To the guy who posted this "David Villa is currently in a hotel in the NW of England or Manchester to be more to the point. He has been involved in 2 days of talks and now it seems that all involved partied have come to an agreement. He will be wearing red by the the start of the season! Great work Rafa." Villa could be in the North west because they have a friendly against Man Utd on the 5th of August. Also I don't understand your logic if hes in Manchester wouldn't he be negotiating with one of the Manchester teams instead of Liverpool. And can you gove me your sources – how do you know that hes been in talks over the last couple of days?
First of all I'd like to send my condolences to Sir Bobby Robson's family. Football has lost one of its true gentlemen. now onto rumours.

Arsenal rumours.

I doubt Wenger will sign Huuntelaar as he'll play Arshavin nd Van Persie up top and he has good cover in Eduardo and Bednter. Expect a defensive mid in either Viera, Matuidi, De rossi or Toulalan. There is also a possibilty that a centre back will be signed this will be one of haangelaand, sakho, richards or chilleni. Just have to say Arshavin is a genius. His second goal against Athletico was pure class. No wonder Wenger isn't getting another forward.

Now to Man Utd.

I know that Fergie has said that we will not be buying anymore players but this is just to make sure teams like real madrid and man city don't outbid Utd. The upcoming game against Valencia is a chance for Fergie to see how Silva and Villa fair. I think if Douglas Costa becomes available for cheaper Fergie will snap him up. Also we will see Dodo join utd in January as at the moment he is only 17. A deal has been struck with Corinthianas for 5m. Now to Michael Essien. Personally I feel that he is the best defensive midfielder in the world and as a Utd fan would love to see him in a Utd shirt but I doubt Chelsea would sell to rivals. I think he was to go it would be to foreign opposition e.g Barca.

Thanks – zz
To the guy that said this:

"OK I'm a scouser but Bobby Robson was my manager and manager to all of us when he took charge of England. I think he was a great man, a gentleman, we all respected him, he didnt play mind games and was like a father figure, he'll be sadly missed. God Bless Sir Bobby.
EL TORRO"

Well said, mate. He was a lovely man and will be missed.
After Billy Sharp turned them down, Notts County will sign Karl Hawley from Preston
To whoever wrote this ''hangerland for 11m(cup tied til jan in europe)
IN WENGER I DONT TRUST
F.O.Y.S''
What a load of rubbish, firstly, UEFA laws state that you may register one player who has already played in the UEFA cup if he is now to play in the champions league. As for not trusting in Wenger, you are a bigger fool than your rumours first suggested.

Onto rumours, this is partly wishful thinking, partly a rumour, but I certainly don't claim it will happen, just an incling of mine – Wenger has staded that he may sign one player or two, after seeing Arsenal's failure to score many of the chances at the emirates cup (saturday) and the fact Usmanov is willing to back Wenger in the transfer market, and the fact he has around £40m, (add to that the growing sense of disillusionment in some fans – see above) I believe he may make a bid of £40m to sign David Villa! Valencia may be willing to accept a bid from Arsenal, as they have not gone public, and have not pressured them or the player, unlike the other interested teams, and as for the player himself, David Villa has stated he always watches Arsenal when he can, and admitted he loved their style of play (and he is good friends with Fabregas) therefore, although a long shot, I believe it could happen.
To the person who said Mascherano will go to Barcelona for 35m.
Liverpool will not accept any deal for Mascherano unless it involves a player exchange. Keita Yaya Busquets and Henry are possible.

On an encyclopedia site, Real madrid players Van der vaart Huntelaar Van Nistelroij and M Diarra do not have numbers.
All players are linked with moves to england, but any could be part of any Alonso deal.
M Diarra could go to Arsenal, he is a great holding midfielder and would suit Wengers tactics.

My uncle (source) says that David Villa will join LFC before the start of the season and Aguero will come in next year with Rafa taking on tactics from Chelsea ManU and Barca – 4–3–3 formation.

Marik Hamsik is being lined up as part of the Dossena deal –
Aliadiere to return to top flight with HULL!
HERE FIRST!

PERSONAENTRADA LFC
I work for a company that supplies office equipment to fulham fc. apparently the rumour going around the club is that the former brighton/spurs striker bobby zamora is off to portsmouth for a fee of £6 million. he still has a house in the chichester area from his brighton days which is only about 20 miles from pompey!
Breaking news to all Celtic supporters
Eidur Gudjohnson is flying into Glasgow to hold talks about a one year loan then to sign at end of season when Celtic have the funds for next summer .
Also Chris Commons will sign for a fee of about 2.5m
that will be all to come through into Parkhead but going the other way is Lee Naylor to portsmouth 350k
Andy Hinkel to go home to Germany and play with Hertha Berlin for 2 million ( Celtic Yongster Paul Caddis to take his place ) Samaras will sign for stoke but all the rumours of Mcmanus leaving are not true as he will stay captain .

heard it hear firt
Manchester United close to signing Malaysia striker Amri Yahya after a great 2 goal performance.

