ARSENAL. evrybody is saying we need experience, but we actually have a fair bit of it, all we need is proven players who deliver with a blend of youth. At the back it looks likley that micah Richards will sign for around 8–10 mil. In midfield the winger will be franck Ribery for around 13 mil to replace either ljungberg or Hleb, Rio Mavuba will cost around 6 mil to cover for Gilberto as none of our CM's our DM's apart from him. Renato augusto will replace baptista for 4 mil and can go on the wings. It is probable that Carlos vela won't arrive and Bendtner isn't proven in prem, so Wenger may decide to go for an expensive striker which is f Torres or a cheap one like yoan gouffran. Outs are Reyes to athletico and maybe ljungberg or Hleb as well, Flamini to France or Italy, Aliadiere to France and Senderos to Italy. youngsters and spares will go on loan to championship. MERCI.

Billy Sharp (Scunthorpe) £2.2m – Newcastle who will also sign Nolan for £11m

a move for Eto'o look less likely now as he has said he is happy in Spain and Benitez would not want to lose either Sissoko or Alonso insted of a move for the camaroon international Liverpool will bid for vetren madird striker Raul (on the cheap around 5 mil), along side him next season will b amuari (spelling) from palmero Benitez rates him very highly and would love 2 have the Brazilian on board he would also like 2 bring in pato and Lucas levia. the midfeild will b strenghtened with possilbe sigings like Quaresma (Porto), Simao (Benfica), van d vart (Ajax) and Dani Alves (seville) the defense won't change much as Milito will proberbly b the only defensive sigining as Alves can cover at right back and Agger had a superub first season for the reds. Rafa will also move for youth middlesbourgh player nathan poritt in the near future as he is attracting big name clubs. GOING Out will be Cisse and maybe Bellamy but he might just stay another year at the club hypia could go 2 a host of clubs who are fighing for his signiture, &many of the reserve players will b scareficed as Benitez looks 2 challenge for the title sum players will go out on loan no big names players just youth and only a few reserve players Garcia may also go through the anfeild exit as he was not consistant enough for the club even though he had his injury

hope u enjoyed redining thx +T. J+

I've heard from friends in Germany that Bremen's Brazilian Centreback – Naldo – is on the verge of a move to the Premier League. Newcastle is his apparent destination.

West Ham Rumours.

From a very good source but seem unbeleivable to me but here goes.

Defenders – Leighton Baines will be at West Ham if the players involved in the swap agree to the move the opposite way. Luke Young at Charlton will come if he agrees to be cover for Lucas Neil. Also don't rule out a move for Roberto Carlos on a one year deal.

Midfield – Yaya Toure has been targetted as the main target to replace Reo–Coker when he leaves, but to give strength Makele is also being looked at on a two year deal. If a deal can be done at a reasonable price then Kerlon will be bought but it is unlikely he will get a work permit so if he joins will go out on loan in Europe whilst it gets sorted.

Forwards – Tevez has shown willing to stay but the clubs first choice would be a loan deal similar to Mascherano's at Liverpool but will buy him if that does not become an option. The other forwards being looked at are Bent, Saviola, Defoe and Owen – trhe favourite of these options being Defoe.

To be very honest don't think these are true but if any of them are I will be ecstatic.

Whufc rumours

Giles Barnes is staying at Derby for a season if they fail to stay up or are bottom in January he will sign for us as his father used to play for us.

Reo Coker is off to either Newcastle or Spurs.

if he goes to Newcastle this will not affect any move Scott Parker is planning. (which is to London hopefully West Ham)

my friend was on a business trip up in Scotland and Paul Konchesky is big rumours up there as the locals of Glasgow say that he has been seen up there. great signing for Rangers. good move for konch.

NUFC rumours

We will sign Baines (£4m), Viduka (Free), Hypia (£1.5m), Campbell (£2m), and Muhamadou Diarra (£8m) .

Out will be Butt (£1m–Sunderland), Bramble (Free–Birmingham), Moore (Free–Aberdeen), Bernard (Free–Fulham), Snriceck (Free–Scunthorpe), Onyewu (loan return–St. Liege)

Sibierski will sign a new two–year deal.

