Lampard is going to QPR, whilst Terry is going to Inter Milan.

Reading might have to send out Adam le fondre out on loan if he does not get played ! he hasnt been playing for a while ... he needs games and needs to score pretty fast !(6)(11)

He played 2 weeks ago, and if i remember rightly, scored your winner.Send him to brentfordThat's what you get for signing too many players, players dont like hanging around on the bench, the younger ones want games, its the older ones that dont mind if they play or not and get paid for itThe same thing could be said about 90% of players at most clubs, what a load of tosh.

Henry to extend Loan deal at Arsenal untill the end of the season! could this bring trophies for the gunners ?(2)(36)Probably not. He is over the hill.Nope. Doubt it.Only thing henry has done and will do this season is score past leeds, apart from that one moment he was rubbish that game and every game since, i think the best he has to offer is his experience to the younger playersHandball Henry will just chalk up a huge medical bill. One goal just remember that one goal yeh his only goalLove to see it since he's arrived 1point out of 12 van persie gone from a goal a game to 1in 4 bring it mid table with stoker and everton............... sad!! especially with the players youve got... better than chelsea defo wiv rvpNo he is not - nutter!

Reading are already looking to the summer and trying to sign the freescoring Anthony Wordsworth from Colchester. Wordsworth is keen to challenge himself at a higher level and Colchester have already received enquiries from Hull and Ipswich but Readings style of play and track record of bringing players on appeals to Wordsworth, as well as the good relationship between the teams with Reading having loaned players such as Dave Mooney and Michail Antonio to Colchester in recent seasons.

If Nottingham Forest were to get relegated they will be making another bid for Lewis McGugan from Nottingham Forest.

Reading are keen on Robert Snodgrass but will only make an offer for him if they were promoted this summer.

They are also in the market for a left back. They have conceded defeat in getting Ryan Bertrand back at the club and narrowly missed out on Wayne Bridge. They have secured Matthew Connolly who can cover anywhere at the back with the view that he will be their first choice left back for the rest of the season. If his loan is successful and QPR continue to deem him surplus then expect this to be made permanent over the summer.

Reading have also enquired about Jordan Rhodes from Huddersfield. Rhodes is unlikely to join with the fee Huddersfield and is holding out for a mid Premiership team. They are also keen on Mason Bennett from Derby and are hoping their reputation of developing talent may steer the youngster towards a Royal move rather than into the obscure depths of a Premier sides youth or reserve team.

Reading are still in talks with Brighton for Craig Mackail-Smith and expected to go back in for him in the summer. They are also keen on Craig Noone

There will also be one 'marquee' signing from a Premiership team that will go straight into the first team with the deal is already close to completion.

Nick Hammond is due to sign a lucrative new 'long term' contract at Reading which Zingarevich will use as a sign of intent that there will not be an overhaul in how the club operates.

Several players will be leaving Reading in the summer including Brian Howard, Cederic Baseya, Brynjar Gunnarsson, Nicholas Bignall, Jacob Walcott and Brett Williams almost certainly gone. There will also be with further consideration for the futures of Sean Morrison and Mathieu Manset depending on incomings. At least one of Ian Harte and Joseph Mills are likely to depart the Madejski too.(5)(18)All rubbish.Craig Mackhail-Smith won't leave as Brian McDermott pointed out in his interview with Sky. Reading will have to look elsewhere.DOUBT ITBennett aint goin anywhere he is derby born and bredSo Mason Bennett, possibly the most promising young player in England atm, sniffing around Derby's first team at the age of 15, wanted by Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs, a few of which clubs have an excellent record with youngsters, and is being touted around for fees of up to £12m, will go to Reading. Please can I have some of what you're drinking?

Coventry city are trying to take Ricardo Fuller on loan from Stoke until the end of the season(10)(20)WHY NOT............great signing if he would rather play than warming Stokes Sub Bench!
Especially if Stoke pay most of his Wages.

03 Feb 2012 11:14:13
Ipswich have asked Reading to recall Alex McCarthy. They want Mikkel Andersen when the loan window reopens.(13)(8)They could just terminate the loan...Ipswich have no right to terminate within the terms of the loan. Has to be with Readings agreement. Reading not keen. The reason being is there's more chance of signing the young Danish keeper than there is of signing Alex on a permanent basis, Ipswich are building a team for the future ,, so will try for lots of young up and coming players, not the over 30 yr olds which has proved to be fatalThe signings jewell has made do not suggest he is building for the future.A new goalkeeper isn't going to help if your defense is still shocking

03 Feb 2012 11:12:29

ole gunnar solskjaer has been linked with rovers after a string of poor performances under dean saunders and is set to sign a 18 month contract with the south yorkshire club.(3)(31)Utter crap.No he is not.

What a massive lift it would be for the whole club, Fans and players alike! do the decent thing for Nottingham Forest and bring back Billy Davies(14)(10)A massive lift it might be but with no money and Billy already leaving Forest due to the Chairman and heavily doubt itNo, Please don't. He's an irritating, poisonous, manipulative little man.

Other chairmen have seen what he did to forest and have steered well clear.Or the alternative Steve cotterill mwahaHaha cmon you mighty rams on sundayDavis did his best for us,but got no help dont knock the guy works miricales
