Coventry City have told defenders Richard Wood, Nathan Cameron and Jordan Stewart, midfielder Danny Philliskirk and striker Stephen Elliott, that their contracts will not be renewed upon expiry this summer.

Callum Ball and James Bailey will return to Derby when their loan deals run out, as will Aaron Martin to Southampton. Manager Steven Pressley is however, waiting to see the situation regarding Aaron Martin, in the hope of arranging another deal for next season.

Rumours on our end (from Southampton) seem to be indicating that Aaron Martin will be joining you on a permanent deal in the summer to get him off the books at Southampton.

Really poor from Pressley. Aaron Martin was terrible at Cov and Bailey was excellent. Not sure what his thinking is here.

Please god no,,,,, he's tripe

No thanks to both!

Pope is a Vale fan would never leave

I love the way you can tell by a posters writing style that they are getting their info from Football Manager.

Crawley boss Richie Barker is hoping to bring Bury's Steven Schumacher and David Worrall to the Broadfield Stadium. Barker will also be taking a closer look at Bilel Mohsni in pre-season, with the versatile Southend player out of contract in the summer.

30 Apr 2013 07:56:17
Barker very close to signing jermain beckford could happen in the next few weeks. Beckford will be the biggest player crawley have ever signed

30 Apr 2013 18:13:02
Barker pictured with jermain beckford club are currently in talks about wages

I'm a Crawley fan and would love a player like Beckford but seriously doubt it. He is a championship player on championship wages. {Ed003's Note - He's a championship player on prem wages lol.}

01 May 2013 16:46:57
He is coming to crawley barker keeps meeting with him to discuss wadges

02 May 2013 14:25:05
Beckford to be revealed to crawley fans shortly after signing a three year deal. You heard it here first!

Beckford playing in league one when he can join a championship team, your having a laugh

29 Apr 2013 21:20:15
Arsenal to sign some lower league talent this summer. The targets include:
Max Clayton-Crewe
Nathaniel Chalobah-Chelsea
Will Hughes-Derby
George Long-Sheffield United
Matt LeCointe-Plymouth Argyle

Well I can confirm this is rubbish.

Hughes will either be a no, or will cost you a fair bit as signed a new contract on april 18th till 2016, be around £6mill

6Million? If zaha is 12M then Hughes will be the same or more.

BIG NEWS! Argyle reserve player to join Arsenal. :L

01 May 2013 08:15:10
I posted this rumour and none of this is rubbish, I bet half of you don't even know who these players are!

01 May 2013 08:17:42
These only say rumours guys, he doesn't mean Arsenal are going to sign them all.

29 Apr 2013 21:10:21
Charlie Austin and his girlfriend are unsettled in the north and do not hide this. Charlie however will not join Bournemouth as they refuse to meet the 7 million asking price

Whether or not the Bournemouth story is true, I doubt that a player with just one year of his contract to go who has had a very short Championship career would command a realistic £7m fee when he would walk for free. Burnley would need to cash in realistically.

01 May 2013 15:42:44
Not worth 7 million. More like 1. 5 as he only has 12 months left so a Bournemouth deal could be on the cards. Wages might be a block?

29 Apr 2013 21:19:14
With Frank Fielding leaving Derby in the summer Clough has been watched 4 out of contract goalkeepers.

1. Matt Gilks
2. Karl Ikeme
3. Luke Steele
4. Lee Grant

Steele looks most likely!

From a M'boro fan I rate adam legzdins think he is a great keeper don't no why derby would want to go out and buy a new number one

Matt gilks is not out of contract

Legzdins is the worst goalkeeper in the Championship.

Worst keeper? LOL You haven't seen him at all.

Legzdins is not a good keeper, he does not command his area well, also the derby defence seems a lot more comfortable with Fielding behind them.

30 Apr 2013 18:38:46
Hope they get rid of another of our keepers - Deeney

29 Apr 2013 20:59:57
fulham interested in taarabt (old friend of martin jols)
granero and m'bia
also interested in weimann and diame

30 Apr 2013 09:36:13
Weimann the only one good enough and he's going top 6

29 Apr 2013 20:57:21
Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew to Fulham. Deal VERY close to happening with FFC trying their very best to get the deal done. Nothing certain but Fulham very keen.

Is this a special offer, buy one get one free. I've never heard of the Ayew brothers.

29 Apr 2013 20:43:11
John Sheridan will sign a 2 year contract at Plymouth within 10 days, he and james brent are going to work out a budget worthy of getting automatic promotion. Neil Warnock's arrival will be put on hold for a few weeks until JS has his own backroom staff in place.

As for transfers, players like Jake Hyde from Barnet and Ricky Holmes could be on the shopping list, Danny Whittaker and Neal Trotman could arrive from chesterfield on free's, and Marvin Morgan or Marvin Elliot could also bolster attacking options

Mark crossley to join up up with js

29 Apr 2013 20:30:23
If Yeovil win the League 1 play-offs Gary Johnson will target Bristol City winger Joe Bryan and Plymouth Argyle captain Conor Hourihane as his main transfer targets.
Other players on their way out of Home Park (Plymouth) include;
Jake Cole and Oni Bhasera - Walsall
Luke Young - Huddersfield Town
With almost all other out of contract players being released with John Sheridan at the helm of a complete overhaul of players as he looks to target promotion next season.

Picking up players from a nearly relegated side for L1, makes sense - COYG

Bryan is highly rated in Bristol and is worth a big amount of money. A terrible team like you won't get him!

Well city got relegated and are in the same division as Yeovil so you can't say there terrible

Joe bryan wil not be coming bck to plymouth as much as I wuld like him to keep an eye out for my comments everyone. for you who go to argyle you will no that tower cabs are a big sponser of plymouth and my uncle co own them he pays 40,000 a year for the mike bickle suite and presented the trophies at the pfa awards night to john sheridan and conor hourihane. he often chooses an of the match (i was there when he chose purse against wycombe) he told me he chose purse because it was gna b his final home game and that gurned out to be right. I will b giving plymouth fans accurate signings. elliot benyon being looked at. any one that don't believe me on this are more then welcome to have my fb page to see the pics of purse in ike bickle suite and pfa award night at argyle pyramid suite.

Rumour Submitted

When we had Gary Johnson one of the key features of our promotion year was him going around league 1 and 2 and buying small clubs captains.

He filled our side with hungry leaders and it worked a treat.

As for Joe Bryan, I fully expect him to be in our first choice 16 next year, and if Cunningham or Pearson leave he will be a starter.

