If Reading FC get promoted to the premier league, they will look to buy ryan bertrand and gylfi siggurdson who have already played for reading in their career!(17)(16)As much as i love Gylfi, we haven't a hope in hell of re-signing him, hes far too good for us. bigger and better things for him from now on im afraid! You wont get promoted

18 Mar 2012 21:18:35
Charlton are going to sign Jeffery Schlupp on loan from Leicester as Leon Clarke has gone to Crawley on loan which leaves Charlton with only 2 fit forwards as Danny Haynes is injured.(4)(23)No there not he gets first team football.

Southampton will make an audacious bid to sign West Ham trio Carlton Cole , Mark Noble and Kevin Nolan in the summer transfer window if they win promotion to the EPL . The three hammers stars are growing in frustrated with Sam Allardyce and the brand of football they play under him at Upton Park . They see Southampton as team that can match their ambition and play a style of football reminiscent of Swansea in the EPL . These moves will fabricate if the Hammers fail to gain promotion in the championship which is looking increasing likely with the two South coast clubs ( Southampton & Reading ) battling out for the automatic promotion slots. {Ed003's Note - No they wont, and when was Reading moved onto the South coast? }(5)(38)Swansea don't play pass to Lambert and he'll score?Southampton fans really are getting too big for their boots. Arrogant manager, arrogant fans. Let's see how you do next season when the lump up front is found out by Premiership defenders!'Arrogant manager,''lump up front' - absolute rubbish as is the original post. Also, this Saints fan wishes he was as certain of Saints playing Prem football next season as you obviously are! When will some Saints "fans" start to realise that all transfer speculation is based on pure guess work?
I am a Saints fan who realises that the current management will not conduct their dealings in public and so such rumours as posted above are total speculation.

And as for the nonsense posted about their style of play- why bother to post a remark when you have obviously not watched them play this season? Do you seriously believe if their style of play was as you suggest they would have remained in the top two from the start of the season?
I can understand why our neighbours should be upset at the moment but their lack of any football knowledge does show why their club can keep repeating the past problems. How many players will they still have on £30k+ per week after this week?Swansea don't pass! Do you actually watch football?I dont know, it looks to me like southampton could be on a wobble, if it hadnt been for the two penalties Millwall would have beaten you, youve been sussed out by the championship teams, yuou only need to lose a few more games and it could be messy pants time, I still think Reading will win the championship, and the remaining six clubs below will fight it out for second place, so saints dont count your chickens just yet there's still 10 games to goWent and watched Leeds Vs Southampton and that style of play you were adopting couldn't of been any different to Swansea if it tried. If your lot are playing proper football then the rest of the football league don't want to. Southampton will bottle it...Seen Southampton a few times this season and sorry boys, you hoof it as much as any other team in this division. No shame in that, every team resorts to long balls sometimes. Your style of play is definitely no better than anyone else's and if you didn't have the pie lover up front you'd be in real trouble! To describe Lambert, one of the fittest strikers in the Championship, as a pie lover means you must have watched the 3 games he was injured of which we won 2. 'Soton will bottle it', 'on a wobble' - that's the same wishful garbage you've been wrongly spouting all season. Reading may win the championship but its a 3 horse race. Fact.No I'm afraid I've seen him quite a few times this season and previous seasons at Bristol Rovers, I think any team would be top if they had the Michelin Man up front! Oh and putting 'fact' after you've stated your opinion doesn't make it right. You have defo not seen, this season, the new, lean, Championship player of the year that 'would be found out in the championship' ha! Oh and if it's not a 3 horse race (Saints, Reading and West ham) 'for second place', who, amongst the relatively inconsistent 'remaining six clubs' will make up the 13/14 point gap on Saints? I'm pretty certain that none of those teams are playing Pompey every week for the next 10 games!Where does it say the person that posted this is a Saints fan? To call all Saints fans arrogant based on a rumour not necessarily made by a Saints fan isn't very intelligent is it. No way would Southampton go for Nolan, look at Saints buying record recently, all young players. Doubt Cole would be signed, and we don't need another CM.
In terms of Southampton having a wobble, we're unbeaten in 10, winning 6 of those. Not a bad wobble. Our bad patch was December time, but no team took advantage of that.
Lambert is in great shape at the moment, and his goal scoring record speaks for itself. His whole game has improved, look at the number of assists he gets as well.
Whether we'll bottle it or not, I don't think so, we've been here before last season, having to win every game to stay ahead of Huddersfield and we managed it. Most true Saints fans would have been happy with mid-table at the start of the year, the real pressure is on West Ham, who could be in trouble financially if they don't go up.

