Have heard today that Craig Levein will be anounced as Celtic manager tomorrow (Monday) with Peter Houston as his assistant. I'll say this came from a good source because they have given me a couple of Celtic rumours before that have been true.
I hope this one isn't true.

Out of Premiership rumours..

Brighton and Hove Albion's Dean Cox is linked with a free transfer Southampton, Swindon Town and Sheffield Wednesday.

Michel Kuipers is set to move to Hereford United.

Boston United striker Spencer Weir–Daley looks set for a move into the higher leagues, as Chesterfield, Lincoln City and Shrewsbury Town are after him.

Matt Hamshaw may still make the leap into League One, as Carlisle United are interested.

Jay DeMerit, Richie Jones and Will Hoskins are all expected to go to Sheffield Wednesday. Jones in a near–certainty.

Stephen Jordan is set to join Oldham Athletic.

16 May 2010 21:55:45
Simply speculation.

Sheffield Wednesday are looking at a double swoop for Jack Midson and James Constable from Oxford United for a combined fee of between £750,000 and £1,000,000.

And a tip to Burnley fans – don't get too excited by Brian Laws' "wonder signings".. look at what he did to Wednesday with his signings.

Peterborough United very close to completing Free Transfers for Dave Hibbert (Shrewsbury) and Mark Little (Wolves)

The Club are also rumoured to have made a 500k approach for Leicester City Midfielder Matthew Oakley.

16 May 2010 21:59:41
Everyone seems to be talking about which mega–star is going to which club, however something which has been briefly mentioned recently is the new EPL ruling, where 7 of the 25 squad must be 21 or under and have been registered in England or Wales for at least 3 years, so this is where I see the real intersting times happening. Just doing a quick recky, against Wiki, (which only measures league appearences) and these are the following results of the existing squads: Liverpool have 9 players in their current squad that have made an appearence in the league for the club, Man U 6, (Including Smalling), Chelsea 7, Arsenal 6, Spurs 5 and Man C 1. There are a few obvious omissions, such as League Cup / FA Cup and European appearences, as well as players on loan to other clubs gaining massive experience.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Clearly you don't understand the ruling at all. Players do not CURRENTLY have to be 21 or under, they merely have to have trained in England/Wales for 3 years before they turned 21. Any player under 21 does not have to be registered and automatically qualifies to play. So under the ruling Arsenal players that qualify as homegrown are –
Clichy, Fabregas, Denilson, Campbell, Walcott, Merida, Song, Bendtner, Djourou, Mannone, Szezney, Gibbs, Ramsey, Wilshere,

That's 14 players, all of whom bar Merida and maybe Wilshere and Szcezney, will be in the Arsenal squad of 25. Some are U21 so wouldn't need to be registered but may be registered to meet the quota.

Arsenal squad for next season
Hart (8m)/Almunia/Mannone
Sagna/Eboue
Mertesacker (10m)/Djourou
Vermaelen/Campbell
Clichy/Gibbs
Song/Denilson/Senna (4m)
Cesc/Gourcuff (18m)/Diaby
Rosicky/Nasri/Arshavin/Walcott/Wilshere
RvP/Chamakh/Bendtner

25 players with 12 home–grown players.

Out – Eduardo (6m), Gallas/Silvestre (free), Vela (loan), Szcezney (loan PL club possibly Birmingham or Newcastle), Fabianski (2m),

Net Spend – £32m

So, I see the race hotting up for raids for Blackburn's Jones and Olsen, West Ham's Tomkins and Stanislas and Sunderland's Henderson. Also from the Championship, Hobbs of Leicester, Carroll of Newcastle and more.

Any thoughts on other prospects that could be bid for?

Cheers

Rangers to go into administration if they cannot agree payment with HMRC quickly. Bank getting worried too and my sell all assets asap. Rangers may also be relagated if they start over completely as what happened with Livingston. Walter and Ally to leave. Reserves and U19's to make up their team. Dark dark days ahead for us. Champions League only guarnteed if we can stay in business till august. Here's hoping.

Celtic to get the manager who is cheapest, sign cheap players again underestimating the rest of the league and us. Celtic selling off their best players too and not bothering to replace them. Celtic debts will also rise along with all the other clubs leading to the slow death of Scottish League Football.

Down in the dumps bear.

A WORD ABOUT DAGENHAM AND REDBRIDGE, WHAT A WIN, 6–0!!

