Carey is coming back to celtic, i think he'll get a bit of first team football this year, as for ferry it looks like he could be making the loan deal permanent, i think sheridan is the loan deal, with caddis being signed permanently.
If Celtic sign Campbell, which is a high probability, then I don;t think THompson will go anywhere, he'd learn too much form Campbell. and TBH i've not heard any rumours of JT going on loan, but who knows, it could be a good move

Roy Hodgson will be approached by Liverpool on Friday and expect a deal to be thrashed out across the weekend. Hodgson is contracted with the BBC over the summer to do commentry for the World Cup so his representitive will be negotiating terms for him and he will fly back towards the end of next week to sign his contract and be presented to the media. The compensation amount will be £2.5million as Liverpool would activate a clause in his contract. With Mauricio Pellegrino, Xavi Valero and Paco De Miguel leaving, Roy Hodgson will use all the compensation amount from these coaches to sign his own. Liverpool have already insisted that they want to keep Sammy Lee at the club as assistant and Hodgson is more than happy with this. Ray Lewington will be appointed first team coach while Mike Kelly will join as goalkeeping coach and Mark Taylor will join to front a new medical team at Anfield where, after so many injuries over the past 2 seasons, the board feel a change in the medical system is necessary.
All this will happen within the next 2 weeks and Liverpool have a Europa League qualifier in July and want the management team in place and if possible, any new signings ready for the new season

Paul Connolly will sign for Leeds from Derby Either Tommorow or Friday.
Leeds are also after Gary Hooper. Hooper wants to join Leeds but Leeds and Scnthorpe are yet to agree a fee.
If he wanted to go to Middlesborough the deal would of been complete weeks ago.

Actually the FACT is that Leeds haven't got a pot to piss in and can't compete for any player against 80% of championship clubs. Hooper won't move for under seven figures and Leeds just don't have that money to spend. You Leeds supporters have short memories – what happened last time you over spent ? Want that again ? No. Neither does Bates. You'll have to wait a bit longer yet to get back into the big time – get in the queue.

in my opinion we need to spend on couple of defenders and a good experienced midfielder who can control the midfield play and rest will be loans/ free's eg paynter

i have heard some beleivable and many unbeleivable prospects of loan players,
ridiculous being owen, Kakuta even edgar davids :S
but i think they will perhaps sign some youngsters from the top english clubs, i'd like to think danny rose as he scored a great goal against arsenal but i hear that Obertan (beleive it or not) could be a prospect, and why not? also some not so much youngsters but perhaps alan smith will be a loan or daryl murphy (i read this in the herald) even nugent on loan which i heard in the same paper.
now about ur question about the extra £5million, this i am still not sure about but i am not too sure, i think rangers have already been given this money therefore they will keep it and get a very large transfer kitty! and realistically they will be signing if anyone 2 strikers, wages may be quite large but remember that we have lost a few wages already meaning that our wage budget is now larger too!

Is there any truth at all in the martin petrov to rangers rumour? if so wots ur source? would love to see it but think its a bit far fetched!!
It all stems from last year when Rangers tried to get Petrov on loan, he had a visit to Murray Park and Ibrox and was impressed but we couldn't afford the wages.
If he takes a drop in wage, its possible Rangers could afford him as there will be no transfer fee, but after all the financial problems Rangers won't break the wage structure in place, I would love to see him playing for Rangers, a class player

