Bournemouth want to sign proven Championship players if they achieve promotion. They want to sign Dan Seabourne permanently. They are interested in Bristol City's Steven Davies should they go down. Eddie Howe will make a move for former AFCB player Marvin Bartley. He is after another centre back as his targets include Liam Fontaine, Aaron Martin and Dan Burn who is on loan at Yeovil. He would like to sign a target man and he is interested in Sam Vokes.

I wouldent say any of these players are proven in the championship I do think we are in need of a target man we lack that recently.

With unhappiness brewing in the squad and no guarntees of making the playoffs let alone getting promoted. I can't see any sense in spreading rumours about potential buys for next season, we need to off load players first.

Unhappiness brewing in the squad eh? what an absolute pile

I wouldn't worrying about looking at championship players you are not going up

They should change this to "Swindon rumours" haha. I work in Swindon and all they talk about is Bournemouth and their money and what they can put in here to wind you up. Embarrassing

Crickey I don't know where you work because all my work mates just talk about football in general not bournemouth. You must have a complex mate

Lunchtime in Swindon "lets discuss Bournemouths money" let us go will you we don't care about you

Ironically the swindon fan claiming swindon fans "just talk football" has commented and proved a swindon fan posted this thus proving they read and comment on our forum in their lunch breaks lol.

22 Mar 2013 19:53:07
I'm Derby fan but live in Swindon (when not on tour with Navy) but majority of town talks football probebly talk about bornemouth because they have Ritchie swindon don't so should be "Matt Ritchie Fans" not Swindon Town Fans talk about Bornemouth on lunch breaks ;) COME ON YOU RAMS!

Of course you are

A host of clubs such as cardiff and middlesbrough are monitoring David lopez's contract situation at brighton and could make a move in the summer

He will stay at brighton

Cardiff and boro haven't got any Spanish players

Would love Lopez at the boro

Is he out of contract because if he isn't he will stay at the Amex 100%

Out of contract

He's out of contract in the summer but poyet no dobt will resign him if we don't get promoted not sure if we do thought don't think he's good enough?! : (

Not good enough for either if they go up

Boro are hardly going up

Jack Hunt of Huddersfield to sign for West Brom. Nathan Thompson will join Huddersfield from Swindon as replacement.

Keep dreaming, Thompson is going nowhere.

Neither is Hunty

Hope they know Jack isn't a full back, gets beat more often than not. But has pace and could do a job elsewhere, but just where?. jury still out.

Would be a good signing but no way is hunt of to west brom.

We don't want hunt he ain't good enough to lace gareth mcauley boots

Sell Hunt while interest is high. He is good going forward but defensively very poor, just look how he did against McManaman a average standard PL player. Woods at RB (most improved player this season) & Dixon at LB. Simples!

Southend United boss Paul Sturrock is set to be replaced by Karl Duguid at the end of the season as player manager with Sean Thornton taking an assistant role.

20 Mar 2013 20:41:58
Mathias Pogba's fantastic goalscoring form recently has attracted the attention of a number of clubs higher up in the football league pyramid. He may secure a summer transfer to a Championship club has he has a proven goalscoring record in League 1 and is easily capable of making the step up.

Proven? One good season does not make him a proven striker at that level. if he did it regurlarly then maybe the word "proven" could be used.

21 Mar 2013 21:33:41
Why don't you shut up. I bet you have never seen him play before and for your information he has scored 16 goals in his first season in the football league. In my opinion and in most people's books that is pretty amazing. This first season shows he has the capability and potential to be fantastic. So in the future think before you speak.

20 Mar 2013 20:23:10
Ipswich Town set to move for ex Norwich defender Richard Brindley on a free transfer in the summer. Town scout ran the rule over Brindley last night at Torquay, following stand out performances since signing for Chesterfield in League 2

This is total fabrication. PLEASE get your facts correct before posting. thank you

20 Mar 2013 19:39:22
Oldham will sign former Yeovil striker Jonathan obika on a months loan

Don;t think so he's already on loan till the end of the season to Charlton.

Anymore silly rumours.

Dont think so, he's on loan to charlton till the end of the season.

How did jon obika get to play at Charlton he is terrible {Ed034's Note - think you've answered your own question by saying charlton

20 Mar 2013 19:31:09
Bolton are interested in signing James Vaughan from Norwich in the summer. Freedman was impressed by him when on loan at Palace, but failed to sign him permanently.

20 Mar 2013 18:49:12

Afc bournemouth are looking to add to the signing of swindon towns striker miles storey with the signing of utility defender Zeki fryers from Tottenham hotspurs

Storey is out for the season

You can't add to a signing that hasn't been made Storey is going nowhere.

