Brian Jensen ex Burnley in talks with Bradford City

Would be great

26 Jun 2013 21:21:34
Great move for the beast

With Duke gone this rumour has some merit. The Beast can still do a good job for someone, and he's a genuinely nice bloke.

Patterson is alright, but he is basically a slightly better version of Andy Cooke (Ex burnley striker in the 90's-early 00's) He runs and runs and tries and tries. Sometimes he tries harder than anyone else on the pitch, which explains his highlights.

If you sign Brian Jensen, your catering staff will probably resign due to an astronomical increase in workload.

Wouldnt mind him coming in as what duke was doing, back-up player for mclaughlin and use him as a coach for the younger keepers at the club

25 Jun 2013 22:37:44
Ryan Bowman is wanted by Cheltenham and Shrewsbury aswell as Newport

He signed for York a few weeks ago

An average conference player who isn't prolific he will be too much like doble

He did - CTFC were interested before he signed, but in fairness when you are able to get Jamie Cureton, you can see why he was a bit less prioritised

25 Jun 2013 22:52:57
Marlon Pack and Harry Forrester to sign for Ipswich by the end of the week.

25 Jun 2013 23:12:28
Pact is signing for about 20 clubs lol

Forrester is Leeds bound according to all Brentford fans.

I can also confirm this! :)

Pack is a defensive midfielder and we've got Hyam and Skuse for that role + we couldn't afford compensation for Pack. Forrester I would welcome though. again though, compensation will be stumbling block.

How would any of the brentford fans know where Forrester is going? We all thought that Joel Grant was signing for Ipswich, look how that turned out

25 Jun 2013 22:02:33
Huddersfield looking at Norwich Double of James Vaughan and Jacob Butterfield.
Also released Simeon Jackson

26 Jun 2013 06:47:19
I hope vaughan still cums but i'm not holdin my breath plenty of other forwards out there ( b sharp, f campbell and maynard etc) but butterfield would be a TOP signing these guys a class act and would be perfect in middle of park wi clayton.
Paterson is not a bad signin if kept fit he'd get us 15 goal all day long and although the 3 signings don't fill us with excitement all 3 turned down other championship clubs to come here so we can't be only 1 to think the
gud enuff
Trueterrier

26 Jun 2013 08:29:21
Cant see Norwich letting Butterfield go on a premanant deal, maybe a seasons loan. Vaughan may be available. Jackson is a very good championship player and hope he goes to a good club like Hudds.

Hope this is true I would chip in a little for vaughan

These 3 and a centre back and our signings will be done. Still think we should offload a few though (higginbotham, robinson, lynch).

Fingers crossed this deal happens, its either 2.5 million for both or a swap with Jack Hunt.

That's 3.

That would make us serious playoff or promotion contenders, would be great but can't see us being able to pay both Vaughan and Jacksons wages due to fair play rules. Jackson supposed to be on 30k a week and the Terriers limit is 20k for any one player.

Not complaining if these 3 sign!

26 Jun 2013 11:29:16
I don't know why you keep banging on about a swap deal for Jack Hunt. This is never going to happen, we are not interested in him. We are currently working on a deal with Kyle Naughton who is country miles ahead of Hunt. And if you think you would get both Butterfield and Vaughan in a straight swap for Hunt you are mad.

I think you may get both, but Vaughan will be perm and Butterfield on loan. I still think a full season of games in the Champ to fully get over that injury and he could well offer plenty at Prem level. He could also flop again and leave next summer.

Immediate thought was Butterfield would be one of the prospective loans, which would still be a good deal. But am I the only one who if it was down to either or, would prefer Jackson slightly over Vaughan?

26 Jun 2013 12:54:05
Robinson is not a town player he was on on loan

Robinson isn't ours

No your not, simeon Jackson would be my choice if I had to pick one, Vaughan did ok for us don't get me wrong, but injury setbacks worry me!

Jackson over Vaughan? Close call but Jacksons wages were mid premier level, 30k a week and I can't see Dean Hoyle agreeing to pay that amount. Vaughan is a know quantity, he loves the club and fans so no settling in or risk.

Hunt is going nowhere and Town will hopefully secure Vaughan on a perm deal with possibility of taking Butterfield on loan. If can't get Butterfield HTFC looking at Henry from Wolves but Leicester also interested

Anton Robinson is ours, unfortunately, but he is injured and unlikely to be fit until December soonest.

Think they are talking about Anton, not Theo-although don`t think he`ll be going anywhere due to his long term injury.

25 Jun 2013 21:42:05
Simeon Jackson close to signing for Sheffield Wednesday after being released by Norwich. Connor Wickham (Sunderland), Kenwyne Jones (stoke) and Jamie Vardy (Leicester) on loan to Wednesday are all still possibilities.

Dave Jones refused to confirm or deny Kenwyne Jones but said we're definitely not in for Vardy

26 Jun 2013 11:35:29
No further news RE: St. Ledger to Wednesday? Initial rumours were very strong that that deal was very close to being tied up.

25 Jun 2013 21:37:01
Rotherham in talks with Michael Higdon who's rejected a new deal at Motherwell

25 Jun 2013 21:36:28
wba have tabled a bid for birmingham city young winger nathan redmond and have approached udinese over bringing in matej vydra on loan.

He's not available to loan to anyone other than Watford, only an €18m bid will prise him away from watford next season.

26 Jun 2013 00:40:05
As a Watford fan I don't think that is the case.
It's plausible that he could return but for it's only just that.

Watford fans are deluded if they think that they will get Vydra back. Will be playing for Udinese or be sold for the highest bidder.

26 Jun 2013 09:36:49
I can see Vydra being loaned to a Premiership club with a view to rejoining Watford if they get promoted. He doesn't want to play below the top flight, understandably, but the Pozzo model depends on both getting top dollar for the star players, and on Watford being in the top flight.

Vydras agent has confirmed that they have recieved 4 offers from england and will be speaking to all clubs regarding a loan. udinese wanted a sale but no clubs were prepared to meet the valuation.

clubs are wba, west ham, swansea, sunderland

26 Jun 2013 10:53:20
his agent has already said that he won't be playing in the championship next season, and there are 3 reported prem clubs that have inquired about a loan.

25 Jun 2013 21:28:40
Bournemouth are in talks with Derby county to try and agree terms over signing attackive winger Ben Davies to add extra fire power. Good player!

He signed new contract in summer

25 Jun 2013 23:05:48
He recently signed a new contract and stated he was happy at Derby

Signed a new contract not too long ago and Clough is a big fan of his work ethic and ability to come off the bench and make an impact.

I'd be shocked if he left.

25 Jun 2013 23:33:47
Plus, he isn't a winger.

25 Jun 2013 21:24:04
Ashley grimes has turned down Wycombe and burton and will sign for cheltenham town tomorrow or Thursday.

Looks like it, there's an article about it in local media today, so it looks likely - they got first two signings right before they were officially announced by the club.

Ashley is suppose to report for training tomorrow, so announcement is due for today or tomorrow.

26 Jun 2013 10:02:02
Grimes has signed a two year deal with Cheltenham.

Grimes will be confirmed today. 2 year deal.

Chuffed to bits to hear this one, and as you say, if the local media announce it, it tends to be correct.

The deal is off.

27 Jun 2013 18:47:49
How strange. Bury have signed somebody called Ashley Grimes as well. Do you think they are related?

25 Jun 2013 21:18:11
Cheltenham are close to agreeing a deal for Ashley Grimes.

2 year deal agreed

25 Jun 2013 21:14:33
Spotted former hull City striker, Caleb Folan, at Manchester airport with the Blackpool squad

Last thing we need is another 30 year old unwanted striker who has trouble putting the ball in the net!

I was spotted with the blackpool sqaud does this mean i'm going to sign and become a footballer.

Shame that they set off from liverpool.

What time and day was this?

Caleb Folan is training with us in Portugal.

Sunday, flying with Monarch, early morning

Ince said there will be trialists, but he is going to be very cautious about actually signing them as they often turn out crap. He will have to be pretty impressive to earn himself a contract.

I bet he sat in the wrong seat on the plane, he never could get himself in the right position.

25 Jun 2013 21:14:37
juvntus have agreed a fee with man city for striker carlos tevez.

25 Jun 2013 21:13:08
Huddersfield have signed Martin Paterson from burnley on a free. He's signed a 2 year contract with a option to extend a further 1

We are moving backwards with recent signins. going to be a long season.
Canadian Terrier

25 Jun 2013 22:12:35
What happend to our 'transfer policy of signing young up and coming players? Proves all you know it all town fans wrong. We sign a player based on needs of the club not a fictional transfer policy.

Another good signing. Watch the team take shape with the key addition of Vaughan and we will have a potent front line all of who can & have previously scored plenty of goals. Key now is a CB addition and who this may be?

If Paterson can stay healthy you have yourself a good hard working player capable of scoring 10 goals. Most Burnley fans including myself would have been happy to see him stay at Turf Moor.

Pato is a good player, our loss your gain, good luck pato, utc

Why all town fans moaning we don't have as much money as everyone thinks we do to spend on transfers and they not even kicked a ball yet give em a chance

26 Jun 2013 08:52:48
having watched pato for the last 5 years I assure you he is not potent. He's a tryer, works hard. But I can train my dog to chase a ball around a field relentlessly

Backwards! So Stead and Paterson aren't better than Novak and Lee then!?

Get real, we've got the FFP rules to abide by. We are progressing better than the likes of Burnley and Sheffield Wednesday and many others in the market at this moment in time, and we've not finished signing players yet!

Hammill 25 years old (nearing his prime), Paterson 26? (nearing his prime), Stead 30 (ok maybe past his prime age but got Hudds at heart and has some experience, presence etc), Vaughan 24 (hopefully will sign, can still get better with regular games), Butterfield 22 (will hopefully sign, bags of potential if given regular games and settles at a club, he was Barnsley's youngest ever captain!).

