As already mentioned on this site Ribery looks primed to move from Bayern Munich, Barcelona is the likely team for a fee of €25 + a choice of Eider Gudjohnson or Alexander Hleb. Hleb would be the obvious choice however with Podolski moving to Koln in the summer leaving Toni and Klose as the two main strikers they may take Gudjohnson.

Everton will sign Owen this summer, infact, I am good friends with a guy at Everton, and he has already signed. Expect this to be a free transfer, and that he would be released by Newcastle by the seasons end. Also we should sign Gary Neville.

Manager Brian Laws for the first time will have decent funds available for his squad.

New Deals for:

Lee Grant – Done 3 yr
Tommy Spurr
Richard Hinds
Richard Wood
Marcus Tudgay
Leon Clarke – Done 1 yr

With inconsistency being Wednesday's major downfall this season, Laws will look at experience through the spine of the team, deals have been offered to:

CB Darren Purse – Cardiff City
CM Carl Fletcher – Crstal Palace
CM Darren Potter – Wolves
CM Tommy Miller – Ipswich
RM Ryan France – Hull City
RM Dany N'Guesson – Lincoln City
ST Dele Adebola – Bristol City

Whispers around Hillsborough are that Richard Wood could be sold, apparently the new contract offer wasnt what Wood wanted, now he wants to look else where for a new deal.

Laws will look at using the transfer money from the Wood deal to bring in 2 players:

Nicky Bailey – Charlton 750k
Gregorz Rasiak – Southampton upto 1m.

These 2 are dependent on the Wood issue, plus the outcome of the offers on the table for the Free Agents.

Expect a busy summer Owls fans, Mr Strafford still thinks investment can be delivered by Jan 10.
Barry and johnson ar definate signings fro liverpool, we also need a right winger and there has been speculation in us signing bentley from tottenham on the cheap, we maybe will sign david silva for about 15–25 million and we are in talke wit atletico over agureo for a deal reaching 24million and a new number 2 keeper as cavalieri may leave for more first tem oppurtunities i heared we will get joe hart for 7 million. honestley its true
Ledley to west ham is a done deal.gabbidon will go to cardiff as part of the deal.

Rafa believes that stevie and torres will have a few injury problem next season as they did this season so he will make a bid for Almeria frontrunner Alvaro Negredo to be a back up striker. Rafa also wants a winger and this will be his big signing. he will bid for either David Silva or Joe Cole. finally Rafa will sign Glen Johnson as right back, carrager will play right central with skertel and agger fighting for left central and aurelio and insua will fight for left back.
sold will be arbeloa, babel and most of the other non regulars.
lfc for the title next year
  LFC NEWS
Rafa has said he wants a right–back, a central defender (to replace Hyppia), a winger and a striker.
First of all that means he won't now go for Barry (and let's face it he doesn't need him).
The right–back will be Johnson for between £10 – £16m. A lot of money I agree but he is the best british right–back so. needs must.
The centre–half (so I've been reliably told) will be Adil Rami of Lille. He'll cost around £6–£7m with Lille also getting young midfielder Damian Plessis as part of the deal.
The winger is Maxi Rodriguez of Athletico Madrid (a player Rafa has wanted for a long time). The fee will be between £8–£10m with Athletico getting Lucas as part of the deal (oh well. never mind).
The striker is Alvredo Negredo. Currently playing for Almeria but Real Madrid have first option on him (which they won't take up). He'll cost between £10–£12m.
Rafa will sell Dossena (AC Milan) / Leto (Juventus) / Babel (Hamburg) / Voronin (Hertha Berlin – yes. .they will be back for him). This will raise around £26m which, along with the £20 the board will give him covers all the transfers.
N'Gog will go on a season long loan to Fulham but two other youngsters, Adam Hammill and Krisztian Nemeth, will break into the first team. Hobbs has already agreed to move to Leicester. Martin & Anderson may also join him there (Martin = permanent but Anderson may only be on loan).
The Futures bright. .the futures red!
My cousin plays for manchester united he is owen hargreaves but he told me last night that united are waiting for his injury to fully heal then he is off they have lost patience with his erratic injury list, his agent has been instructed by a david gill to alert clubs to his availability the fee looks likely to be 5m cut price to how much he was paid for but apparently arsenal spurs and and everton and a few others are intrested in him. I asked him about the tevez scenario and if or what will happen in transfer market for united, he said united were going to pay the full price for tevez but msi group who own tevez want more that and the fact tevez went to press about possibly leaving has left a bad taste for united and will now not sign him he will be released at the end of the season.Dont expect to see scholes neville and giggs and vds playing much 1st team next year as scholes will help solskaer with youth team and giggs and neville will retire and vds will retire and return to amsterdam.Apparently barca and madrid both tried to sign either vidic and evra but both failed although there is a rumour that barca tried to tap up vidic and he is apparently tempted. Ronaldo aint going no where nor is rooney however rooney might not be there next year as much as the effort he puts in he aint progressed as far as what was expected of him he is class but not world class.Benzema won't be signed too expensive and not proven in this league however owen said david villa is being looked at by united and the prospect of playing in europe and at united has tempted him although he would prefer united or Lpool due to spanish connections. Xavi or diarra will be brought in to replace owen and you might see united go in for essien of chelsea apparently united wanted him before he went to chelsea but were outbid by chelsea. And finally you could see a new keeper at united but at the expense of losing park and letting nani join for a year for a loan or macheada yes buffon in talks about replacing vds.
Just a quick one but has anyone else noticed that Marco Van Basten has quit his job as Ajax coach? What with all this talk of Arsenal needing a new hand on the tiller and Real obviously in need of a new manager after the spud's reject messing things up, am I the only one to see a possible manager merry–go–round starting up?