Big Sam wants to keep most of the squad he has after releasing however N'Zogbia could be a possible departure but he will keep Luque to bring the Spanish talent out of him!

Liverpool fc

Why do people keep saying Alonso will leave. Rafa has stated he is going nowhere and offered him a new contract. Xabi has said he is staying and wants to sign a new deal. This deal will be signed in a couple of weeks. Luis Garcia will also stay. Liverpool do not need to sell to raise cash they will only sell players Rafa does not want

Hyypia will have a choice similar to what Hamann had.

Going on loan will be Hammill, Anderson, Guthrie but only to Premiership teams

New signings will be

Lucas Leiva

Van der Vaart

Matty Taylor

Sir Alex is becoming increasingly frustrated with the Fernando Torres transfer saga because the player doesn't seem to know what he wants. Therefore, the Champions are likely to follow the signing of Owen Hargreaves with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Luis Nani from Inter and Sporting Lisbon, respectively. Ferguson is also going to use youngsters Ben Foster and Johnny Evans next season and blood them as future United stars.

Arsenal are set to lose out again due to the lack of financial clout. This time its Frank Ribery, who is off to Bayern Munich. Berbatov "£39m deal" for £27m + Saha is just the tabloid filling the backpage. Saha isn't worth anywhere near £12m!

. Mr H .

Everton are set to swoop for the highly rated 18 year old centre back James Wilson at Bristol City Moyes has had him wached on several occassions in the last year after having a bid rejected last year

Newcastle fans have gone quiet for one reason, we our board have made the worst appointment in the clubs history with allardyce.

expect to see Newcastle scouts at twickenham throughout the season scouting for some overweight physical players, fit right into sams style of play.

As a Newcastle fan, I would hope we will sign at least 4 new defenders to play alongside taylor, ideally these would be Baines hypia Curtis Davies and maybe Luke young from Charlton, as Stephen Carr is a awful right back.

if Newcastle don't sign any Bolton players, it would be the best possible case, from a awful state that the club is now in.

I have a good source that Hibs r to sign TEDDY SHERINGHAM because Collins wants an old head in is young squad also heard Collins is keeping an eye on colo colo wonderkid nicolas millan

who ever said that ivan sproule is going to Tottenham and Mido going the other way is false

also Hibernian to reveal ALAN SHEARER as a coach as he took the first team training not so long a go and because the post has become available with proctor heading to livingston

My girlfriends uncle is a vet in Durham and he looks after Roy Keane's dog; Triggs. Last week he was in for his parvo booster and her uncle started showing Triggs his Panini sticker album.

Jaaskelainen – wagged his tail.

Barton – growled.

Scholes – wagged his tail.

Giggs – started chasing his tail.

Heskey – started sniffing his bum.

Van Nistelrooy – jumped up and licked the vets face.

Robbie Keane – played dead.

Everton– to all efc fans who say lots of players are coming an goin. these players are the only ones leaving this summer, Andy Van Der Meyde– Nominal fee, Moyes just wants his 35, 000 wages off the bill. James Beattie–biffa hasn't worked out, basically not good enough, to be fair he does give his all and hasn't complained once, good on your James but goodbye. Wright and Pistone have been released and Gary Naysmith could head for 1 of the old firm, Moyes will keep Gary if doesn get the right offer as he sees him as valuable squad man and he won't leave if the blues don't sign a left back. Coming in– these are the players on the list– NOT all will sign–bids won't be lodged for all either.

an expierenced gk on bosman so iain Turner can be loaned out all season if gk is not signed Turner will be no 2.

RB– Luke Young, Glen Johnson

LB– Baines, Heinze

Mid–Barton, Fernandes (loan), Reo–Coker, Parker

LW–Richardson, Etherington, Barnes

St–Nugent–IF Everton buy a striker it will be Nugent only at the right price–if not they won't buy one, there better with Cahill off Johnson anyway, and they have Vaughan, anichebe Mcfadden.

