((( AFC Bulletin )))

Possable move by AW 4 Real Madrid player Rafael Van der Vaart as he's set 2 leave Madrid come the summer . Its heard AFC are favourites 2 sign Wolfsburg striker Dzeko in the summer , Dzeko scored 16 goals in 31 matches 4 Wolfsburg . AFC on loan striker Jay Simpson may not return 2 AFC as WBA intend 2 extend Simpson's loan 4 another season .Spurs 2 make an offer 4 Traore 2 AW , its not certain if AW would let traore move 2 Spurs . If Gareth Barry leaves AVFC expect him 2 move 2 either AFC or CFC .
Rafa is planning to use the majority of his budget on a player who can work both the flanks and also in Gerrards role behind the frontman and his number one target is David Silva but since Rafa leaves nothing to chance he has a long list of players lined up should the Silva deal not go through. .

Plan A – David Silva – Believe it or not but Silva has been Rafas number 1 targert since last summer.last time aroud Valencia wanted 25 million for the player which Parry was not willing to pay which lead to Keane's arrival at Anfield. This summer Valencia want 30 million for Silva but Rafa will wait for it to come down and won't pay a penny above 25. if it dosent reduse rafa will look at plan B.

Plan B – Marek Hamsik – A player that Rafa has benn admiring for some time now he is rated around 20 million but Rafa will try to work out a deal in the region of 16–18 million(Dossena maybe somehow included). Hamsik is also being followed by Chelsea and some other clubs but Liverpool is his prefered destination mainly because of Martin Skrtel and Steven Gerrard who he idoilozes. Rafa was wathcing him against England and was impressed with his moment and passing.

Plan C – Maxi Rodriguez – Not likely that both plans A and B won't work out But if it happens the expecet to see the Argentine at Anfield for around 14 million or 6million plus Yossi(Whos in Rafas bad books after his Injury on iternational duty) Pennant may also go as part of the deal if Pompey do down.

Plan D – Santi Cazrola – Just a precaution as he can't play in behind the striker but he may still be at Anfield even if one of the above three is signed with Riera or Benayoun goung to the spanish outfit

Watch this space at least 1 of the above players will surly sign!!

REDREPORT
Looks like the northeast football fan got it right more to come after golf on friday with big alans brother in law
To the lad saying ruben dela red not getting a game at at real,so move to Liverpool. .get your facts right,he aint playing due to a heart problem. . .On to real rumours,Ashley Young has had his head turned and will move to either Chelsea or Real madrid. But M.Owen will sign on a free alongside Downing for Villa. Also a right winger meaning milner can move in field.
  Man Utd Outgoings

Sir Alex is looking to trim the excess away from the squad in the close season with the following departures:

Transfers:
Danny Simpson – £2–3m – With Gary Neville, Wes Brown and Raphael da Silva ahead in the pecking order, first team chances will be extremely limited. Expect Simpson to go to a lower end Premiership team (ie; Middlesborough, Sunderland or Portsmouth) or a Higher–end Championship team.

Lee Martin – £1–2m – With the arrival of Zoran Tosic, his first team chances will be extremely limited behind Ronaldo, Giggs, Nani, Park and Tosic. So he should end up with a mid–higher Championship team.

David Gray – £500,000 – With Gary Neville, Wes Brown and Raphael da Silva ahead in the pecking order, first team chances will be extremely limited. He will probably be off to a lower level Championship team, or even League One.

Ron–Robert Zieler – £500,000 – League One looks likely, with Foster and Kuszczak covering the First Team and Ben Amos coming through the ranks, there will be little opportunities for Zieler.

Owen Hargreaves – £10m – Sir Alex is getting fed up with Hargreaves injury problems and has decided to take action. Hargreaves will either be on his way back to Germany, or will end up in the Premiership (Tottenham, Liverpool and Aston Villa all look likely). Sir Alex also feels that Darron Gibson might be able to step up and grasp the chance.