Rangers Rumours

As everyone is aware, saving money is the priority, however, Rangers can not risk not getting into the Group stages of the Champions League this season, as that is £10million extra in the bank. There will have to be sellings, however, with the way things have worked out since January, it will be high earners getting shipped along with the dead weight.

Rangers Out

Barry Ferguson (Tottenham/Birmingham/Middlesbrough/Newcastle)
Andrius Velicka (Showing good form on goal, despite doing even less work than KB – Hearts)
Brahim Hemdani (free)
Christian Dailly (Free/Retiremeant)
David Weir (Free/Retiremeant, possible Coach Job)
DaMarcus Beasley (Listening to offers)
Kirk Broadfoot (Listening to offers)
Lee McCulloch (Listening to offers)
Charlie Adam (Listening to offers)
Danny Wilson (Motherwell – Loan)

Interested (Following teams showing interest)

Steven Davis (Sunderland/Wigan)
Madjid Bougherra (Birmingham)
Sasa Papac (Middlesbrough)
Kris Boyd (Birmingham)
Pedro Mendez (Bolton/Portsmouth)
Nacho Novo (Valenca/Athletico)
John Fleck (Manchester United)

Rangers In

Brian Stock (Doncaster)
Nabil Baha (Malaga)
Andy Dorman (St Mirren – £1m)
Bruno Aguiar (Hearts – P/Ex?)
Alan Hutton (Not first choice for tottenham, and they do not want to pay the rest of the transfer off to Rangers that is still owed.)
Hermann Hreidarsson (Portsmouth – Free)
Peter Lovenkrands (Newcastle – Free. Would have joined Jan, and willing to take a wage cut, however, club could not exceed anymore wages, offloading high earners will allow for move back)
Joey Barton (Have heard rumours of him being let go from Newcastle on free at the end of season, no Prem club will take him due to reputation, however, Rangers have been knowen to take on this type of player – this is unlikely, but I have been hearing it.)
Federico Macheda (Manchester United – Loan. Was apparently a gentlemans agreement between managers, until however his displays in the first team, most likely lost out on him now)
Fabio da Silva (Manchester United – Loan)
Rodrigo Possebon (Manchester United – Loan)

Please remeber, these are rumours, I am not saying everyone of these transfers is going to happen, maybe a couple. I also do not know anyone one the inside, or the dog walker of the best pals little cousin of the person in the know. Nothing is ever Fact, it is whispers. Anyone who claims different is talking out of a whole in their face. No Big name signings, the transfer window will be about building as solid a team as possible on the best deals possible.

