Wigan are set to offer a big £4.5 million for Cardiff hotshot Michael Chopra if they stay in the Premiership, although the transfer fee may be lessened if Lee McCulloch is involved moving in the opposite direction. Cariff boss, Jones is keen on McCulloch.

Watford boss Aidy Boothroyd wants to sign Izale McCleod and Jermaine Easter following his sides plummet to the Championship. This will anger Luton Town boss Kevin Blackwell who had hoped to sign 1 of the above Leauge 2 strikers for Luton's League 1 campaign.

It is still more likely that Easter will move to Luton Town.

Freddy Shepherd is to hold secret talks with Gerrard Houllier in the summer about becoming the new manager of Newcastle United and succeeding the unsuccesful Glen Roeder.

If Houllier decides to return to England, expect him to pay £6 million for Djibril Cisse who will provide cover for Owen and Martins.

Liverpool will sign Simao Sabrosa 100% Guaranteed a bid from 13-15m will secure his services.

Liverpool Rumours

Rafa will re-pursue Iriome Gonzalez, but Chelsea scouts have been spotted watching him so may face some competition for his signature.

He is also eying Barcelona young guns Giovanni Dos Santos and Bojan Krcic with the possibility of Xabi Alonso or Sissoko going the other way.

Finally all the Italian Trezeguet, Amauri, Iaquinta rumours are not true. They are there to take potential interest away from Rafas main target, Milan striker Alberto Gilardino.

=v1= : how can you be taken seriously when you don't have Essien starting next year?

He's the best worker in the team right now, and I haven't seen Mourinho play regular 442 since he came to the bridge.

I believe Miguel will come in, Alex will make his move official finally, and we'll sign another striker, although not a star.

Hopefully Cole and Miguel will have full license to push forward from their positions, and Cole can provide what Chelsea has really been lacking this year - a real play maker (provided he stays fit. )

TRANSFER RUMOURS

-Arsenal will make an approach for Aston Villa's Gabriel Agbonlahor. Martin O'Neill is intent on keeping the versatile forward, but his hand may be forced when the Gunners offer Jeremie Aliadiere and a decent cash sum for him.

-The man in demand this Summer is Tottenham's Dimitar Berbatov, and the North London side face a struggle in keeping the classy forward, who has enjoyed an excellent debut campaign. If Spurs fail to qualify for Europe then Berbatov will definitely join one of the big four, excluding Arsenal. If Spurs reach the UEFA cup it is likely that Berbatov will stay for one more season, unless Spurs receive a substantial offer. He has not yet decided on his future and may decide to move if the right offer is on the table.

-Manchester United are keen on bringing Michael Owen to Old Trafford.

-Arsenal want Jonathan Woodgate, but at this moment in time he curiously wants to stay with his hometown club.

-Adriano will not sign for any English club this Summer. FACT.

-To all those who think Daniele De Rossi will move to Manchester United or Liverpool, not going to happen. He is Roma through and through and like most Italian players, has no interest in leaving Italy.

The Rumour King

Future England Full-backs Ryan Taylor and Leighton Baines of Wigan are wanted by Newcastle.

Apparently Newcastle have been in touch with Wigan over Baines and he has said he is happy where he is at the moment.

WAFC are staying up!

Emile Heskey is Roy Keane's number one target this summer, but may face competition from Reading.

He hasn't done much for us this season, and Jewelly is hoping to get Walcott or Rasiak as his replacement.

Watford striker Hameur Bouazza will join Tottenham in the summer for £3.7m and is likely to be the player to replace outgoing Egyptian Mido. Bouazza is reluctant to leave Watford as they're the team who has given him his chance in the big time, but he wants to be playing Premiership football every week and the chance to move to White Hart Lane will appeal. Mido is expected to move back to Italy, with Sampdoria and Catania eager to sign him.

Paul Jewell will offload Heskey this summer with READING and SHEFFIELD UNITED favourites to sign the goal shy striker.

WIGAN are keen on Gregor Rasiak of SOUTHAMPTON.

A couple of youth team/ reserve players to look out for are Ben Turner, Liam Davis and Matty West.

