Most of the Liverpool rumours on here are exactly that – rumours. There is no basis for them. Take the below as 'Gospel' because it is.
The REAL story is as follows:
1. The DIC ownership saga will not be sorted out until sometime AFTER the end of May. Company Law dictates that in an equal partnership, when one partner (Gillette) wants to sell, the other partner (Hicks) has first option for 90 days. DIC cannot even start proper negotiations until the 91st day and even then only if Hicks fails to raise the necessary dosh. He is/has been scouring the USA for a new partner, approaching – believe it or not – even the Bush clan. There is a little bit of dispute as to when exactly the 90 day rule expires, but all parties agree that it is certainly no later than May 29 so do not expect any movements by any party before then.
2. Transfers In. There are not going to be huge lists of players coming in as some (moronic) people put on here. There will be one 'class' signing, two squad signings, a handful of young prospects and promotions. The promotions are the usual 'suspects' – Insua, Nemeth, Darby and Anderson (recalled from loan). And that is it. Degen, who is one of the potential squad signings, is still very much up in the air as his agent is playing LFC off against a German club.
3. Transfers Out. There is no definitive list of who is definitely going with two exceptions – Kewell, he is definitely out, and one other who will surprise the fans – possibly Agger?. Of the rest, Rafa will listen to offers for anyone who is not part of the spine of the team. The only other Rafa–Rule is that he is keeping one of Crouch and Kuyt, the other is going.
4. Next season expect a far more tactically astute Liverpool. Expect line–ups and formations to vary depending on opposition and even during the game itself. Variations that will be common are 3–5–2, 4–5–1, 4–3–3, 3–4–3, 5–4–1. Expect far more possesion–type and attacking and a lot less of the high and long ball. Wing–back type idealogy will be prominant. Keep it down, play it short, pass it to the man in the red shirt will be the order of the day.
The aim of the game next season is a top 2 place and a minimum of a semi–final. The lads will only be given a short break this Summer and Rafa wants the new signings completed by the end of June, to start training by July. Physical fitness, particularly stamina, endurance and strength will be the order of the day pre–season.
Aggression and competitive spirit are also high on the agenda. Rafa was not impressed with the attitude of some of the players – including senior ones on occasion – during some of the games. He wants the players to go out on the pitch and die for the club if necessary. Those that cannot, do not or will not have been given until Xmas to lift their game or face the door.
Sheff United are desperate to get themselves back into the Premier League, as the parachute payments run out in 12 months time. This is why Kevin McCabe will give Kevin Blackwell such backing in the tranfer market.
Coming in will be:
Rob Earnshaw
Patrick Kisnorbo
Peter Halmosi
Kriztian Timar
Dean Brill
Brian Howard
David Cotterill
Lee Martin
A big boost is also the news that Michael Tonge and James Beattie are happy at Bramall Lane and will turn down any offers, even from Premier League clubs that are interested.
Rangers Rumours
Rangers very close to agreeing deals for Kenny Miller and David Healy. Davis will stay and will be joined in midfield by stuttgart powerhouse Thomas Hitzlsperger.

Big things happening at Villa park this Summer. Unfortunately gareth barry will be leaving in a part money part exchange bid. He will go for £10 million + Crouch and Pennant. one major signing is thiery Henry coming in from FC Barcelona for £11 million.

Pennant (exchange)
Henry (£11 million)
Sidwell (£6 million)
Hoyte (£4 million)
Sagnol (£4 million)
Schwienstager (£7 million)

Carson (£6 million)
Cuzan (£3 million)
Wayne Hennesey (£3 million)
Curtis Davies (£9 million) Done Deal
Zolton Gera (free)
David Bentley (£12 million)

Villa outs:
Barry (£10 million + Crouch + Pennant)
Harewood (£3 million)
Sorenson (free) gone
Berger (free) gone
Mellberg (free) gone
Maloney (£2 million)
Luke Moore (£3 million) gone
With these big transfers Villa are looking to finish third orfourth next season securing champions League football

ben arfa – Arsenal
Nasri – Arsenal
ronaldiniho – Manchester City
Gudjohnson – Portsmouth
thierry Henry – Arsenal