Bale has already declared he will stay and when he moves it will be abroad!!United are no longer in a position to afford one of Modric or Bale never mind both, but Levy won't sell either anyway

charlton hoping to sign gary hooper from celtic when his contract runs out at the end of the season {Ed025's Note - i think there will be bigger teams in for him disrespect(9)(39)Dont talk pis he's still got another 2 years on his contract and is in talks about extending it and there will be far bigger and better teams in for him than some tin pot team thats going nowhereLike Accrington Stanley ed? {Ed025's Note - i like accrington...but i was thinking maybe bigger....lolNot a chance in hell.To be fair, Charlton will be going somewhere. Not a charlton fan, but think that statement is a bit wrong lol...considering with Rangers not being a contender anymore, SPL will go further in decline. It itself is a tin pot league that no one cares about...His agent has had calls from premiership clubs wanting to sign him in the summer and also expect Southampton to come in big again if they get promoted #nochance ... celtic want 8m for himAnd Celtic would be laughed at. £8mil was too much then, how about now when you cant even beat Killie? Good luck keeping the SPL alive next season, no one likes a one horse race. Saying that, no one likes the SPL either!

18 Mar 2012 08:22:27
Liverpool have no chance of landing the likes of Hazard, Erikksen, Soldado or any of the other dream signings some people post on this site, it is purely people posting their wishlists.
Realistically though, Dalglish will be given another 2 seasons to turn things around unless next season goes disastrously wrong, and he will get 60M to spend this summer plus any profit made on sales (profit meaning more than we bought the player for). His realistic targets are Adam Johnson for the right wing and potentially a move for Dzeko, depending on what FSG decide to do with Carroll, who is surplus to requirements. They believe Dzeko could be bought for 20- 22M and believe hes a better option than Carroll.
The other piece of definite business is a new right back, as G.Johnson will be allowed to leave as his wages are 115k per week and FSG dont believe he warrants that level of wage.
My neighbour is a reporter with the Liverpool Echo and these names have all been mentioned to me by him. He is a good guy, and I believe he will get at least a couple of these right.(11)(19)Get at least a couple right?!? You only gave 2 targets :S

18 Mar 2012 00:21:18

wba looking into the possibility of bringing in swansea on loan midfielder gylfi siggurdson from hoffenhaim in the summmer(8)(35)Why would swansea want their best player going out on loan?.Sorry, hes mufc'sWhy would swansea want their best player going out on loan?.

He is on loan to swanseaHe will go to be better club than WBA or Swansea, and it will take around £8m+.

Reading get 20% of any fee as well. Why £8M+ when he's been offered to Swansea for £6MWell, hoffenheim are going to want to sell for as much as possible, so they will be offering him to as many clubs as possible, if he keeps playing like he is then no doubt there will be alot of interest, i was surprised there wasn't much premier league interest when we sold him originally anywayBalls he will be sold to swansea if they finish in top 10He will be coming to swansea city

17 Mar 2012 13:36:00
all the talk of hazard to spurs is just talk........................and only talk.despite spurs growing in stature hazard will end up at wanna europes elite teams.fact!!(14)(21)The only hazard going to spurs this summer will b the one on dvd with boss hogg.Bitter arsenal fans talkin hash!
im no spud but out of all the london clubs i do see him goin to spurs (dependin on chelsea who decide to be manager). but i think he will go northern man utd or liverpool is my guess

