Clearly doesn't pay much attention to what goes on at his own club... Conference football? Yeah alright. Harrold to Bury? Not a chance. How much is David James on to sit on your bench again? So Rovers who think they are the biggest side in League 2 must be jokingas they dont have the biggest crowds, play on a rugby ground and are a selling club so how the hell do they think they are the biggest club in L2. They may come from a big City but thats it. small time and always will be.Aston Villa are a selling club & they are not rubbish lol.And lets leave yeovil out of this haha

08 Sep 2011 17:51:06
Bristol City manager Keith Millen has this week had to deal with a huge bust up in the changing room.

Whilst playing darts Jamal Campbell Ryce mistakenly lobbed a dart into Jamie McAllister's leg and a fight proceeded to happen. McAllister grabbed JCR by the neck until he was rugby tackled by David James which then caused them to fall into all the players sweets and drinks knocking them all of the table.

A riot began in the players lounge and five players were sent to hospital for check ups. Jamie McAllister has now gone on holiday to South Africa without permission leaving the club with no other option but pretend he is out injured for a few months.(10)(20)

Bristol City have made a huge error in the way they have handled the nicky maynard situation. Desperate not to lose him, they are willing to make him the highest paid player in the clubs history. The offer has been on the table for nearly 3 months but nicky WONT sign because he cant see keith millen as the man to lead bristol city. Other 1st team players now want improved contracts to match the offer to maynard. campbell-ryce has got so annoyed by this he has fallen out with millen and has been transfer listed. cisse has asked to leave because he feels he should be playing, not fighting for a place on the bench. Pitman wants to leave so he can play in his natural postion. Fontaine is another player unhappy with millen and wants out.(15)(8)How do you know thisThis is a mixture of fantasy, old, disproven rumours from here and rantings from some on the supporter's forum. The offer to make Maynard the highest paid player at the club (and his refusal so far to sign) are the only truthful things hereFontaine is another player unhappy with millen and wants out.

So why did he reject Southampton to stay at City?I heard southampton weren't too keen on his ankle problems so pulled outFontaine didn't reject southampton, he failed a medical!Nope, he rejected you! Sorry to say that guys.

08 Sep 2011 16:42:14
Former Stoke and Iceland manager Gudjon Thordarson is in talks with Crewe boss Dario Gradi about becoming Technical Director. Gradi had the role a few years ago and believes someone needs to be taking on that role now. Thordarson, who has failed in becoming a manager at a number of clubs, wants a change and rejoining Crewe would be a good opportunity.(3)(7)

08 Sep 2011 16:39:19
Steve Parkin, who recently has been a First Team Coach at Hull City and Scunthorpe, is set to sign a two year deal with Bury. Richie Barker is keen on adding some experience to his backroom staff for a new campaign in League 1 and the former Barnsley boss will be labelled as assistant manager.(4)(5)The Mansfield town Connection - could be quite strong. Wish we could have got the combination of the two of them at the stags again.

08 Sep 2011 16:36:53

08 Sep 2011 16:13:47
Paul McShane has been told by Hull boss Nigel Pearson that he will be sold in January to raise funds for another defender. McShane, recently Republic of Ireland captain, was on loan at Barnsley last season and impressed but Keith Hill has said he wouldn't like any players on loan from last season. The Oakwell club are also said to be in financial trouble so Hill probably couldn't afford the deal anyway. Leeds United could be interested in taking McShane in January as Simon Grayson has said that he 'will never stop looking to improve his defence'. The Irish defender is keen on staying in Yorkshire and is expected to talk to United once he's fully fit.(4)(3)I dont think this is very likely.

Firstly, he's injured (But should be back in training next week)

and secondly - Hull have no back up for Chester and Hobbs. If one of them got injured there is no one to replace them. Not a chance, he's on £24k a week and Papa Smuf won't pay anything like that, he had a good pre-season, he's unlikely to be going anywhere.Hull have told sonny bradley hell be in and around the squad so this could be true...from a hull a fan i hope it doesn't happen but ive heard rumours around the city that he could be on his way outIs that the Scottish Ted Bovis ??

08 Sep 2011 16:10:55

Ipswich Town could come in for a loan offer until December which could be made permanent in January.(4)(7)He's going back to Leeds mate

08 Sep 2011 16:07:56
Walsall striker Jon Macken looks set to be released from his contract mutually after rejecting a new contract and will sign a one month rolling contract with high flying Charlton.(4)(8)Impossible - to avoid a scam like this - the rules say that only players who were free agents on deadline day can be signed by others. A loan is the only route to a signing otherwise. So unless Walsall loan him to Charlton then no deal till Jan!

