Football Rumours Archive July 09 2009

Use our rumours form to send us football transfer rumours.

Any sound Everton fan will tell you that we have no chance of signing Ashley Young. Pennant for free would be a bargain and would add some pace and width and leave us some cash to strengthen elsewhere. Silly money for Lescott wouldn't be a disaster, Moyes would spend it wisely.

Somebody entioned Lucho Gonzalez moving to Liverpool. Afraid not, he's already signed for Marseille.
Burnley to sign Hamiltons Easton for around 1.3M

also to sign Stokes Liam Lawrence for 700,000 this week
DEVASTATING news for me and my fellow Hibs fans!

Derek Riordan WILL, once more, be heading along the M8 to Glasgow!

But NOT, as many seem to think, to Ibrox. He WILL re–sign for Celtic to team up with Tony Mowbray.

He feels that "this time" he will make a success of things and that Mowbray will not leave him wasting away on the bench as Strachan did.

Celtic are set to join cardiff and coventry in the race for sammy clingan with a player plus cash bid involving willo flood, norwich need this deal to go through before they can meet derbys asking price of 500k for liam dickinson, gunn is still interested in alan lee but is waited for warnock to get bored of playing games and any signing would probaly be into the new season.
The rafa thing that will really pee fergie off is the signing of either

Tevez or RVN

not aguero
  Everton fc

lesscot has more or less left everton. 18 million is the price tag. this has NOTHING to do with everton getting jo on loan. jo will be on a two year loan contract with man city paying the bills.

another heavy rumour is joaquin coming in from valencia to fill the gap on the right for everton. we have also signed anton peterlin and mustafi and they will join andy holdens reserve squad.
rumours about cahill leaving are untrue as reports saying he was going abroad. he is not training with everton because of him playing in the confed cup so he gets a few weeks more rest.

To the guy who said this Australia and Cahill didn't play in the conf cup
Can everyone step back take a deep breath and take a look at themselves Nani is not going anywhere Sir Alex sees him as Ronaldo's replacement and will give him his chance to step out of (his) shadow. Obertan is being signed for the future not the present, Sir Alex will not sign another striker unless a great oppourtunity arises, he will sign a few more players to sure up his midfield as they were outclassed by barca. The Names he has identified for this are from Essien, Modric, Yaya Toure and Xavi/Iniesta. And to all who keep bringing up Dodo, he is already signed as of July 2nd for £6m and will join up with United in January due to work permit problems.

Red Insider (Hope it helps)
Arsenal are set 2 miss out on the signing of Felipe Melo after it was revealed that Fioretina would accept a 20 million + Marco Marchionni deal 4 the midfielder. Wenger has 3 alternatives that include Lorik Cana, Miguel Veloso and Blaise Matudi. He is still searching 4 another CB with Hangeland firmly in the picture. Wenger will attempt 2 negotiate with PSG 4 Mamadou Sakho when they come 4 the Emirates Cup during pre–season.

Man Utd have been pushed out of the frame 4 Sevilla's Fabiano as he wants 2 join Milan and SAF is not willing 2 spend 30 million on a 28 yr old. He will attempt 2 tie up the signing of Douglas Costa to add 2 that of Michael Owen, Gabriel Obertan and Luis Atonio Valencia. He holds an interest in Huntelaar but he looks set 2 join Stuttgart who are in advanced negotiations and cashed up after the sale of Mario Gomez. Barca are prepared 2 sell Yaya Toure 4 around 25 million if they land Mascherano and Man Utd are at the head of the queue.

Chelsea are still searching 4 that 'marquee signing' and are unlikely 2 find it in Franck Ribery who Bayern are demanding 70 million 4. Carlo Ancelotti is desperate 4 him 2 join the Pensioners but Abramovich is only offering 45 million. It is more likely that he will turn 2 Wesley Snejder who is valued by Madrid at around 20 million. Inter's interst in Deco and Carvalho is over after Chelsea demanded 14 million 4 the pair.

Liverpool have beaten Arsenal 2 the signing of PSG defensive starlet Chris Mavinga and will look 2 sign Falcao 4 5 million and have a contingency plan in place in case they lose Xabi Alonso or Mascherano which is Udinese's Gohkan Inler.