17 Mar 2012 13:33:44
man utd are looking to sign sunderlands mclean in the summer along with evertons jack rodwell(15)(31)Hope not!Mclean is probably the best pound for pound striking prospect I have seen since a 17 year old Rooney.I can see why Man U want him as they looked worringly short of technical and natural ability against Bilbao.Mclean has everything the British game requires and , on current value , should go for £25 - 35m.He is a breath of fresh air compared to some so called stars.Up the Irish!!U can hav rodwell,no probs

17 Mar 2012 13:32:06
arsenal are looking to strike a early deal for rennes midfielder yann mvilla.the french outfit are willing to allow the player to leave if the right offer for both parties comes along and arsenal are looking to steal a march on other rivall milan and chelsea have both shown an interest whilst madrid have had the player on quite a regular basis(13)(10)

17 Mar 2012 13:28:23
swansea have started negotiating with spurs over the potential permanent signing of styeven caulker(14)(13)No they won't Spurs want him back as they consider Caulker one for the future. They might manage another half season loan because at this stage it's better he plays regularly than sits on the bench but he Spurs won't sell

17 Mar 2012 13:27:33
bolton have signed former rangers youngster greg wylde on a free transfer after his releas from the scottish giants.(8)(8)Confirmed

17 Mar 2012 13:26:20
micheal essien could be off to madrid in the summer if jose mourinho isnt offered the blues job.both parties are very keen!(6)(12)After watching him the other night, I would have thought Roman would fly him there himself in one of his Jumbos! He struggled to get past walking pace.

16 Mar 2012 22:58:04
Sheffield United are in talks to sign Colchester United forward Ian Henderson by monday.(2)(22)

16 Mar 2012 22:56:28
Matt Harold will sign for Sheff U from Bristol Rovers on loan for the rest of the season.(8)(19)

16 Mar 2012 21:11:38
Reading will release quite a few fringe players in the summer. Griffin, Harte, Bignall, Howard, Gunnarsson, Tabb, Baseya, Morrison, Williams and a lot of youth players.

Some of these may look to move into coaching - for example Harte/Gunnarsson.

Should Reading get promoted they will clear the above list out, some of the names mentioned will be moving on regardless of promotion or not. Bignall is the biggest waste of space ever, couldn't even play for a league two side.(3)(21)Harte is not a fringe player, playing regularly and having a great seasonHarte is slow and cost us the chance of promotion last year when Swansea destroyed both fullbacks. He is not going to cope next season in the Championship let alone the Premiership. They wil release Griffin, Bignall, Gunnerson and sell or loan out all the other listed apart from Harte"Harte is slow and cost us the chance of promotion last year when Swansea destroyed both fullbacks"

What a load of rubbish, you can't blame one player for us losing that game, you obviously have something against him.

Next time keep your biased opinion to yourself.Yes he has been awesome recently, yes he was one of the players who cost us the playoff final, and yes he was awesome last yearHappy to keep Morrison at Town.Williams has joined Sheffield United on a 2 year deal

16 Mar 2012 20:55:49
Crawley town sign leon clarke(12)(14)Didn't he only sign for Charlton in the January window? Played 7 times for them so far.I thought you could only play for three teams in a season. That's Swindon Chesterfield and Charlton. Isn't going to the creepies breaking the rules? {Ed001's Note - emergency loans don't count.}Can't see this one happening.Haha, enjoy him....... Eeeee oooorrrrFrom Chesterfield fan - Great signing for you boys. Look at his record over 3 month loan for us. Speaks for itself. Id have him back at the B2net anyday.A DONKEY OF THE FIRST ORDER...!When charlton signed him in jan

