To the geezer who claims money isn't an issue with Fabregas, that may be true but silverware is a big issue for him and the fact Arsenal keep failing to fill the trophy cabinet is a good enough reason for him to leave for Barca in the summer.
The fact Wenger is stubbornly not buying any world class players dosent help either, that drove Henry, Flamini, Hleb etc away from the Emirates, Fabregas & Arshavin will be next.
Fabregas dosent owe Wenger anything, he has given Arsenal six years of his life and he deserves to be in a team which is going places, you also said Fabregas will be at Arsenal for a few years yet? i tend to disagree, i will be very very surprised if he is still there in september and so would 90% of the other gooners.

Summer outs = Fabregas, Campbell, Senderos, Merida
Summer ins = Two centre backs & Chamack

Ramsey will take Cesc's position and we will struggle to finish 4th next season!

So the Coyle evolution proceeds..

We got some great signings up here at the Reebok – all gossip bought to yow by me

the only one I got wrong was the Chris Cohen from Notts Forest. Apparently he felt out with his brother Tamir at the last moment and backed out. Never–mind eh?

Well, my boyriend – as you should all know by now – is the groundsman at the Reebok and he tells me that there is other Notts Forest news.. JLloyd Samuel is going to Nottingham to help them get promoted as the Nicky Tory fella went down to London to play for Harrods.

Tara and love you till the next window

Here's the truth about Arsenal.

Their main offensive targets are Edin Dzeko and Edin Hazard. They aren't likely to get both, maybe not either, so they have secondary targets like Chamakh, who they like for his price.

In midfield they are largely set. If a good DM came along at a good price they'd take him, and if Fabregas and Merida both really left they'd try to replace them. But they won't be actively seeking help in the midfield.

Defensively they have to bring in a good starting quality center back and perhaps another bench quality player with experience for cover. They are extremely lucky that Vermaelen and Gallas have been healthy, but the latter isn't getting younger and they don't have good depth there. Stefan Savic was looking likely to come but now apparently has too high a price tag.

Almunia is likely to get axed. Don't be surprised to see Arsenal go for quality. They like Neuer.

A realistic set of summer signings for Arsenal would be

Hazard
Savic
Another central defender
Neuer

"Because of Arsenals embarassing defeat to United, Wenger's now being forced by the board to buy big in the summer because hes turnng Arsenal into a sinking ship"

..
..
..

Erm.. NO!

Dont be a silly little boy.

It was definitely a battering, but you have to agree with the preofessor, the first 2 goals were down to individual errors that could have been avoided. United were good, but they werent that good. We certainly helped them! Arsenal missing Robin van Persie is like United missing Rooney.. and United without Rooney is a joke!

There were obvious tactical errors, such as the inclusion on Denilson and having Arshavin in the middle when Bendtner was available. But please, put a stop to these silly rumours, as if you know what the board are thinking!. Arsenal is Wenger!

Anyone with a long term interest in Arsenal (i.e. anyone and everyone that is invested in Arsenal in some way) will hve no problem with how Wenger is going about his business.

Wenger will not buy just to cover injuries. We have 4 strikers, one is a seasoned professional and influential talisman. One has undoubted talent and is an unbelievably clinical finisher, but is struggling with post injury form. The other two are young and require games to improve. We know how Wenger works, he won't jeopardise the development of his younger players.

Summer "rumours":

NO STRIKERS! RVP, Dudu, Bendtner and Vela will do fine.

NO WINGERS! Rosicky, Nasri, Arshavin and Theo (repeat those names back to yourself.. who else has 4 wingers of that quality!?!)

NO MIDFIELDERS! Song, Diaby and Cesc are an amazing trio. While I have my doubts about Denilson, hes good for cover, as is the up and coming Wilshere and Ramsey, who will of course do nothing but improve from game to game. Cover for Song will be Eastmond.

NO FULL–BACKS! Clichy, Gibbs then Traoré on the left. Sanga, Eboué then Hoyte on the right. Is the depth of the squad finally hitting home with some of you?