With so many players having to be let go, letting someone like Joe go would cause uproar with the fans.

29 Apr 2013 20:16:19
Carlisle forward Mathieu Manset is being linked with a move to fellow league one side Walsall after his release from Brunton park

29 Apr 2013 19:48:37
Portsmouth's first signing of the summer will be cheltenhams Marlon Pack

29 Apr 2013 21:52:17
Pack said today he wants to prove himself in a higher division, so he won't stay in L2 especially if Cheltenham go up, otherwise he will be off to Swindon or Gillingham.

Not likely as Pompey are only expected to sign Free transfers for the foreseeable future

30 Apr 2013 06:57:25
pompeys 1st signing will be Charlie Sheringham after Bournemouth released him yesterday he will score them goals

Why do people make these stories up?

Yes one day Pack will no doubt play for Portsmouth, however the fact he is currently at a team that could be, and should be in League One next season (they have been playing very impressively this season).
Why, as a footballer, would you want to drop down a division and spend another season in League 2, when he will be offered deals by the likes of Derby and Bournemouth who play in The Championship?

Although this story is false, Pack is from Portsmouth fan, Born and bred.

29 Apr 2013 19:38:10
Man city set to make lucrative offers for youth academy players the Murphy twins to bring them into city's ever growing youth team that already contains former Norwich youth player Angus gunn

Typical Norwich selling off our best prospects

We're category 1 now so clubs can't come into our club and pick and choose our young talent.

Both Murphy twins have signed pro contracts so will have to be proper offers to Norwich first-which i'm sure will be thrown out of the door!!

29 Apr 2013 19:24:48
Port Vale are going to bolster there defence by signing outgoing Coventry defender Richard Wood, the defender is well known to chairman Paul Wildes who's a Sheffield Wednesday fan.

30 Apr 2013 06:55:28
Probably true as he's been released

Jordan Rhodes will be joining Reading if Blackburn go down and if Blackburn stay up he could still go to Reading but there would be a smaller chance. {Ed003's Note - Blackburn won't go down.}

Not on £30k a week wages he won't be. !

But he will definately be going regardless. probably to west ham reports suggest.

Says he is happy to stay

Actuall reading could easily afford 30k, we have a millionaire russian owner who has support from his dad who is a billionaire. Also pogrebnyak is on 60k a week so yeah.

He might not want to play for a club owned by Venky's. Now I actually know Jordan Rhodes and before he moved to Blackburn told me he would be interested in moving to Reading had they put in a firm offer. They didn't and Blackburn came in.

We may be in your league but think we are more likely to go straight back up. And we have millions from january not spent burning a whole in our pocket. So if we come calling he may want to leave you for us

Rotherham have agreed a 1 year deal with Jason Walker following his release by York

No they havent! Quote from walker "But as far as I'm aware there hasn't been any contact yet. "

29 Apr 2013 18:48:41
Rotherham looking to bring in 2 strikers. One on the cheap (either Grimes of Rochdale or Cureton of Exeter who are both out of contract). The other will be for a considerable fee and is likely to be David Goodwillie of Blackburn or Tyrone Barnett of Peterbrough

29 Apr 2013 18:46:46
Rotherham united considering a bid for Southend versatility man Bilel Mohnsi

Please have him good riddance to a bad smell

Wigan and Swansea are both keen on signing former celtic winger Aiden Mcgeady who currently plays for Spartak Moscow.

He says he wants to go back to celtic

No he hasn't.

He said it after the celtic v spartak game, google it?

Miku (is that spelt correctly) has come out saying he isn't happy at Celtic some time ago and likes the thought of a challenge in the UK. Miku and Michu might get a bit confusing for commentators but possibly a very nice and threatening combination - surprised this hasn't been mentioned previously!

Miku was linked in the summer with Swansea but opted for Celtic?

Miku - no chance. He isn't good enough. A failure in Celtic. Besides he turned his back on Swansea, so all bridges are burned. Miku is a very overrated player, who has no chance of getting success in the PL when he cannot play well in the SPL.

Googled it and there is no evidence saying he wants to go back to Celtic so get your facts right.

Miku was mentioned previously, linked with the Swans last summer, can't get a game in Scotland so no chance for the Premiership

He turned down the swans to go to celtic. hasn't done much in scotland so don't expect him to do much in the premier league. we've already got one usless forward in Schecter so no thanks.

Rodgers was a failure before he came to us, then he was a genius when with us and now, well, enough said!

Don't know how or why but the club seem to manage to get the absolute best out of the majority on the pay roll, always seems to happen for some strange reason.

I think the same would happen with Miku and yes he opted for a LOAN move to Celtic over us or Reading but I don't think that means he's burnt his bridges by any means! Sinclair has burnt his bridges, Rodgers, Martinez, De Vries, Pratley and probably Allen are also included in the list fairly recent bridge burners but Miku has never even had a contract with us to turn his back on the club, he just made a move he felt at the time would most benefit his career, just seems to be the wrong one. Anyone in the same boat would do the same, like the bridge burners listed above, they all thought they were moving onto bigger and better things (pay days!) and look how it's working out for them.

29 Apr 2013 18:27:41
Shrewsbury set to sign Blackburn striker David Goodwillie.

29 Apr 2013 18:12:51
Stevenage set to sign Oxford United right back Damian Batt. The player is Westley's former player and is likely to sign after the two clubs announce there retained list later this week.

Strong possibility I'm afraid. Could well have played his last game for us. Also lives in London. Will do well for you if you get him but hope he is retained

29 Apr 2013 18:01:00
Bournemouth are ready to make a move for Charlie Austin, they are ready to offer £4million as he is in the last year of his contract. It depends whether Charlie wants to stay up north and possibly go to the Premier League or come back down South to a Championship club who are better than Burnley.

Have released Sheringham. Looking at Aden Flint and Lewis Dunk who has been recommended by Tommy Elphick. Karl Henry is also a possibility

29 Apr 2013 20:15:03
Better than Burnley, don't talk peanuts

Austin won't be going to a team that has only just come up

Also he is worth 7 million pal, if he goes it will be to a Prem club

Wouldn't his wages be like 20k a week I'm sure eddie has other options in finding the next star from the lower league

If AFC Bournemouth had Charlie Austin and Brett Pitman up front, We would come out fighting at every match. Now where is the Russian's cheque book?