Keep the faith, you don't realise how good we have it as Town fans these days. remember the Ken Davey days and before that, dull, boring and uninspiring times and we were skint!!

Come on, stop whinging!

Im a burnley fan and to be quite honest i'm glad he's gone, he only ever had 1 good season for us, he gives everything, lots of huff and puff, always yards off side, had some terrible injury periods, maybe youll want mcann, last season paterson and mcann were our worse players, perhaps a change of clubs is best for both parties,

26 Jun 2013 11:00:50
he's a good player when fit. it's a gamble but he can score goals.

Paterson is only 26 and an Irish (Northern Ireland) International. OK not young, but definitely not old so surely that's got to be seen as a damn good free transfer! The guy gives 100% and was our top scorer the season Burnley were promoted to the Premier League!

If Pato can stay out of the treatment room, he should do a good job for you. Good quality Championship striker when he's on form.

25 Jun 2013 20:52:40
Luke Steele will sign a new contract with Barnsley tomorrow.

Steele signed a 2 year deal now :-)

Steel signed a two year contract today, happy days :)

Signed 2 year deal

Steele has signed for 2 years

All out of contract player now signed new contract can't be all bad.

Not sure about the Luke steel thing,
He's never been my cup of tea,
Great shot stopper that's it for me,
Not sure he even wanted to stay,
Proberbly short of options, but he as signed good luck to him.

25 Jun 2013 20:36:24
Bournemouth want Thomas Eisfield on loan from Arsenal

25 Jun 2013 20:33:49
Cheltenham Town have agreed a 2 year deal with midfielder Ashley Grimes.

Confirmed by the Gloucestershire Echo today.

25 Jun 2013 20:05:48
Swansea City set for striker Matej Vydra loan bid, according to agent

25 Jun 2013 22:14:15
His agent has been spouting a load of crap about every club in the world being interested in Vydra - if you ain't buying, you ain't getting him

26 Jun 2013 00:42:01
I think he might go out on loan to the premiership but he'll have to sign a new permanent contract first, could even sign for Watford then move out on loan.

So if no one buys where does he go? Certainly not Watford as the player would rather go on loan to a premiership club than a championship one

The ratio of players linked with the swans is more than 1 a day now, can't see us wanting to loan a striker unless its back up

I think the Jacks are favorite for a loan deal since the play in Europe and they need strikers. For a permanent deal not sure though. We need to play wel this season to gain more recognition internationally. It will give us more appeal to match our ambition

25 Jun 2013 20:03:06
Tony Mowbray has said Boro close to other signings after the capture of Varga. he emphasises quality although this must be taken in context of where the club is at with fairplay regulations coming into force. Could be an interesting couple of weeks and lots of names who have appeared on here will not be signing. You have been warned.

I predict Danny Graham and Maghoma will be in. And quite possibly Whitehead

25 Jun 2013 19:54:22
Tottenham duo Alex Pritchard and Harry Kane to sign for Peterborough on loan

25 Jun 2013 22:03:36
Pritchard yes Kane no

Pritchard yes, and potentially kane, after gayle's been sold. though he's played the last season playing for norwich and leicester, so I doubt he';; play in L1

25 Jun 2013 19:47:24
Marvin Sordell will be allowed to talk to Charlton when Bolton complete the signing of Jermaine Beckford.

Charlton are still hoping to make Dale Stephens part of the deal.

Would love Marvin to be an addick by next season, really do rate him and to be honest, he's better then Danny Haynes!

Good player, great potential and need a good st. I don't know why we r getting rid of dale, he is our best cm in my opinion :/

26 Jun 2013 10:35:54
Hope this is true. Sordell is useless.

26 Jun 2013 11:00:19
Bolton are in desperate need of a striker or two in my opinion. Beckford would be a good signing, if Sordell is allowed to leave which I don't think he will then I would re-invest the money in taking James Vaughan from Norwich, Beckford & Vaughan know each other well playing together while on loan at Huddersfield last season, scoring 22 goals between them in the process.

Good player, great potential and need a good st. I don't know why we r getting rid of dale, he is our best cm in my opinion :/
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Best centre mid? Did you go to any of the games last season and see a certain captain fantastic called Johnnie Jackson play? You must be joking.

26 Jun 2013 14:59:53
I hope signings like beckford are short term solutions. And upon our return to the PL next season, we once again bring in the quality we were used to under big Sam. Vaughan!?! We really have hit rock bottom if we're going for players like that. Dross!

Jackson is good, don't get me wrong, but dale is younger and is probably low bpl standard.

Please tell me you are joking dale Stephens is an average league one player and plays a good ball every few months should of taken the cash when villa came in for him

Sorry but the person who is saying Stephens is better than Jackson really needs to get their head looked at. How on earth can be Stephens be better than our equal highest goal scorer and one of our highest assist makers?

25 Jun 2013 19:36:05
HTFC have signed striker Martin Paterson - Free transfer.

Just need Vaughan now and we're have the makings of a good team

On official site another good bit of business utt

25 Jun 2013 19:12:21
Luke Rooney is finalising a contract with Cheltenham following a small fee that was agreed between them and Swindon.

Not True, has agreed a deal with Crawley

26 Jun 2013 10:08:54
Small five figure fee has finally been agreed, contract was agreed weeks ago.

Rumours of him going to Crawley are rubbish.

Rooney doesn't want to move house and has stated he wants a deal with a club in the area, he would be perfect for Cheltenham, he is a good player who IMO never got a decent run at town, his off field antics seem to get in the way

They don't even get 6000 do they yeah no doubt they might have got that for the playoff semi but thought it was more like 5000. Great manager Uwe though.

25 Jun 2013 19:05:41
Burton Albion will accept an undisclosed bid from Crawley Town for striker Billy Kee. This will allow them to bring in Barry Corr from Southend, re-sign striker Matt Paterson and bring in another as of yet unnamed striker.

Don't need to sell Billy Kee to be able to afford Corr and other strikers.

Zola has left an Justin Richards has not been permanently replaced. Would like Paterson to stay but looking unlikely now so we need another striker anyway.

If Robinson gets a sniff of a BIG pay off from Crawley he will take it if it covers the wage bill for the year! He's not a good businessman for nothing!

26 Jun 2013 00:00:58
Crawley skint now we only looking for free transfers

Kee moved to Burton to be near his home, he will not go back down south again.

Crawley want Tubbs not Kee

Crawley have made a bid and Kee wants to go.

Billy Kee is going nowhere except Spain with the Brewers pre season training, and will play for Albion this season as he signed a three year contract. The club don't need to sell him as they are financially stable.

Barry corr signed a 2 year deal with Southend this morning

Barry Corr just signed 2 year deal at Southend

When Billy was playing for Torquay, he was homesick and decided to come to Burton to be closer to home (Loughborough) so I doubt he'll be off to Crawley.

Corr just signed a two-year contract with Southend.

Corr signed new deal at southend happy days

Barry Corr has signed a 2 year deal with Southend United

Kee is off to Crawley, done deal. Robinson wants the dosh.

Crawley Skint??? Think again.

Disappointed that Corr decided to re-sign for Southend. Paterson will re-sign shortly and I believe the other striker is from Derby.

Kee is staying at burton and so is weir

25 Jun 2013 19:00:05
Kevin Davies has agreed a 1 year deal with Sheff Weds. The deal will be announced shortly after a medical.

26 Jun 2013 11:49:44
Barry Corr has signed a new contract at Southend.

Burton are keen on reopening talks with Michael Symes who was on loan from Leyton Orient last season and would be allowed to leave the Londoners on a free.

25 Jun 2013 18:34:11
Josh Gillies is to attend pre season training with Carlisle tomorrow.

Gillies signed a 2 year deal today, and Miller a one year deal with an option for a further year.

The miller bit is correct, but as for the other part, Fibber.

Gillies has signed so how is that a lie?

Gillies has signed so it is correct, go and do your research!

Gillies has signed. do some research.

25 Jun 2013 18:18:48
West Brom to sign eitha Kenwyne Jones or Darren Bent

And I'll be having George Clooney, Uma Thurman and Leonardo Di Caprio around for beers and curries later. {Ed003's Note - nice}

No and no

Give the kids there chance, forget these donkeys on big money

Can someone phone dan ashworth and get us some decent signings please

I personally think darren bent would be a good signing. at least he is engl;ish. I agree no to kenwynne jones. why is it everybody we are linked with every other premier club seems to be linked with the same player and usually put in a bid. why are we always left behind

25 Jun 2013 22:59:45
Bent seems very unlikely as it's been reported Villa want £8 million and I can't see Albion paying that + he doesn't exactly hold up the ball well so wouldn't see him fitting in to Clarke's chosen style of play.

Kenwyne Jones, possibly interested, would depend on what Stoke want in terms of a transfer fee, he could do with swapping sides and if he could get back the form he showed at Sunderland he'd be a good addition.

Dan Ashworth doesn't work for west brom anymore

Dan ashworth works at the fa now. Where do these people come from really?

My God listen to all you moaners! I bet you were the same fools who whinged last season and then we brought in Yacob and Lukaku who were two of the signings of the season for a combined fee of NOTHING!

Relax, the window isn't even officially open yet and you can bet your bottom dollar we'll pull something out of the hat like we usually do.

Ashworth can only look at the english pool of players know, that won't take long, I bet he knows of a few good foriegn players, give him a bell peace,

26 Jun 2013 11:16:29
West Bromwich Albion are weighing up offers for Birmingham City winger, Nathan Redmond and Udinese forward, Matej Vydra.
Redmond who has attracted interest from Fulham, Crystal Palace, Norwich City and also Liverpool with a couple of those making £2 million offers.

Matej Vydra who was a hit at Watford last season has attracted more than a few teams with the likes of Sunderland, Swansea City and West Ham United all looking at the forward.

Yossi Benayoun and Franco Di Santo are looking to be the main free transfers so far for West Brom with Yossi looking to impress Clarke with his fitness training.

25 Jun 2013 18:16:13
Gillingham have won the race to sign Britt Assombalonga on a season long loan from Watford. Fending off several league one and league two teams.

