Championship bound Bournemouth are look closely at the situation at Swindon town with defender on loan at Birmingham Paul caddis and will bid around 250k swindon are looking for 300k

Blues have already offered 250K but we want 500K, so I can't see us selling him to Bmouth for 250K, although I would have said the same about selling Matt Ritchie to them for 400k.

21 Apr 2013 22:54:18
Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Nicky Weaver has been offered a trial at league one side Walsall. Weaver has been Wednesday's fourth choice GK this season behind Kirkland, Bywater and Davies

After gaining promotion to the Championship, Eddie Howe is already planning for next season and has been seen at a number of games recently scouting potential new recruits. Some of the players include Harry Forrester, Jacques Maghoma, Marlon Pack, ex Cherris skipper Jason Pearce and Aden Flint who's out of contract at Swindon this summer.

Pack is no better than the midfielders we have, why would we want him, Flint would be a good signing, although Swinedon fans moan about his distribution, I heard we are in for Greer at Brighton.

Flint just can't play average, he either looks like a potential prem player or someone who has never played football before. still young though,

Why would anyone pay us money for Caddis when Caddis is out of contract in the summer?

21 Apr 2013 22:08:04
Peterborough could make a surprise loan move for Michael Jacobs this summer. The Rams are looking to sign Forsyth permanently as well as another striker/winger.

21 Apr 2013 21:59:57
Been confirmed tonight Sheffield United have won the race for Belper Town goalkeeper Aaron Chapman. The Blades will pay no fee for the player but the deal consists as follows; For 3 seasons they will have a pre season friendly at Belper with all the funds going to the Nailers, for the next 3 seasons Belper will get first preference on academy players who are available on loan. Belper will also get a slight percentage if Sheffield did eventually sell Chapman.

Bristol up to 15 player are leaving so it is easier to names ones to stay kelly heaton carey if he don't retire anderson and possibly Cunningham and the ginger one from the 1st team giving more room for reid and bryan (if a prem team don't want him i. e liverpool) and some free transfers will be coming in with all the sales it should pay back at least 7 to 10 million with one to two million to be spent on players to rebuild the squad people who are leaving on a free stead skuse and eillot may all go to mid champ team more aimed at skuse then any other does not want be there anymore and show pride in the team and city which helped him he his career {Ed034's Note - I would expect Cunningham to leave as well. He has many admirers in the championship

21 Apr 2013 21:31:27
Preston manager Simon Grayson wants Lee Novak from Huddersfield.
Brighton manager Gus Poyet wants Lucas Piazon from Chelsea and wants Nathan Chalobah if Brighton get promoted and Watford dont.
Hull have started planning for the Premier league and their targets include Connor Wickham and Nick Powell on loan.

Crikey. what will all the super novak town fans think to that? Especially after his little cameo role on saturday, when he came on, sent clean through once again, and failed to score once again! But how he will run and run and run for the cause!

Lucas piazon is too good for us unless we suddenly go up and come 3rd - 4th in the premiership in the first season

Chalobah very good call up but paizon don't know

21 Apr 2013 21:27:01
Plymouth Argyle skipper Conor Hourihane to join West Ham United this summer.

Why would that ever happen?

A good young player will do well in the Championship, not sure he is Premiership standard though.

No way would most likely join Yeovil if they get promoted

21 Apr 2013 21:12:28
middlesbrough are intrested in a deal for aston villa striker nathan delfouneso who has apparently been made available for 500K

He hasn't had a chance under lambert and has impressed on loan at blackpool

Basically, not good enough for Premier League and will be available for Championship club.

Poor player

Middlesbrough won't be signing anyone for 500k they're skint Imo

21 Apr 2013 20:24:21
MON met with Leicester's Thai owners last week, but declined an offer to take over next season

First soundings only, he will end up at Leicester.

21 Apr 2013 20:15:19
Bournemouth want to sign Nathan Thompson at Right Back to battle with Francis now the club have been promoted. Howe is also after Sam Vokes from Burnley, however I don't think we need Wade Elliott. Dan Seabourne is going back to Southampton.

MacDonald isn't moving

Wade Elliott, no chance. Too old.

Howe got rid of Wade Elliot from Burnley because he couldn't manage him there. (friends, older than he is etc)

There's no chance of Howe signing him from B'ham now.

21 Apr 2013 19:16:35
Montreal Impact's Jeb Brovsky is wanted by Ipswich Town.

21 Apr 2013 19:15:46
Hull City are set to sign nine players in order to stay up in the Premier League while getting rid of a few fringe players.