08 Sep 2011 16:06:39
Peterborough United midfielder Grant McCann has signed a pre contract deal with Celtic. The Northern Ireland palymaker is keen on stay at London Road as he's captain but a bid from the biggest team in Scotland may tempt him away. It is thought Darren Ferguson is tempted by the bid, supposedly around £400,000.(3)(10)Yes i heard that he is opening an ardvark smoothie stall for the faithful and intends to perform the history of the club as a musical wearing frilly bloomers with matching pom pomsMcCann will end his career at poshRangers are the biggest club in Scotland. This is completely idiotic
Pre contracts are signed when a player is free to leave within 6 months - hence a fee would only be payable if a player is under 24. A pre contract is a contract - the player is bound by it - no use signing it if player is keen to stay - once signed it is a binding arrangement - so me thinks this is a celtic fan who wants to take a pop at rangers- its all crapMcCann = posh... He would never leaveWhere do you get the fact that Celtiv are the 'Biggest' club in Scotland? ... Its Rangers, They've won more trophies domestically than any other club in the world and have 3 the SPL the last 3 seasons on trotI have no interest in Scottish football as it's awful but Celtic are clearly the biggest team there. about the 15th biggest in britain though.Biggest team in scotland, haha thats made my day hearing that

08 Sep 2011 16:04:29
Anthony Kay has been informed by Lee Clark at Huddersfield that a bid from Premier League side West Brom but they will reject it. Kay has been in superb form over the last few seasons and has interested Roy Hodgson at West Brom. Albion could bid in January for the defensive midfielder.(4)(9)

08 Sep 2011 16:02:45
Preston striker Iain Hume is on course for signing a pre contract with Norwich City. Paul Lambert had a bid turned down on the last day of the transfer window for the Canada international but recently have had a bid of around £1.3 million accepted. Hume will continue to hold talks with City after the weekend.(3)(15)Ha ha how funny are you humey is settled and as said he is happy at preston and does not want to move pne dont need to sell,Clown how can he sign a pre-contract , thats only if you are out of contract at the end of season :) , he still got 3 years to run.A deal can be agreed whether a contract is about to run out or not

08 Sep 2011 16:00:44
Austria Wien (Vienna) are very close to agreeing terms with Reading midfielder Brian Howard. 08 Sep 2011 13:17:25
Jamal Campbell-Ryce has handed a transfer request in at Bristol City and has told Keith Millen he never wants to play for the club again. This has come after Millen told the former Jamaica international that he wants him to sort his attitude out. JCR is currently holding talks with Motherwell over a possible loan deal for January, which could be made permanent in the summer. Whatever the price, City will lose the price they paid Barnsley for him.(7)(11)

08 Sep 2011 13:14:55
Former Sheffield Wednesday and Charlton striker Deon Burton looks set to leave Gabala in the Azerbaijan, in order to sign a three year contract with Preston North End in January. Burton only had a one year contract at Gabala and it runs out in December. 08 Sep 2011 13:12:54

08 Sep 2011 13:10:29
Leo Bertos, who had a trial at Werder Bremen in the summer, is set to have talks with Australian side Melbourne Victory. 08 Sep 2011 13:08:05
Chris Barker is set to have his contract extended or he will be told he can leave, according to Southend boss Paul Sturrock. Barker has attracted interest from a number of clubs, including Stoke City. City are keen to get Barker on a pre contract to cover the left back position and could get him for just £50,000 if a fee can be agreed.(1)(7)

08 Sep 2011 13:05:49
Hartlepool defender Neil Austin will leave Hartlepool in order to move up a level. Sheffield United are keen to bring the former Barnsley full back back to South Yorkshire.(2)(5)How is he going up a level if he is joining Sheff United - they are in the same division (League One)?Yes, they won't be next season though :)

08 Sep 2011 13:04:09
Diego Arismendi could leave Stoke on loan until December by joining Blue Square Premier side Mansfield Town. Town are very keen on signing another midfielder and could see the ex Uruguay international moving until January to get fitness and form back.(2)(9)Doubt it as tony has named him in his 25 man premier league squad and in his europa league squad

