Just to let everyone who is dissin Rafa know bout not signing a replacement.,need i remind you that the Keane deal was done with 20mins. left of the window., all the talk about Villa isn true, a rumour that is completely true is the Aguero one. Expect him at liverpool very soon, more than likely in the summer. Rafa has first option on Aaron Lennon, Gareth Bale and Jermain Jenas in the summer. He wanted lennon as part of the Keane deal but spurs wouldn't let him go til the summer. Other Summer targets include;

Roysten Drenthe(Real Madrid) £5–7m
Michael Owen(New. Utd, if he proves his fitness) Free
Bastian Schweinsteiger(Bayern Munich) Voronin plus£5m
Raul Albiol(Valencia) £10m,if Lucas leaves

These are all from a very reliable source. I know everyone says that but if you don't believe me, wait until the Summer and you'll be proved wrong

Targets for other teams are as follows;

Yaya Toure to Arsenal – £10m
Miguel Veloso to Everton – £14m
Ricardo Quaresma to Chelsea – £18–20m
Cristiano Ronaldo to Madrid – £35m + players of Ferguson's choice
Antonio Valencia to Inter – £16m
Nedum Onouha to Man Utd – £4.5m plus O'shea

Watch and Wait
  Well it looks as if Rafa was right all along, Torres is not fed up like previous posts stated, he's still not 100% fit but you could see his head go down when Stevie G his mate went off the pitch and i do agree with what you said about a back up striker El Nino cannot operate on his own and i also agree with the need for a striker to be the number priority. Rafa is right to rest players so we neeed to stop moaning about rotation and resting, well moan if you like but at least be open minded. When i say Rafa was right if Stevie G is not there who better to have in place but Barry, at least he's a better crosser, Stevie couldnt deliver a paper every pass was easy to deal with but obviously as an outfield player he is class, why does he think he's Beckham, why does he have to take the crosses and free kicks, no sorry Rafa you need to be stronger here its just not working out. Parry must be holding his thumb in his mouth and blubbering right now. It looks like David Villa is our next target, Alonso won't be going though it looks like its going to be Mascherano who will be going to Manchester City in the summer. Babbel is history, Lucas is staying only because everyone wants him gone but Rafa likes to prove people wrong, Kevin Davies could be seen in a red shirt in the summer as his mate Nolan has gone from Bolton, and the other big signing is Drenth. Kuyt will be kept but the versatile Benayoun may pay the price for the midfield overload. Expect Pacheco next season to come good as he gets stronger he's a class act. Once the take over has been sorted expect Great things. This looks like SAF's last season and Mourinho is Man Unts next manager and he'll bring in Keane as his number 2. Scolari won't be here in the summer and he'll be replaced by Klinsman. Wenger will give it one more season at Arsenal. A lot to go this season but expect all change next season. Moyes is doing wonders at Everton given his budget its a shame the crowd don't appreciate what hes doing with what hes got to work with and they'll have a new stadium soon.

Anyway have a great weekend everyone and watch out for more of my accurate predictions and rumuors coming your way soon. How do i know these things, well if i told you you wouldn't believe me.

El Torro
  Dont know if tese are fact fiction or a mix but i heard leaving spurs in the summer are bale, hutton, rocha, bent, alnwick, taraabt, huddlestone and jenas. Harry's targets are tayo, duff, mattock and bednar. on merseyside expect the arrival of bent, kightly and venegoor at goodison. while martin oneill looks to sign wigans paul scharner. arsene wenger likes the look of torsten frings and evertons tim howard. biggest splurge of all as expected will be at city where hughes looks to bring in lahm, santa cruz, matterazzi, mancienne, senna, henry and diego capel.
  I love the way tarriers concern theirselves with Rangers' finances.
Get your own house in order before talking about others', you aren't exactly throwing the cash around are you? Peter Lawwell has you all brainwashed and the truth is money problems will only really come home to roost in Scottish football this summer.
As for the plonker claiming Gattuso is coming back to Ibrox, give me a break, we couldn't afford Christophe Berra never mind an Italian world cup winner.
Money will be freed up in the summer by the sale and release of surplus players and two or three signings will be made by both sides of the Old Firm.
Andrew Driver – Rangers
Steven Fletcher – Celtic
Large John was Aware
  Gordon Strachan is definately off in the Summer.
Those close to him say he hopes to leave on a high with the blessing of most at Celtic Park.
The High Pressure job which brings its share of high maintenance players has taken it's toll.
He is also very fed up with certain sections of the media and frankly, a portion of the Hoops Support who have been ultra–quick to criticise.
He plans a break from football, so time for 'The Book' to come out then?!
Like with MON, the board have been given ample notice to find a successor and the usual suspects of Roy Keane (To end the drinking culture crew), Tony Mowbray, who also may be conveniently
'between jobs' and Craig Levein, who's teams have matched up well to Celtic. Assistant wise;
The board are also well aware of the good work done by Peter Grant and Owen Coyle. As with previous appointments European managerial experience is not a priority.
A substancial transfer kitty has been held back for the new campaign, and provisions have been made for the signing of Steven Fletcher along the lines of the Scott Brown deal.
Kenny G.
  Valencia may not be in a fantastic position financialy, however they have recntly anounced a financial rescue package which should allow them to keep silva and villa or at least one of the two. Transfers no longer deepend entirely on the fee (KAKA) silva stated last sumer that he did not want to leave spain, so it's lokking likely for a move to Barcelona. Villa however is a different story he is actively lokking for a way out of the club and so his good pal torres has been doing his best to convince villa to come. Rafa however has his sights set on Aguero instead of villa and he hopes to solve the right wing problem with the signing of maxi rodriguez from athletico madrid. If Liverpool are to sign both these two then it will involve at least one player going in the other direction possibly Benayoun and Lucas for a season.
  To the poster who started 'What a load of pure unadulterated nonsense' and ended 'about the finances of Rangers FC' why did you post exactly the same thing only a few weeks later?
Exactly the same garbage was posted when the bears were on the 'verge of collapse' in january and also it is a Rumour site not a financial shite site.