Arsenal Has Sign De Rossi
To all Man City fans, people are not jealous of your wealth, the thing that is getting on peoples nerves (which is what I feared would happen) is that with your wealth has come an arrogance that you are somehow the biggest team in the world now. Can I just remind you that to be a big team you actually have to win something not just scrape into the top 10 in the league. You will end up more hated that Man U but at least they are successful– YOU ARE NOT!!!!!. Anyway on to rumours, Lescott will join the band of mercenaries, Arsenal to get Chamahk, Cattermole to Liverpool, Ribery to Man U, and anyone with no morals and an absolute greed to double their already farcical wage to go to Shitty.

IJRBLUE
Phillipe Senderos on his way out of Arsenal to Everton which paves the way for Lescott to move to City. Not always the best of defenders but Moyes may get the best out of him.
  –––––––––––––––––––Barnsley FC–––––––––––––––––––

Barnsley are set to complete 4 quick signings costing nearly 1.5million. Adam Hammill will move for 600k from Liverpool after having his wisdom teeth removed. Andy Gray will move, after agreeing terms a few weeks ago, for 600k as soon as Charlton have been taken over. Alan Quinn is set to sign for around 200k from Ipswich. One more signing can be expected. All of this is the reason as to why the squad photo has been pushed back to Thursday 4th Aug. The Hammill and Quinn deals can be expected to be complete by Wednesday. MattBFC93 told you first.

Ive heard that bristol city have accepted a bid for mccindoe from CARDIFF CITY
I am a liverpool fan (and have no 'inside sources') ,I am just making an observation. Previously on the lfc.tv website andrea dossena had no number indicating that he was sure to leave but i just checked and he has been allocated the number 38 shirt. Obviously rafa has decided to keep dossena for the time being.
Just making observations.
WJB
Cardiff City are going to sign Telstar(Second Division side in Holland)is 6ft 4 striker Johann Voorschool.

Also in the market for Metz centre midfielder Laurent Agouazi.

Finally another defensive midfielder from England this time, Lee Peltier.
Thats it – just come back from Rio. D Costa has signed for United for £14m plus extras.
Who will replace paul scholes? fabregas will. A pre–contract has been agreed between man united and the gunners for a fee of £52mil. He will arrive in jan after wenger signs brazillian midfielder fabio costino.
I feel sorry for the deluded Spurs fans on here. Shame really, i can't see you boys finishing above 8th position again this season. Harry to wheel and deal as per usual, with 3rd rate signings inevitable to fit into his archaic and predictable tactical system. I've never understood the hype surrounding your small insignificant club. Anyway, onto more important matters. Expect MON to make a flurry of signings within the next two weeks. Upson, Keane, Mancienne and M. Diarra to arrive at Villa Park shortly. Everton, Villa, Man City, Fulham and Sunderland to be the clubs challenging the top four. Spurs, well, as per usual expect a poor season offering little promise.
The right side of the Holte.

Efc news lescott WONT GO TO CITY even though everton will sign senderous for 6mill it's just as cover at centre back so lescott can cover baines.
Outs
No one

INS
Senderous 6mill
Elm 4mill
Dabo 3mill
Joey Barton 2mill
Defour on season long loan
West Ham want to get rid of Dean Ashton and replace him with Gudjohnson from Barcelona on a permanent deal, they also want Luca Toni on loan for the season.
I have it on good authority that Cillian sheridan And alan gow will sign for Partick thistle on a year loan With a view to buy gow using the money we have made from selling Twaddle and harkins !!
To whoever said this – 'I was talking to David Wheater last night in Redcar, he told me that Manchester City have bid £19M for him. He is going for talks sometime this week. Lescott is not going there so City need a replacement for Dunne who is going to Sunderland.'

David Wheater for 19 mil. Now that is comedy!!

Man United to sign a replacement for Hargeaves. Essien has been linked, but the probable signing will be either Mark Noble from West Ham or a sneaky move for Liverpool target, Lee Cattermole.
Liverpool have enough money to sign one more player even if Arbeloa, Dossena and Alonso hadn't or are about to leave.

Rafa still has about 25 mil that the owners gave him.

Outs
Arbeloa gone
Dossena 4.5
Alonso 35 No player exchange rafa has said he just wants cash upfront. He made this demand so that he can go after David Villa as valencia want cash up front.