If Dagenham do not get promoted, Star Winger Danny Green will head to Leeds, Norwich, Ipswich or West Ham for a fee around about 800k or 1m.

Also, 19 goal striker Paul Benson is attracting intrest from top league 1 teams like Swindon (to replace Paynter or Austin or Both) for a fee about 300–500k

COME ON YOU DAGGERS

16 May 2010 19:54:46
Norwich City have got no investment coming in and most of the players being linked with on here are so unrealistic as well as Lambert is being run on a tight budget. This was shown the other day when Doherty was released due to his high wages and also Russel more than likely joining Leeds due to them offering a lot more money each week.

But as far as im aware Lambert is looking to use the League 1 play offs to his advantage. Billy Paynter or Steve Morrison are two new strikers being lined up depending on where both clubs are next year as well as Nicky Bailey and Gordon Greer. But all of these players that will be signing for us at nearly a million pound a piece is not real as the money is just not their. Thats why Forster may not be back next year due to the lump sum of money Newcastle want for us to have him for a year

I have it on good source that the new manager of Plymouth Argyle could be none other than Gerard Houllier! He is good friends with the Plymouth Argyle chairman and is rumoured to have spent the last 2 days in Plymouth talking to Sir Roy Gardner. If this is true , the board promise of premier league football in 4 years could come true!

To the person that said otamendi has signed for west ham for 3.5m or something around that i can say that this is absolute rubbish he has just broke into the argentina squad and velez his team would not listen to anything below 8million plus he would not join west ham anyway so stop posting rubbish.West Ham to sign championship players and freebies this summer.

Re prev worried rangers fan.
i'm at a real loss with this. im in the know with a few folk at ibrox and apparently admin is a real threat. it wouldn't affect us this season, but would have to start next season minus 10 (rangers already have their license in place for next seasons champ league. pompey didn't before anyone starts going down that road) what is confusing me with us being skint is, and i don't believe the guy that told me this would make it up, is apparenty ellis's people (guy possibly taking over at ibrox) is meeting with ruud van nistelroys(spelling!) agent over move to ibrox. it may suit any takeover bid for rangers to be put into admin – no more debt etc and start over. not sure how that would work, but ther is loads of differant info coming out, like i said. how can we be that skint but look to sign someone like rvn. i no he past it now but would still command decent wages (far more than were paying now, and defo more than it would take to resign kris boyd??) strange and worring times my bluenose friends

Rafael Benitez has vowed to stay and right the wrongs of this season, he will not leave and he will not be sacked as the club cannot afford it so the club are willing to give him at least another year to get back into the champions league and he has been told he will be given a budget of £20million plus sales, there is set to be a mass clearout of the deadwood in attept to raise funds and thankfully we got rid of Voronin and Dossena in January , players leaving are as follows Yossi Benayoun, Albert Riera, Ryan Babel, Fabio Aurelio, Phillipe Degen, Nabil El Zhar, Sotiris Krygiakos, Diego Cavalieri, Charles Itandje, David Martin, Gerardo Bruna, Damien Plessis, Robbie Threlfall, Martin Hansen, Peter Gulasci, Mikel San Jose, Kisztian Nemeth, Andras Simon and Vincent Weijl all set to be shown the exit door , Rafa is getting rid of about 20 and bringing in about 10 looking for a squad of quality over quantity.

21 year old Central midfielder Scott Arfield is Southampton's main target this summer. Alan Pardew will offer £300,000 plus £100,000 after promotion to the recently relegated SPL outfit Falkirk for the Scotland U21's services.

Meanwhile Southampton are keeping tabs on Preston's Richard Chaplow. Cash–strapped North end who are facing a Winding up petition would require a £300,000 fee for the midfielder.

Inigo Calderon has accepted Southampton's double your money contract, and has left Brighton for Southampton after his contract expired.

Bristol Rovers striker Joe Kuffour is another target for Southampton. Rovers who sold Southampton Rickie Lambert at the start of the season would be looking for a fee of £400,000 for the Ex–Bournemouth forward.

Meanwhile Bristol Rovers are expected to offer a contract to Lloyd James, the Bristol born Wales U21 international was released at the end of his contract at Southampton, despite netting twice from Right back and Central midfield. Leyton Orient are expected to sign Simon Gillet on a free whilst Torquay will sign Goalkeeper Michael Poke who has also been released by Southampton. Chris Perry could link up with Phil Parkinson at Charlton as part of the coaching set up. Jon Otsemobor is in talks with Sheffield Wednesday whilst Eastbourne hope to sign former Saints duet Kayne McClaggon and Jamie White on non–contract basis'.