I hope this gets posted, as I love this website, the rumours, the ones that make you go .. "not on your nellie would that happen." or "wow. you know, that could genuinly happen!!", but, onto my post.
These are not rumours, just a genuine concern for my beloved club.
S.A.F has over and over stated, that he does'nt feel that United were THAT far off last year, and, as such feels that we only need a tweek (the fact that United lost the most amount games in the premiership for a long time!), and as such, if chelski were on the form they usually show, we actually would of lost the premiership by alot more, and IF all united fans were honest with themselves, we should of been 3rd, maybe 4th. Its just the fact that other clubs didn't seem to want to win the league.
So, S.A.F believes that we werent that far behind, when infact, we were very far. We had some great upsides (Valencia, Nani) but we genuinly need more creativity in the midfield, and someone to honestly help Rooney (I would keep Owen as he will always pop up with the BIG goal.. anyone remember City?), and Berbatov, is, unfortunatly, a medium sized fish in a very big pond (am I the only person who feels he peaked at Spurs?) and the youngsters we have bought, are no way ready for the big time yet.
So, all the posters on here, bring up the same names, the same budgets, and S.A.F has repeatedly stated that he has a budget, but won't be held ransom to overpriced players (NB: gone are the days of United spending £30m on 1 player), and will be looking at the more "cost effective" options to him, i.e free, and last year of contract, which, seriously limits the type of player we can attract!!
Before I get shot down by those who state, that he says he has money, but dosent, why would he lie? Some say he is the only manager in a strong enough position to openly critisize the owners, but does anyone remember the ongoing battle with the coolimore mafia – that almost cost him his job, so, he won't be going through that polava again!
Therefore, I genuinly fear that we will see zero signings coming in, Rooney will be expected to shoulder the burden AGAIN, and, we cannot even compete for free signings (J.Cole – lets be brutal, he will stay in London, its nothing to do with him, his good lady will not want to move now Joe Junior is here!) and we cannot compete on a financial footing on good players (Silva, Gourcouf, Dezko etc!), and the players we have signed, whilst good for the future, are not ready for the hear and now, and, we do need to think about that to

SAF has stated he may buy 1 or 2 players but that is it. He also said he believes in his youth policy and therefore will not tinker with the team to much. Don't know who he is after because he surprises everyone every season with who he brings in. So no point in guessing

Come on mate, I don;t like knocking peoples rumours, but that team just aint gonna happen, for starters Boruc will highly unlikely be there next year (although I hope he stays) HInkel will highly unlikely be there, and on top of that I've put conservative estimates on what the wages could be for these players, beside their names, and without bonuses your looking at nigh on 210,000 additional wages a week, we simply couldn't afford that, don;t get me wrong, they are legitimate targets, however we won't be signing all of them, maybe 2/3 at most.
All this post has done is give Tigger and WATP the chance to spout their repetitive nonsense about the players being rangers targets, and we can't afford them etc. and to be honest mate I can't take anymore of their childish nonsensical posts.
Anyways mate, I do hope your right, but highly doubt it, but don;t worry cause lenny is gonna have Parkhead "ROCKIN" again

Yes, it's what I've been told from someone who has a 86% accuracy rate.
I also hope this deal goes through. I've just watched the youtube videos and it's pretty clear that he's gonna be a star. I've even told all of my mates about this one, so it better happen now (and I'm sure it will).
I can also confirm, like many others already have, that Steve Simonsen will be unveiled tomorrow. The fee is £450,000.

Joe Cole probably will sign for Arsenal as he has been released along with Ballack from Chelsea. This is not definate but it is thought that Cole will be a replacement for Fabregas at Arsenal. Fabregas has already had one bid turn down by Arsenal from his home town club, Barcelona.
Koscienly is probably going to sign for Arsenal after the World Cup as Mr Wenger has flew off already with his scouts. Coquelin and Traore will go the other way as part of the deal. He would sign for around £8m as a £6m bid was rejected.
Lyon have dropped out on the race to sign Gourcuff so Arsenal now have a open door to sign him. He will only sign if Fabregas leaves. If Fabregas does go expect Gourcuff to come to the Emirates immediatly for a replacement. If he does sign it will be for around £21.8m.
Yesturday it was confirmed that Fulham FC had completed the signing of Arsenal's Phillipe Senderos. The 25–year–old enjoyed 7 years at the club and is grateful for all of his support. Better news for Arsenal though, this transfer means that the Koscienly deal is more possible.
As Senderos has left expect Sol Campbell to stay another season at his beloved Arsenal, eventhough Niel Lennon has been confirmed as Celtic manager. Sol had recently said that he would wait for Neil Lennon to come before making his decision.
Joe Hart of Manchester City will probably not sign this summer as his club needs him for the forthcoming season. Arsene has been reported by saying that he will definatly NOT sign a goalkeeper this summer! IS HE MAD??! Although it is said that when he is at the World Cup watching France, his scouts will be watching especially on Hugo Lloris.

