Jose Fonte is expected to be sold to Newcastle from Southampton for a fee of 2 million. Sean St. Ledger will be on his way in from Leicester on loan(9)(23)Yeah right. You obviously don't know your recent Saints history do you?Leicester won't loan anyone out untl the new manager gets his feet under the table mateIf Fonte goes to Newcastle it will be for a damn site more than 2 Million chumFonte isn't good enough for the Championship, let alone the Prem. ChumHe's gone to Preston, official.Wrong!! It's Jonathan Forte (a Barbadian striker) that's gone to Preston, NOT Jose Fonte (a Portuguese defender). Do your research!!Fonte has been in the championship team of the week TWICE this season already do he is more than capable in the championship

And it's FoRte not FoNte that's gone to Preston

Norwich to be in league 2 in 5 years time......(31)(26)Ah, the wishful thinking of the Ipswich Town supporter. I wondered where he was!I am not an Norwich or Ipswich fan but this comment is a) ridiculous, b) pathetic, c) pointlessNorwich will never stay up due to the fact....tiny clubs never do.

portsmouth are looking to sign a alien from planet zogg. He is quite keen on playing for pompey as he already lives on a different planet and he thinks he will fit in well with the rest of the skates. He's not worried about getting paid cause on zogg they dont use money. He's also shy but has been told they dont have very high attendances like the superior proper club up the road, so he should be ok.
Also steve mcclaren has been offered the job but refused saying he is desperate but not insane. Local developer still interested in fratton for state of the art sewage works.(15)(6)

You stupid gobby S-ummer roll on the 18 th December thats if you have the guts to show upFratton Park does need to go its awful. Im from portsmouth and its an embarrassment. Im a Leeds fan so no real rivalry just the ruth. I am looking forward to seeing Alein Play tho. Apparently very probing in attack {Ed025's Note - he used to play for L A galaxy..I heard his ability is out of this world makes messi look average {Ed025's Note - dont believe you...your talking through,....uranusRoll on the 18th see who be laughing then you be so embarrest you scers wished would run away with your sorry heads to planet zorggI think that is a sh#t idea turning Fratton park into sewage works...i know a lot of crap goes through and comes out of there but that is ridiculous

OMG didnt c that coming o oneil is the new manager @ lcfc deal has been signed expect to hear it on ssn very soon(5)(37)I hope this is true where are u getting ur info from??As you use the omg thing i'm guessing you're 10 and that is carp.Hmm nothing on the official site ( infact half of it is your muppet players saying they are looking forward to playing Leeds ha ha ), nothing on sky or on the papers websites.
So little crisp muncher, back to the homework, as for OMG.. lol grow up! MOTThis is true the thai president told me himself, MON first signing is daniel larusso {Ed025's Note - wax off!!Think you will find that SSN report that Nigel Pearson will be Leicester city's next managerHow ridiculous is this post. As if any club would destabilise another club by pretending to want their manager whist secretly going after an unemployed manager that if he had wanted to accept their offer would surely have done so by now without any need for subterfuge. A complete load of piffle.Someones had too many E numbers lay off the smarties kid. There's a good boy.Still waiting to hear chump

08 Nov 2011 17:33:07
charlton should signRichard Kingson
mangus okengue
mark marshall
matt tubbs(4)(11)None of these names are good enough for Charlton. Okuonghae is playing well though for Colchester. However, expect a big new loan signing today/tomorrow.

08 Nov 2011 17:27:46
Southampton's Jonathan Forte and Sam Hoskins have joined Preston on loan until December 4th.(18)(6)Regarding young Sam,good experience for him, regarding Forte, thank God.Why? Fed up with Saints "fans" like we all are on here?

08 Nov 2011 17:07:37
West Ham are trying to sign Nedum Onuoha on a two month loan and they look to sign: Marvan Celik, Craig Reid and Elliott Hewitt in January, who are all players under 21 years old as they look to add depth to their squad(12)(7)...Reid is 25
Not to mention overrated

08 Nov 2011 15:58:57
Southamptons best player Jon Forte has joined Preston North End on a month loan as has young Sam Hoskins, they have both gone to gain expirience in a lower league. Also 20 year old Jack Saville has joined league 2 outfit Barnet for the same period of time. Forte will be dearly missed for the month and every saints fan will greet him on his return.(8)(8)Jon Forte is far from being Southampton's best playerA truer word was never spoken or written,
Forte is a complete waste of space,he'll never come up to the expectations and quality in the squad.A good few people thought it strange when he was handed a three and a half year contract, after watching him for the few times he has played, yeah,it's strange, and he's lucky.
Hope he goes, anywhere, just that he goes.

