CELTIC NEWS:

Sean Quinn in takes with good old Dermot about shares (this guy is worth 3billion and a TRUE Celtic Fan. It looks to be a good investment at this time due to Celtics assessts (parkhead, lennoxtown and players etc) Also with the Commonwealth Games coming to the parkhead area makes it good timing for investment.

Expect changes in the team:
Brown to remain Captian, McGeady to stay also. Keane staying for at least another year with Celi making the most of Portsmouth situation and going for O'hara and dioup. Bellamy, REo–Cocker, St Ledger, Ramis and Lee Wallace also in talks. Braafheid back to Bayern.

Bristol city.

Just heard that city failed to lure Ccaba Laszlo. He's waiting for compensation from mad Vlad, so will not be in the frame.

Torres, benitez and now reina all have been reported (mostly by the spanish press, so take as you will) calling for about 5 big names to come in. Presumably this is an exercise in shaking the tree. Such an exercise underlines the lack of real confidence in making the CL places. Its playing on the LFC name/reputation. Its a rallying cry for potential saviours. Its also confirmation if it be needed that the clearout is starting. And the warchest will be smaller than citeh and chelsea's

Riera's patently off. His "the manager doesn't play me or tell me why" rant was textbook disaffected stuff and presumably to be denied at some point. The interesting bit was the two unnamed Russian clubs. If I read the spanish version correctly he's off on loan to one to get a bit of footie before the world cup. Presume this works because seasons are at different times. But I might have this very wrong. Shame. I rated Riera but the EPL eats flimsy wingers for breakfast.

As for the 5 big signings – Jovanovic's supposedly virtually done, arda turan and kjaer have publicly declared an interest (but are they big enough names?) Vargas, Higuain maybe better bets depebding on who's out the door. But 2 will almost certainly have to be domestic talent. Citeh faces a summer clearout possibly bigger than LFC's, as does chelsea. Therefore Barry and maybe Joe Cole come into play.
Joe Cole is less likely and Benitez wants an attacking left back to match Johnson (hence the Taiwo rumours). Barry's arrival would signal Lucas' departure but Insua – as he will count as home grown – will stay if Rafa stays. As for silva – would be great but see above comment on Riera. Mata same. If not Joe Cole then maybe Walcott or Lennon if he recovers. Beyond A Cole there isn't an attacking domestic left back worthy of the name. Can't see many of the chelski rejects staying in the EPL.

Another forest update from the cg as the panel try to make davies happy with a late loan signing who he doesn't want. davies – who sent back a player they brought in on loan without his knowing two weeks ago – has already started planning for the ccc next year and has told the panel to shove the signing – thought to be a lb – in a rectal cavity. davies is already resigned to a playoff spot, is not expecting to go up due to injuries and is frustrated at the lack of ambition shown by the forest board. saphic

To the person who said the Elis deal to take over Rangers is off and John Caudwell is looking to be the new front runner. I also heard the same thing just after the old firm game but thought nothing of it as the Elis deal was all over the press etc. What ive heard from DJ, who is still part of the Rangers hospitality set up is that Caudwell is worth in the region of 1.5 Billion and made this from mobile phone companies. He wouldn't say much else as he had never heard of him but it was aparently Martin Bain who got him interested. Here was me thinking Bain was a celtic man !!

There have been reports in The Sun that Birmingham pair Liam Ridgewell and Seb Larsson along with on– loan striker Christian 'Chucho' Benitez are being lined up by West Ham Utd manager Zola. I've seen the same rumours spread on here it is true that all the players can leave on frees at the end of the season BUT there is no way Birmingham would let them leave if they thought they were good enough to take Birmingham to the next level. All the players have clauses in their contracts which allows Birmingham to activate another two years on their contracts and in Seb Larsson's case talks have been on– off for about 18 months now regarding his proposed 5 year contract. So this rumour is completely unsubstantiated as are the vast majority of rumours on this site!

Rangers to sign tuffy from partick thistle and an spl striker who will score ton and a left winger from the championship.

The only reason Desmond has been holding talks with Sean Quinn is because he want to take out insurance with celtics embarrassing fall from grace..

18 Mar 2010 17:54:00
Robbie Keane will join Wolves for £6mil if they keep there premiership status at the end of the season. He and Doyle will make a deadly partnership.