08 Sep 2011 13:02:00
Patrick Cryne this week will come out and explain the financial situation at Barnsley. There are strong rumours that Barnsley could be close to administration if they don't get rid of players on pre contracts or on loan upto and in January.
-Luke Steele could be in talks with Birmingham City after he was seen around the St Andrews area on Tuesday night. Chris Hughton is keen on bringing a goalkeeper in January and the high interest in the former England under 21 keeper is never ending.
-Nathan Doyle is set to join Manchester United on trial after some very impressive performances for Barnsley last season. Doyle is only 24 years old and could sign a one year deal with United after Barnsley put a price tag on the former Hull City player of around £300,000.
-Unsurprisingly Danny Haynes looks set to leave Barnsley. Haynes is apparently entering talks with Motherwell this coming week. Haynes is wanting to move away from Oakwell after a fall out with Keith Hill, with also the wages set to be cut. Haynes could be signed next week on a pre contract agreement.
-Jim O'Brien is another player that has come under scrutiny at Oakwell and could join Rotherham United on loan next weekend until December 3rd.
-Craig Davies could end up leaving Oakwell after being told by Keith Hill the pressure is on the former Chesterfield striker to score goals. Davies is wanted by former club Chesterfield on loan and a deal could be thrashed out in the next month.
-Second choice goalkeeper David Preece will be mutually released and will sign a one month rolling contract with Swiss side FC Basel. Preece will still carry on doing journelism for Barnsley FC but is still wanting a couple more years playing professional football.
-Barnsley have accepted a £100,000 bid from Swedish side Halmstad for Serb midfielder Goran Lovre.
-Andy Gray has already been told by Keith Hill that he will be sold or loaned out and could see an incoming bid from Southampton either now or in January.(3)(17)Wot a load of bull st mate, non of this is going to happen, dream onNathan doyle at man u looool he is ste wouldnt get in my sunday sideNathan Doyle to Man United is hilarious. What a load of rubbish !!!Nathan Doyle to Man Utd is hilarious, he is tang, was at Hull and couldnt get in, technically nowhere near good enough to play at that level !

08 Sep 2011 12:55:20
Leyton Orient will sign Thomas Ince from Blackpool and Jo Kuffour from Bristol Rovers on 3 months loans tomorrow.
Dean Parratt will also arrive from Spurs next week--the club failed to sign John Bostock(4)(10)As if you clown Thomas ince has just signed for Blackpool so why would they want to let him leave he was part of the deal for charlie adam so obs holloway sees him as a good playerI am a Blackpool season ticket holder. I have no idea whether or not this rumour is correct about Thomas Ince butI wouldn't totally rule it out. It depends on how close Ian Holloway feels Ince is to starting matches for the 'Pool. If he is not ready for regular starts right away it could make sense to let him go to somewhere like Orient for three months to help him get regular first team football.

08 Sep 2011 12:50:25
Charlton manager Chris Powell said at today's press conference that he is no longer after another striker as he considers Michael Smith ready for first team action. "We were cautious initially about (Smith) but he's shown in training and a reserve game that he's up to the Standard we need in league one" Powell said.

Powell denied that he was interested in either Billy Paynter or Nathan Eccleston on loan and laughed off talk about James Constable from Oxford.(3)(3)

08 Sep 2011 12:13:16

Source Lancashire Radio ."

What a load of bcks. Firstly there is no such thing as Lancashire Radio and secondly Ollie would never let down the club he loves.(1)(10)And also you posted this yesterday , which did not happernQuite right, ther is no such thing as Lancashire Radio. However you don't have to be Einstein to work out that this could be Radio Lancashire, so stop nit-picking.Ollie has left clubs he loved more than Blackpool....Ollie is Bristol rovers through & through, blackpool are lucky to have a manager of his qualities

08 Sep 2011 11:40:27

08 Sep 2011 07:39:13
Scott Loach is very close to leaving Watford after handing in a transfer request on the last day of the deadline. Loach is wanted by Chris Hughton at Birmingham and is rumoured to have had a £2 million bid rejected. The England goalkeeper may see a deal completed in January to the Midlands.(5)(8)Watfords new board have been very transparent in things that have gone on since they took over - and have said nothing about any approach for Loach or that he requested a transfer. It would also take more than 2mil to get him out of Vic Road as well. Watford don't need to sell anymore - their debt is under control which is more than can be said for a lot of Championship clubs.Sell the liability, worst keeper in the division. Not worth 2k let alone 2mill.More chance of Loach being Villa's number 2 instead of joining our poor rivals.Bham dont have 2 million

