LFC rumours:

Liverpool have been a little weak at the back i.e the full back spot so expect some signings there. Kuyt has been good but they need a prolific finisher like Torres so there will be a signing there. So there will be a big money signing there. And then he will buy two wingers who have already proven their worth. Crouch, Riise, Kewell, Voronin, Finnan will be on their way. If a superb offer comes for Carson then he will leave and maybe Yossi too will leave. Rafa will not sell guthrie because he is a good player. And many young players will be added to the first team.

Signings=

forward–(Kun aguero/David Villa) (15–22 millionion)/Henry (10 mil)

mid–Michael Johnson/Gareth barry

wingers–Agbonlahor/Ashley young/Bentley/David silva/vicente/Mancini (2 maybe 3of6)

def–rafinha/lahm/Alves/maicon (again 2of4)

So expect a lot of changes at Anfield. We ll never know Rafa can also be shown the door and if so he will go to Madrid or FC Barcelona or old club Valencia. And the new manager will be Mourinho (not likely)/big Phil scolari (very likely as contract up after EURO 2008)/Roberto Mancini/Mark Hughes (not likely as he is not a big manager)/Martin o niell.

  Rangers Summer signings

Rino Gattuso, Steven Davis, Alan Smith, Kevin Phillips, Van bronkhorst and Wes Brown

Bring it on. the double Quad

  Liverpool to sign

David Villa, Mancini, rafinha, Lennon, barry and Heinze

outs are

Crouch, Kewell, Voronin, Alonso and hyypia

Have been speaking to a friend of mine who is a sports journalist so he hears a few more rumours then most but he has told me some which the general press believe will happen.

Firstly David Villa is not going to Tottenham, he will go to one of the following, the Big 4 in the Premier League or FC Barcelona or Real Madrid, Tottenham are just being used to get a general price on the guy, so please stop dreaming about that Tottenham fans.

There will not be major changes at Liverpool, Rafa does want to go more English though so expect bids for Glen Johnson, Michael Johnson, Ashley Young, Barry, Lennon and Bentley. The mystery player already signed is believed to be Degen but knowing Rafa could be a curve ball yet.

Chelsea will keep Grant unless Rikjard (spelling) gets sacked, but there will be a lot and I mean a lot of money spent there this Summer to provide the beautiful football Roman wants, expect bids for Messi and Kaka amongst others and Chelsea to be quite public about it.

Man United want a predatory forward like Van the Man so expect bids for Hunterlaar, Benzema and Villa. The rest have already been mentioned like Valencia from Wigan + Fergie is always quite upfront about his targets.

Arsenal well expect as always youth and possibly one big name signing but it's unlikely with Wenger. Could be interesting though as if Hleb and Flamini go as then Wenger might have to splash the cash.

Tottenham, Villa and Newcastle have funds and to list all there rumoured targets would take forever basically they have been linked to half the Premier League and about 75 percent of the rest of the world lol it's seriously that bad scouts have been sent everywhere, congrats to Tottenham on Modric though he will be one of the players of the year if not next season but 2009–2010 when he has settled in.

That is all for now but more when I get them.

  Arsenal Rumours

Wenger has drawn up a short list apparently. for each position he thinks needs re–enforcing.

keeper: Canizares and Stekelenburg

Centre Half: Kompany, Gonzalo Rodriguez, Lucio and Andrade.

Midfield: Dimitriov, Ben–arfa, Robinho and Barry, Van Der Vaart and Van Bommel.

Forwards: Huntelaar.

from the list I reckon Canizares if Valencia go down, Rodriguez and Lucio, Dimitriov and Barry if Flamini goes, if Hleb goes he will Buy Robinho too, and he will bid for Huntelaar but might be outbid by the bigger clubs.

Ben–Arfa will not leave Lyon this season.

MAN UNITED RUMOuRS Kuszczack loan to West Bromwich Albion Welbeck loan to Hull City Evans to Sunderland for £6 million pounds Saha to Sunderland for £6 million pounds O'Shea to Sunderland for £6 million pounds Piqué to FC Barcelona for £12 million pounds Eagles to Wigan for free Martin to Sheff United for free INS: Garay for £12 million pounds Agüero for £20 million pounds Aaron Ramsey for 4 million+ clauses John Bostock for 3 million+ clauses Vicent Moses for 5 million+ clauses

Valencia duo Santi Canizares and David Albelda who were dropped in January by former–coach Ronald Koeman are looking to join up with former Manager Rafa Benitez at Liverpool.