The stars of the Euro Under 21 Championship are attracting interest all across Europe. Namely Manuel Neuer, Jerome Boeteng,Marcus Berg, Mesut Ozil and Gojko Kacar.

Schalke have already turned down an 18.5 million offer from Bayern 4 one of Germany's brightest prospects who looks set 2 enjoy one of the great rivalries with Bayer Leverkusen's Rene Adler.

Jerome Boeteng the classy German CB who plays 4 Hamburg has attracted interst from Liverpool, Inter and Bayern a tempting offer of 10 million may clinch his signing.

Marcus Berg the top scorer with 7 goals has admirers in Aston Villa, Everton and Tottenham whilst Chelsea and Arsenal are monitoring his progress but he looks set 2 snub them all 4 Hamburg with a 12 million fee being talked about.

Mesut Ozil has been tracked by Arsenal 4 over 3 years whilst Man City have also started following him. His club have just lost Diego and look set 2 keep the playmker 4 another year. 20 million would b his current valuation.

Gojko Kacar turned heads all around Europ after his commanding displays 4 Serbia in midfield. however its his versatility that is most impressive with him being able 2 play midfield and defence and even fill in asa strker. Man Utd, AC Milan and Barca hold a strong interest in the 15 million rated Hertha Berlin starlet.
Guys Melo has signed for Juventus.
Next deal for d gunners is Cana which wil b a good replacement despite loosing Melo.
Chamakh – Adebayor's replacement
den a CB in d frame of Christain Zapata.
Whoever thinks Arteta is going to athletico for 7m must be crazy Moyes has said many times he doesn't have to sell his big player, including lescott, so if these two are to leave then moyes will be wanting around 20m for each. Everton should sign stefen defour for about 13m and also a right back as jacobson gone to blackburn. other than that expect cheap signings loans and freebies.
To the guy who wrote :

Anybody have any A.S Roma rumours?

Aston Villa rumours :

David Bentley to join by Friday.Eidur Gudjohnson has been approached but his dad agent is waiting to hear off West Ham.Crouch or Robbie Keane are the one's MON prefeer's up front so don't be surprised if a keane/carew swap deal materialises soon.Matty Upson & Distin to join. The O'neil/young relationship thing that they hate each other is utter crap.

BillyVilla–The truth shall set you free.
Mark Wotte to take advantage of Saints' takeover to make an offer for DJ Campbell – proven goalscorer at League One level, apparently Wotte has earmarked out–of–favour Campbell to help fire the Saints back up to the Championship
  Arsenal News:
Bruno ALves is also a probably transfers by arsenal sources.
Melo as alredy signed to Juve! By a deal of 25M and Marchionni.
Cana is a possibility for Liverpool.
Mikel Arteta could be a transfer. 10M

Sergio Aguero has signed a pre–contract will Liverpool FC and will move to the Reds on July 1st 2010.

The fee has been agreed at 45m Euros as the player had expressed his desire for the move but has however agreed to remain at Athletico for an additional season.

This story has broke in both Spain and South America in the last 24 hours.
Im fed up with this idiot forest fan posting garbage on this website.

Interesting news from the midlands, Daniel Fox may be allowed to leave the Ricoh after all, as a makeweight which will see Rob Earnshaw leave the Cuty Ground after just one year. Earnshaw's physique and style of play don't sit well with Davies, who has already expressed his desire to return to a traditional 442 by signing powerhouse forwards Adebola, McGoldrick and as of Thursday, Blackstock. Earnshaw had a difficult time under Davies at Derby and although the pair a=worked well together towards the end of Forest's safety push last year, they are too incompatible tactically to serve them both. The deal will cost us £500K and our favoured left back.

I'm pretty dissapointed to see Fox, who I thought would move to a premiership club, used as a carrott for Forest who expressed an interest in Fox in May, when I don't think earnshaw will add much to our side. He'll score a few goals, but he doesn't change matches. Think we may have been stung on this one.

A few weeks back i made mince meat of your rubbish talk about Keiran westwood leaving coventry and joining Notts forest. Now you have put on a pretty poor disguise as a coventry fan. What Planet are you living on! You will not get anywhere near Daniel Fox or any other of our valuable players this sumeer because youor a pathetic small time club allowing players llike Robbie Earnshaw to lead the line up front. You yourself epitimised it by Saying Dele Adeboal will be signing for you. HAHA not sure whose worse Adebola or Earnshaw!

