GP in talks with 2 clubs : Newcastle and West Ham about bringing in loan striker. Not feasible before tr deadline due ti injuries at both clubs. Recent striking problems have convinced Club management that tall target man is a priority if Brighton are to get into top 6 this year. Sorce - reliable at club
So youre basically proposing ameobi or carlton cole to brighton?
Surely Wickham from Sunderland would be a better loan deal as he's technically better than Cole & Ameobi and he's available for loan immediately.
Newcastle won't let Sammy Ameobi go on loan as their in the Europa league and Cisse and Ba will be going to the African Cup of Nations in January.
Its not cole it will either be piquionne or rob hall ,rob hall would suite brightons play better and has scored 6 goals in 3 games in the under 21 leage
Cisse and ba are not going to the african cup of nations senegal did not qualify

Izale McLeod will make his return to the MK Dons later this month as his contract runs out with Portsmouth. He'll be offered a long term and better paid contract. He's also local to the club and the signing is to boost fan moral and the clubs hopes of promotion this season.
Impossible. Even if the player's contract expires, they will not be able to sign for a new club until January. This was confirmed.

Why is it impossible? If his contract has expired it would not be a transfer so surely technically this would be allowed. {Ed003's Note - He can't sign for anyone until January if his contract ends beforehand}
He's an MK ledgend and yeah, he's doing quite well at the moment.
Any striker than the lot we have at the moment is worth a chance. If Robbo had bought a striker last january we eowuld have gone up and same now. We need a goal scorer. I had a side bet that McLeod wuld score against us and he did (same when we played Barnet) at least he scores - which is more than McDonald (missed from 2 yards against Coventry), Lowe and Smith! Ibehre not brilliant but did hold the ball up. Come on Robbo get a striker in NOW

Izale would be a great addition, 10 goals in 20 for portsmouth this season speaks for itself !

A lot of rumours circling around the Watford Observer that Marvin Sordell wants to leave Bolton and come back to Watford. Anyone else heard this?
It's very unlikely. We have plenty of striking options

Never went for the money let him rot in the reserves.
Not sure what Watford observer you are looking at not the one from watford.
Coyle doesn't play him anyway so he may as well move on be it Watford or another club.
We dont actually have that many attacking options as iwelumo plays well but doesnt score, geijo is a lump of turn and deeney is our top man

Geijo has never scored a lot of goals where ever he has been and is generally not good at holding the ball up. deeney is far better and would love sordell back

Geijo scored 26 goals in 60 games for for Granada. Many players out there with worse records
That was in a division equivalent to league2 as Spanish division 2 is poor
La liga is soo much different to the championship. geijo is shockingly bad
Got vydra ( class finisher ), forestieri ( best WFC player since John Barnes and co ) and then deeney, geijo( who's goals kept Granada in la liga ) and Iwelumo (.............................)

AC Milan want to bring Pep Guardiola back to football.
Silvio Berlusconi wants to 'shake up' his whole coaching staff, including getting rid of Max Allegri and bringing in Guardiola.
Apparently the hurry is because assorted Premier League clubs, including Chelsea and Manchester United, are also keen on Pep, so Milan want to tie him down as quickly as possible.