I know Bournemouth are looking at him but I imagine one of the championship clubs going for promotion would be in for him. Somebody like a Leicester or QPR. I did here today that Bournemouth are tracking Roger Johnson should wolves go down. Again this is another local lad and again I imagine he would go to somebody bigger

Eddie Howe while being interviewed last week was asked if Charlie Austin was in his plans for next season. He refused to comment. That's a classic Eddie reply

We will not get Lewis Dunk, Elphick may have recommended him but I doubt we could meet his ambitions, see him playing Priemer League in a couple of season, and in all fairess we are not likely to be in the priemer league within a couple of years.

29 Apr 2013 22:31:16
Charlie won't be going to Bournemouth, that is for certain, they won't be able to pay the fee required, nor would he want to when they is a good chance he will be at a bigger club.

Stranger things have happened.
. remember Matt Ritchie?!

01 May 2013 15:45:53
No one believed we could afford Eddie & JT back. ;)

Charlie austin will not leave for little Bournemouth! The same as Eddie Howe and Jason tindall will not leave for little bournem. Oh wait a minute. Mmmmm

No burnley fans said eddie and jason wouldn't leave for bournemouth, infact I think you will find most claret fans were glad to see the back ov them, out of their depth in the championship and eddie needs to grow a pair of balls. Little man with a little voice!

We've got money, good young group of players, a lot more potential than burnley, only problem is that his agents a dick.

29 Apr 2013 17:54:02
tom ince signed a 1 year contract extension on friday but has not been released from club i'm a fan and he told me himself

29 Apr 2013 17:41:28
Neil Harris from Southend to Gillingham if his injury clears up in time to allow full pre-season traing.

29 Apr 2013 22:00:05
What rubbish, forecast is contracted to Southampton hasn't hardly featured for gills this season and is regarded by some as the worst keeper in the the football league, seems a bit unlikely then that derby would pay nearly a million for him! Zola is no spring chicken so a fee of 100000 seems moe likely

29 Apr 2013 21:49:42
Ridiculous. He's far too old now, and he'd never stand the pace again. We've got one oldish player in Burton who has been excellent, but we don't need another, especially as now Cody is all but back

30 Apr 2013 11:37:59
What are you on about? No-where in this rumour is Forecast mentioned! Its about Neil Harris going from Southend to Gillingham, which won't happen anyway as Harris is getting old and as a Southend fan, he wants to finish his career at the club!

29 Apr 2013 17:34:39
Now Jeffery Schlupp has joined Man. you and gone to Leicester on loan Watford and Blackburn are in the race to get him on loan next season.

He hasn't joined Manchester United and is still a leicester player

Good try Schlupp still Leicester player

What is he talking about?

If, as likely, Leicester are not promoted, he will be either loaned out

We never even sold him to Man United he just had a 3 week trial that's all he's very much still a lcfc player.

29 Apr 2013 17:30:56
notts are after out of favour derby midfeilder james bailey as a replacement for championship bound alan judge source tv

Judge is more of an attacking player James Bailey will never score ever.

He is an out and out CDM that plays in front of the back four and loves to pass the ball.

A great player he would be for Notts County however not a replacement for Alan Judge very very different players.

29 Apr 2013 17:30:26
Arsenal to sign Will Hughes and Chalobah from Derby and Chelsea

Hughes, there is competition from Man City who have sent scouts to watch him genuinely, no made up rubbish. David Platt himself came to watch against Brighton.

Manchester United were heavily interested after he had an unreal game vs Manchester United in the FA youth cup however their interest has gone down recently.

Barcelona created a Dossier on him and became under their youth scouting umbrella.

None of this is made up honest facts. I think a bidding war would commence starting at 7 million. Who will make the first move remains to be seen?

I think that is a fair assement of Hughes. It is a difficult one, do we sell when we have the chance a la Dean Sturridge, or try and build a team around him and try and get promotion.

29 Apr 2013 17:22:27
Chelsea looking to sign Mario Gomez and Robben for a deal of 87 Million for the 2 together.

With Mourinho they win league

29 Apr 2013 17:16:56
notts county are targeting out of contract carlisle striker lee miller and should carlisle lose him they will target former striker francois joko from notts

Sorry guys I meant zoko

I could see zoko back at Carlisle tbh but if miller leaves it will be for Scotland

29 Apr 2013 16:58:05
Derby County ins and outs

Ins:

C. Zola (Burton Albion) £850,000
Phillips (Burton Albion)£600,000
Forecast (Gillingham)£920,000
K. Doyle (Woolverhampton) £2 Million

Forecast is only on loan at Gillingham from Southampton. If Derby want him then the fee you seem to think they would pay is far too high. Personally I wouldn't give 92 pence for him. he's that bad that he got sent back from a non league club after 2 games and letting in 11 goals

Where have cash strapped derby got that money from and C. Zola isn't worth Jack Lesters Bootlaces never mind 850,000

What about the out's?

I will reply to this properly when I've stopped laughing. Seriously though. Zola, not Championship standard, Phillips has been in and out of the team at the Brewers, both over priced anyway. Clough has stated the positions he wants to fill and GK isn't one of them. and as for Doyle two things wrong with this, Derby will not spend £2m on one player and his wages are far far far higher than Derbys wage budget.

Forecast really? 1. Not Gillingham's player (On loan from Southampton) 2. Nicknamed the worst keeper in the football league 3. Nearly a million? If this happens Derby are crazy!

29 Apr 2013 21:55:55
Forecast will be released from Southampton as he's only on loan at Gills. £920,000, more likely £9. 20. Your decimal point is in the wrong place

Hmmm I don't thinks so.

What a lot of rubbish!
Zola is out of contract, so there's no fee to be paid!

None of this is true, Zola and Phillips are not the Burton players Derby are chasing, seems like they like the look of Maghoma, but unlikely a move will be made, Forecast is on loan and Derby are shipping keeps out not bringing them in and as for Doyle, £2million is really wrong, and Derby are not interested, he's not quick, and also he is to old for what Derby are trying to build.

29 Apr 2013 16:53:59
My mate heard JP MCGovern heading to Bristol Rovers

Your mate? I swear all rumours start with 'My mate'.

29 Apr 2013 16:51:21
argyle are ready to take advantage of relegation clauses in 3 players contracts; they plan to sign peter vincenti from aldershot town and jake hyde ricky holmes from barnet. The club are also ready to exploit some unknown talent from the conference by signing a creative midfielder from one of the teams unlikely to be promoted. a couple of defenders are also being suggested from league 1

29 Apr 2013 16:48:35
Deal to be struck between Russell Martin and Darren bent. Norwich only willing to offer 5 million but villa are holding out for a lot more so he may end up in Germany says his agent.

Are you saying RM 5m for bent?
no thanks very much, Norwich would be getting ripped off.