08 Nov 2011 15:37:30
Chief Scout and Technical Director Gwynn Williams of Leeds United was at Birminghams Training Ground this afternoon, sources close to me are that Leeds are keeping a close eye on Wolverhampton Wanderers central midfield prospect Jack Price who has been in good form for their reserves and is rumoured to be a star in the future if he keeps his head down. Simon Grayson is rumoured to be attending one of the 3 next games.(7)(3)Wow, this news will shock the football world. Why would he be at birminghams training
ground watching a Wolves playerBecause they are leeds a proper big club lolIf we wasnt a proper big club why would u bother writing on a leeds comment, haha, were not famous anymore yeah right !Yes you are right your not famous any more but how long ago was it when you thought you were? is it decades?Leeds were the best english club in europe in 2000 and were unlucky not to have won the competition

08 Nov 2011 14:40:39
Norwich look to have won the race to sign Jordan Rhodes from Huddersfield in January for an undisclosed fee.
Norwich have beaten wigan, fulham and Middlesbrough for the prolific, young league one striker.

looks like Norwich will be relegated as they cant buy premier league quality players, haha back in the championship soon where you belong!!(6)(14)No good players want to go to Carrot Road. How can you make that judgement at this time of the season. Jordan Rhodes has a point to prove in the higher tiers! Jordan is a talented striker that is hungry like Pilkington to get to the Prem. Pilk has scored four goals already and people like you probably wrote him off because 'he's a league one player and won't stand a chance'. Well he's proved the doubters wrong hasn't he! If Rhodes doesn't cut it in the Prem then oh well, but you are such a person not giving a team like Norwich a chance. I think Norwich will finish 14th, Swansea 16th and QPR 12th. None of them will be relegated. If one was to be relegated it would be SwanseaJordan rhodes going nowhere in january so start looking elsewhere waisting your time up the terriers good look for rest of season super pilksWhere is all this money you had to spend Naarwich? £42m it was according to your fans?Well the last post must be from our friends in Suffolk. So either you are winding up or just not very bright. The figure was £37.5M-£42M - that depends on the TV money. Apparently Blackpool got £37.5M. All of that to be the playing budget. Transfers, wages and "other" costs. My guess is we have £8M-10M left in the pot so I think a £4M-£6M spend in Jan

08 Nov 2011 14:20:40
Southampton duo Jonathan Forte and Sam Hoskins have joined Preston North End on 1 month loan deals(12)(6)

08 Nov 2011 14:05:49
jason roberts is going to brentford 3month loan not sheffeild united(7)(20)

08 Nov 2011 11:46:13
Claus Jensen to sign for charlton as coach specifically for the midfield. Charlton found this hard to keep quiet with many other many other teams looking at him. The deal will be confirmed in the next couple of days.(4)(10)I would love to see him back, one of the best players I've seen at Charlton.

08 Nov 2011 11:10:19
Stoke are believed to be interested in Barnsleys
Jacob Butterfield .Everton are also interested
and ready to make a bid .Both clubs will watch him
play for the under 21s if selected
Mates a Barnsley fan and the club rate him highly
and have offered him a new contract.(18)(4)To all the prem clubs interested in jacob butterfieldyou had better get ready to stump up 5 million that is what Barnsley value him at.

08 Nov 2011 09:38:05
Regarding Paul Sturrock:

His house in Devon is up for sale.

His house in Southend is only rented.

Unlikely to extend his contract with Southend at any time.

It is about now Southend will receive the most compensation for him.

With Sky his odds on taking the Hibs Job was 10-1.

Yesterday this was cut dramatically to 3-1.

With these facts in mind just maybe Sturrock is the man after all to fill the void at Easter Road Stadium.(9)(5)He has plenty of time to sign a new contrat.

The odds are stupid, he isnt intrested in going to up there.

He wants to get promoted with Southend he has said this TIME AND TIME AGAIN.

So stop saying he is the man because he isnt going end off.

08 Nov 2011 09:26:32
Regarding Paul Sturrock:

His House in Devon is up for sale.

He only rents his house in Southend.

His Southend contract is up at the end of next season. Unlikely at any time to sign an extention.

So it is about now Southend will get the most compensation for him.

In addition the odds on him on sunday to go to Hibs was 10-1.

Now he's listed at 3-1.

Maybe Sturrock is the man to fill the void at Easter Road Stadium after all.(8)(8)

08 Nov 2011 03:05:47
Whoever said that Swansea City midfielder Leon Britton will sign for his Hometown club Norwich City needs to do their research first as Leon Britton is from Wandsworth, London. Completely fabricated rumour.(3)(10)Ha ha "Norwich Leons Home town" . Come on wind up merchants get real!.

07 Nov 2011 22:47:44

07 Nov 2011 20:58:52
Derby to sign Tom Naylor on loan
before signing him permanently in the
summer. Derby also on the verge of
signing Freddy Eastwood and Gary
O'Neil on loan. Saw this on SSN and
in the Express.(5)(9)Tom naylor is coming but not sure about o neil and eastwoodGary O'Neil who has been injured for six months and might not ever play football again? Seems unlikely mate

07 Nov 2011 20:16:03
Hull will approach Billy Davies to replace Pearson when he goes to Leicester this week.(13)(13)Very good manager they will push for promotion if they do

07 Nov 2011 19:45:50
Swansea midfielder Leon Britton will beg Brendan Rodgers to let him complete his dream move to his hometown club Norwich City.(4)(19)I also heard this and i'm a Swansea STH.Hometown club? leon was born in wandsworth london! He will prob get home sick and move back...

07 Nov 2011 18:54:01
I can tell you as a Hibs fan the main contenders talked about in our local press is Michael O'Neill, Paul Sturrock and Jim Jefferies and Gordan Strachan.

My vote is with O'neill but amongst the gossip with fans is that the Board will eventually approach Southend about the availability of Sturrock.

Can see this happening personally.(8)(14)I'd be surprised if Jim Jefferies, a die hard Jambo, takes the job......but then again he's out of work and he does bring a lot of experience with him!He isnt going anywhere.

Southend will reject any approach, also going to the spl would be step down for him..

