Fergie is going to show he is open to formation changes this summer with his transfer purchases...Ruud, although a great poacher, is not mobile and can't keep up with the way United are trying to play and therefore will be sold to make room for Fernando Torres (24mil spread over three years). This is where Fergie is going to get interesting with Saha partnering Torres up front, and rooney and ronaldo free to move around in a similar way to Ronaldinho, Messi and Deco swap positions and make runs off of each other for Barcelona. Riquelme will be brought in to spread the ball to all of the attacking talent, and a holding midfielder will be used to protect this attacking formation. Carrick is possible as Diarra is making huge wage demands despite Lyon's agreement on a 18mil transfer fee. Yet, most likely is Machereno as it would give the team an Argentian connection from def thru midfield that has worked remarkably on the international level. Expect Fergie to double up on this defensive midfield position and buy a cheaper player such as Petit in case he wants to play a more defensive formation with two def mids and rooney up front.

Stuart Pearce is being left frustrated by the man city board at his lack of funds. The city board are telling him if he wishes to buy he has to sell first, but with the city squad very thin on the grond as it is pearce can't afford to sell, so he is therefore looking for free transfers or players with little value, which is very difficult in the world cup year with all players gaining in value with there performances. Names been mentioned recently include Helder Postiga for 3mil, but this is unrealistic as we dont have that money and pearce wouldnt spend that much on a former premiership flop. Looks like pyscho will have to make do with what he has got, but be warned look out 4 players such as Micah Richards, Daniel Sturridge and Ishmael Miller, these are gonna star next season! Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp is getting desperate to sign big name players and Sol Campbell and Glen Johnson now top his list with Redknapp also after Curtis Davies but will only move for him if the Campbell deal falls through. He wants Petrov still and will amazingly tie up a deal to bring Shaun Wright-Phillips on loan and Henri Camara for £4 million. If the SWP loan cant be agreed then Redknapp will move for Whitehead or Milner or Pennant. It is true that Redknapp also wants to bring in 34 year old RIVALDO although even Bolton are interested and he is quite happy in Greece but Redknapp might offer a tempting deal! Im unsure whether it would be Campbell or Davies who would come but i have assumed Davies for now although Arsenal are likely to get him.

Aussie and Everton star Tim Cahill will move on to join Man Utd for a fee of 8 or 9 mil. Tim Cahill has stated that he wants to remain in the EPL so rumours for a move to Inter and Valencia will not go thru.
Van Nistelrooy will not be parting as he has had a talk with SAF and they have made up.
Man City are going to attempt to sign Daniel Van Buyten, who played on loan at city a few years ago. Also city are after jamie fleet, a young star who plays for chesterfield. The fee is likely to be 50k.
According to the press in Croatia, Zinedine Zidane has agreed a one year deal to join Dinamo Zagreb. I know he's said that he's chucking it in after the World Cup and I still think he will, but this is a pretty creditable rumour so I thought I'd post it anyway.

Torres will be joining after the World Cup linking up with Rooney and Ruud to make one of the most feared strike forces in history. Lining up in midfield will be Mascherano and Riquelme they will create good link up play between midfield and strike. If Riquelme bid fails Carrick will be next in line along with Ribery, the latter being the more likely of the two. Diarra will not come as he is to expensive and will just turn out to be another Essien and no one needs that! Kerlon will not be coming as those reports were purely fabricated expect him to go to a spanish side. With a few quality signings we will gain what is rightfully ours! the Premiership!

Liverpool WILL NOT be buying any of these spanish stars like Torres and Villa. LFC fans will have to look closer to home and it has been reported that Wigans Camara has been stalling on contract talks ahead of the news that lFC is interested. Cisse the flop has been injured again and cant see us selling him to anyone over the price of £6 million. Alves will slip through our hands like Aguero did and so we will bid for chimbonda as he would be ideal. Crouch has secretly dissapointed Benitez with his form last season and will be given another season to prove himself or will be shipped off far away. Viduka is an option but he is aging and we already of Fowler to play that bit part role. Expect younger attackers to come in but not Defoe or SWP, but instead Pennant and Luke Moore.

In the heat of the world cup Arsenal football club are looking to expand on their ageing midfield and attack. The buzz around the grove is that Gilberto and Freddie could be on they're way out. Making way for Portugese wing/midfielder Senna and Hollands Van Der Vart. Both would come at a substantial cost, however it will be no suprise if Arsenal put forward some sort of bid. Also, in the reserves news, young Sydney FC midfielder Mark Milligan has caught the eye of Gunners scouts and has been offered a 6 month loan/trial. The Aussie is currently part of the Australian World Cup squad in Germany. Lastly, it is old news that Sol Campbell has been unhappy at Arsenal during their last term, and a likely replacement will come within in the form of Phillipe Senderos, however Wenger is looking for another fullback and likes the looks of Real Madrid youngster Sergio Ramos, again he may be out of the price range but there is genuine interest there from Arsenal. Watford expect to put the finishing touches to a number of moves prior to the conclusion of the World Cup. Manager Adrian Boothrod is keen to get new faces in before the full squad come back for pre-season training on July 10th.
Boothroyd is to make former loanee, Chris Eagles, his first signing of the summer from Manchester United as a loan with a view to a permanent move. He is also to move for Ugo Ehiogu from Middlesborough for £500,000 on a 2 year deal.

Corinthians midfielder Javier Mascherano will snub a move to Manchester United and Arsenal in favour of a £14m move to Inter Milan. The Argentine would be willing to move to England, Spain or Italy, but would make Inter his preference ahead of any other European side.
Juventus forward Alessandro Del Piero will leave the Stadio Delle Alpi this summer, whether the Serie A champions are relegated or not. Del Piero is behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Adrian Mutu and David Trezeguet in the Juve pecking order and is up for a move elsewhere. He wouldn't want to play for another Italian side, so I'd expect a move to the Premiership, Bundesliga or La Liga to materialise. Werder Bremen could be a surprise move, though Liverpool, Fulham, Manchester City and Osasuna have all reportedly been credited with an interest.

It is true that pratically many of the summer signings of Manchester United are on pre-contractual deals to avoid inflation of prices from consequences of a positive world cup. The pre-contractual agreements also ensure that if a player is seriously injured, then Manchester United have the capability of cancelling the contract.
Contract deals have almost been done with Juan Roman Riquelme and Fernando Torres. Although Manchester United won't reveal further details now due to the possibility of Chelsea complicating the situation.
Crystal Palace are on the verge of signing Hull Citys Boaz Myhill and Jon Parkin for a combined fee of 2.3 million pounds it is also rumoured that former Hull boss Peter Taylor is interested in signing Hulls Damien Delaney and Leon Cort that could cost Palace another 2 million

Liverpool to complete Craig Bellamy signing by Thursday at the latest for £6m. Also, David Villa is now strongly being linked after Luis Garcia says he'd love him at Anfield. Villa would cost around £18m so is unlikely sadly. Aimar deal still on but it all hinges on the Alves move. Personal terms have been agreed with Alves but Sevilla still demanding too much. Word has it that they'll now accept a £9.4m bid as Alves has said he refuses to play as he wants to complete his "dream move"