Ins:

Ahmed Elmohamady (Sunderland)
George Boyd (Peterborough)
David Stockdale (Fulham)
Paul Robinson (Blackburn)
Titus Bramble (Sunderland)
Daniel Ayala (Norwich)
Darren Bent (Aston Villa)
Romelu Lukaku (Chelsea - loan)
Mile Jedinak (Crystal Palace)

Outs:

Andy Dawson (retirement)
Abdoulaye Faye
Paul McKenna
Seyi Olofinjana
Jamie Devitt
Mark Cullen
Cameron Stewart
Jay Simpson
Nick Proschwitz
Aaron McLean
Gedo (loan not renewed)
Ahmed Fathy (loan not renewed)

Don't see why you want to sign titus bramble and Lukaku and bent are too good for hull but the rest are probable

Lukaku and Bent?! Dream on!

Why would we get rid of Proschwitz when we payed 2.5 million for him at the start of last season? And as for getting rid of Faye? He maybe getting on, but City would be mad to get rid of him!

Lukaku will either stay at Chelsea or be loaned out to a team playing in Europe.

What is it with Hull fans last couple of days and these wild rumours? Lukaku and Bent are you crazy! Not in a million years. Both are far too good.

Norwich Won't Sell Ayala yet. he will have another chance to go through a season without a serious injury before then. a loan to a prem team like hull would be good though.

Robinson AND Stockdale. Two goalkeepers. really. Both on high wages and both would command a fee of around £2m. Good way to start getting in to trouble!

22 Apr 2013 08:48:31
Kenwyn Jones, Charlie Austin and Gary Hooper (given he has only 1 year left on his current deal) are more realistic targets for up front. Given his past history don't be surprised if Bruce goes for an as yet little known striker from abroad either. Not a rumour as such but I would prefer Bruce to go for the likes of Bridcutt from Brighton or Guerdiola from Forest assuming neither goes up, ie scour the best of the Championship, rather than go for failed Prem reserves on big wages.

Jedinak will not go to hull, it is a giant step back for him to go there. He will go to hell before hull, hell is the better option.

Lukaku to Hull haha that's the funniest rumour I've ever heard.

Bent & Lukaku!?
Dream on!

21 Apr 2013 18:56:14
Wade Elliot has agreed a 2 year deal with bournemouth

Yeah been told this aswell but won't be confirmed until end of season

So is that an illegal approach as they are not allowed to talk to other English clubs until the end of their current contracts.

No it isn't. A player can talk and or agree a new contract with a new club months before his contract expires. Steve McManaman signed his Real Madrid contract in January before his current deal expired. {Ed034's Note - Real Madrid are not an English club

21 Apr 2013 18:55:50
Burnley are set to hold talks over the summer with bournemouth over Sam vokes for 500k

Very possible- Howe signed him for Burnley, he's an ex-cherry and I'm not sure that Dyche really rates him so this is a possible move.

Also at 500k Burnley would be getting their money back on him.

21 Apr 2013 17:34:52
Millwall Ins:
L. Steele (Barnsley) - 450k
A. Barnes (Brighton) - 750K
L. Lita (Swansea) - 1m
Outs:
D. Forde (Nottingham Forrest) - 500k
L. Trotter (Brighton) - 1.5m

21 Apr 2013 19:01:05
Stoke city chairman peter coates will release tony pulis from his duty's even after what he's done for the club, coates is looking at steve bruce, martin o'neil and gary megson to replace pulis.
Whoever takes charge for next season will be given a decent budget of £25m to adjust the team
Ins:
Clement chantome - PSG - season long loan
Gary hooper - Celtic - £6m
Nicklas bendtner - Arsenal - £4m
Kevin mirallas - Everton - £10m
Nathan redmond - birmingham - £5m
Out:
Peter crouch - QPR - £3m
Glenn whelan - Wolves - £2m
Dean whitehead - Bolton £2.5m {Ed034's Note - I am presuming the in and out list is what you want to happen and not you saying is going to happen, as if you do not know who is in charge, it would be impossible to know who the transfer targets are

We will have to wait and see if KJ is still at Millwall next season?

All these 'transfers' are all unrealistic. For example why would everton sell mirallas and why would he go to a worse team?

Bendtner will never accept such a wage cut.

If the L. Trotter deal does go through Barnes will probably be part of a part exchange deal with Millwall

Haha mirallas to stoke - best joke of the day so far. utter rubbish - ED can you put an end to unfounded rubbish?

Why wouldn't KJ be at millwall next season!

