York City look to bolster there defensive options with Nathan pond who's on loan from fleetwood

David Grof is rumoured to be unhappy at walsall with loan keepers taking his place and could hand in a transfer request!

Rubbish. If he hands in a transfer request he will at best either drop to conference level or will play second fiddle to someone else, he is just in a bad run of form at the moment.

20 Nov 2012 18:12:46
SPL club St. Mirren are set to sign Dom Dwyer from MLS side Sporting Kansas on a 3 month loan.

Arenal look to sign Ruddy in January

Brighton in talks with Bobby Z about potential deal at the end of the 2012 season.

Hull set to raid Cassidy from Div 1 Tranmer

Norwich to sign Harry Kane at the end of the season {Ed003's Note - Hull might want to talk to Wolves regarding Cassidy considering he is there player only on loan at Tranmere.}

Wolves would never sell him to hull. We want him back january cos se have no goalscorers at the mOment

Arsenal don't have enough money to take Ruddy 20m minimum on his current form and Kane might even be sent back why would we sign him {Ed003's Note - good lord how much?? }

I can't say why not 20m because we don't want or need to sell him and he is on a long term contract

Not sure about this Harry Kane rumour. Have we seen enough of him to make this kind of decision following his injury? Surely this is a call that we should be making after we have more information on the player i.e. how does he contend with Prem defences and what sort of numbers does he has at this level.

Ruddy has stated he and his family are settled in Norfolk. However maybe the attraction of knock-out champions league football could tempt me away

Ruddy was at Everton for a long time where he was loaned out a stupid amount of times, he played very few games in a settled side and because of this did not develop as much as he could have. He is now playing week in, week out for a mid table premier league team... His family is settled, he has young children, he has a long term contract and he is in the England squad.

Why would he ruin all this to go and play 5-6 games for Arsenal before being dropped for the returning Scezsney? For once i think i see a sensible footballer whose passion is for playing and what HE can achieve, not sitting on the bench counting the extra money for not playing.

OFFICIAL:Barnsley have signed emile sinclair from Peterborough on loan until Jan

Middlesbough set to follow the loan signing of Stewart Downing, with the £5.5m (plus add ons) capture of Charlie Austin in January. Steve Gibson is prepared to back manager Tony Mowbray in the transfer market if the club are still sitting near the top of the league. To finance the deals, Marvin Emnes will be sold and part of the fee recieved from the Joe Bennett deal will be used. Emnes is expected to command a fee in the region of £4m. Norwich, Wigan and Swansea are believed to be interested.

5.5m sounds a bit cheap!

Charlie Austin.......NO CHANCE

I've heard the fee for Austin is 6.5m plus a 20% sell on fee. There's also additional payments for goals scored, appearances and any future international appearances. Source=local news reporter.

Austin is linked to several prem clubs, won't be going to boro

Austin will command a higher fee than that, as will emnes. plus, tony loves emnes!

I really hope this is true. He is such a talented player

Austin looks like a good replacement for Holt i.e. has two feet, an ariel threat and a good shots to goals ratio, however he isn't speedy (like Holt) and he is likely to be expensive plus he is untested at Prem level or at international level. We didn't sign Jay Rodriguez last year who has a similar profile. I like Austin though and he deserves to get a chance in the prem but not at 6.5m. For that sort of money we could probably sign Hooper, Sigthorsson, Bacca or Chamakh all of whom are proven at a higher level. I can see city taking a more risky type of profile for a 3rd or 4th striker who is a youngster but they wont want to pay more than 3m for him. However for someone who expects to be playing every week which on imagines Austin does City will probably want more certainty that they will get return on their investment.

Burnley dont have to sell Austin after offloading J-Rod in the summer (for 7m?). At this point Austin is getting virtually all Burnley's goals so any sale would be a dangerous move for them.

Just because it doesn't make any sense does not mean it wont happen but, it looks doubtful to me.

Burton Albion strikers Calvin Zola and matt Paterson are being monitored with possible summer moves to Coventry City and Notts County respectively.

Would be disasterous for Burton, both strikers are showing good form and along with Billy Kee are playing well and scoring goals. Please stay lads, Up the Brewers!