Both players recently cancelled their contracts according to reports, Canizares is believed to be signing as back–up for Jose Reina as Itandje and Carson will both move on for first team football, whils Albelda will boost that much needed experience in the middle of the park.

These transfers will definitely happen in Summer:

Benzema–£22 mill– Man U

Villa–£12 mill– Tottenham

Lahm–£12 mill– Man U

Robinho–£14 mill– Arsenal

Sahin–£7 mill– Arsenal

Mancini–£13 mill– Liverpool

Richards–£15 mill– Arsenal

Bent–£8 mill– the Hammers

Veloso–£10 mill– Man U

Just read guillem Balagues column on sky sports the guy is the authority on who is going where in Spanish football, he predicted that Torres would sign for Liverpool last year, HERE Is EVERYTHING HE SAID.

Rijkard to be leave– Guardiola to take control.

Henry defo leaving for England

Valencia to sell 20 players, some being stars David Villa definitly leaving.

Real Madrid target forwards next year DROGBA, HUNTELAAR, Most Likely D. VILLA and CM coming to R. Madrid most likely ALONSO. He also said ALBIOL going nowhere, Capel going nowhere, And David Villa does not want to go Tottenham.

With these comments I think the guy who said Liverpool will Sign David Silva is correct and the guy who said Alonso for Drenthe + cash was correct as well.

Huge Celtic fan here in the US (and NYC) and have heard NOTHING about Jozy Altidore going to Celtic. As much as I would enjoy this, I am afraid it's just bad speculation at this point. Have heard nothing about Brad G. either but in my opinion he does not have the quality to play in Scottish Premier League and Champions League and/or even the UEFA cup.

Everton have had a good season and on the back of which they will again show their ambition to improve and aim for a high standard of player. they will attempt to sign a big name midfield/forward player, names in the hat are as follows:

Andrei Ashavin (M/FW) (around £8 million)

Luis Oscar 'Lucho' Gonzalez (M) (10–12 million)

Rafael Ferdinand van der Vaart (M) (15 million)

Other players being looked at are:

RB: Glen Johnson

CM: Kevin Nolan, Steven Sidewell (hopefully we do not sign him), Manny Fernades

RM: wright–phillips (? ), Giles Barnes

ST: Kenwyne Jones, Robbie Keane, Michael Owen

A good Summer for me would include the signings of:

Ashavin, Van der Vaart, Keane total of £31 mill

players offloaded: AJ (8–10 million), Neville (4 million)

Whittacker and Broadfoot will be given until January to pick up their form and for one of them to make the right back position their own.

Liverpool are close to signing none other than Thierry Henry from FC Barcelona Henry has agreed to join the Reds according to a sports radio station. David Bentley is also a certain signing for Liverpool. This will be good news for Liverpool fans as Torres and Henry would form a formidable partnership and could fire the Reds to a Premier League title next season.

Just a bit of clarification Yossi is going no where or Pennant or Sami. Rafa will buy four players + kids

We play 4231 so here goes 1 Reina got it good

back four new right back poss Boswinga centre backs two of either Agger, Skirtel, Carragher and Hyypia Left back to be bought poss Heinze two holders Gerard and Masherano three in midfield

Babbel + two others poss Maxi Rodrigues and Moreno up front Torres so stop linking us with players who would not get in the team and by the way Barry will play left back until Insua is ready IF HE COMES? another two possibilities are Samir Nasri and Andrea Pirlo. Pirlo in the two with Gerard moving forward or Nasri in the three

  Liverpool will sign:

Aidan McGeady (10 million) personal terms agreed

David Silva (18 million) enquiry made

David Villa (16 million) enquiry made

Santiago Canizares (1 million) enquiry made

Philip Degen (free) done deal

Wayne Bridge (5 million)

Mario Balotelli (5 million)

Leaving will be:

Andrey Voronin (1 million)

Harry Kewell (Free)

John Arne Riise (6 million)

Scott Carson (6 million)

Charles Itjande (1 million)

Danny Guthrie (3 million)

Aged 20, the Bolivia international has attracted interest from Liverpool, Real Madrid and Ajax, says Jornal do Brasil

malmo

The most turbulent season in Liverpool's recent history is approaching a distinctly low–key conclusion, on the pitch at least, but the battle in the boardroom will continue to rage over the Summer, with George Gillett Jr determined to defy Tom Hicks, his estranged co–chairman, and force through the sale of his 50 per cent stake in the club to Dubai International Capital (DIC), the Arab investment group.