Liam Davis is a small, quick left sided midfielder who made his senior debut in the 2-1 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday. He also spent time on loan at Peterborough.

Matty West is an attacking midfielder/ striker who bags alot of goals for the reserves.

If West Ham United stay in the Premiership, they will make an audicious swoop to sign one of Carlos Tevez' international strike partner, Javier Saviola!

=v1=

Aidy Boothroyd has been on the look out for more back room staff since releasing some earlier this year, expect Teddy Sheringham to be the 1st in over the summer, Aidy wants to surround himself with good quality ex pros and Teddy fits the bill. Teddy will have a Clause allowing him to leave for any managerial position he is offered.

Expect all the players out on loan to leave Watford in the summer along with a number of others who Aidy now feels are not good enough for the top division. With over £10m to spend big changes will be taking place at the club, however, Aidy will protect his the funds that are available to him deciding instead to look at quality young players on loan.

Richard Wrightm (Free Everton)

Paul Robinson (£2m) or Tony Capaldi (Free Plymouth) will be 1st in

with Chris Eagles and Fangzhou Dong joining on loan for the season from Manchester United, these loan signings will continue the brilliant off field relationship the club has with Sir Alex Ferguson.

Aidy will also attempt to sign both Ben Sahar and Sinclair on loan from Chelsea as he looks for different attacking options.

Nugent, Barton and Baines will be coming in to Goodison expect Fernandes to sign.

Who in the right mind will say Cahill is worth £8m if Carrick was £18m United would have to match this at least and Arteta for £7m get real, we are not a selling club except for Beattie (the only place for him is Celtic to get his form back, the Premiership is to big for this big time Charlie

Rafa has given up on Bellamy. He feels that he is an on and off player and he has targeted Michael Owen to come back to Anfield. Bellamy will be chased by Villa, pompey, Spurs and Sunderland. He will reject all offers to go to Scotland. Tottenham are in pole position to snap him us as Portsmouth are more keen or Jermain Defoe.

Rafa knows of Owen's injury problems so he is also targetting Billy Sharp who he believes will make it big. He will play more reserve team football but Rafa knows he can play against men

Rafa is also targetting a young centre-back but it won't be a familiar name-another one from Spain.

Lastly, he wants 1 more attacking midfielder who can play all across the midfield and who is experienced. This man is Deco. Barcelona will allow him to leave as he is nearly 30 and they want some more youth and want to give iniesta a chance.

The squad will look something like this:

GK: Reina Carson Padelli

LB: Riise Aurelio

CB: Carra Agger Hyppia ? Paletta

RB: Finnan Arbeloa

LM: Kewell Gonzalez Leto

CM: Gerrard Alonso Mascherano Sissoko

RM: Deco Pennant

ST: Owen Kuyt Crouch Voronin Sharp

OUT: Garcia, Cisse, Dudek, Zenden, Fowler, Bellamy, Pongolle, Le Tallec

Chelsea are not going to sack Mourinho as many people think they are not so foolish to sack the best manger of the world who is on a verge of winning 4 trophies this season. even Mourinho does not want to leave as he has done a lot of hardwork to build a team of talented world beaters. this Chelsea side is just perfect so don't expect alot of changes this summer the basic core of the side will be the same.

expect Tevez to come in as he is an ideal player for Mourinho's style of playing along with a rb maybe miguel or micah Richards and most probably ricardo queresema.

Aston Villa will not sign Artur Boruc this summer, but will instead swoop for Craig Gordon at Hearts. He will link up with other Villa new boys Craig Bellamy, and one of either Woodgate or Upson. (MON has gone off the idea of signing Curtis Davies). Villa will also bid for Giles Barnes, but allow him to stay at Derby for a further season if they have not been promoted.

AV are also looking at two other midfielders on the continent (believed to be Sneijder and Kallstrom) . although extremely unlikely to be in Europe next season (UEFA Fair Play spot an outside chance) Villa believe that Lerner's willingness to pay top wages and MON's vision will entice better quality players to Villa Park.

This inevitably means exits for Sorensen, McCann, Hendrie, Samuel and Hughes. keep an eye on the Saviola situation too. The Bodymoor Mole.