Storey signed for bournemouth, I think your dreaming & we have no intensions of selling our youngsters

Just like you had no intention of selling Ritchie to us.

Fryers only joined in January. So its unlikely they will sell him already!

21 Mar 2013 10:30:09
whre do these get the jackanory stories from, I think you need to be concerned about the big fall out with your chairman and russian sugar daddy. Storey will stay at Swindon as he will improve and progress under KM and that won't happen at the mighty Bournemouth.

Storey has a hamstring injury and may not play again this season, sign him? he won't pass a medical at the moment

Ritchie has been a massive disappointment for Bournemouth and has now been relegated to the bench so can't see us signing another Swindon lad

Ritchie hasn't been a disappointment. He's played most matches since being here and has only been on the bench because he got a gash to the head and Daniels was back. He'll start on saturday on the prefered wing

Ritchie hasn't been a disappointment, at all! He's ha dot play LB to cover for the injured Daniels but even then he's class! He only got dropped to the bench because he had a head injury and it was Daniels first game back

He's average at best

As a Bournemouth fan, must say that our boy ritchie has been a massive success since we bought him. he has played no. gh on every game out of position, rstored today to his favourite spot he scored! he was not dropped and never will be ( pure class player ), he had a nasty head injury so was being protected

Ritchie is class and has been class for us. He loves the club and gives 100% every week

Nick Barmby WILL be unveiled as Rotherham United Manager For the 13/14 season Steve Evans and Paul Raynor will leave at the end of the season to take charge of Torquay United. Steve Wigley & Stuart Watkiss will be Barmbys assistants. Rob

Nicky Barmby lives less than 1 hours drive away from New York Stadium

Evans won't go to torquay they hav'nt got any money for them to waste

21 Mar 2013 17:20:37
No chance of getting Wigley as asst

Bull. evans an raynor have history at torquay. the latter having attacked our oap groundsman. any club that take them on must be mad or corrupt

20 Mar 2013 18:44:24
Fulham summer transfers
In: chantome, Okore, Enoh (loan made perm), Reither ( loan made perm). Emmanuelson ( loan extended), Fer, trotter & Austin
Outs: Davies, Rodellega, peniket

Odemwingie in.

Okore? keep dreaming mate

Look believable even if Okore is optimistic and addresses areas we need covered just need to know who will be renewing their contracts first as lots are up this year.

Gus Poyet appointed reading manager

Poyet is in Barbados taking a break. Don't believe everything you hear on tv. My favourite is Adkins

20 Mar 2013 16:19:10
Brighton manager gus poyet has been given permission to speak to reading according to tv and is the most likely for the job - however they also said that michel Owen was most likely to come to brighton as well

20 Mar 2013 16:44:05
Leeds looking into the signature of James Vaughn from Norwich after he returns from his loan spell at Huddersfield at the end of the season.

Barry

He said he wants to stay at town, warnocks going to leave so why would they say that they want a player when a new manager is going to come in

Total rubbish, leeds fan wanting what he can't have because town will sign him

They can't afford him they, ll still be for sale in the summer! Again!

Trust me, Warnock is not looking at players for next season as he won't be there! Owners want out & won't be spending £1m+ on any player, never mind one with a history or serious injuries. Admit it, you made this up because he tore a new hole in the Leeds defence on Saturday, didn't you!?

Norwich to sign Sam Byram because Leeds are their feeder club! :)

Leeds United are to reduce the capacity of Elland road even further to make way for half time camel rides to make the owners feel more at home. They are also looking to recoup some of their money by changing the name to The Big Yellow Skip Stadium. Fun times ahead for the 'Peacocks!'

You can only wish, I would be more concerned about who your next owners and manager are likely to be before trying to nick our players.

Are leeds not up for sale again?! All this talk of planning for the prem and there running off already! Obviously seen what a mess your accounts are! Leeds will sell all there best players in the summer and will live off free signings like Anton robinsons! Good luck {Ed039's Note - GFH have issued a statement saying they are not looking to sell the club, but are looking for an investment in their stake)

Why did GFH take them over if they don't have the money to invest in the club? The FA need to clamp down on these skint foreigners 'buying' our football clubs then just asset strip them & run with a profit & leave the clubs with substantial debt! FA overhaul is badly needed!

So long as they wait till leeds are out of existence I don't mind.