Stoke to sign Pique on season loan with a option to buy.
Kewell and Campo to sign for Getafe
Pires to sign for Lyon
Hull to sign Mario Yepes and Bernardo Romeo
Stelios Giannakopoulos returns to Greece and signs for AEK Athens
Keegan has made an enquiry to Man United about the availability of Fletcher
Doyle to sign for Sunderland £6 million + Rade Prica.
Bolton to resign Ben Haim for £4 million
Man United are going to splash the cash on a World Class Striker after European championship
Liverpool: Rafa wants to bring Spainish Team outcast Joaquin to Anfield
Beckham has urged LA Galaxy to sign former teammate Raul
Celtic hoping to sign Luke Moore from Aston Villa
Damien Duff definitely leaving Newcastle for either old club Blackburn or to join Portsmouth.
His home in Newcastle is already up for sale.
Lee Carsley will be returning to the Midlands, to be closer to his family; but not with Birmingham or West Bromwich. His family live in the East Midlands, not the West Midlands. He will return to his first club, Derby County, on a two year contract.
THERE IS SOME RIDICULOUS STUFF ON HERE. Allow me to set the record straight. Can all these Liverpool fans stop speculating about Sergio Aguero, he is not leaving Athletico – who DID qualofy for the Champions League contrary to what one fan wrote. Rafa has next no no money to spend this Summer and will only sign players with money he makes from transfers ie Crouch who will be joining Portsmouth for £10 million, no more. Barry will sign for Liverpool as will Heinze of Real Madrid.
CHELSEA are not signing any more defenders. Arshavin has been linked but a lot depends on the new manager. Grant may not be in charge even if he wins the Champions League.
MANCHESTER UNITED would like to sign R Santa Cruz but Mark Hughes will resist any approach. Luis Fabiano is not happening as he does not want to leave Spain.
ARSENAL will not be signing Nasri. Rumours about Arsenal are simply to drive up his price a bit – he will be signing for FC Barcelona as the successor to Deco. Wenger has hinted at buying a Premier League player, but he will not be English.

To the lad who stated that Michael Owen will leave Newcastle and go to Everton. I am not 100 percent convinced that he will stay but I am 100 percent convinced that he will not leave to go to Everton for 65k less that he is getting at the minute; he's stalling on an £85k a week contract so he;s definitely not going to sign for half of that.
Newcastle have today been in touch with the Agent of Maura Zarate – the lad has bags of potential but I am sure that whoever gets him will be forced to pay way over his current value – could be well worth it though.
Geordieboy
Rafael Gaucho who has recently been awarded player of the year in Lithuania will be joining Hearts from FC Kaunas in time for next season. The free scoring midfielder was promised the chance of a move when he signed for Kaunas and his goals this season have earnt him the chance of a move to Scotland. Romanov sees him as an ideal replacement for Paul Hartley as a free scoring midfielder.
Other names on the Romanov radar are Mark Kerr on a free, Russell Anderson for a nominal fee, Jay McEveley as Derby try to reduce the wage budget and Garry O'Connor on a season long loan.
The coaching side is also being shaken up with Mark McGhee and Scott Leitch set to make up the new management team. Frail is going to Celtic as reserve coach as he does not fancy stepping down at Hearts. McGhee is looking to McCormack as a possible signing but the youngster is not keen about a move due to the recent bad press surrounding the club.
To the fool who said "if Rafa wants to progress the matter the deal is Crouch + Pennant + £15 million making the value £25 mill"?
Are you having a laugh?
1. Barry are not worth £25 million, he is not even worth £15 million. The only reason the fee is inflated is because he is English.
2. Crouch is worth at least £9 million
3. Pennant is worth at least £5 million
4. To value them both at £10 million is pathetic, expecially if Barry is "worth" £25 million.
MON is trying to price Liverpool out of a move, Liverpool will not get into a bidding war and if they cannot secure Barry for £15 million or less, they will sign Stuart Downing for £12 million.
Rafa will also try and persuade a couple of AC Milan players to Anfield as the Italian club failed to get into next years Champions League. Expect bids for, Pirlo and Pato.

