To the Stevenage fan who posted earlier.

I just phoned Phil Wallace who told me that your story is 'the biggest pile of cck ever'.

For the record, gates are improving and when we go up we will be attracting 2–3 times more fans as this season if not more!

There are future plans to upgrade Broadhall Way, or to move to a new community stadium on the edge of town.

So get your facts right Mush!

Re: The Southend Fan below..

Whilst I agree with you that the original post sent was daft, there are MAJOR problems at the club.

Weasley Ron has let us down, and we owe HMRC £2.1m that HAS to be paid by law. Unless we can find a new benefactor (step forward Allyson Moyet) we are going to be sunk along with the new stadium project.

Steve Tilson is leaving in the summer – heard that Gillingham want him.

Difficult times ahead to say the very least!

Heard from sources very close to Sunderland goalkeeper Craig Gordon that Sir Alex Ferguson had been in touch with Gordon and sees him as the perfect replacement to Van der Sar. Also read elsewhere that Foster is away in the summer so this further backs up this rumour.

I heard this to, from my cousin who knows Gordon from his time at Hearts

Liverpool's owners are desperate that the club doesn't slip into decline (not because they like the club but because then it will be worthless). This fear will drive them into spending money, all the best players (torres, gerrard, reina, mascherano) have signed long term contracts so they won't be leaving unless huge offers come in that will benefit the club. Expected transfer activity..

Cardiff City News:

A senior source has told me that the investment by the Malaysians is not certain, and now may not happen at all after a verbal altercation between Peter Ridsdale and Dato Tan Chien Ghee after the Swansea game.

Peter Ridsdale told Dato that he will not quit as Chairman, and that the buyer he met at the Cheltenham Festival can offer more money than the Malaysians.

It took the intervention of Steve Borley to calm things down. Dato trusts Steve and wants him to give Ridsdale the boot. He may well have to, if he wants to stay at the CCS because Ridsdale's investor wants a 'clean sweep' – including Ridsdale leaving by Christmas 2010.

06 Apr 2010 16:19:41
Gary O'Neil is very unhappy with not being picked to play on the weekend, for financial reasons.

I can reveal that he has instructed his agent to find him an EPL/SPL club to play at next season.

He has said he would definitely consider joining Newcastle or Cardiff if they are promoted.

06 Apr 2010 14:56:05
Stevenage Borough Football Club are set to enter administration tomorrow. Chairman Phil Wallace has blamed a combination of attendances averaging only 2, 000, and increased player wages which has led to the club challenging for promotion to the football league. This means the players will also not get paid on time, when the next payday comes round. The 10 point deduction, occurred by Conference rivals Salisbury City earlier this season, would drop Borough into 3rd place, behind Luton, favourites for promotion, and Oxford.

Real Madrid News::::

Guus Hiddink will be their Next Manager and he will join after placing 3 conditions::

1) REAL should not sack me in my First year.

2)Give him Necussary Transfer Funds and no one except Guus should involve in Players Transfer

3)Give him Necussary time to build a World class Squad

However they can Sack me if i Don't make these in the first year

1)Reaching Quarter finals of the Champions League

So these are the Changes he will make

1)he will offload Dudek and bring in Igor Afinkkeev– 10M

2)David Silva will join , not Ribery because Silva is young and he knows La Liga well than Ribery, So he will not take Time to fit in to the squad–24M

3)Boletolli to join and Raul will move to USA for Free and Benzema to MAn U for 25M and they will not Offload Higuain because he is their Leading Goal Scorer for the Past 2 Years

4)Jovetic will join for 12M

5)Mohamed Diarra, Gago, Granero, Gutiwill be Offloaded for the Combined Fee of 5M+16M+10M+6M=37M

6)Van Der Vaart will be Kept and tey will see whether Kaka can Rule the midfield or Else they will Offload him the following Season with Man city Ready to Pay him even 50M or if he does well they will offload Van Der Vaart.

