David Silva is not going to be joining Manchester United in January, or any other team for that matter. At least not until the summer, he has stated that he is prepared to stick out the season with Valencia.
But Manchester United are looking for a few players; a playmaker, a holding midfielder, a striker, a full–back and a centre half. So at least 5 new players will be arriving at Old Trafford in January regardless of outs.
For playmaker, Sir Alex is interested in bringing Luka Modric to The Red Devils in a deal that could be worth £28 million. A good deal.
As a holding midfielder Man Utd want either Daniele De Rossi of AS Roma or Jeremy Toulalan of Olympique Lyonnais. The prices being £26 million & £21 million respectively.
At full–back, there are a couple of options, Maicon and Sergio Ramos, but Inter and Real want to initiate a swap with each other as I stated in a previous post, so it will be difficult to agree a deal with either player.
To play centre half, Man Utd are interested in Neven Subotic of Borussia Dortmund. A deal of about £14 million is almost agreed between the clubs.
And finally, as a striker, Fergie wants to sign one of, Stevan Jovetic of Fiorentina for about £15 million, or due to the new rule involving homegrown players, Gabriel Agbonlahor of Aston Villa for about £19 million, or Jermain Defoe of Tottenham Hotspur for £22 million. These deals will happen, swear down.

News involving the managerial post at Rangers. Walter Smith has decided that he will definitely be retiring at the end of the season, he feels that this season will be one of the toughest and doesn't want to totally destroy his status as a cult hero at the Gers. But, even more shockingly, Ally McCoist will not be taking over as manager when Walter does call it quits. The new manager will be none other than Big Eck, Alex McLeish. He would definitely leave Birmingham for Rangers, and the chance to stand in the home dugout at Ibrox again. Watch the space.

fergie won't sign aguero, fabiano, villa or anybody else that plays up front for that matter...macheda and welbeck are still to come through the academy...if real madrid refuse ribery united will sign him, if not silva deal has been agreed in principle

david silva has signed for manchester united for 25 mil, the deal is expected to be announced in january but david silva will remain in valencia on loan until next summer. sir alex will make a 10 mil bid for neven subotic, the serbian centre back who is a good mate of nemanja vidic. rio ferdinand's back problem and the latest rumours surronding his future is unsettling the england international. sir alex will make a bid of 15 mil for hertha berlin's cm gojko kacar who is another serbian. michael carrick's future at old trafford is in doubt because of his latest slump in form. sir alex is also looking for an experienced keeper, manuel neuer will sign in january for 10 mil as he is eligible to play for united in the champions league also, he is young and talented.
Rafa benitez will be given 15mil plus what ever he makes in transfers this summer so leaving liverpool in the summer will be mascherano for 30mil plus bojan also leaving will be dossena to fiorentina for 4mil this will leave him with around 60mil to spend so he will bring in:

His main choices for a CF are Van Persie and Defoe (he will not sign Aguero, Athletico are to Stubborn). His A.M will be either David Silva (Most Likely), Ashley Young or Luka Modric. The Centre back story is new to me, so i don't have a foavourite for that one.
