Kelvin Etuhu to return to Rochdale on loan for the rest of the season. Was on loan for a month last season before he picked up a cruciate injury and had to be sent back to Manchester City. He is still in good contact with the Rochdale players and believes he has unfinished business to do at the club. He's on a relatively low wage and Rochdale are willing to pay them.

The Hammers will sign Darren Bent, only if the price is right. If Tottenham ask more than £10 million then the Hammers will look elswhere. Anton Ferdinand will be offered in part exchange for Darren Bent/Obafemi Martins. The rumours about Ashton do have some truth in them. The Hammers board have said that he has until the Summer to prove his fitness or he will be shipped out. This will be the Hammers' only transfer business in January, barring a few fringe player ins/outs. All major changes in personel will be made in the Summer.

Fact – Everton boss, Moyes, to sign Bentley from Blackburn in a deal involving cash + out–of–favour forward, McFadden, going the other way. Blackburn forward, McCarthy, is almost certainly on his way out of the Lancashire club; hence their need for another forward.

  Blackburn rover's target's over the next 2 window's are

in =

valeri domovchiyski (forward) very quick

yoon bit–garam (midfielder) extremley talented

lance Davids (midfielder)

mark milligan (defender) versatile

celso borges (midfielder) creative and quick

kendall waston (defender)

dino djiba (winger)

Derek boateng (midfielder) defensive minded

Steve Sidwell (midfielder) loan then Parmanent in Summer

emmanuel Eboue (fullback) Summer target

out =

Robbie savage (midfielder)

Jason Roberts (forward)

most of the transfers will only go through if the savage and Roberts sales bring in about £5 million. other then Sidwell and Eboue the players mentioned are all young and rarely unknown but trust sparky to snap up 2 or 3 diamonds on the cheap with or without the sales.

  Celtic Rumours

There are a number of things happening behind the scenes at Celtic Park just now, however there is going to be nothing announced until next week as a Mark of respect following the untimely death of Motherwell captain Phil O'Donnell. Expect a flurry of announcements next week with no fewer than SIX new signings and THREE outgoings.

in:

Hinkel (Sevilla, £2.1 million)

McFadden (Everton, £3.2 million)

Maloney (Aston Villa, £1 million)

Coehlo (Corinthians, £1.3 million)

Larsson (Helsingborgs, £Undisclosed(Free – contract expired))

Sidwell (Chelsea, £LOAN)

out:

Pressley (Gretna, £Free)

Zurawski (Anderlecht, £500K)

Killen (Hibernian, £150K)

The six signings are seen as important as Celtic need players that will be able to walk into the first team, with almost all areas of the pitch strengthened. Larsson and Hinkel are already done deals as of second of Jan, with Coehlo, Sidwell, Maloney and McFadden all tied up before Saturday. The outgoings are also done deals already as of second Jan.

Expect a number of squad players departing in the Summer including those displaced from the first team by players coming in now. There will be a couple of big signings guaranteed in the Summer, with as many as 5 big name players depending on how far Celtic go in this year's Champions League and whether they win the league this year.

Sam Allardyce is after Jonny Wilkinson. As he feels Newcastle need someone who can help get the ball higher and further up the pitch

Reading FC could sign central defender Brede Hangeland from FC Copenhagen for £3 million to replace Ibrahima Sonko.

Celtic could offer Burnley's highly rated Irish Striker Kyle Lafferty the chance of playing Champions League Football with either a £4 million offer, or £2.5 million + out of favour forward Derek Riordan.

My mate's mate said that Leicester will sign David Norris on loan and also Leroy Lita on loan as Steve Coppell wants him to be playing first–team football. Robbie Savage's agent has been in talks with Leicester aswell as 2 Premier League club and another Championship club. It is believed Savage would like to come back to Leicester as he loved the fans and still has family in Leicester. Leicester will also sign Marton Fulop and 2 trialists.

Mr. T

  Berbatov and arango to Liverpool

I have heard from a very reliable source that Watford want to sign A Left–Back, Centre–mid, Left–Mid and possibly a Centre–back. On his list of players that he is lloking at he has Paul Robinson of WBA, Matt Hill of Preston, Daniel Fox of Wallsall, Robbie Savage of Blackburn, Nigel Quashie of the Hammers, Lee Frecklington of Lincoln, Wes Hoolahan of Blackpool, Jason Puncheon of Barnet, Claude Davies of Derby, Sam Huthinson of Chelsea and Sam Sodje of Reading.

100 percent true

Leicester City are eyeing up a move for Northamptons Brad Johnston and looking to get Marton Fulop for a fee of around £2 million. Leicester have also agreed terms with Liverpool for the young attacking midfielder Kristian Nemeth.

  F. A. O. Graham

FYI Kenny Miller cannot come to Rangers in January. As per UEFA rulings a player cannot play for 3 teams in one season. As he has already played for Celtic and Derby, you can sign him all you like, as he cannot kick a ball in a Rangers shirt until the end of the season.