Season Long Loans:
Ben Amos – League One
Richard Eckersley – Championship
Either Manucho or Danny Welbeck – Scottish Premiership, Rangers looking the most likely
Danny Drinkwater – League One
Tom Cleverley – Championship
James Chester – League One

Man Utd Incomings

Sir Alex is more or less happy with the squad he has at the moment, but is very reluctant to spend the £20+ Million that is being asked for Carlos Tevez, especially as he has Frazier Campbell, Manucho, Danny Welbeck and even Kiko Macheda waiting for a chance. If he is unable to lower the asking price on Tevez, Carlos will be off to Real Madrid in the summer, And Welbeck/Campbell/Manucho will be given chances to prove themselves.

Defensively, Sir Alex feels he has more than enough cover with the da Silva twins, John O'Shea, Jonny Evans and Wes Brown, also, Sir Alex has been very impressed with Craig Cathcart's performances on loan at Plymouth Argyle, so expect him to get chances. But Sir Alex has also been looking at David Wheater. As he feels that Evans and Wheater will be an impressive combination in the future, so a bid may be in the works for around £10m.

Sir Alex is interested in De La Red, to replace the outgoing Hargreaves, although Real Madrid's price tag seems to be a stumbling block along with thier reluctance to sell to United after the Ronaldo fiasco last season.

Sir Alex feels that he has more than enough youthful players breaking through that he will not buy anyone else, other than those two prospects, and expect the da Silva twins, Gibson, Evans, Possebon, Campbell and Welbeck to step up and fill the gaps.

However, next season will be make or break time for Anderson and Nani, as Sir Alex feels they have yet to justify the large fee paid for them.
Rafa Benitez has been looking at young british players from the lower leagues and is after 4 promising young players, Joe Ledley(4.5m + Ngog on loan), Joe Mattock(2m) and Jon Shelvey(3.5m) are being lined up
Aaron Ramsey is off to Liverpool or Everton for 4m Wenger feels he has not devoloped as much as he would like despite only being 18. Also Arsenal are looking at Yaya Toure(13m) , Lopez(15m) , Laursen(7m) and Kuba from Dortmund (10m)
There aren't half some silly romours flying around on here so for some proper rumours. Hicks and Gillett have given Rafa £30m plus money he makes off players, including the £16m from Robbie Keane, so with £46m expect Liverpool to sign:
IN
David Silva – £20m
Gareth Barry – £15m
Michael Owen – Bosman Ruling
Aaron Lennon – £12m
Keirrison – £8–12m
OUT
Xabi Alonso – £20m
Andrea Dossena – £5m
Lucas Leiva – £6m
Ryan Babel – £10m

I also have belief that Man Utd will sign Karim Benzema for £30m and will sell Berbatov for £15m. Arsenal will sell Adebayor to Real Madrid for £20m+ Huntelaar, with Carlos Vela replacing him in the first team. Chelsea will be relatively quiet during the window and will only sign Vedad Ibisevic for £10m to replace Didier Drogba, who is set for Man City or Barcelona for £25–40m.
All the talk of RVP Cesc and Ade leaving or staying is getting boring, we won titles before any of these players signed and what have we won since they signed, so i say if wenger gets ridicoulus offers for them in the summer let them go.

sell Almunia and buy Frey,
keep Sagna,
Swap Toure with Richards from City,
Sell Clichy to milan if they want him and spend the money on Lahm,
Liverpool are reportedly in for Theo let him go and Sign Gourcuff,
Sell cesc and Buy Diego from WBremen
Let Diaby go to Jose at Inter and Buy Melo or Veloso or both.
Keep Nasri
Keep Arshavin. obviously
Keep Eduardo

maybe a cheeky bid for Villa.