Given that he's spent the best part of a year out injured and is approaching 32, Fulham (providing they met his wages) could take him back for a nominal fee. Hodgson and the board however may not be so keen to bring him back (there was some animosity on his departure from Fulham). Eduardo on loan is a non–starter. Doncaster Rovers Update
Sean O'Driscoll will complete the signing of Tom Kennedy this week, finally, after last minute scares from Sheffield United and Leicester City.
Also this week on returning from holiday, O'Driscoll will attempt to wrap up a deal for Slovakia centre forward Pavol Jurco. Doncaster were said to be very interested in him last season as he can play upfront, behind the striker or either wing. Very fast and Tricky.
Negotiations with Billy Sharp are ongoing and no nearer to a conclusion. Developments could happen when Billy returns from his honeymoon at the end of the week.
Remember, Brett Pitman is already agreed at 350k and will be announced next week.
Rovers are still in the market for another Goalkeeper, central defender and central midfielder as well as 2 strikers if Sharp is signed or not.

I've heard that Ipswich are holding out for £12 million for Conner Wickham plus Giovanni Dos Santos and Kyle Naughton on a rolling loan from Tottenham. Spurs have spoken to the player's dad and will finalise the deals in July. The sticking point could be Dos Santos who is wanted by Besiktas and Sociedad.
I love Connor Wickham but this deal, although it is seems a bit much, would be a winner for me. I had heard that Ipswich were looking to take Andros Townsend on loan from Tottenham, so if it were £12 million, a year's long loanback for Wickham, and Gio and Townsend on loan, I would take this deal in a heartbeat. This would more than fund the purchase of Michael Chopra from Cardiff (current price £4.2 million) and enable Ipswich to make further purchases/fund the salary of free agents) to help Roy Keane bring the mighty Town to the Premier League.

Not heard anything new over the past few days, however now that Lennon has officially been named manager, expect to see Ledley and Campbell sign pretty soon, I also stand by what I said last week, I don't expect to see Jimmy Bullard at Parkhead, pity, I would have liked him up here as well.
There's also a rumour floating around about Celtic interested in Charlton captain Nicky Bailey, but I don't know how credible that one is.

Hi . Regarding Transfer Rumours of Arsenal FC.
Firstly,
Goalkeeper:
Stop posting rumours about Arsenal buying players like Joe Hart, Ochoa Lloris and so on. Wenger has already made up his mind and would make Wojciech Szczesny or Vito Mannone his No.1 in a few years time. So, he would probably sign Mark Schwarzer or Robert Green ( Don't rate him ) to groom the youngsters. Would love to see Buffon but i highly doubt it.
Midfielders:
Fabregas would probably leave and I would not be surprised if Wenger decides not to buy Gorcuff to replace him. He would probably put Nasri in the middle with Song and Diaby.
Joe Cole WILL sign for the Gunners due to the fact he wants to stay in London after being released by Chelsea.
Strikers:

Charlie Austin will not be moving to Cardiff, contrary to media reports.
The young striker has been advised to 'stay well clear of their obnoxious xenophobic anti–English fans', and to follow up interest from Nottingham Forest.
Forest will sell Earnie back to Cardiff after they sell Chopra to Ipswich. Forest have agreed to loan Joe Garner to Swindon as 'compensation' and play a pre–season against them.

Mate, I don't know too much about most of the rumours you have posted but I would like to correct just one of them. Heffernan has today signed for Sheffield Wednesday on a 2–year deal. He was only on loan with us for a couple of months late last season.

Hadn't realised about Heffernan, so apologies there.
What I had been told by a Gas head was that Rovers were signing Heffernan and going for Pericard and/or Akinfenwa.
I guess that means they'll now go for Akinfenwa as Pericard is now staying at Swindon, as Danny Wilson has now said that he'll involve him more in the team next season.

This is gonna sound a bit "yeah yeah", but a friend of a close friend works for Cole's agent, David Geiss.
Apparently the "official word" is that Cole hasnt decided where he will play next season and no official approach has been made from any team to sign him.