08 Sep 2011 07:40:50
Carlton Cole is already in talks with Aston Villa over a possible move to Villa Park in January. The West Ham striker has been superb this season in the Championship and is ready to move back up to the top flight. Cole will be available for around £5 million.(6)(11)I would love to see Cole in a Villa shirt AGAIN! (he was a Villa player ages ago).
But, It looks like McFadden is joining.
Heskey is in good form so far.
Cole or McFadden would be a good option for Villa.Cole has been superb... really? He's meant to be England quality and he's plying his trade in the Championship. He's not wanted by big clubs and has been labouring in the C'Ship, only a blinkered fan could describe him as being superb!5m for cole , i wunt gi over 2.5 for him

08 Sep 2011 07:36:37
David Stockdale could see talks with Middlesbrough materialise this week. Stockdale is keen to leave Fulham in January permanently and Tony Mowbray will hopefully see the deal to sign the England keeper done whilst also pushing for promotion.(1)(19)He's on loan at Ipswich and if he's going any ware on a permanent basis it will be Ipswich, But Fulham wont let their rising star move on

Kilmarnock failed with a bid for Ipswich striker Jason Scotland in the transfer window. The Scottish side have said they will go back for the Trinidad and Tobago forward next year and Scotland is reported to have been keen on moving back to Scotland if the next few months don't work out at Ipswich.(1)(6)Thatys funny cause if they could have agreed terms he would be a blackpool player now,fee was agreed with club just not with player

08 Sep 2011 07:27:34
Bad boy striker Nile Ranger is in talks with MLS side San Jose Earthquakes. Reports suggest Ranger is keen to move away from England after poor performances and stories at Newcastle United have put his promising career in doubt. Ranger could sign for Earthquakes for around £1 million.(6)(5)How can he be signing for san jose if he couldnt even get into america on newcastles pre-season tour due to his criminal record?Doubt it, as he wasnt allowed in the country in the summer along with barton.Wasn't he rejected a visa for Newcastles pre-season tour of America? Doubt he'd gain one to stay there permanently.Ranger will not get into USA cos of his criminal record, hopefully he will go to Birmingham. Personally I would pack his bag and drive him there .Over rated and much loved by the Geordie nation, no reason why he hasnt scored a top flight goal yet

08 Sep 2011 07:25:00
Wales defender Danny Collins is in line to leave Stoke City but not until January. QPR failed with a last minute bid for the left back come centre defender in the transfer window. Collins is keen to stay at Stoke until possibly moving to London next year. Collins has told City boss Tony Pulis he would rather fight for his place until January then drop down a division. Collins could sign for Neil Warnocks' side for around £1.2 million.(2)(7)Hes not in stokes 25 man squad, so how can he fight for his place? Der plus hes off to pompey according to pulis, as hes good mates with cotterball....He can't fight for his place as he is not in Pulis's 25 man squad - dohStoke and qpr are in the same division so he wouldnt be dropping anywhereHe's Ipswich bound, Pompey can have Leadbitter insteadCan't see how Cotter pin has any decent contacts at Stoke after walking out a few years ago and going to Sunderland I think. He had a good opportunity at Stoke and blew it. Look how the paths have gone since

08 Sep 2011 07:22:28
Stoke midfielder Danny Pugh will turn down Leeds United in order to pen a loan deal with Oldham. Pugh is keen on working for Paul Dickov after knowing him since he was a little boy. Pugh could sign for Oldham for three months then it could be extended to the end of the season later in the year.(5)(14)Never heard so much rubbish! what they paying him with chocolate buttons!Yes because over Championship football and 20,000+ fans every week, its every footballers dream to play for Oldham :o) PEZNice to see the leeds living in the past boys
back again he may prefer playing for
oldham thinking they may swap places with you at the end of the season but generous
ken may offer rolos and sway the dealHa ha ha...never seen it lolIt's not living in the past it's just the fact that Leeds are a bigger club and better than Oldham will ever be.

We will sign Danny Pugh :) MOT MOT MOT

08 Sep 2011 07:18:53
Matthew Bates could be in line for a surprise move further South from Middlesbrough to Millwall. Kenny Jackett has made it public that he is keen on another defender and could match the asking price in January for the former England youth international. Jackett could also make a cheeky loan bid today but is expected to get it rejected.(3)(12)

08 Sep 2011 07:16:32
Aston Villa are very keen on signing Craig Dawson from rivlas West Brom in January. Alex McLeish was impressed with how the former Rochdale defender played for the England under 21's on Monday night and could bid something around £3 million for the 21 year old.(6)(10)£3 million would probably buy you his right foot!£3m would buy WBA a player .. without loaning one.
Clark & Dawson would make great replacements for Dunne & Collins.