Would love that to be true

Very unlikely to happen, very good player but cannot imagine him coming to the Gills but instead going to a Championship club and being stopped from playing against Watford? If true well done Martin Allen!

Would be nice!

Not going to happen. It was reported that he is set to sign for sheffield united on a season long loan, once the transfer market opens.

I haven't seen any interest from championship clubs. Wouldn't get in the team here at Watford so I don't think they mind where he goes, as long as he gets game time. Only 19 still

26 Jun 2013 08:57:55
Would be good for his football education, more game time in a higher league under a great manager. Hope it happens!

Although this is possible, it is unlikely any kind of decision will be made until GZ has seen him in pre-season action

26 Jun 2013 15:49:19
Carlos Salcido has declined an offer to join Watford for the season. Interest has been high for the Mexican international after displaying his talents in the confederations cup, however his agent has hinted he is likely to go elsewhere; with the Premier league the likely destination.

Salcido moved back to Mexico because he was homesick. Wouldn't it be a bit strange for him to suddenly change his mind again after not that long?

Tomlin has just signed for port vale

25 Jun 2013 18:09:19
Shrewsbury are interested in Saido Berahino from WBA on loan. Liam Boyce could still sign but interest has cooled of late. STFC's out of contract defender Jermaine Grandison has rejected his new contract offer but GT may offer him an improved deal. GT also wants a new right back in his squad for next season.

He was west brom 7th top scorer last season with 0 goals

25 Jun 2013 17:54:27
Crystal Palace are said to be eyeing up moves for Birmingham winger Nathan Redmond. Holloway's a fan of the young Englishman and sees him as the ideal player to fill the void left by Wilfried Zaha after he left to Manchester United.

Crystal Palace's attempts to sign Peter Odemwingie look to be off after they were priced out of a move due to West Brom's asking price. Javier Acuna also looks set to snub Crystal Palace in favour of staying in Spain and instead relocating to Espanyol.

Yohan Mollo, of French side Nancy is said to have caught the attention of the Crystal Palace coaches, however they face stiff competition in the form of Southampton and Fulham for the young Frenchman.

Blackpool centre back Alex Baptiste is also thought to have come under a controversial bid from Ian Holloway as Palace look to strengthen for the new Premier League campaign. Baptiste was thought to have agreed terms with Bolton a few weeks ago for a free transfer move, but Holloway is now trying to convince Baptiste to snub Bolton and instead join up with Holloway at Selhurst Park.

So everyone has snubbed Palace and Ollie is trying to snatch his old Blackpool players.

Cant wait for the DJ Campbell rumours to start.

25 Jun 2013 20:28:19
I don't think Redmond would like Ollys style

If a player wants to join Palace - fine.
If he does not want to join - whatever the reason - then Palace have lost nothing!

Maybe WBA will lower asking price since they have received no bids

I wish everyone would stop with the nonsense that Baptiste is going to Palace. Holloawy moans about other teams doing the dirty on him then he is rumoured to be doing the same.

Baptiste has signed a pre-contract agreement with Bolton and will rubber stamped when his contract runs out next week ans will unveiled as a Bolton player. Holloway wants to prctise what he preaches.

Redmond would'nt like holloways stlye, what's that then attacking and makes sure the ball is always played out wide then delivering, which suits all wingers. And Freedman had a contract with Palace similar to what baptiste has with Bolton. let's hope Baptiste doesn't make the silly mistake Freedman does and turns down a premier league team for a club clearly mid table in the championship next year.

3 mill for odemwinge is more than fair if we don't get 3 mill he will stay ay wba more chance of palace winning the prem than albion lowering there price

Redmond will go to wba

If WBA don't sel odemwinge then they end up paying him big wages for another year to sit on the bench and loosing him for nothing, even they wouldn't be that stupid

Im a wba fan and I will guarentee you our chairman jeremy peace will not sell him for les than 3 mill personally I would just get rid of him

25 Jun 2013 16:34:44
Ryan Humphreys is on trail with Notts County. Is a youth striker from Blackburn Rovers.

25 Jun 2013 15:14:40
Ex-Grecians keeper Rhys Evans has signed a 1 year deal with conference club Hereford.
James Bittner has been in talks with an unknown league 2 side.

25 Jun 2013 18:33:37
Swansea City have given up the chase of Bafetimbi Gomis and have turned their attention to Wilfried Bony.

Im pretty sure, everybody will agree that the most important signing for the next season is the signing of at least one proven striker. We have been linked with lots of excellent strikers BUT we have signed noone yet. I dare to ask, are we making serious bids? Are we just pretending?. Are we provoking a rift with Laudrup? When Laudrup starts training in five days and no striker has been signed. then there will be one hell of a row, I guess because he want the players to be signed quicly in order to have plenty of time to work with the new players. There is a lot of work to be done because Europe League is starting early.

Don't worry chill plenty of time yet

I think it's either Gomis or Bony to be signing! Aubamyang has rejected Swans so he's out of the question!

Relax the transfer window isn't even open yet

The 2nd comment is right. The secret to a good season is an even better pre season training. The Jacks are in europe this season and that will wear the team a lot. Mönchengladbach struggled last season in the Bundesliga after finishing fourth last term. at least 70% of the transfers should be done in the next week to be able to prepare the team for next term b/c I hope the qualify for Europe for another season.

Grow up, selling clubs and players are holding out for the best deal

^ The board are moving a lot quicker than usual for transfers in preparation for the upcoming season. This is likely to show Laudrup that they have his full support (just not his agent).
Unless Laudrup actually resigns (for which he will receive no pay-off), he'll still be calling the shots when the season starts.

Personally, I hope this Bony deal transpires, more so than the Gomis one. And Pierre, who has basically told us to do one may have shot himself in the foot by doing so.

To explain, he publicly states that his dream is to one day play for Real Madrid. Who is the current fans favorite to manage the club now and in the future? None other than our own, Michael Laudrup.

Think we're looking good for next term, as long as the players coming in have the right attitude, I believe we will yet again be turning heads (hopefully not through sitting at the bottom of the table though!).

I think its for the best imo. Gomis can be lazy and inconsistent and add to the fact he is probably demanding high wages. On the other hand Bony would be a hugely welcome addition to Swansea.

25 Jun 2013 18:32:15
lot of talk that afc wimbledon are signing akinfenwa! would be a great signing

Akinfenwa would be a good signing for anybody.

Not going to happen! Someone has made up that he's been seen and everyone is buying it.

Where are the rumors from? Apart from the fact I read he wants to come back to London. last time I heard he was considering offers from Scotland.

I wish we could afford Akinfenwa. BEAST MODE ON.

Well seeing as Northampton released him due to his high wages I highly doubt we could swing him. Plus I don't think he is the kind of player Neal would go for. But still would be a great player to have around for the entertainment factor haha

26 Jun 2013 01:13:46
Dons to sign Mambo, Francombe and a Striker in the next week

This is purely recycled rumours from same source. We do not have anywhere near Northampton's budget and additionally he wasn't always a guaranteed starter. Also I'm not sure he's the type of player Ardley would go for, I'd be very surprised. Clearly scores goals and a great character from what I've seen, but Good player + wrong price = wrong player.

Francomb signed.

Akinfenwa is in talks and met Ardley last Monday. He WAS at the training ground. Does not mean he will sign but we have made an offer.

Reading have signed USA international Danny Williams for £3m, confirmed by RFC and media.

25 Jun 2013 18:22:19
Swansea are being linked with Wilfried Bony of Vitesse Arnhem, who scored 31 goals in 30 league games for Vitesse last year. Although it looks like they will demand too much for Swansea's liking and will have to look elsewhere for the prolific striker they are looking for.

Swansea close in on bony

Arnt they quoted as saying swans have made a very firm offer

25 Jun 2013 17:38:20
tony capaldi to join york to reunite with nige worthington?

Is he any good? Never replaced Meredith. Don't need another Blanchett!

He played for cardiff in the championship a few years back, has just been released by oxford. more of an old head with experience than a world beater in my opinion, but he may well be a better option than fyfield- the only left back at the moment

Can see danny parslow starting at LB unless we pick someone up soon.

25 Jun 2013 15:13:41 Hartlepool United are set to sign Jack Compton.

25 Jun 2013 17:49:03
Marlon Harewood has been training with Rochdale. Unknown whether this is with a view to signing for the league two club or a favour from Keith Hill so he can stay fit whilst he is currently unattached

Keeps doing the rounds this story, I believe it's so he can keep fit, as Dale can't afford his wages.

bramble coming back to ipswich

25 Jun 2013 19:40:01
I hope not. Even though i'm a Boro supporter Ipswich are close to my heart and he is garbage

No he isn't! Mick hasn't even spoken to him, change the record bored now

This has been ruled out by MM, bad rumour.

To be fair, MM hasn't ruled it out, he said if Titus was to approach him and not want stupid wages, he would consider it.

Titus Bramble has played 292 games in PL and someone above thinks he is 'garbage. ' If anyone knows who posted that comment just take him to one side and have a word.

For what it's worth MM has quashed rumours that TB would be joining ITFC on the grounds that we would not afford his wages.

25 Jun 2013 16:24:02
Newcastle United have again expressed an interest in West ham Central Defender James Tomkins. Although West ham have issued a "Hands off" warning its thought that a realistic bid of around £8m may prize him away from the Hammers

They don't even play him so why would they issue a 'hands off' warning? I would also think that he would be available for cheaper than 8 million IMO

25 Jun 2013 16:51:50
Former Spurs midfielder John Bostock has joined Charlton on a 6-month deal.

He gets around, he's joining everyone?! HA HA!

Good player - why only 6 months?

Funny not on charltons official web site?

Worth a punt could be a good addition with not a lot of risk has obvious talent and may flourish under SCP

Blackpool are the front-runners for Scott Sinclair, according to sources. It is thought the sea-siders will look to bring in the Manchester City forward on an initial loan to replace out-going Tom Ince. tv have reported that Cardiff have agreed a fee with Blackpool for England Under-21 International Ince, and Blackpool will use some of the £8m fee to entice Sinclair into a season-long move.