As for the real club coventry City expect a busy 2 weeks of transfers. No transfers have yet been made because Ranson does not want to pay the wages of players that are not even playing (Because of Pre season). Deals have been made and will be announced shortly. Players we can expect to see joining.

  SAFC Gossip

Dont usually post stuff .But this is good info,
my information lets say just comes from a very very good source.
Newcastle's Shola Ameobi has held secret talks with Nial Quinn before flying out to Ireland ,A fee and personal terms have been agreed in principal between all involved,so expect this to happen in the next couple of weeks
I have many sources within liverpool fc, and the latest news coming out of anfield is that thierry henry will become a liverpool player within the next few weeks as part of any deal for javier mascherano.

lfc carl
I work in the offices at Anfield and there are a number of good transfer possibilities available to the club. Firstly all these rumours of the club having no money are so far off the mark. Rafa has been assured the funds will be available for any transfers he requires, but Rafa feels we only need the addition of 2 or 3 to go one better than last year.

If Masch does go to Barca, Liverpool have requested £20m plus Henry on a 2 year contract and Bojan on a seasons long loan with an option to buy at the end.

If Xabi goes to Madrid, again expect the club to bag around £20m but this time the addition of Ruud Van Nist and Schneider as part of the deal.

The Barca option is the one Rafa prefers.

As a replacement for either Masch or Xabi, expect Mark Noble or Michael Johnson to fill the void.

Rafa is also keen to sign Micah Richards and an enguiry has also been made for Joe Cole as the Silva deal has gone cold. Looks like he is staying in Spain.

These are 100% true.
I have it on very good authority and from sources high up at at liverpool football club that i know "fk all" about who they are going to sign. . . . . 100% true. . trust me !!!!!!!
  First post on this. Fed up with hearing the tripe some people write, so will just give you a fact from a players sister herself;
Ashley Young is going to be unveiled as a spurs player on Friday. Bentley and Huddlestone are going the other way +£8m. Seems like a good deal for both clubs as Randy Lerner is not keen to spend much cash this summer.
On a lighter note, Defour will join Everton £12.5m after hearing great things from ex teamate at S.Liege Felliani, Fowler to join Tranmere (help out his mate Jason McAteer) and Celtic will get Viduka (free) and Nolan (£3)from Newcastle and by early next week.

You heard old big nose here 1st
Good News for Rangers FC fans :). (Possibly)

This is only speculation.

I have just seen Peter Lovenkrands in Braehead eating lunch with his wife and child.

Could this spell a return to Rangers?

Would be a free transfer so. .

Man Utd fans needs to SORT THEIR LIVES OUT.
Yeah you got 80mil for ronaldo and have lost tevez but you've already signed 3 players to replace those 2. Owen, Obertan and Valencia will be the only forward players joining you lot. Forget talk of siging Eto'o, Ibra or Aguero, they are all too expensive for a club who won 3 trophies last season but still lost 40 mil in annual turnover. You have to realise that you are not in a real madrid situation and are in a worse financial postion than arsenal who made 40mil last year without winning a thing. Any signing you will make will be a CM as Hargreaves will not be fit to start the season and has doubts over the rest of his career. This is certainly not Toure who signed a new contract. Most likely is Gokhan Inler who has revealed he has recieved offers and one of them is from Utd for an estimated 12mil. THIS IS YOUR SUMMER DONE NOW STOP DREAMING.
  Hoops News

Chris Commons 3.5 million
Rafa told his squad that fergie will be shakin wen he hears our new signin.rafa has 40m to spent fact.aguero will sign by july 20th.if rafa had no money he would have got owen on a free, but is willing to spend all his budget on kun aguero.he will only sell dossena nd voronin nd buy valbuena for 8m.believe me please imy sources havent been wrong yet.

Utd will sign dodo nd costa and finish off there spending by signing none other than DIEGO FORLAN,fergie has already suprised you all with his signings.
Wolves are to sign james Mcarthy from hamilton
Prestons bid to bring Charlie Adam from Rangers from under the noses of rivals Blackpool seems to have been successful. The move means that Preston are likely to accept the offer on the table for Nottingham bound Paul McKenna. Despite being a fans favourite the club, the club have allowed McKenna to leave the training camp in Austria to finalise the switch.