08 Sep 2011 07:14:09
Hoffenheim and Bosnia striker Vedad Ibisevic is wanted by Barcelona. Pep Guardiola is after a striker who can score goals but also play up front by himself and the Bosnian is keen to move away from the German top flight in order to join the Spanish champions.(4)(8)Is david villa not good enough or something

07 Sep 2011 22:02:40
Nottingham Forest and Ipswich Town are battling to sign Stoke City defender Danny Collins on loan(11)(9)Hes joing Southampton..Hes joining Southampton.. - could happen and should get on well with Maynard,Rodriguez, Owen & Hargreaves and everyone else Southampton signed!Southampton fans seem to think everyone is joining themForget Forest signing anyone, they're all talk and have no money thanks to their so called fans abandoning them, when was the last time they filled the City Ground? Used to be a big club but now firmly smalltime, and living on borrowed time in the Championship. He's in talks with qpr about a pre contract.See the Dirtby clownty fans on here giving it the large one, small town club, beat you lot twice last season......Well that just proves everything doesn't it genius? You beat Derby twice last season and therefore you're not a smalltime club, great logic right there - didn't have much to say about being skint or about not being able to fill your ground though did you?

Big clubs fill their grounds with fans, the fans generate revenue, the revenue raised is reinvested and the club continues to develop. Small clubs flap their gums, don't fill their grounds, and unveil Johnathon Greening as their star signing... oops!Whereas Derbys biggest signing was a Forest reject... Small club with small ambitions

I have it on extremely good authority - source from within club that Southampton will be obtaining Danny Collins on loan to cover whilst Dan Seabourne recovers.(14)(14)Saints fans msut have nothing better to doHes on his way to your more successful neighbours portsmouth fact....Think you'll find it's leeds.I dont actually know where hes going but as were all doing it.... He's coming to ForestHe'd rather go to burger king rather than pompeyMore successful neighbours? Eastleigh? Surely you don't mean the fish botherers do you? dont make me laugh

brentford to sign loan ofjeffery schlupp and fiz hall(3)(18)Really when jeff schlupp plays in leicester first teamNot a prayer of Schlupp going anywhere now, he's forced his way into the first team and will partner Beckford whilst Nugent is out. He's scored 4 goals thus far (league cup) and will scare the bejesus out of defences with his speed. He's a combination of Julian Joachim and someone good...Schlupp is to go out on loan to swfc, megson and manderic were trying to get him in a few weeks ago. Sven has said its ok for him to go on loan now.No way will you get Schlupp on loan, Waghorn has been loaned to Hull and Nugent is sidelined so Jeffery is going no where!!!!I think you should hold your breath until the move to SW is complete. Good luckIt's common knowledge now that Sven will partner Jeffrey Schlupp with Jermaine Beckford, Sven has publicly stated that he "see's a huge future for the lad", and with Nugent injured and out of the picture for a month or more Sven knows that his striking options are going to be severely limited with Waggy now out of the picture and no way is he destined to be loaned out so soon, later? well maybe but just not now!

QPR to give a trial to Safee and the Beckham rumour isn't going away either(5)(12)Beckham stated that he does not want to play for any other premier league club other than UTD , and Taggart said he is too old so get over it deluded QPR fans.Didn't say he was joining, just said the rumour won't go away the only reason I would want him at Loftus Road is for the money he brings in through his fan base!! not deluded this is a rumour site for er rumours I thought... didn't say he had put pen to paper, learn to chill out!!No chance bud, the Premier League thing is the reason he wouldn't sign for anyone. We (Leicester) have been linked with him (by Newspapers not fans) a couple of times. I wouldn't want him in a shirt on the pitch, i'd want to boost shirt sales in Asia and to generate big money in time for the FFP rules next season. Won't happen though so who cares!Fair point, but stranger transfers have happened and being a QPR fan for over 30 years nothing would shock me

07 Sep 2011 14:05:35
Luton Town to announce new signings on Friday(7)(11)Like any one cares about a conference side. They are signing some players seen have a kick about in Bury Park. Better than what they already have. No chance what so ever of promotion! It's good to see two completely clueless replies to a thread about my beloved Hatters. If you have no input to this thread don't bother commenting on it.