Ed039 do you believe them? Probably backtracked to sell season tickets and keep sponsors onside. {Ed039's Note - I dont know what to believe to be honest, but it is not good that a company just invested and now want someone else to invest as well, doesnt bode well, similar to Rangers to be honest)

LUFC propaganda

Poyet to hold talks with Reading

20 Mar 2013 15:17:44
Adam Le Fondre is a summer target for West Brom, Stoke and Sunderland should Reading get relegated. The former Rotherham man would command a fee of £2-3 million!

Set for a second successive relegation battle on his CV if he goes to any of those clubs.

2-3 million?! you wish! If anyone is going to get him in the summer, its going to be over 5 million and its not going to be to a club that might go down!

How are west brom in a relegation battle?? More league European battle!

No way clarke doesn't know him from one of his previos clubs, torres will be going cheap after chelsea disaster let's get him/

Nice earner for RUFC

None of these teams will be in a relegation battle next season.

How are West Brom in anyway a relegation team? And comparing WBA to the likes of Reading, who could do a Wolves and plummet to the bottom of the Championship, is completely wrong as WBA has consistently achieved 40 points plus for the last 3 seasons and are set to achieve 50 plus this year. Think before you speak. By the way, Le Fondre would be a great buy and it would be a big step-up for his career.

20 Mar 2013 13:25:36
west brom after adam le fondre if reading go down

20 Mar 2013 13:07:04
Swedish striker John Guidetti is joining Brighton on loan untill the end of the season. The youngster is currently surplus to requirements at his parent club Manchester City and would be very interested in a move to the championship for game time as Brighton are in need for a temporary striker due to injuries and suspensions.

As he is a vary good player. Got lot of goals at Feyenord on loan. Well be a good asset
to partner Ulloa.

Good signing just adds that pase we are missing in attack

20 Mar 2013 12:59:41
Francesco Totti is interested in joining Watford.

I heard Liverpool.

Jst because he's italian
buffon to watford
chellini to watford

21 Mar 2013 10:23:50
Just like Pompey being linked with every free transfer going, Watford are becoming a rumour joke. Every Italian or Udinese player seems to be linked with the Hornets! Tardelli, Gentile & Baggio will be joining soon (unless Pompey get there 1st, as their freebies!).

21 Mar 2013 16:17:03
Aye Totti will ruin his one-club career for a season at Watford. Jesus wept.

20 Mar 2013 12:19:51

Bouremouth have Enquired about jed Wallace of Portsmouth they are ready to bid upto £200k in the summer

Not going to happen, he's staying with Portsmouth down to league 2.

Wallace is a wonder-kid who's rapidly developing into a quality player. Guy (or whoever the manager will be when the summer window opens) would be mad to sell him, or have an incredibly good alternative lined up to replace him. If the PST take control of the club, then the only reason they'd sell a player for financial reasons is if the buying club are waving stupid money in front of their faces.

It goes to show, our academy may not have a patch on the one down the road, but on occasion we can produce some cracking young players. Can't wait to see what it can do once the PST spend a little TLC on it.

He'd be mad to stay at Pompey if a bigger club is interested in him.

Bournemouth isn't a bigger club look at Pompey they've had loads of success in the past and a mistake with money problems don't stop us from being a big club

The PST is fantasy. Wallace will be down the chip shop (with Elvis) next season.

Wallace and other youngsters like Webster, Butler, etc will stay at Pompey because there is no bigger club in the lower divisions and if they moved to the Championship or above they would almost certainly not get in the first teams for a year or two. Their best hope of career progression overall is to stay put in the short term.

Career progression is made by playing with better team players and against better opposition, Div 4 is not the place for talented youngsters as Pompey will fing out soon enough, Wallace wil be out of the door the first chance he gets, Bournemouth are heading in the opposite direction from Pompey.

Bournemouth a nice little team but they do not have the fan base to overshadow Portsmouth. Those young players are beter off staying put.

Portsmouth bigger than Bournemouth? What planet are you on?
Only consistent thing about Portsmouth is there deluded fans.

Yes Portsmouth ARE a much bigger club than Bournemouth, they would concede this themselves if asked.

Portsmouth have more fans, better fans, have been in the premier division in the last five years, won the f. a cup and f. a cup finalists in that time, also competed in the ueafa cup, better history, being a bigger club than another team isn't all about your league position and the players you have.

A club is all about its fans, through thick and thin. without them there is no club. owners, managers and players will come and go. but the fans are the one constant. and that's why Pompey will always be bigger than Bournemouth. enjoy your time with your rich owner, he'll be off once he realises the Premier League is beyond such a small club as yours PUP