16 Mar 2012 19:58:15
MK Dons have signed West Ham striker Robert Hall on loan till the end of the season.(10)(8)

16 Mar 2012 19:20:59
Apparently Michael Jacobs from Northampton Town 700K, John Joe O'Toole From Colchester United £1m, Ryan Bertrand £1.5m from Chelsea and Soner Aydońüdu the Turkey Under 21 International is Very Interested with the Clubs Current Situation and Is Looking to Come to the Madejski in the summer for 500k the young up coming star is from Gen√ßlerbirlińüi(3)(11)Would have thought Chelsea would want more than 1.5m for Bertrand, also if we do indeed have a significant cash boost in the summer i cant see Brian still having to drop into league 2 too sign players, Premier league hasbins from now on!1m for JJo'T ? yer man is going to run out of money fast if he carries on wasting it like thatMaking up a rumour is one thing but when you claim to know the fees then you make it very clear it's all BS. Grow up!Michael jacobs is one of the best players to come out of the cobblers since mark bunn and luke chambers...we want to keep him, he's only 20!Reading will loan Bertrand

16 Mar 2012 19:07:00
just a rumour but heard that lee holmes has gone to swindon and matt ritchie coming to the saints in the summer any truth?(18)(12)Lee Holmes has gone to Swindon on loan till the end of the season.Ritchie won't go there. Two simple facts that make this rumour rubbish, in respect of Ritchie.
Firstly, Saints do not declare their hand until all negotiations are complete and a player is signed.
Secondly, and more important, why would Saints be looking to secure anyone as a summer signing whilst they have ten games to complete in the Championship which will decide whether they remain there for next season or are promoted to the Premiership? Until that is decided they will not know what type of player they will need.
The only business they are likely to do now is for loan signings to help in this seasons run in or for youth players to add to their developing academy.Ritchie is from Portsmouth and is a Pompey fan .He's from gosport lol and if the opportunity arises to go to southampton i'm pretty sure he would want to goSaints will have already identified targets for the summer. For example Tadanari Lee was a long term target, and they have a list of players that they have been watching. How do I know this - Adkins stated as much in the Tadanari Lee interview when they completed his signing. No idea whether we're intersted in him or not, but to say we don't know what we'll be buying because we don't know what league we'll be in is short sighted. With the management set up Saints have, you can count on one thing. They will have plan A, plan B, and plan C in place no matter what happens.Ritchie is a pompey fan -yes.
also a pompey fan is that exciting young player James Ward- Prowse.
What team you support hardly matters if the best club on the south coast wants your services, and the fact that we will probably be playing premier league football next season is an even bigger attraction.

16 Mar 2012 18:09:38
Wylde is coming down to see Charlton play Scunthorpe tomorrow. No deal done but wants to speak to Chris Powell and Charlton board. Will be seeing other club/s on Sunday.(3)(13)He's not going to see Charlton because he is staying in Bolton tonight after agreeing terms with Owen Coyle.

16 Mar 2012 16:04:52
Aberdeen are set to sign Marvell wynne on loan until the end of the season from Colorado rapids.(4)(6)Transfer window is closed ya tube .......... Clubs with their windows open can trade but it doesnt mean nations with windows closed can trade with other nations with their windows open

16 Mar 2012 15:16:10
Manny Ledesma has signed for Walsall. The 23 year old has signed a contract for the remainder of the season and is in the 16 to face Yeovil on saturday. He will wear the number 28 shirt.(6)(3)Y not shirt 18 its vacated after gnapka left

16 Mar 2012 14:06:28
Sam Hoskins to Swindon on loan from Southampton Thought he was loaned to Rotherham yesterday? Not too convinced the site link is accurate here.I posted this but it looks like vital football have got it wrong. He's definitely at RotherhamCheers for the update.

16 Mar 2012 12:53:54
Bradford to sign Chris Dagnall today.(14)(13)FACT on Reds web site Wombwell RedThank god hes useless......