Lets 'ALL' just hope that we are still in the Championship next season and take it from there. As regards KJ i'm really not too sure about him, money wasted on bad loans, tactics?, team selections for matches and style of football for much of the season ie 'LONG BALL' IMO!

Why this Stoke rumor linked in with the Swans rumors?

Steele is out of contract at the end of the season

Cost a lot more than £450k for Luke Steele

Millwall will be in for 1 GK, 1 LB, 1 AM & 2 CS.

Luke steeles contract expires in June, why would anyone have to pay anything??

Pourt won't get rid of Barnes now he's in good form but he's not good enough for the premiership

21 Apr 2013 16:58:39
Pompey Youngster, Jed Wallace is linked with a move to South-Coast rivals Brighton in an attempt to raise funds and finally have stability at the Club. The deal is said to be worth around £1m

Wallace will almost certainly move on this summer, but where to is anyones guess.

21 Apr 2013 16:30:26
Oxford United's, Tom Craddock and Harry Worley have already agreed contracts at other clubs. Both are out of contract, and won't be offered new deals.
Neither have been in the matchday squads recently. And Worley has refused to even go on the bench since knowing he was definately leaving this summer.
Worley has hardly played a game for 2 seasons, Craddock was injured all last season bar the odd game, and has scored 12 goals this season

21 Apr 2013 17:28:28
Both very poor players think you can add rest of squad to that

Sounds about right. Feel Worley has had a poor deal with our management and not given to many chances. Craddock, not a hit with the supporters. Some suggest he has lots of skill and wasted playing in Div 2? Some think he is lazy and not a team player. I support the latter

Craddock has been disappointing to say the least. Not even on the bench yesterday and is on his way. Not that loyal to OUFC in my view as has had injuries and then when he is back, does not put the effort in. Wherever he goes, wish him well but he will frustrate the supporters. Worley has had his share of injuries and I also think he has not had a fair shout in the first team. Major changes due and announcements to be maqe in next week or so

21 Apr 2013 16:09:09
Ronnie Moore is set to offer a trial to former Ashville FC centre forward and goal scoring sensantion Luke Brown during pre season

21 Apr 2013 15:43:10
Malky Mackay could become the next Everton manager, Cardiff are going down next season.

Never he just got Cardiff promoted he will probably stay at Cardiff for at least another 2 or 3 Years

No chance

He won't want to leave

Hes not good enough for us

No chance malky will leave, malky is a bluebird {Ed034's Note - im sure Swansea said the same

Nice one son; man after my own heart. Up the Swans!

Would love to think that Malky would remain loyal and see another good couple of years at cardiff but football is business and money talks. If everton come calling he's likely to leave. I would be disappointed to see him go but I think we'll stay up all the same

23 Apr 2013 13:04:22
As a Hornets fan I'd love to see Malky do well as he's a good young manager, however I think he'll stay at CFC, and for you to say Cardiff are going down when most promoted teams these days survive is toilet.

More likely EFE would move for Sanchez from Wigan, by the way Malkys a Celtic Fan through and through

21 Apr 2013 15:22:57
I can tell you that Bristol City are hoping to benefit from a Cardiff City clearout following the Welsh clubs promotion, and have already made Kevin McNaughton & Craig Conway top targets as they look to bounce straight back up at the first attempt.

Conway will be playing next year, kev probably won't unfourtunatley but I can't see him join you in league 1

Does not fit our model of recruiting young players

21 Apr 2013 14:51:42
Oldham trying to sign Paul choles from United for free in the summer as Player-coach

Yawn! When was the first time this was rumoured. 3 years ago maybe?

21 Apr 2013 12:48:01
There are likely to be lots of summer changes for MK Dons:

Mick Harford looks likely to leave with Alan Smith looking to take a player/assistant manager role. Alan Smith is constantly seen talking with Karl Robinson throughout games, as though he is being mentored. Smith has also taken control of Dons teams in the Berks and Bucks cup this season.

Ian Wright looks either set to leave or to move into a scout role to cover the position that was vacated when Alex Rae left to link up with Paul Ince at Blackpool back in February.

Releases/Contracts ending:
*Gary MacKenzie - has been performing well for Blackpool and will probably join them on a free.
*Shaun Williams - It's been very quiet on the contract front with Shauny and I fear this is a bad sign. Not sure if he is likely to make a step up to the Championship down the confusion on his true position.
*Stephen Gleeson - Obviously not confirmed, but looks very likely. Gleeson has been the stand-out player this season and has he not been out injured for so many games, we may well have reached the playoffs comfortably. Could see him easily making the jump to the Championship.
*Jon Otsemobor - The Heel of God has made him a club legend, but in reality his overall performances have been far from spectacular. He may get an extension, but can see him leaving.
Mathias Kouo-Doumbe - He is going to be 34 in October this season and spent long periods of this season out of the squad due to fitness. At best he MIGHT get a 1 year extension, but may well go elsewhere.
*George Baldock - Went on loan to Iceland and returned to an injury hit midfield and still didn't make a break. Likely to be released.