we'd be no worse off in my eyes. just sick of all the specualtion either sign or get lost!
Ferguson and McGregor will be booted out of Ibrox in the Summer which will look like a financial issue, however will actually be due to their antics off the pitch!
Fleck won't be going anywhere unless Rangers receive a ludacris offer. Rangers will sell in the summer but it won't be any promising youngsters who will have a bigger part to play next season, although if it's Walter in charge you can forget them getting a chance as usual!!! Old pals act! He will probably look at bringing in some of his mates! Nightmare!!!
Fair play someone else appreciates that the england team has the potential to be the best around– its so boring all these idiots claiming england r poo u clearly can't spot a good player to save ur life– 2 many people on this site r just pugnacious mupppets trying 2 have arguments. Right i know this has been on here 4 a while but my rumour is glen johnson has a gentlemans agreement 2 move 2 liverpool (100% true between the reds his agent and himself) and reckons HE can convince them 2 sell 4 9mil if liverpool offer that (again fair play 2 those of u who got here before me but i KNOW this is true now so thought id share) apparently he only signed a contract on the advice of his agent to gain a bumper pay packet till he moves and has no intention of staying. Have 2 feel 4 pompey as theyre a good honest club and i like them, but johnsson and keirrisson were the two i wanted this summer so this news is wicked to me. Unfortunately i can't tell u who told me this as its kind of sensitive but i assure u its true (although that doesn't def mean hel sign sorry. .)so there u have it– over to u vultures with nothing better to do to pick holes in my grammar(ETOBOY). . .much love DUCKULA
After being expelled from the Scotland squad,Ferguson and McGregor will be pulled over the coals by Sir David Murray, the word is this sort of behaviour will not be tolerated,as now the media have got hold of it,Murray got rid of Paul Le Guen and backed Ferguson before but not now, both of them and Boyd will be kicked out in the summer.Neil Alexander is an excellent replacement with Cerny of Hamilton joining so there's no goalkeeping problem,Kevin Thomson will be the new club captain.
There is also talk about a take over,a Canadian consortium,I know it's been mentioned before but there's been further developments,if this goes ahead expect a massive clearout at Ibrox executives and players, the guy in charge of this consortium does'nt take any prisoners, they are talking massive investment here,so there could be bright future instore for all us bears.

TrueBlue
Oh yeah sorry in addition 2 my last post i also found out apparently micah richards went 2 watch arsenal train as he was thinking of a move 2 north london but the entire training session was just a five a side session. He also found out that wenger has nothing to do with defensive training at the club and so is now unwilling 2 make the move sorry gunners he would have been quality– Duckula

Jermaine Beckford is linked with a summer signing to Tottenham Hotspur. This should boost the amount of goals Spurs score!
Watford are interested in offering tommy mooney a coaching role, and are also signing teddy sheringhams son, charlie from crystal palace.
I have heard that THFC will have a mega rich new owner in the summer, who will make man city's owners look like paupers!
No rumour here just facts. Rangers recieved a bid of 5 million in january for john fleck from an unnamed EPL team so for some one to come out and say that Man U will sign him for 1.5 mil is living in a dreamworld.Oh and Celtic fans get real with your wish lists. Peter Lawell has a phobia of spending money that the club has earned so expect another bargain hunt in the summer, to replace mcgeady boruc n nakamura.
  LFC Rumours

Rafa will look at homegrown players first and foremost this summer. This is not, as has been repeatedly stated on this site, because of FIFA's 6+5 rule but because of the need to have 8 British produced players in his CL squad. With the depature of Keane & Pennant he is very short of British produced players in his squad. With this in mind expect definite moves for the following: 1. Gareth Barry – not for the £10+ million quoted all over the place but for more like £6/7 million due to his imminent contract expiracy. 2. Aaron Lennon – Rafa is very keen on him and despite his new contract expect an approach from Anfield around the £14million mark. 3. Glenn Johnson – definite interest was expressed in January but Rafa was put off by the asking price of £10million. Because of Pompy's woeful form and the fact that they will need to sell in the Summer expect them to accept a bid of £6/7 million come the summer. 4. David Wheater – It's worth pointing out that this is only an option IF Daniel Agger is sold in the summer. If Borough go down expect him to be available for under £5 million. 5. Michael Mancienne – the least likely to happen of the bunch but probably the most interesting non–the–less. He is out of contract on 2010 and because he is under 23 his fee would be decided by tribunal (if he decided he wanted to move from Chelsea) rather than by the Clubs. He has definitly been watched by both Eduardo Macia (Chief Scout) and Benitez and is seen as definite if he decides not to sign at The Bridge. Forget Downing he is Spurs bound, James Milner will be on the shortlist but Benitez has asked before and has been put off by Villa's valuation and as usual Joe Cole will be linked and as usual that is not going to happen.
  5 players in at Liverpool over the Summer;