7)Sergio Canceles will join for 10M and Edin Hazard for 10M

8)Ashley Cole for 25M coz he is fed up with Chelsea Owner

9)other Defenders will also be offloaded for 26M

10)Vidic will join for 27M

So this wil be their Squad for Next Season

GOAL KEEPERS:::

Following Newcastle United's promotion to the Premier League, Chris Hughton is set to be allowed to spend money to ensure the club remains in the top flight for their return. Hughton is targetting Spurs defender Alan Hutton whilst Jimmy Bullard is also a top target and almost certain for the switch with Hull looking set for relegation. Newcastle may further take advantage of Hull should they be relegated by further targeting Kamil Zayatte and Geovanni. Hughton will also target Portsmouth trio David James, Nadir Belhadj and Steve Finnan.
In terms of attacking options, Hughton is hopeful of signing Ajax skipper, 23 year old Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez who would set the club back around £10 million.
=v1=

Burst out laughing when I read the last sentence. Luis Suarez, one of the most exciting young forwards, to Newcastle? For £10million? Behave yourself. Suarez will 80% move from Ajax in the summer, but it will be for a lot more than £10m and it will be to a member of the European elite, not a joke like Newcastle. Most likely destinations are Chelsea, Man Utd, Barce and AC Milan. However if Atletico Madrid lose Kun Aguero in the summer they might launch a bid.

Arsenal expect to complete the following transfers by the start of the World Cup:
Ins – Neuer, Van Der Wiel, Subotic, Chamakh, Hazard.
Outs – Fabianski, Senderos, Campbell (moving into a player/coach role) Polish Chesney (loan) and Eduardo (loan)

IBROX MOLE

Not very often I put anything on here unless I know it is spot on information. Here's what ive been advised of by the PA of some one fairly high up on the board of Rangers FC, and no not the chairman, however still someone in the mix at Ibrox:

Summer Outs
McGregor – Bolton, Fulham and West Brom have all asked about the availability of the GK
Laferty – Wigan and Wolves are looking at the lanky stinker, fee is around the 2.5–3m mark
Beasley – Newcastle are looking to take the American for around 500k
Rory Loy – St Mirren want to take him permanently, no fee mentioned.
Miller – Apparently, PSG and AZ Alkmar have took an interest in the Scotland striker.
Alexander – Hibs have asked to take him on loan next season. However I was told they laughed this off ?? Alexander the new No1 next season ??
Boyd – As everyone knows, a new contract is on the table however Boyd will only sign it is Smith promises to play him in Europe. Also in the new contract is a min release fee of 7M (what a joke).
Velicka – Released, as injury not healing as well as hoped.

Bougherra Birmingham/Sunderland, Davis Everton, Wilson Liverpool/Arsenal and Papac Hull (of all people) have also been enquired about but quashed straight away.

Summer Ins
Lovenkrands – Newcastle negotiating, possible exchange with Beasley
Kyriakos – Liverpool 1m
Kyle – Kilmarnock 0.5m
Driver – Hearts negotiating.

This is all I have at the moment, but once the season finishes and around the 2 weeks prior to pre–season I should know more.

PS – King is back in the loop for purchasing Mr Murray's shares.

06 Apr 2010 13:02:42
Martin Caceras Silva has stated he welcomes Arsenals interest would love to play in the Premierleague and sees Arsenal as a club where he can be 1st choice. At £10 million 50,000 a week wage demands great passing and fast he could find a new home where he can "get back to loving football again"

06 Apr 2010 13:08:42
Ben Foster will sign for Newcastle in the summer, with David James retiring from the game to concentrate on a career in media/advertising.

Portsmouth have sounded out a new 'keeper from north of the border.

Also, news for Accrington fans as John Coleman has already sounded out a new loan keeper – Jamie Stephens will sign for a season next year.

Jamie has moved from Swindon and George Wood reckons that he will be a future international.

News regarding LIVERPOOL football club, two more players have been added to the list of three that will no doubt be arriving during the summer window, carlton cole from west ham united, thomas hitzlesperger from lazio and kieran richardson from sunderland may well be joined by ireland from manchester city and wilson from rangers?? one part of bad news for liverpool though ADIDAS will not be in any way part of the re–build of the new anfield and nor will they be putting their name to the new ground!

Any transfer news regarding leicester city for next season? is the rumour about marlon harewood coming next season true?

06 Apr 2010 12:11:37
To the person who said this
"06 Apr 2010 02:09:22
All right, it is now common knowledge that LFC have £25 million transfer kitty plus sales. Another £10 million is available from January sales of Voronin, Dossena, and Mihailov. Another £7–8 will be raised from Riera. £8–10 million will be raised from Benoyoun. Benefica is interested in Diego Cavaleri. He would fetch £3 million. The replacement is young Perer Gulacsi. Thus giving the manager a transfer kitty of £53–56 million. Regardless of Aurelio's fate a new LB will be looked at. The main target is Taiwo of Marcelle. He would cost around £7 million. Arda Turan is the replacement for Riera and looking a bargain at £10 million. Jovanovic is coming in for free. Now these are more or less facts. The next deals are guesswork, but it is based on solid facts.
Gonzalo Higuain is said to be coming to Anfield. The fee is £15 million. The facts are Reina, Torres, and Masch have pledged and that means new signings. This is one of them. Also Higuain wants to play alongside Masch and Maxi.
David Silva is also said to be coming to LFC for £20 million."
you sir are an idiot, if you are going to make a guess make a reasonable one please, HIGUAIN WILL NOT GO ANY WERE FOR £15 MILL. HE IS CURRENTLY OUT SCORING RONALDO AND THERES NO WAY HE'D JOIN THE SINKING SHIP THAT IS LIVERPOOL.
rafa benitez has already admitted it doesn't make much difference to his transfer budget if he doesn't make champions league because he didn't have much in the first place. so only one (jovanovic) will come in.