Calvin would be a massive loss as last night showed without him in the side. not sure about paterson though, certainly not league one standard. we've got to keep billy unless someone tables a big bid.

Think all three could play at a higher level, all bring a different style to Albion all look like they can bag and create goals - apart from last night though lol.

Wheres the zola rumours come from to coventry?

Zola to Coventry has been around for a while. Thought AFCB were interested in Paterson and a return to Leiceter City for Billy kee if he keeps banging in goals like he scored last Saturday. Thing is Albion have good strikers - if they are serious about making a promotion push they need to keep them all until at least the end of the season.

Agreed, to consider letting Zola, Kee or Paterson go in January would be suicide for any promotion/play off chance.

I would be very pleased with zola signing for coventry iff we can sign him and mcgoldrick i think we would have a amazing strikeforce i just wanna know if they are something i can believe the rumour about zola and hope we sing goldie 2

I've not missed a brewers game all season and i just cant see anything special in paterson. hes ok for us but has no chance any higher

Zola to CC would be an excellent move for the big man. Kee will not return to Leicester or anywhere else he has signed a new 3 year contract! Paterson is an intelligent striker who has scored some very important goals for the Brewers so disagree with above as the lad as also scored in the CCC, L1, L2, the Conf and in Scotland!

But im afraid hes showing nothing like that sort of form now!

He's showing better form than Billy Kee who has been rubbish all season until his game against Daggers last week. I have seen every Burton game this season and Paterson is one of our better players. Kee will never go back to Leicester, but Zola to Coventry could be spot on.

Your having a laugh, billy still isnt 100% fit and to think paterson is one of our better players!

Kee is good, but not having a good season. Zola is good and is having a good season. Patterson is good and needs more starts. They are all good players, why are we even considering letting them go?

20 Nov 2012 15:54:01
Titi is back at arsenal to keep in shape expect a deal similar to last year to be in place to boost arsenal attack its classic wenger look at how it pulled the team togather last year. Wenger wont splash the cash in jan and dont forget titi is most likly the man to persuade walcott to stay. Arsenals biggest signing will be Henry and theo resigning

20 Nov 2012 15:46:36
Chris Houghton is set to make an audacious £1m bid to reel in Barnsley's talented goalscorer Craig Davies in the January transfer window. Davies, 26, has been a prolific goalscorer for the majority of his career, and is out of contract in the summer. Houghton sees the 6'2 Welsh international as a long term replacement for the aging Grant Holt.

20 Nov 2012 15:15:50
Swansea hoping to sign PSV midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum in January for 5m!

Now that is what I would call a top signing if swans can pull it off! Such a talented player!

20 Nov 2012 14:46:22
Bury are looking likely to sign Ryan Lowe on loan until January at the news that Dominic Poleon has been recalled by Leeds United.

Very likely - I was speaking to a friend of Lowe's agent last week

20 Nov 2012 14:34:24
Bristol Rovers Mark Mcghee has tonight and saturday to save his job. 2 defeats will mean the sack for Mcghee, tough games away at Vale then home to Bradford on saturday will prob see the end of mcghees reign at the memorial stadium

20 Nov 2012 14:30:57
Arsenal and Aston Villa are both wanting John Ruddy and Anthony Pilkington in January.

They may want them but they wont get them .must be a joke from your cheap christmas cracker

We know ruddy will go to arsenal , but pilkington not good enough, maybe villa tho

20 Nov 2012 20:03:29
villa will get neither and cant afford them anyway.

Ruddy's not going to Arsenal unless they splash out big time on him and Pilkington isn't going anywhere especially not Villa

Why would ruddy go to arsenal when the england goalkeeper coach is at norwich who can help him develop into a far better keeper than arsenal could do for him

Villa can't afford him? Don't make me laugh! They are as rich!

Ruddy 8 million In January

20 Nov 2012 14:29:57
Arsenal looking at Liam Fontaine to will take him in Jan for a fee in the region of 6M.

Liam Fontaine 6 million city accepted 2,5 from Southampton last year hmmm i think someone lying but ill say you can have for that from all bristol city fans

21 Nov 2012 09:59:27
You can have him he's terrible reliable for letting more goals between the city posts that Heaton or Gerken

21 Nov 2012 11:18:19
Arsenal like players that can pass, Fontaine certainly cant, he's not worth half a million let alone 6!

