Ed do the argyle board want to sell? {ed's note - not really, they were looking for investors first and foremost, but I think they will be forced to sell as they can't (or more likely won't) put up the money to save the club.}(2)(0)

 26 Nov 2010 21:54:23
Peter risdale and chris dawson and 2 other parties have made takeover bids which could be offers they can't refuse with risdale offering the least for them to turn down expect argyle to be takenover next week and expect chris dawson who i thought hated football to be the buyer he will clear all debts, give reid money and will make bwp, noone and fletcher contract offers he will give reid around 5 mil in jan with bids for harley, kevin philips on the cards.(2)(0)

 26 Nov 2010 21:56:56
Plymouth Argyle fans would pack Home park to the rafters if Chris Dawson took over, he is the archetypal local figurehead who inspires the crowds, an audacious character from a tough Plymouth council estate whos still down to earth. This could entice the crowds back en masse if he invested a few million in january in the team. ARGYLE FANS WAKE UP AND MOUNT A CAMPAIGN, CHRIS DAWSON THE NEW OWNER, NOT PETER SKIN YOU FOR A FIVER RISDALE. Met mr Dawson at a Naval doo once, lovely bloke very real, but did not seem interested when I mentioned him investing in Argyle, hopefully times have changed

he must of been intrested cause he is in talks to buy argyle with 2 other buyers and risdale.(1)(0)

What a prat! !

Why would Austin goto Burnley?? They are an absolute joke of a football team & who in their right mind would want to play under Brian Flaws? ?.

So 0/ 2 so far(4)(1)

Chris dawson is currently having talks with plymouth about buying them but cause of his and a few other intrested parties lack of experince in football the board will sell to peter risdale instead who will promise the fans he will clear of debts and give reid money.(1)(2)

 26 Nov 2010 21:16:01
Ed as a guy is aking you questions about argyle i got one ask you

how much are plymouth argyle debts? {ed's note - I don't know for certain, the only thing I know is that is over £10m at the very least, because of their plan of using £7.5m towards paying the debt down.}(2)(0)

 26 Nov 2010 21:17:16
Peter risdale will back peter reid in the transfer market but will clear debts to. {ed's note - he did that at Cardiff, Barnsley and Leeds too, almost killed all 3 clubs while getting his pockets nicely lined.}(5)(1)

Henri Lansbury, Arsenal to Bristol City on loan

Really, last I heard, he was at Colney training ground ahead of the East Anglian Derby after signing a loan deal with Norwich.

OTBC(6)(0)

 26 Nov 2010 21:00:09
Im so sorry ed if im asking to many questions about argyle im affraid i got another question how much wil the takeover cost and do you know who the other buyer is? {ed's note - I really don't know any details, I only know about Ridsdale, the person who told me seemed to think it was important to warn people. He worked at a club Ridsdale was at previously, when Ridsdale took himself a huge payoff just before putting the club into administration.}(2)(0)

 26 Nov 2010 20:45:00
Ed do you think argyle will escape adminstration im unsure because people are telling the takeover is happening as soon as next week and can you see the new owner clearing any debts? {ed's note - I think the only reason Ridsdale has a chance is because he will keep the club out of administration for now anyway.}(1)(1)

Henri Lansbury, Arsenal to Bristol City on loan(5)(7)

 26 Nov 2010 20:31:32
Ed have you got any idea whats going to happen to plymouth argyle. {ed's note - I fear for Argyle myself, it does seem likely that Ridsdale will take over and that will be a disaster for the club.}

so ed its a takeover rather than investment? {ed's note - I believe that to be the hold up, the current board were only really wanting investment, but instead they have found people want to take over control.}

ed how likely do you recon the takeover is and is there any other guys except from risdale intrested in buying the club and thanks so much for replying to my questions. {ed's note - I only know about Ridsdale and it does seem likely, unless someone else comes in with a better offer. It doesn't look like there is much interest in investing, people see it as throwing money away unless with the current board in place. Well, at least that was what I was told anyway. Hopefully the info is wrong, because if Ridsdale takes over I really fear for the future of Argyle, he leeches money away even from clubs in crisis.}

how long will it take till the takeover is completed? {ed's note - I couldn't tell you that sorry.}

ok thanks editor for replying to my questions just one more question what do you recon will happen to argyle? {ed's note - I think Ridsdale will take control and will run the club further into the ground while lining his own pockets.}(1)(0)