  LFC NEWS

Liverpool have contacted Ajax about a possible player plus cash swap for Luis Suarez. The offer put forward was £2m + Ryan Babel. With Van Basten leaving Ajax, Suarez has indicated his willingness to leave so expect this to happen.

Also, fee agreed with Aston Villa for Gareth Barry. This is £9m upfront with a possible £2m more in add–ons. barry will be in Liverpool in next 2 weeks to agree terms with the club. This will not be announced until the end of the season though.

David Silva, Alvaro Negredo and Glen Johnson are all key targets for Rafa still and deals could be struck for these fairly soon. Expect all Liverpools transfer dealings to be concluded by July 22nd so all new signings can travel to the far east with the squad.

On a final note, the ownership saga has taken a step closer to resolution as Hicks has all but given up hope of retaining the club. RBS have told Hicks that without a huge financial input by himself or George, re–financing is impossible. Hicks has known this for a while, hence the search for an investor and the attempts to sell some of his businesses (Rodeo, % of Stars and Rangers. .etc). This has not been succesful and yesterday (monday) representative of both Hicks and Gillett met key players on behalf of Nasser Al–Kharafi in London. I don't know how it went and won't be able to find out, but I know for a fact that a meeting took place!!!
  Everton will sign

Jo 6million
mountinho 10million
veleso 6million
fanni 2million
S.taylor 3million
O.martins 7million
Downing 5million

everton players sold will be

Yakubu 8million
andy van der meyde 3million
victor anichebe 5million
james vaughan 3million

arteta will stay
lescott will also stay

To the fan who wrote the above. For as much money as Man Citeh have got they will not take a 12M loss on Jo. Another loan this time for the season is best to wish for. Sporting rejected 17M for Moutinho & 15M for Veloso last summer. Downing will go for 10M+ even if Boro get relegated. Van Der Meyde is available on a free as he is out of contract. Vaughan has more potential than Big Vic.
My view is that Moyes will look for Owen on a free transfer. Jacobsen to sign an extension for another season. Put all is eggs in one basket and pursue Moutinho all summer. Will agree that Big Vic will go most probably to top Championship club. . Preston and Alan Irvine??
  Celtic 4inaRow
Over at the Champions we will be signing Damien Duff as a replacement for Aiden McGeady who will be at the Villa next season. That aside expect no major moves in at the Champions as the biscuit tin mentality really returns at Celtic, sad but true.
Marek Hamsik to Manchester United, from friend's Dad
Barnsley will sign four players in the summer with a new manager and backroom staff alson on the way in. The manager will be confirmed as Aidy Bothroyd despite a number of applications. His assistant will be who he choses as will his coaching staff. His appointment will be announced next Monday, 11/05.
He will sign a number of players as soon as he is appointed as Patrick Cryne has discussed with him already. They are as followed:
Donovan Slijngard–Ajax–Defender–Loan
Alexandre Jansen Da Silva–Liege–Defender–Loan Pedro Mosquera–Real Madrid–Midfielder–Loan
Liam Dickinson–Derby–Striker–Loan
Exodus Geohaghon–Kettering–Defender–£200,000
Derek Geary–Sheff Utd–Defender–£250,000
After being demolished in both legs by United the Gooners will finally make some large changes come the summer and Wenger may at last realise that in order to succeed we need more talent and experience. Madrid will now look closely at Fabregas as with no silverwere he may be tempted by a move away, his replacement would be Gourcuff from Milan as he is unlikely to sign permanent for Bordeaux. Matuidi will join to bolster DM. Rosicky will return to the fold and establish himself on the left come the start of the new season. Ade and RVP will both leave the club, Ade to Milan and RVP to either Inter or Munich. Coming in will be Huntelaar should Tevez move to Madrid and Pato as part of the Ade deal. Cissokho will sign from Porto meaning Traore will be offloaded alond with Senderos, coming in will be either Sahko of PSG or Mertesacker of Werder Bremen. Arshavin will play as a forward next year and nasri will be the playmaker in the centre of the park. Should these rumours turn to reality i can only see good times for arsenal and will finally become a force again
I have read the funniest rumour ever– that lad Coma going on a bout 40M for Ibrahomvic to Barca, are you out of your mind, what planet are you on, stop playing FIFA 09 and come back to reality, prior to that you went on about Ribery for 25M+ hleb, again you have proven you know nothing about football.