onto rumours:
rodwell MAY join man utd this season if another team bid for him. united will also not sign a keeper as akinfeev is avalible on a free this december. if we do sign any one expect a creative midfielder and/or a striker depended on our limited funds. i PREDICT: cole free, poss di maria 20mill as he said the teams he would like to play for in the epl are man utd or chelsea. if berbatov is sold expect a striker as macheda and welbeck are not yet ready.

chelsea will have a major summer clearout and bring in a younger squad(aguero, pato, shwienstiger, ect.) but still with the backbone to hold the team strong.(lampard, terry, ect..

arsenal will sign the obvious striker, right footed cb (zapata)and a goalkeeper(neuer, lloris, wiese) and expect youth players to join the senior squad aswell.

06 Apr 2010 12:14:45
Will the people linking Arsenal with Martin Caceres have a look at his profile. He is only 5'11" tall, shorter than Vermaelen (just!). Wenger knows he needs someone who can dominate in the air to complement "Tommy–gun". He will buy a CD 6'2" plus.

06 Apr 2010 12:03:45
Few Chelsea rumours :–
In's –)
1 ) Edin Dzeko ( wanted to go to Ac milan but the deal is now off so man city or chelsea will bid for him , but having ancelotti will make sure the deal goes this way

2 ) Sergio Aguero – is a done deal , was allowed to play for atleico madrid but will head our way.

3)David silva – will come to chelsea in summer as valencia are looking for money

Chelsea's youngsters will get more and more chances next season and some of them are :–

4) Ryan bertrand – will be the next best LB after ashley cole but is better defender ( on loan at reading )

This is a fact martin caceres is coming to

A round up of some pretty reasonable rumours of the major transfers this summer for you all:

Karim Benzema – Real Madrid to Manchester United (with Manchester United agreeing not to bid against Real Madrid for Ribery). Absolutely no chance of Gonzalo Higuain leaving Madrid – and certainly not for less than euro 45M.
Franck Ribery – Bayern Munich to Real Madrid.
Alexandre Pato – AC Milan to Chelsea.
Sergio Aguero – Atletico Madrid to Barcelona (or an outside chance to Real Madrid).
Thierry Henry – Barcelona to New York.

Sharkey.