16 Mar 2012 11:55:53
wilfred zaha has signed a pre-contract at liverpool thought to be around 9million
JOSH(13)(56)You can only sign a pre contract in the last 6 months before going out of contract - in which case there would only be a fee because Zaha is under 24. So - this is clearly garbage. How can he sign a pre contract with Liverpool if he has over 5 years left on his contract at Palace. Pre contracts are for players who's contracts are due to expire and in any event they can't agree a deal with a club in the same country till it has actually expired!!

16 Mar 2012 11:55:20
Keith Curle is in talks with Leeds united again for more end of season loans, apparently Paytner coming to the lane is still on the cards, also Forsell is a wanted man by Mr.Curl.(15)(7)Warnock wants as many fringe players whose contract is up out on loan to view them rather than givin them 5 or 10 min sub appearancesThis is great , positive news and sends out a message to all Division One rivals that we, at last, are ready for a 10 game dice throw for play-off glory!! Ray Trew ,Notts County chairman, is so good at dealing I think if these two come it will spur us on. Paynter and Forsell are ideal for our level and will love our unique little club. Ray & Keith - you are a dream team and thanks from all Magpies fans for feeding our dreams!

16 Mar 2012 11:33:40
Ipswich, Southampton, West Ham and Reading have been offered Jason Pearce from Portsmouth.(11)(15)Is it just me or would it be a massive betrayal for him to go to saints? It will be Watford or IpswichWhy would it be Watford or Ipswich? I f i was Pearce (btw i'm a Pompey fan), i'd choose either Reading or West Ham.Nah He'd be bench warming at best with Reading, Wet Spam, or Saints, nope he'll be better off being a Tractor Boy also Ward could be offered as well, Ipswich are building for next season, another win today, COYB

16 Mar 2012 11:16:12
Big summer moves Loic Remy-Tottenham, Lukas Podolski-Arsenal, Ezequiel Lavezzi-Manchester City, Luka Modric-Manchester United, Alexandre Pato-Liverpool.(6)(46)Pato Liverpool are you mad?

16 Mar 2012 11:14:59
Any Huddersfield transfer news(4)(13)You will be getting loads of loan players and past their best sheite just like larry did for us at leeds sorry lads cant see any hope. That's funny coming from a Warnock club. Stick to watching the dross mate and think of Bates living the high life in Monaco on your cash.Warnock was superb in the transfer market at huddersfield built a promotion winning side for peanuts.Yes, and we went to Wembley twice with him, but didn't want him back, like lots of other Town fans. The football was dire.

16 Mar 2012 09:22:08
Lewis Grabban has been sighted at Plymouth's training ground, I can see his scruff from here. There are talks of Plymouth signing him on loan with a fee agreed for the end of the season. Hope this isnt the case as hes st!(3)(11)

16 Mar 2012 07:25:55
reports suggest Norwich City are leading the race to sign Watford centre half Adrian Mariappa in the summer transfer window(12)(8)Not sure there will be much of a chase - Watford turned down £2.5m for him from Newcastle - so it will be between £3m and £5m i guess

16 Mar 2012 02:50:54
Good news-Tottenham are looking to sign Loic Remy,Jan Vertonghen,James Mclean,Eden Hazard and Loic Remy this summer. Bad news-Modric and Bale to be sold.(14)(35)Blimey, signing Loic Remy twice. Didn't realise he was that good. Not quit spot on, only modric would leave out of the two & james mclean won't be signing its more like the celtic player forrester(sp)?Wrong on all accountsWrong on all.accounts? Remy had a quote pulled from the internet during the week claiming he will be playing at spurs next season and is looking forward to linking up with hazard! His (remy) agent has also said remy will be a spurs player!! and IF modric goes, he goes top spain or italy for £40 mill & if chelsea, city or united want him they will have to fork out an extra £10 mill.Spurs will sign anything as long as it has two legsThat rules you out then as an ass has four legsHazard and Remy are obviously possibilities and Vertonghen also although we need to have qualified for the CL next season. McLean no I don't think so. Bale won't move and it would be hard to find a buyer willing to pay the £45 plus mill for Luka, Real and Barca don't need him, United don't seem to have that kind of money for one player, City don't need him, Chelsea would like him but Levy won't sell to them and if they don't make CL then Luka wouldn't move anywayIf we sign these players it would be a hugh step forward, am i the only one watching modric and in the big games dont think he shows enough, so i for one would not mindgetting rid longs we brings the sought afters players in dont understand ione thing, all this supposed signings, surely they are only targets until the managerial situation is sortedLoic remy must be good if their signing him twiceThey can have the rest but aint getting jimmy mac

