Many a speculation going on that Benzima would be coming to MAN U . but Sir Alex will not give his defence trouble as Real will be looking at Vidic for a swap . but Vidic and Rio Partnership is the best right now . Evans and Wes Brown as good Backups .
So he Will most Probably be looking a striker from Premiereship .
Rumoured that DARREN BENT or Carlton COLE would be good bids he can snatch both for 30 M or a single one . of them .
as they were terrific through out .

To the celtic fan that described rangers as pishpishpish, what the fk does that make your team? The ellis deal will come through in the next few weeks and will be worth something around £33–35million. This deal will also include the land around ibrox and ellis plans to develop it. Ellis will make all the champions league money available to walter smith for transfer funds for the summer and may make another £5million available depending on how much strengthening walter thinks the team needs. expect to see walter smith and kris boyd to sign new contracts and bougherra will only leave if something over £8million is offered. HERE WE GO 2 IN A ROW!!!!

22 Mar 2010 21:30:32
Jay Spearing will tomorrow sign for Leicester City on loan until the end of the season.

22 Mar 2010 20:34:49
A cast iron certantiy: carlos quiroz back to old Trafford as number 2 after world cup, ole gunnar is to take a managers job in Norway phelan will work with the reserves and carlos back as number 2, the only way this won't happen is if potugal win the world cup, carlos was back in Manchester on Sunday to watch nani, however the deal for him to return was struck after the game, trust me this is going to happen

22 Mar 2010 20:46:37
Forest are still on the trail of a Left Back and Midfielder. A few clubs have been waiting for players getting back to fitness before allowing players to go out on loan. Not been given any names but have been told the players we are targetting are experienced. Forest also hoping McKenna will be back fit sooner than predicted as he's made good progress the past week. Like Billy has said Club are confident of striking a perm deal for Raddy this should be concluded by the end of the week.

22 Mar 2010 20:47:01

I wonder how much of what is being written on here will actually happen? a percentage around the same number of pompys points tally this season i suspect. Here is some REAL news – moyes to united in the summer if fergie wins the league. you can take that to bank!

22 Mar 2010 19:12:07
To the person who wanted to know how much McLeish will get to spend in the summer. Iv heard he won't get a set amount to spend but will be giving money for his targets.
Allan McGregor is the top goalkeeping target if they don't get Joe Hart for another season.
In defence they are trying to extend Liam Ridgewells contract.George McCartney is being lined up to come in as he is getting no playing time at sunderland. He will cost round 4 million. Also they might compete with S'Land for Alan Hutton with a 6–7 million fee being asked for by Spurs.Paulo Ferreira is another full back being watched by us.
In midfield the priority is keeping Larsson.Jamie O'Hara is being chased by alot of premier league clubs including Birmingham and apparently Newcastle have already put a bid in for him.
Upfront the main target was Roman Pavlyuchenko but Alex has already admitted his current form means he may have lost out on him as Spurs will want to keep him.We have been linked with Dindane in the papers and iv also heard we will get Carlos Vela on loan for a season.
I expect we will spend 20–25 million and hopefully another top half finish will be on its way.
Big Eck for manger of the year!

I believe a deal has been struck between Man City and Aston Villa regarding Ashley Young. I'm a Man U fan so no reason to lie!

Rather than saying 'my source, blah, lie, blah'. I'll tell you my source – Mark Ward (ex–Everton player).

22 Mar 2010 18:56:30
News about gary neville.

having spoke to some of my footballing sources, i have it on the best authority that he will be retiring at the end of the season. he has recently completed work on a new family home and is looking forward to moving there from the beetham tower. he does not want to take a step down to get regular football and also doesn't want to risk his body, he has a young family and is currently physically fit, but has had some bad injuries in his career and doesn't want to risk ruining himself for the rest of his life. He has had a verbal offer to stay with man u in a coaching role, beginning with the reserves and youth team. he has convided in close friends and family about his retirement plans, but does not plan on announcing until the end of the season, with hopes to finish his career at the world cup ala jason robinson in rugby union.

as to how this will effect united next season i have no clue, heard no mention of whether they will sign a replacement, or just make use of who they have (browns performed well there, they have the twins, and also that young serbian lad)

as for other players, feeling is that senderos will not be staying with everton at the end of his loan, and will be assessing his options at the end of the season, this come from him not following suit of the rest of evertons recent new signings, and him choicing to rent in the hilton manchester deansgate, and then move upstairs to the beetham tower, while the other new everton signings, including loans, have choosen to stay closer to mersyside. this is purely speculation, heard no rumors, its just a little stange and considering how much he's played for everton, combined with his choice to live in the center of manchester.