Sinclair is prem player mow

The bid for Ince has being REJECTED. Cardiff not coming back in with an improved offer {Ed003's Note - Their wasn't a bid their was an enquiry as to how much Pool would want for him,that has finally been cleared up today.}

Ludicrous, sinclair won't drop out of the prem

Let's hope so that would mean we sign ince!

Think he is interested in going back to Swansea
Swansea need to make number of UK Players up, so may suit both parties

In which way ed did they accept or decline {Ed003's Note - several clubs have enquired as to how much the lad would cost as of yesterday no clubs have got back with any bids mate.}

I really don't know why people aren't chasing Sinclair like they are Ince. Sinclair was decent in the Championship and the Prem with Swansea so please take him and leave Ince with us. Sinclair would probably be cheaper although his wages will be a lot higher. I do think Ince has better potential though.

Because he's out injured until September the earliest

Sinclair why not Rooney DREAM ON more likely to go to palace with hollerway, Sinclair stared with him at Bristol rovers. Hold onto ince if he will stay.

25 Jun 2013 16:38:17
Ipswich close to signing released St Etienne midfielder Guirane N'Daw on a permanent contract. This being after McCarthy refused to rule out signing the loan midfielder last season.

Him or Jamie O'Hara would be good. although I think with Skuse and Hyam in the squad, we need a more attacking central midfielder.

Think he would be a good edition to the club, he is a strong physical player who done well for us on loan last season.

I can tell you he is not mate

Not true

Didn't he already sign for Rochdale?

25 Jun 2013 15:08:46
Kevin Davies in talks with pne over strikers position nothing definite as yet to signing early stages of discussions

He's looking for the biggest pay day possible.

He's been at a couple of League 1 clubs and some Championship clubs all down the road from his Lancashire base seeing who will pay the best wage.

Cant see PNE compete with Sheff Weds or Burnley on wages

PNE won't pay more than Blackpool who have already had talks with Davis.

25 Jun 2013 14:59:55
Swansea City have made a 'very serious' bid to sign Vitesse and Ivory Coast striker Wilfried Bony - according to reports in Holland. The 24 year old, who scored 31 goals in 30 games in the Eredivisie, is rated around £12 million. Newcastle and Russian club Anzhi are rumoured to be interested.

As are Fulham and apparently half the premier league

26 Jun 2013 11:15:10
Newcastle have already placed a Bid of 21 Million

£21m for a £12m rated player. That makes perfect sense!

27 Jun 2013 11:32:07
sorry typo 12 mill I meant

Corr, Tomlin and Clohessy all off. Cresswell stays!

Tomlin joining Gillingham

25 Jun 2013 15:37:57
Fulham will make a bid for man city man Scott Sinclair, they will also look to Darren Bent and Dennis Aogo. Aogo would be used at left back instead of a cm

Karl Sheppard will look to complete a deal to stay at Shamrock Rovers, rather than returning to Reading

Scott Sinclair and Bent would be great additions. Does anybody know if Sogo is any good.

25 Jun 2013 15:27:16
Chelsea striker issues became a little more confused today with news that a fee of £49.3m has been agreed for Edison Cavani of Napoli. What add's more spice to the deal is that Rafa Benitez wants Jon Obi Mikel and Ramires from Chelsea in his Napoli side. These two could be used as make weights in the Cavani deal. Meanwhile, Man city who refused to meet Cavani's asking price are licking their wounds whilst contemplating who to target next (wilfried bony is a name on the shortlist). Manchester United are also interested in Cavani and are contemplating bidding for the Napoli striker.

Nice piece of fiction, Ramires is a class player and not a make weight, he won't be going anywhere

Napoli have already said that they don't want players as part of the deal, the fee is £53.6m cash (if I remember correctly)

25 Jun 2013 15:26:03
Southend trio all set to leave
Barry corr - burton
Sean clohessey - mk dons
Gavin tomlin - gillingham

Tomlin tipped to sign for Gillingham on the 1st July when his contract expires officially. I'd imagine the same is true for Corr and Clohessy but only know about Tomlin.

Would love to see Clohessey at Burton.

Wrong on corr!

Well we (MK) won't be signing him (club policy-no new players) so there's a good chance Burton will. Hope he does well with you if he joins.

Corr has just signed a 2 year deal, he is going nowhere

Why would Clohessy go to Burton when he has interest from Bradford? Let's face it fellow Southend fans, John White is signing soon so its a clear indication that Clohessy is leaving. However, he wouldn't go Burton in League 2 when he has interest and probably better wages from a League 1 team (Bradford)

Tomlin always looked like he had ability, be nice to see him back at Gills!

Has Adam Chicksen signed his contract with mk dons yet. Does anyone no or his he going to another club.

Chicksen has seen sense and is preparing to bail out while he still can. Not a first choice player and doesn't want to be stuck under the glass ceiling between us and the Championship for his whole career. He should escape while he has the chance. Good luck with your career Adam.

:- (

Clohessey is not moving to MK Dons. The Dons manager has said he isn't bringing in any defenders as he has six already and is happy with them. Incidentally that would mean Chicksen has either signed a contract or is close to doing so.

Chicksen is going. He wants to save his career from stagnating with us.

He deserves better in all honesty.

25 Jun 2013 13:48:46
Wigan are chasing Scott Carson as they fear that Al-Habsi will not be fit for the start of the new season after his operation. A bid of 400k has been lodged. It is also thought that Crystal Palace are interested.

25 Jun 2013 13:41:51
ITFC amount clubs chasing out of contract Middlesbrough midfielder Baily but with clubs like QPR and Reading also linked wages are going to prove a stumbling block. {Ed029's Note - Doubt there's interest from Reading. A midfielder flew in from Germany for talks yesterday, and we're rumoured to have offered Lopez a contract from Brighton.

From what I hear from a few boro fans that baiey wants to move back down south

Lopez isn't going to reading

Lopez will come back to brighton

{Ed029's Note - The midfielder I referred to above signed today. USA international Danny Williams. I'd be surprised if we wanted another CM unless we are selling as well. Real Mallorca have offered Lopez a contract.

Keep your hands off Lopez. Brighton fan

Yes lopez is a reading player now mate cum on

Ive just checked that and your right it does say he plays for reading

Reading haven't got Spanish players their but Brighton do

Doubt we'll be after anymore Midfielders. We currently have Williams, Karacan, Carrico, Guthrie, Leigertwood and Akpan and that just in the Centre. We will sell or loan out before we bring in anymore our target now would be a striker.

David Lopez didn't turn up for training Monday. He's waiting to see who the new Albion manager is.

Baileys a good player just in wrong position last season I'd play him week in week out instead of lead bitter, opinion from a boro fan

Bailey was our (boros) best player. Just didn't get played enough back end of last season

Bailey was not our (boro) best player, he was over weight and the only thing he was good at was putting a tackle in from time to time and that was only because his passing was s*** so he would have to follow it up with a tackle.

25 Jun 2013 13:17:51
Jermaine grandinson to leave shrewsbury for barnsley on a free transfer after he rejected a new contract at shrewsbury

Is he any good

Who is he?

Well compo would be needed plus he's out till december

Grandison is a legend and you are not having him.

No doubt about It if we want him we will take him, if he no good we won't

Out till december

YOU DON'T KNOW WHO HE IS? trust me he will be a fans favourite after a day and when we got promoted the other season he sang a song. Go on grandison your a championship player. God bless you mate. GRANDISON! Please give the fans sommat to smile about because they haven't recently but we would rather you to stay grando. One of the best right backs in the football league

This is clearly false, as Turner said that talks between Grandison and the club are ongoing. Besides, he's out injured for the rest of the year, so it's very unlikely another club will sign him.

25 Jun 2013 13:05:13
Brian McDermott has been told he must sell players urgently in order to solve issues Leeds United's dreadful cash flow situation, and is said to be furious that promises made to him about summer investment haven't been kept.

Grayson and Warnock had to sell Leeds best players like Gradel, Howson, Snodgrass and Becchio so McDermott must have been mad to believe the promises of Bates/GFH or whoever is running the club.

25 Jun 2013 16:33:24
Good old Leeds! See you at the Boro this season!

Bs, he's been given the go ahead to make his signings

Where's your info come from. Another rumour with no background. Maybe GFH are skint but until the transfer window's been open for a week or so let's hold judgment until then

It's on tv he came out and said he has to sell to buy unless we get investment and we have had enquiries about a couple of players. Same old leeds

Just been on local news - leeds united to sell to finance signings

It's past a joke, looks like a relagation fight this season - even barnsley are putting a better squad together than us

25 Jun 2013 12:50:28
Doncaster Rovers in talks with the following 3 Goalkeepers, Ross Turnbull, Steve Harper and a surprise Herrique Hilario, Hilario is the main one who looks likely to be named as soon as Friday this week.

They're rumoured to be in for Shay Given (and Richard Dunne).

If its one of the 3 then Turnbull is the one for me. The others would be "Stop Gaps" because of their age.

If its one of the 3 then Turnbull is the one for me. The others would be "Stop Gaps" because of their age.

Steve harper has retired

Brian Horton appointed with Paul butler
Who ever he is, along with Dickov, have all had great success at being very UNSUCCESSFUl, only one signing
up to now, god help us, in for worst season ever!

He's not retired

26 Jun 2013 21:43:35
If DRFC do have these Irish backers let's just get 2/3 very good plyers in and NOT have all these rumours, we cannot afford 60grand a week players so come on Donny board come clean PLEASE!