  Joe Ledley will be sold for 4 million MAX, as in the summer he will only have 12 months of his contract left. . .
TBH Cardiff will be lucky to get about 3 million by then
  What a load of pure unadulterated nonsense this latest rumour about the Rangers takeover. Mr Murray will have to clear the hidden debt prior to any such deals.

Listen mate, The whole idea of rangers being sold is for them to find a suitable buyer to pay of the debt and invest in the team.
So why would murray have to clear his debt?

who is going to volunteer to pay the debt read the accounts and you will see that £57m has to be paid this year and it still leaves Rangers and MR Murray in serious debt of approx £160m

would you buy shares like the last share issue went £50m to buy £5m by supporters and £45m by Mr Murray.

I hope the arabs do buy but in all seriousness they would be mad. Wait until September when the NTL loan money £33m will be due to be paid back to Cable and Wireless and then LISTEN MATE me. DJH
  Lfc news
rafa benitez has realised his team his strong enough defensivly but needs more going foward so will not buy any defenders apart from glen johnson he may also try to sign some young players from brazil(like fergie done wiith rafeal&fabio da silva) so the attacking players he is going to launch bids for:
aguero=20mil
silva=16mil(bankrupt valencia)
saviola=free only back up
may also try to buy van der vart doesn't start and would play beside alonso in a 4–2–3–1
  LFC News – Benitez has won the battle of the boardroom. Hicks & Gillett know that the value of the club, which they're trying to sell, will plummet if they do not have a big name manager in place at the club. Benitez will then make Barry his No.1 target this summer to replace Alonso as he is on Fiorentino Perez's wanted list if, & it's highly likely, he becomes President of Real Madrid again. Expect another forward to be brought in with rumours of a bid for Keirrison, Zigic or even Forlan(!) to provide cover for Torres. Sergio Aguero, David Silva & David Villa will be too expensive for Liverpool unless there is major investment from new owners. Finally, back to Real, Perez's galatico will be Kaka not Ronaldo, he does not like CR's attitude and contact has already been made with Kaka's representatives.
  Just heard rumour that Torres will assess his position in the summer with Real Madrid and Barcelona waiting in the wings. Torres is fed up and it showed last night at the thought of no back up striker. Rafa has shot himself in the foot. Gerard will never leave but Torres is growing a little impatient
  Man U will not take up the option of signing Tevez and will use the money to bring back Rossi (buyout clause was inserted when he was sold) and/or Daniel Sturridge. Also Valencia will be added after turning down a loan move to Real Madrid. Nani will be allowed to leave with Spurs and Man City keen to sign him.
  DIC will be bringing investment to Liverpool this summer at last! It is unknown whether they will give Benitez full control of transfers but they are prepared to give a 50mil kitty for new signings. Although they won't be splashing out like City's owners, they are intent on matching them as they are known to be rivals.

