Leaving will be Lisbie, Holland and Sam will go out on loan for 6 months. Arsenal News - Cole to Chelski for £6m + Bridge + Gallas + SWP. Man Utd News - Kerlon will sign and go on loan to Ajax for a season, Senna and Diarra are still options for midfield, while up top SAF is looking at Toni, Tevez or Trezguet. He is trying to get the Glazers to move for 2 of them and Simao and Lennon are also a targets. As for the press conference SAF was just being smart by saying he was happy with his team, for 2 reasons 1 to get the best price on his targets and 2 incase he misses out on his targets his team will think he hyas 100% faith in them. Jewells insistance on getting £6m for Chimbonda has priced him out of a move to the lane as the club do not value him that highly and will not be held to ransom. Expect a move for Lucas Neill instead as he can also cover CB with Ledley out with injury. Martin Petrov of Athletico Madrid is also a possible for left wing, however this might prove difficult. If this doesn't come off then Downing is second choice or we might wait and use Routledge and Lennon or go 3 up front.
To all the barcodes who think they're going to sign Defoe for £8m-£10m keep dreaming. We turned down a £12m bid from hang dog 'arry at Pompey so why would we accept lower now? Especially as we got so much from United for Carrick. Truth is Defoe is going nowhere he has already stated publicly and privately that he loves it at Spurs and wants to prove himself there, so forget it!

I know this site is basically a liverpool fans forum but im here to talk about Chelsea.William Gallas is set to leave the club.The player has been unhappy for some time now after constantley being played out of position.I think we have made a big mistake by letting the situation get to this stage,he is one of the top defenders in the world and will be hard to replace.I can only think of two players as possible replacements.The first being Roma's Christian Chivu the other is Ledley King.Either one of these will cost mega money as they are very important players to their respective clubs.
Another player set to leave is Hernan Crespo.As soon as Chelseas 8mil asking price is met he will be of.Likely destinations are Inter,AC Milian,Roma(could be used as part of any Chivu deal)and Fiorentina.Chelsea might wait untill January before they sign a replacement seeing how Sheva,Drogba and Kalou get on leading the attack.Possible replacements are Tevez 25mil,Torres 27mil or surprise candidate Jermaine Defoe 10mil.
Regarding Ashley Cole,I have heard from a very reliable source that he will be a chelsea player by Friday evening.The price will be 22mil.Oh and by the way all you hopeful Newcastle fans you will not be signing Wayne Bridge especially for the measley sum of 3-4mil that some of you seem to believe.

First, to the Newcastle fan who claims Ibrahimovic (the most over-rated player in world football) isjoining them, think again, W. Bremen are set to make a bid for him to replace Klose who is on his way out of Germany. Possibly signing for Man Utd or even Chelsea if Crespo leaves. If Man Utd bid fails as it no doubt will a bid for Kuyt or Trezeguet is not out the question. Van Bommel or Senna to come in to provide more competition in midfield. Ronaldo is not going to Holland with United as an offer from Real Madrid has been accepted, not because he needs to improve his fitness before the season. It involves a player coming the other way from Madrid. My bet is Gravesen + cash which will leave no need for Senna and more cash for a striker. This is due to Ronaldo and Rooneys not so happy make up this week which was made clear by Ronaldo's people to Real. Look out for some movement on the Tevez deal by mid August.

wigan are furious with chimbonda. they are trying to offload him elsewhere so tottenham don't get their way and get him sub £4M but the player has said he will not sign for another club. seems tottenham and chimbonda are working closeley to force Wigans hand. other rumours that arent true is ronaldo is not getting the cold shoulder from gary neville all is fine in the Man U camp unfortunately :(

FACT- SAF has 25m leftto spend. $5m for Senna has been agreed, the remainder will be for Torres plus add ons. AT Madrid would rather take 20m now than nothing next year when his contract comes to a bosman.
Well, who ever has been following SAF knows that he would not sign players for fun, he is a guy who only has realistic targets. most Man Utd fans think that buy spending big we achive sucess but it is not the case. Realistically only one or two sign ins would happen, with Carrick signed may be another midfielder, possibly Senna. He is a great player only if u follow spanish league do we know about him and I think he will be a big edition. Marcheano and Tevez are just distinct dreams because I donot think they are proven enough to spend millions. While when it comes to strike force there are no needs for reinforcments as Rooney, Saha, Smith and Rossi is a very formidable strike lineup.

Newcastle are currently holding talks with Tavano but Inter Milan and other clubs are also showing intrest. If he signs he will cost us around 7 mil. If this falls through newcastle will go for Kuyt or Klose. Defoe is also on Glen Roeder's most wanted list. There is a 50-50 chance that SWP will sing on loan. Steed Malbranque will come to SJP near the end of the month because Fulham will want to get something out of him. Newcastle will try to get some players on for free, such as Cambell or Gravesen. Trabelsi is also a major target. Bridge will join newcastle shortly after the signing of A.Cole (to chelsea). Milner is NOT leaving SJP. Expect to see some good signing shortly. Boumsong will leave as well as Faye and Babyaro and other players.

Valencia are looking to wrap up the transfer of Simao from Benfica next week. They are creatively engineering his wages to meet his demands without immediately breaking their salary cap. Roberto Ayala wants to go to Villarreal as he is displeased with his extension offer. Valencia have offered to put Ayala in a deal for C.Ronaldo of ManUtd, but this is quite unrealistic. Valencia will not be able to pay C.Ronaldo's salary without going well beyond creativity. Los Che are looking at making a bid for Jorge Andrade of Deportivo La Coruna as Ayala's replacement, but such a bid will be both expensive and highly competitive. Valencia have not yet given up on Luis Garcia of Espanyol as a forward replacement for Mista despite the resistence of RCD; and VCF may consider selling Mario Reguiero to Real Betis to help fund Garcia's purchase. The only concern is that without Reguiero, young Jaime Gavilan or David Silva will be the only cover for Vicente.

Randy Lerner will step up his efforts to buy the club in the coming days with a formal bid expected the weekend or early next week. This will allow O'Neill to spend a bit of money before the transfer window closes. O'Neill apparantly has deals in place for petrov and is understood to have an agreement with chelsea for SWP(this is due to working with his dad at the BBC during their world cup coverage)a striker and centre back will be brought in before september, but as yet are unkown. Most transfer activity will be in september however when he will still have the majority of the 50mil transfer kitty available.