Arsenal Transfers

dispite all these crazy rumours reguarding all Spains top players, Wenger is looking to stay british this summer, with the odd exception

In's: Richards – Man City

Barton – Man City

Owen – Newcastle

Ribery – Marsille

Any genuine gooner already knows who are on their way out. Henry and Cesc aren't going any where, shame about Flamini though he will be a great player.

Daniel Alves is due to fly from London – Liverpool on Saturday morning, the day after the England game at Wembley to have a medical at Liverpool. He has been given international clearance to travel away from the squad for the day and Sevilla are close to agreeing a fee.

A few occasions one meets a realist here. The other "rumours" are largely fantasies that make good comic relief. I really appreciate the person who wrote on Saturday 26 that AW won't go for names like Eto'o, Torres, etc. So observant is he to note also that AW will eventually buy someone noone ever heard of! AW hasn't been lucky with costly signings. Consider Jeffers, Reyes. He was going to buy Baptista for £17.5m before he chose to go to Real. See what would have happened! He promised to buy 1 or 2 "special" players though. I reckon he has in mind primarily a versatile player that can play wide on any of the wings. Ribery qualifies for that&I think he wouldn't mind him for £15m. Babel is a right footed left winger who also plays in the centre. I feel he will easily adapt to the right wing too. Again he qualifies. If however, he sells Freddie along with the ones already certain, he may have to get a 3rd person– most likely an experienced person. Tuncay on a Bossman? But its AW we're talking about; he may ignore all these names and go for someone we've never heard about– from Luxembourg, Colombia or Taiwan

Manchester United Rumours – It seems that Dimitar Berbatov will be moving to Old Trafford subject to a giant bid involving approximately £25 million and Louis Saha. Spurs and United have agreed a deal where Spurs would be allowed to purchase Gareth Bale without battling for his signature with United, but would have to accept any offer United made for Berbatov within reason. Furthermore Martin Jol is desperate to clinch the signing of Sporting Lisbon's Nani. With £10 mill already gone the transfer kitty is looking a bit threadbare and an extra £25 mill without the need to search for a new striker would be perfect. As such, Jol will accept the offer and will move for Nani. Ps Great rumours on here, although Ricardo Quaresma plays for FC Porto, not Sporting Lisbon ;)

You have got to love some of the grammar, spelling and general idiocy on this site. I mean Rafa Benitez "virbeualy" agreeing a transfer, and Aston Villa playing a "4–4–3" formation, how seriously do you expect anyone to take your "rumours" if you cannot spell Nugent? (It's one "g" not two;) ) Moving on, I believe that this year will see a low key transfer market, with very few major stars moving, especially not to the Premiership as Liverpool, Man United etc. fans would have us believe. Nevertheless some very certain transfers are Andrade on loan or at a knockdown price to Chelsea and Gaby Milito to Barcelona. And no Klos is not joining Hibs, he is retiring. love, Franco Baresi

With the takeover of Manchester City set to be completed by the end of the week Juande Ramos will be named as manager following the completion of the Spanish season. Ramos will make major changes and will be given 50m to spend. He will look to bring with him Christian Poulsen and Fredi Kanoute and will also attempt to bring in Saviola and Van Buyten.

Swindon will make a triple signing next week of Jermaine Easter from Wycombe and Lee frecklington of Lincoln and also dan gosling of Plymouth.

Transfers in

Fabianski– Done Deal

Jeremy Briand– 3–4 million– Wenger likes him

R. Van der Vaart– 7 mill– done well for Hamburg

Zapater– 5–6 mill– good signing

Iulian Ochirosii– 1–2 mill– player from Steaua

This is about 20 million pounds spent for Wenger.

Transfers Out–

Baptista– Real Madrid (end of loan)

Reyes– Athletico or Real Betis 10–15 mill

Ljungberg– back to Sweden– Free

Flamini– PSG– 3–4 mill

90% certain to sign Robbie Fowler along with Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink with Forsell leaving to bring experience.

Eto'o wants to leave Barca to go to the Reds but Barca want a huge offer around 30–40 million for him.