News about a former French international seems to be fading after Birmingham city entered the race to sign the player.

Forest are also keen on signing more than one player from coventry in an attempt to bolster their back line. This is according to a club sponsor of Coventry.
Panathinaikos wants the spanish center back MARCHENA!!In the next days panathinaikos will make a bid for Zdeněk Grygera from
Spurs will sign robert green from west ham early next week.
Melo hasn't signed for juventus just yet (07/07/09) as the player who juventus are hoping to swap hasn't agreed terms with fiorentina yet. This may let arsenal back in but if it doesn't then wenger will turn to either lorik cana or Gokhan Inler.
  Cardiff City

Samuel Eto'o will join Manchester United for around 22–26.5Million in the coming hours, this will be Sir Alex's fourth signing. Eto'o is seen alongside Owen as a striker capable of getting the goals which may be missing due to the departures of Christiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez.

The whereabouts of Samuel Eto'o is currently unknown.
I am sad to say Alonso and Masch will be leaving, upsetting to see but what is the point keeping players if they don't want to be there.

Unhappy with Mascherano, if it was not for us rescuing him from West Ham Reserves where would he be know.

They are desperate to leave, trust me. Not sure of replacements at this time.

Valencia have agreed to sell the mestalla for 500m easing financial worries.
Expect Ever Bangenga to move to arsenal in a 5m deal as valencia look to cut their losses on him. Arsenal are also looking to sign Mata.
Valencia are looking to sign reyes.
Notts County have signed Lee Hughes on a free transfer from oldham

and will complete the signing of sheff utds dave carney on friday
West Ham officials are in Holland at the moment in talks with AZ Alkmaar and AFC Ajax. The players West Ham are interested in signing are

  Barcelona News
i am a barcelona fan, but i will tell you about all the 'big name' tranfer news about top clubs.
David Villa will not be goin to england because he is coming to Barca, so that means the end for Eto'o, either to ManCity (for money) or United for trophies
We will not be getting Aguero because we simply don't need him, man united look set to get him with 40–45mil
Chelsea will not get Pato
if Mascherano comes, that means the end for Yaya Toure, to man united or city, glory or money, not arsenal cos they can't provide him with either.
Bojan is goin to go out on loan
Xavi will definetly not be leaving so stop sayin he will, him and iniesta have the best midfield partnership in the world so why wud he leave to man u, the team he just beat in the cl final.
if we dnt get fabregas this season, he will definetly com nxt season, cos arsenal are not gna win anything for another season. .maybe more.
Barca do not want Ashley Young cos 1. he's not reached the barcelona level, 2. we don't need him and 3. as much as he wud love to com to barca, i think he himself nos that he won't play many games, so he is gonna go to united (unfortunetly)

Thats all from me today folks, but stay tuned for more news and more views with THE AGENT
  Man utd ins:
A Young 18.5 mill
Yaya Toure 17 mill
Klaas Jan Huntelaar 17 mill
Michael owen (done)
Antonio Valencia (done)
Gabriel Obertan (done)
Regarding Man United, as a fan I'm pretty gutted about our signings so far; Valencia being a poor mans Ronaldo, and Owen geting injured all the time. However if you think this is all our activity, i should expect not. Firstly SAF has always said that four strikers brings a championship, e.g Cole, Yorke, Ole, and Teddy. So i expect Owen is going to be our Ole, aka Super sub, and play a part in Carling cups and such like. Hopefully another striker will be signed, of which it is most likely to be Aguero for £40 million, maybe with Nani going the other way as they have expressed interest, or Huntelaar for £20 million. Furthermore, the midfield is likely to be shored up, with a greater possession game, with Sneider, De Rossi, and even Essien being mentioned to play that role. Essien seems unlikely, but Hargreaves will most likely see out his contract even if he recovers. After all, even Barca needs Yaya Toure to graft around their passing game. Valencia, Nani, Obertan, and Park are suitible wingers, but SAF to make a bid for Silva or a similar winger, not Young. A rightback may be signed as G.Neville is past it, so maybe Richards will sign.
Finally regarding the matter of funds, it had been reported as soon as Ronaldo was sold, Malcom Glazer promised to redirect funds straight to transfer, else he would face mutiny. You worry about the debt, but seeing as Man U brings in more money than any other club bar one, we will be fine, and every year we take a bite out of the debt. This post is based on how i see the situation, and what i have heard.
A reliable source tells me that Liverpool are looking to sign the following:

