Where has all the sudden talk of hidden clauses in contrats of Liverpool players (especially Torres and Reina) come from?
I thought Reina signed a new 6-year contract in the summer, saying that he loved playing for the club and winning trophies wasn't the only agenda on which his general happiness was based.
Liverpool don't striked me as the kind of club who would permit such clauses to be inserted into star player contracts.
Does anyone know any details or is this just more paper trash talk? (ed, you heard anything?)

Roy has 30m in Jan + transfers. He is sorely lacking a true backup striker, another 2 true wingers, and a quality central defender. Expect the Jan window to go like this:
Offload: Aquilani, Babel, Jovanovic (a total disappointment), for a net of around 15m.
With the 45m, targets will be:
- Forlan as the second striker, 14m - he is a different type of striker to Nando, and gives the edge of the box angle
- Young as the second left-sided winger for 14m - English, young, considered to be a real potential
- Jones from Blackburn as the new CD, for 10m, young, English, considered a talent