Sterling / Shelvey / Wilson & Hennessy are/have been brought with the money from the January sales of Dossena / Voronin and Mikhaylov (nope I'd never heard of him either but apparently, Steve Mclaren paid £1.5 million for him before he left FC Twente).
The yanks will eventually sell but for no where near the price they want – either way, the debt will be cleared. However, the new stadium is in serious trouble. The wonderful americans spent in the region of £46.5 million on the stadium last year..yes..thats the stadium that in no way whatsoever exists, has any foundations or has even resulted in a spade being stuck in the fing ground yet. Anyway, this means that whoever the buyer is, their money (after the buyout) will have to go on the stadium which means Rafa (yes he will be staying unless the new owners want to buy out his and his back room staffs contracts which equal around £25 million) .. sorry Rafa needs to sell to buy. Therefore expect the following to leave: Cavalieri / Degen / San Jose / Skrtel / El Zhar / Plessis / Benayoun / Mascherano / Babel / Riera & N'gog.
Targets (if they can be persuaded to come without CL football) are: Pareja (Espanyol) / Kolarov (Lazio) / Banega (Valencia) / Ozil (Werder Bremen) / Santa Cruz (Man City). Jovanovic will (if Rafa stays) join on the Bosman ruling and possible Pantelic as well?

"Argetinian right back Nicolás Otamendi has been bought from Vélez Sársfield in Argentina by West Ham for 3.5 million pounds."

I would be really astonished if this is correct as Fiorentina and Juventus have been showing interest in the player since last year. I find it very hard to see why he would join West Ham. Sharkey.

Argetinian right back Nicolás Otamendi has been bought from Vélez Sársfield in Argentina by West Ham for 3.5 million pounds. He will get a work permit because of his 6 appearances for the national team.

Mark Hughes will become the new West Ham manager tomorrow (on Monday)

Just got back from Sicily and there is a lot of speculation about Kjaer signing for Liverpool. There was also talk of Luca Toni and where he likely to end up next season. The Italian media think that he will either be off to the MLS or to Blackburn Rovers, which wouldn't be a bad signing!

Finally James 007, i agree with the post made earlier about your nonsense posts – they offer nothing more than takeover speculation that has already been discussed in the media and on this website! YNWA

NOTW reports City will offer £40m plus Stephen Ireland & Emmanuel Adebayor for Steven Gerrard & Fernando Torres.

I myself think as long as Rafa stays as LFC manager.. Gerrard & Torres will be going nowhere and that's coming from a United fan.

Yoann Gourcuff is becoming frustrated at Bordeaux because of the lack of talent over there in the club. Marouane Chamakh is all but done a deal to join Arsenal in the summer and Yoann Gourcuff is looking for a new club because of Chamakh's departure. Bordeaux have been contacted by both Arsenal & United over the player but no deal has been discussed just yet. I think both Wenger & Fergie will watch him in the World Cup when he has got quality players all around him to see what will happen with him and a possible deal to the EPL.

NOTW also reports that Chelsea will go for Kaka who has had a "not so good" 1st season at Real Madrid. After Chelsea have just done the double and also have money to spend, maybe attracting a player they went for before winning nothing will be easier.

Little birdy just told me Joe Cole has rejected the chance of Champions League football with Spurs and United to join Liverpool on a free transfer. This will mean that one or two of Riera, Babel and Benayoun will be leaving. Riera will go to Russia, and Benayoun to Italy, £8 million each. Babel is interesting clubs across Europe, and Liverpool are looking for around £10 million for him. This gives Liverpool and extra £28 million, on top of other sales and the other £25 million in the transfer kitty, giving us around £60 million to spend. This will go on a striker, a left back, a left winger, a centre back, a central midfielder and some youth players.

what a pile of ste! why on earth would he or anyone want to go to liverpool??

app though fella he is off to spurs b4 the world cup begins

Obviously a jumped up little Spurs fan who's ruined a few pairs of pants because Spurs qualified for a QUALIFIER. Get real sunshine, you won't make it through the qualifiers, and Cole won't be joining you. He will be joining Liverpool, along with Arda Turan and Juan Mata.