Glen Johnson (signed) £17.5M –£8/9M from pompey
Mathieu Valbuena(Marseille) £6M
Mata NOT Silva (Valencia) £12.5M rising to £15M
Radamel falcao (River Plate)5.00 EURO = £4.32373

We will then sell:
Andreas Dossena £6.5M
Arbeloa £5M
Sebastian Leto £3M
Ryan Babel £9M
Andriy Voronin £3M

£32.3M – £26.5M = £5.8M
£4M will be spent on youth players.

The tarrman has just seen nathan tyson currently with nottingham forest with super ally outside ibrox rumours are the gers are going to snap up the speedy tricky trees forward as they feel tyson will have a great ko blow to there arch rivals celtic

you heard it here first from the tarrman
My cousin has just rang. . . . .Dean Ashton is having a hush hush fitness trial at Carrington!
Ok, I've been following the site for a couple of months now and always read the same old rumours. .which at times can be interesting and on other occassions just pure garbage!

to all the LFC fans, could anyone please shed some light on any potential take–over news/rumours.

I recently attended the U2 concert at Camp Nou and spoke with a few directors and:

Henry – NOT coming to Anfield

Bojan – Part of Masch deal, on loan as Pep thinks he will learn alot from Torres and thinks it will be good for him.

Masch – On his way UNLESS he accepts the new improved contract

Xavi & Iniesta – There is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY they are leaving. To the people who mentioned Man U and Real Madrid as possible destinations, you are seriously delusional!
Sir A.Ferguson is planning 2swoop Ashley Young, Huntelaar, wesley sneijder, costa Douglas
Sheffield Wednesday are looking at Eddie Johnson from fulham. Not sure of the type of transfer but Laws is interested.

Would be a great signing IMO, as Tudgay is going to Burnley aswell.
Thanks for clearing up those questions for me! Couldn't agree more about Nani. He reminds me of a young Ronaldo. If Sir Alex can help him become physically stronger I'm sure he would manage to fill the black hole left on the right hand side.
I have also seen Hamsik and again couldn't agree more. Fantastic prospect. Have heard that AC Milan will make moves to sign him for a fee reaching upwards of £15 million. However this is only if Juventus beat them to the signing of D'Agostini. Fee will be in a similar region. However if he doesn't leave Napoli look set to have a strong team with him and Guagliarella!
I haven't seen Eden Hazard in action but have also heard good things about him.
I think Real Madrid have first option on Diego Buonnanotte. Don't think they will make a move for him this summer though.
Neven Subotic has been touted as a replacement for Lucio at Bayern Munich if the Brazilian brick wall leaves to sign for Manchester City.
Have you heard any rumours about Alex Smithies of Huddersfeild? Young English goalkeeper that looks the real deal.

Thanks Again

Remember me Guys??? its "Dead Sparrow" again.
A month ago I told you that United would sign 'AS'(from an Italian Club) 'SA' (from a Spanish Club) and a 'monster' having a weird hair cut from a club who wear blue in Premier league. . . .they are still on United List. .
My top class source has informed me that the first two ,I mean, 'AS' and 'SA' will surely(GUARANTEED) be signed in July but that Monster could stay at his club as they are not willing to sell. so united have set their sight on a player who plays for a team who dominated them in the CL final. and the player is not Iniesta. . .so put him out of equation. .but as I love to give you some hints, there is a hint for you about that player –– there is a player who plays in the PL(who wants to get out of his current club) and whose name(I am not talking about the whole name) is almost similar as United target's name. .

work it out guys and be happy. .Cuz these three signings will surely please united fans. .

