Norwich city have come in at the 11th hour and hijacked the Alex pritchard deal. Brighton set to miss out, after an illegal approach.

How is that an illegal approach? , according to press reports Norwich also agreed a fee with Tottenham, so are able to talk to Prichard and his representatives, so exactly how does this become an illegal approach?

NorwI checked have not agreed a transfer fee so this is an illegal approach as they did not have permission to speak to him.

Happyguy13 you are mistaken, the media reported that Norwich approached Tottenham and agreed to match the fee Brighton were prepared to pay, clearly Tottenham then told Pritchard and his representatives and left the decision up to him, clearly Norwich offered better terms to the player so he opted to join them. If an illegal approach was made as you suggest then Norwich will be held accountable by the FA, instead I suspect it's just a question of sour grapes on behalf of the Brighton supporters and their local newspaper.

Player contacted directly by Norwich when he was in a traffic jam on M25. No fee agreed with Tottenham hence illegal approach. Media incorrect. Tottenham unlikely to complain as Norwich paid £2million more.
