United will not sell Carrick to the highest bidder. He is starting to settle in well and was an expensive signing. Even if he was a flop SAF wouldn't sell him until next summer as it takes him 2 years to admit to being wrong about a player. Veron, Djemba, Kleberson, Miller - all had roughly 2 years at United.All rumours about davis leaving villa are not true. MO'N likes his potential, but needs to increase squad size, as davis is not at his best in 4-3-3. Baros will leave to the first decent offer. TRUE!Much talk around anfield at the present time of unease in the dressing room and even amongst certain players and in general around the club itself, questions are being asked about players desire and loyalty and though Benitez would be loathe to admit it he may have to shipout a few of his spanish aquisitions, the major one being Xabi Alonso who's form has been poor to say the least this season and who's interesting both Barca and Real Madrid, with figures quoted as high as £20 million. Also Reina appears to have become a target for Valencia and with Carson in such splendid form he will be shipped off next summer for around £6 - £7 million, along with Garcia, Zenden, Aurelio, Kewell, Fowler and other players who are presently on loan at various clubs, with the funds he recoups from these sales,(in the region of at least £35- £40 million) the money will be spent on these touted players being whispered around the corridors of anfield, Micah Richards at right back, Gareth Bale at left back, both to inject a little pace in the defence and as possible cover in the centre, Barton, Reo-Coker, or possibly Nolan in the centre as cover for either Gerrard or Sissoko, as Gerrard with be reverting back to his favoured position in the middle of the park next season, and also Gabriel Agbonglahor as cover on either wing and to challenge Pennant for a place in the team. Any money left over will be used to recruit talented young players and a top class stiker, Robbie Keane and Defoe in particular have been mooted as future signings, indeed it seems that Benitez wants to introduce players with pace, strength, skill and a good work ethic as well as being of UK citizenship.This bodes well for the future to have a good crop of english young hungry players at the club.This may seem an unlikely turn around by Benitez in that he wants to sign british players, but the fact is these are the rumours emenating from LfC.Strong rumours persist at

There has also been some strong links with several loan players one of which is Edu and Francesco Tavano of Valencia with an option to buy in the summer. But with Edu now sidelined for 7 months this now looks doubtful. A liitle closer to home tho GR is looking long and hard at Colins John. Young, quick, strong and causes problems up front. 3.5 mil should do it and as he will not sign an extension this looks more and more likely. Don't expect to see huge changes at West Ham in January now the takeover has gone through, but i do expect Pards to make one transfer massive coup. Real Madrid will be prepared to let Becks go on Loan untill the end of the season before his contract Expires, and if Pards can convince Becks he can force his way back into the England sqaud by playing regulary in the Premier league, he'll be coming to the Irons for sure.RANGERS NEWS:

i read on here somewhere that riquleme is going to west ham. please get a grip. Roman plays football at a very slow tempo which is just not suited to england and he doesn't track back or even attempt to defend. There is no doubting his class but he is not coming to england. period.With Maloney looking to be set to leave Celtic, with Newcastle, Spurs or Aston Villa the likely destinations, Celtic will look to retain Derek Riordan and use him more after January. Aidy boothroyd is aiming to get man u's akan smith on loan any time soon. Also Foster will stay on loan for another season as SAF still has Van Der Sar for 1 more year(till he retires). First of all Arsene Wenger will not be buying ANYONE in january as he says he is happy with his squad. Obviously he also said he may be forced in the event of an injury crisis.
Second of all nicklas bendter won't be leaving permanatly he will stay with birmingham till the end of next season ensuring that they have got back into the premiership. Fabrice muamba will do the same and sebastian larsson will join permanently in january. Anthony Stokes will go on loan to birmingham next season also and then return to Arsenal to fight for a regular place. Arturo Lupoli will be sold to Derby county on a permanent basis in the summer and Fran Merida will join Derby on loan in january.Barnsley have sacked Andy Ritchie because Ian Dowie has become available, Dowie willtake over in next week and will be allowed to commute from his home in the North westMy uncle who is on the liverpool board told me that liverpool are gonna get rid of Reina (6M) and Dudek (1M) and bring back carson and also get in Ludovic Butelle. They will sell Shaun Wright-Phillips as he has failed to live up to his price tag after being given many chances and Paulo Ferriera will be sold to a Spanish or Portugese club because he has gradually got worst since he arrived at Stamford Bridge. Lassana Diarra will be sent out on loan to a lesser premier league club to develop his skills in the english game, he will need this as he will replace Claude Makelele in 2 seasons time. With Jimmy Smith and Micheal Mancienne impressing performances whilst on loan with QPR Mourinho will therefore push them for subs places next season with the plan to make them regulars in two years time. Mourinho has seen some youth players that may have a promising future at the club such as: Ryan Bertrand(on loan at Bournemouth),Scott Sinclair(mold of a younger Aaron Lennon but can play as a centre forward aswell), Sergio Tejera(young Spaniad that was bought from Espanyol earlier in the year), Miroslav Stoch(a pacey winger with bags of skill) and Ben Sahar(young,quick and skillful)

Chelsea:Anderson looks likly although there will be a battle with Barcelona.Also a young mid from COLO COLO in Chile,his name is Fernandes.
Liverpool:Young Argie Ruben will be arriving in January if a work permit can be sorted if not then they will still go for him in the summer.
Aresnal:Ribery in the summer,Carvalho possisbly and will show intrest in Van Der Vaart.
Manchester United:Nani in January for £6 million,and he is not a striker as has been mentioned here,he is a winger.
A striker will definitly be bought in January,forget about Darren Bent.Fernando Torres will be targeted again but United have no intention of paying his buy-out clause.£22 million or no go.Huntelaar will stay in Ajax for another year at least.
De Rossi will not be joining.
Newcastle:Belgravia group will make a formal bid in the next month so transfer budgets are yet to be announced so targets can't really be looked into great detail.
Lucho Gonzalez is not going anywhere he only signed a four year deal last week.Man utd 2 sign 5 new players ova the next 2 transfer windows a right back nelson/richards a left winger ribery/nani a defensive midfielder hargreaves/de rossi a striker torres/huntelear and a out and out midfielder helstad/makoun. kaka won't be leavin milan and ronaldinho won't leave barca and even if they were 2 leave they would be sold 2 the highest bidder and united don't put all there eggs in 2 1 basket ne more as even though they r great players in their leagues the premiership is total different it's faster and more physical these players thrive on havin time and space on the ball and u just don't get that in the premiership and i don't think they have the physical strength 2 it either and brazilians have a history of not doin well in the premiership kleberson ring any bells the weathers 2 cold.