Likely contract extensions:

*Dean Lewington - 2/3 year contract extension likely for Deano. Should be announced within the next 2-3 weeks.
*Dean Bowditch - 1 year contract extension to be agreed. Again within the next 2-3 weeks.
*Ian McLoughlin - 1 year contract extension for McLoughlin after a fairly impressive run of clean sheets that brought the Dons on a late run for the playoffs.

Players in:

*Patrick Bamford (loan) - Robinson has seen sparks of brilliance from Bambi and will want to get him on a season-long loan.

No other news yet, but will see what I can find and provide updates as and when.

Looks like big head KR will also be leaving according to an insider, as he has failed to deliver more than once to his loyal chairman, even bringing an "extra 4 managers this season" although they have seen through him and are gradually leaving for pastures new. Advice to KR is when you get another job that is IF, make a better fist of it, don`t think you are better than you actually are, and finally stop constantly going on at 4th officials, just watch your players on the pitch, as its you who has put them on there, it is you who brought them to the club, so look no further than yourself, if you have complaints about failure!

Please don't extend McLoughlin's contract! He's a nightmare waiting to happen. Can't command his area, takes thirty seconds to think what he's going to do every time he has the ball, spills even the mildest daisy-cutter regularly, but the biggest issue is that he lacks the concentration required to be a decent keeper. Everything else can be coached but if you switch off like he does then you'll never make it.

"According to an insider" Pah! Only once person knows what's going on at MK and that's Pete. None of the staff have a clue about his thinking on the football side of things. Anyone you may know at the club won't have spent more than five minutes talking football with Pete unless they're his Financial Director or the club's lawyers.

I think the whole club is a disaster waiting to happen. Yet again we've come up short, our crowds are painfully low for the size of stadium we have, Winkelman allegedly subsidises the gate receipts (bizarre!), we have no squad depth and it looks like our better players ate likely to leave in the summer. We've had 4 decent attempts to get promotion now and blown the lot, we ain't going to get many more chances. I think we need a new chairman who understands that some money has to put into strengthening the squad and not just the stadium/facilities etc. We need better players and a manager who just reels off one excuse after another when things go wrong. Nothing ever seems to be his fault. Time for Robbo to go and a strong coffee for Winkelman to wake him up and see how we're perennially letting ourselves down. Otherwise, just forget about promotion and accept that we're third tier material and likely to be for a depressingly long time.

Not happy.

Must agree Robinson ain't got a clue, how many goes does he think he can realistically have at promotion? Then complains about this, that and the next thing. Give Davis a go from Crewe, then we may progress next time.

Stephen Gleeson will probably go to a bigger club in the championship or possibly the Bpl. I heard West Ham and Norwich are trying to strengthen their midfield. When Bowditch plays you can see the frustration on his face when he thinks he may not play at a higher level
so their may be a move there.

Been to too many away games where KR has apologised for the performance the last 2 Orient and then Scunhorpe. Had we a bigger squad a striker hat can hit the back of the net then we would have walked this league. Yes all change starting with goalie - he might hae had 6 out of 8 clean sheets but he is shaky, flaps and never moves to dominate his 6 yard box. Many changes to come I feel and when will KR or Winkleman learn you cannot do well these days on a minute squad who play every game and hardly fill the bench most games. Bamford for season long loan but needs to ply with big striker up front. Deano looks slower than ever and maybe put him centre back and Chicksen left back. Intersting whether we can makesome decent signings or will it be loans again. Lines looks decent and good addition. A really disappointing year with only FA Cup as highlights. Smith is not a coach as went to the game with Beaconsfield and he was in charge but never said a word during the game it was all 'mouthy Rae' so best to get rid of Harford, Smith, Wright asap. We need fire in the bellies again otherwise it will off to Fleetwood/Torquay. COYD

McLoughlin is quality. 10 times better (if not more!) than Martin. All McLoughlin needs is to work so hard over the close season, then I think he will be the best keep in the league. I've heard from the big man, Winky at a fans forum, that Martin is on a 100K salary so he is likely to go as they have also fallen out.