Centre backs: This is another story. Chris Smalling would have been a great buy. Gallas and Vermaelen are a great pair, and will be together for another season at least. Djourou had always looked impressive, hes great cover and he will be back after Sol leaves at the end of the season. Thats 3 top cente backs, but another one is needed. Who? I don't know, and neither do you!

NO GOALKEEPER! Mannone, Fabianksi and Schezny have shown enough promise to ease Wengers difficult deicision of who to put between the sticks. If Wenger listens to the fans (myself included) then Almunia hasnt got long left, but any of the three behind Almunia will do just fine, my personal favourite is Mannone.

Summer signings summary: ONE SINGLE CENTRE BACK FOR COVER AND CUP DUTY ONLY!

If Wenger does purchase any extras, its because others are moving elsewhere. This is called common sense people!

Finito!

Man Utd Rumours

Vidic will not be leaving in the summer. FACT
After a few good performances Nani will stay. Unfortunatly SAF is too stubborn to sell that idiot Berbatov. Park will also stay, not because he's a good player but because if the popularity from Asia the club get with Park in the team.

Targets Include:

GK: Adler, Neuer, Lloris ( Akinfeev is too expensive)

Def: Young players only. Possibly Jack Rodwell

Mid: Expect someone to come in if Scholes and Giggs retire. Otherwise there will be no change. Yoann Gourcuff and David Silva are N1 targets.

Strikers: I expect 1 striker to come in. Fabiano, Dzeko or Lisandro Lopez.

LFC to continue buying bad players for too much money..

Don't know too much about Arsenal but I expect Wenger will stick with his principals and not buy overprised players. Expect a few youngsters. Hazard defo joining..

Young Montenegrin defender Stefan Savic has agreed a £100,000 move to Arsenal he is 6ft2in and will join in the summer as he is returning to current clubBSK Borca in the Serbian Superliga until may

02 Feb 2010 10:22:04
Hargreaves to sign on loan for PNE for the rest of the season once the loan market opens next week.

02 Feb 2010 10:29:55
"01 Feb 2010 22:04:26
I know some people who know Arsene well. The blockbuster move this summer will be Fabregas to Valencia in exchange for Villa and 4.5 million Euros. He realises this is the best way for Fabregas to have his dream return to Spain, obtain Villa, and also tell RM and Barca to sod off."

This will definitely not happen. Valencia need money to pay off debts, not to acquire new players on high wages. Villa will be going to Man Utd as SAF sees him as the ideal partner for Rooney. Expect a bid in the region of £40m for him to be made in the summer

How can you lie on a rumour page. nothing that's written on here is true u idiots. that's why its called a RUMOUR!

