  To the delusional lad claiming to be a Rangers fan who said

"I don't know whos coming and going, but im realy worried that its going to be the same as last season and we will be a laughing stock in European competitions.
COME ON MURRAY – RECESION OR NOT – SHOW YOUR LOVE FOR THE CLUB AND PUT YOUR HAND IN YOUR POCKET"

You really need to work harder if you are trying to convince anybody you are a RANGERS fan.

"You hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of your own eye; and then shall you see clearly to cast out the mote out of your brother's eye"

I and any real Rangers fan would be more than happy with the league and cup double this year, along with the already guaranteed champions league group stages. Obviously you are a supporter of one of our lesser rivals who feels like trying to divert attention away from their own teams woes.

The GERS will sign a centre back as cover for the ageing but still excellent Weir. Most likely TONEL from Sporting Lisbon will be the target. The other signing will be Chris BRUNT for LM. The rest of the team will be more than sufficient to win the league, a cup or two, and make a decent run in Europe.

Enjoy watching another year of Ibrox success and stop being such jealous little boys!!!!
  Aston Villa Rumours!!!

Wesley Sneijder (we can dream, think he's off to Inter Milan).
Stephen Warnock.
Matthew Upson.
And a rumour about Robbie Keane which won't go away. Why is Redknapp looking to offload Keane after only just buying him back? Clash of personalities? Bad Attitude? Maybe some of you Spurs fans can shed some light on this one.
MON will blood quite a few youngsters this coming season, with the Villa academy producing some excellent talent. The Peace Cup triumph (although only pre–season admittedly) certainly showed that. Expect to see Harewood and Shorey leave.
  Would arsenal fans wake up and smell the coffee?

You will not get villa or ribery or aguero. you havent challenged for the title in 3 years why would they move to the emirates???

Man utd – silva, villa (talks due after friendly)
Chelsea – pato, pirlo (ancelotti loves them)
LFC – de–rossi or aquilani

Aresnal you will have to make do with chamakh or Huntelaar. and unless you sign a CDM who will win the ball you won't be in the top 5.

Everton to sign Hutton
  I think all Arsenal fans are starting to get itchy feet with the clubs lack of business during the summer, however in the next 2 weeks this is all set to change. 5m bid for Chamakh was extremely cheeky bid but has led the player to criticise Bordeaux publically following their rejection of the offer, this will decrease player value as he has threatened to go for free next season. Wenger will offer no more than 6.5 as he is only to add depth to position. Vieira will join club this week and I for one am so excited about the prosepct of him and Fabregas especially in the Champions league. A rumour i laughed off but am starting to hear alot about is that concerning David Villa. Wenger does have money to spend regardless of the cost of our stadium and has made 41m from Ade n Toure sales, he appears to be accumalating before making a move and is often very quiet on his moves before hand, Cesc has urged for bigger players to come, as did RVP who then signed a new contract and now seems very happy, even Toure said he left due to a lack of leaders and "bigger players", this all leads to believe that we have a big bid on the horizon. Alonso rumour is rubbish and we will not compete with Madrid. Villa wanted to stay in Spain but due to Benzema and Ibrahimovic transfers that ship has sailed and Valencia would much rather sell abroad anyway at the right price. Should Chamakh not join then do not be surprised to see a huge signing for the Arsenal especially as we are playing Valencia on Sat, an ideal opportunity to hold talks. Likely it won't happen but it is a rumour gathering pace. Also Vela going out on loan and Bendtner will leave when new forward brought in. Either Matuidi or Cabaye will sign for 5–6mil. No defensive signings and eboue is staying. .for now.

  I can't believe that clown telling david murray to put his hand in his pocket,talk about being ungrateful,i'm a celtic man and i wish murray had been a tim given the amount of money he has put into your team,i also think you're a bit harsh on whittaker i hate to admit it but i think the guy is a good player and always plays well against us
  Chamakh has been seen in london today but he is not going to arsenal he is at west ham having a medical

  Blackburn rovers are to sign klanic also to put a loan bid in for nani and are neogigating a price for niang. Man city are also going to bid for morton gamst pedersen and niko krancjar for 12m overall price for the 2.
  Just been speaking to stephen warnock as my dad is painting is house!!! And he confirms that croatian klanic will sign for blackburn and blackburn are 90% certain he will claim a work permit !!! Also he does not want to leave blackburn for villa and won't take any contract they give him. Niang is willing to quit marseille for blackburn as the premier league interests him. And united will sell nani for 8m to blackburn but the deal includes pedersen going the other way. Ross wallace is also exiting preston as wolves are interested.
  Danish defender Ulrich Vinzents is currently training with the Notts County team in the hope of getting a contract according to reports in Sweden

he plays for malmo
  Notts County very close to signing Karl Hawley and Nicky Weaver. . both to be announced this week
  Leeds want £10 million for Delph. City have so far only offered £25 million. Negotiations continue.