Hes been there and done it with Dundee.Hmm i'd go for michael lol

07 Nov 2011 18:50:28

07 Nov 2011 17:39:39

07 Nov 2011 17:38:08
from a southampton fan, i dont think lamberts england class im not even sure if hes good enough for the prem.. he may be top scorer and hes good at what he does but ive think hes reached his level in the champ, but hope im wrong... jutkiewicz was a one man team against us on saturday and would strenthen the team for the 2nd half of the season if he signs in jan(18)(9)

07 Nov 2011 17:22:35
sheffield united looking at marvin mccoy(4)(6)

07 Nov 2011 17:12:11
I suggest Leicester city fans should keep quiet about promotion to the premier league. The last time you got there you were in ADMINISTRATION ALL THAT SEASON, you didn't pay your debts off and short changed the tax man out of more than £6 million quid! Just leave teams alone who get to the Premier League fairly and by paying people what they owe. Maybe you'll do the same one day?(13)(13)Someone sounds a little bitter!!WHAT A WASTE OF WRITING SPACE ON A RUMOUR SITE. heres a rumour for you, nigel pearson to lcfc and roy keane head of candidates at celtic.Settle down you clueless fool what a waste of a comment indeed! Made me laugh though thankyou for cheering me up! Pearson back 2mo & promotion to follow, onwards and upwards :D6 million who cares 'its only pocket money to us lot up the foxesI think you'll find we got promoted in the season we were in administration not the last time we were in the Prem. Jog on clueless!Leicester city - biggest team in the chumpionship. You're on a par with the other clowns southamptonEh? where are southhampton in the league? chumpTo the Saints fan:

It is a marathon, NOT a sprint!!!!!Scary thing is if you look at the teams in the Championship there are a lot of teams in there who have had spells of Administration.
Leicester, Derby, table topping Southampton, Portsmouth, Ipswich etc etc. Its been a general malaise.Dont wish administration on any club but we got out ov it, with fantastic fans and former players that love the club we suvivedI love how some clowns label the fans of a club for the behaviour of a chair, man that hasn't been at the club for the best part of a decade!
leicester City fans pay their way and pay as much as any fan at any club - what's going into administration got to do with them?

07 Nov 2011 16:40:27
southampton will sign 2 players in january.. lucas jutkiewiz for 2m and nathaniel clyne 1.5m, lucas is a southampton lad and fan and would love to rejoin the club, clyne is highly rated by saints, the deal may involve danny butterfield going back to palace(25)(8)

07 Nov 2011 16:29:25
Yesterday Paul Sturrock was 10-1 for the Hibernian job.

Today the odds has been slashed to 3-1.

I'm hearing should Luggy take the plunge and return to his homeland then Graham Coughlan will take over at Roots Hall. At least until the end of the season to see how he gets on.(9)(9)He isnt going anywhere.

Coughlan is long term manager for Southen not yet though.

07 Nov 2011 15:34:07
Hibernian's number one target is Paul Sturrock. Hibs have admitted that they need someone with Sturrock's all round ability to keep them in the SPL and then push on. Compensation will be paid to Southend.(8)(4)To the person who posted this - How believable is it?I spoke to a Hibs supporter (lifelong) and he said that the club want Sturrock.Sturrock isnt going anywhere.

07 Nov 2011 15:13:48
Hudderfied have been asked by Leicester City if they can speak to Lee Clark again.

The sum City have offered matches Hudderfield estimation.

Clark has not ruled himself out only played it down.(4)(12)OK then, so saying he is "NOT" interested in the LEICESTER vacancy & is 100% commited to HUDDERSFIELD TOWN (all this is on the TOWN website) means he is only playin it down does it. YEAH well dun u NUMPTYBreaking news clark changes his name to pearson

07 Nov 2011 14:57:58
Tarik Elyounoussi 23 Norwegian International Striker is about to sign for Brentford from Fredrikstad (Norway) on a two year contract when the January transfer window re-opens. It is thought that Elyounoussi will sign initially on loan until he is able to sign a permanent deal.(10)(7)Why should Tarik sign for Brentford? He can choose any top league in Europe...

07 Nov 2011 14:50:43
Newcastle United are to loan Coventry City up to 3 players as a sweetener to sign highly rated full back Cyrus Christie. Newcastle will then loan the player back to Coventry for the remainder of the season.(10)(9)Pointless loaning Cov 3 playersas, under Football League rules, a team cannot have more than 2 loan players for any one club in their matchday squad of 16.Sounds just like the sort of stupid deal that Pardew would be involved in though.

07 Nov 2011 14:32:27
three prem clubs are looking to sign burnleys charlie austin .(7)(13)

07 Nov 2011 14:09:44

07 Nov 2011 11:38:25
+++NIGEL WORTHINGTON TO BE LEICESTER BOSS+++

Not happy myself, but I believe it's 99% done and will be sorted by Wednesday.(8)(38)I work close to the King Power, and can confirm 100% that Carlo Ancelotti is at the stadium. Both seem very unlikelyWot a load of rubbish dowie was there yesterdayAncelotti,ha ha ha ha time for your medication dearDowie was working for tvDowie was at the king power stadium ystday, as a commentator for Sky Sports, D'oh!Your a funny guy I'll give you that, but as far as rumours go this is 100% bullWrong nigel, i think you mean pearson

07 Nov 2011 11:30:40
Hartlepool United will ensure the signing of ex Newcastle United Stars; Oliver Bernard and Lua Lua at the end of this season if they reach Play Offs. Lua Lua has only signed a deal to the end of the season and has previously worked with Wadsworth and stated He has been approached and there is interest. Also Steve Howard from Leicester could make a return to Victoria Park at the end of the season as early as January to booster up the 'pools attack system.(3)(14)I am not sure about Lua Lua but Steve Howard is 100% previously played for them and not getting his game at Leicester why not move back steve? Is tht the same lua lua who is currently signed for blackpool and scored twice against leeds last week? can't see him leaving there, especially when they are currently in playoffs and he is startingHoward has also started leicester's last 2 games so very doubtful he'll be goingPlease take howard as soon as possibleOlivier Bernard has a degenerative hip - he could barely walk at St.James Park a few weeks ago!Bernard is hardly able to walk due to a hip injury!