25 Jun 2013 14:46:27
Shrewsbury Town looking take sign Derby striker Theo Robinson. and Bournemouth's Donal McDermott.

This Theo rumour keeps on returning. Despite his limitations as a player Theo would make a decent championship pl

Would be a very very good signing for you would be about 300-500k would score goals galore, poor player but works v hard and will get goals

25 Jun 2013 14:41:31
Yeovil set to miss out on Febian Brandy with the attacking midfielder looking likely to be sheffield united bound,
also likely to lose out on Dan Burn a player they had on loan last season with the Fulham defender set to be on his way to Birmingham on loan

Burn has already openly stated that he will happily go back to Yeovil as he enjoyed his time there so much

Brandy gone to sufc

25 Jun 2013 14:09:19
Gary Hooper will eventually sign for Norwich after failing 5 times to sign him. The deal involves grant holt going the opposite way to Celtic Park with a fee within the excess of 2M. Hooper will now travel to Carrow Road to have his medical. The deal was struck within the early hours of the morning. Chris Hughton side will look to improve their striking boots after a poor end to the season.

Oh I so hope this is true. Any 25 year old striker whose played in the Champions League plus against Barcelona and did his reputation no harm, is worth a place in my team.

Really believable rumour hope its true hooper is probably better than holt and younger than him too

Really believable rumour hope its true hooper is probably better than holt and younger than him too

25 Jun 2013 17:53:04
Norwich getting better deal here, 4m and holt would make it sweeter for the 'tic.

25 Jun 2013 17:59:38
There is not a chance that this will happen. Celtic are not interested in signing 31 year old players for a fee or in an exchange. They are more likely to sign James McFadden on a free transfer.

Didnt notice him on the pitch when celtic played barca. load of rubbish

Hope we do get him good player

Why would a deal deal be struck in the early hours of the morning? That sort of stuff comes into play the last few days of the window. At the moment the window is not even open. I doubt McNally is losing any sleep over negotiations just yet.

The last but one post where did this fairy story come from.

Poor end to the season? We beat West Brom 4-0 and Man City AT the Etihad 3-2, it was the 2nd league game in 48 games they'd lost at home. If that's a poor end to the season, I don't know what's fantastic

Given the right kind of support and the right kind of pass I still think Holt can do a good job for Norwich.

The last two games were good wins but city and brom hard nothing to gain by going all out to win, anyway can't see us swapping holt why would they want him, plus the fans seem happy to keep him, I'd personally like to see him go and see a younger player come in

25 Jun 2013 14:39:20
SL likely to bring in the following players, Bostock on a trial run and then offer a permanent contract judging on performance, Simeon Jackson is touch and go but likely, Steve Morison is not so likely to come back to the Den as he has said he wishes to prove himself at Leeds, Richard Chaplow and Tyrone Barnett

If this was all 'TRUE'? I would be very pleased! But we will see? And Morison is welcome to try & prove himself at Leeds, because I don't like his sulky/moody personality! IMO! COYL

Not bothered about Morison at all! & not that sure about Barnett either? He seems quite injury prone! If possible I'd have him on a loan deal 1st? Up to SL?

Probably is upto SL considering he's the manager.

25 Jun 2013 14:38:00
Burnley interested in forgotten man Darren Ambrose from Birmingham City - contact has been made.

25 Jun 2013 14:34:06
Martin Cranie close to agreeing new 2yr deal to stay at Barnsley, further talks due between player and club this afternoon

We've got him

Agreed signed this afternoon

He's signed a two year deal

Signed today official

Cranie signed 2year deal, only got steel to sign now and hopefully a few more fresh faces

He's signed a 2 year deal today

25 Jun 2013 14:29:42
Sources in Ukraine suggest that Norwich are interested in Newcastle target Brown Ideye, of Dynamo Kiev. Kiev are reported to want around £10million for the striker though norwich are holding out for a lower fee due to the players desire to move to the premier league. Newcastle are said to favour signing of Wilfried Bony which may encourage Ideye to a move to NCFC.

Don't be surprised to see brown at west brom

This player was rumoured as a Newcastle target.

25 Jun 2013 14:21:18
Kevin Davies has agreed a 1 year deal with Preston with an option of a further year talks went well today, the deal will be announced shortly after a medical.

25 Jun 2013 17:17:39
I don't think he's agreed a deal yet but I hope we do sign him.

We just need to get rid of Beardsley and Hume and maybe sign a young premiership striker on loan and then we'll look strong up front.

And a center half!

Kevin Davies has quite a few more clubs to talk to before making a decision who to sign for. Personally I think the only way PNE will get him is if there is a coaching position included.

Get rid of Hume :/ your on summat

26 Jun 2013 20:39:31
Hume's high wages are restricting us from bringing in other players and now with Robertson off the books hopefully we are closer to getting in a new striker.

25 Jun 2013 14:06:07
Daniel Ayala to go to Birmingham on a season long loan. May or may not be part of the Nathan Redmond deal already in place with Norwich.

Can not see this happening s we will sign dan burn and Kyle Bartley on loan whether Norwich have offed Ayala as the Nathan redmond deal to make sure that we sell to them dunno but what I would do with the redmond deal is have Kyle Bennett switch with redmond

Neither norwich or swansea adding loan defenders will increase their chances. the bids have already been accepted. 100% down to the player now.

26 Jun 2013 08:28:25
Who is Kyle Bennet? We have 2 Bennets at Norwich Ryan (CB) and Elliott (RW). Ryan won't be going anywhere, had a very strong finish to the season. Elliott is being linked with Villa. If you do indeed mean Kyle (i believe Elliotts brother, who plays at Doncaster?) and weren't linking this to the Norwich move for Redmond then fair play, don't know much about him other than his pace.

25 Jun 2013 14:05:39
West Brom set to put in a bid for Nathan Redmond

Good call, in our price range

25 Jun 2013 14:04:05
Swans linked to Wilfried Bony. Very good player. Fast, strong and good finisher. Better buy than Gomis IMO, plus he would have a good resale value in a few years since he is just 24.

25 Jun 2013 14:03:50
Saido Berahino and Lee Barnard are both set to sign for Shrewsbury Town on loan.

Meanwhile, Shrewsbury Town defender Darren Jones has been told he is surplus to requirements.

Newport County are the favourites to sign the "no-nonsense" defender.

Please let this be true of donkey ee-aw smash it long pub league style jones!

25 Jun 2013 14:02:19
Liam Boyce's move to Shrewsbury Town has been put on hold due to Cliftonville drawing Celtic in the Champions League.

25 Jun 2013 13:56:43
Ipswich to offer £2million for Grant Holt! I know what your thinking but a proven goal scorer in the championship. I could see him making a push for promotion

I think not. As if the tractor boy fans would accept a canary legend.

25 Jun 2013 16:32:59
This must be true, if you were a premier league striker why wouldn't you drop down a division, play for a no hope side, half your wages and ruin your cult status? All fantastic incentives I'm sure you'll agree.

I'm a Tractor Boy and and my view is that if a player is right for us, it doesn't matter who he's played for in the past. But this about Holt is pure nonsense because:
1. We couldn't afford £2m fee
2. We couldn't afford his wages
3. We already have 6 strikers on the books
4. He wouldn't come to us
5. We don't have any shirts with 50-inch waist

Utter rubbish he would never join us and we won't be paying 2million for anyone let alone an old budgie!!

Ipswich town are mostly relying on freebies because of there financial woes. So how are they going to have £2 million spare to spend on 1 player!

1. We don't have 2 mil
2. He wouldn't come to us
3. He wouldn't get accepted

HaHa - Yep I can just see Grant Holt going down a division - no chance this will happen.

25 Jun 2013 17:43:56
I have been told today we are in contact with n'daw any truth in this as I believe he is a decent phisicall player for the middle of the park

I have been told today we are in contact with n'daw any truth in this as I believe he is a decent physical player for the middle of the park

Haha ipswich financial woes? get your facts right matey :P

Pure lies

I keep hearing financial problems at town. We have an owner is 134 on the rich list and he loves the club.

Can you get in to your heads that we are taking the transfer market careful under the fair play rules with wages.
if you sign a player that is going to be in the millions you have a high wage structure.

We shall only sign good players if it's right. MM job is to sign players and get the best from them.

In Mick we trust and every true Ipswich fan knows that.

These rumours are getting out of controls. The only players seriously in the running to come to town are.

Harry Forrester
Chris Forrester
Ebanks-Blake
Joel Grant
Kirk Broadfoot
Alesandro Bedoya
Simeon Jackson
Williams
Marlon Pack
DJ Campbell

25 Jun 2013 13:39:43
Dan Burn will become a Yeovil player within the next week, although fulham rate the centre-back highly, he looks set for a move. Rumoured that Paddy Madden might go the other way

Bournemouth look set to test Burnley's resolve by putting in a good value bid for Danny Ings

Liverpool look set to sign another 3 players. Mingolet will complete his deal within the next 72 hours, matheus biteco of gremio will sign along with the signing of scott sinclair, with whom rodgers worked with at swansea

Burn will join Yeovil Town but it will be a loan deal only, we rate him too highly to let him leave.

This is not true because birmingham city will sign him on Loan for a season and have a look on sky sorts news go on birmingham city there is two players Clark would get in after they complete Medicals and they dan burn and Kyle Bartley

Dan Burn set to sign season long loan with birmingham

Dan Burn will not move permanently. Has said that he wants to stay at Fulham, but would like to have another loan move. Expect to see him in the Fulham 1st XI in the next two years though.

Just because tv says it's happening doesn't mean it is! They said Yeovil were signing febian brandy last week and that didn't happen! Dan burn is going to yeovil

25 Jun 2013 13:35:33
Walsall could turn to Torquay United striker Rene Howe with Febian Brandy about to sign for Sheffield United and Will Grigg strongly linked with a move to Brentford.

What can these 2 players be thinking of walking away from the mighty walsall and their imminent promotion push.

Has long as no midfielders leave we will be ok.

We will be fine. Got our defence and midfield all sorted. And Pato & Downing will be even better next season. In Deano We Trust!

Brentford will never be self sufficient with 4000 gates.

Never on the cards

25 Jun 2013 13:15:22
Reading have agreed a fee with Hoffenheim for 24 year old defensive midfielder and USA international Danny Williams.