Lots of talk surrounding transfers at Internazionale. Most of it complete rubbish! Benitez has inherited a side which has all they need to retain the Serie A title and challenge again in the Champions League. Minimal changes will be made and subject to rumour – there isn't an endless pot of gold at the club! Around £25m is available for strengthening the squad, any additional budget will come from player sales.
First in will be Javier Mascherano for £18–20m. Maicon will be sold to Real Madrid for approx £17m so the RB position will need filling. Benitez's first task will be to offload the likes of Patrick Vieira, Marco Matterazzi and Dejan Stankovic due to their age and Mario Balotelli because he's a disrespective idiot. Up front, Pandev, Eto'o and Sneijder will be first choice so only back up is required. Should they manage to get Robinho on the cheap or in an exchange deal for Balotelli however, then he may be given the green light. However, Benitez's buys will mainly be squad players. Arsenal will make michael ballack an offer to arrive on a free transfer to the Emirates. The deal will be worth about £80,000 per week and he will as Wenger sees it operate as the connection between Song and Fabregas in the central 3 in the arsenal midfield.
Despite a reasonably high wage offer it does seem though that Ballack will rejct this offer due to the wage drop from his £120,000 per week deal at Chelsea and the fact that some teams in Dubai (Al Wasl and Al Shabab) will offer him wages in excess of £100,000 per week (+ there is no tax there so it is the equivilent of £200,000 per week in England). But despite these huge offers from Dubai expect Ballack to reurn to his beloved Germany to either Hamburg SV or Bayern Leverkusen with his prefferd destenation, Bayern Munich, not requiring him due to the top class form of Van Bommel so one of these two rich german clubs will do there best to snap him up.
Regarding the Joe Cole saga it does seem that he would rather stay in London as he has a settled family and is happy living there and has a good hting going with many charities in London. So it seems as though he will either go to Tottenham/Arsenal. OUt of the two it is more likely that it will be totenham as Arsenal have many wide players and hissigning would be expensive wage–wise in an are were Arsenal already have a lot of depth (nasi, arshavin, walcott, vela, wilshere)

Charlie Austin will not be moving to Cardiff, contrary to media reports.
The young striker has been advised to 'stay well clear of their obnoxious xenophobic anti–English fans', and to follow up interest from Nottingham Forest.
Forest will sell Earnie back to Cardiff after they sell Chopra to Ipswich. Forest have agreed to loan Joe Garner to Swindon as 'compensation' and play a pre–season against them.

For all the Leeds fans, I work at the YP on Wellington St and whilst i'm not a football reporter, I am on the Sports team. I do therefore hear all the transfer rumours and official press releases before most. I can tell you now truthfully and honestly that the flurry of posts on here over the last few weeks are schoolboy stuff with no foundation whatsoever. Leeds Utd have not announced any new signings, there is nothing in the diary this week at all re: scheduled press releases. Also, I can assure you that Alan Smith will not be returning to Elland Road. We simply cannot afford his wages. I know Smudger through friends and he is settled in Newcastle. He mentioned that he would like to see out his career there and he has a lovely home so cannot see this happening no matter how much the fans would like it. He was also dubious to the reception he would get at Elland Rd since he left for Man Utd all those years ago.
Adam Le Fondre has not been in contact with anyone at Leeds and there is no truth in the Andy O Brien rumours either. I know what Grayson's remit is for this summer and for all of you getting giddy about big signings, it simply won't happen. He must stabilise the club in the Championship (top half finish) during 2010/11 to be able to invest in a promotion push in 2011/12. In the meantime, Bates is looking for further investment in the club from local sources and overseas. This has not amounted to anything substantial as of yet. The club cannot afford to spend big money – Blackpool's success on a shoestring has simply inspired the directors to continue with their 'safety first' approach.

Contradictory to what Ancelotti previously said, "Two or three players coming in and two or three going out, " there are actually four players who are leaving Chelsea and these players i thought would leave Ballack, Deco, Joe Cole, Ferreira, Belletti and Carvalho. But either way I am happy that they are leaving, they contributed when it was required of them and now in a club like Chelsea their expertise were not required anymore.
One of the reasons why Abramovich hired Ancelotti was that he was a Wenger in Italy. He spent less, but produced the results. Thus I am not expecting expensive players like Aguero and Pato to come in. Even if this is announced, "..one marquee signing, " and i think that could be Marek Hamsik. Chelsea doesn't need anymore defenders, what they need is probably one or two mid–fielders and a young attacker. A young attacker can be Andy Carroll, as recently rumoured. Marek Hamsik might come in and Yaya toure as well. Only Hamsik and Carrol coming in could be a possibility too because Essien for the next season will appear as a new signing, and with the form Miroslav Stoch has played in FC Twente he can be a good addition to the team too.

Charlie Austin will not be moving to Cardiff, contrary to media reports.
The young striker has been advised to 'stay well clear of their obnoxious xenophobic anti–English fans', and to follow up interest from Nottingham Forest.