Stan Kroenke is to buy up the remaining shares he needs to reach 30% and launch a bid for Arsenal.
the arsenal board, still locked in their no–sell deal with regards to Uzbek Alisher Usmanov, have no such barrier as far as Kroenke is concerned. with danny fiszman battling illness, he may decide to sell to kroenke at the end of this season, enabling a smooth transition of ownership at a stable time of the footballing year. stan also has the option of approaching minority shareholders for the remaining shares, many of whom have had stakes in the club for generations.
arsene wenger will sign a new deal along with gallas and campbell.
with new investment, wenger will stick to his principles of not splashing out £20m+ on individual players and instead buying young. the bulk of the squad will be kept together, with some fringe players departing.
outgoing wil be Silvestre, Senderos, Merida, Gilbert, Randall(all free), fabianski(3m), Vela(7m) and traore(4m). eduardo will spend a season out on loan at another premiership club, and vito mannone is likely to join a championship club on loan. youngsters such as craig eastmond and gilles sunu may also join premiership clubs to gain experience.
incoming will firstly will be wellington silva and samuel galindo, who will be granted work permits (silva will join in Jan2011 after his 18th bday). players such as pedro botelho, havard nordtveit, henri lansbury and jack wilshere will return from loans to join up with the senior squad, with botelho replacing traore and nordtveit replacing senderos.
in terms of new signings, arsene will invest in a goalkeeper, central defender and striker for sure, with the option of going for more if necessary.
the overwhelming favourite for the goalkeeping position is Manuel Neuer, who would be available for around £12m. Arsene may offer fabianski in part exchange. other options include Hugo Lloris, Renee Adler and Rob Green(only if WH go down).
In central defence, the players who have made Wenger's shortlist are: Cristian Zapata, Neven Subotic, Mamadou Sakho, Jerome Boateng, Serdar Tasci and Gary Cahill. We are likely to be priced out of the market for Subotic, Cahill will obviously be overpriced as an Englishman, and Sakho, though a brilliant player in the mould Wenger wants, is a left footer, so would fight with vermaelen for a starting berth.
Tasci is relatively untested and would constitute a big gamble, but wenger has been known or them. that leaves zapata and boateng. the latter is the younger of the 2, and the taller. both have great potential, but wenger may have more luck dealing with boateng, especially if could send somebody the other way.
up front, Chamakh is a done deal. whether he chooses to sign 2 strikers or bring back jay simpson remains to be seen. Although signing a second is unlikely, if wenger was to do so, he may approach Loic Remy who is eager to play for arsenal, or c cole who knows what it takes to play in the premiership.
wenger may decide to buy cover for song at dcm. he's realised we've missed him whenever he hasnt played, and adequate cover is not available. expect an over 30 to be given a 2 yr deal, with Marcos Senna or Torsten Frings being looked at.
the last attempt at a signing is likely to be a bid for Lille maestro Eden Hazard. despite having signed a new contract, Hazard is expected to leave Lille at the end of the season, as the club realise they havent got the stature to keep such a talented player, and can bring in in excess of £10m for him. the player himself has stated he would only leave Lille for Real Madrid or Arsenal, so we have a 50:50 chance of signing him. considering he knows he would have more playing time at Arsenal, who knows.
Kroenke will make money available for wenger, but wenger will not spend freely. he has become the master of carefully signing relative unknowns and making them so much better. recall rvp, vermaelen, henry, clichy, pires, etc.
recap: out: silvestre, senderos, merida, gilbert, randall, fabianski(3), vela(7), traore(4), eduardo mannone eastmond sunu (loan).
in: neuer(12), boateng(11), hazard(12), chamakh(free), senna(4).
Goonerwisdom.

Vital news for Southend United fans, and anyone interested in a story of a football club that is about to go under.

There are a mere 8 days to go before the hearing of a winding–up petition brought by the HMRC. A petition that was previously heard in the High Court which gave SUFC 35 days to pay arrears owed to the Government in unpaid taxes.

The players have been in consultation with each other, and there agents and have approached the Chairman through the PFA to state that they consider he is in breach of contract, and as such, they are not committed to play for the football club unless their salaries for March are paid – in full – prior to the game against Leeds United this coming Saturday. If the players go unpaid then they will refuse to play against Leeds, and as such, the Football League will expel the club for the non–fulfilment of fixtures.

Unfortunately, as the Chairman has neither the wherewithal to either pay the HMRC or the players the end of over 100 years of history is nigh.

As i said its very possible Higuain and Silva will also sign.

Fringe players like Itandje, El Zhar and others will also most likely leave.

I don't claim this to be 100% true. I claim its very possible. Up to you to believe or not.

Heard from sources very close to Sunderland goalkeeper Craig Gordon that Sir Alex Ferguson had been in touch with Gordon and sees him as the perfect replacement to Van der Sar. Also read elsewhere that Foster is away in the summer so this further backs up this rumour.

How do u know Jose is coming to Liverpool

Ignore the rumour about Steven Gerrard going to Inter with Balotelli going to Liverpool as part of the deal. Maurinho has been sounded out by potential new owners of LFC and as such has had conversations with Gerrard. Despite Jose's differences with Balotelli this season, he recognizes his huge potential and will want to take him with him. There is no guarantee that this particular party will succeed in their bid to take over at the club but they value the club higher than the Rone Group and are willing to purchase a a far larger stake. Gillett would sell up completely and Hicks would be left as a minority shareholder. A deal for the club will only be finalised a few days before the Bank's deadline as the owners wait for the best deal and the new investor waits for the banks pressure to force the owners in to the sale.

Having lost the dressing room all together, and seeing that the players brought in by Fergie jnr, 5 of which played for PNE at Selhurst Park, the Deepdale board are not happy with what they are seeing.

Heard from a very good source connected with the club.

A new manager is on the way.

After the defeat at Crystal Palace today, Darren Ferguson has been left with a lot of work to do in order to maintain Championship status. If he endeavours to do this then he will receive a hefty transfer kitty for the following season. He will be aiming to offload about 7 current players and will be replacing them all. His targets are set, his list is made. Preston North Ends destiny is in his hands.

Andy Lonergan to Man Utd as a long term replacement for VDS. 100%. Ben Foster will join PNE on season loan next season.