The player flew in yesterday (Reading Chronicle) and is having a medical today.

This will make Mikele Leigertwood surplus to requirements and free up his move to Leeds United.

Signing now confirmed by the club.

25 Jun 2013 12:51:08
BREAKING PETERBOROUGH UNITED NEWS- Ricardo Fuller and Rory Delap are flying out to Ireland to train with the POSH team as they have just finalised deals to join the mighty POSH.

Yeah right, they definitely do not fit into our transfer policy of signing young lower league players, improving them and then selling them for a massive profit. These players will never sign for Posh

Posh don't fly out til the weekend - why would those two be going now?

25 Jun 2013 15:21:58
not bad since I saw Delap in Nottingham this morning

25 Jun 2013 16:34:33
is fuller not at Toronto in MLS or he is signing for them

Same old tosh from people who just don't get the Posh policy of young players.

Newcastle defender Curtis Good is joining Hartlepool on a season long loan.

25 Jun 2013 12:37:41
Kevin Davies has signed a 2 year deal (pending a medical) at Preston North End

25 Jun 2013 14:04:09
no he as not all he as done is had talks with Grayson and hemmings

25 Jun 2013 15:29:57
He's been spotted outside of Deepdale but I don't think a deal has been done yet. but we'll wait and see.

25 Jun 2013 12:31:31
After finally snatching Varga on loan, middlesbrough will now turn their attention in search for a new striker (or two). Sylvan Ebanks-Blake is set for talks with a number of clubs. Simeon Jackson is also being monitored.
Carlton Cole is one striker Mowbray would like but his wage demands would require moving McDonald on. Danny Grahams move has be discussed but no results so far.

Will be danny graham and nyle taylor most liekly as they don't demand much wages and will be cheap. Mcdonald is already going to move on, he is the reason we can't sign players we want!

Id have to agree the partnership of Danny graham and Lyle Taylor could be Middlesbrough front two this season, with mac and emnes probably leaving.

Mac won't be going anywer due to his overpaid wages. Emnes is somehow In moggas future plans so he won't be going anywer niether (sadly) and c'mon mogga well be playin the academy at this rate (only 1 signing - 8players gone)

25 Jun 2013 12:30:55
Rotherham winger Lionel Ainsworth to sign for Motherwell

The spl is such a poor standard if this is all the type of player it attracts

If that's true I think motherwell have a very good signing.

We were never in for him, way too old.

He's 25, did you reply to wrong post I. e Davis one

25 Jun 2013 22:26:04
25 is not old

25 Jun 2013 12:27:02
Richard chaplow set to sign for millwall after having a good loan spell also he's being released by the saints

Why would they release

Chaplow would be a great signing, really impressed on he's 4 games that he played for us on loan last season, he's best possibly against Boro away. But, it won't happen, even if he was to be released he's preference has always been up north with someone like Barnsley. Good player though, we can only hope.

Has anyone heard if Nicky Bailey has made up he's mind yet?

Chaplow has another year left on his contract so hasn't been released. If Millwall want him if we have to include a fee

Chaplow has another year left on his contract so hasn't been released. If Millwall want him if we have to include a fee

Just hope we sign some good quality players who are proud to wear the millwall shirt

25 Jun 2013 12:26:39
Nick Baily on his way to Burnley. Great signing. UTC

Im a boro fan and can say he is a decent player however attitude sometimes is his downfall when things ain't going well. also isn't the fittest play so can go missing in the last 10-15 mins of games which could prove to be crucial overall though a very good champ player and a steal on a free transfer for whoever gets him good luck nicky

25 Jun 2013 12:17:19
just seen higdon at barnsley ussssh big lad he is!

Yes slower to turn than an oil tanker

Hope your right but don't beleve you because club said were not interest any more

25 Jun 2013 19:30:41
no was seen at swfc training ground 25/6 2013

Said that about cog pal but look what happened

25 Jun 2013 12:17:02
Julio Cesar will sign for Arsenal for a fee worth 12 million

12 million? You sure about that?

More like 3m {Ed052's Note - Maybe 6-8}

25 Jun 2013 12:14:27
Yeovil will announce their first signing on Monday next week folowed by 2 more by close of the week once both have been released from their parent clubs. There are no big names here so do not get excited as Gary Johnson has stated they will fit the clubs recent strategy of "boy next door" players. Southampton player is sigining and one from Arsenal fringe and the other from Peterborough.

If they sign it will be this week, ready for pre season not next week during preseason

Players get released on the 1st July so that will be next week

Why do people persists in slagging off Fox. he was excellent in the Championship for us and gave his all in the PL. He just isn't quite good enought at the higher level. But he has always given his all and not sure you can ask much more. Good luck to him.

Well I said one from Arsenal and Southampton and awaiting word from Peterborough. Also in the frame is free agent from Championship who has turned down a deal to stay at his parent club. May prove high wages though which Yeovil do not want to commit to.

25 Jun 2013 12:09:25
Fraser Kerr will sign for Bradford City on July 1st

This is a true whisper Deon Burton has had talks with Bradford city if he signs or not is another matter

Another centre back?

Kerr signed for Motherwell.

25 Jun 2013 12:00:20
Bradford City are interested in Eliot Richards of Bristol Rovers.

They are more than welcome to him for a fee!.

Pay 200k and you will get a very good player

As a Bradford fan, what is he like? I heard he has a lot of potential which (if) we're in for him, that'll be the reason.

Have him for free! I'll even drive him up there!

Very good but a VERY lazy player

Product of the good youth development setup at brfc won't go cheap

Parky wouldn't sign any 'lazy' players, it doesn't fit into his team ethic.

Can be lazy but it didn't help he was forced out wide on his day he is nearly unstoppable in front of goal he just hasn't shown it enough

25 Jun 2013 11:39:37
Sanchez Watt to be a Colchester player this week

Are you sure?

Yes he has just signed for Colchester

Just signed!

Its official-watt is a mighty U's player-2 year deal

Signed today. get in there!

Not sure as don't wish to raise hopes but rumoured to be another prem club player signing later today!

25 Jun 2013 11:12:22
Paul Sturrock Could Become Brighton & Hove Albion's New Interim Manager

Interim Like Raffa!

Garcia is the new Brighton manager

Liam Brady seen at the Amex today, possible interim manager, he is mates with Dick Knight but Dick does not station himself at the club, heard a rumour he may be in line for the acadamy when it opens, he is still under contract at Arsenal, i'm not sure when it expires this year, anybody know?

Bloom doesn't want laim bradyn

Garcia has been named Interim manager today of BHA.

Garcia is not an interim manager he is a head coach which is a different name for a full time manager to get around the gus poyet situation he will be with us full time!

We still want to know why poyet got the bullet was he being touted for another job?

He's already said that he can't take this club any further. Why didn't he do the best thing and resign then?

25 Jun 2013 10:32:59
Bournemouth hope to do a double deal for Reading veteran duo Jason Roberts & Ian Harte to add experience for the Cherries Premier League promotion bid. {Ed029's Note - Roberts has extended his contract by a further year.

Harte maybe Roberts not a chance

Hope this is true. I will drive him there myself. COYR

They got knocked back on Roberts but Harte has rejected Leeds citing he fancies a move to Bournemouth so just a case of agreeing his wage demands which apparently Leeds failed to do.

25 Jun 2013 11:51:26
Mark little free signing to birmingham city after leaving LR this summer. Posh can't keep him.

25 Jun 2013 11:48:27
Maghoma has just signed for swfc on a three year deal. Another missed player by cafc

He ain't signed for no one yet but it will likely be middlesbrough as he is due at rocklife park this week

Funny how he is at Rockcliffe, Boro's training ground today looking around and talking to Mowbray. Due to sign next week (for boro)

25 Jun 2013 19:03:14
Amazing how he can be in Middlesbrough and Sheffield at the same time. Perhaps his identical twin is looking around the north east

25 Jun 2013 11:48:11
Carlo Ancelotti at Real Madrid means Gonzalo Higuain is on his way to Arsenal.

25 Jun 2013 11:26:27
Southampton full-back Danny Fox is a £750,000 target for Bournemouth if the Cherries are unable to seal a deal for Reading's Ian Harte. The move would suit Fox as he would not have to re-locate and the Saints are willing to take a loss on the out-of-favour Fox.

Doubt they would have to pay that much. Really hope this true and he go's

Good luck to Dan Fox, he gave his all and tried his hardest for us, that's all anyone can do.

25 Jun 2013 11:26:11
Kyle Dixon of notts county to join Northampton town on a six month loan deal

25 Jun 2013 16:13:59
He just signed his first pro deal, 6 months only at Notts. Why would they then loan him out for that period? That wouldn't make sense.

It does make sense. just think, if he doesn't impress at a league two club then why would we want him in league 1. but if he impresses then we might offer a new, longer contract.

Makes total sense. If anyone tries to sign him, contracted or not, they will still have to pay a fee, as he's a youth player.

Not going, non-story

25 Jun 2013 11:24:23
Cardiff's Wanyama bid rejected according to some Celtic fans and pages, they want the £12m Southampton offered. Cardiff will match this.

City have given up on Lyon's Bafetimbi Gomis, due to tough competition from Russian clubs and Ajax.

This is leaving Malky the option of either Jordan Rhodes or Darren Bent. With Blackburn wanting an excess of £8m for their Scotland international, Malky is erring towards Aston Villa's £5m man Bent.

BLOObird

Bent will want crazy money tho

He will join cardiff

Not interested in Bent, his goals come at too high a cost. Namely team work rate. He's so lazy!

Blue (red tit) bird.

He is going to join Cardiff City I just heard that Cardiff City are in talks with Wanyama, tv have also said but they're taking a bit of time updating their website like Tom Ince took them almost a day to find out and then another day to put it on their website

Cardiff carnt match celtic valuation

It's not that Cardiff can't match it, it's the fact that Cardiff don't agree with Celtic's valuation of the player

If Cardiff are willing to pay the £1m his agent wants then good luck to them! Good riddance I say.

