The Hammers will now not opt to buy D. Bent from Tottenham but will instead play F. Sears up front with Bellamy next season with Zamora and C. Cole being the back–up forwards. Gabbidon will go to Manchester City, Quashie will go to Wolves with Mullins being sold to Fulham. Shorey will be bought which will mean McCartney will go to Newcastle with Ashton. Nathan Dyer will be bought from Southampton to play left–winger and Kieron will play right–winger.

Thanks for Reading. S10

I was at Murray park today (Tuesday) and Sir David Murray arrived with a guest in his car. Walter Smith, Ally McCoist and Sir David Murray stayed behind after training and then Sir David Murray and his guest headed off (Probably to Ibrox but I cannot be 100 percent sure). The guest was Louis Saha.

Liverpool ins/Outs for the Summer: IN: Kenwyne Jones, Silva/Nasri, Bentley, Rafinha/Alves, Heinze. OUTS: Voronin, Kewell, Riise, Finnan.

Lucio is to leave Bayern Munich at the end of this season, with Arsenal a possible destination, while Wenger prefers mobility to strength, it is becoming apparent that Toure and Gallas need to partner a big strong centre back – with Lucio telling Bayern he wants a new challenge, see him link up with Toure/Gallas at centre back next season.

Wenger is also looking at wingers, but not Quaresma, he is an over rated show pony, check his assists/goals stats. Ben Arfa is more likely, but with Vela set to slot into the LW posn next season, a RW is more likely – one of Robinho, Mancini or Joaquin.

Finally, in attack, the Eto'o rumour just will not die, I cannot see this myself, £25 million + £20 million in wages, and another African Striker to lose during the ACN? David Villa seems more likely so expect to see one of the 2 arriving in the Summer.

Hoyte, Gilberto, Lehman and Djourou are all set to leave, with replacements being unknowns or promotions from reserves.

Thats all for now

dm

Let's drop some realism into the LFC rumours.

Firstly, Silva of Valencia IS a target for Rafa. He has looking to bring in either Joaquin or Silva as LFC need another wide man. If Babel is moved to an advanced role, he will look to add two wingers, the other being Bentley/Ashley Young.

If Babel stays wide, he will look to bring in a forward and favourite is Aguero from Athletico. He will use either Alonso or Reina as bait.

Finally, he will look to add one or two full backs. Probably one as he is a big fan of Arbeloa. He will look to spend big on Daniel Alves but is cautious over his attitude. Will probably settle for Rafinha. If Reina leaves, expect a cheeky bid for Buffon or Shay Given.

I have been in conversation with a senior member of the ruling Dubai Royal family, and the expect DIC to complete their purchase of Liverpool in early April. After this date they will seak to enhance LFC as a global brand, use the current stadium design and stream line and grow income streams. To this end they will look to add 2 major names to the squad, and two other world class names to the squad. On top of theis they aim to add 3–4 potential world class players to the team. Names being mentioned as world class are: –Kaka, Drogba, Messi, C. Ronaldo, Villa. Money no object.

Jenas may sign for the teddy bears next season as he has a lack of admirers in the Premiership and is hoping to do a Davis in Scotland.

  Arsenal scoop:

Everyone knows a bloke who knew a guy who's mate's sister made some babies with a guy that had an Uncle who works on the training ground. But, these are doing the rounds with every bloke in north London with such a tall tale, no smoke without fire.

Arsene is watching his team falter at the business end of things due to a small squad for the second year on the spin. he still believes in the young guns who just two weeks ago bashed Milan, but they need some help, when things go wrong or players lose form he has nowhere to turn. as he does not want to stunt the development of the kids only a few will come, but the cash will be splashed this time. in particular the team needs some attacking dynamism.

this is shown by the quotes yesterday about ben arfa. menez will arive also. Vela is coming back from loan. Bids may well be lodged for Nasri and Gourcuff. four of these 5 will arive. if he becomes unsettled at Madrid Robiniho would be targeted. other than this the usual few young prospects and possiblly one more defensive player with size, either CM or CB.

The money will flow at the Emirates this Summer, this team is on the brink, with a bit of flair up front it's all there. Le boss to splash 50 million to secure the future for the next seven years.

Cookies all round says the monster

Tottenham are poised to sign Middlesbrough winger Adam Johnson for around £6 mill

= v1=

Newcastle will make some monster signings in the Summer if we stay up, although some will not be as well known as others they will be shrewd moves because we've actually got some decent scouts out there nowadays.