Peter risdale who is know as a villian could well be the hero for argyle but face competion from other people and i know one guy whos also in talks is really rich and richer than a few premier league owner so its out of him joe plumeri, peter risdale who looks the most likely to be the new investor but he will be a investor who clears of debts and gives reid money but who know he might be than a investor cause if england don't get 2018 bid he probaly be the owner. the new investor or the new board member could be confirmed soon as next week regardless of the 2018 bid this will new investment will save plymouth argyle.

the other guy is chris dawson even though football is not his number 1 thing hes a sport person.(5)(2)

To the fool who said this

Charlie Austin says he wants to further his football career and is prepared to move home if necessary. His future does not lie with Swindon and a loan move today to Burnley is on the cards. Reports say the Clarets are to offer him a permanent deal in the new year and are prepared to pay 1 million plus for his signature.

Charlie Austin is already home as he was born just outside of swindon, He won't be going anywhere as he's about to add an extension to his contract which still has 2 years on it.

Our board will only consider an offer if it was in the region of 2 million plus which is around the same as we sold simon cox for.

The player likely to leave would be sean morrison who is being watched by a host of clubs.(12)(8)

Mark Viduka is considering coming out of retirement and is a target for Plymouth boss Peter Reid. 37 year old Viduka is 2 months into an intense fitness and conditioning regime and has had preliminary discussions with Reid and Plymouth who are set for a cash injection in January. He has also spoken with Aussie side Sidney FC and New Zealand outfit Wellington Phoenix and may decide to stay closer to home. However, Viduka still has property in the UK and owns a complex of barn conversions in Devon from which he could commute to Plymouth quite easily.(19)(19)

Re: Clubs being bought. .

Sheffield Wednesday, Mandaric 99% certain to take over.

Plymouth, Ridsdale 80% likely (will depend upon the FA, as he's previously been at three clubs which got into trouble under his control). A third party was interested but Sir Roy Gardner declined to talk with them - hint, the leader of the group is a former Lieutenant Commander in the Royal Navy and stood for election in Plymouth Devonport earlier this year. This party, however, may stick around when Ridsdale cocks it up (it's inevitable, sorry Plymouth fans!)

There are also over 25 other clubs which may very well change ownership by May 2011. Also, the Football League has received word that an as yet unidentified club in the Championship is facing bankruptcy. If that club go under, they will have to restart their 'phoenix' club at Step 3 of non-league.

Also, I'm a neighbour of Charlie Austin and he has said that the rumours are very funny but not true. He is about to sign a new long-term deal at Swindon, and has said he's rather play with them than move to a club at which he'll be unhappy at. He lives in a beautiful part of Wiltshire, and wants to stay there with his girlfriend - he's even prepared to give up an England call just to stay where he is.

Wiltshire Chalkhills or Burnley. .no disrespect to Burnley fans, but where would you rather live?(15)(14)

Hearts going to be sold in jan after vlad walks away with his bag of cash and hearts go to div 3

Vlad won't sell and won't leave, unless inside a coffin.

Agree with the bit about Division 3 though - the club are financially screwed and will need a bail-out come March.

An offer of £5m for the club was rejected this week. Shows how nasty-minded Vlad is.(16)(16)

AFC Bournemouth's young striker Josh McQuoid could be leaving the Cherries outfit in January for a fee of around £500,000. Interest in the new Northern Ireland internation is said to be high, with Milwall and Southampton leading the chase. McQuoid, who has 12 goals so far this campaign, will be out of contract in the summer.

According to BBC Solent Sport, Millwall have agreed a loan deal with AFC Bournemouth for Josh McQuoid, which will become permanent in January. The fee is believed to be around £550,000.

Can confirm this is accurate - will it mean that Bournemouth will be able to have the embargo lifted as a result?(11)(10)

MATTY Fryatt rejected a loan move yesterday to Southampton as he tries to fight for his place in Svens team. If he hasn't made a few starts in December he will move on, possibly to Southampton should they be in the top 2 by the time the January window opens.