Just so you know we actually have a very good chance of promotion, once we get some of our injured defenders back and Fleetwood settles in we'll tear the Conference apart

07 Sep 2011 10:38:47
Mikel Forssell to Leeds (Y.E.P)

Danny Pugh to Leeds on loan (Skysports)(10)(19)What a stellar signing. Pugh will put an extra 5,000 on the gate. Not inspired in the slightest by any of these potential signings, now that gradel has gone this team has no chance of promotion, sorry but michael brown, paul rachubka danny pugh and forssell just do not do it.Hes off to pompey, thats whats being reported in stoke....As if they will go to Leeds very poor side without any ambition and skint

07 Sep 2011 07:48:32
blackburn will ffer ex oldham and everton forward scott spencer a 2 year contract the striker has hit 9 goals in 7 games for hyde and will sign till end of season with option of further year(3)(13)

Hernanes is likely to be joining Arsenal from Lazio at the winter window as the real long term Fabregas replacement.(5)(10)I doubt Lazio wud sell unless it was for a massive fee, or Hernanes tried to engineer a move and he seems like a pretty honeest pro, in my eyes. But i wud like to see him test himself in the Prem. So goodluck :DApparently barring a exceptional talent work visa he would have trouble obtaining a visa due to not enough international games

07 Sep 2011 09:57:54
LEON Clarke is set to move out on loan to League One Chesterfield later this week, the Advertiser understands.

Paolo Di Canio only brought the former QPR striker to Town on a two-year deal towards the end of last month.

But after his altercation with the Town boss following the Carling Cup defeat to Southampton, Di Canio said Clarke would never play for the club again.

There was interest in Clarke from clubs in both League Two and One.

www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk(4)(5)How anyone can say they dont believe this when i've placed the bleedin website on there for people to look at the article, is beyond me....some people are so funny.....Its now on BBC Sport football......website.Looking at it from the outside this looks like an incredibly bad piece of management, on a par with Phil Brown keeping the Hull players on the pitch during half time. I would regard di Canio as too volatile to be a manager and in the long run Swindon would probably be better keeping Clarke and moving out di Canio.

Scott Wagstaff Charlton is being watched by Nottingham Forest. Watford are also watching the situation.(7)(11)

Ian Holloway set to hold press conference at 4pm today to resign from Blackpool FC due to promises not being met by the Chairman Karl Oyson. Oyston has not sanctioned the money agreed to pay for players Holloway wanted off his "hit list" to get Blackpool promoted.

Source Lancashire Radio .(14)(17)I do hope this is a load of bull but i wouldnt be supprised if it happened today or at some pointHolloway is too good for a shyster like Oyston. Sewing bags, sewing bags, sewing bags, O J Oyston. Like father, like son I say.Holloway is a tool, Blackpool got lucky and that's about all that happened. They were found out in the Prem and Holloway used his manament skills to get them relegated immediately. Once he quits the club will slide back into nothingness and Holloway will be lucky to hitch a ride with a Div 1 club. Can't wait to see the back of him, hopefully he'll take maxipads with him.Just phoned the club and they have confirmed there is a press conference at 4pm.
Wonder who the replacement will be .Thanks Olly .Well its now 1638 and no news...some how think this might have been a false story..........i would have thought it would have been breaking news on BBC Sport......however...nothing as yet....Its now 1725 and nothing.....

I think people should stop telling silly stories.............Holloway isnt going anywhere.....now is he....Mmmmm?? Still no press conference! I wonder if the original post came from the other end of the M55? lmao, you couldnt be further from the truth if you tried.

Mr.Roller Coaster

Burnley are looking to add some experience to their back line with loan deals for :

Matt Kilgallon CB Sunderland
Danny Pugh LB Stoke City

Also watch for a deal for a return of Chappy on loan from southampton to bolster the midfield

Tom Eaves from Bolton is also a possibility as part of the eagles/Mears deal.(5)(16)None of these would improve the squad - suggests panic by Eddie Howe after failing to land his targets like Shotton.Kilgallon and Pugh are has-beens now and Chaplow would hardly improve midfield.