Spurs rumours anybody?

22 Mar 2010 17:36:13
Higuain and Ronaldo Bust Up?? Well if it is true Higuain wil be almost 99% out the door, why? well Ronaldo is making Madrid millions through shirt sales and advertising. But Higuain IS making an impression in my eyes as he is there top scorer etc.

22 Mar 2010 17:32:54
Manchester United next season

ins:

NO GOALKEEPER COMING IN FOR ATLEAST 1 SEASON

BESIDES SMALLING NO MAJOR CHANGES IN DEFENCE

SAF WANTS AN ATTACKING MIDFIELDER BUT WILL HAVE TO DO WITH THE SERVICES OF CARRICK AND FLETCHER AT THE HEART OF THE MIDFIELD WITH SCHOLES AND GIGGS CHIPPING IN.––DI MARIA OR DAVID SILVA COULD BE COMING IN WHILE RODWELL WILL DECIDE IF HE WANTS TO STAY AT EVERTON FOR ANOTHER YEAR AND THEN JOIN UNITED AS UNITED DON'T HAVE ANY PLACE FOR HIM RIGHT NOW

A STRIKER WILL DEFINITELY BE BOUGHT IN AS SAF IS UNSURE IF OWEN CAN CONTINUE AFTER HIS PRESENT INJURY.––EXPECT EITHER DAVID VILLA OR BENZEMA TO COME IN. DZEKO HAS ALSO BEEN SHOWN INTEREST IN BUT HE IS A LONG SHOT FOR UNITED.

outs:

IF DI MARIA OR SILVA COMES IN NANI WILL LEAVE DESPITE HIS RECENT SHOW IN FORM.

GIGGS\NEVILLE\SCHOLES ALL TO BE RED DEVILS FOR ANOTHER SEASON

ALSO ANDERSON MAY LEAVE AND THIS SEEMS THE MOST LIKELY OF THE UNITED OUTS.

RUMOURS LIKE 'VIDIC TO REAL MADRID' AND 'ROONEY TO BARCELONA\REAL MADRID' ARE ALL RUBBISH

George Gillett will sell his stake in Liverpool to Michael Otto

22 Mar 2010 16:21:14
Arsenal interesed by romanian young player Ionut Neagu.A very good midfield maestro.

22 Mar 2010 16:23:16
Gerrard and Alex Curran are definitely leading separate lives, maybe that's why he is playing so badly. Expect odds of him staying at Liverpool to drop sharply in the next few weeks; less likely to go abroad as he'll look to avoid a custody battle for the kids and wants to be around for them. Even the one with the questionable parentage sung about by Everton fans – her 'friends' being the root of the problem.

22 Mar 2010 16:03:30
Mike Walker is to be appointed the Manager of Darlington – his son, Ian, will join him as player/coach

22 Mar 2010 15:38:15
Benitez may not be leaving this year as they are going to give him around 25m plus any sales i the summer to strenghten the squad. torres MAY be getting sold for a more reliable, less injury prone striker, rumors of sergio aguero are popping up.
the only team gourcuff would join in the premier league is arsenal since wenger has been looking into him for ages and chamakh may tempt him to join.

22 Mar 2010 15:06:35
Hi everybody, does anyone know how much Carson Yeung will give Alex McLeish in the summer so he can strengthen his Blues squad? Also does anybody know any rumours/news on transfers for blues?

Does anyone know what is happening with the deal between manu and real madrid for benzema and vidic??