Villa
Maxi Rodriguez
Barry
Albiol or Upson
Maicon or Srna

Outs
Babel (swap deal with Athletico or Inter)
Voronin
El Zhar
Benayoun (swap deal with Athletico or Valencia)
Lucas
Plessis
Leto
Dossena
Deggen
Hobbs
Itanje
A few Liverpool rumours – from a reliable source.

Voronin wants to make his German stay permanent, but this will depend on price. Benitez wants a good deal, given Voronins form over the past few months, and will take him back as cover if the right fee is not met.
Benitez is also keen for Pennants loan deal to become permanent, and will accept any half decent offer.
Philip Degan is currently listed as having a 'groin strain', but this is not actually true. After a couple of dreadful performances, he is considered excess baggage. Watch how quickly he gets 'fit' in the summer and moves on.

As for possible players coming in, Benitez is currently keeping an eye on Radoslav Kovac, who is on loan at West Ham. Whilst they (Hammers) have first option on him, he could be seen as a replacement for Alonso (if he does go).

One of LFC's scouts has also been to Hoffenheim on more than one occasion, to check out their Senegalese striker, Demba Ba. The scout had originally been over to look at Vedad Ibisevic, who had been in prolific goalscoring form until he did his cruciate ligaments earlier in the season. However, Ba seems to have picked up where the Bosnian left off, and has been a major factor in Hoffenheims rapid rise in German football.

I have also heard that both Antonio Cassano of Sampdoria and Matt Fryatt at Leicester are being closely watched, to bring in extra goalscorers to the club. If either do come, expect Ngog & Pachecco to go out on a season long loan, with Christian Nemeth finally making it into the 1st team.
Please. . to the numpty. .Nakamura to Villa £7m. get a grip, everyone knows he'll stay at Parkhead or go back to Japan, now with the impending arrival of Levein at Ibrox,Gomis and Sandazer will follow,a certain Mr. Feeney let it be known on Saturday night. he only wishes he was going with them.

TrueBlue always true
Right, some rumours. . in fact really good rumours, which will become actual transfer in July.
Word on the street is that Pennant will go across the park. . fact!!! This will be the toffees only big name signing due to lack of funds unless they sell. . .but they won't generate much, maybe arteta to the mighty gunners. .but we will only pay 10million tops and that is only if cesc goes.
Moutinho will not be at goodison next season neither will veloso so these rumours can stop now!!!
Spurs will be selling either lennon or bentley. . more likely it will be Bentley, he is devastated at being a bench warmer and like similar circumstances to Keane has made a mistake going there. However unlike Keane who is a big fish in a little pond and went to a bigger club and became a gold fish in an ocean, Bentley will more than likely go to either 2 of the big 4. . .could well be Liverpool. .watch this space, however Rafa is keen on Lennon.
Man u will sell Berbatov. .he just hasn't done it and has fallen into the same bracket as veron!!! They are looking at bringing back Forlan.
Right that's it for now have to go and pamper my boss's horse.
Ciao for now Benny T.
We are totally lacking in ludricous Man City rumours, so I propose starting some.

1) Robben for 30mil. An "insider" confirms he is sick of being forced to pass to Raul more than once per game. His agent confirms he would "welcome" talks, especially at around 200k per week.