As for Robbo, I'm not that bothered if he's here next season and books his ideas up or we get and experienced manager who knows what he's doing. If Lee Clarke leaves Birmingham then I would personally love to see him at the Dons. He's a great manager, knows the hidden jems and always makes his team play excellent football. Don't forget this season that Robbo hasn't had Gorman which I think has been the biggest miss this season.

Winkleman does care about the team but I do agree he should invest way more into transfers. He doesn't just care about the stadium, the stadium is being built with 'ring fenced money'.

Next season we need to bring in another striker, like BWP if Ian is still here but looking more like Bamford. Gleeson will go so another CM. Start building the defence again because they have been a shambles this season. Robbo (or who ever is coming in) need to buy an quality squad not just a quality first XI.

I personally think I could do a better job than Robinson. I'll be sure to send my CV into the big man when the time comes.

PS. Sorry I know it's so long (oo er)

Have you been watching McLoughlin this last few games? Can't catch a cold! He's about three years away from being a reasonable keeper. We can't risk him being no' 1 next season.

Time for a change - if we can't do it with most of squad from last year then no chance. Having Chad and Glee injured at same time for so long did not help but what do they say - yu need a quality goal scorer. My thoughts are - martin will go, McClaug - good as reserve goalie, Lew, Chick, Kay stay - Doumbe always injured and no confidence on ball and Osten - his passing is shocking so both out. Potter, Shaun and Bow I hope will stay - Shauny does lack pace so might struggle at higher level. Glee will go. Chad/Powell new contracts so staying. McCleod/Lowe will stay 1 more year. Lines I hope stays. Baldock just not suitable so why we sold O'Shea and kept Baldock I have no idea. Harford, Wright, Smith all out. K keep him but only if he stops moaning, gets a decent squad or let's just change it all.

We need to renew our whole sqaud just keeps some players
Bowditch, Powell and Chicksen are quality players, as for the rest. well

"Many changes to come I feel and when will KR or Winkleman learn you cannot do well these days on a minute squad who play every game and hardly fill the bench most games. "

Have to agree with this. Typical of Winkelman, always expecting miracles on the cheap and with the usual threadbare squad. Robbo's had his chances and blown them, time for him to go perhaps and discipline needs improving too. Far too many red cards this season.

Blimey! Some people do talk a load of Man Utd. I seriously wonder if some of the quotes above are actually by fans who have been to see the Don's play. Robbo will stay, Smudge will also stay. I agree that we need a proper reliable right back and a goal scorer, but also need to bring in a winger to give Bowd's the occassional rest. Powelly I think may be moved on as he is so inconsistent if he's rubbish in the first half he's damn quality in the second or vice-versa but I guess we will wait and see if the Cup run has generated enough cash to have a bigger squad next season. COYD's

Powell signed a two year deal only last month. He won't be moving on.

Likewise, several of the others mentioned as ones people want "to get rid of" are under contract for next season: Kay, McLeod, Lowe etc. You can't just get shot of them without paying up the value of their contract for that year. That won't happen.

". I guess we will wait and see if the Cup run has generated enough cash to have a bigger squad next season. COYD's"

You ARE joking right? You don't actually think Winkelman would give the manger real, genuine money do you? I mean, to actually buy a player?! Only if Winkelman had a personality transplant would this happen. Any cash that was generated by our distracting and frankly, unwanted cup run, will be used to pay off the money committed to the whole white elephant that is our glorious stadium. Maybe some extra retail space or car parking for a supermarket, but players? Not in a bazillion years! We're staying at league 1 level indefinitely (unless we're relegated, which is quite possible), get used to the idea.

Spot the posts from our naughty cousins in South London lol. Now for some sensible comments:

The budget next season will be smaller than last - confirmed by Robbo in local rag this week.

Robbo confirmed today that he has met several agents in an attempt to bring in new players. He also suggested he would be looking for players in lower leagues than the Dons.

Strong rumours coming from the Dons that MacKenzie, Doumbe and Martin are on their way out with Adam Chicksen keeping his options open.

More dubious rumour is that Mick Harford will be in charge of scouting with Alan Smith replacing him as assistant manager.

You think MacKenzie leaving is a rumour? He's gone! Did well for Blackpool in his stint there and Ince is a fan (the reason we got him originally) so his loan was effectively a trial which it looks like he's succeeded in securing a move. As for Doumbé? He's past it so no great loss. Would be a bit sad to see Martin go but it will make no difference in the end, we are not going up any time soon. Financial constraints + naive management = staying in league 1.
Period.