DIC remains supremely confident that it will take possession of Gillett's shares in the club in the coming weeks, but Hicks maintains that he will continue to exercise the power of veto he has – a claim that is disputed by Gillett and DIC – to prevent any such sale. Hicks's proposed veto is on the basis that he is still trying to find the funds or the backing that he would need to buy Liverpool outright. Hicks is under pressure to prove that he has the funds to take the club forward on his own, but sources in Texas have indicated that he is drawing up a business plan that would raise the £300 million that is needed for the construction of the club's proposed new 71,000–capacity stadium in Stanley Park, which is due to open in 2011.

The end of Liverpool's Champions League campaign, after their defeat by Chelsea in the second leg of their semi–final on Wednesday, was expected to accelerate the process, with DIC having kept it's Distance over the past four weeks, but now it must weigh up it's next move, whether to wait or whether to exert more pressure on the owners to reach a solution. For now Rafael Benítez, the Liverpool manager, appears to be working on the assumption that Hicks will be calling the shots at Anfield for the foreseeable future.

Benítez suggested after his team's defeat at Stamford Bridge that “just one signing could make a massive difference” to Liverpool, but once again a significant turnover of players is expected. He already has agreed a deal to sign Philipp Degen, the Switzerland right back, on a free transfer from Borussia Dortmund and has made moves to sign Fernando Amorebieta, the 23–year–old central defender, from Athletic Bilbao. Those would be relatively minor deals, but Benítez will pursue more ambitious targets, including Gareth Barry, the Aston Villa and England midfield player, and at least one winger and forward as well as the usual smattering of talented teenagers.

On the way out of the club are Harry Kewell, who's contract expires on June 30, and, if the right offer comes in, Scott Carson, John Arne Riise, Jermaine Pennant and Peter Crouch. Even Xabi Alonso, a player who has been one of the cornerstones of the Benítez regime, is likely to be sold if any of his previous suitors, such as Real Madrid, Atlético Madrid or FC Barcelona, meet his £15 million valuation, particularly if Barry arrives as his replacement in midfield.

Steven Gerrard, the captain, believes that reinforcements are needed if Liverpool are to challenge for the Barclays Premier League title next term, but, having been unhappy with the team's progress earlier in the season, he been reassured by their performances in recent months.

“There is no point looking back or thinking what might have been, ” the England player said. “We have to look forward because we have to go into next season looking to improve again. Hopefully, we will go into next season with a stronger squad because that could make a big difference. If we can bottle this disappointment, it could be a big motivation for us. ”

  LFC Rumours

Vicente is in negotiations on a contact and if he agrees, Rafa has £18 million to spend in order to prise him away from Valencia.

Alonso wants to stay so a move for G. Barry is off the cards. Valencia wants to go to the (man u), Rafinha and Degen done deals and LFC are still negotiating with Atl. Madrid over Maxi Rodriquez.

Rafa is interested in Goran Pandev of Lazio and Jan Klass Huntalaar of Ajax if Crouch leaves, Pandev is cheaper so Rafa will probably go for him if Dubai does not buy into LFC before August.

Hard Luck against Chelsea boys, Kalou was offside when setting up Drogba for the first goal and Hyypia was brought down for what schould have been a penalty, oh well.

P. S. If Dubai take over they will not see LFC as and investment, but the Sheik wants to make LFC the most popular and successful team in the world.

Keegan to sign Aiden McGeady, Sakho, Dunne, Barnes and Gomis 100 percent

Plus bids for Diego, Montolivo or Arshavin.

Fullbacks will be Bridge or Shorey.