Wesley Sneijder is NOT going to villa, he is going to Munich most likely, but they are going to sign Cook from QPR and Bobo Balde.

bye for now– Jonathan

West Ham set to pay £7 million plus Marlon Harewood for Charlton's Darren Bent (who will be new number 10 at Upton Park) .

West Ham are also selling Nigel Reo Coker and replacing him with Scott Parker, whether this I will be a swap I am not sure, it depends where Reo Coker wants to go.

The only other signing will be Nickey Shorey of Reading for £5 million. This is due to the almost certain departure of Konchesky.

Also to leave the Hammers are Carroll, Newton, Sheringham, Mears, Katan, and most annoyingly Anton Ferdinand =/

If Giles Barnes does decide to leave Derby in the summer, it will be for West Ham, where his father Bobby was a favourite in the 80's. Also joining us in the next few weeks will be Mark Viduka, Scott Parker, Luke Young and Darren Bent. Good times ahead for the Hammers.

DARREN BENT: Newcastle, Spurs, Man United or Liverpool

SCOTT PARKER: Spurs or Arsenal

NICKEY SHOREY: Newcastle, Liverpool or may stay.

GILES BARNES: Will stay put dispite a lot of interest.

MARK VIDUKA: Stays put, Liverpool, Newcastle, Arsenal or Blackburn.

LUKE YOUNG: At last a realistic WH target, although there are questions as to his relationship with Curbs.

Charlton are planning for life in the Championship and will sell Darren Bent and Luke Young to the highest bidders. Kishishev and Marcus Bent are also set to be sold, along with Darren Ambrose. Alex Song is going back to Arsenal and will probably sign for Reading for £2m.

Charlton will then follow the signings of Iwelumo and Varney by signing Darren Purse, Kevin Nicholls and David Unsworth to add beef to the side. They also need a goalkeeper, and will sign Carlo Nash as their keeper.

Addicks fans can expect their team to lool like this next season:

Nash, Sankofa, Purse, Unsworth, Thatcher, Sam, Nicholls, Holland, Thomas, Varney, Iwelumo.

Billy Sharp has 3 choises PNE Sheff W and Wolves

he would never go to sheff w he can do better than that an Wolves r better than PNE an we hav got Andy Keogh his former strike partner at sunthorpe.

however if we don't get him we may be in for Freddy Eastwood who I'm confident we would get

We are also linked with Arsenal youngster jereme Aliadiere wen he came to us on loan last time he said that he never wants to come to a champiopnship team ever again he may be persuaded to but the chances are slim

Stockport centre back any Williams will probably cum but only if Stockport accept the offer Wolves are willing to pay them no more than 900k though

wes hoolihan who was on loan to Blackpool this seson (from livingston) has also been linked with us livingston obliousley don't want him because they wudnt of loaned him out we would probably get him but Blackpool may put a bid in and he may accept as they r now in the same division as us

kris commons of notts forest is another target the manager has said that he would be delighted if he pledged his future to th club but I think we could get him

another player who we hav been linked with is Roy o'donnovan I don't no much about him but he plays in ireland and he's a forward–mayb another Stephen ward?

There has been a lot of speculation going around Liverpool. They have confirmed the signing of Simao for 12.5m and Lahm Bayern for 12. 75m. There will be 3 other signings from LaLiga which will be completed in 2 weeks. Inside Information. S4

Goalkeeper David Marshall has decided to leave Celtic now that Artur Boruc is staying on. His likely destination is Norwich, where he was on loan last season. Norwich scouts in Poland have also been checking out highly rated Polonia Bytom midfield schemer Jaroslaw Kupis, who has also been recommended to Southampton by their Polish striker and former team–mate, Marek Saganowski.

Arsenal Bulletin

With AFC set 2 losse 3 of it's players due 2 the African nations cup which is from 20 January to 10 February, don't expect Mark Randall or Matthew Connolly 2 go out on loan . Expect Freddie 2 leave AFC as AFC feel he hasn't done enough 2 deserve the 70,000 a week salery ha earns from AFC . And AFC target Sporting Lisbons Joao Moutinho will not be moving 2 AFC as he's signed a new 6 year deal .