P.Diddy wil try to sign David Beckham for which ever team he ends up buying because its probably the only "soccer" player he knows of.

18 Mar 2010 17:16:58
After reports that P Diddy (Sean Combs) is enquiring about investing in Crystal Palace, he is also making enquiries into Leicester City after Milan Mandaric stated he was looking for potential investors.

The prospect of potential Premier League football next season as well as a ground which could be a profitable asset to Leicester in a few seasons, especially if they get Premier League Status means that Sean will be very interested in Leicester.

Milan is keen to push through the deal after meeting Sean in London a few weeks ago, which will make him a profit on the club which looked unlikely after relegation in his first season at Leicester. If Sean invests in Leicester, Milan will buy back Portsmouth and take the club out of administration to try and stabilise the club.

Hello chaps, sorry been a bit quiet but my neighbourgh was away and I get all my info from him. Well Forest are in a pickle over transfers. BD has rejected a lad Hogg from Villa and an Australian midfielder from Blackburn. Those that say he is being denied are wrong. The club have sanctioned Bouma but he is worried if it is worth it.Has also been looking at Ball but again will not commit. If you are going to blame people then get the facts and only I (well my neighbourgh) have them. Saphead Sapphic.ps also turns out that BD turned down Giles Barnes on a free. Seems that he is doing well at WBA.

Oh come on please!
We have someone claiming Gerrard is worth £80m with Torres at £70m? Gerrard is 30, injury prone and entering the final year of his contract. A bid of £25m would be more than enough to take him away from Anfield! Remember the compromise Utd had to make in the Beckham Real Deal? Ronaldo was consistent for several seasons and suffered non of the injuries either of these two have. Torres is not worth the transfer fee having spent most of the season on the treatment table although no doubt there will be stupid bids for him.

Another poster claiming Arsenal are interested in a right winger from Ajax called Van Der Wiel. Yes they are, but he is a CB that started originally at LB. He's not a winger!

Aguero in with Eduardo in part/ex? Do me a favour! Like we'd ever pay that kind of money for a player!

As far as the midfield enforcer goes, Felipe Melo is AW's top target, but Axel Witsel (Liege), Marouane Fellaini (Everton) and Jeremie Toulalan are options as is Marcos Senna (Villareal) who could be purchased on the cheap due to Villareal's financial situation.
Fellaini's current injury could scupper a deal however, but Wenger seems keen to link him with fellow Belgians Vermaelen and Van Der Wiel.

YELLOW FEATHER Greetings from Colney, the grass is cut and we have the rest of the afternoon off.. so he is what i know. Mr Wenger was at the Bordeaux game last night, finalising the Chamakah deal ?? or looking of Gourcuff maybe.. and as the Chamakh deal is done, i think the latter is more viable. Fabianski is out !!! a smallish fall out with Almunia and Wenger has secretly lost faith in him, see him go to Spian for a small fee with Loris now a priority for Mr Wenger, and at £9–10M seems a good buy. Gallas will be offered a 2 year deal soon, if he rejects then 2 from Cahill (Bolton)–£8M, Sakho–£8M or Savic–£3M will come in as well as Nordviet returning from loan. Jack Rodwell is the talk of all teams at the moment, scouts and suits went to see him and the Toffee's suits last week, a fee of £20M has been asked for, but i think £15M would prize him from Merseyside, will Wenger pay that for an teenager??? Rumour has it that Balotelli @ Inter is on Wengers shopping list, he will not leave Inter unless "The Choosen One" stays, he he does, then maybe £12–15M could tempt the Itailians to sell. Cesc, Cesc, Cesc i think he is off to Barca a good world cup will see his value rise to £60M from £40M, but i am resigned to say Goodbye to him in August. Others going, Senderos, Silvestre, Djourue, Merida and Eduardo. More when i can. YELLOW FEATHER

Let me clarify something for the Forest fans, with a transfer target the manager identifies him, then approaches the club, then the agent/player. Once all that is clarified then the details are given to the panel.Anything else you hear is rubbish. Manager torn between Ball or Bouma at the moment. Both out for a long time. Both could do well or be a failing distraction. Also toying with idea of Davenport now let go by Hammers. OldJom

My friend works at Ajax and here are some rumours regarding players coming to England
Wonderboy Erikson will move to Arsenal as Wenger thinks the 18year old boy will be great ( and cheap ) for the future.
Also rightwinger vd Wiel is linked with Arsenal.
Vertonghen may leave to Man.United and also goalkeeper Stekelenburg may go their as a replacement for vd Sar.