Russell Martin won't leave norwich

Haha god this is hilarious. Russ is twice the player Bent is. Bent 5m then we'l talk!

29 Apr 2013 16:46:23
Kevin Doyle to norwich for 1.5 million

Hope not! we already have got enough forwards who can't score

A Big NO THANKS!!

29 Apr 2013 16:22:47
MK DONS are to sign Sanchez Watt on loan from Arsenal next season.

You'll have a helluva job taking him on loan as he is being releasedby the Gunners!

So we can get him on a free then, even better.

30 Apr 2013 19:18:10
shame he's already signed pre contract at colchester

He is not a good player

29 Apr 2013 16:33:09
James Vaughn set to snub a move to Huddersfield after Leeds are showing increasing interest in the Norwich striker and are believed to make an offer as soon as the window opens.

So the relationship is now turning into the players norwich have no use for (moro, drury (best player they've gotten/will get from us, now vaughan) and we get their best?

Let me guess. Leeds have a new investor waiting in the wings? Again.

29 Apr 2013 21:50:45
Like Bechio for instance?

29 Apr 2013 16:26:02
Seven Players Released

Neal Trotman, Craig Clay and Danny Whitaker are among seven players released by the Spireites.
Joining the trio in the end of season clear-out are Scott Boden, Jonathan Wafula, Jack Waddle and Richard O'Donnell.

New deals have been offered to out of contract pair Drew Talbot and Jacob Hazel while the futures of Mark Randall and Richard Brindley are yet to be resolved.

Alex Henshall and Conor Townsend have returned to Manchester City and Hull City respectively at the end of their loan spells at the club.

29 Apr 2013 16:24:15
Mk dons looking to improve their strike force and are bringing in Barnet youngster Jake Hyde and regular scorer in league 2 Rene Howe of Torquay who are both out of contract this summer.

I'd take them, better than Ifall McFlop any day.

Howe is going to argyle

Hyde would be good

Howe is better than that, needs to go to league one at least

Yes, MK Dons is still in League One last time I looked

Sadly this is true. And probably will be for many years unless we get relegated, which could easily happen too.

29 Apr 2013 16:20:55
With Wolves going down to league 1 this paves the way for Celtic to make a move for Kevin Doyle as he is a Championship/Premier League player and would be a good replacement for Gary Hooper who could leave in the summer to a number of premier league clubs which are lining up for him

We`'ll take Gary Hooper at Swansea. Believe he would provide that finishing touch we currently seek. Guaranteed to embrace the team, the club and the City.

This ain't as all over as people think. Wolves going to already in play offs and resting players Brighton. And Peterboro going to Palace who might still need a result themselves

29 Apr 2013 16:17:16
David goodwilie to join shrewsbury as they look to sign players for a play off push

We don't want him. We don't want players at this club who have got the wrong side of the law. We would never afford him anyway

We could afford him if we splash the cash I really hope so because they mentioned him in the awards the other night

Looking online at his stats, etc. he sounds like a good signing just depends on the money, etc.

29 Apr 2013 15:59:13
Blackburn Rovers FC looking to buy Tommy Lee at Chesterfield for 800k plus add ones which will outbid other interested Div 1 teams

Yes can see this happening. Tommy is a quality keeper and is good enough for that level. Town need the money and there has been a few changes today in backroom staff etc

No chance We have just let a back up keeper go so this is bonbed out the water

Huge Championship interest in Tommy Lee he is better than most of the premiership reserve keepers warming the benches every week.
Cheap at 1 million at that level

29 Apr 2013 15:39:45
all pompey first team players have been offered first team contracts.
jed wallace looks likley to be off to brighton, but will be loaned straight back.
players such as matt tubbs and out of contract akinfenwa, as well as mosni from southend are being considered, depending on what happens with current players
the club have pencilled in two weeks to have a press launch of the new deal and kit.

Now Plymouth are safe talks are to begin with Sheridan over an initial 2 year deal which will become a year to year rolling contract.

A lot of dead wood moved on once this has occurred

Out ( not offered deals)

Feeney
Chadwick
Lowery
Charles
Gilmartin
Wotton
Cowaen-Hall - Swindon Town

Others will be offered deals

In's

Hyde - Barnet
Tubbs - Bournemouth
Reid - Yeovil Town
Bryan - Bristol City
Worley - Oxford
Young -Aldershot
Cox - Swindon Town

in addition 2-3 young championship/premiership players to be targeted on season long loans

Further additions depend on which of the current players decide to stay

Not a chance of Plymouth getting Matt Tubbs. If he does leave Bournemouth it will be to another League One club.

No chance of getting bryan either big part of citys plans for next season

Matt tubbs will not leave neither will hughes or mcdermott but austin nyantanga and smith would be awesome signings.

Do people understand that Bryan went on loan to gain experience.

Bryan is going no where! he was only loaned out to you to gain match time ready for next season. you already know this!

Bryan will be staying at BCFC
, fact

Bryan is leaving FACT

Bryan is not leaving fact is in talk over contract extension i know i work with his dad.

Matt tubs would not leave Bournemouth to go to rotherham this season so no way will he go to plymouth

carlisle have released

Peter Murphy,
Adam Collin,
Frank Simek,
JP McGovern,
Rory Loy,
Mathieu Manset,
and Andy Welsh

The Blues have offered a two-year deal to winger Matty Robson, with one-year terms offered to Lee Miller, Josh Todd and Paul Thirlwell.

Danny Livesey's has also triggered the offer of a one-year extension.

Releasing loy and JP is a huge mistake

I agree, loy was worth another season and mcgovern has got a little class about him although his wages were maybe going to be the problem

Yes I can slightly understand the financial cost of holding on to JP, however releasing loy has left me speechless, utter shambles

Rory Fallon will go but vernon won't he is under ctract until next season

Rory Fallon will be returning to Plymouth next season

new contracts being sorted for Ben Davies and Jon Brayford to keep them for next year. Management looking also at deals for Tom Naylor, Gjokaj Hoganson and Callum Ball to keep them with the squad for another year but letting go of Doyle, Bailey and Tyson. Robinson will return to Rams team for pre-season unless he can engineer a move.

Cloughie came out today and said he wants Forsyth from Watford permanently, and hopes to conlude deals for Baptiste and Martin after last game. Targetting 'five or six players' but read into that actually hope to get 'two or three',

CM and striker next on shopping list. Whitehead and Kevin Davies.

