I cant see Kenny Dalglish, who values team players and hard workers, ever signing adam johnson.. though they need someone who can score(12)(8)

Burnley are very close to signing three players this weekend as boss Eddie Howe seeks his full first team squad for pre season in July.
The first signing will be Everton youngster Ross Barkley. The 18 year old has been told by boss David Moyes he can join someone up until January and is keen on not travelling far. He will sign for the Turf Moor club until the weekend before the FA Cup third round tie at the start of the year.
Secondly, Brazilian left sided player Fabio will also sign a loan deal but this will be until the end of the season. Howe is keen on getting a really strong squad together with a mixture of youth and experience and the Manchester United youngster will sign until the end of the season.
The last deal will be 20 year old Ghana international Afriyie Acquah. Another loan deal will be arriving at Turf Moor in the Palermo midfielder and will sign until the end of the season with the wages paid by the Italian side.
One deal that will not be happening will be Alex Bruce. The former Ipswich and Leeds defender will turn down a one year deal with Burnley in order to sign a two year deal at League 2 club Cheltenham as he feels he will play a lot more football at Town.(2)(27)Yeah m8

Im a Burnley fan too

I saw Ronaldinho gettin out of a white range rover yesterday, nd he dropped a paper that sed that he was gunna sign for Burnley for his cousin, whos a fan

Nd aquah has allready signed !!

Ross Barkley aint tho, were after Oxlade ;)The Ross Barkley one must be on loan because he looks decent and has been called 'one for the future'.Isn't every youngster one for the future

Reading have enquired after Johan Burg Gudmundson from AZ Alkmaar.

They have also made a £1m bid for Lillestrom's Björn Bergmann Sigurdarson.(25)(7)

We've defo made a bid for the Icelander, so I'll give you the benefit for the doubt on this one, as the first rumour is a proper random one. Who is he?Seems we're just being linked to every young Icelandic player in the world..Probably some fella off of football manager

2 Confirmed transfers Norwich have succesfully completed are the signings of Norwegian and Hannover Striker Mohammed Abdellaoue for an estimated fee of £ 4 million and the signing of Leeds defender Aidan White on a free transfer(11)(36)What's your source?......Aidy White isn't a free transfer he will cost any club around £1.5m in compensationHow is it a free tranfer you numb nut. he's only 19 or 20, so we'll see your compo in the post and he's nowhere near the finished article and when he is, you will be playing championship again , and we will be flying high in the prem. mot4lifeNo we haven'tWell, you haven't. White's contract doesnt expire until the end of the season. So yoiu haven't 'successfully completed' anything, and with proper teams like Newcastle interested, I doubt you even will.
wallyWot a load of bull, white still under contract at leeds so if he joined the leeds rejects at norwich a fee would have to be paidLeeds in the Prem, as deluded as your claim you are the "Champions of Europe"-living in the past and off a defeat, laughable.Leeds are and always will be bigger than little old Nawich that lives off the scraps from Leeds. I mean wots all that about, you'll have a team full soon. When's the last time you had a youth team player coming through. Very sad little club, made famous off the back of a cake making queen...ha haLeeds are and always will be bigger than little old Nawich that lives off the scraps from Leeds. Newcastle utd INS -
Seydou Doumbia
Jadson
Cleverly (season loan with buy option)
Mceachran(season loan with buy option)
Scott Dann
Tosun
Roderick Miranda
Fabian Delph(5)(55)Doumbia is settled at CSKA Moscow; his wages in Russia are already high and I don't see the reason he would like to be third-choice striker at Newcastle.Even if Cleverley or Mceachran do go out on loan I doubt they'll be given an option to buy them as they are seen as bright stars of the future at there clubs.Jadson moved to sao paulo in january so doubt he would moveDo Newcastle really need all of them players! I think maybe 2 or 3 signings will be made this summer by Pardew. They have been linked with a lot of French players as well.

Reading will sign: Marriapa, Sigurdarsson, N'Doye, Clyne and Sigurdsson. They will be given £20m to spend by TSI.

TSI (Thames Sports Investments), the company taking over Reading FC is headed by Anton Zingarevich (worth £200m). O
There are several other investors including AZ's father Boris Zingarevich (worth £3.4bn).

This makes Reading the 9th Richest club in the world in terms of ownership.(17)(37)So much wrong with this.

First of all I'm a Reading fan, but one a little more sensible than this burk.

1) No-one knows AZ's wealth.

2) Madejski is worth £300m, so why would we then spend more than we would under him?

3) His father Boris is also involved and is a billionaire three times over. BUT still don't expect silly money to be spent! The club are investing heavily off field with taking the academy to Cat 1 status and the stadium expansion to 38,000 from next summer (if we stay up).

4) No there aren't several investors. There are two. Father and Son.

Sigurdsson has out grown us. Move on. Grow up!

Mariappa is supposed to be a done deal, as is Butterfield, but again - until you see them presented as Reading players, they aren't and other clubs are interested. Can never have enough Sigs! but seriously, after reading the article on him in the mail i now know we have absolutely no chance of getting gylfi backI'm a Reading fan..but such statements like being the 9th richest club in the world is hugely embarrassing...because the reality is we aren't ....Anton is the club owner ..not his father ...hopefully that now makes us 90th richest now!....yes remember the Tommy Smith saga ....This site ain't the Financial Times eitherFor reading to sign up N'Doye would cost alot of money.. Fc.Copenhagen declined a £9.5 mill. bid on him half a year ago.. so you would have to let go of half of your money :)We are the 9th richest in the world. Anton isn't the owner, TSI is, Anton just heads the company. There WILL be money available, not silly money, but money still. My source is Chief Executive at RFC so yes, I do know Anton's wealth. If it was just the majority shareholder that made the club rich then QPR would be no where near the top ten. We WILL spend as we want to stay up and the infrastructure will be improved if that happens.

Peterborough United To Signed Luke Ayling From Yeovil. £150k(3)(9)He's out of contract at Yeovil so would only require a compensation agreement with the 2 clubs as he is under 24. But he has expressed and intrest in staying with the club for another 2 years before moving on with his career.

05 May 2012 16:19:53
Newcastle united are set for
a busy summer as Alan pardew will
have to look to strengthen his squad
as they are now in europe and they
have a short supply of consistent
defenders. Then he will have to keep
his stars.

Ins
Cristian Pasquato-Juventus
Douglas-Fc twente

Outs
Danny Guthrie

This is all i know so far but theres
bound to be more INs and Outs(3)(17)Ba & Tiotte are leaving,& expect a big for Cisse,all could go with wages trebled,something Newcastle cant do {Ed025's Note - bitter sunderland fan i think..My geordie mates have already said rumours are ba and tiote are off, expect big bids for krul, cisse and cabaye, everyone entilted to their opinions ed so your a poor ed for saying bitter sunderland fan {Ed001's Note - I have not heard one Geordie say anything about them going, only that, if they do go, they trust Carr to find good replacements.}

Ed upson has signed for Yeovil until 2014(8)(5)

05 May 2012 16:11:55
Derby County to make Ross Perry and
Fegor Ogude their first signings.Nigel
is to only sign a MAXIUM of 7 players.
Unless more players are sold.

Krystian Pearce and Michael Jacobs
will become the 3rd and 4th signings
with Jacobs fee only compensation.

Daniel Powell from Mk dons is nigels
Target for the much needed pace on
the right wing and that would be the
5th signing

Lastly Johnny Russell will become the
Last addition to nigels team as hes
repeatly said they need assurance of
Strikers and the board are willing to
step outside their current policy to
make this deal happen this is the only
fee considered to be high with it
reportedly being 950k + 3 players

Paul Dixon will Join the rams after nigel
said they need a young left back as
roberts will be retiring at the next
season and Paul dixon told the papers
hes leaving Dundee united for a
Championship club

You can click the unbelievable button
if you want but this is just to alert
Derby county fans to who will be with
them next season

The players above have all been
scouted and contact has been made.(6)(31)We are cutting our wage bill further than it already is to about £6m so there will be 2/3 signings max. A fact which Clough himself has stated...so a faceless rumour board poster or the manager himself??You say he's allowed to sign seven players as if its not very many. As the above poster said, it will be three signings, a left back, probably Dixon, but not Jack Robinson as has been said by other posters, as he won't be available on a permanent due to him having a future at Liverpool. The other two signings will be a winger (either Jacobs or Pugh) and an unnamed striker.Thats the only paid transfers
ins
Paul dixon Left back
Michael Jacobs Midfielder
Johnny russell striker

The others are only if a player is sold which im told by insiders that blackpool(if they failed promotion)and bristol city
to sign Chris maguire for 500kWe are trying to reduce the wage bill...so we will not be selling 1 (maguire) and bringing in 4.

barnsley to sign alan judge and get antonio on loan from reading as part of the butterfield deal with reading signing butterfield for 750,000 instead of going to a tribunal(14)(11)As Butterfield is out of contract there is no "deal"

Cheers tho.Antonio more likely to stay at WednesdayButterfield is under 23 and has been offered a much better contract by Barnsley so compensation will be paid. Either through a tribunal or a straight fee newcastles rumoured to be offering 2m to beat off interest from other clubsTypical deluded Barnsley fan!Still will have to pay something he is only 21Alan Judge plans to get promotion with Notts County next season. Why are you posting downright lies. What is your scource your over active immagination.

05 May 2012 15:35:40
barnsley to sign mcdonald from sheff u for 300k(8)(18)As McDonald is out of contract in the summer, I guess he will be going for free and certainly not to Barnsley.Laughs out loud. Surprisingly hes already been in secret talks with city rivals Sheffield Wed. This is regardless of the playoffs as hes a fan of Dave Jones who sees McDonald as the ideal partner for the destroyer Semedo

Blackburn are set to lose up to five players on free transfers after Steve Kean told the board he would like to overhaul the squad, whether they go down or stay up.
Vince Grella will sign a one year deal with Russian side Zenit St Petersburg and is keen on linking up with some old teammates as he seeks European football.
Spanish defender Michel Salgado will be released and will be told to find a new club.
French midfielder Herald Goulon has been told to find another club and has already opened talks with former club Le Mans over a potentially signing a three year deal.
German club Hoffernheim are very close to securing Junior Hoilett on a lucrative four year deal and the 21 year old is keen on a move to Germany after already experiencing European football three years ago.
Finally, fringe striker Nick Blackman is set to be released as a free agent.(11)(7)

Burnley to sign:
Alex Bruce (Leeds) free agent
Lewis McGugan (Nottingham Forest) 3m
Cameron Stewart (Hull) 4m
Albert Adomah (Bristol City) 1.5m(4)(27)We havent got that much money to spend, even if we sold Jay

so go back to cloud cuckoo land.I thought burnley had no money to spend... And they had to sell before they could buy..Please take mcgugan for 3mil !3m for mcgugan? Done deal.

Agent 279JEEZ! GIVE UR HEAD A WOBBLE!!!FELLOW CLARETS STOP POSTING UTTER GARBAGE PLEASE!Let's all laugh at Burnley, must have won euro lottery£3m for McGugan? Not a done deal.

Agent 280Leeds fan here - Alex Bruce is one of the most irritating players I've ever seen play for Leeds.

Always looked quite solid and assured (though prone to errors) and didn't have more success in a Leeds shirt due to his constant injuries. Also sounds like he might be a tad tricky to manage - reportedly fell out with Grayson big time, and was well known to leave the ground and drive home if not selected, rather than stick around to watch.

Nonetheless - I don't think we ever saw the best of him and it just didn't seem to work out, so good luck to him in the future.

Isle McLeod is being highly linked with a move to Pompey. He will join if barnet get relegated ! Varney has been linked with Leeds while greg halford to join Sheffield utd. Scott allan to come on season long loan and Kitson,Benjani and Kanu to be discarded which Ashley Harris will be offered a new 2 year deal along with Jed Wallace!(15)(10)LOLz. Barnet stayed up.