1. Expect a big bid for Serbian Zlatko Kuzmanovic from Fiorentina (has been complared to Luka Modric (although different nationalities))

2. There will be bids put in for Aiden McGeady from Celtic although this may go out of the window because Celtic have him over priced.

3. Steven Fletcher will be forced to choose between St. James' and the Bernabaeu (I know where I would go)

4. From the rumours flying round SJP Keegan is preparing a stAggering bid for the backbone of Sporting Lisbon with a £29 million double bid for Portugese sensations Miguel Veloso and Joao Moutinho (although with Man United's link with the club this may be just pipedreams).

5. There will be a huge bid for a forward to make sure we can score some goals (Keegan forsees MO's future as a midfielder – not that KK is a genius but he converted Rob Lee from a bang average winger/forward into an international CM and Steve Howey from a Frankly rubbish CF to an international centre back so he may be onto something) some of the forwards being mentioned are Berbatov, Henry (this will NEVER happen), Aguero, Gomis (new Drogba? ) and Atletic Bilbao targetman Joseba Llorente (Keegan sees him very much in the Alan Shearer mould).

There are a couple of almost done deals which will see David Bentley arrive at SJP followed by Pascal Chimbonda from Tottenham as well.

I do not often post such indepth rumours but these are the ones I am hearing from inside the offices at Thompson House (home of The Evening Chronicle and The Journal).

Just a couple of things to add – I have no doubt that Arsenal are looking at Diogo, but if he is Portugese then he will not need a WP (I think you will find he's Brazilian) and although there was a massive Hunt for South African sensation Kermit Erasmus (including several top European clubs) he opted to move to PSV (possibly because of the links between South Africa and Holland)

Peace out

My Uncle works at Chelsea, and has seen Jermaine Beckford (Leeds forward) in training at Cobham. 100 percent sure he is moving there in the Summer, rumours of £4 million which could rise depending on appearances.

Josh Windels, Tunbridge Wells: –)

Despite Arsenal's bad form it is not likely that Arsene will go mad spending, despite the money available. Karim Benzema alone is likely to cost silly money of £25 million+. His likely destination is Man United in a few years time.

Genuine targets however are:

Zdranko Kuzmanovic – £5 million, close to sealing a move to the Emirates Stadium for next season.

Yoan Gouffran – Undisclosed Fee – this Wonder–kid IS joining Arsenal as he has a pre–contract agreement, although not confirmed officially I guarantee you he will be playing for the Gunners next season.

Carlos Vela will form a big part of the team after returning from his loan spell at Osasuna.

Hatem Ben Arfa – £12 million – Highly rated from Wenger.

Jeremy Menez – Left Winger from Monaco, Wenger's former team, and his French links mean he could be putting in a bid for him if he does not get Ben Arfa (they play same position, he will not get both)

Samir Nasri – AMC, will only join if Fabregas leaves which is HIGHLY UNLIKELY.

Afc 4 Life.

Lfc rumours – unlike others I do not pretend to know who Rafa will sign. DIC will take over in the Summer due to credit crunch in America. Rafa will be given one more season to make a serious challenge. Rafa will buy one versatile defender to cover all positions. Rafa will buy one high quality winger to cover either wing. Rafa will buy one quality forward to help Torres. Rafa will not buy players who turned us down or who are over priced – Heinze or Alves –

Yellow feather big news from London Colney is that Wenger has been in contact with Everton about Steven pinnaer, but the player has said that he will remain with Everton if he stays in the Premier League next season. Wenger is also interested in bringing Kaka to the Grove next season, and with Drogbar and many others going to Milan and with the Brazilian influence at Arsenal, this could be an incredible piece of business. Flamini is the biggest worry Wenger has at the moment, with the will he, will not he sign a new contract, if he goes, watch out for a bid for van de vaart or gareth barry from villa, but Flamini is expected to sign a five year deal to match what Fabregas has. the usual rumours about Richards, benzema, Quaresma, Nasri, Henry and the others will float about for a while, but none of these will happen. one last word, Berbatov has said that he likes playing alongside keene, but he would love to play alongside van Persie and he see's rvp as the ideal play–maker for his game, could this be a little "come and get me" call? yellow feather

  Joe Ledley to Liverpool

The guy saying Liverpool would be swooping for 'Portuguese sensation Diogo', but saying he would not be eligible for a work permit so would have to go on loan, I suggest you check what you say, as Portugal are members of what which makes work permits unnecessary? Anyway, on to the rumours, should AC Milan not make the Champions league spots this season, Kaka is highly likely to move on, with Milan willing to accept a huge fee for him in order to bring in a slightly reduced price Ronaldinho. Shockingly Liverpool look most likely to get him, with the lure of playing alongside Torres, Gerrard and Babel with the freedom provided by Mascherano too good an opportunity to turn down. Bentley or Ben Arfa are also on their way to Liverpool to make up the final midfield/attacking spot.