Bailey still has a year so will command a fee. I can't confirm but from a very very good source for derby county who has a 100% record said baptiste has already had talks with derby and is waiting to sign. Clough in a recent interview snubd Whitehead and Kevin davies name was ruled out a month ago after a journalist said would you be interested after he announced he was leaving Bolton.

From the same source we have contacted both Alan judge and James Vaughan and spoken about the possibility of coming here. Clough has also hinted he likes Will grigg at Walsall and will try but a lot of competition. Also a surprise name is Murray Davidson from Spl who is our tall cente mid target

29 Apr 2013 14:03:41
Both Man United and City will buy and sell a strikers.
United will buy Lewandowski, but a cut down prices (final year of his contract), however would offer Chicharito as part of the deal as a replacement for Gtze. This would give Dortmund the funds to be able to buy Edin Deko from Man City and pave the way for Cavani move to the Etihad.

Hernandez off to Chelsea

MK Dons are hoping to sign Notts County midfielder Alan Judge as he is out of contract this summer. Judge was announced in the League One team of the year last night.

In your dreams just said in an interview he's got a host of championship clubs after him i'm not being funny but he left because he didn't wanna stay in league1 if he was happy in league1 he wouldn't have left us so mk dons have no chance

No chance he's going to a championship side,

Coulda sworn he recently signed a new contract.

29 Apr 2013 13:49:26
One of Portsmouth's first signings in readiness for the new season will be former Southend United utility Frenchman Bilel Mohsni

Good luck Pompey this man is nothing but trouble good riddance the blues have got rid of him

Highly unlikely.

hamsik wants out in the summer after being held by at gun point in napels want to come a safer environment for him and his family

29 Apr 2013 14:07:38
ludovic sylvestre to sign for tottenham at the end of the season for a reported 2 million with david bently coming the other way

He can go for free considering he is out of contract and David Bentley please I'd rather have a few blades of grass. I do know that ince is interested in tom Carroll on loan for next season.

29 Apr 2013 14:04:43
IF spurs get top 4 finishes they want to sign former midfield kevin prince and 2 st if not bale off to rm or utd. if maninci keeps his job nasri maybe back the arsenal or a london club silva tevez and a few other want to leave some they will need to rebuild talk of edinson cavani and el shaarawy. hamsik will go if cavani is sold to spain or germany but I think liverpool are interested but can't offer European football hummels want to come the prem likely place Manchester United as he has been quoted as saying I would like to play in the prem and for Manchester United david beckham could offer a 12 month contract at manchester utd to end career where it started

Boateng did not want to Tottenham, he has not had opportunities in 2007 until 2009 when he played there, he is more likely to go to Manchester City

Spurs have no interest in KPB

Richardson set to team up with Paul Cook at Chesterfield

Clears way for Coleman to return

Four members of the backroom staff left the club on Monday morning.
Assistant-manager Tommy Wright, reserve-team coach Mark Crossley, development coach John Dungworth and kit man Kurt McDermott all departed in a backroom re-shuffle.

Tommy wright to join sheridan

More chance off trottman going than hird

Hird transfer listed 7 released yesterday can't wait to see who cook brings in dnt think he has a clue really

Watford have re-called craig forsyth from his loan at derby but the rams are hoping to sign him the summer. Also ben davies has been offered new contract by derby, 1-year extension

Forsyth will sign a permanent deal with Derby in the summer even if Watford do not get promoted 100-200k.

A fee has been agreed at £150,000, plus add-ons.

You'll get him whether we're promoted or not, he's completely surplus.

We're in talks for this player at the moment. Good player

Forsyth deal seems close, Clough said he will talk to Watford when their season is complete, but if Derby were to bring someone in as a loan (which they did with?Martin and Forsyth) it would be on the condition that will would be in the position to make them permanant deals.

29 Apr 2013 13:12:04
just been told by a mate the we are getting JP McGovern

To which team are you refering?

Who are getting jp mcgovern?

29 Apr 2013 13:00:22
Newly promoted Bournemouth are to bring in -

Adam Smith or Nathan Thompson to compete with francis at RB

Aden Flint or Lewin Nayatanga as CB cover

Sam Vokes or Sam Baldock (maybe both)

And Howe is still interested in Charlie Austin after it was leaked that both him and his wife are unhappy in Burnley and they are looking at houses in the very desirable sandbanks/canford cliffs area.

Players out -
Dan Seabourne (will return to southampton and be loaned out to Swindon next season)
Daryl Flahaven
Matt Tubbs
Donal McDermott
Richard Hughes

Austin will go but certainly not to Bournemouth

Awesome if Charlie Austin could come to AFCB but doubt it and the rest sounds believable but we have Brett Pitman we don't need both strikers I would Sam Baldock

Would love to see us get Charlie Austin but will defiantly go to a bigger club!

Hughesy won't go. He's got bags of Championship experience and always comes on when when the team needs a calm head

#1 Austin doesn't have a 'wife' he has a girlfriend so that's a lie
#2 He will join a bigger club than AFCB

Why not join bournemouth, we've got the money and his girlfriend wants to move down south, and have premier league ambitions.

Rumours abound about clubs strengthening in the summer with purchases of new strikers. WEST HAM WERE linked with Andy Carroll, Wilfried Bony, Jordan Rhodes, ROmelu Lukaku, Gary Hooper to name a few but forget all that because they found a more prolific striker in NOEL HUNT. Yes, you heard it right, NOEL HUNT! Whilst I believe Hunt is a good hard working striker, is he really one that will solve Goal scoring problems at the hammers. This also demonstrates the hammers ambition for the summer and just how much of the funds are available to Big Sam.

Leeds United in's and outs

Going Out:

Adam Drury
Paddy Kenny
Steve Morison
Davide Somma
Michael Brown
Sam Byram

Leeds In's

Ian Harte
Adam Le Fondre
Habib Habibou (GFH 'Insist' on him staying)
Sam Byram (after selling him, getting him back on loan)

Oher Targets

Nathan Redmond
Nahki Wells
Johnny Howson
Shaun Wright-Phillips

brown just signed extention of 12 months, Morrison just signed and Byram not going anywhere, and the targets are just as made up, we don't want howson and can't afford redmond

29 Apr 2013 18:07:42
Im sure Chris Humphrey from Motherwell was mentioned in the paper! too

30 Apr 2013 09:42:48
People seem to has the stupid idea that just because someone has signed a new contract or an extension, that they won't be sold. McDermott is cleaning house and getting rid of those who have no place in his style of play. He DOES NOT want Byram to go, but he is being realistic, only a fool would turn down the silly money that is being offered. Howson wants to come back to Leeds, and Redmond will not be too expensive as sadly Birmingham are in a little financial trouble.