20 Nov 2012 14:22:21
Stockport County manager Jim Gannon is hoping to secure the services of a right back before the loan window closes this week.

20 Nov 2012 21:33:22

20 Nov 2012 14:09:09
Hearing Man City are strongly interested in Jack Butland. The plan is to sign him on a long term contract, and loan him back to Birmingham for 3 seasons.

20 nov 2012 13:51:15
mark gower (swansea) so sign on loan for barnsley fc by friday (welsh press)

20 Nov 2012 12:18:31
Sheffield Wednesday are looking to sign out of favour West Ham striker Freddie Piquone. They are looking to boost their misfiring forward line that has seen them plummet to 4th bottom of the Championship

Won't get much better with him up front! Couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat!

A massive signing.

MM would be better offering a decent price for ALF from Reading and signing a midfield general!!

20 Nov 2012 12:18:14
Southampton looking at a loan deal for Brad Friedel.

Defenately not he is 42 now !

Already have 3 keepers. Don't be silly!

Could see us signing a young keeper permanently like Kasper Schmeichel if we have still got a problem with Boruc. But I don't see Tottenham letting him out now for one thing.

20 Nov 2012 11:55:08
Swans to sign David beckham when he leave la galaxy in 2 weeks time

Heard it here first

There's only 1 team in south Wales he will sign for and its not swansea

Total n utter rubbishe!!

Newport county

He wont sign for swansea or cardiff ,if he returns to prem it will be utd only

Beckham is signing for Melbourne.

20 Nov 2012 11:53:27
Nottingham forest Interested in Spurs Keeper Heurelho Gomes. Forest will launch a bid in January if Lee camp doesn't sign a new deal.

22 Year-old Winger Stephen Mclaughlin has joined forest for a weeks trial with a view to buy in January.

Steve Morrison has also been linked with forest but i don't know much about this deal. It could be a replacement for Dex if he doesn't sign a new deal.

20 Nov 2012 11:33:39
David Beckham is on his way to Leyton Orient after buy the club from Mr Hearn

Total n utter rubbishe!!

If he was to buy at english club it would be preston north end were he spent time on loan and still watchs them wen he can

HA HA HA HA HA! You are HILARIOUS (not)!

Dont dismiss this as rubbish just yet.
There is at present some speculation that Beckham would be very interested in buying Leyton Orient or London Orient, If and only if, Barry Hearn is successful in his move to the OS. The '' inside '' rumour is that Beckham could be Orient Bound.

He was born and bred in Leytonstone, this rumour has been going on for about 3 years now, and it could happen, i know it sounds ridiculas but it could happen

20 Nov 2012 11:10:42
The Stewart downing loan move to Middlesbrough seems to be a reality: announced on skysports news.

Austin to the boro emnes out mogga is getting full backing from gibbo i so hope it is all true

We can only hope mate, but I doubt it about the Austin rumour, I hope we get downing by the Thursday deadline and not January.

Downing will cum its been in paper so for me its almost set in stone mate austin could flop in prem look at his goals nwt flash just a beast in the box the fans are mad if the think austin is a 7mill player big risk moyes might take a chance on him tho.cum to the boro and marv off ya pop.

20 Nov 2012 11:04:24
Sheffield Wednesday are preparing a £2.4 million bid for Celtic striker Anthony Stokes in the January Transfer Window.

If it is true then Celtic should sell.

Hmmm be on the bench in champions league or try and score for a championship team that are struggling to get goals, have pressure put on your shoulders then get sold if you do terrible.

Know what I would choose.

Wtf! We haven't got that money!

With what money there skint!!!

We,re not skint (swfc). milan mandaric is our owner. it,s our impoverished neighbours who are skint

Hes not worth 240k!

20 Nov 2012 10:25:28
Millwall and Tim Cahill are in talks about a possible 3 month loan deal from New York Red Bulls.

Everton bound

Would be nice to see Cahill down at the den again.

I'd love that as a wall fan but let's face it no way would we be able to pay his wages. Would rather see us get woods and beevers and use the cash there for bodies that have it in them. Lived tin Cahill but he done us good moved in and won't be back. Perm ship bound. Everton.