bye bye again. . "DEaD SpARRoW"
Following the big 7 joining at St.Anderws so far: Dann, Johnson, Espinoza, Bowyer, Benitez, Hart and Carr – McLeish is still chasing two or three players.
To raise funds/reduce wage bill the following will be sold or let go: McSheffrey (may raise £1m and is a top earner), Phillips – released, Martin Taylor (£500k – apparently Forest have been after him for while), Shroot, Doyle and Pearce have loans agreed already, Kelly has already gone to Fulham.
The targets as it stands are: Viera (Free from Inter but absurd wages – haggling at around £80k per week plus add ons), Joey Barton (Newcastle – possible loan but other players have expressed a concern and Sullivan does not want McLeish to rock the boat of a happy squad), Vela and Ramsey (Arsenal – loans are a possibility but the relationship between clubs has been strained since the Eduardo/Taylor 'incident'), the big shock move may be for Tuncay (Middlesborough – wants to play in the Prem and the bigger teams have not yet come calling so a quick move to finalise a deal – Money being the only issue – they want £6m and he wants £50k a week – may stop this from going through). Fingers crossed Bluenoses!!!
These are not rumours it is fact. My friend who has contacts with david gill has confired Manchester united have signed gabriel obertan for 3mill on a 4 your deal. Also united are in talks with sevilla over the transfer of 13mill rated luis fabiano the deal has been agreed and he is due in manchester for a medical will join by thursday subject to agreeing personal terms. Douglas Costa the brazillian wonderkid rated at 15mill by gremio has revealed he has rejected a 4 year contract by liverpool stating he has his heart set on the english champions man utd. Silva is currently in england and united, liverpool and tottenham have agreed to meet valencia's 20mill valuation where will he go? finally city's last bid of 50million plus robinho for chelsea skipper john terry is interesting ancelloti as he sees mexes as a replacement for the ageing terry. All these transfers will happen by the end of July!
Ryan Giggs and jason koumas spotted in the vale of glamorgan hotel in cardiff today not sure what this means
Remember the post about Sheikh Mohammed finally buying Liverpool? Talking to G Brown in Nov 08.
Rafa talking to Dubai officials?

Spot on.

Also, Manchester City are struggling to tie up the deal for Carlos Tevez, because Kia Joorabchian has persuaded Tevez that a U–turn and a move to Liverpool would do no harm, since Michael Owen has performed a similar move to Man Utd.

Tevez is starting to understand that the fans will forget him quickly, and so a move to Liverpool would be best, and he wouldn't have to move.

Tevez has completed a medical at Manchester City, but the deal has not been signed due to interest yet from Liverpool. I'd brace yourselves.

David Silva will sign for Liverpool, but Rafa is waiting to see whether new ownership at Valencia will hinder the deal. A deal in the region of 23m euros had been agreed in principle.

Finally, with regards to Sheikh Maktoum, RBS have asked other 'buyers' to come forward, but they cannot make a bid unless Sheikh Mo pulls out. Remember, he has first option on the club, agreed back in November.
Carlos Tevez is to be unveiled as a Liverpool player before their pre season tour although Villa was first choice along with Aguero. Fortunately both Villa and Aguero will not be leaving their clubs this season.

Also, Mata and not Silva will be joining, again, before the tour.

Alonso is leaving but fortunately Masch will be staying on a new wage of £90,000 p/w.

Oh and the yanks are staying put. 100% guaranteed.

I can`t reveal my source but lets just say the walls have ears at Heswall golf club.
Any1 have any spurs info. is the young deal a possibility really?
Man City will complete the signings of John Terry, Joleon Lescott, Juan Capdavilla, Carlos Tevez, Samuel Eto'o and are also chasing Robert Aquafresha as Sturridge has left and Jo on loan Caicedo and Bellamy both likely to leave
To the bloke that posted this drivel

Rafa has held a meeting with first team yesterday after training and has outlined his expectations for the coming season. He expects 2 more signings to join with a number of fringe/reserve players being loaned out if possible. Apparently he expects every player to stay but has one player expressing his wish to leave. Mascherano Possibly?

Really how dod he do this by phone, telepathy perhaps? He played in Argentina after the season finished – The International players haven't joined up yet
  Reading fc transfers

There is limited money available at the madejski this summer, even with the departure of Kevin Doyle to Wolves and the imminent departure of Stephen Hunt to either Wigan or Birmingham for around £3m.

This means that Brendan Rodgers will be looking at a few loan moves to help strengthen the squad, as well as making one or two permanent signings.
First on his wishlist is cover for the injury prone Chris Armstrong at left back with loans for both Ryan Bertrand and Patrick Van Aanholt being possibilities.