Maybe you should concentrate on selling people and paying everyone you owe first, eh?Has mcleod really joined because its mot on offical siteReally dont think you will be offering anyone a new contract! That is if you are still a functioning club and not liquidated

05 May 2012 14:50:09
Marvell wynne is set to join Barnsley for a fee in the region of 450k from Colorado rapids. Practically a done deal

Source - mlssoccer.com(6)(12)NO it's doesn't say that on there siteIf he does sign he is one fast centre back according to FIFA.

Leeds boss Neil Warnock is ready to raid Portsmouth for midfielder dynamo David Norris - and defender Joel Ward.(16)(14)Good then leeds will be relegated or be renamed pompey2

05 May 2012 14:38:39
Why are Kanu, Benjani, Mokoena and Ben Haim still at Portsmouth? surely the administrators would realise that getting rid of them would help save money(20)(2)If they release them they would have to settle their contracts, doubt they have the cash to do so!If you can change the rules, and allow Pompey to cancel their contracts I'm sure they would do it in a flash.

But unlike Scotland, English clubs have to either transfer the players or mutually agree to terminate the contracts (which will cost).Called a contract all for players/agents club still trading. Couldn,t agree more with youCalled a contract all for players/agents club still trading. Couldn,t agree more with youWhy would the players leave?? There on a combined 50-60k a week, what would they get from any other team if they tore their contracts up?They also have to agree to go. You owe then an awful lot of money remember!Benjani has gone his contract ended

Appleton due at the Hawthornes on Tuesday for a formal interview for Manager...(12)(19)He was a coach there so maybeNo manager, no money, don't own a ground or training ground but supporters are still talking about which players will join!
Talk about fantasy football!
Must be something in the water down there-not long ago their 60+ year old wizened MP talking about his 20+ year old Russian mistress was all about true love!Appleton will be interviewed. He is very well liked at the Hawthorns.

Id love to know where they get the news on Grabban and Revell from. And that Andy Williams has been shown round our stadium and its on the official website......theres nothing on the official website to do with it!(2)(6)Perhaps he is performing a concert there, nice to hear moon river and all the classics again!Revell's family arnt settled up north apparently and andy williams and a winger supposidly lionel ainsworth been to look round ground

05 May 2012 13:53:35
Real Madrid have made a £20m offer for Arsenal midfielder Alex Song. Wenger has been tracking Yann M'Vila and Javi Martinez and if he can sign one of these two then Song could well be off. Liverpool are readying an £8m bid for Madrid's Lassana Diarra.(8)(17)£20mil for Alex Song?!! lol...Song is worth nowhere near £20mWenger wouldn't sell on a young starter without contract pressure. Song's good season, and the paucity of cdms make him worth a truckload in AW's overall project.

05 May 2012 13:50:15
just heard neil warnock interested in steve morrison of norwich possible swap with snoddy going other way big daft lad hope its not true(7)(26)Leeds can't afford that lol. Next please.I hope not to, leeds lad ok for championship morison has 10 prem goals, leeds lad is playing at his level in championship, howson much better. Bechio paynter somma all crapMorison is a Premier League striker with more goals this season than many others with bigger reputations, he'll be staying at Norwich, not dropping down the leagues.

Hartlepool are closing in on the signing of Durham born striker, Steve Howard on a free transfer. He will add much needed fire power. Expect goals from him in League One.

They also have Newcastle's young midfielder, Greg McDermott on trial aswell as young Middlesbrough players, Jonathan Grounds and Jonathan Franks.(8)(2)

05 May 2012 13:01:08
Tottenham are rumoured to be interested in bringing Michel Vorm to White Hart Lane as a replacement for Brad Friedel with Steven Caulker moving to The Liberty Stadium on a permanent deal in exchange(13)(18)They wont let caulker go as they see him as an important future player, whether that next season or the one after so no chance he will be used as a bargaining chipLike wed sell Caulker. He is a future england centre backHeard it was krul they afterWhy would spurs buy a decent keeper and then send their most promising young player there for next to nothing. if i were told to find a keeper id get rui patricio (sporting club portugal) or steve mandanda (marseille)

05 May 2012 12:19:40
SOUTHAMPTON have shown interest for out-of-contract Newcastle midfielder Danny Guthrie.

But it is understood that Alan Pardew is still keen to keep the 25 year old. Everton, West Brom and Wigan have been rumoured to be interested.

JS635(18)(10)It seems as though he would like to move back to the Midlands, so Aston Villa, West Brom, Stoke or possibly Birmingham, Leicester or Wolves could be an option.

Doubt he'd leave Newcastle for Southampton

05 May 2012 12:15:20
Ipswich look set to sign Michael Bostwick from stevenage for £250k. Jewell wants to add height to the spine of the team alongside Drury, and see's the tough tackling goalscoring defensive midfielder as replacement for leadbitter.(9)(9)

05 May 2012 11:56:50
U's ever-present right back, Brian Wilson, will look to sign a new contract next week; once the final game is finished today. He commented: "I'm keen to sign again. I don't know about the other lads but I can't see why any of the other players won't sign because it's a brilliant club"

Wilson has played every minute of every game so far this season (49). He will look to extend that to 50 against Notts County today. This will make him top of the U's appearance charts this season.(2)(0)

05 May 2012 11:28:02
Izale Mcleod has signed a 1 year contract at Portsmouth as he failed to sign a new deal at Barnet.(9)(22)Who is going to sign a deal at Pompey until they know whether they can be paid?
The money runs out in a few weeks. He wouldn't have played for Barnet today if he'd already signed a contract elsewhere. Also the Bosman rule is different in England than in Europe. Barnet would have to have accepted a bid and given permission to talk to the player, and they haven't.

Only in Europe can players in the final months of their contract talk to other clubs! {Ed007's Note - Players can sign a pre-contract for a club in a different FA six months before their contract expires, to sign for a club within the same FA it can only be done one month before contract expiry.}What are the rules on signing players when in administration?

05 May 2012 10:29:29
Sunderland are ready to pull out all the stops to convince Junior Hoilett to sign in the Summer(17)(16)Hes stated he doesnt want move up north and is hoping to move to a london clubThink the lad has his heart set on a move to spursWhy surely Hoilett wants to play for a good team, not with average overrated crap eg. Cattermole, Campbell, Mignolet etc.Hoilett is a very good player and expect him at a big club next season. Sunderland have no chance.Heard it too,he has said he wud love to work with O'neill

05 May 2012 10:29:08
Paul Ince is in talks with Jez Moxey and Steve Morgan about taking over from Terry Connor. Terry Connor will be offered the role of development coach, as Paul Ince wants to bring in his own backroom team, a budget of around £5m will be avaliable to make sure the club win promotion at the first time of asking.(9)(19)Ohhh £5m they might get 2 decent players for thatMy god morgan is thinking big lolLeague 1 beckons then if these clowns are given jobs.

05 May 2012 10:17:51
When did Ian Harte have a bust up ? He played against Birmingham then flew to Mallorca with Reading fc
They only flew back yesterday so why are they training at all. Brian mac doesn't argue. Ian Harte is fine.
In fact Ian is class. Can't think why you would think he'd join Leeds utd especially after what they did to Reading fc
Forget that one ! Wishful thinking(13)(14)Firstly, don't be so naive. EVERYONE argues at some point. Brian isn't a god. So stop acting like he is. Secondly, the post didn't actually give you a time frame, the bust up could have easily happened in the end of season fitness tests and fitness MOT's before leaving for team holiday. Use your head, you are no more in the know than the other guy, and being a fan doesn't automatically mean you know Brian personally. What did Leeds do to Reading? A kid got sent off because he got over-excited and Danny Pugh (who has played for Stoke remember) slid in a bit hard. Its the Championship. Grow up.
I do agree with you though, Harte won't return to Leeds, for the same reason that we didnt sign Robinson; age. Oh, and 'never go back,' and all that.
wallyThere hasn't been any bust up."What did Leeds do to Reading"

ask jem karacanJem Karacan broke his ankle after a brilliant and fair challenge where he fell awkwardly in the aftermath, one of the only fair challenges michael brown has done all season. Tell him not to try and do the amateur dramatics and he wouldn't be injured. Why would Harte care about an incident that didn't involve him? Remember Harte is Gary Kelly's (Leeds legend) nephew and he got into English football because Gary got him a contract with Leeds while he was there. They Both love Leeds and didn't want to leave (couldn't afford Harte's wages and Kelly only retired because Wise was a TW-T and he didn't get on with big Ken)Scissor tackles are fair? I also like how Pugh's horror leg breaker tackle was described as "Going in a bit hard". No wonder Leeds had one of the worst disciplinary records in the league last season.

05 May 2012 09:56:34
Swansea will NOT be getting Sigurdsson. They are now out of the running. If no big club comes in for him he will stay at Hoffenheim or move to Reading.

Swansea had a £4m bid laughed at by the manager. They cannot afford any more and they knew the bid would be rejected, but wanted to try and make an effort to please the fans.
They may look to sign Clyne for a tribunal fee however.(18)(13)Swansea is better than readingHaha this is funny, swansea had a 5 million pound rejected and they have said that was a "warm up bid" they know they will have to up the money and hoffenheim have said 7 million and its a done deal! also gylfi has said he WANTS to stay at swansea, dont believe me? click in sky sports news in google then get back to me!Sigurdsson is also better than Swansea. Why would they sell him for £7m when they bought him for £7m? And he's now worth more than that. They will deal at £8.5m, no less, which Swansea can't afford.Gylfi was not going to say " I want to go somewhere else" is he, especially when there is games left. Also he has said "he would love to go back to Reading". Why would you do a warm up bid when you knew the price tag and Hoffenheim said they will not accept any think less. But he will go to a top 6 club or a European giant. Also the price tag is 10 million.

05 May 2012 09:44:44
Isle McLeod to sign for Portsmouth with the money raised from the sale of Jason Pearce which is £500,000(6)(23)Think there might be a few creditors interested in the Pearce fee before new players, wake up and face reality!I don't think so you small minded fools. That money is to keep you running as a football club. Currently you only have enough money to survive until June. That money will help see you into July. 15 more players must go before you can realistically start spending; and when you do, you'll need a new owner and they don't seem to be lining up do they? The money raised from the sale of Pearce will be used to pay the wages of those left behined - for 1 more week! So, you have raised half a million but don't intend paying off any of your creditors!!
Same old Pompey-rip off anyone you can and live in never never land.
You lot are just a disgrace to the football world and the sooner you are put into liquidation, the better. So i see another fan saying how pompey should go out of bussiness you wouldnt be saying that if it was your clubJust to point out that Portsmouth don't have a training ground at the moment because their contract with Southampton University has run out. I'd imagine they would want to use the £500'000 to put towards resecuring that training ground to prevent having to train at a school..Fans are simply saying the above because you only go out of business if you are running a business.
You lot think you are some sort of charity and whilst you are playing at the job you are defrauding many local businesses-who are trying to run a business-out of their money.
Just try and understand it does require money to run a football club and you have very little left, and yet you still seem to think players will flock to your door without any job security.
Don't blame other fans for these views, you should be blaming the idiots who got you into this mess.If my club had been in administration twice in 3 years, 3 times in 10 years, and broken a CVA because they continued to sign players on 40k wages, yes I would want my club to be scrapped. It's disgusting!!

Start a fresh and work your way back up and earn the respect your fans deserve; but that club stinks!!You football fans are sooo thick...we have got him on a free....we wont start paying him until july 1st....so are spending money? NO idiotsI think the person tag is closer to home mate.
Your administrator says you will be out of money by July-so who pays his wages?

Martin Rowlands is to leave Colchester United at the end of this season after a short term deal. His poor injury record persuaded boss John Ward to release the former QPR man.(4)(1)

05 May 2012 07:53:59
Millwall are hoping to sign Colchester goalkeeper Ben Williams, who has been watched a number of times by Millwall scouts. They also want Ipswich defender Aaron Creswell, but maybe out priced by Charlton and Peterborough who are also interested.(3)(13)Why not keep the one you have, I thought he was pretty good.

