Aston Villa scouts have been in San Jose California several times recently scouting goal-scoring sensation Chris Wondolowski. He will likely be suiting up at Villa Park this winter. The question is whether or not he goes on loan or signs a contract. His visa might be an issue.(2)(11)

Portsmouth's new owner will next week declare a £5m budget to manager Steve Cotterill.
However when January comes it won't be players coming in. Portpin (the company who is run by the former owner of the club) will sell several first team players and not give any money to the manager. They will instead use this money to pay off creditors as much as they can, they will then sell the club to Paul Duffen (the former Hull Chairman) for a profit, who will have to shell out millions just to get a team capable of winning games.

Portsmouth will try a 500,000 bid for greg halford and will make lawrence a pernament pompey player and are looking at craig noone but are likely to miss out on that deal as he is set for a new contract at plymouth so could go for his team-mate rory fallon instead.

I noticed Roy Hodgeson was at the wigan game yesterday. It wasn't long ago when a rumour was going around claiming that LFC are interested in Charles N'Zogbia and Hugo Rodallega.
As we all know Wayne Rooney has signed a new 5 year deal at United worth £250,000 a week. I see it like this. . Glazers are £1.1 billion in debt and therefore there is no chance of them paying Rooney that wage for 5 years. £64m a year, times that by 5, that's £320m for 5 years on one player. United cannot afford that and I think the reason Fergie wanted him to sign a contract was so that if anyone is interested in Rooney come summer time. . Instead of paying £30m for him they'll have to pay probably double cause of his contract. It reminds me of the Ronaldo deal and I wouldn't be surprised if it happens all over again with Rooney come summer.

Next time you want to be a maths whiz, 250k per week equates to 13m a year. 52 weeks a year not 4 weeks by 12 months or didn't they teach you that in year 2?(13)(11)

Davies just signed a new contract? and has been one of, if not Fulham's best player as of late.