As for Eaves, we don't want another unproven striker (like Ings) and especially one who hasn't scored a SINGLE goal in the league. Bolton are taking the proverbial ps. Surely they have someone better and more experienced we can borrow.Chaplow is very much a part of the Southampton squad, he is currently injured following suspension. He will not be leavingYes i've heard this and rodrigues is coming to the mighty Saints as part of the deal ;-)

06 Sep 2011 20:44:07
Ganso joining Man City for 28 million pounds he would get a £190,000 a week contract(4)(17)And where would he fit in? on the bench? and if he joined , who would miss out? and then want to leave, would nasri or barry or toure be dropped? aint gonna happen. If so, will join the long list of promising youngsters whose development will be halted dramatically by seasons spent bench warming. Think City just buying players other clubs want so they can't have them rather than buying their own players that they actually want/need. Lets hope financial fair play rules put an end to this nonsense.Financial rules will not due to the stadium naming rights on "Manchester Stadium"/ Etihad Arena.

milner/johnson could leave Man City.

Milner/Johnson are apparently wanted by mcleish as VP.

just heard from a source that david silva wants to join ipswich town {Ed025's Note - really????....are you sure it was not...long john silva..(7)(23)There's a namesake David Silva at Kilmarnock...could be him. {Ed025's Note - it could be...i forgot about him....lolMaybe, except Killie's David Silva is out indefinitely with a pretty serious injury. This would be a strange time to make such a remark. If it's the guy from city then I can't see Cleggy pulling it off I'm afraid! In fact, what you been drinking/smoking?

06 Sep 2011 16:09:56
I have it on very good authority that Norwich city will be completeng perminant deals for both of the loan players. Oli Johnson will be an Irons player on Thursday, Nelson convinced him to join them, this came from Colney, Paul Lambert will be looking for three new players in January(5)(9)He played for the iron in a reserve game last night

06 Sep 2011 15:51:38
I am a friend of George John's family and it is very likely that he will still end up in a Blackburn shirt this winter. There were some contract issues and FC Dallas was not so keen on losing him during the final stretch. Look for renewed mutual interest from both sides starting early January during the MLS offseason.(4)(10)

06 Sep 2011 15:07:59
wesley sneijder is joining chesea for a 50million and paul priestley is the new manger of rochedale(6)(23)Why would they pay that amount? chelsea are struggling with their wage bill as it is, so to sign him they would have to get rid of some big earners. Why would we opay 15m more than his askign price of 35m? what ever you smoking can i have some?

05 Sep 2011 21:05:56
Liverpool are planning moves for Eden Hazard and Gary Cahill in January while Maxi Rodriguez and Martin Skrtel could depart. Liverpool are also keeping tabs on Daniel Sturridge.(10)(20)All true mate
reds all da way!!! {Ed025's Note - not a bad side...but 3rd..at bestThat wud do me ed

ste liverpoolBlah blah blah! Maybe scott dan and victor moses will join you but no world class players sorryThe deal to take cahill its very much on, dialogue between spurs & bolton is to continue, levy offered £8 mill plus a £4 mill player, coyle was too gready wanting defoe plus the money! The original deal (now maybe slightly less cash due to remainder of contract?) Will be accepted in january, cahill wanted to join spurs during the window and was said to be furious with bolton wanderers and now wants to join spurs at the earliest convenient spot in january, he has already told defoe and parker of his intentionsThey'll both be joining on at the Emirates and playing champions league. they wont leave for a lesser clubI guarantee that "blah blah blah" comment is from an Evertonian. whoever you r stop worrying about potential LFC signings and start worrying about whats going to happen to your club, its going belly up, if any of your 1st team get injured you're really going to struggle surely that must be more important to you than making a childish comment about a team you dont support.Blimey a goonhead with humour! You must feel left out at the new library. Watching arsenals like a divorce! Glum, gloomy and they take all your money for nothing in returnMore like the Dukes of Hazard-jokers

Paynter has aparently been seen in Brighton and a posibility of a loan spell until the january transfar window with the option of buyingaccording to the club(14)(11)Ye thats why grayson to;d the leeds website hes in his plansHope so ill drive him to brigton myself this guys crapPaynter is a L1 player as i told Leeds fans when they got him from us hes' had one good season in L1 and because of that he thinks he is better than what he is prior to joining us he coudlnt hit a barn door and he should have stayed with us as he will never make the grade in the championship. Its sadly not true. Paynter is starting in a reserve match for Leeds against Hull. In my opinion, though, Brighton are welcome to him.I'll be glad to see the back of him. Terrible player.Thank heavens for that - better in Leeds reserves than coming to Brighton. Even Gus makes mistakes!Get rid worst striker ever if we are to go up we need shooters not L1 has beensWas confirmed by Andy Naylor that Brighton are no longer chasing Paynter a couple of days ago.