Ins
Villa 40 mil + Voronin
Aqualain 15–20 mil

Bring on number 19
I am fuming at rumours I have heard coming from Pride Park.

I have been reliably informed that the club are prepared to accept bids for both Commons and Hulse! If this is true, then I have lost a lot of faith in AP, and can only imagine how angry Cloughie is. The only consolation is that the transfer fee's I have heard have been reasonable.

Commons – £2.5 million (Celtic)
Hulse – £3 million (Boro)

I hope NC will be given these funds to help him compete in the transfer market (we need a striker – Billy Sharp maybe!?!), but he may not see any transfer budget increase until January.

If these rumours are true, then I will not be a happy fan.

Liverpool and Man U Rumours

Aquilani is a done deal. Pen has already been put to paper, the delay is due to the reluctance in appearing that deals were made while they were supposed to be persuading Alonso to stay.

A relative of Kuyt's stylist has also been speculating on the imminent arrival of Huntelaar. The two are apparently close and Kuyt has endorsed him to Benitez.

Liverpool's interest in Douglas Costa was a smokescreen to deflect away from their more serious targets while forcing a couple of extra million out of United's pocket. Costa will eventually move to United for around 19m.

According to close sources to me who work in the clubs day to day runnings. Plymouth Argyle are looking set to offload Doumbe and Walton to Millwall by next Tuesday. .with Walton going on a season loan with view to a Permanent deal. .and Doumbe signing a 3 year contract.
However. .Plymouth are expected to pull off a trio of signings by the end of next week. One of them being Sudanese Wonderkid Ahmed Sheriff. .work permit issues have been holding off the deal. .however this is looking to be succesful as well as the medical.
The other two are still unclear. .although it look to be (Charlie Adam – Loan from Rangers). . (Albert Adamoah – Barnet)
JS
To the aston villa fan who said everton will not be signing ashley young for 18 – 20mil because if moyes values one of the best defenders in the prem at 25mil + then ashley young should be about 30mill+ because he apparently took lescott out of the game. the reason ashley young is valued by other clubs at 18 mil to 20 mill is because he is crap he has only had 1/2 of a good season then he dissapered through the other half and before the good half he gave you would have been lucky to scrape 5 million for him.
everton to sign
2 or 3 youngest
if we sell lescott for 25+ mill expect moyes to bid for long time target v.love or mourtino if we keep lescott expect moyes to go after sol campbel steven defour, s.hunt , witsel, sendoros, alan smith or tuncay
Birmingham city to make a swoop for nicky hunt who has been released by bolton also talk of gardner from the vile being under consideration but all along big eck has said he has had people in spain lookin at options plus a few other countrys so expect a signing that will shock the smaller prem teams like biglia from anderlecht as big eck done alot of business early but is now waiting for the price drop time in this transfer window . expect a striker to come in an 1 to leave as current strikers no firing at all .
possibles ;–––

phillips + 2m for fryatt from leicester
bent +4m for mcCormack from cardiff
Oconnor for moses from palace
offer short term contract to viduka
if loan for traore a no go then welbeck to sign on season long loan.
bale permanent if traore fails.

anybody else got anymore news on birmingham
Just seen niel mellor walking into finch farm.
I would like to know how some gooners think that by replacing adebayor with chamakh is good because adebayor would have been going to the african cup of nations in january. . . chamakh is moroccan is he not?? and if i'm not mistaken, morocco compete in this cup as well???? as for the poster who said arsenal will have a full squad during the competition while man city, tottenham, aston villa and everton will be missing key players. . that's either pure fantasy or complete ignorance. man city have ridiculous squad depth now anyway so im sure they'll just about cope, tottenham will only lose assou–ekotto (hardly a central figure), aston villa have exactly zero african players (oh other than salifou) so its only everton that might struggle to replace players such as yakubu, yobo and pienaar.

anyway, some spurs rumours now that i've heard, some are believable, some not so much! but i'll post them up anyway to be torn apart:

in's:
crouch
naughton
walker
huntelaar 17m
micah richards 7m
turner 7m
gudjohnson 9m

outs:
bent 14m sunderland
keane and jenas 22m villa
chimbonda 2m portsmouth
  To the guy who said:

"Liverpool have made a bid for Ezequiel Garay who has been on loan at Madrid but has now returned to Santander"

unfortunately you have your facts wrong, he is a madrid player who was on loan at santander and has now returned to the capital. Garay is seen as a good long term prospect but may be loaned out again to gain experience. don't expect him to be sold as at 22 he has the all the time to develop into the hardened defender that madrid like to play with.