02 Feb 2010 11:44:57
For the guy claiming he's in the know about a deal taking Villa to Arsenal with Fabregas in return. What a crock of sht! Talk sense man! Valencia are MASSIVELY in debt. David Villa is 28 years old and realistically is worth around £20–25m (Torres was sold for £22m and is far younger!). Two reasons this deal WON'T come off. The first being that Wenger's only BIG money deal for a striker came way, way back when he signed Sylvain Wiltord. Since then he has chosen to buy potential talent and develop it. Strikers are the costliest players on the market and given the current economy, pose a real gamble on a club's capital investment. Villa would give no possibility of return capital. At his age, he poses a huge gamble should the English game not suit his style of play. It's also a well known fact that the players Wenger is showing interest in are Edin Dzeko, Loric Remy and Andre Pierre Gignac. One is likely to arrive in the summer – with Bendtner on his way out if he fails to impress. The second reason is quite obvious. Valencia owe millions. If they make the champions league this season (they narrowly avoided relegation last term), they can probably afford to pay Villa's wages for another season or two. Should he have a decent World cup however, he will be in demand. Only Real Madrid, Barca, City or Chelsea however are likely to have the money to actually buy him and cover his wages. Staying in Spain will be a more enticing prospect as his taxes will be far lower and he's not risking losing form by adapting to a new league and style of play. Any deal to bring Fabregas to Mestalla Stadium would mean a payment of around £30–£40m on top of any deal for Villa. Valencia would have to sell their entire first team to raise that kind of money! Also, Fabregas has never claimed it is his 'dream' to play in Spain! He joined AFC at 16 is settled in London, more comfortable with the English style of play and captain of a side with huge potential. Wenger has made the player who he is today and he will remain loyal until the time comes for him to move on. This will be years away yet, but when it does happen it will likely be to Barca. The club he supported as a boy (but left for Arsenal!). Money is NOT a key issue for Cesc (who is paid quite nicely thank you), his football is far more important. This would rule out a deal to take him to another English club, he has the same values as Henry (to his credit!).
As for the dude saying Man Utd will be very very busy come summer and that Ferguson 'cannot make up his mind which goalkeeper to choose'. It doesn't work like that pal! You don't just 'choose' one! You put offers in to several players agents and a deal is agreed depending on the personal terms accepted. He may prefer one player over another, but that doesn't mean he's going to get him! Utd were quiet(ish) in this window, and they will remain so in the summer. The main focus will be on keeping Wayne Rooney, this deal will commit huge resources which clearly cannot sustain dealings into the transfer market either. As their performance on Sunday shows, Utd are not in need of major reconstruction. A goalkeeper will be priority to replace Edwin Van der Sar, but unless Fergie can raise the funds from selling Berbatov, he's unlikely to be able to spend £20m on the likes of Akinfeev. Moscow may want that kind of money, but realistically they will let him go for far far less. Remember the Arshavin deal? Nowhere near the £20m they were demanding! Utd's spiralling debts will see a few new faces (mainly young players who can develop) to cover positions for Scholes and Giggs, but not the big marquee signings of previous years.
One final pointer – someone claimed Mancini was a stand in until Mourinho turned up in the summer. The claim was that Mancini would not be given a transfer kitty and was only allowed to make loan signings. OK – explain Adam Johnson then! Mancini was ousted at Inter to bring in Mourinho, do you think he would put himself in that position again – or as has been claimed become Mourinho's right hand man! There's no love lost between these two. It will NEVER happen! Mourinho has also publicly stated that he will see out his contract at Inter (2012). He is under little pressure in Italy. Inter are streets ahead of the competition, have relative financial security enabling them far greater spending power than most Serie A clubs. As no Italian club has come close to winning the European Cup of late, anything Inter can get from the competition is merely a bonus. So long as Mourinho keeps winning titles, he is sitting pretty at that San Siro!
Oh by the way, what happened to all these 'in the know' scousers who said Benitez was DEFINITELY out in Jan? Still there and quite happy to take your money until he trots off to Juve in the Summer, probably taking Lucas and Aquilani with him. Torres almost certain to join Barca (presidential elections coming up!) as Real will take Ribery as their Marquee signing.

02 Feb 2010 11:48:47
Manchester United will sign four major players in the summer, with four major players going out. All the talk surrounding Vidic and Ferdinand is rubbish. Fergie has persuaded both of them to stay on and play another season, and then Vidic will move abroad with Rio taking an early retirement. The end of next season will also be the end for VDS, Scholes and Giggs.

Anyway, back to this season. Neville will retire as SAF will not renew his contract, although he may move to everton. Anderson has lost his battle in the centre of the park and is now behind carrick, fletcher, scholes and gibson in that position. He will leave, most probably to go to Lyon or PSG (approx £12 mil.) SAF is really liking the formation he used against Arsenal and this means the end for Berbatov and Owen. Berbatov will go to Juventus for approx £17 mil and Owen to Aston Villa.

Ferguson is in hot persuit of Jack Rodwell and sees him as a perfect long term defensive partner for Chris Smalling but also as an option in midfield if Evans continues to develop. SAF has realised that Ben Foster will not make the grade, he may even be sold, and he will bid for Hugo Lloris who already looks very assured as France's number one GK. He will job share with VDS for his first season.

Ideally Ferguson would like to freshen up his attacking options with the Valencia pair of Villa and Silva. However this may not be posible as it would cost mega money. So SAF will go all out for David Silva (25–30 mil) and also make a cheeky bid for Karim Benzema at Real. If this fails then Fergie may take a look at any of the following: Agbonlahor, Defoe, Henry or Luis Fabiano.

