For everyone that thinks AW wants to put Nasri in the centre you are incorrect. On arsenal.com AW says that samir likes playing in the centre but he see's him as a winger because he has tricks and pace.
Anyways on to some rumours:
outs:
I have no idea hopefully Almunia, and gallas will probably leave aswell. (rosicky will leave only if AW brings in hazard)
Ins:
Kjaer (one of the most talented cb's iv seen) £12m
Hazard (WILL be world class) £15m
Sissoko (holding mid, crunching tackles, exactly what we need)
and a keeper i want lloris but will be way too expensive.
Arsenal team next season:
Keeper
sagna kjaer vermaelan clichy
sissoko song

nasri(hazard) fabregas arshavin
V.persie

Subs
gibbs
chamakh
walcott
denilson
diaby
fabianski (dont know why AW wants to keep him)

Barnsley FC

After being priced out of the transfer market in England Mark Robins has been forced to turn his search for reinforcements to europe. He has Identified Dijon striker Sebastian Ribas as his number one target, the former Inter star has had a productive season in Ligue 2 netting 16 times. Its is rumoured that Ribas is looking to move on and England is his preferred destination.

Arsenal will sign 3 1st team players and that's it, a GK, CB and ST.
The GK will be either Hart, Frey, Adler, Lloris 4 10m The CB will be either Subotic, Cahill, Sakho, Richards 4 around 10m, it is possible 2 of the above may come in.
The ST as we know will be Chamakh of course on a free.
Leaving will be Silvestre, Senderos, Gilbert, Gallas 4 free, Traore 4m, Almunia 3m and Eduardo 8m.
A few youngsters will be signed too Matthews will join 4 5m along with Jones 4 10m, Galindo and Wellington will be granted work permits.

To the chap who said:– 'My uncle had a few shares in liverpool during the moores years, he's been contacted by a group who are gathering a gang of ex players and a few wealthy people willing to invest long term to buy the club, he said they would all prefer to leave rafa in charge as he has developed the club behind the scenes to a world class level with excellent staff, and brings amazing support from spain, usa, and the east, if they succeed he will have a modest 30mil plus to spend without sales in the summer, but new stadium won't start until 2012 priority is club back into the champions league.'

Nice idea, too little too late though im afraid:– Rafa's meeting with chairman will be to thrash out the terms of his departure. New owners are close to being finalised, out of two only one can build the stadium without delay AND provide sufficient funds to develope the team. Mascherano will unfortunately be collateral damage and will follow Rafa, not sure about the rest of the players will depend on who comes in to manage us i suppose!

Any burnley transfer or manager rumours ?

03 May 2010 22:08:13
Leicester will sign Richard Brodie next season for an undisclosed fee.

03 May 2010 21:50:47
I heard that when Ellis finally buys rangers he will give rangers £15 mill to spend and will also allow Walter (if he's still there) to spend any money rangers get through players leaving. This big transfer budget will not be a regular occurrence every season but Ellis is just testing the water to see what players Rangers can attract.

Expect Danny Wilson to see out his contract but Kris Boyd and Novo will stay.

Possible Rangers In

GK – Kasper Schmeichal (Free Agent)
LB – Charlie Mulgrew (aberdeen)
MC – James McArthur (Hamilton)
MC – Jimmy Bullard (Hull) – he will only come if he doesn't find a better club
AML – Andy Driver (hearts)
FC – Anthony Stokes (Hibs) or Garry O'Connor (Birmingham)
Also Carlos Vela on a season loan from Arsenal

Rangers Outs

Allan McGregor – birmingham
Stevie Smith – Blackpool
Kevin Thomson – Fulham
DaMarcus Beasley – PSV
Kyle Lafferty – season loan to get his confidence up
Andrius Velicka – Season loan

03 May 2010 21:48:24
In light of Leonardo leaving A.C Milan, Berlusconi will go all out to get Marco Van Basten in charge for next season. The other choices are Fillipo Galli (who Carlo Ancelotti wanted to bring with him to Chelsea in the summer.) and the other would be Frank Rijkaard. Although Rijkaard won't go if Ronaldinho is still at the club as they have fallen out since their Barcelona days.

Transfers coming in at the San Siro will mainly be free's and players over 30 as they will not cost much in a transfer fee and Milan can afford the wages.

Players in will be;

Mario Yepes (Done Deal) Free

Per Kroldrup (free) Fiorentina

David Trezuguet (out of contract) Juventus

Dimitar Berbatov (Swap for Klass Jan–Huntelaar)

The last one will be the only buy which will involve money parting from Milan. Fee is belived to be about 5–10 million.