So Ian Harte had a bust up on the training ground with the management? when was this, as the whole team including management is currently in spain enjoying a holiday?(7)(11)Well, actually they got back yesterdayWhen they got back is irrelevant, firstly they wouldn't be in training now and secondly ian harte is the last person to have a bust up. what an utter load of made up tosh. There has been no bust up. The team celebrated the trophy presentation then flew straight to Spain for a knees up. They got back yesterday and Ian has a new contract on the table.

It's kids making up stories!

ed any blackpool rumours {Ed025's Note - if you dont win the play-offs then wolves will move for holloway..(8)(9)Radio Lancs carried an interview with Holloway just before the play off game on Friday. Holloway mentioned the interview that Brian McDermott had with Wolves after they sacked McCarthy and he went back to Reading and then signed a long term contract after realising what a good job he already had. When asked if the same was happening with himself and if he wanted a long term contract with Blackpool; Holloway said that it was currently under discussion and was in the hands of Karl (the theif) Oyston.

Southampton's Japanese striker Tadanari Lee is a loan target for Crystal Palace and Derby as they fear he will not get many first team opportunities(7)(28)Except he will. NonsenseThats rubbish hes our 3rd choice striker! He is not third choice. He was playing regularly until he got injured then sharp got 8 in 8. Lee had to have an foot op so will be back to get his place backHe is 3rd choice! Lambert and Sharp are the top 2. Im sorry but based on the form of the partnership of those 2 they are the top 2.Lee and lambert were up front together before lee got injured and he was good enough to stop billy sharp getting his spot , he is our number 3 or even 2 strikerWe will be bringing in another top striker.tadanari is still a very important squad player and great asset to bring onLee was not signed to be put out on loan. The Premiership demands a certain amount of rotation, and injuries and suspensions will add to it.
Why loan out a striker and when you recall him because he is needed you find he is injured or exhausted? He's a great player who we need on the bench at least

05 May 2012 05:12:06
Steve Cotterill believes he can persuade on-loan Birmingham forward Erik Huseklepp to join him at Nottingham Forest if Birmingham fail to reach the Premiership. He will be Forest's number 1 target this summer.(12)(15)No because Nottingham Forest will go down next season^^ derby supporter lol^^

all you ipswich fans are crazy thinking joel ward will sign for you hell sign for a top six side(2)(9)Doubt it. He's good, but not that good. You lot down there just love him because he's local.Quite honestly we couldnt give a fig one way or the other, if he signs for someone else so what, we only want players that want to come to Ipswich and play for the club, so we will see by August who comes and who doesentPompey cannot afford to pick where a player goes, bid comes in they go.Is that why he plays for portsmouth ?

05 May 2012 02:13:36
David Clarkson is wanted by league one side Walsall, Clarkson who has recently been released by Bristol city is currently injured but will be offered a trial /contract by Walsall in the summer

Walsall are also still interested in signing midfielder Darren Carter in the summer, Carter has been training with the Saddlers on and off since he recovered from his injury which he picked up for Nottingham Forrest reserves earlier in the season

'Lolo' (Osasuna) - £1.5million

Obviously we aren't going to sign all of them. Well, probably not even one of them but these are RUMOURS for a RUMOUR site.(12)(23)Just to add to that I've heard we're going in for Junior Hoillett from Blackburn if they get relegated. A proper right winger which is something I feel we've lacked last season^^ lolOh dear god! Hoillett will not sign for us! He will be for a top 6 side at least! Not Saints fan but 2 mill for Matty Phillips, dont thinks so try 4 mill.

Also I notice that Jay Rod isnt on this list and this has been the biggest rumour going. oh well that makes me a happy claretClyne wont be 5 mil, hes out of contract, tribunal will be about 2 mil, doubt hed go to soton either, man u are interested

Summer Transfers

Jackson Martinez
Gaston Ramirez
Belhanda or Matias Suarez

Blazing Angel {Ed025's Note - but for who???(0)(6)Liverpool, yeah?Matias suarez has agreed a deal with arsenal already. younes belhanda is either going to stay with montpellier or move to psg. jackson martinez has been linked to loads of clubs so you might not get him. while gaston ramirez might move or he might not

05 May 2012 00:09:22
been hearing PSG want sessegnon and are willing to do a player trade sessegnon for Kevin gameiro. A striker sunderland have been interested in before. Never seen him play before so dont know if hes any good but I hope it's not true I'd rather keep sess he's top class(3)(11)Gamerio is a quality striker, but sunderland would want cash aswell, maybe 10-15m plus gamerioUtter tosh. Listen to yourselves. Gamerio is rated by his club at 20mil and is linked with Arsenal and Newcastle. There is no way he would want to play for Sunderland... Ever. FACT and because the word fact is in capitals it is true. FACT

Bristol city will have Michael Owen on season long loan this is a dead cert I know just trust me! Can't wait coyr! {Ed025's Note - hmmm(3)(43)On loan from who ? He,s out of contractWeird how his contract is ending. . . And would he really go to you anyway? Nah :)Doubt it- We had a high profile, highly paid goalkeeper for the last 2 years and whilst he did a good job,we were not willing to pay again

Ian Harte could make a shock return to former club Leeds after he rejected a new contract at Reading after a training ground bust up with Brian Mcdermott and assistant Nigel Gibbs. The news has alerted Neil Warnock who is looking for a new left back after their former first choice Paul Robinson was recently released because of a number of poor performances(3)(44)This has false press written all over it. Whats your source?!The season has finished and they are no longer on the training ground. i know some leeds fans are desperate to see some good players coming in but making up stupid rumours will not help. Go back to the drawing board.I really can't see this at all. Ian Harte has worked hard over the past three years and has finally got a chance to show what he can do in the premiership.

Reading have supposedly offered him a new contract, and i'm sure Harte wouldn't waste such a good opportunity.

I'm a Leeds fan, and really hope to see him have a good go in the premiership.Nice try LOLeeds.

There has been no bust up. The team celebrated the trophy presentation then flew straight to Spain for a knees up. They got back yesterday and Ian has a new contract on the table.

SSN reporting Butterfield to Newcastle but Reading have already agreed a contract, now just a tribunal has to happen. Please take Jamie O'Hara off our hands, he's lazy and useless and if we can get back the £3.5m we paid for him I'd bite any teams hand off.

Man City want Gareth Bale for £40M and players deal. Don't see it going ahead but if it does £35M plus Adam Johnson and Emmanuel Adebayor would be a good deal for Spurs!!(5)(30)Gareth b
ale is worth no more than25/ 30 to any clubThats why no club will get him then if clubs are going to offer the pathetic 25-30 mill you reckon {Ed025's Note - very good player...but worth £30m? ..not on your nelly,,And Andy Carroll is worth how much {Ed025's Note - 10 bob...lol

Paul groves will be next Bournemouth manager for a term of 2 and half years he will be assisted by Steve jones or Shaun brooks who ever will get the assistant job will go to the youth team set up(2)(1)

04 May 2012 19:48:03
Ipswich to sign adam clayton(5)(24)Adam Clayton the bass player of U2 ?The reason clayton didnt sign new deal is beacuse he wants to play for a club with more money and a chance of the premier league. given their seasons and the signings and sales that these two clubs have made already this window, i would say that leeds appear to be willing to show more ambition this window than ipswich therefore u will not buy him

04 May 2012 19:17:12
Ipswich town player Jamie peters will join afc Bournemouth next week for a trail period with the view of contract in summer he was on loan under former manager lee bradbury(4)(4)Bournemouth have not got a new manager yet so why would they be looking to sign players? He also flopped during his loan so can't see them wanting him back

04 May 2012 19:10:43
breaking news...what ever happens to rangers reguardless now means all there players contracts are void .this meaning every rangers player can leave on a free sparking a mass scramble from lower end premship clubs for there players ..rangers players agents are banging on the doors of the likes of stoke .wigan..wba .everton ect..(9)(4)Would that be the unibond premierCant see any premiership team wanting the tripe that you have at rangers, league 1 standard players playing in a league 2 standard league.Take a look at your top 2 division ,how many palyers have came from the spl ! Can't be that bad a standard !!TBH I reckon those players could cope in the lower echelons on the premier league.

04 May 2012 19:01:19
Dempsey To Liverpool 5m+Joe Cole
Brad Jones Blackburn 500K If Robbo Leavs(13)(19)Dempsey is worth more than 5mill and Joe Cole.I'm american - and he's not worth much more. At his age I'd take 7 mil and cole, especially after cole's fairly promising season in france and fulham's track record of being a comfortable retirement home for aging talents.

04 may 2012 18:38:58
any bristol city rumours,(2)(19)

04 May 2012 18:30:16
Newcastle are set to sign Barnsley midfielder Jacob Butterfield on a free transfer aswell as having already snapped up Romain Amalfitano from French 2nd division side Reims.

Erik Pieters, who is PSV and Holland's first choice left back could be signed for around £5m, Montpellier winger Younes Belhanda could be a big money signing for around £10m, but this is only if Newcastle manage to get into the Champions League.

If Danny Guthrie turns down the new contract offer and leaves on a free, then Bolton's Mark Davies could be an option for free, while Peter Lovenkrands, Steve Harper and Alan Smith will leave when their contracts expire.

Xisco, Nile Ranger and possibly Dan Gosling will be looked to be moved on aswell as goalkeeper Fraser Forster closing in on a move to Celtic.

FC Twente centre back Douglas could be signed on another free transfer, which looks a good policy from Newcastle, who only sign players under the age of 26 and who have a good resale value.

If Danny Simpson does leave, which is only a minor possibility at the moment, Mathieu Debuchy of Lille could be signed up as his replacement.

Busy summer on Tyneside to be expected, but only in a good way. No big players will leave unless they bid over the odds, which lets be honest - applies to all teams unless your Manchester City.(10)(17)What about Jan Vertonghen and Jerson CabralSorry but you want be getting jacob butterfield for free hes under 24 so expect to pay at least 1.5 million for him.Ba will go.Yeah, there will be a fee as he's under 24 but it will be classed as a free.

On Jan Vertonghen, he has indicated he wants a move to a London club, so expect him at either Arsenal or Tottenham and as for Jerson Cabral - I've heard nothing about him moving here.

Demba Ba is a possibility, but from what I've heard, he wants to sign a new deal as he has fallen in love with the city and European football will almost guarantee that he won't move, as well as his close friend Papiss Cisse. If montpellier make the champion's league as they're threatening to, they have no reason to sell belhanda - especially not for a paltry 10 mil.

04 May 2012 18:37:34
MK Dons leading the race to sign John Pantsill after his release from Leicester(3)(13)

04 May 2012 18:36:57
Don't you just love it when a NEW team comes up from the championship, they are going to buy every one in sight.........Yes i'm talking about SOUTHAMPTON.

Yes they have done Fantastic to get back in the Premiership, but come on be REALISTIC please.

All i'm saying is DON'T run before you can walk, as everyone knows - the Premiership is a very hard league.(10)(14)Agreed, as proved by Reading, Blackpool, Norwich and now Swansea, you are better off keeping the majority of your promotion squad and add maybe 3 new signings to add some experience.

Any more changes than that and you lose the harmony and work ethic that got you there, and most importantly the team spirit.

Saints fans are getting far too carried away. They should expect maybe £7m spent on the side at most. Same for Reading, who are wisely looking at two or three very good free transfers, and then one or two costly signings.

Remember, it's not about how much they cost!

West Ham could have done with knowing that as well...If your so clued up you would know that saints do thier business behind closed doors, Plus saints would not sign anyone that don't fit in and they definitely wouldn't pay over the odds for a player, So it's not likely that they are going to sign everybody in their sightsSaints will make a maximum of 4 signings and 1 or 2 loans... The Main Stream media assume that they have suddenly come into money that they will be looking to waste. They have always been backed financially but have never got carried away... Watch out for Tadanari Lee (Chung).. he will be one to watch next year... COYRsSaints don't mutli buy that's why they've had back to back promotionsAgreed..Some of the posters on this site listing all these unrealistic players we are going to buy are clearly not real Saints fans...some Pompey no doubt. As will young would say "it feels like jealousy" .......... We are southampton we do what we want! {Ed025's Note - tut tut..Saints to sign 3-4 players max but will be linked with loads - not especially by Saints fans. Anyway i thought this was a rumours site so rumours about Saints targets are bound to happen - nobodys saying they will sign all of them - dont read it if you dont like it.I'm a Saints fan. I don't believe half the rumours posted about who Saints are buying are from fans. We'll bring in 4 quality players this window, as we did before this season. All we will do is create harder competition for places. Adkins is no mug

04 May 2012 18:15:57
Ranieri to be next West Brom boss(15)(15)Just because he is the bookies favourite u state he will b the next manager he wont get the jobI bloody hope not!!^ How do you know?He will be Aston Villa manager next season in my opinion.