Im good mates with jonny and unfortunately you're wrong, he's happy at norwich

29 Apr 2013 12:23:21
Kevin Davies to Blackpool.

Blackpool have a habit of snapping up good old pro's in the twilight of their career and getting the best out of them. As we need a decent striker he would be a great signing

He's only 40 mins down the road and wants to learn the coaching/managers role as well.

Our former players also have a record of going into the management side as well so could be a good all round move for both parties.

Good but can't see it {Ed003's Note - Me neither tbh,considering there is a Lancashire derby coming up this weekend I would guess the op is on the wind up}

29 Apr 2013 13:01:36
Barnet are close to signing Jon Macken after Stockport's relegation to the Blue Square North, Macken is a replacement for Jake Hyde as he doesn't want to sign a new contract.

With his great goal scoring record of 1 this season, no thank you

29 Apr 2013 12:16:12
John Sheridan is to extend his stay at plymouth and offer chesterfield defender Sam Hird a way out.
Sam Hird has become disillusioned with life at chesterfield due to lack of first team opportunities and sheridan see's the player he brought in from Doncaster as the ideal signing. Especially as Chesterfield will still pick up part of his wages to get him off the wage bill.

As a Spireite this would be a good signing for Argyle, let me say this Sheridan will get you promoted next season he is shrewd in signing quality for free. Its worth a bet you guys.

Hope this is true Hird is a donkey

No chance

Most doncaster fans were sad to see him go, and to a lower league like that we always rated him wasn't scared to throw himself in front of anything

29 Apr 2013 13:19:01
Imagine a West ham team with front two of Jordan Rhodes and Wilfried Bony. Well Big Sam is working on just that. West Ham are also looking at Chris Solly and MArtin olsson or Danny Simpson again. However, with QPR and Reading relegated the vultures have already started to circle and West ham shown interest in Noel Hunt and Ian Harte. With only one relegation place left and Newcastle the next visitors to Upton park it could be them who are also relegated

Considering bfs only plays one up front

The vultures are circling for two backups. Good luck!

29 Apr 2013 13:08:30
apparently kevin prinz boetang has requested a move to the premier league with southampton favorites to sign him, although mauricio pottechino would rather sign aidem mcgeadie {Ed034's Note - if the saints sign all these players linked on here, you are going to have some team

If Southampton sign all the players we are being linked to our squad will be bigger than the british army was before all the budget cuts.

Hope we do Ed. Soon find out.

This is an awful rumour!

Doubt we will sign many, if any, of the players linked on here but, on this page, there are actually more going than coming.

29 Apr 2013 13:04:04
Swindon are set to sell Paul Caddis to Birmingham a fee of 350K plus Adam Rooney has already been agreed, if Rooney decides to stay.

Andy Williams is going to Bristol City for 150K

Aden Flint and Simon Ferry are both wanted by Bournemouthy and Jay Mceverly is wanted by Bradford City.

Nathan Thompson is going to Snub Ipswich Town and sign a new 3 year deal with Swindon.

Swindon are going to cut the wage bill and will consider offers on any player to slash the wage bill regardless of promotion.

KMAC intends to replace them with free transfers and youth players, but with his contacts will get some very good young players to build his own team.

KMAC couldn't sign a rice pudding the guy is duller than watching paint dry, more peas norma

Bristol city haven't got 150000 k

Bristol City do have 150000k

What with 61 million debt?

Err, 150000k equal 150 million. Must be a very rich club if they've got that.

Bristol City's debt is fairly irrelivent as it is to our own patron.

Last year (under the same depts) we spent a million quid and dished out a couple of massive contracts.

Dont expect Bristol City to not be as competitve as anyone in League 1 for spending and wages.

Your budget this year for wages will be 7.9 mill because of the 65% cap, so what was your wage budget this year at a guess 18 mill so a lot of changes at Ashton Gate me thinks.

The debt is irrevelent? Your owner must have deep pockets. So if you carry on like this your debt will reach 100 mill in no time. Every owner has got a limit on how much he or she will put into a club

29 Apr 2013 13:03:41
15 players to Leave Southampton Permenantly in the summer

Billy Sharp- Forrest 2 Million

Aaron Martin- Bournemouth Undisclosed
Guly- Reading 500K
Frazer Richardson- Free
Danny Seaborne-Free
Richard Chaplow-Free (Millwall)
Danny Butterfield-Free
Steve de Ridder- Dutch Team 500k
Sam Hoskins- Free
Tommy Forecast- Free
Ryan Dickson- Free
Lee Barnard- Free (southend)
Jonathan Forte- Mutual Termination

Reeves to sign 3 year deal
Mayuka to go on a season loan Promotion chasing championship team or to Hull if they go up

Billy sharpe will not join forest unless he show Billy davis how much he wants it. he has been very very poor since SOD was sacked

Hope right bout sharp signing forbforest

I am hoping that potts will have a look at sharp as he wasnt here when he was shipped out on loan, as for hammond going for 100 k I think its a bit of a hopefull one as he's improved as a player can't see him going for less than 500 k, can't see us letting go of hoskins for nothing either

st stuie

Daniels will not leave he is 1 of our best players I would say he's worth 1-1.5 million.

No chance Mayuka to go anywhere next season, he's going to become more a part of the side as Lambert gets older and he gets closer to his prime.
I can't see Hoskins going on a free, he's a good product of our youth system and worth a fair bit to league 1 sides especially as he's so young.

Please come back to the blues mr lee barnard

We would not send mayuka to hull especally if they get promoted he would probably get his first goal against us.

I understand there is a possibility of a Trotter / Sharp swap deal. Chaplow to Millwall is also likely to happen.

Paying Burnley 500k to take on Fox is money well worth Coretese spending. If I were them I would be asking for more like 2m to take on that liability.

On the upside he could set a world record for least expensive signing.

I heard Adkins wants Danny Fox as Reading are releasing Shorey and Harte

Fox to Reading is a great shout actually, Probably won't have to move house if he is settled down south and the manager that bought him to saints is there. Also not prem quality so move to promotion chasing championship club very likely

Chaplow has another year on his contract.

QPR player Loic Remy could be set for a summer move to Liverpool when QPR go down and Luis Suarez leaves Liverpool in the summer.

29 Apr 2013 12:06:55
Leeds are to step up their interest in Wolves' Kevin Doyle following Wolves' 2-1 defeat at the weekend to Burnley all but sealed relegation. Doyle, 29, has 9 league goals in 40 appearances this term and would command a fee in excess of £1m.
Brian Mcdermott is also said to be keen on heavily linked Bristol City forward Jon Stead.