I just heard that it will be Berbatov and not Anderson offered to Benfica. And Harry Redknapp told Sir Alex Ferguson that he will give him a warning if Carlo Ancelotti makes a bid for Luka Modric and Gareth Bale Harry considers accepting it. Same applies to Ashley Young and Jack Rodwell.

United WILL be making big changes this summer, despite what SAF has said. This is because Vida is set to finally bow to his wife (and agent??) and leave. which will spark off a possible transfer potboiler!! Here are the (almost) done deals, and the possibilities

OUTS
Carrick – 12M to Tottenham or Villa
Foster – 5M
Vida – 5–10M + player, or 20–25M
Tosic – 8M
Kuszczak – swap or 8M
Lot of kids on loan

INS
Milner – 20M
Silva – 20M
Chiellini – (ex with Vidic) or Sakho/Kjaer – 15M
Akinfeev – swap with Kuszczak or De Gea – 10M

Net spend so far on these plus the youngsters is just about 30M, well short of the ~50M that Gill had promised SAF had to spend.

Now, apart from these, SAF is looking to see if potentially the following players could leave in case the right offer comes in
Berba – 20M (he is still a class act, would be a hit in Italy)
Owen – any bid over 4M
Rio – 18M plus (dont be surprised, he has lost some pace and plays about 25 games a season for 6M quid a year. its a freaking joke!!)

If Berba goes expect a bid for Dzeko or Borriello, in case Rio goes. there are enough young CBs around.but watch out for a bid for Otamendi or Fazio

Lastly, possibly expect a shock Vidic + 10M combined bid for Chiellini and Buffon. All depends on how the situation develops..Buffon isn't exactly happy at Juve anymore

RED DEVIL FOR LIFE!!

16 May 2010 17:18:34
Turan to Spurs for 5m Euros and Giovani Dos Santos.

Also just a note on people playing fantasy.. If you sell a player you do not get all that money to spend on new players..

For example.. Liverpool get £60M for Torres, however Torres who hasn't asked for a transfer will be looking for 10% of that as a loyalty bonus.. then theres the various agents that need their palms greased and any sell on percentage and remaining installments to former clubs. Therefore if Liverpool where to sell Torres for £60M this summer they wouldn't even have enough left to pay the interest of their crippling debt.

I've seen Liverpool linked with Joe Cole, makes sense but I'm not sure Liverpool need another +100k player on their books.

16 May 2010 17:07:39
Barcelona are looking to land 3 big players this summer Ashley Cole, Cesc Fabregas and David Villa.Eric Abidal is going to Inter Milan , Thierry Henry is heading for New York Red Bulls and Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a target for Manchester City who are having a clear out sale apparently Emmanuel Adebayor is AC Milan's top summer target because Borriello looks set for a move to Old Trafford, other Man City players that may leave Shaun Wright Phillips, Stephen Ireland, Robiniho, Roque Santa Cruz, Benjani, Craig Bellamy, Valeri Bojinov, Felipe Caicedo, Nedum Onuoha, Jo, Micah Richards, Martin Petrov and Sylvinho are all thought to be surplus to requirements, what was Man City thinking buying so many strikers in the last 2 and a half years Bojinov £6million, Jo £19million, Caicedo £5million, Robinho £32.5million, Benjani £7.5million, Bellamy £14million, Santa Cruz £18million, Emmanuel Adebayor £25million, Carlos Tevez £30million.Who they will sign is anyones guess , I reckon even without champions league they can get Maicon, Ibrahimovic, Boateng, Young and Di Maria.

SOUTHAMPTON ARE GOING TO SIGN EVERYBODY IN THE WORLD

THEY WILL THEN BUILD A STADIUM BIGGER THEN OLD TRAFFORD TO FIT ALL THE PLAYERS IN, THEY WILL LOOK TO BE ABLE TO PLAY 50 A SIDE!

Southampton fans you all talk total b0llocks. Please just shut up and accept the fact your team isn't as good as you think. You didn't have a good season, you wouldn't of even got close to the mighty yellows at the top even with your 10 points back, just shut up and accept the fact you're a small league 1 team. Pompey piss all over you. THEY fckING BEAT YOU 4–1.

Moving on, Ipswich will go nowhere in life.

Norwich will announce the signins of;

Luke Moore & Frazer Forster, and Danny Green from Dag & Red.