West Brom will go for either Steve Bruce or former assistant, Michael Appleton. Why all this talk about michael appleton. decent bloke yes but feel he is not the right candidate

04 May 2012 17:57:34
Burnley yesterday turned down a 5m bid from Fulham for Jay Rodriguez. They also turned down 5.5m in the summer from Southampton.

There is no way on this planet Celtic would get him for 3m. If you payed 10m, he's not furthering his career by going to play in a pub league ... no chance.(19)(6)Pub team you must be talking about burnley, when did you win the european cup,and play in front of 62,000 fans, wake up little boy.And how will he further his career at southampton or fulham he's a championship player at best with potential he would be a regular bench warmer at mid table epl team at bestCeLOLticWould rather play in a pub league with a big team winning medals and getting into europe every season than play for a bottom run off the mill championship team !!Accrington Stanley would make Europe in your league .. Celtic couldn't afford Rodriguez and if he went he would be the best player in that league buy some distance.Mate he's not referring to your club Celtic are a great club in SCOTLAND, on the world stage they don't have a chance. Scottish football is on the decline and has been for years, so why would jay rod move to a club who are possibly in one I the worst leagues in Europe dominated by two sides the rest are league two standard.Whats champions league>?Celtic Fans need to wake up to the fact that there is very little money in Scotland despite the 60k fans. The chances of either scotish teams doing anything in Europe is as likely a Newcastle winning the league

You can play European football for Bangor City, doesn't mean you are "furthering your career"He just scored 21 goals in the championship and is only 22 .. Connor Wickham went Sunderland for 8-10m. Jay has more to his game than Wickham. Quick, strong, good in the air, scores all kinds of goals ... more than good enough for them Prem.So £10m for a championship striker. Arsenal paid the same for a German International and regular goalscorer in the Bundesliga!! No wonder football in England is broken. The value of a player does not rest upon the league in which he plays but the value that he would bring to a new team. We are talking about a very talented young player here and I'm sure his value will be decided sooner rather than later.

04 May 2012 17:39:07
Spurs bid 22m for Thiago Alcantara(9)(29)Be careful - twitchy will take spurs to that planet where clubs live beyond thier means...if you know what I mean....Where did spurs get 22m from. If they had that money they would spend it on a striker aka adebayorWhy would we want adebayor yeah he's scored a few goals for us but defoe has played a lot less games and still got more goals for us, thiago never seen much of him but looks decent wouldn't pay 22mill though 12-15mill and for strikers i'd love to see if we could get rossi or falcaoThiago is on the way to inheriting Xavi's place in the Barca midfield via Fabregas. Barca already went through the noise of getting him fully signed last summer they're not going to toss it away for what amounts to walking around money for them.

04 May 2012 17:22:01
Any Middlesbrough rumours?(4)(14)Yep, you're a small club with a stadium two times too big for you.

When your team struggled in the Premiership your fans always went missing. Terrible attendances.

Now you're in the Championship (where you belong), your fans have started turning out dressed as red seats. Sell-outs every week by the look of it.For the size of our town 140.000 population the crowds are good wat we get as a percentage ,take a look at other clubs

04 May 2012 17:04:20

Reading fc have made offers for Lee Martin of Ipswich, Stephen crainey of Blackpool and Joel ward of portsmouth(6)(29)What is it with all this Reading offers crap, Martin will stay at Ipswich, Ward will go to Ipswich, and Crainie is not for sale at Blackpool, if the Pool win the playoffs he will be staying regardlessThis is news to reading fc let alone everyone else.Wont Ipswich ever sell a player then?Stephen crainey, he is a very slow defender, Leeds had him 2004-2006. He will get found against quick wingers

04 May 2012 16:58:39
Norwich interested in Carlos Cuellar who is out of contract at the end of the season.(21)(13)

04 May 2012 16:56:03
Newcastle and Southampton are set to go head to head for Burnley RB Kieran Trippier(16)(6)Not a chance he's already stated that he's lovin life at the turf and in football terms he couldn't have made a better decision in moving to burnley. Unless your willing to pay a stupid amount of money he's not going anywhere

04 May 2012 16:29:59
Lets be honest Thomasz Kuzcack will not be joining, we are getting more money but still no enough to pay his wages. Watford still no bids for Mariappa which is good. My great uncle kevin lye is a goalie coach at vicarage road and has seen Cwyka there and also Charlie Austin.(3)(19)Would you want Kuzcack ? ever seen his mistakes for Utd at the end of last season ? they almost cost MUFC the title.Kuszczak has been good for us...only one notable mistake and that was in his first game for us. Other than that he has kept us in a few games and made countless top draw saves. Would want him but we can't compete wages wise. Cwyka is possible too, but no way Austin is coming. Not true. Reading have made a bid for Mariappa. Not sure if accepted etc but the bid has been made. And LOL at you signing Charlie Austin.Wow your uncle must have done well to replace alec chamberlain as goalkeeper coach and no one to realise it. a load of rubbish. we dont have the money to sign austin if we dont have the money to sign kuzcackz(not sure on spelling) that is the simplicity. also you must be less than 10 to have a great uncle working as a coach still. stop posting utter bullLOL at you, never heard of two goalkeeper coaches, ever heard of football manager think you find there is a guy called Kevin Lye and btw watford have rejected the bid from reading because over the years we have had a bit of a rivalryThere is no rivalry between Reading and Watford, apart from banter about that "ghost goal". This would certainly not be a reason to stop a deal, so this is a Kevin Lie.Actually i have heard of both and kevin lye does not exist on football manager or on the watford fc website. maybe youre playing it and have created your supposed great uncle and signed austin and in the meantime got confused with real life....

04 May 2012 16:27:44
Yakubu and Livermore(loan) to southampton source:(3)(31)Dreaming again lolSorry how is this dreaming exactly? Compared to some of the rubbish being spouted on here from various clubs this is possible compared to them. This is actually quoted from a football website, so the person who put it on here isnt dreaming as you so put it...Get back in your box, Saints. You're still a small club punching above your weight.

Yakubu? LOLYakubu LOL . I agree and i'm a saints fan. Saints wouldn't waste money investing in a hasbeen. Jake livermoore? really? a bit more imagination pleaseIT WAS ON A FOOTBALL WEBSITE! He was quoting it..No dreaming, no imaginating...just quoting!Yakubu... the same one that played for Leicester and Blackburn (16k max next season) Rovers? Probably jump at joining Saints.Yakubu is ex Pompey and would not go to Southampton.

Reading have reactivated their interest in Zambian Stoppila Sunzu. The centre back, who became African champion with his national side in February, was set to join The Royals some seasons ago, but the transfer failed because his work permit was denied by those days. However, he has earned many caps since then, so he currently has more chances to join Reading in the short term.(5)(15)Bit of a random one aint it? If this was close to happening before then we'd have heard about it... and we didn't.

Noooooo!!"Reading have reactivated their interest in Zambian Stoppila Sunzu"

SINCE WHEN, we have never had any interest in this guy whoever he is.Reading have shown interest in him. He was on trial with us and we wanted to sign him but we couldn't due to work permit issues as the OP has stated. He did have a trial at Reading some years ago.

Southampton FC are interested in Jay Rodriguez from Burnley and Gary Hooper from Celtic and have offers on the table for both forwards.

They are also thinking about making an offer for Daniel Sturridge dependant on who Chelsea sign over the summer and whether he will be a start there or not.

Also thinking about bringing in John Guidetti from Citeh or Luc Castaignos from Inter on loan to add some depth up front - as both are under 21.

They are also looking at Zaha and Matt Phillips to add some pace on the wings - with Phillips it depends on what happens to Blackpool in the play-offs. Riyo Miyachi on loan from the Arsenal is another option being looked at.

Danny Guthrie and Henri Lansbury are also being looked at to add to the midfield options. Guthrie on a free and Lansbury on loan.

Matt Kilgallon and Scott Dann in central defence, Scott Sutter at right back and Erik Pieters at left back are also be considered.(11)(30)Saints fan here...Jay Rod maybe, Gary Hooper wants to stay at Celtic. Daniel Sturridge your having a laugh! Oh and how many strikers do you think we want?! Zaha will end up at a bigger club, the rest COULD be possible. As rumours go that was an amusing read but in reality just one of those potential signings would send Saints fans into raptures!Sounds like a whole new team ...good luck ..ye of little faith in the players that got you there ....wouldnt expect many of those quoted moving to a club where they would be getting plastic splinters every week ..so something has to giveYou haven't got a clue.
If you really are a Saints supporter try to understand what the club are trying to achieve:
Firstly, any signings will be kept quiet until they happen-so your posting is just rubbish.
Secondly, the aim is maintain the style of play that has been successful, maintain the core of the team that has also been successful and build to a situation where 50% of the team is developed internally-why do you think £15m is being spent on training facilities if this was not the case?
All new players brought in will need to be able to not only fit in with a pass and move style of play but will also need to be able to mix into the very strong team ethic which exists and the Saints Way.
Whilst Saints have the resource available they will not pay over the odds and will bring in overseas players if home players appear too pricey.
Just think how Saints have managed to achieve what they have in such a short time and don't think they will be changing that policy whilst they get established in the Premiership.^ Very well said, mate. Think you should copy and post it repeatedly until the prats stop posting their bs.The saints way boot it up to ricky hope for the bestI don't think that this post is that far off. I could quite imagine that they are attempting on all these fronts. However I would imaging that they will end up with 3 maxUmm - if you read it I don't think they were suggesting that Saints would sign all those players - just that Saints are interested in those players. I would expect Saints to sign a striker, a winger a left back and a centre back at a mimimum. So it would be one of those 3 forwards - and it's on record they bid for Jay Rod and Hooper in January.Saints are investing in youth for the future - and the training ground - but that's not going to keep them in the Premier League next season the season after that. Cortese has made it quite clear Saints are here to stay so expect them to spend some money if he is serious about it!"The Saints way boot it up to Rickie hope for the best" - Clearly you havent watched Saints play at all this season..They played the best football in the Championship mateTalk about ideas above your station + how do you think you are going to pay their contracts when you are back in the 2 division ?Whatever way people think or say we play, who cares,it got us promotion back to the Premier League, lot of envy surfacing.Jealous fools.

04 May 2012 15:51:50
Winger Jakob Jantscher has attracted some Premier League clubs to sign him, such as Newcastle, West Brom and Swansea, as well as some Bundesliga sides, like Borussia Mönchengladbach. The Austrian international has been in a terrific form this season, scoring 13 goals in 25 league games for Red Bull Salzburg.(6)(3)He would be a great signing for any mid-table Premier League side. But 'Gladbach is more desperate to find a replacement for Marco Reus (to Dortmund), and Jantscher is seen as the ideal player to play for them.I wouldn't be so surprised... Do you remember West Brom signed Tchoyi from Salzburg 2 years ago?

Poyet having been good friends Diego Forlan and is rumoured to come to Brighton and live rent free. He is struggling to settle at Inter Milan.

(The Sun) FACT. {Ed025' Note - dont buy the sun!!!(3)(32)Funniest so far!I clicked believable as in believable not to buy the sun , the rest is tosh.MASSIVE LOL AT THIS! You plum! The only time The Scum newspaper and fact can be used in a sentence is when something like "does not contain any" is in it.Wow, can't wait to see him linking up with Michael Owen & Beckham.