18 Mar 2010 11:10:43
WOW! I have just heard Chelsea, Manchester City & Manchester United are going to have a bidding war for striker Fernando Torres, i am not saying Torres will leave Liverpool for either of the clubs, all i am saying is they will be bidding for the striker and trying to take advantage of Liverpool's sinking ship!

18 Mar 2010 11:01:28
Man utd too only buy 2 players
even though nani is on form he will be sacrificed for the inevitable joe cole, fergie believes joe cole is better n buy selling nani around 12mil n getting joe for free is a gd deal
next is di maria, a bid around 22mil will be accepted amazing player– ability like ronaldo N can beused in united favoured 451 or 433

{{{How much do you actually know about United? Joe Cole can play left wing or just behind the striker, why would Ferguson bin Nani who is a natural right winger for Cole who is a lefty? sure Nani has been playing on the left but that is down to how well Valencia has been playing and wanting them both on the field at the same time! Ideally Sir Alex wants two decent left wingers & two decent right wingers, now Nani & Valencia will be used for the right side, they will rotate! Park & either Joe Cole or Di Maria will be rotating on the left, maybe both will be brought in as they both can play just behind the striker and both can play as a lefty! Though i expect just one of them!

If United get Di Maria/Joe Cole, Smalling & Rodwell they will not have to buy anyone else for a few seasons, they are hoping to get Akinfeev for free in December, even when VDS, Vidic, Scholes & Giggs leave at the end of next season Fergie will not need to replace them, Anderson is a long term replacement for Scholes, Di Maria will replace Giggs & Smalling will replace Vidic! Fergie will have to find 20m for Rodders & perhaps 25m for Di Maria! but 45m spent in three years will thrill the Glazers! The only players leaving in the summer will be either Kusczcak or Foster, maybe Brown (Villa or Everton) both Tosic, Neville & Gray will def leave, they will bring in 15m which will go straight to the Glazers! End of next season Scholes, Giggs, VDS & Vidic will leave which will reduce the wages by a considerable amount & United will get 15m for Vidic which will also go straight to the Glazers! Gibson, Welbeck, Macheda, Diouf & Obertan will go out on loans, Akinfeev will not come til start of next season, Fergie will let him stay at CSKA on loan!}}}

Possible squad for next season –

VDS–Kusczcak–Amos

Rafael–O'Shea–Vidic–Evans–Rio–Smalling–Evra–Fabio

Valencia–Nani–Hargreaves–Carrick–Rodwell–Anderson–Scholes–Giggs–Di Maria–Park–Fletcher

Owen–Rooney–Berbatov

Di Maria can also play as a striker therefore Fergie will only go with three strikers, next year you can swap VDS for Akinfeev! Scholes, Giggs & Vidic will go, Obertan, Gibson & Macheda will come in! There will also be youngsters brought in & youngsters sold, all money will go to the Glazers!

ANON

Details on Manchester City's transfer targets and 3 new candidates for the managers job next season!

Managers:
Jose Mourinho – Could be offered a HUGE deal for 5 – and – a half year contract. He would earn £17.5m a year!

Guus Hiddink – Some people may say he is the favourite and some people may say "no chance" but i know this guy wants a return to England, so i wouldn't be suprised if he arrives at City or Liverpool.

Martin O'Neill – Reports say he has fellout with Randy Lerner but he hasn't, he could end up at City with alot of money in his pocket. Former City player aswell so that might make a difference.

Transfers Ins:
Maicon £18m Inter Milian– Wants to be part of the City team and his agent has said his client is interested.

Ansaldi £14m Rubin Kazan– This deal was nearly done in January, but Rubin Kazan wanted him for the rest of the season, this transfer has already been sorted out as far as i'm concerned.

Fernando Gago £25m Real Madrid– As many people know this was close to being done in January but time had ran out so he WILL definatly arrive in the
summer.

Gonzalo Higuain £38m Real Madrid– Apparently fell out with Cristiano Ronaldo, so one of the two will be leaving, and i don't think it would be Ronaldo wanting to leave just yet. If any offers from other teams come in on Higuain, City will just keep bidding until rival bidders go away.