Simples.

Sounds like your jealous to me.
Saints didn't win til the 8th game this season. Add those points back on and we would be pushing for the automatics.

Anyway with the money we DO have we will be signing the likes of:
Inigo Calderon (Free)
Michail Antonio (Reading)
Brian Stock (Donny)
Papa Waigo (Fiorentina)
And possably:
Simeon Jackson (Gillingham)

Man Utd Will Sign: Milner £19M, David Silva £24M, Chiellini £22m, (Cleverley – Back From Loan)

Players Leaving: Vidic 25M, Carrick £16M, M.Owen – Free, Foster 6M, Tosic £8M Cathcart £1M, Gray Free, Possebon Free, Drinkwater 500K, Hewson Free,

Loan Out: Welbeck, Macheda, Josh King, Matty James,

Think Berbatov will stay(unfortunately). Fergie knows he'd only get abt £15M for him. He may offer him as a makeweight in a deal. Im hoping so anyway (just never gonna be a "utd" player) Dont see the gaffer spending loads on a striker as i can't see were the value for money is. Hope we do but just can't see who & where its gonna happen. Im hoping for a nice suprise on that front. Think Silva & Milner are just what we need.. look no further.. Both Quality Signings. Think we're gonna cash in on Vida coz theres no chance of him signing another contract in 18 months!!

Arsenal transfer rumours

Ins: Zapata, Hart/ Buffon, Arteta, Yaya Toure, Ribery, Chamakh, Sakho/Mexes and Wright Phillips

Outs: Gallas, Senderos, Silvestre, Almunia or Fabenski and maybe Fabregas

How much money do you think Wenger has. We Would never get Ribery, and we would only sign one of Arteta/SWP. Even if Fabregas leaves, Gourcoff would be the ideal replacement. Zapata does seem likely, as does Yaya, but Mexes would not be signed aswell. Sakho would only come if Traore goes in the opposite way. Fabianski is not leaving.

New owners to be in place by the end of World Cup. Most likely Middle Eastern or Indian. Arsene has whittled his CB options to the following 6 players: Cahill, Mertesacker, Diakhate, Sakho, Zapata and Subotic.
i doubt he will sign Sakho as he's left footed, Subotic is likely to go to Milan and Cahill will be ludicrously overpriced. Zapata has the versatility, Diakhate is not that great. my pick would be Mertesacker, who would cost 15m–ish.
2 more players will arrive at the Emirates in the form Chamakh(free) and Yaya Toure(16m).
if Fabregas leaves, Yaya will be part of that deal + 35m, and Gourcuff will be signed for £21m.

therefore:
out: Fabregas(35m+Toure), Eduardo(8m), Sunu(1m), Traore(3m), Gallas Silvestre Senderos Merida(frees), Wilshere Fabianski Sunu Nordtveit Galindo(loans).

in: Y Toure(player exchange), Mertesacker(15m), Chamakh(free), Gourcuff(21m), Wellington Silva(workpermit, january).
spent: 36m
made: 47m
net profit on transfers: 11m.

Campbell, Almunia, Rosicky and Arshavin likely to leave next summer, expect Wenger to sign Hazard and a GK, with Nordtveit and Wilshere promoted.

I'd just like to take a minute out from all the rumours and speculation, to give my condolences to the family of Besian Idrizaj, the ex–Liverpool and Swansea player who died in his sleep on 15th May 2010 at the age of 22. A bright talent, who was cruelly taken before his time. Shocked me to hear it, may he forever rest in piece.

Onto transfers, Liverpool will wrap up the signings of Danny Wilson, Arda Turan, Aleksander Kolarov and Rafael Van Der Vaart before the World Cup begins.

Transfer Facts:
Man Utd will have to sell before they buy – Fact – They have already commited to buying players to the value of c£20m (Smalling etc), which is basically their budget spent so, who will go – In my opinion, Anderson, Berba & Nani are the most likely, and could, with a little luck, generate c£40m –– Therefore, enough to purchase a new Goalkeeper and Striker

TRANSFER BULLSH!T YOU MEAN? SMALLING AND DIOUF WERE PURCHASED DURING THE JANUARY TRANSFER WINDOW, FERGIE HAD 10M TO SPEND LIKE HE HAS 10M TO SPEND EVERY JANUARY, HE PAID 7M UPFRONT FOR SMALLING AND 3M FOR DIOUF! THAT CLEARS UP THAT SILLY THEORY.

