Plymouth Argyle rumours

Argyle are on the verge of signing utility man Paul McVeigh and former Sedan midfielder Najid Abdou. There is also a possibility of the signing of Tony Kallio who is a tall Finnish centre back. There is also a possibility of Argyle moving for Queens Park Rangers midfielder Gareth Ainsworth. ARGYLE will not BE SIGNING PETER THOMPSON FROM LINFIELD

Afc rumours

Next week Arsenal will unveil there new signing who is expected to be either Ricardo Quaresma or Luka Modric either of these players would be excellent signings and that will be the end to Arsene Wenger's Summer spending

39 Year Old Retired midfielder, Paul Merson could be set to come out of retirement following his impressive display in the Alan Ball memorial match with Luton Town boss, Kevin Blackwell suppodedly prepared to offer him a player/coaching role. Watch out on this story. Whether or not this happens, I am not sure but Blackwell is definitely set to speak to Merson next week.

Now that the Newcastle have signed Smith, expect big Sam to let Andy Carroll go out on loan for the season, possibly to his big mate Phil Brown at Hull City, toughen him up a bit and await the next Shearer.

Looks like DraGutinovic (Sevilla) and Cacapa (lyon) are in the bag and Baines to complete a new look back four.

Howay the Newcastle. smb

Danny Murphy believed to be interested in an initial three month loan at the Britannia Stadium. Tony Pulis is along time admirer. Although heavily linked to Leicester, Danny believes he has more of a chance attracting Premier interest at a challenging Potters side, than a new LC side trying to establish themselves under a new regime. Stuart Smith, spokesman for the Foxes, agrees that the Potters will be one of the 6 major challengers in the Championship this year, where as LC are realistically lookong to the following season

Their has been rumours flying around evrywhre the only truth is that van Persie has said to Arsene Wenger that he would love to see Wesley Sneijder at the club and his wish is to be fulfiled. Wenger knows to win the championship he has to keep van Persie happy for him to score. also Lassana Diarra has a medical on Sunday and will sign on Monday.

Please stop making it up Quaresma IS not going to Arsenal (as much as we would like it) Look out for bargain forays into the French and Dutch markets if Arsene Wenger does not purchases in next 48 hrs. I have been told this by a North London journalist (who has lied in the past though).

To whoever said Curtis Davies will join Newcastle: do not you follow football? Sam Allardyce infamously said he would not pair him and Steven Taylor as they would be "too inexperienced", hence the imminent arrival of Cacapa.

Meanwhile, Arsenal plan to re–sign former youth player David Bentley from Blackburn for £6.5 million. The move could also be made for £4 million + Johan Djourou, while rising star Kieran Gibbs will join struggling Leeds United on a 2–year loan deal in the next two weeks.

Liverpool's Nabil El Zhar will also join Leeds (on loan), along with Joel Porter from Hartlepool (permanent, £100,000).

Liverpool will sign three more players before the transfer window closes. One will be a Left–Centre Back, possibly Gabriel Heinze or Kakha Kaladze. The other two will be wingers, possibly Ricardo Quaresma, Mancini, Jesus Navas or Morten Gamst Pedersen. Scott Carson will not be allowed to leave on loan, and is wanted to challenge Pepe for Number 1.

the Hammers will replace Paul Konchesky with Celtic's Lee Naylor, who had an incredible first (and last) season in the SPL.

Charlton will sign Hearts' Robbie Neilson for £1 million to replace Luke Young.

Ciao

Following an agreement between Newcastle and Everton to not get involved over a bidding war for Smith, Owen will be allowed to join the Toffees for the minimum price. He has already (for the first time) announced his Everton links and is waiting to return to the North West. He has recenty joined my golf club in Cheshire.

  NUfc Rumours

After the capture's of Cacapa and Smith, Big Sam is currently holding talks with Enrique (Villareal) over a possible move to St. James' Rumours flying around that Drenthe (Feyenoord) will be flying in for talks to a possible move. So with the Strike force and Defence almost 100 percent complete for covers and starters, Big Sam will be looking to add to his midfiled (Being the possible 3– four more players he was talking about) If N'Zogbia goes (Unknown fee and Club interested) and Duff not fully fit, Milner is the only cover for that role (Solano will be playing a right mid or right back role) strong rumours of Ficha Jugador who can play left mid or right, of Sevilla will be joining, But this is just a rumour. Also word from Upton Park this that Dyer's move to the club could collapse and than Manchester City and Aston Villa will jump board on the race to sign him. And the final rumour of the day is that Smith will try his best for Gabriel Heinze to join him at St. James' –RH–

Firstly I am glad you Arsenal fans know your stadium. Because everyone has quoted a different figure. The person who said 85,000 needs to wake up and smell the coffee.

This is not a rumour, but more of an observation. Royston Drenthe was lacklustre (walked most of the game) in his performance tonight, I believe this is because he is on his way out. However Quaresma was all over the place and I believe he was trying to impress someone. Both Wenger and Benitez were in the stadium.
