Birmingham will retain players: Mehdi Nafti, Damien Johnson, Sebastien Larsson, Martin Taylor, Artur Krysiask, Garry O'Connor, Olivier Kapo(possibly), Maik Taylor, Colin Doyle, Stephen Kelly, Krystian Pearce, Jordon Mutch and Sone Aluko inherited from Steve Bruce's Birmingham side.
There has already been a large amount of players who have left following Alex McLiesh's rebuiling plans. Further could follow.

Franck Quedrue he failed to turn up to training along with Kapo and it is well known that David Sullivan thinks that he is 'a pile of rubbish' and Quedrue had a very public falling out with Sullivan. Quedrue has not been stabalised at the club for very long joining a year ago. The manager who brought him to the club has left as well. It realy depends on how Franck reacts to getting fined same as well with Kapo.

PAUL Scharner is likely to be unveiled as a new Birmingham player part of a reason why De Ridder left Blues for nothing. A fee has been agreed Birmingham are finalising the contract. The fee is in the region of £3.5 million.

Moyes has not signed a new deal but it has been agreed in principe. It includes a minimum transfer kitty depending on the league position and also a get out Clause (thought to be £8 million compensation) if Man United, Celtic or Scotland come in for him. No signings have been made for one reason. Big bill k is at the moment considoring a take–over bid of roughly £105 million. He was looking for bout £120 million. But apparently the Russian is offering a £40+ million Summer war chest so it looks as BK will accpept.

LFC transfer strategy:
Simple really, Rafa is trying to build a squad to win the Premier League this year. Everyone knows he has to raise funds through sales and those players more suited to European football or who are simply not good enough will go. Alonso is a great example of the former, Pennant of the latter. More players will go than come in.
We will pay over the odds for the likes of Barry and/or Keane but that is the market and they are proven to be effective Premiership players. They aslo have the work ethic Rafa demands, as does Dossena, the new left back. A winger will be sought to add some attacking 'bite', maybe Silva or Sergio Garcia. Silva has long been admired at the club but his Euro performances may push his price too high. Garcia is now more likely, flair + excellent work rate. Riera is on the radar but we will not pay the current asking price. Downing remains an option for same reason as Barry and Keane. he does perform in the EPL.

Newcastle to sign Nugent from Portsmouth in a deal worth of about £5 million. According to my source, Owen will be going to Everton for a similar price. No other players are as yet coming into Newcastle although I know that Keegan has another £7 million left to spend. NUfc.

This is directed at the clown who reckons Wenger is going to spend 96 million this Summer.
Firstly, I would be surprised if ARSENAL had spent that much since Wenger started in '96.
Signings are: NASRI (10–12 MILLION), AMAURY (FREE), perhaps Huntelaar/Santa Cruz but only if Adebayor leaves. The only other signing I can see happening is perhap someone like frings/senna to take Flaminis role.
Nasri is an ideal replacement for Hleb, him and Rosicky will rotate positions.
Eboue are not going no where, despite his inaptitude to deal with pretty much anything, Wenger has seen that with him and Sagna on the right, we have a very very strong right wing. Eboue will do his defensive duties aswell and cover Sagna when he ventures forward.
Walcott will be coming through a lot more next season, being in the first choice three forwards.
we won;'t be buying a defender as we have decent enough ones, Wenger sees no reason to change. Song is coming through to be the next Toure, looks like he could develop well in defense.
Will be interesting to see what ramsey has got up his sleeve.

What did I say yesterday. Adebayor will not be sold bar one exception. Wenger has always rated Eto'o as the best forward in the world for four years. If FC Barcelona want Adebayor, then it is not CASH that Arsenal want. Arsenal want Eto'o. Remember here from me.

There will not be the volume of transfer activity that Arsenal fans expect this Summer.
Veloso is in talks currently with the club and if he is willing to join he will be bought.
Villa is the only other possibility but there are a lot of complications, Valencia are doing everything to convince him to stay and Arsene Wenger will only do the deal if Hleb is leaving for Barcelona.
Apart from what is already done Nasri etc. that is the end of Arsenal spending this Summer.
Rumours in Glasgow and on the web that Lee Naylor is to sign for Aston Villa, no fee (if any) has been muted, as a Celtic fan and as much as I love to see the Villa do well, fingers crossed this one goes through.
If cash is a stumbling block we at Celtic will pay the train fare.
According to my sources at Anfield, Rafa Benitez is to offer a lifeline to former Arsenal misfit Jose Antonio Reyes. After a disastrous 2007/08 campaign with Atlético Madrid it is thought Los RojiBlancos will listen to offers in the region of €10 million for the versatile forward.
The player Rafa is talking about who speaks English and has played in England before is not Luis Garcia and that is a 100 percent fact.

It is true, Arsenal DOES have ALOT of money, but for some reason Wenger is scared to spend it because he feels that one bad signing could ruin his reputation. In the extramly unlikely event that Adebayor is sold, Wenger will not buy anyone else because he has Vela comming back next season. The only person that will be bought is the extreamly overrated Nasri. For those of you who do not know, Wenger passed up on Croatian maestro Luka Modric because "20 million is too much for a croatian". but Wenger will have no problem spending the same money on a less talented, less physical sammir Nasri. If you watched the Euros this past month Luka Modric proved to be one of the most promising and exciting players in Europe whereas when France was playing, I did not even notice Nasri was on the field until it showed a close up of him. Silva will not be comming because he is far too expensive for Wengers taste (unless he was French), and frings will not be needed as Wenger already has his center–mid man in Nasri.
Joe Mattock has signed for Everton from Leicester City, great signing for the Toffees, wish He would stayed at the Walkers tho. Good Luck Joe.

Adebayor will not be leaving Arsenal. A £24 million pound offer from FC Barcelona has just been rejected and AC Milan will be rejected just the same. Ade will be given his requested pay rise to 120,000 a week and that will be that. This means no forwards will be signed. Aaron Ramsey has already been signed and will shortly be followed by Samir Nasri for 15 mil. Another player on the verge of signing is Werder Bremens Amaur Bischoff who is a defensive midfield player and will replace Mathieu Flamini. These three will be the only major signings for Arsenal this Summer. The only players to leave the Emirates this Summer are Lehmann to Stuttgart, Flamini to AC Milan and Hleb to one of Inter, AC Milan, FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich. As for all these Chelsea fans, would you please stop living in a dream cloud? Kaka, Deco, Ronaldinho, Robinho, Eto'o and David Villa all in? Get real. Deco will be signed for sure as a replacement for Frank Lampard who will leave for Inter, ONE of Robinho and Ronaldinho will be signed and a new forward will be signed, Villa is not a possibility as he has just snubbed a move to all Premiership clubs and Eto'o is looking more Inter bound. Huntelaar is a possibility and Kaka is completely uninterested. Liverpool will sign Gareth Barry for £17 million and Man UNITED will sign one of Dimitar Berbatov, Luis Fabiano and Huntelaar.

With Barcelona looking to revamp their side after a woeful season, they will turn to the Premier League to buy a top class forward to replace Eto'o. or at least someone who used to be top class. Expect a bid for Shevchenko by the end of the Summer.