safe tings PASO
  To the person who wrote:
"My uncle works at the Molineux and he says Mick McCarthy is quitly trying to bring Ronaldo to Wolves from Corinthians, and Ronaldo is interested on a move England. Ronaldo & Ebanks–Blake, top half finish for me!"
mcCarthy has already got doyle ebanks blake and ewelumo so why would he try to sign ronaldo???

hull city possible ins(unlikely but possible)
ross mcCormack £4–5mill unlikely though as brown is being stupid and saying he won't pay tht much for a "championship player"
joe ledley £6mill ledley wants to play in the prem and may not be willing to wait for another year if a prem team come along.
voronin p/e turner to liverpool for voronin + cash

zamora unlikely as he is stalling alot and wants to stay in london.

arsenal to sign chamack 5mill + add ons based on results. veira on a free. matuidi in 8mill. cb possibly hangeland.

man u to wait until january for other signings but won't spend much then either as fergie will retire at end of season and new manager will get loads of cash

liverpool to get negrado as part of alonso deal(back up for torres). aquilani or silva as replacements. no david villa as liverpool need to sell to buy and rafa won't sell many aas he wants to keep the squad together.

chelsea will sign no one

man city won't sign lescott unless he hands in transfer request. mark hughes may offer 15mill +jo on a permanent as he has many strikers. moyes may be tempted as if the loan is successful and jo scores alot he may have 2 pay 15mill to get him on a permanent anyway. and evertyon need strikers
No rumour. . Pure speculation with attempted logic. Patience is a virtue so no need for defeatism in the Media on Arsenal. There is time yet and Wenger has proven for a long time he has a nose for a buy, be it not a reactionist.

Personally I would like the squad to remain intact, bar the names that have left and names that will be leaving. People seem to forget that within the Arsenal squad there are many players that have the potential to mature this season. Not to mention the need for some stability and nucleus. Those names leaving/left generally are of those who have reached full maturity and won't necessarily add to the squad in its growth.

It would be nice to see a mixture of known and unknown players to join, though no need to start panic buying. 1 for each line of the formation. Huntelaar and Negredo would both suit Arsenal for goals around Arshavin and V Persie, as would an unknown Udinese player like Kwadwo provide suplementary backbone to the vision of Fabregas and a Hangeland some much needed aerial defence. Who knows what other players Wenger may be looking at?! The Emirates Cup may provoke decisions within a consistent strategy. .
  Arsenal transfer news:
wenger will bring in 4 more players and 2 more will depart, the players arriving will be either zapata or richards 4 12.5m, patrick viera on a free, chamakh or hunterlaar 4 12.5m and a suprise move for ryan babel maybe in january or in later august 4 about 10m. adebayor and toure have already left 4 city 4 40m and gallas may leave but silvestre will leave 4 2.5m 2 bordeux.
I was in the THFC shop at WHL and i saw a shirt with Delph being printed on the back of it. Just saw the name and no number. But it will be confirmed this week that Fabian Delph will be a spurs player.

Who keeps saying that jenas is leaving?? To be honest i want him to go but he is persistent to stay. Viera is keen on a move to THFC due to first team football and he wants to play in 2010 world cup.

THFC Ins:
Delph: 7mil
Huntelaar 15mil (if Bent goes)
Viera free

Outs:
Bentley: Everton or Aston Villa 12mil
Bent: Sunderland 15mil
Hutton: Aston Villa 4mil
O'Hara: Fulham loan
  Jeremy Toulalan to Arsenal.
Huntelaar to sign for Liverpool as he wants to come to the prem and has admired liverpool whe they battered madrid last year
Ngiak is unsure about something. .
if the glaziers bought over man u, they own the club and the debt is theirs (glaziers' since they borrowed to buy the club)
but if they put their debt on the club to repay it. .
technically the club is not theirs, then. .
so who owns the club actually? how come such a large debt is sanctioned by the FA?
any accountants around?
ngiak is worried that le havre is angry with man u about paul pogba
how about that turkish starlet?

  In response to this:

'According to my mate who works for a French newspaper Arsenal will sign St Etienne duo Bafetimbi Gomis and Blaise Matuidi for a fee of £18m. Apparantely they will also sign Rangers centre back Madjid Bougherra for £7m and Arsenal's interest is why he wasn't interested in a move to Bordeaux.'

Either your mate isn't very good at their job or you're making this up as Gomis signed for Lyons on Wednesday 29th July for €13m. Please try to check your 'facts' before you post or you look like an idiot.
  Walsall News

News on a couple of message boards about us signing Bristol City Forward Lee Trundle for 100K, don't believe this, its not going to happen. Walsall are however intrested in signing him on loan. This was first spoke about after the behind–closed–doors freindly at Bristols training ground.