From my inside source and from knowledge gleaned from other clubs and their interests, speculation can be ended about the follwing player, who will not be coming to The Emirates: Tevez, Villa, Eto'o, Babel, Gordon, Reo–Coker and Shorey.

Players in: Fabianski (finalised), Torres (15m + Reyes), Micah Richards (10m) and Eric Abidal (6m), Ribery (10m + Flamini)

Wenger will be given 30m from the board and raise further funds from sale of the following players:

Players out: Ljungberg (6m Inter Milan), Reyes (Atletico Madrid), Flamini (Marseille), Hoyte (Sunderland, possible loan), Jeremie Aliadiere (Derby).

These will be the major moves over the summer. There will be more small money tranfers for both the reserves and youth temas respectively.

To the guy that said Chelsea are in talks with "Sporting Lisbon" over Ricardo Quaresma. impossible considering the fact he plays for FC Porto. I'm a NUFC fan and the only rumour I have heard is that SA is considering Making a bid for Alou Diarra.

CARLOS TEVEZ will sign for 23mil from West Ham. He is their player so money will go directly to them. Rafa has chosen him as he is now proven in the Premiership and will take minimal time to settle down. Rafa feels that even at 23mil, Carlos is a bargain.

RAFAEL VANDER VAART will sign for 7mil. He was not originally going to sign, but Valencia are pushing for a 6mil bid for Luis Garcia, and Benitez feels that for that price, Luis can leave. Rafael can play in all of the positions of Garcia and is a lot more consistent too.

ALFONSO ALVES. He will be given much time to settle in as Liverpool will have 5 strikers next season. He won't feature a lot, but Rafa knows he scores goals for fun and is confident of him doing the same in England. He could either be a bargain at 8mil or a complete failure. He will cost 8mil

GABRIEL MILITO will join soon for 13mil. Rafa needs more competition at CB as Hyypia is not pushing Agger and Carragher any more. Milito is experienced and will do just that. However there is a chance that Rafa won't spend 13mil on him and if he doesn't, KALADZE is his next choice. He will be cheaper (6mil) and can also play on the left as a more defensive option to Riise and Fabio.

MANUEL ALMUNIA will be a shock signing. He will sign for 1mil as Arsenal have Fabianski for cover. Rafa wants an experienced keeper on the bench to cover for Reina and Almunia would rather do that at Liverpool than Arsenal due to the many Spaniards.

DANIEL ALVES. The long awaited transfer. He will join for a big price tag–around 16mil but he gives Rafa lots of options as he can play at RM and at RB. Expect to see him more at RM though.

ANDREI VORONIN has already signed on a free just to fill the squad. He has a lot of experience even if he does not have quality in abundance.

LUCAS LEIVA has already signed for 8mil. He plays in midfield, holding or attacking. He will play the same ROLE as Sissoko, in the middle, going forward and sitting back. However, do not expect him to play too much next season with Stevie, Xabi, Masch and Momo filling those places.

YOUTH will join in Abundance. Liverpool have already signed a Hungarian pair and Sebastian Leto. JACOB MELLIS from Sheffield United is a target as are MATA from Real Madrid and NATHAN PORITT from Middlesbrough. There will be many more as well.

RESERVE TEAM: some players from the reserve will make occasional appearances especially in the Carling cup. These will be Hobbs, Insua, Anderson, Guthrie, El Zhar, Lindfield and Hamill. This is of course if they don't go out on loan (most of them will)

Leaving will be:

Craig Bellamy (8mil) not in plans; Djibril Cisse (6mil) not in plans; Luis Garcia (6mil) good offer; Mark Gonzalez (5mil) not in plans; God, Bolo, Dudek (Frees) out of contract; F. S. Pongolle (2.7mil) not in plans; A. Le Tallec (0.5mil) not in plans; Scott Carson (5mil) won't sit on the bench.

For the approximate figure of 70mil on signings, about 30mil will be recouped from departures. Milito and Alves signings could take longer than some rumours papers suggested due to the Spanish season going on for another 3 weeks.