Cheers

Bobbo

I heard Celtic are signing hinkel and Murphy for the full back positions and vogel as a defensive mid for physical games as Donati cnt handle it. also Mcfadden and Leroy Lita or Kevin doyle or Dave Nugent to name a few

Chelsea to be shock contenders for Kris boyd if Berbatov deals falls through

Stoke to sign Jason Roberts and Nigel Quashie and even when the ball hits the goal it's not Shearer or Cole it's Zamora yes Bobby Zamora from the Hammers.

ARSENAL will SIGN only ONE PLAYER IN THIS TRANSFER WINDOW AND THAT PERSON will BE Renato Soares de Oliveira Augusto OR BETTER KNOWN AS RENATO AUGUSTO FROM FLAMENGO FOR £10 million

  Afc Bulletin ( ( ( ( ( (

With Eboue, Toure and Song going to the ANC it's been heard Arsene Wenger might not sell off Matthew Connolly 2 Queens Park Rangers as he will not be signing any new players. Senderos might leave maybe 4 Rangers, Arsene Wenger 2 move 4 a gk might be English and not Barnsleys Muller.

  – Sheff United Rumours–

Gary Cahill Phil Bardsley Jason Koumas Lee Cattermole Wayne Routledge and possibly Wes Hoolahan all look good to arrive at Bramall Lane this week in permanent deals worth up to 2 Million.

Also expect a few players to go the other way. Chris Morgan the Quinn brothers Mamadou Seck Geoff Horsfield Chris Lucketti Derek Geary and finally Le Tie will all leave in the January window to other clubs on a permanent basis.

If the deal cannot be done for Gary Cahill then Robson will go back to Manchester and seek help from Sir Alex in the hope a loan signing of Ryan Shawcross or in the spot light Johnny Evans until the end of season.

Arsenal – no major ins, Nikolai Dimitrov is the left winger who had a trial with Arsenal, expect to see him come in for 700 k gbp. Gourcouff has been told by AC Milan, he is free to leave, so if Gilberto is sold, expect to see him come in.

While Wenger admires Richards, Benzema, Modric, etc, he is not about to launch huge bids for anyone, at this stage of the season, he feels it would unsettle the squad to bring in a big name, big money signing.

Agreements may be made now, for the end of the season, but no big names to come in January.

Happy New Year all

I am a Stoke City fan and at the match against Hull yesterday Paul jewell was spotted doing a bit of scouting. It is thought adam pearson sent him there after he was chairman for 6 succesful years. He was thought to be looking at bo myhill the Hull gk and Dean windass. He may have been impressed by stokes sidibe

From the man who gave you Nery Castillo to MCFC in November, I have more City news:

In;

Hedwiges Maduro £4 million

Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock wants to improve his squad to boost his promotion push by targeting the folllowing:

Leroy Lita READING Could be a cash + Watson deal

Simon Whaley PRESTON

Chris Morgan SHEFFIELD UNITED

Danny Webber SHEFFIELD UNITED

Wayne Routledge SPURS Loan

Neil Danns BIRMINGHAM

It is very unlikely that Warnock will sign every single one of these.

Darren Byfield and Marvin Elliott to Leicester City from Bristol City for a combined fee of 600 k. Fact.

Kevin doyle is ready to join either Anelka or Berbatov at Stamford bridge in £5 million deal from Reading. Chelsea also lining up David Villa for £25 million in the Summer

Liverpool FC 2008 In: right back: Nelson (Benfica) or Miguel (Valencia), right wing: D. Alves (Sevilla) or Maxi Rodriguez (Athletic Madrid) or J. Navas (Sevilla), left back/left wing: N'Zogbia (Newcastle), centre back: Garay (Racing), forward: K. Jones (Sunderland) or Zigic (Valencia), forward: D. Villa (Valencia). 2008 Out: Carson, Riise, Finnan, Sissoko, Voronin, Kuyt, Crouch. REDEDD1892

I have been told by a good pal that has contacts in the the Hammers directors box that Curbishley is going to get the sack in the new year the man to replace him bilic.

Udinese set to make a bid in the region of £4 million pounds to capture Emre on a three year contract. terms of the deal will be given at a later date. club will give him a 'free role' in midfield to express his talent. big Sam has not been able to get the best out of the highly rated but tempremental 'play maker'. latest the board will turn the deal down. as other parties showing interest (galatasary, Monaco and Fulham + two un–named German clubs) and they rate him atlest the same as Sissoko if not more (12 million euros– 8 and a half million pounds)

This is amazing Shiblu who is an agent handling the Berbatov affairs has leaked that Tottenham are listening to offers from Liverpool and Chelsea only as Ramos Likens Crouchie. Man United, have all but done but for some loans. The Angolan forward is the only major transfer. Liverpool will lok at bolstering their defense. There is a lot of noise being generated in Valencia for swaps including Kuyt/Riise for? Chelsea will definitely secure Anelka in the next week. Liverpool for the title. Signing out Khana Boga.