Man Utd starting XI 2010/11:

GK: VDS / Lloris

RB: Rafael
CB: Vidic
CB: Ferdinand
LB: Evra

CM: Fletcher
CM: Carrick
CM: Hargreaves

LAM: Giggs/Rooney
RAM: Silva

CF: Rooney/Benzema

Man Utd starting XI 2011/12:

GK: Lloris

RB: Rafael
CB: Smalling
CB: Rodwell/Evans
LB: Evra

CM: Fletcher
CM: Carrick
CM: Hargreaves/Rodwell

LAM: Obertan/Rooney
RAM: Silva

CF: Rooney/Benzema

After the DISGRACE that was super Sunday, wenger will be forced into adding to the team of face losing cesc and rvp in the summer.

players that most of the tabloids claim he's looking at are as follows:

Keepers: Neurer/Akinfeev/Loris/Stekelenberg

Defenders: Subotic/Caceres/Chiellini/Zapata

Midfielders: Turan/Sahin/Hazard/Cabaye/Silva/Mata/Inler/Cana/Menez.

Forwards: Higuain/Dzeko/Villa/Vucinic

I'd expect 1 keeper , 2 defenders, 3 midfielders , and 1 forward.

but knowing wenger he'll buy no one, and they'll finish 5th next year, there is a rumor starting to circulate that he'll be pushed upstairs and capello will be brought in, but i think that's just wishful thinking from the emirates faithful.

MANCHESTER UNITED RUMOURS

Fergie has his sights set on Jack Rodwell, though strangely to play at centre back, which is news to me as i always thought he was a midfielder? He sees Jack and Smalling playing together for England & United for many many years.

He also cannot make his mind up whether or not to bid for Akinfeev, Lloris or Neuer, Neuer is the cheaper option, but he rates Akinfeev very highly. But the Russian would cost well over 20million apparently. There is one keeper that he would take in a heartbeat but he is so loyal to his club and has never become available, and that is Buffon, hes 32 but still has a good six years left in him, bare in mind hes nearly two years younger than Shay Given and eight years younger than VDS. Not much has happened this January but the summer will be very very busy, you mark my words.

Rangers won't sign anyone before midnight or at midnight.

01 Feb 2010 23:28:56
I have just returned from work at gamegrid in glasgow airport. There was two very official looking men in Rangers ties one of which my friend tells me is Andy Dickson (his dad plays golf with him) they met with someone coming off the amsterdam flight (9:45pm) but I didn't get a look at the boy or who he was with. I know its not much but its all I have.

Sorry guys this one really is lies, I am the area manager for the above company which infact has closed down at Glasgow so if you where working you must be the only Glaswegian that works for nothing lol

01 Feb 2010 23:29:41

Man Utd: No Silva, Villa, Neur, Akinfeev, Hazard – no anybody!!!
Liverpool: No Aguero, Henry, Van Nistelrooy, Huntelaar, Silva, Villa, Barry or any of the so called nailed on, in the know, straight from the horses mouth etc you've been lying about for months now!
Man City: Adam Johnson! Woop–de–doo Basil!!!
Spurs sign their usual Jan crap – no doubt to be offloaded by next Jan!
Most boring transfer window EVER! Took the day off expecting to see a bit of excitement on Sky Sports – shouldn't have bothered! Moses – was definitely on his way to Newcastle, Forest, Liverpool, Arsenal. No mention of him going to Wigan on any of these posts! Laughable the amount of guff that's been posted on here of late. Your lies have come back to slap you in the face now though eh?
Expect a pretty dull turn out in the summer too – there may be a World Cup on, but as today has clearly shown, unless your club is owned by a bunch of idiot arabs, you're in for a period of tightening belts! Nobody can afford to be chucking money at players and agents in this current economy. The banks just aren't playing ball with the likes of Utd and Liverpool. It'll be sell to buy. Even Chelsea are getting frugal FFS!!!

01 Feb 2010 22:57:21
The person who is comming off that flight from amsterdam is az alkmaar winger simon poulsen

01 Feb 2010 23:06:47
Just got a text from a friend inside media room at celtic park, there are 3 shirts on display. Number 7 Keane another number 14 with petrov on it.