So, how much do you think we'll get for Mackenzie? Robbo and Pete both referred to him as a "half a million pound asset" recently when questions were first raised over his loan to Blackpool. I can't really see us getting anything like that for him, but I'm sure a figure would have been agreed with Blackpool prior to the move and they wouldn't have stated that sum if that's far above what's been agreed.

MacKenzie? Probably £250k or so. Anyway, even if we got a million it WILL NOT be out into the squad. Winkelman simply doesn't believe in spending on players and the financial millstone that is our glorious white elephant of a stadium will be the focus of of any available funds.

We are screwed. Promotion will not happen.

Of course it won't be spent on a transfer fee. You do know that if you get a free transfer and sign him for a three year contract then that's the best part of half a million quid in wages you've committed too, don't you?

Stop bleating just because we don't spend on transfer fee's. we spend on wages. for instance it's probably coat over a million pound to have Luke Chadwick as part of this team for the last four years. He was a free transfer too, you know. Our fans really don't understand how the economics of football actually work!

21 Apr 2013 14:23:28
Homesick Pablo Hernandez will move home to Spain this summer as after every match he travels to Malaga and flies back early hours Monday morning. He could be used in a deal to take Carlos Vela to Swansea from Real Sociedad.

Looooool what a waste of 5.5 million

He actually goes for a meal after every match with the other players or his family and oh yeah he's not from malaga

21 Apr 2013 14:22:27
Cardiff could sign Kevin Davis in the summer as he has a lot of premier league experience.

Heard he could be on his way to Burnley. big mates with Dyche from their days together at Chesterfield

Maybe Bolton will also go in Premier league. I don't think they will sell him.

21 Apr 2013 13:19:59
Mark Robbins is looking to boycott Ipswich's summer move for David Mcgoldrick. Huddersfield are also willing to sell Jack Hunt who is unhappy at the club

I think hijack is the word you're looking for rather than boycott.

I think he was about right, he probably knows more about cricket than football.

Doesn't score enough goals

We already have the non league super star on board. Why buy another striker unless Vaughan and beckford are going back.

Will not happen money has already been agreed as have wages if you want to pay more money than we are be my guest he is good but not worth the money we are paying on my opinion.

Mcgoldricks on a free but agreed pre contract

Why don`t we just get linked to all Coventry players who have played under Robins, or he brought in there on loan, and have done with it! Why would we want league 1 standard players?

Jack Hunt isn't unhappy

21 Apr 2013 13:13:17
manuel fernandes of besiktas will join westham next season

21 Apr 2013 12:59:54
wba will bring in danny simpson this summer on a free transfer from newcastle. another player set for a free transfer to the baggies is reading central defender alex pearce.

Hope this is not true, the bloke is a legend in his own mind. Uberchav

Pearce is terrible now! You can have him.

Alex Pearce is Readings best defender! He is not being selected because Adkins is preparing for the championship and Reding know they can't hold onto him. Lucky he didn't sign early on as now he has some premiership football to look forward to. Unlike Reading FC!

I'd say Mariappa is better then Pearce.

Not sure why any prem clubs are interested in any of our players none of them have proved they are good enough to play in the premier league this season.

Pearce can go. He's just after the money. He's been offered a new deal 8 times now. His stunt at the Crawley game kissing the badge and giving the thumbs up when the fans sang about him signing a new deal leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

21 Apr 2013 12:50:32
Doncaster Rovers will be in a position to buy Billy Sharp if promotion is achieved this season

One reason why Sharp would want to join doncaster?

21 Apr 2013 16:56:09
He's practically a legend there? There's your reason. Still unlikely, but you only asked for one reason and that is it.

Do you really think we could afford the price tag? Southampton will ate sat want the money back the spent on buying him from us, going to be at least 3 million I suspect what a stupid rumour

Regarding Sharp, sadly unlikely, but more importantly, if players according to Flynn were bricking themselves last Saturday, then what will they be like next week away at Brentford? Those within the club cannot accuse the supporters of putting undue pressure on the players during the game, & even Flynn acknowledges that in his post match comments! Therefore the fear was created internally within the club/squad & if so why?

21 Apr 2013 12:26:40
Swansea winger Pablo Hernandez is set to leave the club this summer after his poor run of performances and Swansea are eyeing Tom Ince as a replacement.

I'd rather keep Pablo than spend a lot of money for a replacement

Lies lies he quoted yesterday that he can't wait for next season! tom ince will cost swansea loads! Can't see this happening

We could have got a better winger with that 5.5 million spent on Pablo "inconsistent" hernandez : (

I also read the article on how he said he was looking forward to next year and how the fans can expect more from him!