Joe Cole has 4 realistic options:
stay in London (his preferred choice) and sign for Arsenal or Tottenham for way less than the £120k he was seeking at Chelsea
Relocate north and sign for Man Utd, although Utd will also be unable and unwilling to offer the money his agent was originally looking for. Milner however is the first choice as their multi–role midfielder. Cole's injuries worry Sir Alex and with Carrick, Hargreaves and Scholes all familiar with the treatment table, he may be seen as too much of a risk.
Take the biggest risk and move to Real Madrid reuniting him with Mourinho.
He will NOT move to Man City – Cole will be 29 in November and he knows that City are at least 2 yrs away from challenging for a Premier League title and even further from being a serious contender for the Champions League. Whilst City could offer him the wages, they cannot offer him the pedigree of a top class team. The situation at Liverpool is the same, with the managerial situation still to be resolved, lack of investment from Hicks and Gillette and just the Europa League to play for, Cole will steer well clear of Anfield.

Firstly we had a whole month or two of deluded LFC fans posing Higuain was a dead cert to arrive and guess what.hes just signed a new deal at RM. now there is a load of ramblings about J.Cole signing for LFC on 1 july. This again is deluded as no player would currently consider LFC with no manager, no CL footabll and no hope next season. You won't even come in 6th next year and Everton will finish above you.
The only real possibilites currently posted on this site are –
Gourcuff – Arsenal only if Cesc leaves
Dzeko – Man U (Mclaren interested in Berbatov and a swap deal could be on the cards)

To be honest the above are only the realisitc moves and none before WC, following that it will be very quiet window cos every player worth his salt will have doubled his value and FIFA due to crack down on debt and model clubs on Bundeliga Rules. Leeds have made 2 signings at the Malta Conference.
Paul Connolly will be announced later today, and the loan signing of Frances Coquelin from Arsenal to be announced toward the end of the week, probably Friday.
Arsenal representative offered 2 players to Leeds, Coquelin and Emmanuel–Thomas, but they chose Coquelin.
Leeds also had a bid of £700k turned down for Gary Hooper – Scthorpe want £1.5m minimum, Leeds don't want to pay 7 figures.
They are considering an approach for Jason Scotland if they can't get Hooper, who will demand a fee of about £750k.

Firstly, one of the first big signings of the summer will be Real Madrid signing Argentinian Angel Di Maria for around 30 million euros
Chelsea have released Joe Cole who is probably bound for Arsenal, Man Utd or Tottenham. Ballack will weigh up his options but don't be surprised if Mourinho comes in with an offer from Madrid as he sees Ballack as a free solution, if not Germany or the UAE.
Chelsea will attempt to replace Cole and Ballack, not with Schweinsteiger but with Diego who has struggled with Juventus and may now be forced out because he cannot play in a 4–4–2 implemented by new manager Del Neri, Chelsea's interest dates back some way while Scheweinsteiger is considered unsellable by Bayern.
Barca will continue their chase for Fabregas, they wanted a deal done before the WC but Arsenal's stance has not changed. Barca's valuation of Fabregas stands at around 35 million euros which is absolutley ridculous, he is easily worth 60–70 million Pounds and Barca know this but still hope to pressure Arsenal by claiming it is the player's desire to move. Arsenal won't budge unless their price–tag is met.
Arsenal will look to wrap up Konscielny for around 8 million + the loan of Coquelin and Traore. Due to the departure or Silvestre, Gallas and possibly Campbell they will need more in the defensive department (Wenger has said so himself) He is looking for another right–footer and a left–footer, Sakho or Diakhate will be the left–footer both costing somewhere in the reigon of 8–12 million. As for the right–footer it could be anyone out of Subotic/Tasci/Taylor/Cahill/Zapata/VDW etc.
Their GK search will go on, Lloris is a no–go, Neuer a possiblity but still unlikely (as price will probably rise after WC), Frey will probably stay with Viola so Schwarzer is looming as real option at 3–4 million or no keeper at all.
If Barca manage to stump up the money for Fabregas, Expect one of:
Gourcuff (25 million euros)
Ozil (15–20 million)
Kheidra (10–15 million)

Gourcuff and Ozil are the obvious 2, Wenger has tracked both for some time and will consider them as future stars but Sami Kheidra will replace Ballack in the Germany squad and Wenger considers him a athletic and capable player of replacing Fabregas in the Arsenal team.