2) Hughes finally loses patience after Robinho goes awol from training yet again. CCTV confirms he was caught visiting the Old Trafford Museum, and bought himself a replica shirt with "robbie" on the back. City fans in Rio "riot" on Ipanema at his betrayal. He is sold to Chelsea in return for an executive box for the Arab owners, who are said to be "questioning" their investment in city.

3) Aguero for 40mil. The player's father has confirmed it would be his son's "dream to play for Manchester. ". Leaked documents claim city "hope to exploit the confusion. . again"

4) City privately admit they are unable to flog any of their "dead wood" XI, and will give free transfers to 10 players, costing the club 50mil in severance.

5) Mark Hughes has taken up knitting to help deal with the pressure of running the world's richest club. Micah Richards is also learning but is all fingers and thumbs, an insider revealed.

Feel free to disseminate
Sorry, to break it to you and anyone else, but there is NO manager in the world who could provide England with a trophy. The players are just not good enough, end of story for the next 5–10 years and maybe longer unless we start producing more talent. Capello will take us to the quarters, which is our level and then one of the really top teams will take us apart easily. And he will have done as well as possible with the players he has.

I agree King should focus on his club career – I would be desparate to hang onto a juicy premiership wage for as long as possible
I reckon Mike Ashley has obviously tried to turn Newcastle into Britains biggest comedy club. He's somehow managed to merge a successful pantomime formula – with its many villains (Wise, Lambias, Himself & Barton) with a bloke dressed in a ladies wig (Collocini), the erstwhile hero (Shay Given) – with lashings of good comedy. Some of it dark some of it light hearted.

The premier league would be a much duller place without Jongleuers United Football Club

Huddlestone would offer plenty of girth – not width!
Newcastle will attempt to get Venables, but will end up with Big Ron instead
Ibrahimovic to come to the Prem next season, probably playing for Chelsea who will swap him with Drogba, and then bomb out midway through the season a la Shevchenko and disappear into obscurity in the Bundesliga.
Everyone knows Hicks and Gillett probably can't even afford to hold onto the club once their loan expires (for those who aren't convinced, bear in mind Gillett didn't have the £200m to buy the club in the first place and Hicks couldn't raise the cash to buy Gillett out of his half – source: G Gillett) the new stadium is the priority, Liverpool are showing now they don't NEED to spend that much, need I go on.

You wonder about some of these journalists, all of this is common knowledge, who are they trying to kid?
Absolutely no chance of Ibrahimovic going to Villa, in the last World Cup O'Neill denounced him as the most overrated striker in the world, if I remember correctly. I have to agree.
Why would Rafa buy Silva? If he was after wide midfielders (I feel like I should insert a Jan Molby joke here) surely the right side would be more of a priority? He already has Riera, Babel, and maybe Benayoun & Leto for the left
Manchester United will look to Franck Ribery and Antonio Valencia this summer. If Cristiano Ronaldo does leave for anywhere between €70m – €100m to Real Madrid then expect United to bid for both of these while possibly selling Ji–Sung Park or loaning out Zoran Tosic. There is also a chance that Real Madrid could offer Klaas Jan Huntelaar to United as part of a deal for Ronaldo. United may also pursue a bid for Nicolas Bertolo to sure up the centre of midfield while also getting first option on Rangers John Fleck by letting Rangers have Fabio Da Silva and Rodrigo Possebon on loan for next season. Kyriakos Papadopolous may also be targetted as a backup centre half, and one for the future, by adding him for his £4.6 million release clause.
Man city will be making a huge 120millon for david villa and making another huge bid for santa
cruz for around 40millon
  Essien – Barcelona – 30m
Cech – Barcelona – 20.5m
Tevez – Milan – 25m