Maybe's:
Torres £70m Liverpool– Unhappy at the way the team is ran and ready to jump ship at the end of the season.

Gerrard £80m Liverpool– Now i know no reason for this but he has never denied a move to City when linked.

ALSO.
City will have first refusal on Lionel Messi's contract. If Messi wanted to leave Barcelona, City would be asked if they want him for around £130m!

LIVERPOOL RUMOURS:
New owners to be in by the season's end. Rafa to stahy on because the yanks can't afford to let him go, plus the new boys want to give him a chance with a bit to spend. He has until the new year to prove himself. Despite a relatively handsome budget he has set his sights on:
Taye Taiwo – £10m (rated as best LB in France)
Simon Kjaer – £12m (Carra's replacement)
Vasillis Torosidis – £3m (solid RB)
Nadir Belhadj – £3m (Rafa highly rates him)
Milan Jovanovic – Bosman (Done deal)

Also a possible move for either David Silva or Sergio Aguero if the money's right. Outs will be:
Fabio Aurelio – Bosman
Phillip Degen – £4m
Albert Riera – £12m (Could be used in a David Silva deal)
Krizstian Nemeth – £5m (AEK Athens, done deal)

Also expect to see more of Dani Pacheco and Martin Kelly next season, which could also prove to be Jamie Carragher's last!

Official – Peter Ridsdale HAS quit at Cardiff City.

Despite trying to get a rival investor in, so that he could remain in power, the board refused to talk to this investor as the Vincent Tan deal has been signed, sealed and delivered.

Vincent Tan will be the new owner of the club, with Dato Tan Chien Ghee installed as chairman. Steve Borley is the new vice–chairman and the board is being 'streamlined' as of next season with Paul Guy, Mike Hall and Keith Harris leaving. There will be a new board member – Scott Waddington who is the CEO of Brains Brewery and also head of the CBI in Wales.

As part of Scott Waddington joining, the stadium will be called The Brains Stadium and Brains will be the official shirt sponsor as well. I work in the brewing industry, and S&N (Scottish & Newcastle) are pulling out of Cardiff City and Brains will have first call on the drinks sold at the bars.

New players in the summer:

GK – Jason Brown, Anton Amelchenko

DF – Dan Harding, Matthew Spiranovic, Danny Collins, Sean St. Ledger, Andrew Davies, Nicky Hunt

MF – Ben Watson, Ricardo Vaz Te, Andy Dorman, Jason Koumas, Ross Forbes, Richard Chaplow

ST – Simeon Jackson, John Sutton, Brett Pitman, Richard Brodie, Billy Mehmet

Cardiff will also give pre–season trials to the following players:

Steve Smith (Poole Town) – young striker who partnered Charlie Austin (now at Swindon) and scored 20 goals in 29 games.

Brett Partner (Corsham Town) – young midfielder/winger who has already caught the eye of West Ham United, St. Mirren and Bristol City.

Jordan Fincher (Stafford Rangers) – young midfielder who made it to the last 10 on Sky's Football's Next Star, and has played infront of Jose Mourinho.

All looking good for the Bluebirds next season!!

I have just flown back to the West Coast for the start of the MLS season (assuming the contract wangles get fixed) and have been told that this Aguero to Real Madrid rumour is the result of a throw away remark in respect of getting Chelsea to drop any interest in Ribery – meaning that RM can pick him up without a bidding war. However, I think that they should worry more about Manchester United than Chelsea. Sharkey (back on the West Coast)

CELTIC NEWS.. People laughed when it was said " keane to celtic" news coming out of ireland is sean quinn is in talks regarding major investment in celtic for a share purchase from desmond. This rumour was on here yesterday reports from RTE have said something is going on hard hitter sean quinn has been having meetings with dermot desmond all week. CELTIC net worth is well over 100m including players, lennoxtown , 60k stadium, and the bonus \ the commonwealth games which is transforming the parkhead area , plus glasgow council and the british athletic investment for 2012. So the rumour on here looks good information. And the rangers fans slagging off the guy who wrote this story , really should worry more about ellis. Sean quinn is worth over 3 BILLION , 20–25M WOULDNT MAKE A DENT IN HIS FORTUNE.