Roy Hodgson has just agreed terms with Liverpoll!
It will be a management due with Roy as manager and kenny as a very hands on director.
Liverpool will now approach Fulham again with an offer of around 2m pounds to release Hodgson.
Liverpool will also recurve around 6m from inter as rafa is insisting on taking his backroom staff with him.

I'd love to believe your rumours about Steven Taylor, Gary Cahil, Joe Cole and Paul Robinson because more English players in the team would be brilliant to see but I have a few issues:
1) Taylor/Cahill will cost the earth and Wenger would have to dig deep into his pocket as each would cost over £12m and as we've put in 2 bids now for Koscileny (sp?) for around £5m and £8m, one of those would be bench–warming behind Tommy V and himself which I couldn't see happening. Could happen if all four of Gallas/Senderos/Silvestre/Campbell leave.
2) Joe Cole. Let's be honest, he would fit nicely into the Arsenal line–up on the left hand side, but unless Fabregas leaves, the wage structure will be well and truly smashed by bringing him in. Cesc is on £120k a week, and Cole is commanding £90–100k. Unless he drops his wage demands or Cesc leaves this deal is dead in the water.
3) Robinson. He had ONE great season at Blackburn and before that is prone to a few hapless mistakes ala Almunia/Fabianski. And don't forget where he was at before Blackburn I don't think he'd be the man for the no1 spot.
4) "Senderos – £3m"
He left on a free yesterday. This might leave it open for Schwarzer to come the other way.

LEEDS United have emerged as front–runners to sign Andy O'Brien after Newcastle boss Chris Hughton appeared to ruled out a St James' Park return for the Wanderers defender.
It was widely rumoured O'Brien could be heading back to Tyneside, following Hughton's loan enquiry back in January.

James McArthur's agent has scotched talk Leeds United have made a big–money bid to sign the talented Tartan midfielder.
The Whites have been linked with a move for the in–demand schemer along with a host of other clubs south of the border, including Premiership duo Wigan Athletic and Birmingham City.
Recent reports suggested Leeds were aiming to hijack a move by Wigan for the player after tabling a counter–bid of £1m with add–ons after an £800,000 offer from the Latics, where the 22–year–old enjoyed a successful three–day trial just before the end of last season.
On talk of a Leeds bid, agent Willie McKay said: "I've not had any contact myself and I don't think Hamilton have had either.
"I know Ken (Bates) because I lived in Monaco and he was obviously there, but there's nothing really there. The only thing I'd say is that he's a good pal of Robert Snodgrass and he'll be at the same level as Snodgrass and is a very good player. He could play in the Premier League all day long. There's plenty of interest in him, although no–one has actually made a formal bid.
"He's a box–to–box central midfield player and can play anywhere in the midfield and he can hold his own in most sides and he can also score a goal or two.

I last posted in February to say that LFC had been bought by new owners – plural. Although the timeline has changed, the owners have not. It is now a matter of DAYS – not weeks or months, until the news breaks.
The new owners initally thought they had a deal in Feb but this broke down over Hick's (his demands over percentage profits from the new stadium and NOT his asking price). The new owners walked away and in April were approached by Purslow. This brough them back to the table.
Now the really interesting bit is that the negotiations DO NOT INVOLVE Hicks or Gillett. The current board is working on behalf of RBS who have removed the Yanks from the equation in the last few weeks. This is evident in the lack of response from Hicks over Rafa's departure and many other things too. The deal is don e– as due diligence was carried out in the period between Xmas 09 and February 1st 2010. I know this because I helped carry it out.

This has been going on for many years and this the reason why the tax bill HAS to be paid. 28 Million tax bill and if petitioned could rise to 50. Total debt with the tax bill is in the region of 58 million. I can promise you all this aint attached to Murray Holdings. The guy would not leave a paper trail to incriminate his livelyhood. Also please grow up about this rich arab guy. There is no takeover and the only person who had firm interest was Ellis, and that dwindled out bacause of the demand to pay the the tax bill with no extension. To all those idiots on here that keep saying that Liverpool Football Club has been sold it has not.
I work for a regulator in London who would have to agree to everything in the sale documents due to the involvement of RBS and Barclays. We have not seen them but have been put on alert because RBS are thinking of calling in the loan due to the problems it is causing.
The club has in fact been in administration now for several weeks which is why Martin Broughton was made Acting CEO

In a National Financial Newspaper tommorrow, it WILL be confirmedThat Kenny Dalglish has OFFICIALLY put his name forward for the position of manager of LFC. Now, by all means he hasn't got the job (as roy Hodson is due to be interviewed later this week) but, i personally want King Kenny back to put some pride back into my club!!
The only thing going against King Kenny, is the length of time he has been out of football management (2000 Celtic) and a current working manager might be prefered. Yet KK is hoping with the weight of the supporters behind him, and installing IAN RUSH as his no 2, it might be enough to return him to the hotseat at Anfield.