City are also looking to buy the moon and paint it blue.

Sparky was also rumored to be splashing out on Jordan at the weekend, but don't we all from time to time.

  To the plank who wrote

"Forest To Sign Kris Commons 2.5m Plus Nathan Tyson And Joe Garner."

On behalf of all Forest fans and Direby fans, grow up. Neither club wants that deal and it's about as likely as me waking up tomorrow with an extra head.

The Mills deal however is getting heated. Reading want him, but can't even match the offer we've made, whichmay finally have got that p–rick Ryan to reconsider his market value. A deal was in place last week before he got greedy and it could be fastracked so keep watching the Forest OS!!
  Rumour has it that craig bellamy is about to make a move from man city to stoke city in the next two weeks. also there are rumours around that ryan shawcross will go to tottenham for 12m and arsenal are interested in sign abdoulyle faye for 8 million pounds
  I have it on good authority that Dean Ashton is going to Spurs for £6miilion plus Dawson. Also WHU will be signing Vela on loan for the rest of the season

And to the Spurs fan that said that they were not a insignificant club. . . .you are and every gooner thinks this too and every Hammer!
  Well looks like the inevitable is about to happen my fellow evertonians. Lescott will ask for the deal to man city to go ahead I am afraid. I would imagine the fee to be around the 20–22M mark. Upsetting really as we turned him into an execptional defender when he was an injury prone, sub–standard, 1 dimensional stopper at wolves. Anyway you don't need me to tell you that money talks. Expect the following players to be approached by Moysey:–

Senderos (5–6M)
Sol Campbell (Free Agent)
Hangeland (7M)
Defour (12–13M)

Not all these players will be signed but these will be Moyes's likely targets

Not forgetting we have already signed promissing german centre back mustafi Shkodran , american talent in Anton peterlin & Cody Arnoux. And are currently giving a trial to a much coverted slovenian Peter Stojanovic.

Thats how its done city. You BUILD a team, you don't BUY 1. Once again Moyse showing the lesser managers how its done. If only these money hungry players could see that Everton are on the verge of greatness with moyse. See you in europe sparky – ooops no we wont, we will however see you out of a job by xmas when the ego–maniacs in your circus of a team implode and leave you mid–table. Away defeats to stoke, bolton, and pretty much any side who your lot don't fancy playing me thinks :)

THE COLSTER
  Arsenal will this week complete the signings of Maroune Chamakh and Patrick Vieira with further additions dependant on departures. Hangeland will only come in should fulham want senderos as part of the deal and matuidi move is dependant on trimming midfield with a possible departure of Denilson to Italy. Liverpool have signed Aquilani as direct replacement for Alonso. Silva or Aquero not coming in only other new comers will be in any p/ex with madrid – possibly Huntelaar, Negredo or sneijder. United WILL sign douglas costa and make a move for Silva of Valencia. City to sign lescott and delph, if lescott chooses to stay the upson will move and alos lucas neill is being considered. Chelsea will sign Pirlo for 11mil and any other signings will again depend on departures. Ballack is one that will likely leave with Pirlos arrival. Young, Villa, Ribery, Trezeguet will not be moving and Beckham will only join 2 possible clubs – Milan/Chelsea. Apologies about previous rumour of Villa to Arsenal, was a story circulating alot but has no foundation and he will stay at Valencia for at least another season and club DO NOT have to sell. Still set to be some more exciting transfers this month. Pompey for relegation this season – got to be worth a bet!
  UNITED vs Liverpool

The battle has begun.

SAF & Rafa are going to fight over:

– Aguero (Atl.Mad.) £35–40m
– David Silva (Val.) £20–35m
– David Villa (Val.) £30–35m

Neither of the clubs will get all of them but there will be a pre–season loser in this race.

Other rumuors:

Alonso will be leaving and his replacement will be Christian Poulsen (Juventus) £8–12m. C. Poulsen and teammate Sergio Almiron are training with the youth–squad while the rest of Juventus are preparing elsewhere. Poulsen has already rejected Galatasaray and Fulham. A couple of Danes are already in LFC as well.