25 Jun 2013 11:22:53
Bournemouth the latest club to show an interest in veteran free agent striker Kevin Davies. Wages would be no problem for the Cherries thanks to their Russian backer and Davies has played on the south coast before for Southampton.

25 Jun 2013 14:14:16
just been seen outside deepdale this morning, wants to stay up north near his home in bolton

Wages no problem? what abouit ffp.

Kelvin is not a free agent!

25 Jun 2013 11:17:46
Middlesbrough to sign Danny Graham on loan until end of season from neighbours Sunderland with a view to buy back the former Boro striker next summer to sweeten the deal Jason Steele will move to the SOL for £3. 0M plus add ons. Boro also trying to tempt a premiership bench warmer keeper to the Riverside on a free to cover Steele's departure Ross Turnbull & Lee Camp on Mowbrays radar.

25 Jun 2013 13:41:28
i think we should sign Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt player Mario Titone he is left winger or can play up front and is avalable on a free transfer at the end of the month

Di Canio is not interested in Steele. He wants a more experienced Keeper.

Danny Graham will not move to Middlesbrough as he wants to play in the premiership and Boro cannot afford his wages without moving McDonald on first. {Ed052's Note - Fraser Forster has been mentioned to replace Migs}

No approach for Steel from Sunderland. Boro will be wanting more than £3 mil for him anyway. As for Graham, Boro have inquired but haven't made a firm move yet.

Steele isn't going anywhere

If moggas smart he will keep steele for as long as possible by handing him a more generous contract. If not, he should get 3 mil and Graham on a permanent deal, and use the money to get a decent keeper like sheffields Long. or keep ripley

25 Jun 2013 11:15:41
Holt is going to Celtic on loan.

Please no. Don't need him, no European experience, doesn't fit the model at Celtic Park and we have already signed a 6'4 young striker.

No he isn't.

25 Jun 2013 15:24:49
Hope this isn't true last thing we need waste of a wage we've got 4-5 strikers who are better and younger.

25 Jun 2013 18:03:47
Never going to happen. Celtic are not interested in signing 31 year old players unless they are on a free transfer.

25 Jun 2013 11:00:45
Leighton baines will sign for PSG

Off to Manchester United with Moyes

25 Jun 2013 10:56:01
Reading have enquired about the availability of Leeds United striker Ross McCormack as a back-up plan if deals for Hooper and Austin fail to materialise.

Swap him for Federici.

And ALF {Ed029's Note - I really can't see Le Fondre leaving for anything less than a Premier League club. He certainly wont play for BM again having spent 2 years on the bench under his long-ball management.

25 Jun 2013 10:44:56
Burnley are in pole position to land released Middlesbrough midfielder Nicky Bailey.

I think his wife will have something to say about that as she is desperate to move back to London! If TRUE?

Think Mrs Bailey will have a say on this one! you are welcome to them both

Nicky Bailey is a good player and I am sad to see him leave Middlesbrough. Whoever gets him will have a good player that gives his all.

If he gives his all means by constantly whinging, overeating and pretending to be injured. then yes he gives his all!

25 Jun 2013 10:25:46
george francombe to sign for wimbledon according to rumours circulating about

Its not the 1st I've heard of this I've even heard he was at are ground last week it wudnt surprise me if he signs by the end of today if not the week

25 Jun 2013 14:38:02
its a definate. Ardley must have powers of persuasion, thought we had no chance.

Where else are these rumours circulating? I've only seen it on here. Be a good signing, but I'll wait until the ink has dried before I get my hopes up.

Could be our signing of the season if we can pull it off. I have heard that Crawley want him though.

Signed now, good rumour!

25 Jun 2013 10:16:27
Pilkington to leave Norwich and Join Newcastle on July 1st

25 Jun 2013 11:54:59
Will cost 7-8 Million at least. On his day a cracking player, but maybe goes missing a little too often. wouldn't want to see him leave but anything close to 10 million and its a yes from me. If you think it's going to be as little as 5 million reported in the Stoke non-story then you are mildly delusional.

You must be on the same happy pills as your chairman thinking pilks would want to join a club who have no faith in their manager, and had to appoint a man over him who was a waste of time last time he was at newcastle.

I do not think this has any legs, Manager clearly rates him so unless the offer is made is over the top I cannot see anything is this rumour.

Good for Huddersfield, if true; sell-on fees involved here.

No chance- we need him. We need 3-4 wide players as these Billy wizz sorts are regularly sidelined with injuries. Pilks is one of our best players and we are short handed in this area.

25 Jun 2013 09:41:52
Southend's Barry Corr Looks Set To Sign For Burton Albion

Why would he go there? Let's be honest. Unless he has told he won't get first team football at roots hall.

Seriously? Would be a decent move to replace Calvin Zola, however, isn't he more injured than most players?

Billy kee is of to Crawley town! Burton agreed price.

Maybe Barry Corr needs a new challenge? He would certainly fit in with all the other Irish lads at Burton.

Barry has done well for Southend since recovering from those injuries.

25 Jun 2013 18:30:12
Kee is staying at burton mate plus if he was going o move it wouldn't be crawley he want move that far he would stay local

Someone said Billy Kee is going Crawley, get your facts right he isn't moving as he has turned you down twice so he can stay closer to family

Corr as replacement for Zola is ok, provided he stays fit. Kee is off to Crawley, he wants L1 football.

Dont think he has been offered new contract at southend

RM Shaks wrong again! your neighbour is a dreadful informant! BARRY CORR SIGNS 2 YEAR DEAL!

Corr has just signed a 2 year deal to stay at Southend

Monday night he was leaving. Tuesday he had a change of heart and signed the contract

25 Jun 2013 09:33:59
The Bostwick rumour is true, he has just handed in a transfer request he will be going to a championship club likely destinatio Millwall and Posh will replace him with sean st ledger and trying to get jack payne back.

We're not getting Bostock, and I highly doubt St Ledger dropping his wages by a huge amount to play league one football, he's better than that and better than Peterborough

He said Bostwick not Bostock they are two completely separate players, Bostwick a midfielder from Peterborough and Bostock being a now free agent and former Spurs player

Don't think millwall are interested in Peterboroughs bostwick. Bostock has just been released from spurs and is one more likely as he will cost nothing and two, he's an attacking player which is what lomas has stated he is after. Was really rated at palace and didn't get a chance when snapped up by Tottenham so will be looking to reignite his career. Hopefully millwall can get him.

25 Jun 2013 09:29:52
Brentford to sign by the end of the week:
Will Grigg (Walsall)
Darren Ward (Swindon)
Rob Kiernan (Wigan)

Grigg won't get a game. Donaldson is a lot better. Also, since when did Brentford become a rich club? Did I miss something? Unless they are just spending money they ain't got, like 90% of clubs nowadays.

25 Jun 2013 17:04:26
Brentford play in a 4-4-2, bwp hasn't signed yet so Grigg will play alongside Donaldson. And Brentford will only have to pay Griggs wages as he's out of contract so get your facts right mate or you can stick them where the sun don't shine!

Looks like we might be signing him as he as proven himself in league 1 not likely we will be signing bwp now

Brentford have money there's no issue there Donaldson and Grigg would be class together and the signings we have made we will bee solid next season

There will be a tribunal fee as Grigg is under 24 and was offered a new contract.

Grigg has potential, but it's telling that no Championship clubs are going for him. And I know they came to watch last season. Hasn't proved himself yet. Most of his goals have been penalties from teams hacking Brandy down. Will be very interesting. He will get a load of stick next season, that's for sure.

You need to get your facts straight pal Walsall entitled to compo he is under 24 and came through youth system so there ha ha ha

Reply to previous poster. Brentford became a rich club 2 seasons ago with Matthew Benham's takeover. We have cash but have not splashed it around like Crawley, Bournemouth and Swindon. We have built from within i. e. new grade 2 academy and focus on youth and frugal spending on players who are young and / or out of contract. In other words we have used our money in the right way!

Compensation for Grigg will be 7 figures. Hope MB has enough cash.

Brentford had a bigger wage budget than Swindon and Crawley last year, so you aren't that frugal.

Used their money the right way? A wage budget over 5 million, requiring a 15.2 million investment from the owner to keep going? Don't make me laugh

Only one way your going then? The owner can't sustain putting that amount of money with the low fan base and only 6000 watching every week losing money hand over fist.

How long before we find out that there is no money? its all an illusion!
There must be another 8-10 Million investment (?) in 2013 or they will be in contravention of the FFP rules. Another gambler from the city.

Haahahah playing budget of over 5 million? Are you actually serious or mentally ill? Are playing budget was 2.5 million, Swindons was 4 million and Sheff Utd 6 million. Preston, Doncaster and Bournemouths budgets were all bigger. In fact so were Portsmouth and Coventrys for most of the season! So get your facts right buddy. Truth is are scouting and management team are better than anyone elses in L1.

Scouting system not that good if Grigg is the best striker you can find. Average lower league striker at best

Yes, mr Brentford fan, all these facts and figures have come from your chairman. He put in 15. 2M last season. Don't care what anyone says, that's not sustainable for a club of Brentford's size. Think you'll find your wages are up there with the highest in the division. These figures haven't been plucked from thin air. You've just signed McCormack from Swindon. He hasn't signed because you're a bigger club -- all about the wages.

Go on then, show me the facts and figures. Go on. I'm waiting. still waiting. Oh wait that's right you have none because you made it up. You are getting your little brain confused because you don't know anything about Brentford. A playing budget of £2.5 million for 12/13 (confirmed at the BIAS fans forum last summer), so what did he do with the other £13 million? You do know that FL spending rules mean it is actually impossible for your claim to be true. I can't stop laughing at the £15 million you claim for last season lol. Just waiting to see if our £80 million bid for Bale has been accepted.