07 Nov 2011 09:14:59
Portsmouth to name West Brom assistant head coach Michael Appleton as the manager haha that is a household name....always in the news that bloke.
COYR We are top of the league.(10)(15)Not a Pompey fan but have seen Appleton play and he was brilliant. And not many people had heard of Adkins when you appointed him, stop being a moron. We were a League 1 side and we new Adkins credentials were good, Appleton was a great player, maybe I dont know, but being a great player does not necessarily make you a great managerWow a Southampton fan gobbing off. Funny, havent heard from any of you lot down the road for about 5 years.Unfortunately, i think this will be a good manager for the Skates, comes highly ratedPortsmouth to name West Brom assistant head coach Michael Appleton as the manager haha that is a household name....always in the news that bloke.
COYR We are top of the league.
---------------
Not so sure its a good thing having a Manager that is in the News all the time. As you well know if Managers are in the News all the time it is because they are getting the sack or they are doing a brilliant job, in which bigger clubs will take an interest. Roy Hodson rates him and as Baggies fan I hope he stays with us.
After all the Saints have sacked a few managers in the recent past.
The Saints may get promotion but they are a second rate club with no money and will last 1 season in the Premier League after which we wont here from you for another 5 Years.

07 Nov 2011 07:49:08
During the transfer window, teams like QPR, Swansea and Norwich were blasted by certain people, mainly fro Leicester. I wrote on here MANY times that SGE would be oout of a job well before Warnock et al - they came back boasting what a great side they were and how they would be in the TOP league next season - where are these muppets now? Oh! A transfer rumour - sources close to NW are convinced that Nicky Maynard will sign for QPR in the January window along with at least TWO marquee signings........(7)(6)Yes qpr could do with a couple tentsBitter jealous gobby leicester fans....all that dosh and still cant get in the top 6 of championship hahaOnly 3 points off play off position ,sonny boy

07 Nov 2011 00:48:15
Paul Benson could leave Charlton soon, a number of clubs are said to be interested. Initially he wanted to fight for a place but, as new arrivals have nipped in ahead of him, he may well see a move as his best chance of getting a game.(12)(3)Swindon looked at him but the wages were excessiveHe's not started in the league yet and I doubt if he''ll get into the cup team after his last outing, so that might change.

06 Nov 2011 23:07:21

06 Nov 2011 19:06:11
The vacant managers job at LCFC is Nigel Pearsons to turn down, although he will have to quit Hull to pave the way for thr move after they refused LCFC's approaches. No strong denial from Pearson or Hull suggests that it could be on, sources at LCFC claim he will leave Hull but that remains to be confirmed or denied.

2 weeks since Sven was sacked makes it pretty clear The Foxes are after a man who is currently at another club or the role would have been filled before todays game as the new owners had originally intended. Seems to be a waiting game at the minute as Hull will be doing their utmost to hold onto their man.(7)(5)Lets hope he turns it down. hoofball should be banned.Changed my mind, welcome back nigel

06 Nov 2011 18:03:45
Hibernian sack Colin Calderwood.

Leading contender as a successor is Paul Sturrock.(7)(10)I have it on good authority he is a shoe-in for the Plymouth job.

Calderwood to Pompey and Dave Jones to Hibs.Jim jeffries to be new hibs managerSturrock wont be leaving Southend

End of.

Nigel Pearson has resigned from his post at Hull City F.C and signed a new contract with Leicester after the board refused Leicester permission to make an approach. Betting will be suspended on Pearson if it hasn't already done so. This is not a rumour. This is a fact.

P.S Hull I hear Ian Dowie is available...(14)(18)How do u know this is fact.Let's wait and see shall we, egg on face time I think lolI know Nigel Pearson, its that easy. Not really just wanted to know how u know this is a fact.Just wait til it's announced & pop me another message on here. God bless xSo u dont know its a fact then. He's more likely to sign an improved contract and he was talking yesterday about bringing in new players, let's see what happensTrust me, I do have inside information as I know a realitive of his. He will not be going back to Leicester! This has not happened. No-one really wants the Leicester job, despite the strong team and backroom funds, due to the attitudes of players, the tendency of the owners to sack first and ask questions later and also due to the stadium's silly name.
It is amazing that Leicester fans actually think Pearson would want to come back, after, as I recall, he was so harshly usurped the first time around. Its like when they thought Max Gradel would re-sign for them, even though they treated him like a nobody. Why would anyone in their right mind want to go back there, even if the setup has changed?
I hear Leicester will settle for Dave Jones, who might just keep them up.
wallyWell firstly pearson flogged gradel for peanuts to leeds, he alsp signed some very poor players ie kermo kennedy weale n'guuessan got us out of a poor division the got us into the play off's and played one up front in the first leg against cardiff no thaks hull can keep himPeason sold gradel numb nutsI should have word with that relative there telling porkies