Trialist Matt Richards will have his future decided in the coming week. It is expected that he will be offerd a 1 year contract with a 1 year optional.

Chris Hutchings is after another forward if he fails to sign Trundle. Chris said that he wants a striker to not just put presure on Parkin and Deeney, but to add a cutting edge to our attacking line up.

Expect 1 maybe 2 signings this week, with another signing before the end of August.
  RIP Sir Bobby Robson RIP

To the guy who posted this. .

LFC are in less debt than any of the other top 4 so stop with your puerile LFC bankrupt posts (doesn’t the capture of Johnson tell you something?).

Yes, well noticed they are in less debt sarcastic applause but their debt needs to be paid off quicker than the other 3 so they are in more financial trouble (unless the yanks have sorted it with this new loan structure thing).

Anyway, United to sign either David Silva or Essien. They have just signed 16 year old Paul Pogba from Le Havre. They will most likely sign Essien because they need that type of player and he has wanted out of Chelsea for a few months now.
Liverpool won't sign Aquilani, if you actually read anything he said a while ago he doesn't want to leave Roma. They will probably sign a player of a similar style though.
Chelsea will sign Pirlo because the attraction of working with Ancelloti will prove too much for Pirlo and he will want to move. They probably won't sign Pato because he is one hell of a prospect and could possibly be the best striker in the world in 2/3 years, bearing in mind he is only 19.
Arsenal will sign some players, just wait gooners, AW has a plan and like most managers is waiting till all the money clubs have put their wallets down. Hangelaand is an ongoing one and is seeming ever more likely.

TELFORD!!!! TELFORD!!!!
Real football my friends.

Ngiak talk normally, you are annoying the hell out of everyone. We get your name is Ngiak, there is no need to say it 30 times every time you post.

"Goatman gary! Do you have any rumours for preston north end fc? Thanks."

–Expect Paul Parry to arrive soon for the whites.

"I heard Newcastle are talking to Jan Železný about a coaching role.
$groove monkee$"

–Considering Jan Zalezny is a former world record holding javelin thrower, i doubt that very much. Having said that we are talking about Mike Ashley here.

"HEY GOATMAN,
What in the name of sanity are you on about.
MON to buy Scott Carson!!!!!!
The man is a liability. Years ago LFC fans sang Careless Hands to Gary Sprake of Leeds because he had a few calamities.
David James was called calamity James for similar reasons."

–Martin has always had his eye on Carson, and i meant as a second keeper anyway. He's still young (24) for a keeper. Good investment for the future for someone. I'm guessing some of these rumours, anyway, I'm not Mystic Meg. David James has been Englands no.1 keeper for years, so i guess he laughs last.

Also, to the guy calling himself 'Dogman Doggy', are you so fixated by my transfer predictions that you want to become my dog sidekick?

Gotta go, fish to feed.
–Goatman Gary.
Klaas–Jan Huntelaar will sign for AC Milan within the next 7 days.
Serbian striker Nikola Djurdjic is currently in a transfer tug of war with SPL sides Falkirk, St Mirren and Motherwell.
Fabian Delph has agreed terms with Man City just waiting on the two clubs to agree fee. As a part of the deal Delph will be loaned straight back to Leeds. Tommy Smith to West Ham for roughly 1.8–2m
First of all can I express my condolences to Sir Bobby Robson's family. He was a true gentleman and an excellent manager, football will be poorer without him. God Bless. (I'm a Scotland supporter too). Now rumours – Celtic. .Mowbray has now seen enough of the first team squad to realise that he still needs a couple of players but first he will have to move out some. Expect the following before transfer deadline. .out – M Brown, A Hinkel, S McManus, L Naylor, M Donati, S McDonald. Killen/Samaras/Flood will be given opportunities. Some loan deals for younger guys, Mizuno/Ferry/McCourt imminent. Ins – E Gudjohnnsen, J Thomson, and a couple of young Hungarians. . . over at castle greyskull I have heard that Arsenal will move for Bougherra after this weekends tournament and Boyd and McGregor will be allowed to go for £3m tops, expect Birmingham and Hull to enter the bidding. . .hail hail. . and r.i.p Sir Bobby, a genuine legend
Confirmation from ex–pupil of Alonso's mother in Tolosa. Deal done between Real and Liverpool. Announcement suspended until Liverpool have procured services of replacement.

You didn't hear it here first (apart from the Mrs Alonso, or possibly Ms. Alano if my interpretation of Spanish / Basque naming conventions is accurate, bit)