Players out will be;

Dida (whoever wants him)

Favalli (retire)

Ronaldinho (if he does not agree a new contract by the start of the new season)

Marek Jankulovski (had a falling out with Leo by not going to Inter in the January window and now wants to leave regardless of who the manger will be)

03 May 2010 21:42:48
I've got a sneaky feeling a deal has been struck for Milner to go to United behind O'Neill's back. That's why there was all that dribble on the net about him possibly quitting. It seems Moyes is being buttered up as an outside bet to become the "new" Sir Alex, is this just so United can prize away three of Everton's best assets Gosling, Piennar & Rodwell. If United do get at least one of these talents could Moyes be Managing them again at United in a few years? After all Fergie wanted Moyes as a No.2 before he went to Everton.

03 May 2010 21:43:36

––––––––––––READ CAREFULLY––––––––––––––––––

ARSENAL FC:

To all you people who say about 6 or 7 players will come in, NEVER GONNA HAPPEN! Sorry, but we all know the way Wenger spends. He has admitted himself that he will sign 2 or 3 players, and he may invest in a bit of youth, but THAT'S IT!

Proper Rumours:

Sebastien Frey (£7M) Would be perfect. Great goalie, has 3 or 4 years left within him, then Szcenscy takes over, and he is a leader, something we lack.

Simon Kjaer (£10M) Only recently turned 21, but he in my eyes would be great. Lots of speculation that Wenger is preparing a bid, and he is probably the best value defender we have been linked with. Subotic is too much

Marouane Chamakh (Free): We all know about Chamakh.

Those definetly will take place, and there are a few possible signings:

Steven Nzonzi: Big Sam has said it would take a lot of money to get Nzonzi to leave Ewood Park, so this may not happen

Felipe Melo: Lots of links for a long time, good player, but Wenger may want to move Nasri along side Fabregas

Eden Hazard: Only will be signed if Arshavin leaves. Otherwise he will definetly sign next Summer.

Romelu Lukaku: He has said he wants to stay at Anderlecht for one more year, so I think he will come with Hazard to the Emirates next Summer

Van Der Wiel:

Will only be signed if Sagna leaves.

BREAKING NEWS

Andrew Ellis has confirmed through his spokesperson that he is in the process of buying Rangers Football Club in a £33 million deal. Ellis's spokesperson confirmed that he Ellis was in Africa mulling over the financial books at ibrox and is now 100% certain that he wants to buy the club. A time scale of two to three weeks has been giving before an official announcement is made about the official takeover being completed. It is thought that Ellis is attracted by the massive amount of land that Rangers own around their stadium and with Rangers having provisional development permission to redevelop the area, Ellis is snapping it up to build hotels and Housing schemes. I also heard through a director of rfc holdings that Ellis is planning on Giving Walter Smith a 4 year deal with the first years transfer budget to that of the champion's league money that they will receive at the end of the season.

03 May 2010 19:30:43
Rangers News:

As I posted a couple of weeks ago, Ellis is on the brink of taking over at Rangers. At the end of the footballing season, the club will be in the hands of the property tycoon.

The area around Ibrox is to be regenerated by his company, but not into a casino, he has bigger plans (more to follow on this story).

On a footballing front, he will sanction new deals for the management team and some of the playing staff. Danny Wilson will sign a new deal and surprisingly so will Kris Boyd.

Transfer targets:

LB: Reynolds (Motherwell)
GK: Cerny(Hamilton)
MF: McCarthy (Hamilton)
LW: Driver (Hearts)
ST: Goodwillie (Dundee Utd)
ST: Griffiths (Dundee)

Roy Hodgson turned down a approach for Liverpool on Sunday night after the Chelsea game. He stated he is happy where he is and dosent want to leave. The club officials then contacted Martin O'neill at around noon on Monday afternoon. He has verbally agreed a deal to come to anfield on 2 conditions. One being that he gets full control of Transfers which has been agreed too and the second being he will be given the funds to bring Gabby Agbonlahor with him to Mersyside which has also been agreed. The deal will happen before the World Cup. Gabby will go to South Africa a Liverpool player..WATCH THIS SPACE.