06 Nov 2011 10:41:13
Simon Francis is leaving Charlton for Bournemouth initially on loan until January when a transfer will be made. The cherries tried to sign him in the summer but they could not agree terms, Francis has not played in the league since and may now have lowered his expectations.(10)(2)

06 Nov 2011 09:51:31
hull have denied leicester the chance to talk to nigel pearson (sky sports) BLUE ARMY.(8)(3)He will come to leicesterHe won't leave Hull , and for that get an improved contract at HullI hope not. hoofball no thanksBlue Army, what a joke Leicester neither famours or have a following that could be remotely compared to an army.Guaranteed it will be announced he has resigned to join Leicester. Betting suspended.Thank christ for thatWe are very big in thailand so thereYes we all know hull? are a massive clubCheck the table? you were in league 1 a couple of seasons ago whilst we were premier league so pipe down

Emile Heskey to retire at the end of the season in order to work at WHSmith. He is also wanted by Curry's and Poundland.(37)(10)Good news, glad he's looking for something he might just be able to do.That's just not very nice is it!What as ? Probably as a cardboard cutoutIt's true though,as a striker which is his job,he's not up to the mark, the old saying always has been, "truth hurts".Think he'd be great as a cardboard cutout, wonderful idea.Poundland dont want him-they reckon they couldnt get £1 for him!Heskey was a good player and got to much stick from fans when he always tried and has a lot off medals and englands caps to show for it!Not many goals though, which was supposed to be why he was there.
Yeah, cardboard cutout.Best post on here in months, i think this has to be the rumour most likely to happen.... He is a striker who doesn't score goals, for that reason.... Im out !Sorry guys , I am usually the first guy to say Heskey is rubbish but i went to the Norwich game at VP & He was pretty ok! .. He actually ran!How many goals did he score?

Southend United season ticket holder with genuine news:

Blues will lose Paul Sturrock to Plymouth at the end of the season when Promotion is wrapped up. Luggy will call time on his career in front-line management.

Kane Ferdinand's departure in January will enable the club to sign ready made replacement Michael Timlin on a long-term basis.

The Club is struggling to hold onto Ryan Hall beyond january.

Anthony Grant is also expected to leave either in Jan or in the Summer.

Bilel Mohsni will leave in Jan as he's out of contract in the summer.

But good news is Chris Barker is ready to pen a new contract at Roots Hall.

GK Glenn Morris also expected to sign a new deal soon.

If Morris turns an offer down then Blues will move for current loan GK Luke Daniels providing Promotion is achieved.(1)(4)Hall will be staying for another season, he feels he owes the club another season after the trial last year.

Grant may go but not until the sumer.

Sturrock wont be quitting, you have made this up. Why would he leave after winning the league ffs?If Hall stays another season the Club risk losing him for nothing. His Deal will be up. Sturrock will bow out on a high on health grounds. And a Director of footie role elsewhere will be less pressurising.Sturrock would only leave on health grounds - that's why Plymouth are looking elsewhere for a new gaffer. Yes, they did want Luggy, but now their targets are Lee Hodges (Truro), Aidy Boothroyd, Mark Robins and Paul Simpson - with Lee Hodges favourite to join if Truro cannot guarantee his wages due to being in financial trouble (irony!)

If Sturrock does go, then Southend's shortlist will be John Ward, Aidy Boothroyd, Richard Money, Ronnie Moore and George Burley.

What's the latest with Southend's new stadium? {Ed003's Note - I dont know anything regarding Southend's new stadium but Carl Fletcher was appointed the permanent manager at Plymouth last week }Southend dont need a shortlist. The next manager will be Coughlan, Sturrock is giving him a role in the trade now before he quits which will be within in the next 2 years.

Hall does run the risk of leaving but its a risk the club need to take to get out of the dire divison which is league 2

Kaka wants out of real madrid and
harry rednap may go in with a shock move imagine that midfield Modric Van der vaart and Kaka(10)(20)He was due to join in the summer, don't know why it didn't happen? do we need him? Need a right winger like marin who wants to come or erikson, spurs fan, but probably going to spain where would kaka play? on the right?First of all eriksen plays more central then right and what source have you got to say he supports spurs.. and marin has said no to you before and has not came back out to say that he has changed his mindI think the only way that would happen is you would have to write a nice letter to father Christmas and be a very good boy all year. And even then you may have to sell all your othr players but you would have a good mid fieldWhat the let's sort this now to the over excited spurs fan not everyone your linked with is a fan of your club end of but having said that who ever posted last comment let's see ur side then cos u can slam spurs but they third best side in pl ,Lol I like spurs and think they could go far and win the prem maybe not this season but maybe next, all I was pointing out that to get kaka is a bit of a dream and if we were to buy such a expensive player then I would rather a striker

Stephen Hughes to sign with Motherwell after the Celtic game. A story doing the rounds on STV(6)(7)He joined CAFC once but we never got to see him, he did well at Coventry by all accounts. As a London lad would he really want to play in Scotland? Good Luck to Motherwell anyway keep the presure up on Septic.