This whole takeover bid will be going through within the next few weeks. I have contacts within the hierachy and LFC and know for a fact that the Sheikh will be taking over. He has wanted rid of Benitez as he been told that rafa lost the respect of the dressing room at anfield.

I last posted in February to say that LFC had been bought by new owners – plural. Although the timeline has changed, the owners have not. It is now a matter of DAYS – not weeks or months, until the news breaks.

Now the really interesting bit is that the negotiations DO NOT INVOLVE Hicks or Gillett. The current board is working on behalf of RBS who have removed the Yanks from the equation in the last few weeks. This is evident in the lack of response from Hicks over Rafa's departure and many other things too. The deal is don e– as due diligence was carried out in the period between Xmas 09 and February 1st 2010. I know this because I helped carry it out.
The fat racist moron at Kraptalk is partially right – think antelopes – but he doesn't know the half of it. I do – and the reason I do is that I am DIRECTLY involved.
You can scoff all you like but this is the truth. And what I'm talking about is TWO of the richest men on the planet coming together to buy into LFC – men who already work together on many other projects. This is a deal which will make Man City and Chelsea weep – never mind the Utd mob.

Thanks for the above info but i will not believe anything that is palced on any rumour site( although this one is the best out the lot so i do read everyday) I just read out of habit now i think. I don't think there is ant sigings in the pipe line as having no manager sort of hinders that part of the club, would be a waste of money to buy anyone there the new manager come in not like them and ship them out at a lose. I do think tho that when the new owners come in (which i can see being rather sooner than Hick let on) the all transfers will be done in quick time to avoid entering in to a bidding war with another club. but like i said before till its on the LFC website I am not going to believe it. The recent stories about Dalglish walking away from the selection process because he doesn't agree with the candidates is partially incorrect.
Dalglish has removed himself from the panel because he wishes to be considered for the position himself. Having looked at the available candidates, he feels he could do a better job himself.
However, the club will be speaking to Hodgson within the next couple of days anyway.
So it's wait and see time. I hope KD is appointed as he is the only man who can motivate the team and the fans during this difficult period.

Liverpool will appoint the manager in the next 2 weeks they know who they want and once the Rafa backroom staff have moved to Italy the new manager will bring in his own team to replace those people who move with Rafa as repoted in the press
Although this came a some sort of shock to most Liverpool fans it had been long agreed that Rafa would leave this summer as new owners wanted their own man in the Job and a removal of everyone on the board who was working with the Yanks
this will all start to take shape in the next two weeks and after the world cup you will see both Kuyt and Javi move to Join Rafa. This was the real reason in why niether player confirmed new contracts at Anfield before the end of the last season the Fee will be around £40m Euro's
Other fringe players like Yossi Reire Insua and Babel will all be moved on and the new owners will add to the money that is brought in to add the quality players that will be needed to win the Prem
Although things look very black at the moment for Liverpool fans this won't last beyond the World Cup the new owners are ready to cherry pick the players they want from the World Cup stage money will not be a problem to them just sit back let the doubters have there day before the last laugh is on them

Rumours are gaining traction about Smith coming back to Leeds. I really hope they're not true, he'd divide opinion and be on too much of a wedge. Much rather we spent the money on Hooper. If we don't spend some money this summer (Bates announced tonight that we weren't prepared to match Burnley's bid for Sharp) then Bates has a lot of explaining to do. Philipe Senderos has made a move across London to Fulham thusforth freeing up Mark Schwarzer to move in the opposite direction to Arsenal, I expect this to be announced after the Socceroos finish the WC. The Defenders that will sign are Laurent Koscielny, Gary Cahill and Steven Taylor. Fabregas will stay one more season, if Arsenal win nothing then Fabregas will join Barcelona or Real Madrid. Perhaps you need to learn how to read: Keogh and Surman have not been released by Wolves. They were used as examples of players who MAY seek to leave if they are unwilling to be third or four choice in their position.
