This is what I have got for Liverpool fans. Rafa Benitez will not be leaving Liverpool, he won't resign, won't be sacked or won't join Real Madrid. He has listed a few players he wants to sign in the Summer of 2010 mainly and 2 will be strikers on a free transfer. These strikers are Goran Pandev and a surprise signing in Kris Boyd. Both will sign pre–contracts in January. There may also be another striker coming in on loan until the end of the season. Rafa has realised that there is no other goal threat other than Torres and believes that these 2 players will be willing to play second fiddle to Torres and are capable of doing a decent job should Torres get injured. He wants another midfielder who has a good eye for a pass and can unlock defences, and this player could well be Tom Huddlestone of Spurs as he is young, homegrown and strong. A centre back will be brought in who will again be homegrown. The players being followed are Ryan Shawcross, Gary Cahill and Matthew Upson. Sotirios Kyrgiakos will leave to go back to Greece as he was only bought as a back up for this season. Wingers will be brought in, Rafa has a list that consists of David Bentley, Ashley Young, Aaron Lennon, James Milner, Joe Cole, Santi Cazorla, Joaquin.

It is due to be announced that Trevor Hemmings will be pulling out of the Lillywhites, he is dis–illusioned with Preston and does not believe he is going to get his 9 million back by January. The possibility of the museum moving has also concerned him, as he believes this will happen and Deepdale will losa revenue as a result. The withdrawal of the funds will lead to Preston going into administration at the latest by summer.
The club is known to be making a loss as it is, with fans staying away.
Would love it is this werenot true, but the fact is this is going to happen.

I submitted a rumour yesterday that Houllier will be taking over Benitez at LFC in the very near future. Now I have heard an amazing twist to the story. Apparently Benitez is going to be the next Real Madrid manager with LFC receiving between 2–5m in compensation. Real want Benitez as they see the problems he is experiencing this season as a blip and believe his knowledge of the Spanish game and players and success both in Spain and Europe as something that they require and need. Also Real believe by getting Benitez will ultimately land them Gerrard and Torres for next season, the yanks are happy to let all three of them to go and receive top dollar from them. According to my source there is no rift between Alonso and Benitez, Alonso just got sick of living in Liverpool, the Juve offer tempted him but going back to Spain is what he wanted. There was even talk in the summer of an Alonso for Henry deal but Henry did not want to leave Barcelona for Liverpool. Another Real target will be Pepe Renia according to my source. Liverpool will also land a few of the Real players who will become surplus to Benitez's requirements, rumor indicates a possible return for Dudek and van der Vaart who wil be loaned first and then bought for the rest of the 2009–10 season at Liverpool along with Riise.
Have heard that no Rangers players will be sold in January. lloyds bank are sensible enough to realise Rangers are easier to sell if they are in a sound onfield position.

DUNDEE FC are interested in signing former Everton and Ajax winger Andy Van der Meyde. The 30 year old, currently without a club has been on Tayside this week to have a look at the facilities and the city. It is thought that a deal will be thrashed out to keep him at Dens Park until the summer.
DUNDEE are also looking at the possibility of taking Swansea's, Scottish striker, Stephen Dobbie on loan in January, as the Dens Park club look to boast their promotion credentials.

To the guy who posted this, your post seemed fairly credible, until you said "the Tevez money", hmmm last time I checked, Tevez was on loan to United, and no club actually owned him, a company did. So United didn't actually get any money from his 'sale' the company did.

These may/may not happen in Jan, but David Villa (if he does come) and the keepers will most likely be in the summer.
In a meeting this morning with some of Trevor Hemmings closest advisors and apparently he wants out of Preston North End by December, if he can't find a buyer by then he's pulling the plug on his investment and will sell to the highest bidder, even if that means selling Deepdale for redevelopment.
Ok, a number of players moving out of Rangers in January, which ones depends on which newspaper you choose. Coming in will be Ian Murray of Hibs (again) and Chris Baird of Fulham.
Nottingham Forest have a surprisingly short list of targets for January's window, and the majority of those will be loans until the end of the season. Unless a deal can be ressurected to bring Gareth Bale to the CG, which looks less and less likely as Birmingham are now turning their interest into contact, Forest will look to Shorey at Aston Villa to provide competition at LB, who has failed to break into the first team this season after rejecting a loan move to Pompey. One Spurs player who may be on the way though is David Bentley. Without a place in the Spurs squad most weeks, the England winger wants to show what he can do and play his way into the shop window next summer. Pleat is confident he can convince Harry, but we shall see. The only other target that Billy Davies is looking at is Kieron Dyer from West Ham. BD wants another old head to help out McKenna and to steady the ship. With Dyer not getting in the Hammers side at the moment, and his wages considerable, with their current economic plight they could well consider a deal that includes paying a hefty chunk of his salary.
Celtic look favourties to sign Benni McCarthy in January as Blackburn are unwilling to sell the striker to anyone in their league. Robert Koren is another likely signing from West Brom as Mowbray looks to strengthen his centre midfield. Ranger's Madjid Bougherra is an unlikely signing despite talk of a January bid– which may just be to rub it in regarding Ranger's financial mess. However Celtic do need a centre half; stranger things have happened.

Gomis of Dundee Utd could come involving a swap with Willo Flood and Charlie Mulgrew will return to take Danny 'the new Lee Naylor' Fox's place in the team. Maloney will also go if any unlikely offers are placed as will Scott Jobbie Brown.