Laughable, we can't afford Dean Marney from Burnely so why post something like this.

04 May 2012 14:52:35
jermaine beckford and jordan rohdes to celtic(6)(33)No just noWhy would they want beckfordMaybe to replace Hooper-sorry, I forgot, he's not going anywhere. He will just sit it out within a team head and shoulders above any competition north of the border and be satisfied not to stretch himself and see how much he could develope in a competitive league! If so, then he is not the sort of guy who anyone in the Premiership would want-we will see.Wake up and smell the coffee. More chance of signing Laurel and hardyWould love Rhodes but I seriously doubt that Celtic could afford him. You can keep Beckford though!

04 May 2012 14:48:43
Wolves fan here. Adam Hammill is set to leave Molineux and return to Barnsley for £250, approx half of what we paid for him.

I always though he should have been given more of a chance at Wolves because he showed signs of being able to cut it at Premier League level, his crossing was fantastic. Unluckily for him, he just didn't get a look-in with Jarvis, Kightley and O'Hara all ahead of him.

Good move for Barnsley both for the profit they've made and the player returning that they developed so well under Mark Robins.(17)(24)That,s about our limit is £250 Transfer Fee OR Wages?By the way, that is £250kWhat a load of bull. Hammill may well get a look in once a new manager is appointed. And even if he didn't, he won't go to Barnsley and Wolves will sell him at a profit.Barnsley fan- it would be nice to see that happen but honestly cant, with Jarvis more than likely leaving i think Hammil might start getting more games at wolvesHammill played his last game a while ago...and couldnt be happier hes been nothing but hassle since hes been here...., hasnt been in the team for a reason...and thats down to the stinking attitude he has and the unrest he has made inside the club not to mention the numerous fights his had ...biggest one being with wardy ..., nothing better than a championship squad player...., will soon be sold but id say at a profit ...!!

Reading are already a self supportive club there will be money but a limited amount.
They will live within their means.

...dont really care EXCEPT............ NOT S Hunt!Pleased to hear it, so glad the deal went through.Living within their own means, Wow that's excellent news, now tell all the other Reading posters on here, as it seems by all accounts Reading will have a 65 man 1st team squad for next season, lol

04 May 2012 14:41:27
Scotsman Steven Fletcher is linked with a move to Aston Villa. However, the offer will run depending on who is selected as new Villa's manager for the next season.(9)(3)Hope its true,he will score for anyone that gives good service, very underated

preston signings
matty james man utd 300k
jeffrey monakana gunners free
mark roberts stevenage free
scott laird stevenage 200k
chuks aneke season loan
max ehmer season loan(2)(12)Scott Laird from Stevenage for £200k.....No way would he be available for that price, double it and you may just be close.

Love the idea that we would buy a player from Man Utd ..... Fergie wouldnt sell any player to PNE after we potted his son....He also hates us after the trouble we caused with Danny WelbeckJames is out ov contract anywayWe will still have to pay a fee as he is still youngWestley has already said it's 14+ free's, loans and youth players for next season at PNE. As long as they are over 6 feet tall and like hoofing the ball!Have you even watched pne lately they dont play long ball so why dont people get there facts right before spouting nonsense we completely outpassed huddersfield and charlton recently.Fromwhat ive heard. mark roberts wont be joining preston and scott laird is being watched by championship teams.

big rumours around southampton today that steve sidwell could be the first signing of the summer also a rumour floating about that a youngster from arsenal could sign in a deal bringing luke shaw the other way don't know who this could be, but would rather keep shaw as he is tipped to be a future england left back.(1)(24)We wouldnt let Shaw go, especially now we are in the Premier League. And sidwell no thanks

04 May 2012 14:14:50
Heard Oxford trying to off load constabe.
Should have maybe accepted Swindon offer.
Need money, however all this B/S about going into administration is just not true(3)(10)Dont want Constable and he will never play for us now and Paolo has stated he will move on to players who want to play for our club. Also glad we didnt sign him at the time i think Constable thinks he is a big fish at little Oxford whereas if he came to Swindon he would be a little fish as their are bigger and better players than him. Constable is a L2 player and we want better players than that now we are promoted.Swindon did not want him because he messed dicanio about and he said he will never sign him for any club.Who is your source that they want to unload Constable... I hear we are interested in him so may be something in this. Dont think he's had such a good season so his price will have dropped. Think Swindon offered silly money too but agree he is not Division 1 player

04 May 2012 14:14:05
strong Rumours in the westham camp that if they do not make it to the prem there maybe up to 10 players sold to re-finance(14)(2)That's fact not rumour.I would say its a cast iron certainty

04 May 2012 14:13:40
alan judge from notts county to leicester young promising young player just the sort of player pearson likes. fee will be around 500,000(4)(11)Notts fan here, You will have to offer a lot lot more than 500k my friend to even temp himNotts Fan or Notts Chairman? £500k for an unproven player at Championship level to a skint club, I think you will find Notts will snap Leicesters hands off mateIf you have seen him play you will find out hes worth alot more that 500k my friendLeicester linked with yet another non entity from the lower leagues, when will it end for gods sake,we must aim a little higher than that, surelyUnproven at Championship level? You forgot his time with Plymouth at that level where he tore many teams apart. Either you forgot, or you simply commented without having a clue what you were talking about.
Judge is a class player, and now he is playing regularly this is showing through. Will go far, and £500k is laughable for a player of his ability. Notts County have a real gem there, no surprise he is doing well for them. Typical "big club" mentality from LCFC fans, who haven't really got a clue!
Plymouth Dan

04 May 2012 14:07:41
West ham to sign nick powell from crewe and loan him to barnsley, frank nouble will also sign for barnsley on a 2 year contract(4)(19)Hope we dont get noble back !We dont want your crapDo West Ham have the money to buy players to loan out?Actually my nephew plays for Crewe and posted before that West Ham are after him amongst others (no big Prem teams , no offence, like some have claimed). The Barnsley thing isn't true thoughA west ham fan who is talking st just because they think there to good for the championship

Mario Goetze to United, saw him outside cheapside today(7)(30)Where is it published

04 May 2012 13:36:47
Burnley to sign Josh Mcquoid after previously being on loan at the Clarets for a fee in the region of 350k. Brett Pitman could also be arriving from Bristol City, having previously played under Howe at Bournemouth(5)(13)Burnley can HAVE him FOR £500GRD! Thats what WE PAID FOR HIM!Mcquoid has asked to leave millwall. Millwall feel this is a good financial decision instead of letting him run down his contract. use his wages elsewhere

04 May 2012 13:28:53
What I did hear was Dicanio is set for West Ham regardless if there promoted or not.
Where that leaves Swindon god knows as he still has 1 year left on contract. However when has that ever matterd Hoddle/Wise/walked
seems hard on Swindon Fans and Board.
What is amazing is the debt that West Ham are supposed to have and Dicanio is used to getting his own way.Still maybe B/S(4)(15)Allardice??This is Bullhit Di Canio wont go if you have a clear out of players plus he is not ready yet for the championship as a manager.I guess winning the play offs wont help sam, and dicanio negotiating next seasons line up and his contact extension has any bearing on him going to west ham either

04 May 2012 13:28:41
young left back Sam Taylor is wanted

Noises from Liverpool
Watching Adam Johnson!
With Man Blue still determined to spend, his options are starting to decrease - will all depend on the sky blues spending and his possibly ommision from European squad(18)(7)I hope not, even this xenophobic Liverpool manager must have noticed that buying British doesn't not mean buying quality, it usually means overspending. I hope that the American owners say no. And that he the manager should look in Europe for value for money.

04 May 2012 13:11:59
been hearing that brentford are due to sign reading player hal robson kanu on loan for the ramainder of next season(1)(25)

04 May 2012 13:04:12
Matt Jarvis and Steven Fletcher are targets of Martin O'Neil but he will have to get players out for wages sake, transfer money won't be an issue because Ellis Short is going to back O'Neil(11)(10)Players plus cash swap would do nicely

k.doyle 6m

r.jaidi released
l.barnard loan
d.connoly free
j.puncheon 2m
s.de.ridder loan(12)(28)J.puncheon 2m

LMFAO, four million for Jarvis ?I'm a saints fan, and saying we would spend 11 million on two forwards, one being KEVIN DOYLE, is ridiculous. stop posting this tripe, you're making saints fans look stupid. No one wanted Puncheon for 500k in January, why on earth would someone now pay £2m for him, when he played about 5 more games for us and was useless. Pathetic.Doyle - £6M - DEAL
Jarvis - £4M - NO DEALJ Rod has plenty of options i.e:Everton,Fulham,Norwich,Wigan etc,all clubs any player SHOULD choose over Saints, not knocking Saints achievments but he'd be mad to turn down clubs of that calibre for Southampton,as a Burnley supporter i'll be gutted to see him go but the lad has been destined for the big time for a few seasons but i'm sorry Saints are not big time(yet)Saints you dont need to look stupid :)Whoever you are, you have no clue!
If you are really a Saints fan stop posting this nonsense-the fees are stupid and I suspect all the individuals are way off, apart from maybe Jarvis and that has been in the national press for several days.£4 mill for an england international - double it & you're about right. But then you'll be at the back of a fairly big queue of teams wanting to sign himdoyle wont be leaving wolves this i promise you..., jarvis yeah we have all heard the rumours about stoke...but dont be to sure that he will leave either..., and this is a fact not one player from our club would leave and join yours..., you dont have the financial backing for one let alone being able to attract big players...Hillarious...from the apparent Burnley fan...FYI Saints are a bigger club than Fulham, Norwich and Wigan...the jealousy on this site is unrealIndeed Fulman and Wigan 'bigger time' than Saints... what is that guy on. I'm sure if Burnley were promoted you would understand him leaving for Wigan?

04 May 2012 13:00:08
That's rubbish this take over has been going on for ages so there won't be any issues that could prevent the signing of players. Even if the is true ( very much doubt it ) what about the money reading have got through getting promoted. To be honest think this person might be lying(5)(3)

Please bring in a 'name'!

Norwich have changed their focus from Jordan Rhodes to Mohammed Abdellaoue as their striker target.(13)(9)I think Norwich need to concentrate on their defense first. No clean sheet this season and they could not cope with Suarez.Check your facts mate, they have kept 2 cleans sheets this season..........yes 2!

04 May 2012 12:13:52
Sheffield United to sign Brighton's Will Hoskins on a permanant deal. Hoskins only joined Seagulls in the summer of 2011 but he has been limited to first team selection and has played the majority of this season on loan with The Blades. He wishes to move up north due to home sickness.(17)(7)

He is 30.

BREAKING NEWS!! my mate at reading has txted me saying when the take over happens there might be NO money for transfers untill the next transfer window in JAN because of fa regulations and legal issues(14)(15)If your mate knew anything he would know that Brian has been scouting players for months so I very much doubt this. There are no regulations that stop a team buying players once they've been taken over.My mate of a mates cousins dad uncle aunty ... Ed why do you allow people to post this stuff? With no reliable source or even make any sense. {Ed025's Note - ermmm....because its a rumour site..When a club has been sold it has to have a 6-8 week period where the FA check all finances and regularities ..no players can be sold or brought in for that period with money changing hands..but players can be loaned in ..i think hes correct

Charlton to sign Austin, come on wake up!(5)(18)As far as I am aware Charlie Austin is on many Charlton fans wish list not on the managements list of players they can aquire. Well he's certainly on my wish list and lets be honest he's wasted at Burnley.

04 May 2012 10:25:45
Leicester are not going to be signing loads of players like some on here are claiming.

Hopeful on the vardy being completed soon but plenty of interest from other clubs.

Kane is a loan deal, NOT a full transfer, THFC seem up for it.

Bids rejected for Chester and Stewart but won't be the end of it. Stewart seems more likely than Chester who would favour a move to the North West. A lot will depend on what unfolds at Hull.