Man Utd "RUMOURS" not facts!! as everyone else seems to have them lol

SAF is clearly not happy with the service from Berbatov, and despite not saying publicly he was clearly talking about Berba after the Sunderland game yesterday when he said it wasn't working up front, and the poor finishing let them down. So an experianced striker is a must to share the load, Hernandez has been signed already but he will be eased in slowly next season.
Also he is looking for the player who can replace Scholes, Carrick has not been anywhere near good enough, and the jury is still out on Ando, however Nani has shown that although it has taken 3 years he is able to perform at the top, so there's still hope for Anderson
So possible signings, Benzema, this one just won't go away, big possibility of year long loan with view to permenant deal, Real want half our team so maybe chance of promise of first refusal on Vidic/Evra or a possible swap deal, he is still only 23 so his best years are still to come, and with Real looking like adding another striker to there team this summer, he may be even further down the pecking order there.
The other signing could be one of three, James Milner/ Joe Cole/ Stephen Defour, Cole is free in the summer and with funds being questioned do we have them or not? he would make the most sense, at 28 he has another 6 or 7 years at the very top, and he looks like he won't back down with his wage demands at Chelsea which opens the door for a couple of teams financially, us, City, Scousers and maybe Spurs, Milner has come on leaps in the last year, since he has been moved central by Villa he has shown the attacking form that Scholes used to have 5 years ago, a real box to box player, and there is plenty of talk about a deal being done this summer, up here in Manchester, Defour is another that has being doing several rumour mills, however he has missed a big chunk of this season due to injury so its whether teams are willing to take the risk now or wait and see what he does for Liege next season when his price could raise even more.

So ins –
Forward – Benzema loan/£25 mill
Midfield – Milner £20 mill/Cole Free/Defour £15 mill

03 May 2010 17:17:44

I posted yesterday that DIC or linked parties are in talks to buy LFC, the other being the Chinese syndicate. Alot of people seem to think the DIC deal is done; I heard from a good source that they have offered 500m take it or leave it; the Yanks want 530m. I also heard the Chinese will invest more in the team than DIC who won't be doing a Man City style spending spree. Remember we have a stadium to build. Having said that I do think there will have to be transfer bait to attract a new manager.
Like all Reds I'd love to see us buy the worlds best players, but I'm told the focus will be based on a sound business plan.
One thing I can say for sure; Martin Oneil is not going to be the next LFC manager FACT.

RE: YNWA – Barclays/D.I.C info.

I'm wondering why something so high profile would be discussed in D.I.F.C rather than their Mid–East head office in the Burj Khalfia district? Its neither here nor there in the grand scheme of things but D.I.F.C aint exactly known for keeping things quiet, well not between the people that work there anways.

I also find it interesting that Barclays would be involved in a D.I.C/Sheik Mohammed takeover of Liverpool. Is it a case of a cousin scratching anothers backs? Sheik Mansour being a massive investor in Barclays and the son in–law of the Dubai ruler it could easily be seen that way. Could we be seeing the creation of a UAE dominance of the EPL?? Man City and Liverpool passing the title between them..

I have heard the Craig Levein rumours , but i have heard that Dermot Desmond has sounded out Giovanni Trappatoni about coming to Celtic to be a "father figure" to Neil Lennon while he gains more managerial experience , he would continue as manager of the Republic of Ireland , Mr Desmond would provide the funds to keep Robbie Keane at the club , as well as a few other signings in a bid to put us back on top in Scotland , i hope for a better performance in tomorrow nights game and a victory to restore some pride at the end of our most dissapointing season for many years , the last 6 league games have been more encouraging , but new faces are required as many of the current team are not nearly good enough , come on Bhoys lets beat this mob and then look forward to next season .

Comrades!

Liverpool's future will be announced AFTER the end of the season and BEFORE the start of the World Cup. Manager (still not defo that Benitez is going but highly likely), staff, any major transfers out will all be publicised in a very quick period of time.

This is to allow the season to end, but not distract those players who will be going to South Africa and to reassure the fanbase that things have changed.

My source works there in administration and she says that no–one but no–one outside of a very small circle knows anymore than that.