Not a rumour more fact now it is known that Rafa is not pursuing Boswinga of Porto it is because a deal has been struck to bring Sergio Ramos to Liverpool FC on Loan initially becoming Permanent in January this will become common knowledge in June. One or two Liverpool Players going in opposite direction before you get excited it is not Torres, Gerard or Alonso

The reason it's been stated Erikson is to lead Manchester City on their post season tour despite being released is Guus Hiddink is not available until after the European Championships. However expect to see him take charge of City afterwards.

Swansea will sign Voronin for £1 million pound as Jason Scotland is Derby bound

they will also belooking to to sign Anderson on loan again form Liverpool

Just a quick one. to the joker who said that Everton will try to sign Clichy for £4 million.

Sleep typing. the first case ever noted. There cannot be any reason other than dreaming that load of tosh up.

Left back of the year moving for £4 million to a UEFA cup team.

However, on a serious note from the Emirates, Flamini looks almost certainly to be off. A great shame as he has been one of our players of the year now he is playing in his preffered role.

Henry will not be coming back at the moment. Maybe in his later years as a trainer/ambassador etc.

Michael Johnson looks a real alternative and fits the Wenger mould, as does Micah Richards. A move involving Bendtner going the other way might work as Vela is coming back from loan.

Hopefully Eboue will be involved in a straight swop deal with a set of training cones, which without doubt will have a better first touch.

Anyway, no one knows for sure except Wenger, and now that Edelman has left, look for the takeover to gain momentum again, as he said before that he did not approve of a take over, and Dein has been involved in a lot of meetings recently with Red and White Holdings.

Here's to next season and good luck to both Chelsea and Man United in the final. Proof that we really do have the best league in the world at the moment.

Oh and by the way. Clichy to Everton for £4 million. ha.

Liverpool will be the busiest side this Summer introducing Many top name signings from top sides and youngsters from lower league sides to strengthen squad for a top 2 push.

BIG the Hammers transfers this year, as the board will giv Curbs one more season to establish the Hammers as serious Europe contenders. They will offer Curbs quite a lot of money to spend, but will also suggest that he clears out some of the useless players:

Ins: Zarate: the £18 million rated forward is considered to be a future world class forward in the eyes of Curbs and would love to bring him to the boyeln ground.

Toni: the connection with our new director, Nani, is the only reason the intalian will join.

Shorey: Curbs have been trying to sign him since January 07 and will finally succeed with a £6 million pound offer. If Shorey decides not to sign a contract, however, then look for Wayne Bridge to be in the claret and blue next season.

Goalkeeper: While many people at the Hammers are hopeful of Robert Green staying, the lure of European football from Tottenham or Arsenal may be too tempting for him. In this unlikely case, then look for either Cudicini, Carson or possibly Valdes.

all of these are 99 percent true.

Dennis Wise is close to signing Aiden McGeady for the Magpiess. Also double swoop for Arshaviin and Pogrebnyak on the cards.

Just a few interesting rumours I have heard around town from the usual sources (one of whom is normally spot on every time) regarding LFC transfers this Summer

Due to the radical changes set to be made at both Valencia and FC Barcelona this Summer a number of big stars are being linked with moves to Liverpool so here goes

David Villa has said that he does not want to go to Tottenham but a top four team with Liverpool being his first choice

David Silva is also being lined up for a move to the reds but Rafa has a number of other targets for this position – he is just waiting to see how much others will cost and what clubs are prepared to sell for (the others being Bently, Quaresma, Valencia, Bojan and Ariera)

Perhaps the most suprising rumour is that FC Barcelona are actualy testing the water with Liverpool to offload Thierry Henry. He is a dead cert to move back to the Premiership in the Summer however he still feels he is good enough to play for a top side, Arsenal will not take him back and it is beleived Liverpool are his prefered choice – it all depends on whether Rafa will be willing to spend money on a player of his age.

Finally the only other rumour I have got wind of is who will be leaving this Summer – Riise will not be offered a new deal, Finnan will be allowed to move on and Voronin will be sold if a buyer can be found. Crouch has been assured he has a future at the club but the decision will rest with him.

I'm a grounds man at Melwood and have it from the horses mouth that Stevie G will LEAVE are beloved Reds for pastures new (Spain)

  old firm news
