Jermaine Beckford has moved to Huddersfield Town on loan for 93 days.
The paperwork has been completed this evening making him available for selection for the home game against Watford (subject to league clearance tomorrow morning). Jermain will take the number 21 shirt at the club

He's a good tall but fast player hopefully he will score a couple of goals for us.

Some pretty unfair comments here, he looked unfit today, hardly a surprise with his lack of match fitness, and had Vaughan been fit Beckford would have been on the bench but he did show a few neat touches and lets just give him chance to get match fit before slagging him off!
He didnt want to move to leicester,and he certainly doesnt want to play for hudds!He's Sulking already!lol
Listen boys, i am a hardcore Leeds United fan, some faithfuls loved him, sime dispise him (me being 1).
Beckford is not all he's cracked out to be, he thinks he's better than he actually is wether he be match fit or not.
He is 1 of the most sulkiest persons ive ever seen play.
He's not championship material at all, its too fast and too hard for him, put him in div 1 he'll score all day long.
Trust me, send him back
Sulking? He worked hard yesterday, it was just his match fitness and knowing the team that let him down! Give him a couple of games and then judge him!

I have it on good authority that hevhas taken a massive pay hit to come and play for Town and put himself in the shop window. Apparently Leicester are only paying 10k a week of his wages and Town are not making up the difference and with two years left on his contract he will be trying his socks off to catch the eye of any club prepared to take him on at his full pay rate. For 93 days that sound to be a win win situation for player and clubs!
Clueless? he has brought in at least 6 quality players who have taken us to the top of the table the team plays like a team and he is tactically very astute unlike clarke who truly was clueless and if you took you anti leeds glasses off you would see it
He is certainly someone with unquestionnable talent, however he is hard work. Hopefully Grayson and co will get the best out of him! Up the Terriers!!

Great move by leicester got rid of one the worst strikers ive ever seen in a blue shirt no ball control what so ever , a lazy player doesn't or cannot jump for the ball .doesn't track back can' tackle throws hissy fits just a mardy bum baby when things do not go his way ur welcome to him please sign him on a permanent contract thanks for having him jimlcfc

It's been a busy day in North Essex for Colchester. Joe Dunne has been appointed new manager following the departure of John Ward. Club legend Mark Kinsella has been signed as an assistant manager. The U's have also made three loan signings: Jabo Ibhere, Sanchez Watt and Craig Eastmond have all signed on 3 month loan deals from MK Dons and Arsenal respectively.