NOTHING IS HAPPENING MATE, MAYBE END OF NEXT SEASON, VIDIC WILL BE VALUED AT 15M THEN AS HE WILL BE OUT OF CONTRACT A YEAR LATER & UNITED WILL NOT LET HIM LEAVE FOR FREE! (VIDIC 15m) PLUS 8M CASH WILL BE A FAIR ESTIMATE FOR YOUNG BENZEMA!

IF THE DEAL HAPPENED NOW EXPECT A STRAIGHT SWAP! BUT THE DEAL WILL MORE THAN LIKELY HAPPEN NEXT YEAR!

22 Mar 2010 11:44:30
Can we stop with the stupid rumours of Milner, Young, Agbonlahor, Carew, Heskey and every attacking player we have leaving Villa? NONE of them are leaving.

Villa will be looking at Keane and Rodallega as we all know that we need a goal scoring player. We also are looking at Guiza and even possibly Cameron Jerome as he was having a great season during the unbeaten streak of Birmingham.

22 Mar 2010 11:29:41
Gotta say theres a lot of diluded west ham fans on here, you have no chance of getting joe hart for next season. you must realise that gold and sullivan will strip your assets and replace them with slightly above average championship players they did it for years at birmingham. you WILL be a yo yo club because they just love pocketing the 60 mill tv money every other season and only spending about 10 mill to get back up. sorry to say this because you are very good supporters and you deserve better than those pair of shisters.

22 Mar 2010 11:25:49

22 Mar 2010 11:03:00
Expect a number of premier league clubs to run their eye over Sebastian Coates at this summers world cup. The Nacional defender is hot property, and is only 19

22 Mar 2010 10:50:15
Cardiff interested in signing Simon Mensing from Hamilton.

22 Mar 2010 10:25:49
Rafa Benitez is indeed staying for next season. And he will get around £30 million plus sales to strengthen. He'll look to bring in around 3 good quality but cheapish squad players and then a couple of big signing. He's looking to offload Cavalieri, Degen, Riera and possibly Benayoun for around £10 million (£18 million w/Benayoun). Incoming will be Belhadj from Pompey for around £3 million and O'Hara from Spurs for £5 million. Arda Turan will be the first big signing, coming in for £15 million. The second will be Kjaer for £11 million. This will leave a bit of money for a striker. It'll be a big target man, no–one really knows just yet but if Benayoun goes then he could move for Guiza or Negredo. Torres, Gerrard, Mascherano, Aquilani and Babel are going nowhere. This is with or without the Champions League.

22 Mar 2010 10:36:13
A–league news– Carlos Hernandez will be leaving Melbourne Victory. In the wash–up from the Grand Final loss to Sydney he has asked MV to allow him to leave– rumoured to be interest somewhere in Europe. He is looking forward to playing in a league where if he is targeted by opposition defenders the refs will actually look after him. Amongst interested talented players thinking of going to Oz there is growing concern the A–league refs (and the A–league themselves) are too lenient on fouls– especiallythe constant taking down from behind.

MV will use this and the loss of Thompson for 12 months to lure Viduka to play for them instead of Melbourne Heart.

Tommy Orr– apparently there is interest wider than just Feyenoord where he is set to trial over the break– rumour is a faltering Giant in the English game who is looking for cheap talent to supplement a couple of bigger name signings are seriously interested.

Here is a surprising rumour i heard from a friend i know who works for a football magazine in Germany. He reckons that Ryan Shawcross is heading to Bayer Leverkusen for 8mil in the summer. This is just a rumour. It's proberbly 100% not the truth

22 Mar 2010 07:41:08

22 Mar 2010 08:16:00

Any real Bayern Munch rumours?

22 Mar 2010 01:16:46
Im afraid all this liverpool news about top draw players and world class managers is just wishfull thinking (i really wish it were true) but the truth is that rafa is staying put and the board are set to make £20m available in the summer with rafa having to sell in order to increase this figure. Not sure on the transfer targets he has set as im not an agent or affiliated with the club in any way altho the transfer budget rumour does have substance. don't expect any of the big names from world football and you won't be disapointed.