Squad next season:

Pepe/ Almunia;Finnan/ Arbeloa;Carra/ Milito/ Agger/ Sami;Riise/ Fabio;Pennant/ Alves;Stevie/ Xabi/ Masch/ Momo/ Lucas;Kewell/ VDV/ Leto;Tevez/ Kuyt/ Crouch/ Voronin/ Alves

Players not joining: Silva (would cost 40mil) Villa (would cost 45mil) Torres (would cost 27mil–hit or miss) Eto'o (will stay at Barce as they will demand 35mil) Henry (lol) Kaka (lool)

Newcastle United are ready to make a 17mill bid for Klaas–Jan Huntelaar, the only way this won't happen by the end of next week is if Sherpard doesn't sell his shares.

Owen will also be sold to Liverpool for 6mill plus Hyypia. Though only if Klaas–Jan Huntelaar agrees to sign.

Walcott is a striker and Wenger signed him as as striker and how many has he scored? look at the Actim. Walcott has lost the dazzle that surrounded him when he was at So'ton, Lennon far better player.

Arsenal and United both wanted Bale that's why Giggs was involved in trying to lure Bale to OT whilst both players were on international duties.

Arsenal simply don't spend big on players and with the stupid amount of foreigners in the squad a british player would simply feel isolated Wenger doesn't like British talent (how many have thy got) ?.

To an interesting rumour though in which I have heard when he is fit again expect a bid from Bolton for the king Jimmy Bullard (most underated player in England) .

And now to the lower leagues, I use to play in the same boys team with Matt Jarvis of Gillingham and went on a lads holiday to Kavos with him 2 years ago and a deal is expected to be struck between Gillingham and Charlton in the region of 500k seeing Matt quadruple his wages of around 5k a week.

Joe Jacobson, Cardiff City's Welsh U21 Internatational is being chased by several clubs. The left sided player who can play at left back or left midfield helped Bristol Rovers to promotion whilst on loan.

To The Arsenalnal fan fan who said that Wallcott has more assists than Lennon sort it out. Lennon has 8 in the league and Wallcott only has 3. Plus Lennon also got assists in all the cups aswell. Wallcott spent most of the time warming the bench. a snip at 12 million!

Spurs to sign Kaboul, Petrov and Bent, going out will be gardener (at last) ghaly, lee, Murphy, mido, also heard a rumour that Sissoko might be coming in!

Sheffield Wednesday rumours: To sell Chris Brunt&to sign Julian Grey from Birmingham (free)&Kenwyne Jones from Southampton.

Liverpool are currently in talks with Argentinian side Godoy Cruz to sign their 19 year old wonder boy Cristiano Ardilla.

Arsenal to sign :

fabianski, Ribery, and a center back because Senderos is gone. also Wenger is interested in thiago motta from Barcelona although he may be more of a central midfielder than a defender.

Rangers Truths

Sionko will sign for St Etienne for 1.2million, however contrary to the papers, pascal fendiouno will not go in the other direction.

McColluch will be signed by the end of the week, along with a loan deal for deMarcus Beasley.

Koevermans will not be signed as he is seen as similar mould to boyd (albeit better control)

Smith will use remaining budget on a right and left back as cover and another winger, and Smith has identified Julien Jenner as an option – this boy caught his eye recently playing for AZ Alkmaar and has been recommended by adverladze, and at only 22 he will command only 1mill.

Are you kids done with your football manager type rumours?

Reading ARE NOT going to sign half these players you read about. The price of David Nugent would bring in 3 quality Coppell signings for gods sake!

So rather than tell you who we will sign, because I really couldn't tell you and nor can the next post on here, I will tell you who I've been told recently that we're keen on "at the right price. "

Curtis Davies if we can get the price down. WBA are talking silly money though.

Giles Barnes, but not likely if Derby go up.

Phil Jagielka if Sheffield United make their price a sensible one.

Emerse Fae looks a good bet apparently.

James Beattie has been mentioned but it's all down to wages. A fee apparently agreed.