Leaving in the summer will be:
Andrea Dossena (6mil)
Sami Hyypia (free)
Philip Degen (2mil)
Jermaine Pennant (free)
Yossi benayoun (7mil)
Lucas Leiva (loan)
David N'gog (3mil)

Coming in will be:
Gareth Barry (13mil)
Diego (19mil)
Glen Johnson (10mil)
Aislan (6mil)
Keirrison (6mil)
  In reply to the 'LFC fan'. Stop being so damn pesimistic. And if i hear someone else moan about Lucas! The lad is 20 (yes 20 and he will learn and is already a far better player than last year). Can anyone remember Gerrard when he was 20? Not a patch on the player he is today, so let the club nuture Lucas and judge him when he's 25/26. As for now, support him, support the team, support the players, support the club. We are the closest we've ever been to winning the league. We may not win it this year, but we will be close. Take heart from that, or would you rather be in 5th/6th like we have been the last 18 years at this point in the season? Secondly, Keane was given a chance, 28 of them for that matter and he didn't get any better from the forgettable debut at Sunderland. His last performance against Everton was so woeful, Benitez daren't play anymore. Just because a player is bought for £20 million doesn't mean he should be picked. Give him time? Keane is a seasoned pro, not a fledgling like Lucas. He couldn't cut at LFC. i agree with most. The pressure of having to deliver game in, game out and having to win every game i don't think he could deal with. Look at his performances, they were getting worse, no pace, finishing ability was sadly lacking. He'll go down as a great player at a small club. Not top 4 material i'm afraid. And that's a fact. Thirdly, just to dismiss another nonsense. LFC will miss Gerrard. The man is world class. You cannot have a world class player out of the side and not be adversely affected. IT DOESN'T MEAN WE ARE A ONE MAN BAND. To every LFC fan, don't let frustration impair your belief. As we get closer we will be anxious but remember we are still in the race for the title. Ask yourself would we have taken this position at the start of the season? The answer is your belief my fellow LFC fans. And we will knock the Manx's off their perch and we will have the opportunity of sticking it right up Fergie's a before he retires.

Bob, LFC. In Rafa we trust.
  Guys please this is a transfer rumour site not the FT. Take you convuluted financial worries elsewhere eh?

Bunn and McSheffery will join Forest on loan in the next week. Forest fans need to see something from the management team and this wil be it plus a move for Dominic Mateo is simmering as well. Dan the Man
  Julian Gray to go on loan to Barnsley. Not needed at Fulham and wants to play.

  Cristiano ronaldo is set to be moving to real madrid for 60.5m and wesley sneijder as well gonzalo higuin

Future looks bright for Liverpool
  Ian harte could on his way back to ellend road when blackpool released him in the january market.

st.mirren are in the chase for the expirenced defender but harte feels a return to leeds is for the best.

