Liverpool are interested in signing either Eden Hazard or Sergio Aguero as a marquee signing. Liverpool are in conversation with both players and have made formal approaches but no fees have been agreed. Both deals are extremely difficult with Hazard interested in Arsenal and Aguero market value high. In both cases Liverpool would not enter a bidding war.
Other deals have been lined up and await fee negotiation with their respective clubs. The players have indicated a willingness to sign for Liverpool.

Neil Danns will complete his move to Southampton in the near future, with the Saints paying good wages and the push for back to back promotions firmly in motion, he see's it as a good move.
He also knows a lot of the lads at SFC, through various different connections. Two being Jose Fonte and Danny Butterfield who both played with the CM at Crystal Palace.
Danns is out of contract and is available on a bosmon free transfer, as of the 22nd of June.

Some of the things people come up with on here.. firstly, Matt Hale was sacked after 8 months, just about, at Weymouth after getting them relegated, or failing to save them, rather. Andy Tillson, before Matty even knew about Weymouth, had to agreed to become number 2 to Tisdale at Exeter (where he still is) and those two have never managed at the same club, apart from when Matty was youth head coach at Team Bath, and Tilly was the first team manager, total rubbish.
Matt Hale worked with Tillson at Weymouth, for a short period of time but he did work with Tillson, and same with Team Bath. Hale was sacked because the owner was not willing to back him, so he basically had a squad of kids, and the owner only wanted the land. Both are in talks with Rovers currently. Also Robins wouldn't drop down 2 divisions, and Ling hasn't been proven. Hale/ Tillson will be named within a week. I promise you that.(1)(4)

I hope that the articles in many of today's sports pages will finally put to rest the ridiculous "Moyes to Villa" posts & rumours. Moysie has stated publicly that he is not interested in the Villa post, & that he is preparing for next season in the knowledge that he will not have millions to spend. That doesn't sound like someone who, "thinks he has taken Everton as far as he can", to quote a line I am sick of seeing on these pages. One of my only worries is that we may lose Bainsey this summer. However, it will not be for some of the paltry figures some posters have been quoting, (dream on, Kopites! ). I have heard the only way he will leave is in a Lescott like deal - i.e. someone like Man City paying £25million +. There are some rumours that Moysie may take a couple of players plus cash. (Personally, I wouldn't mind Milner & Richards in a deal like that!) Ideally though I'd still love to have Bainsey here next season.
The main targets will be strikers though, & names already mentioned include Klose, Defoe, C. Cole & Crouch.

Bristol Rovers were close to reaching an agreement with Danny Wilson to become manager until Barnsley parted with Mark Robins. Wilson is now likely to take over the championship club with former Weymouth manager Matt Hale becoming the new boss. Andy Tillson expected to become Assistant Manager after working with Hale at Weymouth.

Some of the things people come up with on here.. firstly, Matt Hale was sacked after 8 months, just about, at Weymouth after getting them relegated, or failing to save them, rather. Andy Tillson, before Matty even knew about Weymouth, had to agreed to become number 2 to Tisdale at Exeter (where he still is) and those two have never managed at the same club, apart from when Matty was youth head coach at Team Bath, and Tilly was the first team manager, total rubbish.
I'm not a Rovers fan, but I know enough about them. Buckle won't leave for Rovers in my opinion, Wilson will go back to manage at Barnsley again, although Tillson was probably discussed a some point... my money would be on Ling or Robins.(2)(5)