Also our chairman has been in the job for 2 days, I'm guessing he got round to telling you all this information in that time LOL

Not this chairman but his predecessor said "30 January 2013

Brentford today revealed that owner Matthew Benham has invested £15.2million in the club since taking over in June last year.

That figure does not include the money he spent to purchase the land located at Lionel Road South where Brentford plan to build a new 15,000-20,000 seater stadium for the start of the 2016-17 season.

Benham is a lifelong Bees fans and the importance of his investment is shown by the club’s financial figures for the year ending June 30, 2012.

Brentford reported a £5m loss and their wage bill has increased by 20 per cent from the previous year and is now over £5m.

Chairman Greg Dyke (above) said: “Matthew agrees with the board annually how much he is willing to inject and the board then adopts a budget for the coming season. This includes how much we are willing to spend on the playing budget. ”

Brentford are expected to make £1m from their FA Cup run.

Uwe Rosler’s side face Chelsea in a fourth-round replay at Stamford Bridge next month after drawing 2-2 at Griffin Park on Sunday.

25 Jun 2013 09:13:38
Walsall closing in on GK Tommy Forecast.

Have him. He was at Southampton for 5 years, didn't concede a single goal. Mainly because he never played for us.

Good luck Walsall, remember the old saying, some days are diamonds, some days are stones, think a lot of yours will be of the stoney variety if he's between the posts.

25 Jun 2013 09:01:50
Brentford to sign Walsall striker Will Grigg? Brandy having a medical at Sheffield United.

25 Jun 2013 09:01:28
Barry Corr set to leave Southend for Burton Albion!

Possible, with zola going he would be a good replacement

25 Jun 2013 08:58:07
Swindon have taken three players on trial from the chairmans former club Banbury town.

Thats a chairman who knows how to treat the fans to a wonder signing, wonder why? we are signing them.

25 Jun 2013 10:27:27
Total rubbish were not signing them they are on trial only if they did get signed there would be total mutiny at the club with the fans with with Jed the shred as chairman you never know.

Just because they are on trial does not mean we are signing them, Left winger kynan Isaac was on trial at Ipswich in January so can't be that bad if a championship club was looking at him & Adeyinka Talabi doesn't look to bad either.

I can confirm we had 4 lads from Banbury utd that's definite, I am friends with someone at the club, they told me today, his words it's embarrassing, he is trying to look after some old pals at Banbury. We are going to be a laughing stock.

It does say they are on trial dudes, calm yo sh1t down

But if he was that good the championship team would of signed him

I am perfectly calm my friend just telling facts that are 100% true.

25 Jun 2013 08:30:10
Aruna Kone set for talks with West Brom.

Matej Vydra is interesting West Brom, season long loan with a view to a permanent transfer next summer.
Albion also planning two loan signings from the Premier League, believed to be Demba Ba and Scott Sinclair.

25 Jun 2013 08:02:57
A prolific goalscorer for cut price west brom could sign is mame biram Diouf

Isn't he extending his contract with Hannover?

25 Jun 2013 07:42:46
Birmingham have accepted £2m bids from Norwich and Swansea for 19-year-old winger Nathan Redmond.

I though Brimingham turned Swansea down of a 2 million bid as they want 2.5 million

I think they have accepted bids of 2. 5M from both Norwich and Swansea.

Accepted norwich bid for 2.9m

They have accepted bids from Swansea as well as Norwhich! I think Swans are offering him £2.5m PLUS Kyle Bartly!

But both bids have been accepted. doesn't matter who added who into the deal. it is now down to the player. adding a player on loan does nothing to make redmond decide.

Bartley on loan not as part of a swap!

25 Jun 2013 07:17:00
Javier acuna is to reject Crystal Palace, Middlesbrough and Nottingham Forest and join Spanish side Espanyol.

He already did.

Acuna is joining Watford

25 Jun 2013 10:12:47
Old news.

He is defo going to espanyol not watford

Yes because a player would turn down premiership football to play for Watford. No.

25 Jun 2013 06:22:51
Mowbray is makin a move for marlon harewood

I hope not he couldn't hit a barn door from 5 yards

25 Jun 2013 12:53:57
Not a chance in this one. Graham is the target striker for Mowbray

25 Jun 2013 00:49:53
Millwall hope to complete the free signing of Nicky Bailey, Steve Morison from Leeds and Tomlin from Peterborough by end of the week.

The only way you will get Tomlin is if you give us £5 million and I don't think Millwall have that type of money!

£5m price tag on Tomlin, good luck

25 Jun 2013 10:19:51
POSH fans must be some of the most deluded in english football! 5 million for an over-weight league 1 midfielder!

Lee Tomlin is not for sale. Peterborough chairman confirmed this. Silly money may urge a rethink but I doubt it.

A lot of Millwall don't 'WANT' Morison 'BACK'!

That would be nice all three of those for free, but that must be cloud coockoo land, maybe a couple of million for all three then it would sound a bit more realistic. Whoever posted this?

Unfortunately Morison claims he wants to prove himself at leeds, i'd give him a piggy back down he's pony!

Us Millwall fans would be in shock if that were true, what we are gona get some decent signings, and three. let's pray would get a few like this, but would be a first in our history! Live in hope:)

What is it with peterborough always asking for ridiculous amounts of money for players?

If morison left us for 2.8 million and we were a championship club. how the hell do Peterborough expect 5mil for a overweight league 1 midfielder in lee tomlin. beggars beleif

A lot of Millwall do WANT Morison BACK

As a qualified coach and a Millwall fan I would be more than happy to see Morison and Jackson paired up front.

And a lot of Millwall would take Morison back in a flash if it means a season more like the first in the Cmapionship, compared to the last!

25 Jun 2013 15:17:26
We ain't deluded, no posh fan thinks he is worth 5 million doubt any of us think he is even worth 1 million but he has 4 years left on his contract and the manager and chairman don't need/want to sell him hence a silly offer of 5 million chairmans words not mine will be the only way the offer will be accepted. Fat he may be but he is decent worth 5 mill however he is not. No the facts before spouting off about delusion.

"What is it with peterborough always asking for ridiculous amounts of money for players?"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What is it with other Clubs always wanting our players but not prepared to pay, as for being a "league one player", Tomlin has more than proved himself in the Championship, as most of our team have, that's why you would want him.

The reason PUFC overprice is simple, we have no desire to sell! Not rocket science is it. Why would we take poor money for our best players when a return straight back to the Championship makes us more!

Think that some millwall fans have forgot who we have signed already and who we have got Keogh Easter and if we do get these players that is to many players

High price because they are not interested in selling.

As a posh fan, £5million is an awful lot of money for a not so quality player - but because we got relegated, and are desperate to keep hold of him, we've stuck a huge price tag on him to ward of any potential buyers.

Posh ask for ridiculous prices because they don't want to sell him! The club is financially stable and he will be a big player if we want to get back up

Why don't people understand that you put a ridiculous price on the heads of players you don't want to sell. But if someone offers the ridiculous price they can have him. Otherwise it means **** off, they are not for sale. Nothing deluded about that!

It looks like all the players mentioned millwall will have the biggest team in the leauge

If most of your players proved that they can perform in the champion ship why did you get relegated?

Why are we being linked with half the Peterbourgh team anyway? Surely if they were that good they wouldn't be playing in league 1. They completely outclassed us at the den last season but why could they not do that throughout the season? They can't be consistent enough obviously.

Oh for goodness sake do we have to bring up the fact that if the season started mid December we would have been top 6. The reason why we weren't there at the end of the season was a really poor start and injuries to key players during the period to mid December. That's it that's why we got relegated 'nuff said.

We got relegated due to our poor first 20-25 games. The team then changed a lot, and we played the second half of the season in play off form. That's why those players are worth a lot to us

Peterborough ask for silly money for players because they don't want to sell them and if people pay it there the silly ones

like norwich with bennett
mackail smith with brighton
taylor with ipswich
mclean with hull

all over priced moves but the clubs paid it

Tomlin is young, has 4 years left on his contract and had a better goal / assist ratio in the Championship than Zaha and that came from a struggling team. he will shine in League One.

Swansea, Fulham and Liverpool are all want to sign Werder Bremen winger Eljero Elia.

Fulham have been "linked" with him since the Hamburg semi-final in2010 - he's no great shakes.

How many wingers do swansea want

Hope this is true a very fast winger who could give a added skill to the prem

I would love to have him at Fulham I have seen him play and he causes defenders all sorts of problems.

A bid has been reportedly accepted for Nathan Redmond by Norwich, other news putting aroune Kone on the link with norwich, this sounds like a good buy. OTBC

Shaun Cummings will have a medical at Charlton tomorrow, Reading have agreed to sell the right back for £250,000

SC is one for the future. RFC will not let him go {Ed029's Note - He's third choice behind Gunter and Kelly, after being first choice. I think he'll go this summer.

The fee is too small but I can see him going this summer. Double it at least.

The only way this will happen in my opinion is if Charlton are selling Chris Solly. I also thought Cummings was out of contract and because he is 24 would not command a fee. {Ed029's Note - Think he has one year left.

We don't need a right back. Unless Solly is going somewhere.

Good player, but why sould we need another right back? Solly is better in my opinion :|

We don't actually have a back up right back and CP wouldn't dare go into the youth, so it could be a good signing for us

If He's leaving for 1st team football then sadly that's something he's not going to get at Charlton. Solly is quality

Although cover for Solly would be nice I think we need to prioritise other postions, we've only got one senior striker!

Errrr we have Wilson?!?!

Back up right backs are Wilson and Hughes if needed so if Solly is not being sold (and I think we will have to go up this season to keep him for longer) then we have priorities elsewhere namely up front!

I think you will find that Wilson has featured primarily in midfield, and only at the back rarely.

Exactly you've proved my point. He did play there and he played there for Stevenage for 2 seasons before we bought him. He also he wasn't playing there because a certain SOLLY was occupying the position!

Wilson is a right back, signed as a right back, has the pace to get up and down the pitch strength to tackle & defend but no final ball into the box, plays well with green in front of him if solly goes.