04 Nov 2011 13:19:06
with preston north end only having one fit striker jermaine beckford is coming on loan untill january(7)(21)Bcks am a pne fan i know it wont happen,we will get some like howard from foxesBeckford & Howard won't be going anywhere.....let alone lowly PNE. I know it won't happen I'm a foxes fan! What gives you any right to call pne lowly you muppett it was.nt very long ago you were eating our dust and your club and its millions will do nothing this season.9th in the Championship compared to 11th in League One could be classed as lowly in position. And PNE are hardly taking League One by storm are they? From the last 4 fixtures between the 2 clubs Leicester have won 2, drew 1, lost 1, so there's no dust eating there. Maybe Leicester won't do anything this year what with Sven not having a plan B when the tactics aren't going right thus getting the boot. As for the millions....jealousy is an ugly thing!Fair do.s mate maybe i.m just bitter its hard having a billianaire chairman who.s a skinflint when it comes to running a football club.Football's a funny old game. All teams have their ups and downs. Its what makes footy exciting! Good luck for the season. Remember....its a marathon not a sprint!Cheers bud good luck to you to.Get a room u two, lolIt's called having mutual respect for a fellow football supporter. There are five reasons why this wont happen but hold on, two reasons why it will.

04 Nov 2011 12:50:16

Martin O'Neill will be unvielled as Next leicester manager at press conference at 3pm at the King Power Stadium today(20)(37)Yawn ruled himself out recommeded Keane your in trouble. When did he rule himself out? he has made no comments either way yet . yawnIs O Neill hiding under a blanket then? Its gone three jobby.....COYRsMartin O'Neil will be unveilled at somepoint this weekend. I guarantee it.At this rate hes going to be unveilled on christmas day!The owners reckon someone will be in place before the Leeds game on Sunday and LORO's (yes the charity) have said that a meeting with the directors has been cancelled as they're currently talking to the new manager in London.

Nobody has said it's O'Neil though, wish people would stop making stuff up, a rumour is just that but some no mark having a wet dream is boring. If (and it's still a big if) Martin O'Neill ever comes back into football management it will be with a much bigger team than Leicester City - however much affection he has for them. If you ask me the only job that will tempt MON back would be when Fergiie retires from Old Trafford.Martin o'neil will not take up this job he will stay out off football now its been to long to come back now...@

04 Nov 2011 11:33:44
Lee Clark set to do a U Turn and take the vacant managers job at Championship Leicester City. Huddersfield lining up former Doncaster Manager Dave Penney as replacement at the Galpharm.(10)(31)If u think this is goin to happen then u really do have very serious mental health problems. lol PLEASE get sum help..!FACT Lee was turned down by Leicester - as for "wanting to put an end to the speculation" he took his time didn't he! Rather he was told thanks but no thanks. All this due to the fact that Martin O'Neil IS going to be the next Leicester Manager. It would be a backward step for O'Neil, why would he want that? Unless of course for the money and the payout after the sacking for not getting promoted.FACT...... U wudnt know a FACT if it slaped u around the face wi a wet fish. Why if yor such a big club hav u not got a big name manager in by now. Prob cos either no-one wants it (for various reasons) or u just not as BIG a club as u think ur.??What a load of rubbish. get a grip on reality. the job is obviously not as appealing to people outside leicester as the people inside seem to think. Then he'll do another U turn and get nicked for dangerous driving.

04 Nov 2011 11:02:27
leicester city and southampton will both bid for james wilson bristol citys young centre back in january he put in some very impressive performances in the first ten games of the season but has not featured under the new manager who has stated he needs experiance at the back in the relagation battle(2)(18)I don't think lesta will we have no managerJames Wilson......who?Leicester wont bid for anyone until new manager identifys who he wants so stop posting s:"t

04 Nov 2011 07:02:01
At this rate Poopey will have 15 managers by Saturday....face the facts you fishy boys, onbody wants the job COYR(13)(12)Lol i guess this was meant as some kind of joke but it clearly doesn't make any kind of logical sense.
just because lots of speculation going around doesn't mean we will have 15 managers. and you saying that we will have 15 managers completely counteracts you saying "nobody wants the job".What i am saying is all we keep hearing is all different names being bandied about that will be in place by Saturday, it was said with a touch of irony but i would not expect you to understand that COYRAh yes! Old Jimmy Onbody is a good shout. Would do a sterling job.Im a saints fan and must say that some our fans are total numpties! probably on his breaktime at school. i have heard of jimmy nobody, cracking manager.... good luck with him!

04 Nov 2011 00:13:18
Steve Coppell has been offered a contract at Portsmouth but is set to decline it as he has been told that he can't have an assistant due to their current payroll constraints. He wanted Kevin Dillon to join him.(9)(15)Current payrol constraints? Pmsl do try harder scummer, weve new owners worth a mint. We were the second highest spenders beside leicester in the chapionship the last transfer window. You lot wait till january, your in for a shock!!

Does anyone actually want this job..????I don't claim to know exactly when it will be announced but let me tell you - IT IS HAPPENING at somepoint this weekend - I think he'll be helicoptered in with the match ball before Sunday's game versus Leeds.Oh sweet jebus it gets worse! I'd sooner spend my time arguing the toss with the soton fans, because at least those boys understand football! MON to be choppered in with the match ball - he's not SantaAlmost right - it is going to be Martin O'Neill and its true that he will be unveiled as the new boss but instead of arriving in a helicopter he will be at the top of a pyramid in a motor-cycle display team, producing the match-ball from underneath his crash-helmet.