It would be a 'BIG' boost for the 'WALL' to get tim back, but to be realistic i just cant ever see it happening im afraid! 2 Expensive!

I thought wall were doing alright without him.

I'm a New York Red Bulls fan and this is looking very possible that this deal will happen. Everyone is saying Everton don't want him and he just wants to play soccer so he will join Millwall.

Trotter to Leeds in january

Trotter to Leeds lol dream planet. We have more chance of Cahill than him going there

Money talks , and with Leeds being a much bigger club than millwall, and considerably richer, we could quite easily get trotter, but i think we will aim for more quality than him in january {Ed025's Note - maybe boycie, or trigger ;)

Leeds have no money I'm afraid....the bloke who wants to buy you is skint, our owner just coughed up anther 8.5 million, we are going places see you on the way back down with 40 million in the bank

Leeds fan u need 2 invest heavily only becchio would get in our squad from ur team and hed struggle 4 a starting spot

Ha ha nice one ed to leeds fan past six seven years u been same division as millwall ur not a big club any more u live in the past mate

Leeds are considerably richer than yow, 8.5 mill is loose change to our backer, millwall small club forever, lol

20 Nov 2012 09:54:05
Crawley after Steve De Ridder on loan
from Southampton

Good deal for both

De Ridder to good for league 1, he'd be going to the championship if he went out on loan

Why can't we sell him? Or give him on a free? Then he's out of our team and happy with a fixed first team slot.

20 Nov 2012 00:21:07
Barnsley are close to signing a midfielder and a forward but are not Brighton pair Ryan Harley and Will Hoskins.
Both players are wanted by Keith Hill but are second resort to the players the Barnsley boss is close to bagging.
The midfielder wanted by Hill is Swansea player Mark Gower. The 34 year old hasn't had a look in since City have been in the Premier League and could sign on loan before Wednesday evening with a view to a full time 18 month contract in the New Year.
The much needed forward Hill has been chasing is Sheffield United hitman Chris Porter. Hill had a scout at Bramall Lane watching Porter score on Saturday against Stevenage and an undisclosed offer for a January move has already been agreed to secure after his loan deal.
Also, Barnsley have made contact over an unkwown Uruguayan football over a potential move from giants Nacional.

Swans should buy marin from CHelsea by 5m this January. Marin is amazing but he doesnt get a chance at chelsea!

Good, you're more than welcome to Porter. We don't need him. DW regrets extending his contract, but we had no strikers at the time and we've managed to bring in better strikers since.

Barnsley to sign Sinclair from Peterborough

Emile Sinclair signs on loan till 18jan from Peterborough

Porter is by far the best striker at utd

Kitson, Miller, Blackman, Cresswell and Cofie are all better than Porter as they can score goals. Porter can only convert the odd cross with a header once a blue moon. Whenever he is one on one with the keeper in the penalty box, he always shoots wide. This is why he has a very bad goals to game ratio with us.

He's a target man! Not a goal scorer

19 Nov 2012 20:59:26
Chairman of Cheltenham Paul Baker is looking at selling the club for a nominal fee to a local millionaire who wants to invest his money slowly over the next 5 years to take the club to the championship, two new stands and a well-known manager on a large contract, possibly Steve Cotterill back.

19 Nov 2012 23:24:42
Northern paper confirms talks between Liverpool fc and Middlesbrough over the loan signing of Stewart downing and a deal could be done before Thursday loan deadline

Downing is said to be very keen on the move back to the boro

Prob the most overrated and poor player going

Fantastic player, signing of the season if Middlesbrough get him, could be the difference between promotion or not

Fantastic player ahahha. Have you seen him play the last two seasons, he is about as good as an average championship player.

If downing signs for boro he would be the best player in the championship FACT just not a liverpool player was player of the season the 2 years he was at villa

19 Nov 2012 22:01:20
Local Sussex paper the reports today that Barnsley are interested in Brighton's Harley and Hoskins. The report thinks it unlikely that Hoskins would be loaned out since he is currently part of Brighton's match day squad.

Hoskins won't be going anywhere because he is part of poyet's plans 4 this season.