I have heard from some very reliable sources that Michael Owen has signed a pre–contract deal with Arsenal! He will replace Adebayor who will be sold and all the money from that sale will enable Wenger to strengthen in other areas without having to fork out big money on a striker as Owen will have signed on a free transfer!
Blackburn summer transfers – outs Santa Cruz 20million(City,Real Madrid, Spurs),Derbyshire p/ex olyimpiacos,McCarthy 3.5million (celtic,Sunderland),Gamst 6million (everton, roma),Mokoena free, ooijer free, simpson loan exp, villaneuva loan exp, reid free. – ins– owen free(newcastle), Cisse 7million (marseille), davis free (portsmouth), Moses 5million + add–ons(palace), bentley 5million(spurs), givet 2million (marseille), Torosidis p/ex olimpiacos, Delph 6million (leeds). Big sam has freshen up the team and will also pocket some extra cash in the summer.
David silva and david villa are both transfer targets for liverpool. benitez's recent dismissal of a move for silva is a smokescreen to try an lower the price – basically benitez doesn't want to be held over a barrel. benitez is prepared to pay £20 million.

david villa's preferred destination is apparently Barcelona. its rumoured they will offer valencia £35 million (and that this will be accepted despite valencia initally looking for £40 million). liverpool are only prepared to pay £28 million maximum – expect villa to move to barcelona.

vicente is an apparent target for porto/befica and a bid of £14million will see him make the switch – valencia's financial woes crippling the clubs squad.

baraja is dismayed with the current situation at valencia, expect a trasfer request to be issued by the player and expect a glut of european clubs to move for him.
Liverpool have began talks to buy a French winger from the German Bundesliege. They have offered a Dutch attacker/winger plus an unknown amount of money. Nothing will be announced in the near future as negotiations have only just began.
Sir alex will shock everyone and sign carlos tevez permanently because guess what? he will get rid of wayne rooney. So the tranfers will be as follow for man utd.
Ins:
Ibrahimovich swap deal with rooney going other way
david silva swap deal with nani going other way
sergio ramos as part of ronaldo deal to r.madrid
mark schwarzer swap deal with kusczak
bertolo from banfield
leleon lescott
campbell recalled
out:
rooney
nani
brown
kusczak
manucho
martin
gibson loaned out
welbeck loaned out
Liverpool are set to raid Man City this summer. As Rafa is unwilling to pay up for Silva and Barry he has switched his targets to City duo Elano and Johnson. Johnson is seen as the long term successor to Gerrard. If Elano joins then Benayoun would probably leave, possibly to Wolves or Hull (if they stay up). Rafa will then finish by signing Glen Johnson, but only if the price is right. His back up is Onuhoa from City again.
Everton fc boss david moyes is set to make moves to sign victor obinna (inter)and Eljero Elia (fc twente).
Emmanuel Adebayor has recently come out and said that he has no regrets at staying with Arsenal, that he is happy at the Emirates, and that it is his desire to stay with Arsenal. He is going nowhere in the summer. Expect Robin van Persie and Theo Walcott to soon also commit their future to the club by signing new deals. Fabregas is going nowhere in the summer despite rumours of him set to leave for Spain, he has said many times that he will stay as long as Wenger is at the club and he is wanted. Wenger has said that Fabregas' contract will also be renewed at the end of the season. This along with holding onto all of our other key players will rightfully be the summer priorities. Adebayor has hit the nail on the head in his recent interview, in saying that if Man United had to do without Rooney, Ronaldo, Berbatov and Giggs then they would not win every game. We have had to do without Fabregas, Rosicky, Walcott, Eduardo and Adebayor in a key part of this season, yet we are still in the top four, we are still competing in this years Champions league, and we have got to Wembley in the FA Cup, all this without many key players. Most of these players, other than Rosicky and possibly Theo, will return after the international break and we will have a very strong end to this season, and be back fighting for the premier league next season. Also a quick rumour. Real Madrid will appoint no other than Carlo Ancelotti as their permenant manager next season. This will see players such as Arjen Robben, Wesley Sneijder, Rafael van der Vaart and Klaas Jan Huntelaar cleared out, in preperation for huge bids for both Kaka (would love to follow his current boss to the worlds most famous club) and Cesc Fabregas (will not happen, Cesc is happy at Arsenal).

In Arsene We Trust