Real rumours– Rafa will spend big on one player, if he goes for a playmaker/winger it could be either Silva or J.Cole. Then he would bring in Kerrison to back up Torres, or else if he spends big on striker expect Aguero not Villa. Then he will bring in Kuba as his playmaker. Many to leave thou.
I have accsess to aston villa as i know a couple of players.

Outs:
Marlon Harewood – 2.5 million – Wolves, Birmingham or Sheffield United
Gareth Barry – 14–20 million – Arsenal or Liverpool
Craig Gardner – 2.5 million – Wolves (there will be a buy back clause should he be a sucsess)
Stuart Taylor – 1 million – Cardiff
Nigel Reo–Coker – 5 million – Blackburn or Fulham
Zat Knight – 2.5 million – Hull

Total: 33.5 Million

Ins:
Boaz Myhill – 2 million – Hull
Thomas Hitzlsperger – 7 million – Stuggart
Steven Defour – 3 million – Standard Liege
Micah Richards – 3 million – Man City
Joe Hart – 4 million – Man City
Michael Johnson – 7 million – Man City
Fabian Delph – 4 million – Leeds
Felipe Melo de Carvalho – 4 million – Fiorentina
Razvan Rat – 2 million – Shakhtar Donetsk
David Bentley – 9 million – Tottenham
Brede Hangeland – 10 million – Fulham
Ok. I have been browsing this website for a few days now and am getting sick of you manu supporters who keep saying Moyes is the next man u boss!!!! He ain't ok!!! He is building a consistent team where he is and will remain!! It annoys all us football fans when that one club. . .yes big headed club. . who everyone apart from prawn eaters hates, think they can have everything!!!!   Why would Barca pay out over £200 million on new players when they have a near perfect squad already? Ribery will come in to provide perfect balance to Messi, Henry and Bojan will provide cover for the front three. Albiol may join if Marquez leaves and Guillherme will sign as cover for leftback from Almeria. An outlay of maybe just over £50 million. They will not sign 20 players and they won't spend stupid amounts of money! Get real.

  Liverpool FC rumoured in. .

Navarro at LB. . 6m
Johnson at RB. . 10m
Anderson at CB. . free (young brazilain for cover)
Downing at LM. . 12m
Barry at LCM. . 8m
. . a young strker. . Zarate, Llorentes, Diogo. . anybodies guess. . many linked and will depend on availability and funds. . but cover for Torres.

If Liverpool manage to get in those 6 players, I think we will be doing really well. Problem is like last couple of seasons is funds. . rumoured that Rafa has starting budget of 30m so will obviously have to sell to fund the above named players. . prices above at 36m before a strker is bought. . so will have to sell to make up at least 16 to 18 million.

Most likely to go are the players on loan at the moment and those struggling to break into the first team. .

Leto, Pennant very likely gone. . 6m ?
Paul Anderson and couple other youths. . 4m ?

Voronin. . depending on if LFC buy a cover strker. . could go for around 4m. . ? but may be the cover strker for Torres next season.

If Navarro comes in . . Dossena back to Italy. . 4m. . ?

If Johnson comes in. . Degen or Arbeloa. . 3m. . ?

Imagine the likes of Lucas will remain as cover for Mascherano, Barry if he comes. . and a lot of guestions around Alonso and all depends on who comes in or whatever happens this summer regarding midfield. .?

Linked with big names like Silva, Villa etc. . but unlikely to happen. . players are priced out of our league at the moment. . but then Rafa did manage to bring in Torres for a big fee. . so fingers crossed that we may get one big signing this season and improve our defence and midfield which might turn those draws of this season into wins next season. . !!!!

The difference in winning the league is only a couple of good signings away.

Anyone agree with the above. . great. . anyone disagree. . challenge it and give your reasons. . the above is accurate and very likely. .

Last season. . same sources named Riera, Dossena and Degen. . all came through.

This season . . this source names Navarro, Anderson and llorentes. .

This source did also mention. . Javi Martinez of Ath Bilbao. . CM but did not mention it above. . and I'm sure he is another option if Barry don't join Liverpool this summer.

