Better clear this up now. NESV have come out and said that they will be "frugle" owners. In other terms don't expect to see huge signings in January. Roy is going to have to be a wheeler dealer along with most PL managers. Not what we wanted to hear but those are the facts!

Basically just to clear this up Rooney will not be leaving Man U, just because he's on the bench for a game the media suddenly presume he is out of favour there and this is most likely untrue! Also I've heard that Liverpool will be signing four new players in the transfer window a Defender (most likely a LB i would hope Fabio Coentrao is a target!), a holding midfielder (maybe Scott Parker or Gokhan Inler), a winger (Mata, Affelay and Griezmann have been linked) and a striker Fernando Llorente is a rumoured target along with Lisandro Lopez of Lyon. I don't think Manchester City will add to there squad in january and Chelsea may sign one player.
I am a Liverpool fan and am glad the situation of the owners is sorted out now we can hopefully move forward! NESV have promised to back Hodgson and i believe this to be true unless we have a terrible run and end up bottom after 10-15 games.

Liverpool to make 4 signings in january, not major names but players who have perfromed well in the premiership. luke varney, who has done well at blackpool this season will sign from derby for 1.5mil and youth player going on loan. also niko kranjkear for 1mil as contract ends in the summer, and charles nzogbia for 10mil, with the final signing being another right winger so kuyt will play cf with torres. the right winger will be none other than jermaine pennant who will resign for the club from the spanish club zaragoza for 1mil(2)(70)

Just moved into london from france, and i am looking for a team to watch?
people have told me to see arsenal, spurs, fulham and west ham, but don't know which one to watch !
ive heard west am are the strongest, cause they are holding league up, fulham i saw in the euro cup,
and arsenal on the champs league are good.
never heard of spurs, who are they ?
do they have a history.

Mourinho has already had a brief discussion with Sir Alex about signing Rooney. Sir Alex said no, but may change his mind if the star striker will not 'play ball' (bad pun!)
Mourinho respects Sir Alex, and would let Benzema join Man Utd in exchange plus cash.
