Honestly I have heard that Wenger is sick of the lack of world class quality in his squad and so is Fabregas. Rumour has it they had an argument on Monday about how easy it was for Chelsea against them. Apparently Wenger told him they were very good and were unlucky on the day to which Cesc said it didn't look like we would have scored if we played until mid night.
This come from an insider in the club and he also said that Wenger told him that he had his eye on some players in January. According to this person Cesc was promised top players to be bought in if he would stay and it hasnt happened.
So he now says that Wenger is preparing a 50-60 million pound move from both Pepe Reina and Fernando Torres. He also says that Arsenal were 'very close' to securing Jagielka in the summer and he or Cahill will come in during the next 2 transfer windows. This fella told me about Squallaci before the press had it.
My reply was there is no way Arsene would spend that kind of money and he said he has to.
He also says that during a press conference at the start of the season Arsene Wenger said if Arsenal win nothing this year that he would have to re think his policy of bringing youth through the system. Apparently now he is bringing that forward 6 months. I still didn't believe him and he said that it was true and it depends on the situation at Liverpool come the transfer window. He also said that all the players he mentioned would not be cup tied in any competition. I honestly said aye what ever and he said that even when Cahill got sent off against Arsenal Wenger said it was a dark orange and maybe not a red. He asked me why would old crying Arsene Wenger say that about anybody unless he wanted him. He made all good points and had good answers to everything I said but im not sure still to believe him or not but he seemed serious and I know him well. Just thought I would post it up. (11)(35)
