If rafa manages to keep his job hes highlighted danny murphy as a replacement for lucas leiva. rafa has been analysin video footage of past liverpool players to see how he can make the squad better and he believes that danny murphy can do the job that gary mcallister did in the treble winning season. stephen ireland will also be signed in this role so that there is plenty of depth.
another striker will be signed, possibly kanoute as he has premiership experience and he sees him as a good role model for "future star" david ngog.

trust me people, a former reds player and pundit told me from what he heard on the grapevine

Wayne Rooney is Barcelona's number one transfer target in the summer, they want to team him up with Lionel Messi. Expect a bid of around £65million plus a choice of players which is likely include Thierry Henry, Dmytro Chygrynskiy and possibly some promising youth players. This is according to local press in barcelona. I've been living here for the last 3 months with work, my boss is spanish but he seems certain this will happen aswell.

A little bird tells me that Darren Prately has falling out with the Swan's board over a failed move to Nottingham Forest. Billy Davies was said to have tabled an handsome bid of £2m in January but Hugh Jenkins wanted £4m. Pratly feels this is pricing him out of a move and is angry at this. Sousa thinks this is effecting his game.

To the guys arguing as to whether Big Ron Atkinson was in Ashton Gate on the 18th or a hotel in Portugal. you're bith talking absolute s. I met him with Carlton Palmer in the Red Lion Pub ( Dubai ) on Thursday night the 18th. He said he didn't know who would win the league but he said that if Van Persie had stayed fit Arsenal would have it won by now. This is not a rumour but fact and I have witnesses to this."

Cant back it up as to whether he was in the Red Lion (Dubai) but I can confirm he is in Dubai and has been for at least a week. He was on the local footy programmes last week and as I type he is sat in the same Dubai TV studio with Rob Mcaffery and Derek Whyte commenting on the days actions. So unless he is wracking up the air miles there is no way he was in Portugal.

I am a Liverpool supporter and also worked for a
company that was bought buy Hicks, Muse, Tate and
Furst.

They took all the assets and then secured a loan
with a bank, against the company and walked off with
The money leaving the company to go bust. They are asset
Strippers so watch out all at LFC.

"Manchester United and Nike are looking in to a deal that can see a bid coming in for Fernando Torres at the end of this season. United also had scouts at the Europa league match Werder Bremen vs Valencia"

As a Utd fan i would dance naked on the streets if that happened. Unfortunately, every single football follower on the face of the earth knows that there is less than zero percent chance of that happening.

Anyway onto real stories. I have heard from a friend in Portugal that Di Maria has turned down a move to Chelsea and a second offer from Man city because he has his heart set on joining Utd. If Utd show any serious interest in him, he would be willing to force through a move if Benfica do not wish to sell.

Just thought i'd share some information on the latest investment news coming out of Anfield this week. It is widely known that Purslow has put an Easter deadline for investment to be made in the club. This investment is to pay the debt off and not for purposes of investing in the playing side. That said, the re–financing that RBS has agreed to re enter should such investment be found should release some of the cash, currently earmarked for the debt, to go into the playing squad. This is believed to be an estimated 15M on top of the 20M and plus sales automatically given to the manager per season. However a big, big word of warning. The man behind this investment offer is an AMERICAN called John Muse. He is thought to be ready to co–invest with an AMERICAN equity firm Rhone for a 40% stake costing £110M. What is of concern is that Muse was the Founder of Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst another AMERICAN Company specialising in Buyout's. Yes that's right this Hicks is the Hicks currently arsing up LFC. This is the Company where Hicks made his money. Alarm Bells anyone? Apparently Hicks and Muse didn't see eye to eye. Sound familiar? So if this investment goes through, we'll actually increase our ownership to 4 separate Yanks, two with 40% joint stake and two with 30% each. Oh my God and we'll still be in debt, no new stadium. So any thought of sugar daddy's aint happening any time soon. Well look on the bright side, we'll have debt of £137M and not £737M. Bob the Red

"TO THE PERSON SAYING BRISTOL CITY NEXT MANGER IS Ron atkinson unless he"s got a double he was in portugal yesturday and today staying in my hotel im staying inn, "

No you are mistaken, Big Ron Atkinson was at Ashton Gate today discussing his contract. Big Ron does indeed have a double, Peter Robertson. He uses him at times like this as a smokescreen. Big Ron is in Bristol right now. 100% fact.