Man Utd are looking at Kaka but unbelievably as a 1 year loan deal. Kaka has not sold the shirts at Madrid, fallen out with the Manager (who looks likely to stay for another season) which together with poor performances has put his situation in jeopardy. Benzema continues to disappoint and Perez is likely to jettison him. Real don't want to sell Kaka but Benzema will be sold. The thing is that Kaka himself wants to leave as he feels it is not what he expected. He has great respect for Ryan Giggs and wants a chance to play with him. Unbelievably Kaka and Benzema could appear in the famous red shirt. Redrumourman

Just some up to date news regarding the takeover of Liverpoolfc, to put to bed some of these rumours on this site as they are far from the truth.
I currently work for Barclays capital bank in Canary Wharf London and have contacts in Dubai who also work for Barclays Capital in the Dubai International Financial Centre (Barclays Capitals office in Dubai). They have informed me that over the past week there have been some high profile meetings taking place in the acquisitions department of the bank, i can not give out all of the fine details to protect my source, so below is the info they have given me. These meetins were regarding the takeover of Liverpool fc, these meetings were attended by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and his finicial advisors, a deal has been agreed, This deal has nothing to do with DIC as they are in massive debt and do not have the financial power as does the Sheikh, and therefore can not commit to the buliding of the stadium right away. These meetings have now concluded with a agreement in place for the Sheikh to buy the club for £525m pounds with the promise of the new stadium and a potential big transfer kitty for the Boss (no figure mentioned). This deal is set to be annouced on Monday 10th May after the Hull game.
This deal will make the Man city takeover look small fry. You herad it hear first from a very realiable inside source.

03 May 2010 12:42:26
To the person who said that Martin Broughton has sold the naming rights of the stanley park stadium to Boeing – I just wondered how you know this? I'm not trying to be cheeky – it's just that it sounds strange because surely that would be up to the new owners when they come in as they are the ones who will be paying for the stadium to be built and they might not want to sell the naming rights. Also, if there are new owners coming in soon (I don't know if there are – just speculation and hope), surely they'd have their own people to do the negotiations especially when it involves such an symbolic part of the club. It might be something that would put potential buyers off because they would have had no say in who bought the naming rights and would be stuck with the situation for a long time if the deal is for 20 years as you say. I don't have any inside information or anything – I was just wondering where this information came from?

Does anyone have any information about Liverpool fc? Like every other Liverpool fan i'm just desperate to know what's going on as everything seems to be up in the air just now and I really hope there will be some positive news as everything surrounding the club from the finances and the owners to Rafa and the players seems to be going wrong.

Also, I just wanted to say well done to Fulham for reaching the Europa League final and good luck!

To get onto Priory Road from Utting Avenue you would go left not right. I have not spoken to anyone connected to the club and this is a genuine fact/rumour, I have not got a clue what is happening at LFC. You can quote me on this. Rafa needs to go and in my opinion will do so. We need a left back/centre back, winger, attacking midfielder and striker. Defo to leave under new owners/manager aurelio, degen, riera, babel and possibly one from kuyt/benayoun.

DIC are rumoured to be in advanced stages over talks to takeover Liverpool with a £500m bid. At the moment this is all being kept quiet, but if it is true, expect the sale of Liverpool announced at the end of the season, along with the departure of Rafa Benitez. A new manager will be appointed before the World Cup. DIC have apparently committed to start work on the new stadium and provide our new manager with a large transfer kitty. I am not going to be like every other Liverpool fan on here by saying that Mourinho will be our manager and we will sign Villa, Higuain, Silva etc. In fact I have no idea who we will sign in the summer and I have no idea who our new manager will be, but if the takeover is completed and we get a new manager before the World Cup, then we will hopefully be back on track to try and compete for the league again next season. All I do know is that Liverpool need to sign a LEFT BACK, maybe a CENTRE BACK, x2 WINGERS, ATTACKING MIDFIELDER and a STRIKER.

My son was home for the weekend from Oxford and I thought I'd reward him for his recent high marks on a Greek Civilizations exam by taking him to the Drapers Arms on Barnsbury Street. Dining there was none other than Nicholas Bendtner and Eduardo. I overheard one say to the other in accented English, "I am going to miss you, mate! I wish that Wenger was keeping you. But I think you'll love Lyon!" Now I couldn't tell who this was as my back was turned and I didn't want to stare. But I guess it means that Arsenal are making some modifications up front.

03 May 2010 08:44:02
Niels Christian Jung (Danish sports journalist) has told me that Arsenal are very close to signing Kjaer from Palermo, commanding a fee of around £12m. Others currently on the AW radar are Suarez and Van de Wiel both of Ajax. Expect a £25m to £30m joint bid for these players. Aluminia is on his way. Fabianski will be number 1 next season with Mannone number 2. Eduardo and Vela are both out. It's a shame about Eduardo, but Vela just can't cut it in the Premiership. Jay Simpson and Jack Wilshire will be included in the first team squad next season and Chamakh will be signing as we all know. A long shot that Sagna may leave for Juventus and rumours say that Clichy is tempted by Madrid. It's unlikely that AW would replace Clichy as Gibbs is ready and there is sufficient back–up in the sqaud already to cover his departure.