16 Mar 2012 01:20:23
Ibrahima Camara is on trial at Walsall and played in their behind closed doors friendly against Hereford in the week, Camara has been without a team since he was released by Belgian second division side Eupen at the end of last season(8)(4)

15 Mar 2012 23:58:45
Liverpool could have a net spend of over £100m this summer with Bale{£50m},Wilshere{£45m} and Torres{£30m} all on Daglish's wishlist. Hoilett,Kara and Smithies are also summer targets with Hoilett likely to be the first of the summer signings. Liverpool's targets are unrealistic but if they are willing to break the bank who knows. Kuyt,Rodriguez,Adam,Cole,Aurelio,Downing and Aquilani will all be cleared off the wage bill this summer and will probably bring in between £30-40m. Will Bale and Wilshere want to leave probably not but if Wenger leaves and Redknapp takes the England job then who knows. These signings would make a huge statement and will take Liverpool back into the upper echelons of English football for many years to come. Liverpool have not been shy in paying huge fees for young British players having splashed £35m on Andy Carroll and £16m on Jordan Henderson. Chelsea are desperate to offload Torres this summer but don't want to take anymore than a £20m hit on their £50m man, Liverpool's former number 9 has failed to settle and is apparently unhappy at Stamford bridge and unhappy with life in London. Chelsea are willing to offer Drogba the 2-year deal he wants and Ba,Falcao,Llorrente and Cavani are all being looked at as possible replacements with Ba and Llorente the more likely deals. Big deals that might happen this summer M'Vila-Arsenal,Hazard-Tottenham,Modric-United, Lavezzi-City,Llorente-Chelsea(9)(74)We are trying to kick drugs out of football, stop smoking that st, even acid should not produce that sort of delutions.I can't see all these things happening but who knows? I would love to see a squad of -Reina-Doni-Smithies-Flanagan-Johnson-Kelly-Skrtel-Agger-Carragher-Coates-Wilson-Enrique-Robinson-Coady-Spearing-Shelvey-Lucas-Wilshere-Gerrard-Henderson-Suso-Sterling-Hoilett-Bale-Bellamy-Morgan-Suarez-Carroll-TorresLiverpool are looking to sign Angelo Ogbonna who is an Italian centre half who can also play left back and holding midfielder. Hoilett is most likely.Biggest pile of st I've heard in a long timeAnd Bale would want to go to Liverpool because...?

The glory days are over - you're an upper-middle table club with Europa League ambitionsDay release, people don't worry, he will be back in his room later and saying 'cheeseburger'....
bale certainly wouldn't go to liverpool, esp after what he said about them!
also can't see spurs selling both modric and bale, only modric will probably go and then its either spain or italy? & hoilett is off to london! These would be dream signings but so would Ronaldo and Messi also don't know why Liverpool would want Torres back he is mentally shot and probably past his sell by date not sure if Liverpool would pay £20 for him nevermind £30m. Kuyt,Spearing,Adam,Downing,Aquilani,Pacheco,Aurelio,Cole,Rodriguez,Doni and Jones are all rumoured to be close to the axe. Carroll and Henderson are safe as they are long term investments. Liverpool should sell the players mentioned above and dream signings since were all playing CM on this site are Pato,Bale,Vidal,Wilshere,Hoilett and Ogbonna.Best post ever, prize winning BSEven by footy manager standards this is far fetched.

You've just made a wish list of players you would like but have no chance of signing.Carroll, Henderson long term investments. I hope you don't manage my share options then.