22 Mar 2010 00:35:24
To the guy who wrote about Oscar Cardozo being on Rafas wish list, I heard the same thing, I know he's after a tall strong striker, I'd heard they had scouts looking at zigic at valencia

Liverpool are monitoring, Turan, Kjaer, Belhadj, Twaio, Richard,

Last time I posted, it was Summer last year, where some dip–sht called me a "stupid prick" for advising that a journalism source informed me that Barca and Inter and negotiation a swap deal involving Eto'o + cash for Ibrahimovic (apparently – this would be ridiculous!), Michael Owen going to ManU, Darren Bent to Sunderland, etc, etc (in which 95% of them were dead on).

So far, the rumours that are gathering solidity are as follows:

ManU – No.1 target in the Summer is Gourcuff from Bordeaux. Fergie not interesting in Silva/Villa nor Benemza any longer. However, the scouts are seriously looking Luis Suarez of Ajax.

Kun Aguero will actually be heading to Barcelona to join Milito and Messi (his friends). Fee unknown as yet.

Ribery will be completing his move to Real Madrid, with Rafael Van Der Vaart heading in the oppposite direction.

I believe Man City are looking closely at the Joe Cole situation (contract coming to an end at Chelsea).

Liverpool will be looking to bring Simao to Anfield (friend of Torres), and Kjaer of Palermo.

Chelsea – unknown. There are some serious rumours circulating behind the media scenes that Roman and Carlo have fallen out on a number of occasions (basically – Carlo's not a 'yes' man hat Roman wants), and Anchelloti is leaving in the summer. Based on this, I believe no list has been drawn up as yet in terms of Summer targets.

Arsenal – expect them to make a few changes in the Summer. Wenger is seriously looking at Henri Saivet of Bordeaux (bit of a surprise to me due to lack of form this season), DeFour and Alex Wixsel (Standard Liege).

One for Rovers fans, is that I believe big Sam is trying to bring Luca Toni to Ewood Park in the Summer, which I think would be an excellent purchase for them, and Toni would adopt well to the EPL.

Thanks, and remember where you heard these.

21 Mar 2010 23:41:03
Wenger has sent physio's and medical staff to holland to get an update on van persie's injury.. he has also sent some scouting staff to check out some players which should be interesting :).
if torres is sold it won't be to a premier league side aside from man city im guessing he will go to one of the spanish giants if he is to be sold.

21 Mar 2010 23:34:54
––––––––West Ham––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

A lot's been said in the News of the World about West Ham this week. So I am here to straighten a few things out

1: Gold and Sullivan are in two minds about Zola. On one hand, he isn't their man and has stood up to them on occasion about the squad and cost cutting. However, he has not yet given the chairmen any reason to sack him and furthermore both Gold and Sullivan know that the West Ham fans LOVE Zola and have embraced him as one of them. Therefore unnecessarily sacking him is only going to anger them. Should West Ham be relegated or have a poor start to the next season then they will look to replace him, with Mark Hughes, Slaven Bilic, Paulo Di Canio and (Amazingly) Alan Curbishley all being looked at. Hughes is the preferred choice due to his premier league experience and ability to work on a budget but the David's would apparently love to get Di Canio involved as well to appease the fans if Zola does go.

2. The rumours regarding Beckham do have some truth. Gold is an admirer of Beckham and sees bringing him in more of a revenue generator and would therefore see paying his wages as a worthy investment. However, from what I can gather, Beckham is intent on spending the rest of his career in L.A with galaxy and in Milan with AC. He doesn't need the massive pay deal from the Hammers so will only join if he has a sudden change of heart and has the desire to play at Upton Park.

3. Transfer rumours coming out of the manager's office and the chairmen's office.

Ins (possibly):
S.Larsson
L.Ridgewell (Both Birmingham)
P.Senderos (Aresnal)
M.Richards (Man City)
Benjani (Man City)
Hart (loan, Man City)

Outs (Possibly) :
Dyer (Board want him to prove fitness or leave the club)
Upson (would accept a decent offer, especially since he hasn't signed a new contract)
Green (same as above)
Mido (back to Middleborough)
Franco (released)
Spector (apparently West Brom had been knocking for him in January, so let's see)

Cheers for reading

Wads