Koren bid rejected but expect another to go in soon.(13)(3)Cool the more players a club signs = a qpr a team who dont have a clue what there doing..looks like more champship football again for lesta after next seasonFesta have been banging on about hull players for ages. None will happen hull are not in financial trouble, won't sell big name players. Especially to the ladyboys from lesta

Also, Brian Howard to go on trial with Barnsley again and sign a one year contract for next season.(7)(6)Isn't he a bit old and fat now?Gray not offered contract (chronicle)Why would we want Howard back he,s only looking after his OWN interests send him back to LanePreston boss graham westley will make gray his first signing next week this is from a very reliable source.GRAY IS USELESS KEEP HIM AWAY FROM OAKWELL

Watford fc to sign charlie austin with young prospect Sean Murray going the other way(0)(23)Who wrote this rubbish. 1. we(watford would never sell murray to another championship club due to his string of excellent performances. he rejected man city last year to stay with us and aid his development. 2. Burnley would not sell their top scorer to us even if we did finish above them in the league. we need a striker and i would have him any day but this is rubbish because their is no reality in this what so everIf Burnley want to offer £8m + Austin then we might think about it

A Southampton Scout has been spotted at FC Metalurh Donetsk apparently watching Ukrainian International Mykola Morozyuk. I hope this is just a rumour and nothing more as I haven't even heard of this bloke before today.(5)(12)Scouts watch many players, doesnt mean it will go any further.Since upto yet on this site southampton are buying 57 players worth 310 million thats a lot of scouths they must have lolololol

Hot off the press.

Norwich arebin talks with Leeds over Robert Snodgrass. Neil Warnock want Steve Morison to move the other way.(14)(28)I'm sorry, neil Warnock does not want Steve Morison to move the other way, Pull the other one. Morison is one of the worst strikers I have ever seen.Steve Morison has scored 9 goals in the premiership this season, not bad for a rubbish striker is it.Yeah n Beckford scored 10 in the PL n he's carp! Doesn't prove anything u tool Morrison is good in the air n gettin the brews in

Leeds boss Neil Warnock is showing speculative interest in disgruntled Stoke striker Cameron Jerome. Jerome has publicised his need for more regular involvement and this week warned he may have to find a new club as he is in "The peak of his career. The £4 million price tag, which Stoke paid to take him from Birmingham, could be a stumbling block for any potential deal yet speculation has it the quick fire sale of Adam Clayton could be used to fund any potential bid.(4)(25)Peak of his career? That's just sad.

Steve EFCCome on it took him about 90 seconds to score v Everton- he can't be that goodHes got 4 years left to run and why would he want go to leeds a poor low division outfit..he would sooner be on the bench against teams like man united then play for leeds against rochdale lolMaybe he just wants to play for a BIG team? Can't blame the lad really....Stoke are a huge club. Their stadium holds a gigantic 27,000 and they are regarded as an enormous force to be reckoned with in the Premier League. I think its fair to say that the Premier League would badly miss Stoke if they were relegated.

Stoke have also never won a major trophy, emphasizing beyond question the size of the club. There isn't a bigger team than Stoke. They're all massive. He has made noise about not getting starts but is becoming a bit of a favourite coming off the bench. Can see him getting more game time next season if Jones and Fuller are shipped out

cameron stewart either off to leicester or west ham for 5 million quid
and supposely the allams can afford a striker worth 40 grand worth of wages a week but who?
and supposely we could of signed billy dsharp but barmby and Adam pearson didnt want him
plus and the reason adam pearson has left due to wanting to give 100% attention to hull fc(1)(11)That's bull about sharp as he was one of the most wanted strikers in the championship along with Maynard idiotFantastic post............. Obviously written by a delusional 5 year old, judging by the grammar!! There are major holes in this rumour, West Ham won't be making any transfer plans untill after the playoffs, there are far more proven players available for less than 5mil and finally Sharps transfer saga was well reported by the press so if hull were interested it would of been noted!Unlikely any team in Championship will pay £5m for 1 player or wages of £40k a week. It wouldn't stack up under new finance rules

04 May 2012 02:24:20
Wake up and rub the cornflakes off your face, Reading is past history for Gilfy Sig Swansea is his adopted home and he will sign ....(7)(18)Swansea got Gylfi because they were in Prem at time and Gylfi is a Prem league player...Reading are a Prem league team now....so let's wait and see...your post could come back and haunt you ...Hah keep dreaming mate, Hes only there because of Brendon. He loves Reading, his home, family and best freinds are there, he regularly come down to our training ground and speaks to Mcdermot all the time. He would 100% choose Reading over Swansea but this is all irrelivant as he is too good for both of us, he off to a top 6 club.As a reading fan, i think its a load of b/s that either of us will get him. and if im honest i dont want us too, it would be a step back in his career that i would want to see him make. i really hope he does the intelligent thing and goes to a top 6 clubSwansea can't afford him. They could only offer £4 Million. Why would Hoffenheim let him go for less then they paid for him?

04 May 2012 02:21:06
Leroy Lita welcome to go back to Reading, the guy has an ego the size of Russia, what a poor attitude,(3)(18)No thanks, couldnt pay us to take him back.I would swap him for ismael miller.

Southend player Blair Sturrock is due to sign for Hereford United.

Paul Sturrock is very emotional about not being at the same club as his son , and is set to resign and become manager of Hereford United to be with his little boy.

Shrewsbury also want to sign Liam Dickinson with Carl Regan heading in the opposite direction to become Southend's new manager.(3)(7)Ha, no way will Sturrock Jnr ever leave the bosom of Sturrock Snr! We do NOT want him at Hereford!

04 May 2012 00:19:33
Leeds United looking to sign Noel Hunt if Jermaine Beckford's wage demands prove too high(5)(28)No your not, McDermott said that every player who won us the title will have their chance at the big time. Plus he is the most popular person here, no way will he move. Also Leeds cant afford to pay Beckford a packet of hobnobs a week. Never mind the £40K/week the the Foxes pay him. Good Luck!

Walcott also doesn't deserve another chance and Foster isn't good enough anyway. A chance Hodgson may change his mind about retirement but would be a poor choice. Good to see no one include that passenger DowningMidfield has no creativity, cannot string two passes together.ED in one of your replies you say good squad, don't you want Gerrard to go to the Euro's {Ed025's Note - i want all the old guard out mate!...the likes of rio, gerrard, lampard, terry etc.. we need to build a new dynamic side, without these dinosaurs in it!..Does anyone know if arteta is available for england? hes been in england for a few years and may be qualified now and i dont think hes played for spain. but walker will def get in ahead of johnson. phil jones cos of his versatility aswel.i think chamberlain might mis out due to his lack of starts over the course of the season. will bent be back aswel? no downing please!Arteta cannot play for england as he has represented spain u17s at the u17s world cupNo terry please

Fulham is preparing an offer for Sevilla's favourite Gary Medel. The West London club wants to cover and/or replace Dickson Etuhu with the tenacious Chilean international.(4)(4)

03 May 2012 22:52:15
Liverpool will attempt to sign Chilean international Mauricio Isla from Udinese Calcio in the summer, once he recovers from an injury. Dalgish wants more serious competition for Glen Johnson at the right back, and versatile Isla is one of the main candidates.(6)(11)Pretty sure he is a winger.......For Udinese he plays either as winger or central midfielder (when Dusan Basta at the right flank). But for Chile he certainly plays either right winger or right back.

03 May 2012 22:33:15
Kieran Lee, Oldham's multiple player of the year award winner for the past two seasons, considering contract offer from Preston North End.(3)(6)Why would Lee drop down the league to a team in so much trouble? I dont think you could afford his wages as he's the best paid player at Oldham and you would have to break Prestons' wage structure to get him.Would,nt think wages would be a problem pal we pay ridiculous amounts of money in wages and we have a multimillionaire owner who has promised to back westley. Preston will be challenging for the title this year without a doubt so why would.nt lee join.

ST- MARTYN WAGHORN(4)(27)Er, you wish! lol

You need to bring your finances down big time for the new fair play rules that come in for next season.

No chances for all those new faces until a lot of expensive dross leaves.Only 4 new players which won't cost much so should fit financial fair play rulesSouthampton are said to be looking at mini schmike...I heard Spurs want Schmeichel as a future replacement for Friedel and Cudicini....Incorrect the FFP rules are only a guide for the enxt 2 seasons, after which time they are permanent. So strictly we dont need to adhere to the rules just yet.

Izale mckloud is joining Pompey from barnet(1)(17)No one is joining Pompey until they get a new owner! Its players leaving not the other way roundYou can't even spell his name! 18 players need to leave before you buy.Why would he leave the security of a well run club to join that lot....Barnet will pass them sometime soon.....Lol someone even edited his wikipedia page to say this

It's like the saying if it ain't broke, dont try to fix it! Which is why he will probably go back millwall, if spurs get europa then probably in jan?The Kane deal is a loan anyway and Tottenham are up for it.

"Southampton is his main option after Manchester United stopped showing interest." - Hoffenheim website on Sigurdsson(10)(29)Link?Dear god please stop....Saints fan here and this is just stupid now. {Ed025's Note - i agree mate..Im a saints fan and its embarrassing these rumours !! cant we make realistic rumours...You Saints fans are living in another world. Sigurdsson is going top four, not a newly promoted Premiership club - and that's from a Reading fan who Gylfi would have gladly come back too, but he's clearly outgrown us as well now.

Good luck to him. But unless you're a top four club you can forget about it!

And Reading get a 30% sell-on of profit, hence Hoffenheim wanting £10m and not a penny lower..He'd want to play in an eleven man team ...not a one man team ...so no chance ..He will only go to Southampton if nobody else wants himLol at the Reading fan, it's obviously not true, don't get so het up about it. Meant to be quiet in a library...anyway, why would he gladly come back to you if he could get top 4? Your old news. Grow up and forget the past. We had walcott, bale and chamberlain. We are going to sign them all as we had them once. Sarcasm btw. idiotGuys this is ridiculous now, sigurdsson is either going to top 6 team, but swansea have first option to buy him if they can cough up 6-8 million, dont believe me? go to google and put in swansea evening post it the main sport heading!

Dexter Blackstock Spotted At Moor Farm {Ed025's Note - maybe he was strawberry picking?..(5)(11)Wow, I've heard some carp, but Blackstock to Derby. The same Blackstock that labelled Derby fans a 'disgrace' for the Doughty chants (which were shocking btw). Don't think the fans would take too kindly to him though.Sadly its true. He said he can't wait to play in front of away followings that number 279 at times;)Strawberries on a moor? {Ed025's Note - no a farm!Least we know he wasn't strawberry picking with Andy Reid, does he even know what fruit is? 5 fruits a day Andy, not five burgers.Suppose it could be true, must get tiring seeing all those empty pink seats every other week, when he could be playing in front of 30k

03 May 2012 22:04:24
I have heard that peterborough has just put some people on the transfer list and realised some players.

Goalkeeper Joe Lewis come to Watford because Watford need a goalie (no offence Loach, even though you had a good last game!!)(2)(5)I'm a Posh fan and I wouldn't wish a keeper like Lewis on anyone! He's been awful for us.We have Scott Loach and Johnathon Bond. Loach is still a good prospect, and Bond has been playing in League One and is still a teenager.

Colchester midfielder Anthony Wordsworth.

Dag&Red keeper Chris Lewington.

Crawley youngster Hope akpan.

Liam Larwence, Sylvian Eblanks Blake, Sam Boldock, George Boyd and Paul Coutts are also on Chris Powells wish list.(7)(14)SEB will not be leaving Wolves will score goals for fun in championship and Fletcher n Doyle may be on their way out so SEB will be first striker on the team sheetAntonio can leave Reading for £1.5m

Chruch can go for a packet of Frazzle's and half a Mars Bar.

You will not find a worse striker, trust me!George Boyd ideally would probably like to progress his careerThe only one of those that makes any sense to me is Paul Coutts.