Juande will not make that many changes to his current squad, however there will be some losses. Assou–Ekotto, Chimbonda, Rocha, Lee, Stalteri, Tainio, Robinson. Lennon will stay as will Berbatov and malbranque. Juande will bring in Diego Capel, Dani Jarque, Carlos Kameni, Cristian Zapata (Gun centre back from Udinese). He will look to bring in a forward and is considering moves for Ashton, Owen, Vassell and Fred. These players will be signed not to start but to supply quality when Berbs, Keane and Bent get injured.

With Gianluca Nani now dorecting the transfer activity at WHUfc, He will do a number of things.

1. Sack Curbishley at the end of the season and bring in Slaven Bilic Croatia Manager.

2. Set up feeder clubs so that an influx of foreign talent can be established. (Man United + Sporting Lisbon)

3. Offload some dead wood like Quashie, Spector, Walker, Collins, Boa Morte, Solano, Zamora, Camara, Mullins. In will come Podolski (loan), McGeady, Viduka, Zapata, Kompany, Nelson

4. Continue to produce top class british talent like Sears and Tomkins. Expect more Academt lads to get a run next season

Claret and Blue Boy

News from the lane, lets get this sorted, THFC will not be signing, Richards, Elmander, n'zogbia, mcgeady (one person linked thfc with 3 left sided players? inc capel), nor will they buy kameni, kanoute, fabiano or ben arfa. ALSO the only players to be added to the "untouchables list" will be, bale, gunter, rose, pekhart, taarabt, dervitte and poss huddlestone, the rest inc malbranque, kaboul, zokora and bent will be allowed to go for the right money, as stated Keane and Berbatov will not be going esp to Newcastle, as for Ledley king by the start of season 08–09 he will be 100 percent, arriving at WHL will be David Villa, capel, ramsey, jarque and granero poss moves could be Bentley, Arteta, Diego (riverplate), afellay, Joe Lewis and ivan rakitic, have noticed the puddle fans now mentioning santa cruz going to Lfc after I mentioned it last week. do not forget wheater boys lol

Liverpool are front runners for 18 year old winger Diogo Viana he plays for Sporting and Portugal u–20 he will join on loan with an option of a £4 million (that is a guess at the fee but I would imagine it would be around that) not confirmed but I imagine it will happen

Stave Bruce could raid his old club, in bringing Maumba and Larrsson, this is even if the Blues survive relegation.

Also expect to see the likes of Forssell, Jerome and Nafti leave in the Summer whch ever league they are in.

McFadden will not be leaving as some have said, as he cannot leave unless the club decide they woud sell, but if they go down he will be the main player they will look to in getting the club back to the Premier League.

It is said that Kapo will stay at the club even if in the championship, he loves the area and the club and wants to become a legend here, also has shown to the club how dedicated to the club he is, as while even injured he has travelled with the team or driven by car to follow them. something that has not gone unoticed by the management.

Other fringe players will leave as McLeish will be havinga good clear out, somethigSteve Bruce should have done with the dead–wood.

LFC – some posters on here are out of control.

The club is not planning swoops for the dozen or so players people are banging on about. They do not have £50 million to throw around and DIC are unlikely to let Rafa have it anyway.

As I have been saying for the past two weeks – Maraoune Chamakh from Bordeaux is one of only a few players I am told the club are looking at. Philip Lahm's name has been mentioned, but then again, his name is mentioned at every top club in Europe as well.

Chamakh could link well with Torres as he is big, strong and young, but one interesting rumour I was told while working in Hamburg last week, is that Lukas Podolski is being considered. Seems he has few friends among the fans at Bayern Munich (not being a 'true German'/speaking with a Polish accent does not help) and is possibly free. For my money Chamakh is a better bet, but if the fantasists posting on here believe that David Bentley would only cost £8–9 million, then not only will Liverpool be wise to invest – but so would a score of other major clubs.

My best guess after talking to people associated with the club, an office worker at Hamburg SV, a journalist and my mate's Uncle who knows a milkman who delivers to a former footballer who knew a TV pundit in the 1960s. is that Chamakh, Lahm and possibly a defender will arrive and the rest of the 2008–09 first team squad will be made up from the reserves and a few fringe players (experience needed) such as Nemeth, maybe Eccleston, Plessis and hopefully Hobbs and Stephen Darby.