liam Dickinson is set to join leeds on loan from derby, the deal was thought to be done on the last day of the transfer market but the deal didn't make the time limit given.
  No rumours Im afraid but just wanted peoples view on the current situation at Liverpool and Rafa's handling of the team/tactics/transfers/mind games etc. As an avid fan of the mighty reds I feel Rafa is losing the plot and if he doesn't get things sorted soon, our title chances will be well and truly over.
Firstly, When will he realise players like Lucas and Dossena simply aren't good enough? As shown again last night, Ludas is a liability and has cost us 2 games in the last couple of weeks. Rafa keeps picking him in a midfield role but in my opinon he is one of the worst tacklers I have seen, and he doesn't seem to learn.
Secondly, how can we let a player of Robbie Keane's quality leave the club without bringing in a replacement and claim we have cover in the form of Babbel, Ngog and Kuyt?? These guys aren't a patch on Robbie (had he been given the chance) and it showed last night when we lost Gerrard early and quite frankly didn't look like scoring. Robbie would have been the ideal man to come on and play off Torres but instead we have Kuyt up there (who seems to have forgotten he was once a striker). If Stevie is out for a number of weeks we are in big trouble – regardless of what Rafa might believe.
On a similar note, we have Torres up front (who is a world class finisher if given the opportunities) but we play him in a role where he spends most of his time chasing lost causes and making runs into the channels with little reward. In my opinion he needs someone up there with him with a quick brain and good touch (Keane?) who he can work off in tight situations and share the work load with. We will end up with him being burnt out or Injured before the end of March at this rate – but never fear, we have Ngog who can take his place and score the goals??
Finally (I'm sorry to go on, but need to air my views somewhere – the wife just doesn't understand!!), why do we play so negatively in games where we should be able to go out and blow the opposition away? Build up is so slow and mechanical that teams can get back in numbers and we struggle to break them down. Utd and Arsenal (when playing at their best) are fast, fluent and unpredictable in attack which makes it a nightmare to defend against. We seem happy to 'control the game', (which I've figured just means pass the ball across the midfield and defence) rather then trying to penetrate defences quickly when they are most vulnerable.
Anyway,I really hope we can maintain a challenge for the title (without gerrard I am not optimistic) and also hope Rafa keeps his mouth shut in future – his rant was simply embarassing. Please Rafa, let the team do your talking on the pitch and lets see some fast attacking football!!
  The dubai based group who are investing in Glasgow Rangers are too reveal their plans in june. . I work as a steward at ibrox and have it in good faith that rino gattuso will return in summer along with a few other well known faces . . although don,t expect world beaters such as (kaka or beck,s). It will be players Walter and Ally can rely on too take us forward in europe. . Beware of the Bear the Teddy Bear. .
  What a load of pure unadulterated nonsense this latest rumour about the Rangers takeover. Mr Murray will have to clear the hidden debt prior to any such deals.David Murray who owns the major shareholding in Rangers has set up a fairy complicated pyramid of companies which makes it more difficult to understand the true financial position but the facts are:– 1. 65% of Rangers FC plc (RFC) is owned by RFC Investments Ltd (RFCI). 2. 100% of RFCI is owned by Murray Sports Ltd (MSL). 3. MSL is owned by David Murray (DM). 4. DM also owns Murray International Holdings Ltd (MIH) because the turnover of MSL is identical to RFC we can take it that MSL does not include any other trading companies apart from those which make up RFC. Thus, we need to look at the MSL accounts to see the true financial position. Key facts from MSL Group Accounts as at 30 June 2003 (all figures in £millions): 1. Turnover for year 49.035 (up from 44.61) 2. Loss for year 29.61 (down from 45.74 3. Accumulated Losses 88.49 4. Shareholders Deficit 29.2 5. Net Debt 128.58 (up from 112.8) The Shareholders Deficit figure has been arrived at despite: 1. Inclusion of Goodwill 17.41 (A departure from the Companies Act 1985) 2. Property Revaluations 62.30 (This is a cumulative figure) Accumulated Trading Losses are thus in excess of £150m (88.49 + 62.3) There is also a contingent liability not included in the above figures: 1. Deferred Interest 18.04 The deferred interest is very interesting – RFCI used to be part of Murray Group Holdings Ltd (MGH) but was demerged from that group and ownership of RFCI was transferred on 29 January 1999 to MSL. As part of that transaction, MSL issued loan notes of £60m to MGH. MGH is a wholly owned subsidiary of MIH. Anyone looking at the accounts of MIH would not see the ownership of MGH and through that the “ownership” of the loan notes because the MIH accounts only list trading subsidiaries and MGH is not deemed to be a trading company. Thus MIH no longer owns RFC but instead MIH is owed £60m by MSL, which is payable if the shares, assets or business of RFCI or (more importantly) RFC is sold. In other words MIH has “converted” its 65% shareholding in RFC into a £60m asset although MIH has now restated the value of that asset to £52.96m. It is often reported in the Press that with David Murray’s “vast empire of companies” RFC do not need to worry about the accumulated losses or net debt because David Murray’s group can always put more money into Rangers FC. It is not clear what funds have been “put in.” RFC losses have been supported by (1) property revaluations (2) sophisticated financial accounting (3) the ability to borrow. RFC and in particular the ultimate owner of RFC (MSL) owe large sums which, if called upon to do so, could only be repaid by selling the property assets (mainly the stadium) assuming a buyer could be found and the Rangers support didn’t mind no longer having the stadium! Key facts from MIH Group Accounts as at 31 January 2003 (all figures in £millions): 1. Turnover for year 266.49 (up from 221.47 2. Loss for year 8.96 (3.93 profit) 3. Accumulated Profit 23.03 4. Shareholders Funds 79.39 5. Net Debt 190.24 (up from 181.79 In arriving at the above figures 3 significant items are included by MIH: 1. Investment in RFCI 5.08 2. Goodwill and Intangibles 4.61 3. Loan Notes from MHL 52.96 If these were excluded the shareholders funds would be reduced to £16.74m There is a contingent liability not included in the above figures: Pension Scheme Shortfall 6.40 There is a further contingent liability of £139.89m in respect of guarantees to the bank in respect of borrowings by various subsidiaries. To see the latest figures we will need to wait until 30 November 2004 for the 30 January 2004 Accounts. So what is the net debt of Rangers? £68m per RFC accounts or £129m per MSL accounts or £190 per MIH accounts or £319m (that is £129m for MSL group and £190m for MIH group) being the cumulative net debt of David Murray’s companies? Interestingly the total creditors figure for MSL + MIH is £417.231m. An analysis of the total creditors figure shows the level of bank borrowings: Bank Loans 136.983 Bank Overdraft 100.448 Total 237.431 Of the £237m the overdraft (£100m) is payable on demand and £80m of the bank loans are payable within 5 years with £57m falling due after 5 years. Sorry this is so long and I realise a lot of this will only make sense to accountants but it is important that the true facts are available. I am a Rangers supporter and very concerned about the finances of Rangers FC
  MUFC news just heared ferguson will cut his losses on owen hargreaves in the summer he will be sold for a cur price 5 – 7m in will come xavi ferguson likes him.