Oldham Manager Lee Johnson is prepared to offer FA Cup and League star Matt Smith a new 2 year contract, despite the striker having attracted major interest from championship clubs Birmingham, Millwall, Charlton and League One promotion candidates Swindon Town.

Utter tripe, I am a Town fan and we haven't got any cash, Wright is a very good player who I would love to sign, but we are skint!

Where is anyone saying about wright!

Loic Remy attracting interest from Everton, Fulham, Tottenham, West Brom and West Ham.

Hopefully WBA can get remy cheap, it is what they need

Would love Albion to sign him, I've been hoping for this rumour for ages

Probably most likely go to Tottenham out of that list, but hopefully WBA!

Albion couldn't afford his wages

They could afford his wages they just won't pay them

Don't want Remy at Fulham

Love remy at the baggies

Cant afford his wages? wba have 60 million spends next season, would love him with us especially if lukaku can't have another season {Ed003's Note - £60m ? }

Pompey will sign frazer richardson who is out of contract at the end of season, he is best mates with David david connolly who is currently at Portsmouth

David david connolly, so good they named him twice.

You mean the David Connolly who will be leaving to play at a higher level than L2 and earn a higher wage than Pompey can afford?

22 Apr 2013 16:32:56
He's brill

Connolly is 35 and he has a chance to win the title in league 2, there's no point in him playing in an average league 1 team and not win anything.

Why is Connolly leaving? How do you know this? I think you'll find, like 99% of the current squad, he will stay on.

Frazer richardson is to good for league 2.

Why is Connolly leaving? Because he is much better than L2 standard so can play at a higher level and EARN MORE DOSH! Players with a year or so left in the game are looking to secure their financial futures, and he ain't going to do that on peanuts.

Everton, Stoke and Swansea are ready to move for FC Copenhagen's Denmark striker Andreas Cornelius, but Swansea are leading the race because of Laudrup and Wieghorst

Realy its already I done deal he is going stoke

Don't think it's a done deal, but I really hope it does happen!

Would love him at Swansea

Not a done deal at all. Stoke have made serious enquiries and Thomas Sorensen has spoken to the player but a deal is nowhere near close

Club Brugge winger Maxime Lestienne is set to complete a £3m move to Norwich City in the next few weeks.

Pork pie rumour

Shrewsbury have been linked with wolves striker Leigh Griffiths. The Shrews have very good connections with wolves even though there our local rivals. {Ed034's Note - you seem to be posting a lot of Shrewsbury linkings to players. Could you do them all on one post, rather than each of them separate please?

21 Apr 2013 09:41:40
sorry about that mate i'll do them all together rather than one on its own.

Isnt dean saunders quoted as saying he will have a role to play at wolves next season?

21 Apr 2013 14:33:54
were are the shrews getting the money to buy these players because it can't be from crowds because they are one of lowest home support in the league

You have your facts all wrong mate
Look at the tables for league 1 attendences and you will see shrewsbury are 11th
And we are set to have a big investment apparently

The owner of salop leisure puting 5million in to the club

These are some signings town will make

Zak Ansah - loan
Ofuri-twumasi - £350000
Marlon hardwood - free
Fabio roachemback - free
Martin Paterson - loan

All these according to meeting at greenhous meadoe

Hearing Rumors from around Reading that with Relegation looming they are set to lose Adam Le Fodre and Alex McCarthy both to Celtic who will spend £5million on the pair I really think this is terrible news as surely with McCarthys preformances recently he is worth £5million on his own. Celtic are also apparently sniffing around Alex Pearce

He's played like 3 good games and now he's worth 5 mil? Don't think so. Anyway Celtic have a better keeper in Forster

21 Apr 2013 14:59:36
if either of ALF, Pearcey or McCarthy leave it will be to the prem

3 good games? He had a great first half of the season and then goy injured. Has been good since coming back. McCarthy will stay. Pearce can go and alf will stay if guaranteed first team football if not he's gone

McCarthy ent even that good it was one game he cost us 2 goals against Norwich so I wouldn't mind getting some decent money for him, still a shame though as he is very young

Petr Cech let in 2 against Liverpool should Chelsea sell him? Stupid comment.

If Bournemouth achieve promotion to the championship Matt Tubbs will be loaned to Exeter City for the season.

Ryan Harley is also set to make a return to the Grecians this summer on a season long loan deal as he want to be reunited with Paul Tisdale again.

Both deals will see the majority of wages covered by both players parent clubs.

What do you mean if bournemouth achieve promotion, if you are in the know you will also know they won promotion yesterday

21 Apr 2013 11:58:29
charlie austin is contract runs this season and charlie's wife refuses to to go back up to burnley and owner will offer a lot of money!