I live in the shadows of Ewood Park and sometimes find myself at the pub with Blackburn execs. Apparently a big acquisition for the club is going to be exciting 22 year old defender Mark Gurman (sometimes spelled Gorman) of FC Astana.(3)(8)I also live in the shadows and often find myself feeling cold!If I was asked to describe the most grim
place on the planet I don't think I could
do better than The Shadows of Eward Park

05 Sep 2011 13:12:20
Ryan Shotton been named in Stoke's 25 man squad so Eddie Howe turns his attention to Matthew
Briggs. Also Jay Rodriguez never held talks with Southampton but a bid believed to be around £6m was accepted

.> correct on the Jay Rod with SFC, bid was accepted - However i understand that a replacement was wanted which left Burnley with no time to spend - i also understand they Jay would come unless he was happy that the Burnley board could replace him.
I am not a fan of either club, but it is undersgtood that depending on where the clubs sit come Jan that this could hot up again.(5)(5)Load of rubbish. As if Jay Rod told the board he would not go because there was not enough time to replace him.

If the £6 million bid was accepted by Burnley's money-grabbing board, it is obvious that Jay Rod told them he did NOT want to go to Southampton.

And Saints certainly will NOT get him on the cheap in January - they'll either have to pay the same or even MORE than £6 million.

Ellington is StNathan Ellington to Colchester?....why, dont you want to score any goals then?Lazy useless striker been found out again! W,brom watford and now ipswich sussed him out, forgot about greek club and derby. total rubbish. Non league at best.He was absolute crap at Derby, about the only goal he scored was a penalty, which incidentally he is very good at, so just bring him on when you get a penalty and you'll be 'reet.

05 Sep 2011 15:10:12
Tranmere manager Les Parry has stated that he will move to bring in a couple of players on friday. This is due to the current injury crisis at Prenton Park with 6 first teamers currently on the injury list.(3)(7)To the people who dont believe this, go on the tranmere website you fools and that will prove that les parry is looking to go into the loan market! It's not that we don't believe you it's just nobody cares!!

Looks like the Championship could be set for a shock exit.

Simon Grayson is, according to my source, on the brink of walking. From what I gather, the expectation at Leeds for this season is promotion, but Ken Bates isn't putting forward the money in order to achieve this. My source has said that the feeling in the club is that Grayson will walk rather than be pushed at the end of the season.(25)(10)I'm guessing your source has access to a newspaper and/or common sense? You'll be giving us the scoop that Steve McClaren is unhappy at Forest next.Correct - my source has confirmed that Steve McLaren is unhappy at Forest. I understand that Shhhteve was none-too-chuffed with the meagre £2m at his disposal over the summer. If SG was given that, I suspect he'd win us the league.Let's all make up a rumour and see who believes it. Read the Grayson interview when the window shut and he states quite clearly that the signings he lost were NOT down to money, just that the players chose premier league clubs. I think you've been making these rumours up for too long, you probably believe them yourself

05 Sep 2011 09:46:47

Modric to move to United in Jan. Spurs will not sell to Chelsea after their underhand tactics and Berbatov will be part of the deal as well.(14)(18)I very much doubt he will sell to united either regarding the way they took berbatov! But your right they definitely won't sell to chelsea, from what I hear a deal was agreed between clubs and players but time ran out for a deal to take modric to madrid with money and kaka (loan?) Going to spurs, this may well be opened again come january, as reported, the cahill deal will continue with negotiations between clubs ongoing. What under-hand tactics? They just made a bid, which got rejected, so they made a bigger bid.

There's nothing wrong with thatDoesnt make sense Modric wants to stay in LondonSpurs said no, not once not twice not thrice how many times does it take to understand the word no??? The real underhand tactics was the arnesan issue, the cowardly and sneaky way they poached arnesan from spurs, those are the underhand tactics I would hazard a guess he meant? Nevertheless they are one of the main reasons if not the main reason its self spurs said no!!Sound's interesting. So what gave the spuds the hump was they did,nt like there own tactics being used on them hahaI would think they didnt like how much chelski insisted on talking about the deal publicly. why not bid quietly? why bid such derisory figures? 22 mill spurs say no sell at any price so they think 24 would change their minds and tell every tom dick and harry?!
If they came in with the reported 40mill bid at the start they would have their man, or if they hadent publicly atempted to disgruntle the player.

05 Sep 2011 05:32:38