Arsenal target METZ player Miralem Pjanic has decided to sign four LYON and will noot be moving to Afc. Expect Mark Randall to replace Song as he will probaly be going out on loan.

Man United Rumour
Despite the fact Klass Jan Huntelaar mentioned that he still might remain at Ajax for another year due to the appointment of Denis Bergkamp and Marco Van Basten at Ajax however, Ajax did not qualify for the Champions League this year because they were beaten by Twente so he may still consider a move to the Premiership after all perhaps the lure of Champions League football may be too tempting to turn down

Burnley Latest
Burnley FC gaffer Owen Coyle has got his transfer targets in sight. The targets on the list that Burnley will sign are:
Derek Riordan – Celtic – £800 k
Martin Paterson – Scunthorpe – £500 k
Kaspars Gorkks – Blackpool – £250 k
Marcelo Carrusca – Galatasary – £1.3 million
Marcel Seip – Plymouth – £600 k
and a left back after the Jon Harley departure.
The only player who maybe leaving the club is Kyle Lafferty, the highly rated youngster is wanted by both Glasgow giants Celtic and Rangers and should they meet the £4 million asking price, Kyle could well be on his way to full fill the dream of Champions League Football.

Basically, Rafa has given Harry Kewell, Riise, Pennant, Voronin and Itandje the boot. There are no signs of Benayoun and Alonso leaving. Both are key members of the squad. In will be coming, Sergio Garcia of Zaragoza, Gareth Barry is a 50–50, with Aston Villa desperate for him not to leave. At left back, Gabriel Heinze will come as he does not get enough games with Real Madrid. If you do not believe me, my Uncle works for David Schennant, who is a member of the backroom staff at Liverpool. YNWA.
Sunderland will try to sign John O'Shea.
Stoke are to sign Zoran Tošić from FK Partizan for £1.7 mill

Liverpool look set to strenghthen their squad this Summer with a wave of intersting signings although do not expect any big moves like Torres as despite the takeover Liverpool do not have he money.
Do not believe the hype about;
Aguero (not a chance)
Huntelaar (no way)
Henry (hahah)
Players you can expect in a red shirt next year;
Barry, Degen, Dossena (class), possibly Krankjaer, and either Rodriguez or Mancini, although my moneys on Mancini as he's the cheaper option. Any other rumours about large transfers is deluded, the yanks will not spend especially not considering the credit crunch and the large debts they owe after last Summers trasnfers.
Expect to see the back of Crouch, Riise, Pennant, leto, Voronin.

FC Barcelona will make a double raid on Arsenal for Van Persie and Alexander Hleb. In exchange they will give Samuel Eto'o and Deco as Arsene Wenger looks to add some experience in his side.

Some people need a good slap. FIRST to the person who said Atletico Madrid did not qualify for Europe. get a grip. they did as they finishedfourth. SECONDLY. there is no chance Adriano will go to fenerbace. he is getting back to his best after a successful loan to sao Paulo and has recently been re–called to the Brazil squad so inter will not let him go.
ANYWAY to some rumours. due to Zaragoza being relegated. I would not be suprised if aimar and possibly Milito join Liverpool. well I hope so. expect Liverpool to be busy this Summer with quite a few players shipped out which needs to be done and hopefully some big names brought in. aslong as barry does not come ill be happy as he is over rated and is not anywhere near as good as Gerrard masch or Alonso and I would rather play Lucas ahead of him.
ALSO Ajax have failed to qualify for champs league so there is most likely to be a scramble for Huntelaar and it would be a gamble if he's brought to England.