03 Nov 2011 20:29:45

03 Nov 2011 17:25:21
BIG NEWS JUST ABOUT TO HIT SKY SPORTS NEWS ROY KEANE HAS SIGNED A 3 YEAR DEAL AT LEICESTER CITY(7)(49)So much for a proven manager then.
Let's face it, whoever goes there will be out of work at the end of the season when promotion not achieved. That's why they will not get the best manager for the job.So what is the big news?If thats true then its a shocking appointment,he hasnt achieved anything anywhere hes been,a club the size of the foxes need an expeienced manager, very poor signing,It doesn't seem to be hitting Sky Sports very quickly . . . it couldn't just be more poop could it?Even bigger news keane not leicester manager, numbskullAaaand the sheep fall for some numbskulls wet dream appointment, well done. As for "he's not acheived anything anywhere he's been" - taking Sunderland from 23rd in the Championship to the Premier League in one season doesn't count then i take it?Couldn't keep it up though. Sven had many successes, but not recentHe did some serious damage with money to spend at Ipswich. I hope you like terrible quality football and enjoy being reffered to as Roy Keane's Leicester City by all the media.

03 Nov 2011 16:19:46
Leicester: Roy Keane is now the favourite to be appointed Leicester manager, after Lee Clark ruled himself out of the running.

Chris Coleman, Ian Dowie, Peter Reid and Steve Maclaren are the other names on the clubs shortlist.

Keane wants reassurances over the amount of money available to spend. Although £10 million has been mentioned, this is likely to be only £3-4 million to spend on fees, the rest being used for agents fees, signing on fees and wages.

If Keane says "no", the Foxes will engage with Coleman, Dowie, Reid and Maclaren(10)(26)I can't see any of those mentioned here getting the job . . . can't you start a more exciting rumour? There is no official shortlist! The owners want a manager with a proven record in the Championship and is a big name. None of the 4 you mention is either of those 2.Peter Reid isn't a "big name"? Dime bar.

Reid, Coleman and Maclaren ARE big names.

What you really mean is: you dont want them.

DurReid did well at erm jebus got think about that' coleman nah prefer his mustard to be honest'and as for shhhhhtve thought he did very well at florist shame he left but we are aiming higher we have loads of money for martin dur

03 Nov 2011 15:42:49
Liverpool to sign Adam Johnson (18m) and Gary Cahill (15m) in January! They will also offload a few youngsters on loan to Bolton as part of the deal for Cahill :)(20)(30)Cahill will have 6 months left on his contract... they aint as dumb as u to do dat!Same old scouse dreamer. Why would we pay £15 Milion for Cahill? His contract expires on the Summer. He will go for a couple of million at Christmas or free in the SummerSeems mafe up why sign Johnson when you have Downing? they both play left wing

03 Nov 2011 14:50:26

03 Nov 2011 14:49:40
jamaine becford on lone to brentford(12)(55)Did you know that you have only spelt three words, out of a six word statement, correctly?Should have stayed at Leeds, been she at Everton & Leicester so far, long may this continue. The grass is not always greener

03 Nov 2011 14:10:08
lee clark rules out move to leicester , bbc leeds(34)(9)This is fantastic new for all town fans, I am so pleased that Lee Clark is prepared to see the job through. Lets all now get behind him and all the players to get back where we belong in the championship. Its fantastic news for all leicester fans as well, now we might get a proven managerLol Leicester would have been lucky to get one of the, no scratch that the best young manager in the country. And no, I am not a Huds of Coventry or Derby or nottingham fan. Just plain fact.As i said earlier a proven manager is what leicester need not an up and coming oneIs it 3 seasons he's been trying for promotion? well next season will be the fourthForeign owners in the lower leagues want instant success, sack the manager when it doesn't happen, no stability. The next manager will be thinking when will I get the bullet when they lose a few games. No promotion this season, what's the odds of the new manager being sacked.Funny that he has left it so long before releasing this though! My guess is that Lee Clark has had confirmation that someone else is to be offered the job as he has obviously been happy to have been linked up until today ... expect an appointment soon! "Keane-NO Keane-NO!"Ruling himself out of a job he's not been asked to do, neat trick! Leicester confirmed yesterday that they had interviewed all free agent candidates over the weekend and that a new man will be in place before Leeds on Sunday. MON on Radio Leicester, refused to discuss the Leicester job "on or off the record" so he didn't say it would be him, but he didn't rule it out either, Leicester have done well to keep this under wraps. To the guy who said Lee Clark is the best young manager in the country ive got 1 name for you, Paul Lambert! I have great respect for Clark for the work he did at Norwich as assistant before leaving for a management role, but hes not yet in the same class as Lambert. The facts dont lie, Lamberts record at Norwich (Seasons 2 1/4 Played 111 Won 59 Drew 24 Lost 28 Win percentage 53.15% Back to back Promotions, currently 8th in the Prem)
Yes Clark has similar stats in regards to games, wins etc, but they are all in league 1 and there have been no promotions in the same period. his time will come, but at the moment hes got a lot to do to be mentioned in the same breath as Lambert.

Leeds to sign Almunia on a one month emergency loan deal until Lonergan is back.

