As what I understand from my sources, Crystal Palace have offered the most in contract terms.. Latest rumour I've heard is Alex Chamberlain to Stoke City for £10m up front with another £2.5m in instalments to be payed over the next 4 and a half years. 3/4 of his family either live in Stoke-On-Trent or support Stoke City, or both, making the transfer a very ideal one for the 17 year old, plus the fact he will get first team Premiership football. The deal also includes Tom Soares going the other way to St.Mary's. I don't know how much credibility this rumour has behind it, but I thought I'd post it anyway as it is what I have heard and the source has been both right and wrong in the past with about a 55% success rate.. What I do know however is the AOC to Arsenal deal will NOT happen, and Man United are interested in higher profile players such as Nasri and Sanchez, whilst Southampton won't have any more contact with Liverpool because they don't like the way they conduct business. A move to Stoke, Tottenham or AC Milan look the most likely as it stands, but Chamberlain could still stay at Southampton.

Jack Cork will hold of talks with the saints for even longer and hope that once they head off to there pre-season tour to Switzerland, Burnley will come in and match there bid.
Cork's preferred option is the clarets and he has already stated that if no Premier League club comes in for him, then Burnley are top of his list. He told the Burnley offical website and sky sports at the end of the season "my girlfriend is settled here and Burnley will be the club i would consider top of my options list". Cork doesn't favour the move to Saint Mary's and talks have still not been held even though the bid was accpeted weeks ago
It's not likely to happen that quickly but Cork will eventually before the season starts return to the club where he has spent a full 18 months on loan and made over 70 appearances, with the majority as starts.(5)(5)

Watford fans, just to put the record straight. It's with great relief that I can confirm Watford are in no way interested in signing Chris Brown of Preston. There is truth behind our interest in Chris Porter, however there is still work to do, and he is to undergo a very detailed medical to prove his fitness after previous injury record, should a deal happen.
Apparently Ross Wilson is also 'testing the water' with a couple of Scottish clubs regarding potential left back options, one of which I believe is one of the Dundee clubs.