Charlton to sign Charlie Austin or Jay Rodriguez from Burnley. {Ed025's Note - forget about rodriguez mate..(1)(29)If Jay goes anywhere its to a Premier League club! {Ed025's Note - true..Thats the FUNNIEST thing IVE heard for a long time!ha ha ha etc!I CANT STOP LAUGHING!!!I can't stop laughing either, why is a decent player like Austin at Burnley I mean it makes no sense does it?Doesnt make sense, who do you support - person united

I agree with the laughing comment though, and if either Austin or Jay go it would be to a Prem club. From what papers have said, Everton are in for Rodriguez, so even when we fail to find the cash, he still won't be caught dead at Charlton.

fryatt
fryers
will keane
roseinior

also leeds are hoping to buy jack hobbs from hull city
and hull city maybe be tempted to go for the free tranfer in joe lewis, matt clayton but they need a striker(7)(12)Not sure how believable it is but Hull's owners have said none of the first team are for sale (Already rejected bids for Koren and Chester in last 2 weeks)

Hobbs is out injured until Christmas and Leeds couldnt afford him if he was fit anywayWouldn't it be easier for Leicester to just put a bid in for the whole of hull?

David Beckham is looking to move back to England after Posh spice is rumoured to be interested in a modelling job in London and the Beckham's wanting their children to be schooled in the UK. But as Beckham is nearing the end of his career he just wants to play week in week out so is most likely to join a Championship Club. Charlton, Brighton, West Ham (providing they don't go up) and Wolves are all interested. The deal is most likely to include a clause which allows Beckham to complete his coaching badges and progress through to management at the club he signs for.(5)(42)LOL! Firstly Beckham already has his coaching badges. . . Secondly your saying he would reject the premiership to go to a team like them? I think not, if he was to go to London it would be QPR or Tottenham but hes ending it in LA after he recenly signed a new deal, also how do you knw what jobs Posh is offered? And Brighton no chance.Utter tosh becks has said he aint intreated in managementCharlton are not interested and neither are the Charlton fans so do us all a favour and sign for someone else.Huge Wolves fan and as much as I'd love this to be true, Posh n Becks in Wolverhampton ooh me thinks not lol.

BobbybuffonThe most overated player ever in english football we dont want hin back here he thinks he is a yankDoes anyone actually see Beckham being a manager?
Regardless of the fact he has or is doing his coaching badges, he's one of the richest footballers ever. I can't see him stood in a dugout when he could do a range of other things that'll pay him a lot more.

03 May 2012 17:58:07
Any Brighton rumours?(1)(15)CHAMPIONES>..........Div 1 where you belong

03 May 2012 17:53:49
Portsmouth are expected to be bought out by Multi-Billionaire Al Hurad Alij, Appleton has stated if this takeover happens then he will try and keep around 10 players and bring in a lot more. Appleton also expects some loan signings from Man City, Man Utd or West Brom.(5)(39)Absolutely deluded!
Bye bye Pompey.Hope soI'm glad they keep the daily dose of humour going,.The most gulible fans in the league...Why would anyone buy you when there are a dozen clubs with better facilities, training grounds, academy's,bigger fan bases and championship or premiership status....Is this the same as the your previous 5 owners who all claimed to be multi billionaires, but turned out to be freuds and crooks?

Or is he just made up (must likely)Just looked up the billionaires lists worldwide, guess what, no such name of Al Hurad Alij, so either your spelling of this prospect is wrong, or your clutching at straws, the later comes to mind

03 May 2012 17:48:03
simon grayson is after adam clayton(leeds) and he wants to swap for rhodes as he highly rates clayton and he bought him from man city and enjoyed working with him looks like the might whites are gonna snap up jordan rhodes(7)(30)No chance. Rhodes will end up with a Prem clubJordan rhodes to leeds? are you high!
Theres so much wrong with this statement
1. clayton too good for hudds
2. rhodes too good for leeds
3. IF huddersfield go up whats stopping them from finishing higher than leeds nxt season with the money they have
4.its just not gonna happen kidda
5.UTTNot sure ths will happenDream on sunshine. It will never happen, not in a month of sundays. Rhodes will go to a prem club or even stay with Hudds if they get promoted which is expecting a lot!

I heard today that Di Canio has had a row with Swindon board over players and thrown his toys out the pram. Surely on his way.(8)(17)Who's Surely? And I cant believe PDC has fallen out with anyone. Such a calm, thoughtful, careing sort of guy.......Only a matter of time
swindon fans skould
know thatLoad of carp!! PDC is very happy...he was in great spirits last night at the legends charity match in aid of the Wiltshire air ambulance, his interview along with Lou Macari was brilliant. He stated just last night that he was already planning for next season WITH Swindon. On this subject well done to everyone involved last night!! It was great fun to watch and loads of money was raised for a great cause. This rubbish posted by a jealous Oxford fan. Paolo is planning for next season and has stated so.

Southampton possible in's
Kasper schemical GK , Marc muniesa CB , Sebastian ruddy MF
Alberto Paloschi ST all these are strong source's for the coming season
-------------------------------------
Muniesa has just signed a new contract which has a 30 million euro buy out clause and he has just been promoted to Barca's first team for next season.(5)(11)Leeds fan here - i wouldnt bother with Schmeichel. he had problems with defensive communication all of last season (and leicester havent achieved much with him this year as well) there are much better keepers out there, and tbh from what ive seen, your current keeper Davies is better than him anyway. Why would schemicael Leave Leaicester for Southampton when he said he loves the club and had the best season hes ever had. hes going no where plus Tottenham want him.Does this guy come on each evening with rubbish rumours re Saints? Certainly seems like it.
There are no strong sources from within Saints-they will do their business quietly and once the deal is done make an announcement, so any strong sources are more than likely to be lads who sit in the neighbouring seats at school!Muniesa and paloschi are just outrageous suggestions, why do the teams coming up think they can sign these type of players!?!?!?!?We are southampton were sign who we want {Ed025's Note - you are southampton..and get what your given!..Paloschi - looks pretty poor wouldn't say he's out of our league. 5 goals for Chievo. WOW

03 May 2012 17:14:38
Since Bas Dost rejected a move to Aston villa, it looks like they will turn there attention to Manchester city star John guidetti, the swedish striker has been out on loan at feyenoord this season and has scored 20 goals in 23 appearances in the league, Manchester city may want to loan him out again instead of it being a permanent move(3)(7)Aston Villa just want to focus on staying up, they will then deal with the manager and then that is when they will sign new playersVilla didnt even enquire..... so how cud he turn us down. His agent like all agents are makin BS to get more money from agent fees

03 May 2012 17:08:19
Southampton are looking to take Jerome away from stoke, seen recently that Jerome wants first team football and is fed up with life at stoke, because tony Pulis has no trust in him for the premiership games and only Europa league which stoke are not in next year, southampton looking for pace and power and feel jerome could be a good 4 million buy which would tempt stoke to part ways.(15)(25)Wont know who saints are
after till they have been
signed thats the way
saints do transfersHes on a 4 year contract and isnt fed up with stoke since he lives in birmingham lol which is 30mins down the rd ..and pulis dont sell players and stoke dont need 4 million..god reading and southamptoon fans with there made up storys are worsse then lesta fans lolCameron Jerome 4mil? ...er, no thank you. Norwich possible signings:

Kyle Naughton - Great loan spell loves the fans and club wants to get his career going
Henri Lansbury - Again good loan spell last season and is wanting a permanent move away from arsenal in the summer
Dani Pacheco - Would love a return to Carrow Road and he has been missing all season
Michu - Paul Lambert has expressed his interest and he likes the sound of the club from pacheco - attacking mid scores lots of goals
Moses - Wants to leave wigan and will be availble for buy as we need one more pacey winger
Adam Clayton - Put on the transfer list by neil warnock and could link up with howson and johnson
Jordan Rhodes - PL a big fan and deal looks possible as hudds may not go up
Ricardo Vaz Te - PL was upset to miss out on him in the summer and may try to get him this time round
Chris Gunter - Long interest and looks like we may wrap this one up
Kyle Bennett - E Benno's brother - wants a move from relegated donny so lambert may give the startlet a chance at the canaries
Curtis Davies - Need to strengthen the defence so he could be the man

A few may be out of our range but these are from a very reliable source.(16)(22)Do you just take any player that we don't want anymore? Clayton isn't a prem player, hey seen as you're interested do you want Billy Paynter too? He's amazing ;)Yeah, and why exactly would he be linking up with Johnson? The two never played together,Seems you were cut off before you finished, so Messi and Rooney were missing off your list!
Dehlia will have to sell a few cakes before you get anyway near some of those.Moses to Norwich ?? Lol , He will sign a new Wigan deal in the Summer as long as Martinez stays (More than likely). Norwich couldn't afford himm anyway. Most people we buy havent played prem footy before but they still get us mid table in the prem... jelousy of our manager and leeds is a s one! we will get a few of them so just wait and see you deluded jelous ......

03 May 2012 15:14:40
All of these rumours are a joke?! There is no way that Jamal-Campbell Ryce and Adam Barrett would come back to Southend United.

Also, Bilel will not be signing for Newcastle or Blackpool and Ryan Hall will not sign for Shrewsbury.

Where do people hear this stuff?!!(3)(9)They will go some where or other if you don't get out of League 2.They hear them from the voices in their heads!

Watford have released four players today. These are:
Rene Gilmartin - GK
Tom James - LB
Michael Bryan - RW
Chez Isaac - CM
Expect lots of teams interested!(10)(4)WHO THE FECK ARE THEY, must be crap if Watford are releasing themEnd of contractWatford aren't that bad. They finished 11th in the Championship.Gilmartin will go to Ireland or League Two
James probably back to non-league
Bryan is playing for NI u21...so he might get some interest from League Two
Isaac will probably end up with Boreham Wood or WealdstoneWatford are a relatively small club and cannot afford to keep all the academy prospects..

In the past we have complained about releasing players that end up coming good.

Theo Robinson is a good example of that...

Bryan & Isaac have a good chance at making it - only time will tell

Good luck to them all.

03 May 2012 15:20:32
I hear that Brendan Rogers will be leaving Swansea next season to manage Spurs, with Harry Redknapp taking the Chelsea job and Chris Hughton will take up the job left free at Swansea.(4)(25)

03 May 2012 15:12:50
Reading are looking to bolster the strike force this summer. Last season our strongest component was our defence, which was solid. But our strikers were not exatly prolific.

From pretty respectable sources online we ave been linked with moves for Dame N'Doye and Yakubu

That is not to say we will not be signing any other players. There has been interest in Nathan Clyne, Adrian Mariappa and Ryan Bertrand.

There has been speculation form "Kids" on the site that we will be signing the likes of Doyle, Long, Hunt, and Siggurdson. Doyle and Hunt not of standard, Hunt and Siggurdson are unrealistic.

ReadingLad(10)(13)

03 May 2012 15:07:10

03 May 2012 14:49:45
Saints to sign
Jean-Alain Boumsong
Emile Heskey
Titus Bramble
to add to there average team(9)(24)Haha sounds like a bitter poster to me! {Ed025's Note - me tooYou mean to add to there average Premiership team.
We had a 5 year plan, we are in year 3, loving every minute of it however long it lasts.Pity you Pompey lot. Even heard you have another Arab billionaire about to buy you. (Does this one actually exist?)
You have become a joke in the football world, don't keep trying to make it worse.Good luck you will need it thats for sure even QPR are finding it hard, pompey fans are not bitter not one little bit, btw when was the last time you beat pompey 1-4 in your own BACKYARDHeskey and bramble

03 May 2012 14:32:12
Rumours that Sol Campbell is being looked at by a newly promoted premiership side -source (metro). Can only be Saints or Reading.....At 37 not sure I would want him now. 4 -5 years ago would have been a great signing for us. Think talks closed down over wages....Phew (Reading man) {Ed020's Note - was being looked at, he had a foot injury and the offers moved on, i read the same article on the train this morning lol}(1)(17)Sol Campbell announced his retirement yesterday having not played for 12 monthsHe officially retired yesterdaySol Campbell has announced his retirementHe retired yesterday. It was on sky sportsNot very well thought through when you decided to make up this rumour, Sol Campbell announced his retirement from football on wednesday 2nd may......and you post this a day later lolI'm sure he has just announced his retirement?Youre obviously not up to date and definately on ANOTHER PLANET MATE!Think you will find its a case of "WAS" being looked at in the Janaury window by a team that has snow been promoted from the Championship...so yes either Soton or ReadingHe has retired at 37 this isnt true at LLWell that told you!

