Blackpool are planning on installing current Wrexham FC manager Andy Morrell as their new manager.
It is believed that Morrell will also take Assistant manager Billy Barr along with him. Morrell has apparently been told he will have a transfer budget to compete at the very top of the league. {Ed003's Note - It was all good until the last sentence.}

Graham Dorrans has been offered a contract by Southampton after they had a £3.8m bid accepted, the club are looking to boss midfield options, Dorrans not sure if he wants to move to the south coast but the contract, as usual, is a lucrative one!
I can't see that happening to be honest. Not sure Southampton would be interested in Dorrans or West Brom would be happy to allow his departure for so little.

Charlie mcdonald has been linked with a move to the gills but can't see this happening and sam saunders is been linked with the club. Apparently, Mike Ashley has given Alan Pardew £10 million according to a inside source to spend on a attacking player to replace Demba Ba, Pardew is looking to trigger Wellington Nem and Diame's release clause and is prepared to offer up to £30,000 in wages a week to both players including add ons.

Southampton are very close to agreeing a deal for Douglas from FC Twente for around 5 mil. Also rumoured is ter stegen from Borussia Monchengladbach for around 6 mil + Boruc
Douglas is out of contract in July, no way would we pay 5mil
Would be good as long as it doesn't effect the 2 deals we are all currently talking about

Those fees seem very low even with boruc who can't be worth more than 2mill. Douglas would only be 5mill if we threw in Jos and DeRidder which would actually be fairly good business.
Recent comments from Ter Stegen seems to suggest that he is not moving, possibly in the summer but with clubs like Real Madrid sniffing around I think this is going to be a struggle for us!
Douglas will probably go for less than 5 million. His contract runs out very soon and Twente otherwise may loose him for free. 3 million would almost definitely be accepted.
Douglas is a complicated transfer because 3 parties including Douglas get a slice of the transfer fee which leaves Twente with a tiny fee. If he and others are prepared to compromise then maybe it'll happen, but certainly not for 5 million.
Boruc's contract runs out at the end of the season. Why would a team bother
buying him or using him in part of a swap when they can just negotiate a contract with him right now and take him for nothing at the end of the season?