FERGIE HAS ALWAYS HAD A MINIMUM OF 25M TO SPEND IN THE SUMMER, SO FAR HE HAS BOUGHT HERNENDEZ FOR 6M, THEREFORE HE STILL HAS A MINIMUM OF 19M TO PLAY AROUND WITH, SEEMS UNITED NEED AN ATTACKING MIDFIELDER (THIS IS WHAT FERGIE MEANT BY HELP FOR ROONEY) HE WILL SET HIS SIGHTS ON SILVA.

WITH THE SALES OF FOSTER, CATHCART, GRAY, POSSEBON AND TOSIC UNITED WILL HAVE AN EXTRA 16M TO ADD TO THE 19M TRANSFER FUNDS UNITED ALREADY HAVE, UNITED WILL BID FOR SILVA AND RODWELL, 35M WILL BE ENOUGH TO CAPTURE THESE TWO PLAYERS, SILVA WILL COST AROUND 20M PLUS ADD ONS, RODDERS 15M PLUS ADD ONS!

UNITED WILL BE KEEPING NANI, BERBATOV, CARRICK AND ANDERSON, AND AMOS WILL BE PROMOTED TO UNITED'S NUMBER THREE GOALKEEPER, UNITED WILL BUY A KEEPER EITHER IN JANUARY OR NEXT SUMMER WHEN VDS RETIRES!

UNITED DO NOT HAVE TO SELL IN ORDER TO BUY, THAT IS WHAT LIVERPOOL HAVE TO DO BECAUSE THEIR OWNERS WANT TO LEAVE, UNITED'S DEBTS ARE COMPLETELY MANAGEABLE AND THEY WILL BUY TWO QUALITY PLAYERS THIS SUMMER, SOME PEOPLE REALLY NEED TO USE THEIR HEADS, UNITED HAVE ALWAYS BEEN IN DEBT EVER SINCE THE GLAZER'S TOOK OVER, IN FACT THEY ARE MORE COMFORTABLE WITH INTEREST PAYMENTS NOW THAN WHAT THEY WERE BEFORE, THEY HAVE BOUGHT SOME VERY EXPENSIVE PLAYERS FOR FERGIE IN THE PAST AND IT WILL NOT CHANGE NOW, THEY ARE HERE TO STAY AND OBVIOUSLY WANT UNITED TO SUCCEED IN TOURNAMENTS!

Liverpool fc's real debtis 108million or so, whereas kop holdings wich was set up by G&H has debt of 347millions
so there is no chance of liverpool going into administration or having to sell big players, though this doesn't mean that they will have a large budget cause G&H still have debt but there is 20M from standard.
Torres wouldn't play for any other premiership team as that's what he has said before. The press just love to talk about gloom and doom ant liverpool.
Rafa is also staying. liverpool have linked with lots of different players but no one knows who is a real target.my hopes Dzsudzsak(LW)15M, Mata(LW/RW)18M, Cissokho(LB)10M, Jovanovic(ST/LW)Free, Banega(CM)9M, Suarez(ST)17M.

Manchester United look set to sign Valencia Winger/Playmaker David Silva for as little as £17.5 million. Although this fee could then rise up to as much as £23 million. It is unlikely that MUFC will sign Benzema as he looks set to prove himself at Real Madrid. A bid for Gourcuff is also doubtful as he wants to stay loyal to Bordeux. There is a chance Milner will sign, to play CM, he hopes that Champions Legue football will increase his chance of first team football for England. Also if the chance for a GK comes SAF may put in a bid, otherwise wait for Akinfeev in January or a different young GK next summer.

You heard it here first.

Onto rumours;
zapata will be going to arsenal with the possibility of sakho as well.
Arsene will sign a center midfielder with some flair to play infront of song with fabregas, milner and gorcuff are looking like the two most likely targets.

The area around Ibrox has been purchased by Andrew Ellis and a undisclosed consortium (canary wharf rings a bell). Major development is about to commence."

The 2012 final will be played in Munich as announced by UEFA a while back,
look guys if you are going to make up crp stories why don't you check out before you post that way maybe some people may beleive you.
There will be no major building works in the near future around Ibrox or anywhere else in Govan due to the times we are in.