Paul Rachubka will never play for Leeds again(39)(21)Leeds to sign Chris Weale on loanChris Weale? Does he play for Leicester City? Why would Grayson go for Chris Weale when he's looking for a 'keeper to play on Sunday, against.....Leciester!I thought West Ham got AlmuniaAlmunia's loan at WHU is up, he returned to ArsenalAlmunia is a good keeper should also try get sorensen from stoke. rachubka is ste dont no why he let kasper go should of kept him and got lonergan for cover for kasperDon't you mean Aluminium to put across the goal ? Oh I do like to be beside the seaside !Lonergan is better than SchmeichelNo i heard leeds have absolute faith in Rachuba, and are prepared to give him time to rediscover his form, its just a blip reallyI remember you were all so keen to get rid of schmeichel aswell. bet you wished you had sense now leeds fans

Southampton have made a £300,000 bid for Bristol City's 22 year old defender James Wilson, who has impressed a number of Premier League scouts.(20)(19)How can they sign anyone? January is the transfer window so unless he goes on loan until then they cant buy him.You can bid for players now for januaryI think you would have to add a 0 to that figure before we would consider selling one of our best young players. You can buy whenever you want, but the transfer must take place in the window - understand? He'll be on his way to Saints,i'm a City fan
but at the minute we've got nothing and there's no reason he would want to stay.
Good luck to him if it comes off.I heard the same thing he played for city reserves against the saints and was very impressive according to an insider at the saints he is seen as sueplus at ashton gate in there dog fight against relegation as they want to bring in some experiance at the back

Leicester are set to papoint Neil Lennon as manager after a compensation bid for the Celtic boss was agreed late last night. Lennon has told the Leicester board that he would like his first signing to be Bobby Zamora from Fulham. Zamora is keen to leave Craven Cottage after falling out with manager Martin Jol. It is unknown whether the England striker would drop down a division but sees the future at Leicester brighter then the London side.(15)(41)What load of carp full stopSo much speculation around about who the next Leicester manager is going to be but Lennon doesn't fit the bill of having someone who is 'proven at Championship level' as stated by the boardThe leicester strikers are good enough dont need anyone else. The spl isn't even league one levelYes its not league one level, its a lot better, and lennon will leave when he gets sacked,he is a numpty...a red pill for you tonight i think, and no pointy objects

Portsmouth are set to appoint Lee Bradbury as their new manager from Bournemouth. Bradbury's first signing will be 18 yeard old striker Jared Sims. Sims has interested Premier League teams but Pompey look set to bag the teenager.(3)(24)That's just wishful thinking.

Swansea City have targeted four attackers to join in January with Bredan Rodgers conceding 'other teams will sign strikers so they will need to aswell'. Johnny Russell of Dundee United is interesting the City boss and could link up in Wales if they manage to agree a fee, which is expected to be around £2 million. Manolo Gabbiadini is interesting Rodgers and currently plays for Italian top flight side Atalanta. The striker is only 19 and a loan with a view to a permanent deal is likely with a £5 million signature probable in the summer. Apostolos Vellios of Everton, who hasn't played much since joining the Merseyside club, will join Swansea on loan until the end of the season as David Moyes looks to loan the Greek out so he can get more first team experience in the Premier League. Finally, the last striker on Rodgers' radar is Jon Walters of Stoke. City boss Tony Pulis does not want Walters to leave but if Swansea can come up with a fee around £10 million, the attacker may well move to Wales, if personal terms can be agreed.(5)(19)More moyes magic he just cant stand strikers!!!!!!! {Ed025's Note - thats why our motto begins with.... NILLol, Swansea most certainly do not have £10 million to spend on John Walters in January, or anyone else for that matter. Hes not worth close to that, and you couldnt afford it, stupid rumour. As a Swansea fan they won't spend big in January as the chairman is running a tight ship and possibly there's no need to spend big just make some shrewd signing instead. It would be a dream to be able to spend 10 million on a player but certainty not Jon Walters even though I do rate him.

Tottenham and Inter Milan have both enquired about the possibility of taking Liverpool midfielder Lucas to their respective club.(4)(25)Spurs are looking at Lucas Moura da Silva of Sao Paulo not Liverpool's LucasI think youll find its the one from liverpoolActually, I think you will find it is the one from Sao Paulo.

Both Inter and Spurs have enquired about himIt's the wonderkid from Sao Paulo not the dodgy misfit from Liverpool. Why would Spurs want Liverpool's Lucas? They've got Parker, Sandro and Huddleston who are ALL better players than Lucas. It'll be the Sao Paulo Kid.

KROFrom Liverpool ha I think you might have that one a little wrong.Psht about thema ll being better than him.... lucas is the best dm in the prem atm!

Steve Coppell to take over as manager of Portsmouth FC. Coppell was at Crystal Palace watching Pompey and then had a meeting at Fratton Park yesterday with the owners and David Lampitt (CEO). This was confirmed by Sam Matterface on talksport last night. Coppell has been told what funds are available in Januray for transfers and he is excited about working with a big club with a decent amount of talent in the squad.(20)(16)Good luck. We're still recovering from the Steve Coppell debacle with the likes of Nicky Hunt stuck in the reserves on massive wages.Big club, decent amount of talent?Coppell makes his 89th comeback eh, i give it three weeks before he bottles it and runs off again.

03 Nov 2011 06:29:10
Steve Coppell will be named Portsmouth manager today, he will be give funds to get them promoted this season(15)(19)Thats if he does not quit after 5 minits.Promoted this season cant see it haDecent track record and with a reasonable amount of money in Jan, could well get Pompey to the Play offs

Rumour has it that Damien Comolli was spotted in attendance at the Ajax CL match today to scout Lorenzo Ebecilio, who is valued for the possibility to bring wing speed to Anfield.(5)(5)Wing Speed? That's a drain clearance company isn't it?What to replace Downing!