03 May 2012 13:48:46
Nick Blackman is interesting Watford and will be out of contract shortly(8)(4)

03 May 2012 13:28:52
Just heard from Mick Kearns that Walsall have signed a pre-contract for Izale Mcleod and are in talks with Aresnal for Joel Campbell for 3 months.

Big Tombo(6)(18)No they haven't. Domestic players can't sign pre-contracts with other clubs. This only applies to overseas players.Well as joel campbell can't get a work permit to play over here i very much doubt this.... also why would he go from regular footy in ligue 1 to play for walsall

03 May 2012 13:27:30

03 May 2012 13:20:14
I can confirm Coventrys on loan defends at Hibs has signed a deal with Hearts. His last game this season will be against Hearts (if Hibs play him) and his first next season will be for Hearts! He's not injured at the moment Hibs have just taken the news badly!(6)(2)That would explain his ommision from the team last night, I cant see Hibs playing him in the cup final if he has signed a pre contract at Hearts.James McPake is under contract so any deal is subject to a fee being paid which Hearts don't have and he has said he is coming back to Coventry next season.

03 May 2012 13:04:31
Andy Williams of Yeovil and one other player shown around the New York Stadium of Rotherham United today and have until Sunday to decide if they want to sign (Offical RUFC Website)(11)(11)Why would he want to drop t league two when he has an record offer from yeovil and other league one teams?May be it's because Rotherham have a new stadium, new training complex and can offer more money...

03 May 2012 13:03:38
Portsmouth are looking into getting Nathan Ellington on a free also Michael Jacobs from Northampton and goalkeeper Liam O'brien from barnet(14)(19)You lost all credibility when you mentioned Jacobs! He's valued £500k. You can't spend anything like that!At last, a sensible post about Portsmouths possible signings. No chance! You couldnt afford Jacobs and Ellingtons wages would be too high..You lot cant even pay your electric bill!OMG Pompey fans when you going to understand, until you have new owners you will not be paying any fees for any player and i agree with the above post Jacobs worth at least £500K.Jacobs is heading to the championship !! a few clubs interested.Pompey fans still think they
are in the championship
like they still think they ve
got big money to spend
on new signings
oh bless em the penny will
drop one day
big timeYou should be closed down

03 May 2012 13:00:56
West Ham will attempt to sign Henri Lansbury from Arsenal on a permanate deal if they win the play-offs(15)(10)That's if he isn't a Reading player by then. Reading are very keen on him and are already in talks with players....so he can sit on the bench getting splinters again...Allardyce wouldnt know a quality midfielder if he saw one ....hes deluded to think Chicken Wings Nolan isNorwich may also be looking at signing him, as he was very successful with us last season. The fact he is not in the squad for West Ham tonight suggests he may have rejected West Ham attempts to sign him permanently.

03 May 2012 13:00:51
Jamie McAllister to sign for old boss
Gary Johnson at Yeovil?(14)(3)

03 May 2012 12:27:21
Walsall In: Mantom (impending release from WBA)
Giles Coke
Calvin Zola
Cambell Ryce(8)(8)As a WBA fan I know for a fact we will definitely not be releasing one of our best young players in Sam Mantom... May be heading to Walsall on loan but definitely not permanently

03 May 2012 12:25:59
The Playoffs now look crucial for West Ham, whose spiralling debt and financial woes will be magnified tenfold should they fail to get promoted.

Failure in the playoffs will mean the forced sale of a number of first team regulars, as well as job cuts around Upton Park as they struggle to remain afloat. Rumours of an unpaid tax bill also hover over East London as some sources report that HMRC are preparing to wind up the hapless Championship outfit.

First out of the door is likely to be Sam Allardyce, with whom the board are said to be furious with for not securing automatic promotion, espescially as the Hammers have spent approximately quadruple what champions Reading have on wages and transfer fees.(21)(4)Remind you of a south coast the in blue? They spent WAY more that quadruple what we spent, we spent 1m plus whatever roberts was, West Spam spent quadruple that on Nolan alone.Birmingham also rumoured to be in financial problems if they don't go upWhen will these clubs learn that it is all about team ethic and desire, not fat cat wages, and hefty transfer fees.
Reading and Southampton remind me of Norwich & Swansea last season and could both do ok next year in premiership.
Look at Leicester also, huge money spent on transfer fees and wages and not even in play-offs.

03 May 2012 12:51:23
Wigan to sign Charlie Austin from Burnley for £3million with Nouha Dicko joining Burnley on loan.(9)(21)

03 May 2012 12:50:53

03 May 2012 12:07:40
Bristol Rovers are said to be interested in Stephen Craigan. The central defender plays for Motherwell, and played under Mark McGhee from 2007-2009.(7)(7)

03 May 2012 12:04:57
Bristol City are allegedly about to
make a 750k bid for Mustapha Soon
Carayol, Bristol City scouts rate
Carayol better than current wingers
Adomah and Bolasie. It believed
Bristol Rovers will reject the bid and
will only be looking at offers of 1
million plus. A number of
championship sides have already
expressed interest in the young
winger. Carayol's contract is due
to run out next summer, however he
is currently negotiating a deal which

Leeds will announce the signings of Jason Pearce from Pompey and David Forde from Millwall in next couple of days(22)(8)Why do you think Forde would go Leeds? Warnock doesnt even have a keeper on the bench and has Lonergan already? Forde is too good to not get a look in

Preston to sign stuart beavon and free agent andy gray both deals will be announced as soon as the season ends.(15)(11)Charlton, Sheffield United and Preston are chasing Wycombe striker Stuart Beavon......and out of those 3 clubs, I would imagine that PNE are 3rd on his prefrence list....in fact 4th....staying at Wycombe would be 3rd.....so NO CHANCE

Wolves are looking into the signing of either Jay Rodriguez or Charlie Austin, both of Burnley. Rodriguez has attracted premier league interest and would cost at least 6 million and Burnley would demand a fee in the region of 3 million for 22 year old Austin.(1)(29)Wolves need to sell to buy, as part of the new fair play rules that come into play next season. Several first teamers MUST go.Rod is attracting prem attention yet staying in the championship. Very much doubt thatWolves don't "need" to sell anyone. We have a wage structure in place and all contracts are reduced now relegation has been confirmed. Players are kept on long-term contracts to prevent a mass exodus. If a player demands to move and threatens disruption, that may be different. We even have some money to spend. We may well sell players, but that will be the choice of the Manager (whoever that will be) and the Owner.

And regarding the price of Rodriguez - this rumours site reports that Southampton are looking to sign Jarvis for £4million yet we are expected to pay "at least £6 million" for Rodriguez. Hmmm. We may as well keep Jarvis, Fletcher, Doyle and co.Rodriguez is not going to leave Burnley for another championship club, especially since there are a number of premiership clubs likely to go for him

03 May 2012 10:54:43
Emile Heskey in talks with Derby County and has reportedly signed a pre-contract with them. This is after he was denied a contact extention with A Villa.(8)(15)Bosman rules are different in England than in Europe. No pre-contract agreements can be made until the current contract expires.

Do your homework in future.

Leeds to make £5miilion bid for Piquionne(6)(45)Bates spend 5mill on one player to play in
the championship you are taking the old
proverbial not a chance {Ed020's Note - us leeds fans can always dream!!! lol}The very idea of Leeds spending £5m on a player makes me laugh. The idea it would be on Piquionne is priceless.Leeds to make no bid for piquionne and even if we did, 1mil maxWe haven't got that kind of money. plus hes over 30 carnt get in west ham starting 11 , would probably cost around 500,000 but we dont want another barn doorGet real with Bates record he's never splashed the cash!5 mil , really lolDon't be silly, you don't have £5m to spend, let alone on 1 player.Leeds aint got 5 million you idiotsWe trading him for the east stand? Cost same....Leeds have got 5 millon to spend but bates wont spend it

03 May 2012 10:53:16
Wolves will interview Ian Holloway over becoming the new manager. And Michael Kightly is set to sign a new 3 year contract with the club.(14)(14)I really hope this is true, but with drybread morgan who knowsSo Ian Holloway...who could be back in the premiership with Blackpool in a few weeks is going to have to go through the indignity of an "interview" with a relegated club that's about to lose most of it's decent players and a fan base thats going to be demanding a return to the prem at the first go......It's just not going to happen.

It's curbishley or some other manager looking to get back into the game.....I dont think most managers with a job would touch this one with a barge pole after the humiliating way the club treated McCarthy

03 May 2012 10:49:51

Reading have just announced Tomasz Cywka will be released. Huddersfield boss Simon Grayson is expecting him to be his first close season signing. Expect quick business as he has also targeted Adam Clayton - Leeds. Cody Mcdonald - Coventry. Joe Lewis - Peterborough and Michael Jacobs - Northampton. Released will be Gary Naismith, Gary Roberts and Jamie McCombe. Transfered out will be Alex Smithies -Bolton and Jordan Rhodes - West Ham or Newcastle. It could be a'big' name former international could join the club too as a last season finish to his playing career - rumoured to be Darius Vassell or Emile Heskey!!(1)(20)Uddersfield won't be able to afford any of those players if they are still in league 1 either fees or wages

as Greavsie used to say it's a funny old game.
Stranger things have happened and ref Mcrmack
he did well last season at Swindon,so who Know's Cafc may resign him.
However is doubtful as his future seems secure at Swindon(1)(3)Why would McCormack go back to Charlton they didint play him and didnt want him which is why he signed for us and he has been outstanding for us and got player of the year.

He's not going anywhere.

03 May 2012 09:21:31
Reading are looking to lock horn with Southamptop for the signing of Matt Jarvis, estimated to available for 4 Million.(10)(17)You can join the que with villa, albion, stoke everton, sunderland, qpr allinterested.
4 million with that lot interested. I have heard we asking for 8 million.Double it and Wolves might start talking. £4m is not even close to his valuation. No way 8mill. Championship player now.Add Norwich City to that list, as they are interested aswell.

03 May 2012 09:11:04
Southampton will make 4m bid for wolves winger matt Jarvis
(source the express)(16)(18)Can you stop all this 4 million for jarvis. he will cost double that if not more as wolves d0 not need to sell....I think you have no chance with Stoke already making a move.Maybe, but unfortunately he might want to move.Sure hope so, but I don't think he'll go for that much

Rhys Evans to resign for Swindon to replace Phil smith as back up(2)(11)

03 May 2012 06:53:07
If Bolton retain their premier league status, Marvin Sordell will join Watford on loan till January.(8)(14)I'm a massive Watford fan. This looks very likely!Bolton are screwed.Well - they are going down - so a pointless post!If you are a massive Watford Fan - does that mean you are very tall or very fat?Coyle doesn't play Sordell so he may as well go back there.

03 May 2012 06:51:04

Southampton chasing Seattle Sounder winger Steve Zakuani, ex Arsenal academy player, young and looks like a talent, they are also looking to sign Michael Owen on a loan deal and Adrian Mariappa from Watford while Reading are looking at Blackpools Gary Taylor-Fletcher and Wolves Midfielder Jamie O'Hara, they are also wanting to make a 4 Million pound bid for Spurs Sebastian Bassong who is currently on loan at Wolves.(16)(15)Here we go again Owen to Saints, heard this every transfer window for the last 2 seasons, dont get me wrong when fit still is a quality player, trouble is he is never fit. I dont reackon this will happen, We will need players that will give us 30+ games next season not 3-4 which you probable get from Owen.Bassong for 4 mill when hes contract is up in the summerI am a huge sants fan but we wont sign Owen...he could get much more money elsewhere - probably end up in the US or Qatar or something, also not really sure i would want him...and how can anyone sign him on loan when he is out of contract at the end of this season...who will he be on loan from...think about it!!If Bassong's contract is up in the summer why would he cost £4m?

02 May 2012 23:35:46