SAF will make another surprise signing and this time it will be a big one.
Ribery is coming to Old Traffort and we will win the PL again and again. .

The Red Devil from Denmark
  Cardiff have had a £2.8m bid for Liverpool's Voronin accepted however the player has rejected the chance to drop into the championship.

Liverpool have contacted a number of premiership and championship teams regarding the availability of a number of young players sounding out potential loan deals. Ipswich are interested in Nemeth while burnley, Portsmouth, Cardiff and Plymouth have all registered their interest in Plessis.

  My uncle is a football agent, and although I can't tell you who he represents, I can tell you some inside info.

Sheffield United are about to be taken over by a consortium with Blackwell to be given a £20–30 MILLION transfer warchest to get promotion this season.

The player my uncle represents has been approached by Sheffield United. They provided an outline of the aims of the club, including a list of targets.

These include:
Kris Commons
Sol Campbell
Kanu
Marcus Tudgay
Joey Barton
Kevin Nolan
Alan Smith
Fabian Delph
Alan Hutton
Andrew Johnson
Jimmy Bullard

SUFC want Premier League football next season with a view of European football inside five seasons.

Aqualani (spelling) is on his way to anfield as soon as the alonso deal is signed, sealed and delivered. Next on the Rafa's hitlist is David Silva. . . .will happen soon.

  ALAN GOW could be the next player to head out of Rangers this summer after the Ibrox club today agreed a fee of around £200,000 with Plymouth Argyle for the midfielder.

The former Falkirk player has endured a tortuous two–year spell at Gers where he failed to make the first–team breakthrough and started only two cup ties against lower–league opposition.

Last season Gow saw a proposed move to Wolves fall through after he failed a medical while he also failed to agree personal terms on a move to Burnley.

A successful loan spell with Championship side Blackpool also failed to yield a move South.

The versatile Gow is in Ireland with the Rangers reserve squad but is expected to travel for signing talks with Argyle boss Paul Sturrock tomorrow.

John Fleck, meanwhile, is ready to knuckle down in training in a bid to get his Rangers career back on track.

It is still unknown whether or not he will be included in the first–team squad for Wednesday's friendly with Man City as Smith assesses his attitude on his return.

But it is understood the highly rated attacker is determined to show how much he wants to make the grade at Rangers and force his way back into the top–team set–up.

Although Fleck's talents have always been known to a string of Premier League sides in England, he wants to become a key player for his boyhood heroes.

Charlie Adam was today still in talks with Blackpool, while Steven Lennon could be on his way on loan to Stuart McCall's Bradford.

The Bluebear
  Brighton to sign Nicky Butt on loan.
  To the guy who wrote:

"Cardiff city.
my uncle works for the club and he tells me cardiff will make 2 signings this week,one is a young winger from liverpool called plessis,on a season long loan".

Plessis is a defensive centre midfielder not a winger
  Couple of spurs post's'

first off guy's reporting that they will be getting dawson?? wrong! A, he has an achilles injury and B, he is very happy at white hart lane and does not want to move, redknapp want's four top class centre halfs in king, woodgate, dawson and one other? also gareth bale will not be sold! let out on loan maybe but not sold! expect spurs to come in late for delph like they did with both kyle's from sheffield a sort of smash and grab!!
  Sunderland to make one final bid for Cattermole as Bruce is still looking to strengthen his midfield. Sunderland also have "fires in the iron" for a number of defenders including SOL CAMPBELL to bring experience to his squad. Also a possible sneaky last minute bid for Delph.
  To the Nacker who claims Sunderland held up the Bent transfer. Sunderland have only paid £12m for him so why would they pay a £12m down payment!
Was it not Spurs who falsely claimed 2 other teams where in for him. A rumour the player & Phil Brown said was pure fabrication. Redknapp is just another cockney spiv!
  Sunderland to offer healy plus cash for Boro forward Tuncay Sanili.
  After Aston Villa complete the signing of Delph expect them to sign two more players by friday. The squad have a few days off and the manager is going to be getting down to business over the next few days.
Warnock will be the next player in, followed by Distin.
  Bob here again. Haven't posted for awhile, trying to get any solid info out of my contacts at Melwood is like trying to find a player who won't sign for City for the money! Everything's a bit quiet.

Rafa has full transfer responsibility. Dossena has cleaned his locker out and said goodbye to the staff last week and has signed for Napoli which will break by the end of this week.

Alonso has put a transfer request in (you may think this is old news but staff have confirmed it from him late last week.)