Rangers will NOT be bought by andrew ellis. but by parks and king. andrew ellis will not be able to come up with the money needed to buy Rangers.
Boyd will leave to go to EPL
McGregor will follow
Cerny will come in as a replacement for McGregor, and back up to Alexander.
young boys to get a run in the team next term. and McArthur and Goodwillie will be brought in to the champions squad.
Celtic will not have craig levin as manager. it will be lennon, and henrik to coach them, and bring back a bit of grit and determination to the team. Celtic will also get ride of a few players, ie Boruc, Samaras, McGeady. this will be used to fund the transfer kitty.

United Will Have Money In The Summer! David Gill Has Spoked Public More Then Once This Season.

United Will Need To Strengthen In Attack.. At The Moment We Got Rooney And Nani Scoreing The Goals With Owen Fit To Return At The Beginning Of Next Season.

I Will Say Carlton Cole Will Add More Options In Attack With Power, Speed And Height. Bargain Price Of Like 8–12m

I Would Love To See James Milnar In A United Shirt!!, Hes Class And He Will Bring New Options To The Team He Is A Already Proven Left Winger ( Were We Need Some Else Aswell As Nani & Park ) And Can Play In The Middle Aswell Now! Milnar ( 20–25m )

And Properly Need Another Striker As Douf & Danny Wellbeck Will Go On Loan To Get Some Experience Then The Season After Wellbeck Will Be A More Involved Week In Week Out.

Berbatov LEAVE!

Any up to date rumours on Liverpools buy out and new manager??

03 May 2010 00:51:33
Just to confirm what has already been rumoured. LFC has been sold, they don't want Rafa hence the silence from the board on Rafa's future. Rafa's Juve link was just a backup plan that he will have now to take. All to become public after the end of the season.

So ends our Annus horribilis, heres to a clean start and hopefully a more competitive LFC.

02 May 2010 23:42:55
Just found out through a internet news article that almunia's wife has stated on her twitter that she will be coming to spain soon. as far as i am aware almunia and her are not breaking up or anything so it could mean they are going to be leaving in the summer so if wenger is selling him this must mean he will buy a new goalkeeper for the number 1 shirt. obviously you can not have a goalkeeper like fabianski as number 1 due to his limited experience and skill and mannone is not yet ready for top flight football same for sznezcy. hugo lloris i don't know if wenger does not have faith in the other 3 then yeah he will get hugo lloris, my bets on sebastien frey tough since he is older and cheaper and once he starts to age the other 3 goalkeepers will be ready to take his place.

next season arsenal will continue to use the 4–3–3 formation possibly the 4–3–1–2 if we sign another striker (unlikely).
anyway nasri will no longer be playing on the wing as wenger said he wants nasri to be like pires however nasri stated he see's himself as an attacking midfeilder in the long run so will take diaby's place. diaby will move to the bench or if enough interest is shown sold.
midfeild should consist of
1 defencive midfeilder – alex song
1 centeral mid creative maestro– the 1 and only cesc fabregas he will be able to move back and play in his natural position this way.
1 attacking midfeilder the one known as nasri.
first team forwards will definatly contain van persie he won't be leaving.
however both arshavin and walcott have never hidden their desires to play for their boyhood teams and a bid from them will almost certainly mean they will leave. with gourdoila looking to replace henry on the left wing and benitez looking for a good winger to partner torres this will be likely.
for one of these a replacement will be chamakh, if both leave eden hazard will likely be signed or possibly a more profolic goalscorer such as david villa or bojan to partner up with van persie.
defense is a big thing that will change in the summer however since players have not spoken about arsenals interest or anything i cannot talk about this much. what is certain tough is our fullbacks clichy and sagna are being targeted by some of the big names in europe. centeral defence will be where we will strenghten the most, however not alot of people have any idea who these will be like i said so can't comment on it.
you heard it here first.. if you didn't . ok you probably heard it on sky sports transfer box or something but just a nice little sum up of arsenals transfer's from information we have as of right now.

After the game on Thursday, me and my mate seen Mascherano in his Audi Q7 stuck in traffic at the top of Utting Ave, we knocked on his window to say hello and good job on the immense performance he put in at right back against athletico, he seemed pissed off and we asked him if he was staying next season, he shuck his head and said no, before turning right onto Priory Road,

Make of it what you want, but this 100% percent happened, hope he was blowing smoke up our bottoms.