As an LFC supporter of more than 38 years standing, can I say that players such as Babel, Lucas and of course Daniel Agger will be the 'rocks' we need to be strong. Just stop saying "next year we will. " This is now and we need stability, determination, cash and our usual support to grow. I would be ashamed to think that the lunatics who are slagging off Kuyt will do the same to any of these three if they have a bad few months.

Signed up for next season two French gems ( are you watching arse) obertan and saivet so the reds are getting ready to defend their sixth European cup

Gordon Strachan to leave Celtic at the end of the season. YEEEE–HA.

Talks are at an advanced stage to bring Mark Hughes to Parkhead.

Gravesen to Blackburn too.

Honestly, some people just write something for the satisfaction of seing it published on this site. Sami Hyypia for example, will probably still be at Anfield next season. Consult the LFC website if you do not believe me, Rafa himself states today that Sami is to be offered a one year extension to his current deal, and Sami says he would love to clock up 10 years with the club. I can see Sami becoming part of the coaching set up because he simply loves the club, City and fans. Some players just are not merCanaries you see. Not a rumour, just a fact. Sorry Villa, Newcastle, Fulham, Celtic etc. etc. Back to the dreamers, why not try writing a novel instead?

Manchester City are desperate to make the stride to European football again.

In order to achieve this Sven will offload a few players to add onto Thaskin's transfer funds.

He will start by allowing many of his loaned out players join the clubs permanently with Samaras joining Celtic, Dickov signing on at Crystal Palace and Corradi joining Parma.

Andreas Isaksson will also leave Eastlands and move to German giants Bayern Munich, Danny Mills will join Blackburn Rovers to provide some cover in the right back position and Emile Mpenza and Ouesmane Dabo will leave England and join Sochaux.

With the profits of around £15 million + some funds from the board Sven will concentrate on the building the attack by buying Brazilian Fred for a fee of around £8 million allowing him to fight for a place in the attack with Benjani, Vassell and Caiceido.

Then with only Hamann and Johnson available in the central midfield role, Sven will swoop for Bordeaux hardman Rio Mavuba for a fee of £8 million.

Liverpool want to bring in these players –

Rafinha

Silva

Villa

Trejo

(May also bring in a goalie): (Amelia? )

Players looking to leave are –

Crouch

Itandje

Voronin

Aurelio

Kewell

Here are some real rumours regarding LFC.

Rafa will make a few reinforcements. The 2 fullback positions, both wings, and a forward will be bought.

There may also be a shock depature. None other that our beloved hero Steven Gerrard could well be off to either Italy or Spain. He wants to challenge at the very top and feels that his aspirations cannot be matched at LFC. We saw how "committed" he was on Sunday when he went missing and done nothing to prevent Mascherano from being sent off. a MASSIVE offer will be needed to prise him away.

Rafa has made Gabby Heinze his #1 target for lft back. A bid of £6 million will be enough, Wayne Bridge is a back up name and would cost £7 million. BUT, this English player quota may be enforced in the 2009/10 season, if this is confirmed Rafa will go for Bridge instead. It is no secret that LFC scouts have been sent to look at Rafinha, who has expressed his interest in signing for the Reds, a bid of £6 million will be enough. Thats both fullback positions sorted. Right wing, Rafa will go for Aaron Lennon, or David Bentley. 2 quality ENGLISH players who will fit brilliantly in a big club. Either of them would cost £10 million at least. Left wing will be occupied by either Quaresma, who is naturally a right winger but will be converted, or Maxi Lopez. The forward will either be David Villa (£18 million), Roque Santa Cruz (£6 million Buy out Clause), Michael Owen (£9 million, or David Trezeguet (£8 million)

  Transfer activity LFC Summer 2008

OUT; Finnan (2 million). Riise (5 million). Kewell (free). Voronin (1 million). Aurelio (2 million). Pennant (6 million). Kuyt (6 million). Carson (6 million). Crouch (10 million). Guthrie (3 million).

Krisztian Nemeth, Jay Spearing and Emilio Insua will be promoted to the senior squad and the following players will be Rafa's top targets;

RB – Rafinha. LB – Philip Lahm. RW – Ricardo Quaresma. LW – David Silva. CF – David Villa. (All these players have hinted at the chance of moving to a bigger and more succesful club)

Rafa knows he has to compete with the big guns in the transfer market, settling for affordable mediocrity is not an option anymore unless Liverpool want to be challenging for third &fourth place every year. There are too many players that are just not good enough at Liverpool and if Rafa can offload them and get a transfer kitty of about £50 million expect some big names arriving at Anfield over the Summer