Summary. .
IN Navarro, Anderson, Llorentes, Barry, possibly johnson

Finally ronaldo is staying, Nani will be loaned out to wigan for a season long and valencia will go the other way for 15mil.
Sir Alex will sign Mark Schwarzer for 5mil and VDS to retire next season.
Tevez will be released and Benzema will be bought for sure (40mil)
Douglas Costa from gremio and mongil from valladolid will sign for united
  PAFC News

Paul Gallagher will sadly not be staying as Blackburn are demanding £2m for him.

Sturrock does not have much in the way of funds and will have to sell to fund most of his few transfers this season, so expect a lot of players to leave Home Park in the summer.

Sturrock's main target this summer is winger Adam Hammill as he sees Hammill as being ideal to replace Gallagher.
He will also attempt to sign David Gray permenantly, but Sir Alex will not let Craig Cathcart leave just yet.

Leaving Home Park will be:

MacLean – £250k
Folly – £100k
Paterson – £250k
Douala – End of Contract
Mpenza – End of Contract
Cathcart – Loan End
Gallagher – Loan End
Fletcher – Loan End
Judge – Loan End

{Spike}
Any Everton fans that think players like Glen Johnson will be joining for fees like £8m really are dreaming. Everton's no1 target is Sean Davis and this is for one reason – he is on a free. Everton are skint and cannot afford to make big signings unless they sell first. So expect to see Moyes taking a page out of Allardyce's book and looking for bargains, loans and bosmans. This is not a dig at Everton, but purely the truth.
So it looks like Loverpool and Arsenal will buy everyone, whats left off Glasgow clubs. Do you read your rumours yourself, ppl? You just damn ridiculous.

CFC outs:

Anelka (around 12 UKP), Carvalho (10), Malouda (11), Deco (5) are dead certs. Most likely Kalou as well. Ballack will stay on contrary of many reports, but on performance based salary.

Ribery won't be coming. Especialy for that sick rumoured price of MU offer. I would expect Zhirkov deal to be announced on the earliest hour of transfer window for 15 UKP.

Chelsea will bid for both Villa and Benzema, but i don't expect any luck in there. They'll attemp again on both Ibrahimovich and Pato. But there are signs that none of that will succeed.

Ashley Young option is there at about 20 mil. But if Zhirkov arrives, i can't see 35 million investment into one position split by two ppl. And Robinho thing is dead, unless he demands trade, if not ManCity are certainly not willing to let him go.

100% guarantee that CFC will bid for Adam Johnson and possibly Stuart Downing then Boro goes to CocaCola.

Also I expect a bid for Gourcuff of Milan via Bordeaux for about 15 million.

I Can confirm that Roque Santa Cruz will Join Arsenal, This Summer the deals been agreed since Last year And the paperwork was concluded last monday the player signing a pre–contract agreement and It may Involve 1 player joining Blackburn from Arsenal either on loan or a permanent transfer All I can say is the deal Arsenal and Blackburn have reached an agreement for is worth a transfer fee of around the £11 million pound mark.   To the person who wrote

Just back from a meeting with my Everton contact. David Moyes and Bill Kenwright are about to make an incredible bid for Wigan midfielder, Luis Valencia. We're talking about a bid in the region of £15m as a starting point. Valencia is seen by both men as an ideal man to play on Everton's right–wing. The club is expected to break the bank, and its transfer record on this one. Assuming there is no interest from our neighbours in Manchester, I'm confident that this one will come to fruition. This is great news for all Evertonians.

Sorry the deal for him to come to united was agreed last summer between the boss and Steve Bruce.

Just thought I'd say that Arsenal may lose Wenger in the summer to Real Madrid, and that this would actually suit all parties concerned. – Real Madrid would gain an experienced coach, who would help to promote some youth team products through the Madrid ranks, (something Madrid have been lacking in recent years)and also bring beautiful football to the bernabeu. Wenger in turn, will be given a large some of money (£10 million a year) and also a large, VERY LARGE, transfer budget so that he can get the exact players he wants (something he hasn't got at Arsenal) and Arsenal in return will get a new manager, with a new outlook, and a new playing style, possibly getting experienced players, and thus, having more chance of winning trophies.