Mascherano's wife cannot get more than a visitor's visa and has had severe hold ups at the airport (something to do with amount of liquid in a container on the last visit), however the situation will be no better elsewhere in Europe. LFC are working with the H.O to rectify this situation.

Everybody here thinks more signings will come (no more than 2) but have little idea as yet whether it's going to be someone big.

Post more if it gets printed when i know

Bob the Red (PS United have advertised for a further 3 physio's, why is that?)
  Inter sign sneider on loan. .
alonso set to fly from barcelona to madrid for talks this evening.
lescott wasnt around today for everton pre–season game. . maybe at man city??? who knows. .

thats all my transfer talk for now,,, WEZZZY!!!
  Emirates faithful

With the last of the "invincibles" gone I wonder what arsene has in the bag for us. Surely he must buy someone who has the ability, not the potential, to turn us into a top force once more. With City on the up I can only wonder if Arsene is trusting the right players, but surely he must bring more experience in. Viera does not count.

In Arsene we trust. (?)
  Lucas Neill to arsenal. Wenger looking for more leadership at the back.
  Hands up if you think 'Goatman Gary' posts himself questions? If young Gary is not on the dole I'll be shocked. On a seperate note, the mighty Glasgow Rangers are hoping to sell Bobby Fleck by pretending that there was a fight between him and super Ally, hoping that clubs will come in for him as they desperately need money– like young Gary here. This has alerted the Rangers has–been team Cardiff City– who have been informed of his potential by all the ex Rangers players. A bid of over £2 mill will be accepted.
  Stockport County youngster Josh Thompson has agreed terms with celtic and is going back up to glasgow to complete a medical. This is a fact as he is a very good friend of mine.
  Its true MICHAEL MCINDOE will leave Bristol City within the next week as Gary J has accepted the bid but from an unnamed club. Rumour has it that Coventry, Hearts and Cardiff are in the race to sign the winger.

Im a city fan myself and i don't mind too much as he was poor last season and bored of his typical narrow play. Danny Haynes on the left next season will be quality and score bags of goals!!!
  Insider here!

I am a family member of the Lansdown family and my great uncle is Steve Lansdown the Bristol City chairman and he let me in on a few signings that will be done within this transfer window.

  Chelsea are going to complete 2 signings before the end of the market. One winger and another midfielder. Pirlo will sign for £20 million with claudio pizaro heading the other way. And they'll sign either franc ribery, david silva or ashley young.
Essien will be staying and so too will shevchenko. My mate works with the acadamy there and has heard through the coaches that this is the game plan.

He also says that man united will sign a big name before the close. With David Villa and Sergio Aguero being their two main targets. He says it's guaranteed that one of those players will be playing premiership football next season, whether it's for united or liverpool.
He says that the lescott transfer to city is complete and the only delay is that everton aren't entirely satisfied they have an adequate replacement lined up and apparently they've asked about taking ivanovic on a season long loan, but doesn't know any more on thr issue.

Arsenal will only sign a rotation striker as they already have so many which means chamachk will aign instead of huntelaar who is going to AC. Word flying round london clubs is that Marcos Senna is on his way along with Hangeland which supposedly will wrap up their spending for the summer.

He's in good contact with the west ham lot and they've signed a new striker to be announced either at the end of the week or beginning of next week but they won't say who it is. My mate is certain it's gudjonson but I think it might be balotelli on loan.

From what I've heard through him I'm pretty certain there will be some unexpected big names in the top four come september 1st.

–archyfooty–
  Rangers have had enough of John Fleck's bad attitude and will cut their losses by selling him to Wolves.

Although Manchester United have shown interest in Fleck, it is believed that he will benefit more by playing regular first team football at Molineux rather than play reserve–team football at Old Trafford.

Fleck's arrival at Molineux will see Michael Kightly depart for Cardiff for a fee of over £1m.

Jake ov Glasgow
  Just been out for a morning jog by the Stadium of Light and saw Jermaine Beckford coming out of a car with a few guys in suits.