Isn't Doyle out of contract this summer, in which case, as he is 29, no fee would be required by Wolves.

On the plus side also doyle and macdermott have same agent mot.

He is not out of contract at all. Doyle signed a new contract not long ago.

Stead is class, but injury prone.

Sadly I don't expect him to resign with Bristol City, I am sure a Championship club will pick him up, if not a Premier League side that want an experienced squad filler.

Keep up mate doyle hasn't even signed a new contract he is free to speak to any club from july

29 Apr 2013 12:05:18
Wolves player Steven hunt set for a summer move to either Burnley or celtic

29 Apr 2013 11:51:58
Nottingham Forest have agreed a deal to sign Sam Hutchinson from chelsea. For an undisclosed fee and a 2 year deal.

Really hope this is true what talent. Let billy hive him a proper preseason and he will benifit from it. {Ed034's Note - we have been in discussions with Chelsea. I really hope he signs as a fit Hutchinson would be a massive asset

Hope this happens he is an ace player

29 Apr 2013 11:50:34
Huddersfield are linked with Arsenal's Chamakh.

Behave

29 Apr 2013 16:40:41
Would be a good signing but can't see happening

Wow, imagine our strike force, Alan Lee partnering Marouane Chamakh. UNSTOPPABLE!

Huddersfield midfielder Chris Atkinson to Bradford after his release from Huddersfield.

Errrmmmmm when was he released from his contract?

If we go down he won't be released.

Has he been released? He only signed a new deal in Jan 2013 to end of 2014 season.

30 Apr 2013 16:29:12
We are not going down!

29 Apr 2013 09:55:47

No he is going to cardiff

29 Apr 2013 10:24:13
QPR's Granero is said to be set for Gus Poyet's Brighton if they're to gain promotion. Granero has a release clause in his contract if QPR were to get relegated.

If QPR get relegated? They have been relegated haven't they?

Sam Walker is set to return to Colchester after the U's clinched survival on Saturday. After the game, Sam Walker spoke to many U's fans and even said he would be back with 'the lucky shoe' next season that the fans gave him. The shoe had been on every away trip this season.

Boro will move to sign Real Madrid forward javier acuna in the summer on a free transfer. {Ed001's Note - didn't he already join Girona on a perm deal, following a loan spell there?}

29 Apr 2013 15:16:50
the same thing happened with arouna kone he signed for levante after a loan spell there but got sold straight away to wigan

29 Apr 2013 09:07:58
Was at the Reading game yesterday (I'm a Fulham fan, wanted to see QPR relegated) and saw Barry Simmonds who is the head scout at Fulham, from what I understand he was there to watch Adam Le Fondre and made plenty of notes upon his introduction.

Le Fondre has already spoken out saying that he wants to link up again with BMD so its more than likely he will be Leeds United bound

He was awful yesterday so he probably just wrote "NO, No way, not gunna happen"

Must have been doing his shopping list then. Alfie didn't do anything when he came on. he's nowhere near a 90 minute player the Prem League. that's why he rarely starts.

Le Fondre has already spoken out saying that he wants to link up again with BMD so its more than likely he will be Leeds United bound

Must have been an article only published within the Leeds city limits.

He openly said he wasn't happy with game time he was getting and he may consider his future should this not change. Leeds fans put 2&2 together and got 42 as usual

Super sub wasn't super enough to keep them from getting relegated.

Why would Le Fondre pick Leeds over Fulham and play on the bench under mcdermott. Leeds fans = deluded

Didn't you know? Despite winning nothing since Dinosaurs roamed the earth Leeds are apparently the biggest club in the world! Now now down before their greatness.

I know that Leeds had great prodigies that became good players in the prem such as Lennon and Ferdinand but the reason they left is because they thought Leeds weren't a big enough club.

29 Apr 2013 09:38:29
Bradford may make a double swoop for Southampton pair Tommy Forecast and Ben Reeves on a free transfer should they go up.

Forecast wouldn't be for you if you go up, possibly if you stay down.

They won't get reeves

For God's sake don't tell 'em that mate, let's just be shot of the useless
woeful Forecast.

Liked the look of Dickson we had on loan from Southampton before he got injured. Available on a free in summer? Could be an option if we get into league 1.

Forcaste to Bradford? If your a Bantam you better hope it's Bradford Park Avenue

Dickson will be available I'm sure of that. I'm sorry but me mentioning how bad Forecast is won't change the minds of the manager if they genuinely want him, but I can only see him going to a league 2 side, and even then I think a relegation threatened one.

^dickson is a good league 1 player, take him.

Love to have ben reeves for city but can't see that happening even if we do go up. he's got championship written all over him

29 Apr 2013 08:34:14
Barnsley selling mellis to Reading for 750,000

Bull. Worth at least 3 million.

Stick a one in front of the seven and you can have is right leg

He is one of our best players why would he join a poor side?

Melissa a decent player probably more than 750k but a deal that could happen

29 Apr 2013 09:26:06
Tully, Bouza, Frear, Nicholls and Chamberlain are all set to leave Exeter City. The club will not offer contract extensions to these players as with a budget cut Paul Tisdale needs to move players out and streamline his squad to add a couple of quality players to the side for next season.

The youngsters will again be relied upon for back up to the first team.

Matt Oakley, Jamie Cureton, Pat Baldwin and John O Flynn will sign new deals during this next week.

29 Apr 2013 08:05:44
Coventry City will tie up the signing of Burton Albion's Jacques Maghoma shortly. Peterborough are now in the race for Burton's young Scottish striker Matt Paterson and Rotherham will make a six figure bid for Calvin Zola.

I heard on Saturday that both Zola and Paterson have been offered long term deals at Burton and are considering. Maghoma is definitley off and Coventry could be a good bet. If we get promoted via the play offs then all three might stay! UTBs

As stated above, all down to the play offs. I believe all three will stay if we go up, if not then I think Zola and Mags will be off but Pato I think will stay to get a full season of football - three great forward players by the way!

29 Apr 2013 07:50:42
Chelsea Midfielder/Defender Nathaniel Chalobah could be set to leave Chelsea in search of First Team football with Arsenal, Fulham, Southampton and Watford interested

He will go to Watford, prove his self then go to Arsenal, he's way too young for a big club.

29 Apr 2013 13:32:18
if he goes to Watford - it reckon it will only be on season long loan again.

Chelsea won't sell him.