Rodgers also wants a new Centre back to strengthen the first team, he has shorlisted 3 players who are Liam Fontaine, Lewin Nyatanga and Miles Addison.
Buck is also looking at Nicky Bailey and Chris Cohen for midefield and Robert Snodgrass and Richard Lambert for strikers. Reading are also hoping to bring in MIroslav Stoch, Jacob Mellis and Franco Di Santo on loan.
Lucho Gonzalez of Porto won't replace any out going LFC players because he's signed for my Marseilles a week ago

Please stop writing in about Arsenal news where you take the feeds of either crappy newspapers or newsnow links. Go back to school.
Let me tell you that Arsenal is one of the hardest clubs to get any info from, I know because beleive me I tried. It is only the last minute that actually someone at the club would know.
Matudi is a possible target, and i can tell you that Melo was never in the running it was all bull from his club making noises, trying to scare Juve would not be surprised if wenger made a surprise signing like he did that day with Eduardo
When I write on this site I only write the truth
It amazes me how many people reel off an extensive list of changes at the top four clubs on here.

I expect Liverpool to make one massive signing as they only need to tweak the squad that finished the strongest since the turn of the new year.

On to my team, Everton.

Again, for a team that has finished in top 5 and 6 consistently over the last few years, again only need to tweak.

The most sensible option would be Defour, as he partners well with Fellini.

there will be no major players going out, unless Citys' offer for Lescott is so large it cannot be refused.

The other incoming has to be right back, as the club have let Jacobson go.

So one midfielder and a right back should be it for Everton this window, although we may offload Arteta if the price is right in January.
The reason for barca's high interest in fabregas and mascherano is because they have a 60 mil bid for iniesta and yaya toure from united.
If this bid fails fergie will look at fabregas who is frustrated by lack of silverware at the emirates.
Else moutinho and veloso will sign.
Obertan gignac and savio done deals.
youngsters to sign after the market cools down next year.
Barca will be buying a world class striker in when they sell eto they will use money from eto deal + own money to buy a nw keeper in sebastian frey a nw LB in lahm any way becuse madrid haver signed a big name in ronaldo and Kaka barca will bid 50 million for WAYNE ROONEY.
Xabi is staying. Rafa has priced Real out of a move and will keep him at Anfield. However Masch is going for around 30 million pounds(no swapss) and Flynn and Therafall are set to go out on loan.
On the incomming front Rafas replacment fot Masch will come in the from of Inler or Cana. Silva to Liverpool is unlikely after Real renewed their intrest(priced out of Xabi and Ribery). Rafa has been watching last seasons Marselles games in order to properly scout Cana and Ben Arfa and has come across another talent in Matheiu Valbuena who he is considering a bid for shortly(in the mold of Inesta). Also Mata is Likely to come in if Liverpool offer Valencia some youngsters on loan(Pacheco,Lucas,Bruna).Lastly Liverpool are considerin a bid for Alexis Sanchez who is a long time target of Manchester United.
Any sound Everton fan will tell you that we have no chance of signing Ashley Young. Pennant for free would be a bargain and would add some pace and width and leave us some cash to strengthen elsewhere. Silly money for Lescott wouldn't be a disaster, Moyes would spend it wisely.
Hi im an administrator working alongside Christian Purslow LFC's new MD. . At the moment we are working with Rafa on player transfers with the clubs group chief financial officer Phillip Nash, even though it seems quiet at anfield it really isn't. Yes we don't have the funds we would like to bring in superstars like Aguero, Ribery and so fourth. We are bracing ourselves for the sell of Alonso to Madrid but that has been on the cards for well over a year now. We are taken a serious look at bringing in a young mid from Fiorentina who goes by the name of Zdravko Kuzmanovic who has pace to burn and the type of vision to hit a 60 yard inch perfect crossfield pass Inler is also being looked at but is much more expensive due to the great season he had at Udinese. Adam Johnson from borough is also near completion and would add much needed width with Babel looking to be out the door. Also expect D.Silva to be signed by late july he will be the key to LFC's success next season and is a long term target for Rafa which is obviously well publicised. Fringe players are out ie: Voronin Itandje Plessis Dossena Arbeloa El Zhar although not all fringe players, they will be sold to fund the buys and finally Rafa and Christian are in deep debate regarding the fact we should either buy another striker as back up to Nando or just buy a right winger and utilise Dirk upfront again considering he had his best season so far goal wise. When the outcome arises ill be sure to let you know. .
