Mike Newell is favourite to become Leicester City's new boss once Milan Mandaric takes over! Newell who is willing to leave Luton had been contacted before Rob Kelly was manager but now wants the job. Newell has now leap frogged Iain Dowie to become Leicester boss.

Arsenal have proved that they don't need to bring any new players in this month. If two consecutive wins at Anfield weren't enough, or a win over Blackburn while down to 10 men wasn't enough, then the staggering victory over Manchester United is surely proof that Arsene Wenger has a more than quality squad. Arsenal still have players such as Freddie Ljungberg and William Gallas to return, but 2007 has brought about five wins from five games and the best team in North London are on fire. The only transfer activity surrounding Arsenal will be the reluctant sale of Jeremie Aliadiere to Middlesbrough. Lauren and Anthony Stokes have already left, and Aliadiere will force a move as he is itching for first team football. Mark Viduka is poised to leave the Riverside in the summer and Aliadiere could replace him on Teeside. I'm on my way up to Boro in a fortnight for the Boro v Arsenal game, and I'm willing to bet that I'll be seeing Aliadiere lining up against my beloved Gunners.

Kasabian are set to become share-holders of Leicester City once Milan takes over the club and Gary Linker wants another stake in the club aswell.

Cudichini is set to join Fulham on loan, after it was revealled that Anti Neomi will be out for longer than expected.

With Andy Johnson likely to miss the rest of the season, David Moyes is only left with Victor Anichebe, James McFadden and James Beattie with Beattie set to move to Scotland. James Vaughan is also likely to move into the squad but David Moyes will up his persuit of Man United striker Alan Smith.

Rafa has secured an agreement with Valencia for a summer move for David Villa for €30M according to my source in Dubai. The move was supposed to have happened last summer but the asking price was out of reach. I have friends in Dubai who are well connected to DIC. DIC want to sign 1 big star in the summer (possibly Henry) just to create global hype for the club and increase global merchandising. They would not say who the big name is but said it's a big name forward.

Crouch will be sold in the summer. Xabi or Reina will be part of the Villa deal. Dani Alves looks likely this summer as he has been a long term target. There will be no more signings this Jan. Rafa has been given a £40 million summer budget plus £30M from sales of Crouch, Cisse, Reina, Zenden (plus fringe players ) = £70M. Rafa will sign 3 world class players. Hamed

Aston Villa will hold a rumours conference on monday afternoon confirming the sinatures of Ashley Young from Watford and John Carew from Lyon. The John Carew transfer will be a straight swap deal with Milan Baros.

Martin O'Neil will also confirm that they've had a late bid for Papa Bouba Diop accepted as they prepare to battle Wigan for his signture!

Everton will swoop for David nugent definitely now in January for 4. 5m - 100% I work in bellfield and I have some him once

Rangers will sign ivan sproule as he is a diehard fan.

Celtic will sign kieran Richardson and sharlie joseph from a mls team.

c gordon will sign with Arsenal for 4 million at the end of the season.

hargreaves won't sign with Man Utd because he costs 2much and their is better cheaper players out their.

maloney will go to Newcastle and kenny miller will go to Everton with Beattie coming the other way.

zurawski will leave and go to the portugeese league

All this rubbish about man you signing Torres for 27 mill, its bull. I know this is for rumours but this is a fact and players I have heard West Ham will unvail a huge unexpected signing next week, and its not Lucas Neill

Mikel Forrsel is a top transfer target for Leicester and could come for a knock down price of 1million.

Rab Douglas is unhappy at Leicester and is expected to join league 1 outfit Gillingham.

Mike Newell is favoutite to become the new Leicester city boss when Milan Mandaric takes over the club.

Leicester are trying to attract two young Brazillians via their youth development coach.

It is expected that if Fryatt doesn't get a respectable amount of goals this season then he could be sold in the summer with Fulham, West Ham and promotion hopefulls West Brom ready to pounce on the nifty striker

ALAN CURBISHLEY WILL SIGN THIS WEEK.

SUBS. green, spector, benayoun, cole, Tevez.

Airdrie United will re-sign Kevin McDonald from Hibs, on a permanent deal this time. Bryn Halliwell could be lined up for a loan move until the end of the season from St Johnstone. Xavier Barrau and Aime Koudou will sign 2 year deals before bigger clubs take interest.

Liverpool are to offer £11 million for Klaas Jan Huntelaar who Rafa Benitez believes is the perfect strike partner for the impressive Dirk Kuyt. Rafa Benitez is keen to keep Craig Bellamy and use his as a squad player although many clubs are interested in the Welsh striker. Peter Crouch may leave Anfield in the summer with Newcastle and Portsmouth both weighing up moves of around £10. 5 million.

Sir Alex Ferguson lodged a £7 million bid for Huntelaar on Sunday morning, prior to the Arsenal match.

LIVERPOOL TRANSFER RUMOURS

Liverpool hope to complete the signing of Javier Mascherano from West Ham next week, also they are now close to signing a back-up for steve finnan as Lucas Neil has signed for West Ham, Roberto Ayala has also agreed a free transfer in the summer.

Expect big name signings in the summer with DIC looking to bring in some of Rafa's first choice targets which include David Villa.

100% TRUE A deal for Rafael van der Vaart has been agreed by LFC for the summer. I live in Holland and work for a rumours agency. The new Dutch boy Jordy Brouwer was brought to Rafa's attention by Van der Vaart's agent and not LFC scouts. Both Brouwer and Van der Vaart are managed by the same firm "Essel Sports Management".

Luton won't sell Leon Barnett in this window but may sign one of two - Darius Henderson or Billy Sharpe as Super Newell desperately needs a new goalscorer after Rowan Vine's departure, however no doubt if we sign a good player he will be sold on as soon as he get's good!

Joel 'The Happy Hatter'

Whilst drinking in a pub in Kenilworth I overheard ( Ear-wigged ) a conversation between an ex player and a current member of the team regarding a big investment from a consortium for Coventry City within the next 4-6 weeks.

Milan Mandaric faces a rival bid for control of Leicester City. Former Director James Johnson is behind a consortium aiming to derail the Mandaric bid and seize control of the Championship side, Johnson will begin his campaign by declaring his intentions on local radio.

If Viduka is allowed to leave the Riverside, expect Woodgate and Downing to follow. Woodgate feels as though the club needs more high profile players, and only considers himself and Viduka to be in that category. One of my offsiders revealed this to me today as he knows that Middlesbrough will offer Viduka a new deal, which he will turndown. Melbourne Knights may make a surprise move for Dukes, to try and lure him to the fledgling A-League a-la Beckham.