Chalobah will get 50 plus caps for England. Put a bet on it.

Only if Watford are promoted

Him and schneiderlin in the holding role for saints in a couple years time would be lethal

Watford, nor any other club, will sign him. I would love it as a Watford fan, but it won't happen. He's highly rated at Chelsea and will be key to them in the near future, whether it be next season or the season after. If he leaves it will be on loan again, possibly to Watford if we get promoted, but I think Chelsea might use him in the first team sparingly next season.

What a goal the other day from this guy!

29 Apr 2013 07:32:47
Port Vale want to sign out of contract midfielder Tom Soares from relegated Bury, who was once sold to Stoke City for over one million pounds. Soareswants to play at a higher level than League 2.

Port Vale isn't much of an improvement, They will be back in League 2 next season!

I belive that Blackpool are VERY interested in him. Paul Ince needs to look for good lower league players and is intersted in Soars to bring a new look to a tired Blackpool midfield.

29 Apr 2013 14:00:05
Let me guess the first respondant is either Crewe, Shrews, Tranmere or Sheff Utd. We'll be fine, just boiling that egg ready for your face.

Vale are in League 1

29 Apr 2013 07:27:44
Arsenal are looking to sign Thomas Ince from Blackpool. They would pay about 8 Million to 13 Million for him. This is a likely transfer rumour as Thomas Ince will be in the championship at blackpool next season but he would probably finish in the top 4 at arsenal and qualify for the champions league.

29 Apr 2013 03:22:27
Pilkington Norwich to cardiff for £800. 000
Hooper celtic to swansea £5m
Wanyama celtic to arsenal or man united £10m
Ledley celtic to cardiff £4.5m
Crouch stoke to celtic £4m or hooper swap
Fabregas barca to arsenal £15m
James forrest celtic to spurs or everton £8m

29 Apr 2013 08:23:38
While Pilkington has not had his best season for Norwich you are way off his valuation there. I don't think he will be sold, but offers in the region of 4-5 mil would be needed to tempt Norwich into selling. On his day he is an extremely effective player and £800k is not even close to being enough.

You have got to be kidding. Pilkington cost us 2m+ and since then he scored a number of important goals for us. If anything, his value has increased.

I'd like to see Hooper here for definite.

There is not a chance that Pilkington will leave us for 800k. he is one of our few premier league standard players, you are looking at around £5million for him!

Gary Hooper sounds like a good acquisition if money us right for Swans. Although Neil Lennon extremely keen to hold onto him, after scoring 28 goals this season in all competitions. Only 2 short of repeating 18 goals in the league, as he has done in the last two seasons.

Pilkington will not be going anywhere for 800,000 when we have turned down bids of 8 mil for him

Pilkington will not leave and especially not for less than 4 million

Pilkington 800k lol, worth £4m+ of anyone's money

Norwich paid around £2m for Pilkington when he was playing in league 1, so why on earth would they now sell him for £800. 000? would never happen, he is one of our best players and it would take a big offer for us to let him go, atleast £8m.

29 Apr 2013 15:39:31
you're clearly a deluded celtic fan

Forest and wanyama will not be leaving for the prices you say lol wanyama has 3 years left on his contract celtic wouldn't accept anything less than 15 million min for him and for forest celtic wouldn't sell him for anything less than 10 they don't get it they won't sell simple celtic have no debt have 2 billionaire investors so are in no rush

Wanyama has 1 year left on his contract lol and forrest will be gone soon for no more than 8 sorry to say i'm a celtic fan maself so obviously hope they don't go

30 Apr 2013 13:12:02
No has ever bid 8 million for pilkington, fact!

Good job it says 800k ha

30 Apr 2013 18:00:49

Funny how J M-W knows nothing about this rumour then?

His brother goes to my school. He hates Bristol City and won't return

I know Myrie-Williams well and there is no way he will return.

Thank goodness for that.

Early almost done deals in L2
Edgar Davids player/coach at Exeter, Bristol Rovers or AFC Wimbledon
Jake Hyde - Plymouth Argyle (£0, due to relegation clause and 20% wage decrease)
Jamie Cureton - Bristol Rovers or Torquay (free)
Ashley Chambers - York to Rotherham or Fleetwood
Rene Howe - Plymouth
Billy Kee - Exeter
Lee Molyneaux - Portsmouth
Joe Lennox (unattached) - Portsmouth
Rory Fallon - Hartlepool
Danny Hylton - Bury/Fleetwood/Mansfield/Scunthorpe/Chesterfield/Plymouth/Crewe

I thought Cureton was a Exeter player?

He is but his contract runs out in a month or so but he stated he'd like to stay at Exeter last week. (even though he still lives in Bristol) Saying that, we're linked with him every summer so I wouldn't take it as serious, plus, he had a quiet second period of the season so on that conclusion I would prefer us to look at someone younger with a bit more pace.

As for Edgar Davids I would welcome him to the club, seems to have a excellent attitude and hopefully his skill and experience will rub off on other players.

UTG

Whittingham has said that he wants all his current squad to stay but if this post is correct he's not sure about his wingers (Molyneaux has been playing on the left wing at Stanley and Lennox is a winger)

Dont want Lee Molyneaux. after Saturday he'll miss the first three games of the season

Joe Lennox is at Bath City

I would happily take both of those players at argyle, lennox was a good player, league 1/championship potential only released by argyle to slash the wage bill and any league 2 team could easily have him as a sub winger -quick and good crossing

Jake Hyde has scored 14 goals for barnet this season and barnet have gone down so he would be the best shout

Would love to rene howe in a plynouth shirt but can't see it happening. I also thinck we may get lester I know he just retired but have a feeling js will talk him into another season as a player coach

Haha, no chance Davids will go to any of these clubs

Clearly an Argyle fan who's written this and none of it will happen

The whole reason Davids joined Barnet was because it was in London near where he lived and he didn't want to move.

David's to any of those clubs would be a surprise, least of all because he would be relinquishing a managers job, for a coaching role. Promotion next season, as history shows will be near impossible, but with some help with recruitment he could build a squad capable of promotion in the next 2-4 seasons. This year was extremely unusual in that 51 points left them relegated. The highest points total Barnet have got in the last three seasons apparently.

Out of the clubs metioned then Bristol Rovers would be a good fit for him imo. John Ward is still looking for a assistant manager I believe so if Davids could learn, what? 20 years experience from ward then I can see him taking over the club when Ward retires or takes a back seat (DoF)
though as someone said he lives in london and whether he would be prepared to move to Bristol of nearby remains to be seen.