Would love Beckford to sign for the Mackems! :D
  Does anybody know how much Rotherham United recieved for Reuben Reid?
  LFC has agreed Real fees over Xabi with 30 mill cash. .Rafa has already Bid the Roma Midfield for 19 mill completed. and he will be for Medical on 04 august. Dossena will not be moving to Italy as he will stay for one more year. Rafa will be buying 2 more players with the money 11mill + 8 mill. . He will be purchasing a Center Back and a Striker Possibly Negrado for 10 mill. .
  SPURS UPDATE:

The guys at The Shelf have done a great job by showing a picture of Darren Bent's Boarding card from T5 Heathhrow to Newcastle. Let's hope he stayed on this one.
  ~~~~~ Dead Sparrow is back again ~~~~~~~
can you remember what i told you? United were looking to sign 'AS' from an Italian side and 'SA' from a spanish side. . well they are still United's main targets. .
just forget what others like ngiak or goatman gary say on here. .SAF will never sign KJH or Robinho. .they are never on United list. .like I said 'SA' and 'AS' are still in United agenda and within a few weeks United will make bids (large bids i should say) for those two. . and i've also told you United were looking to sign YT or MF. but looks like SAF has changed his mind. now he is looking at other options which include 'AW' (frm a Belgian club) 'MV' (frm a
Portuguese club) . . . oh and forget 'ME' of United's rival team. .his club wouldn't accept bid for their rival club. . .
so like i said in late June, United are trying to sign–––
1. A.S
2. S.A
3. A midfielder
Oh and I've also heard that "EH" (Belgian from a French side) is on his way to Barcelona or Arsenal.
happy days. . ."DeAd SpaRRow"
  Whilst queuing up for my season ticket at St.Andrews last week which seemed to take forever (not because there were lots of us there – just three windows open at the ticket office!) a few of us spotted Craig Gardner leave through the main reception and about 20 minutes later Matty Fryatt arrive and go in the same way. Possible deals being sealed??? The talk of the queue was about the two trialists in this weeks friendlies – Albert Fataki and Landry Matondo who no–one in the queue had ever heard of but it seems deals are close. The other 'hot' topics were the possiblity of moves apparently in motion for Stephen Hunt of Reading and Julio Arca of Middlesborough.
  Liverpool are looking to sign the following after the 28mil deal for Alonso goes through:
Michael Ballack (6mil) or Javi Martinez (12mil
Sergio Aguero (35mil)
Voronin, Itjande and Dossena will all leave raising around another 5–6mil.
Aguero's versatility is very appealing to Benitez as he can play in any attacking position. Ballack is experienced and would become slightly more box to box than Alonso with an added aerial threat.
Benitez wants to switch his formation to 4–4–2 against the so called "weaker sides"
Chelsea will then sign Andrea Pirlo (16mil) and Renato Augusto (10mil) and they will also launch a 45mil bid for Frank Ribery.
  Joe cole to spurs for about £10–15m ,real madrid have agreed to loan wesley sneijder to inter milan with inter having the option to buy him for £15m , van der vaart has been offered to every top club in europe with chelsea or hamberg beeing the favorites to sign him
  Liverpool are looking to sign:
Sergio Aguero (26mil + Benayoun) @ 120k/wk
Joe Cole (11mil)
Javi Martinez (13mil)
Leaving will be:
Xabi Alonso (29mil)
Yossi Benayoun (swap)
Andrea Dossena (3.5mil)
Charles Itjande (0.5mil)
Chelsea will replace Cole with a 43mil signing of Frank Ribery.
Man United will be signing David Silva for 25mil or Arjen Robben for 20mil
  I love how all the spurs fans on here are giving it that alan hutton going for 4 or 6 million depends on who you believe, but what they don't say is almost all of that will go to rangers. Spurs still owe rangers 4 million for hutton and also a sell on fee of 15% so therefore will have to give rangers 4.6million. This was made public at the shareholders meeting when hutton was sold and everyone was angry he was sold for 9 million with add ons of upto 10. if hutton does go and celtic don't qualify this will give rangers an extra 7–8million which they will sign 3 players.
McCarther–500k+add ons= 800k
Tonel– 1.2m
brunt–2m
total 4million but only if hutton is sold and celtic don't qualify for cl
Outs will be
Beasley–700k
adam–500k
velicka–400k
smith–250k
total=1.85million but frees up wages for 3 above but as i said this is only going to happen if hutton goes and celtic don't qualify.
Also a little rumour i heard was that fleck missed the game against arsenal as he is in talks with man u about a 4 million pound move with rangers loaning him for 1 season. We all know how much fergie wants to unearth the next dennis law.
  Hi i am a good friend of ashely young and i can tell you arsenal will make an offer of 25 million he said to me it will be a dream to play for arsenal and to all you spurs fans his favriute club is not spurs bt arsenal
  To the guy that wrote this:
Who will replace paul scholes? fabregas will. A pre–contract has been agreed between man united and the gunners for a fee of £52mil. He will arrive in jan after wenger signs brazillian midfielder fabio costino
who the hell is your source??? You really believe that wenger the man who says how important it is to keep his team together would sell his captain and star man to one of the big 4!!! Man city would most likely outbid you anyway!! Now some realistic movements
Out:
Eboue (fiorentina)(9m)
Ramsey (Loan)
Silvestre (p/ex)
senderos (5m)
In:
Viera (free)
Matuidi (7m)
Saivet (2m + Silvestre)
Hazard (6m + add ons)
Chamakh (8m)
Sakho 7m
Richards (10m)
No really big names but all very likely. Hazard is pretty much done there are problems with the loan back agreement that Lille want for next season as arsenal believe he'll develop more at the emirates. Talks were held with PSG about sakho yesterday as senderos is off to everton. Heard that silvestre was going to finish his career at Bourdeaux with a player coming in the opposite direction. This could be chamakh or saivet but i think chamakh is already done and saivet has been on wengers radar for some time. These make sense as they are all young talented players and "arsenal" players plus it would be a summer profit of around 15m just what arsenal need. Plus the performances of Wilshere and to a lesser extent Rosicky means its looking brighter than expected nevermind not making the top four with these players added to the squad we'll be pushing for major honours next season
wengers sidekick
  Richard dunne was seen in sunderland today to complete a £6 million deal
  Aquillani and lavezzi to be signed by liverpool along with dossena to nappoli–rumour
  Tottenham Hotspur striker Darren Bent is understood to have arrived at Sunderland to undergo a medical and discuss personal terms with the club.And by 6pm tonight should be a Sunderland Player. Dawson and Bentley to follow Bent by end of transfer window.
AND
Liverpool in for cattermole for £9m as Xabi Alonso is off to real madrid
  WHU NEWS bad news!!!
NO takeover is going to happen at west ham for many years to come trust me , the club accounts are in a real mess wait until they are released later in the month !!!!!
Rumours of people wanting to buy the club are just wishful thinking by the fans
West ham have agreed a fee with Stoke for Ashton it's now up to him to decide if he wants to join or not,There will be no more players joining not even on loan or if current player's are sold
a very unhappy hammer
  SDM is convinced we need more good players at Rangers to play in the Champions league so on Wednesday night if Celtic crash out of the Champions league then Rangers pocket an extra 3.5m rising to 5.5m depending on how far we get in the Champions league. Providing Smith moves all the dead wood at Ibrox SDM will give Smith 8m and if we qualify in the Champions League he will be given more money to strengthen the team in January
McCulloch won't be moving because he is so versatile
Beasley won't be moving as he is good in Europe
Boyd won't move becuse he wans to beat Allys record at Rangers
The players Rangers are looking at are
Tonel, Danny Shittu, Mattias Bjasmyrr
Julien Faubert, Mark Besciano
James McCarthur
Sone Aluko
Lee Wallace
Chris Brunt
Palladino, Eduardo Vargas
Alex Smithies, Jonny Tuffey
  Arsenal have made a bid in excess of £15 million for Klaas–jan Huntelaar. Wenger has been following Huntelaar for several months and after Real Madrid placed him on the transfer list last week, Wenger couldn't resist.
We have also made a sensational move for Xabi Alonso who requested that he be put on the transfer list this summer.
I do work at the Emirates and hear the odd thing here and there, Wenger has said on numerous ocassions that he would like to play by the book this summer. That, and many other reasons, is why he has ended his interest in Chamakh.
  I have read that Chelsea are prepared to offer 55m for Alexandre Pato to try and finalise a deal.
  To the WBA fan who said you would sign Wheater for £3M from Boro. If you're going to post on here at least know what you're talking about. Boro already rejected £8M for Wheater and after the Lescott and Terry deals were harder for Man City than they expected, Wheater started getting linked with a £15M + move to them. £3M is not going to happen
With the arrival of Maric & Askou, Gunn’s squad is nearly complete.
No more additions as wage restraints are govern any more players, but with the imminent departures of Russell to Burnly, Patterson to Preston & Cureton to Barnsley, don’t be surprised to see a January spending spree should NCFC find themselves pushing for promotion.
Huckerby’s return is a given come November, he will be joining short term as player but will move into a youth & coaching role over next summer.
One major positive Gunny has done is to encourage a European scouting network utilising former Norwich players to help set up and scout for potential youngsters. Gunny sees the need to produce quality at a price and in the current financial state at Norwich knows there will be little to spend even in the event of a return to the Championship.