I have a cousin that is friends with Craig gordon

who has dropped hints that rival hibernian full back Steven whitaker is going ti tiny castle also if Jason Scotland doenst get his work permit he is going ti tiny castle aswell

also Hearts to sign DumBarton wonderkid ROSS MCPHEE for 15 k

Wolves are set to complete the deal for Billy Sharp once he gets back of holiday for around £2.3m. they are also showing interest in Freddy Eastwood. for midfielders, McCarthy is looking at Wes Hollahan from Blackpool and Jermaine Beckford from Leeds. in defense they are looking at Craig Moore and Stockport's Ashley Williams.

Rangers are looking to bring in about 8 new players in total with a good few leaving as well

Expect to see some of the youth players breaking into the first team as well. Stephen Lennon and once he is old enough the excelent son of Robert Fleck, John Fleck who if the rules allowed he would have featured THIS season

Glasgow Celtic's feeder side, the small Edinburgh outfit Hibernian have further shocks in store for their fans. Despite banking £4.4 million from the sale of Scott Brown their talismanic goalkeeper Zibi Malkowski has been linked with a £1.5 million transfer to Sunderland in the summer.

To the Numpty suggesting AVFC only have a limited budget of £12M to £15M I quote Richard Fitzgerald the CEO of Aston Villa. "Significant funds are available to Martin O'Neill to strengthen the team in whichever area he sees fit – furthermore it would be wrong to comment on the transfer budget" The new owners didn't come to Villa Park to leave the club loitering in mid table, they genuinely want to take them forwards and realise that it will take heavy investment. In fact a deal was done by "Deadly" Doug Ellis and Randy "Top Man" Lerner which meant Lerner paid "Bottom Dollar" for the club (George Hicks the now Liverpool owner actually offered more than Randy Lerner) in return for heavy investment. Martin's fully aware that the David Villa's / Fernando Torres / Samuel Eto's won't be joining Villa at present as we're not top 4 material yet, but in the next few seasons we will be ! From what I can gather the current targets include :

Scot Carson or Craig Gordon

Phil Jagielka or Luke Young

Wesley Sniejder

Matthew Taylor

Nigel Reo Coker or Manuel Fernandes

Darren Bent

Fred (of Lyon)

This lot would cost in region £40M and the money is there.

The Villan of Aston.

To the person who said Quasamera plays for Sporting Lisbon he plays for Porto and was seen outside the San Siro.

Hearts are about to announce 3 signings. One of them is definetly Chris Burke of Rangers for a fee of 625K. Hearts also had a bid of £1.3 million for Stevie Naismith turned down by Kilmarnock who are holding out for £2 million. Hearts will not be persuing this.

The two other signings in the latter stages of completion are are Barry Robson of Dundee United and

Steven Fletcher from Hibs.

All to be announced in the next 10 days just prior to launch of the new home strip.

To the guy who said Spurs beat Arsenal to bale, you're wrong. Wenger didn't want Bale in the first place as he doesn't spend mindlessly like MJ. As for transfer rumours, Ribery, Quaresma and Babel won't be joining. Wenger will go for Lyon winger Florent Malouda for 7mil pounds. Rosicky is on his way out to Inter for 11mil pounds.

Let's not be silly about a mass exodus from Bolton Wanderers. It won't happen and not for the prices quoted or to the clubs that have been mentioned. A lot of the Bolton players respect Sammy Lee more than they ever did Big Sam and but for the exception of Tal Ben–Haim the rest of the team will stay more or less the same in 07/ 08. Anelka will stay another year at least and the club won't sell Jaaskelainen, Davies or Nolan unless it's for big money.

Expect Sammy to move for Fowler (free), Hyypia (if he leaves Anfield), Michael Brown (he will test the water with a £2m bid), Jagielka (Everton appear to be winning the chase however)

I'm the guy who said DISTIN was coming to Liverpool first. I'm annoyed that Harry had the nerve to say we tried to hijack his bid when it was HE who underhandedly hijacked OURS Anyway mu can definately expect a good CB to join pool.

Rangers are set for a double swoop from Man United. Alan Smith and Darren Fletcher will be sent up north in a 7 million pound deal.