Austin will go to afcb saw his girlfriend in town says she was unhappy in burnley

Austin will leave Burnley but for a far bigger club than Bournemouth

Tubbs will be sold for CASH, massive clear out coming at Bournemouth as plans to strengthen the club in Championship unfold. possibly Charlie Austin - he is a local lad and Bournemouth would have signed him 3/4 years ago but for a FA embargo on Bournemouth signings. plus he has a great relationship with the Bournemouth manager. watch this space.

Tubbs isn't leaving and the only player we signed already is wade Elliot will be on a free also there's been talks with burnley over Sam vokes for 500k and a defender form league 2

Charlie Austin to sign for Bournemouth get real, Bournemouth will have the smallest crowds and the smallest ground, three sided stadium? It's embarrassing that a club like AFCB are going to the championship, my money would be on them coming straight back down, you guys need to take a leaf out of Brighton's books, oh Charlie Austin has ambition and is Celtic bound.

Lets get the facts right here. Charlie Austin is from Poole. His whole family live around Bournemouth and Poole. He is a personal friend of Eddie Howe. He is not happy at Burnley since Eddie left. If he was going to a premiership club why didn't it happen in January? Its really down to the Russians putting their hands in their pockets and if Eddie can talk him into it.
Is it possible? As much as it was possible to bring Eddie Howe back when no one would have believed it would ever happen. I say watch is space!

He's got ambition so wants to move to the spl haha only has beens go there from England

I thought he was going to be loaned to us for next season as part of the deal that takes Caddis to you.

As a Swindon fan, firstly congratulations on promotion - been on a fine run and considering no team really wanted to win the league (and has bottled it at various times), it's well deserved.

Secondly, and I'm sorry, but you have no chance in getting Charlie Austin. Fine he's friendly with Howe, but this is a guy who considering Rhodes went to Blackburn for £8m is easily worth that money too. He didn't leave in January as he got injured with his problem shoulder, but has got 20+ goals in his first full season in the Championship. Fully expect him to go to the Premier League, so would look at more realistic targets.

Unfortunately I agree with above post. No matter how much austin wants to come back it just wouldn't be possible as he would have a massive price tag which even we couldn't afford due to the financial rules now in play. I think he is stuck at burnley as I can't see a premier league club going for him as don't think he's good enough and can't see another championship club spending that much.

Easy on the 3 sided stadium. 4th side will be built soon enough but the big problem is that we don't actually own the stadium due to the dark days. Otherwise we probably of built it already. For the record, what peeps fail to realise is that we're an ambitious club. Austin is definite possibility & should of been ours years ago. Consider your self very privileged Swindon & Burnley.

Cardiff plan to swoop in and sign two welsh players
Aaron Ramsey-arsenal
Williams-palace

Swoop all they want, Ramsey is now a regular starter for Arsenal and going nowhere

I have also read this, they would both be good singings but I think ramsey is unrealistic, williams is possible but with the monet man city are prpbably going to pay, it will be hard to get him as well

21 Apr 2013 02:56:03
Based on Stoke City staying in the premier league they are set to look at Nathan Redmond, John Brayford, Luke Murphy, Jed Wallace, Mark Beevers and Aaron Cresswell as Tony Pulis continues to slowly adapt and progress footballing style.

Most of those young players are not yet ready for the big step up.

Obv I would like to see these players come in especially redmond, brayford, wallace and beevers but I can't see all of them happening and I think stoke need more experienced players first

Redmond would be decent and Brayford, Redmond can put some decent balls in the boc and Brayford so we have a proper Right Back.

Amine Linganzi to re-join Preston North End on a 2 year contract he had a loan spell 2 years ago but was cut short by injury but did impress in is short time at the club

21 Apr 2013 16:39:17
cant see this Grayson will look to the prem or championship for players

I seemed to remember this short spell lasted about 45 minutes.

His short spell lasted about 45 minutes. due to a knee injury. On his debut, he would be a great freebie

21 Apr 2013 00:33:01
Accrington Stanley duo Romuald Boco and Amine Linganzi are set to leave the crown ground for league one side Walsall, scouts have been coming to watch Stanley games from Walsall for the past few weeks with ( both players are out of contract in the summer)

2 massive players for Stanley to lose with Boco netting 12 this season from the wing and Linganzi being the rock in midfielder Stanley desperately needed

Apparently it's Lee Molyneux that Oldham and Walsall have been watching. Can hit a cracking free kick and has scored 8 goals in last 10 games.

Both players are on there way to Chesterfield