I work in the banking industry in Glasgow and i can confirm both sides of the old firm are in major trouble along with most clubs in Scotland.
Neil Lennon will be offered the Celtic job because he demands the least amount of money of anyone mentioned. W. Smith will continue as Rangers boss and will have to accept that any money offered for players will have to be taken as LLoyds have to balance the books. Do not expect any major signings from both sides and this will continue for years to come unless the leauge structure is overhauled or some type of European league is formed, but this has to happen soon before both teams slip of the radar. The taxman maybe probing into Rangers at the moment but the word on the street is that they are preparing to launch a (attack) probe into Celtic also, mainly players coming in from Asia and falsely reported attendances and accounts.

This could be the end of Scottish football as we know it.

LFC.NEWS newsbar liverpool
Steve Gerrard is on one, he has seen his back side with all the ongoing antics with Gillet, Hicks, Rafa and the board at LFC, he is very unsettled and feels the need to leave, and it is said that he is going abroad, he has not said were and I am under no illusion that this is true.
According to someone else at the club, who I shall not name, there is NO buyer who is willing to part with what Hicks and Gillet want for the club, as it is over valued and losing too much money on a day to day basis.
Furthermore, although there have been leaked transfer details of players the club would wish to join them, these players and agents, are waiting until any new manager or owner is in situ, before signing on the bottom line of any contract.
Rafa Benitez may well be on his way, but he may be staying due to the complicated employment contract that has been drawn up so well.
compensation is in the region of £10 million plus, as he has 4yrs left on the contract.
All the myths of kenny Dalglish taking over is hearsay,
Most of the backroom staff will also be making way for radical changes also, due to financial reasons

I hope this may conclude any speculation on this rumours site

Blackburn Rovers
Wont all be true but as i work here i've seen ongoings.
In:
Raul&Guti from Real Madrid: Michel Salgado will be the negotiator for Sam , I know the Guti move close at the moment , he will be choosing Rovers or Galatasary. The Raul rumour is floating about , but wages may be too large.
Strikers – The striker problem will be solved , strikers that have been talked about here are Robert Lewandowski , PlAruna Dindane , Frederic Piquionne , Mauro Boselli and Aristide Bance.
Others – I've seen Kasper Schmeichel , Wendel and Karl Henry.

Outs:
Say goodbye to Morten Gamst Pedersen who is leaving on a free , i spoke to him and teams like Fiorentina , Fenerbache , Celtic and Palermo have been watching him. Steven Reid has made the West Brom loan permanent but that hasn't been made public yet.
It was rumoured that Wenger and a few other big clubs were interested in young stars Steven N'zonzi and Phil Jones , they won't be leaving in a hurry though. Finally Keith Andrews , Jason Roberts and a couple of other fringe players will leave depending on incoming players.

Watch for an interesting summer and i will post the happenings when the window gets big

Not a transfer rumour but Ibrox stadium home to Rangers FC is to be announced as the 2011/12 venue for the Champions league final.

The area around Ibrox has been purchased by Andrew Ellis and a undisclosed consortium (canary wharf rings a bell). Major development is about to commence.

Lee McCulloch to be made captain for next season, whilst David Weir takes a step towards retirement. Neil Alexander is rumoured to be off to Dundee United. Expect to see a swop deal involving Webster for Goodwillie and cash due to the departure of Boyd on a bosman. Nacho Novo is desperate to stay but funds will be tight and contractual negotiations between various players have stalled due to the infamous debt problems and the inability to offer contract fees.

I have been told that some players have not been offered contracts but weekly wages to overcome this scenario, i.e. continue as you were. I have also been informed that Smith is interested in players, and scouted a player from Hamilton Academicals, Hibs and Scthorpe United. Though I am not privy to who these players are.

Burnley have backed boss Brian Laws with a £9m warchest BEFORE player sales.

Chris Eagles is expected to leave for around £2.5m, Everton and West Brom are both interested in the winger, and Laws will not stand in his way.

Steven Fletcher is wanted by a host of clubs but has said he will remain at Burnley to help the push for promotion, and Laws would prefer that to the estimated £7m they can expect to get from Wolves, Bolton or Birmingham.

Laws is pressing ahead with his own targets now, and after showing the door to Stephen Caldwell, Stephen Jordan, Nicky Weaver and countless others, he has a long shortlist of players that he wishes to sign.

Goalkeeper: Brian Jensen has signed a new two year contract, but will only be backup for the coming season. Lee Grant from Laws old club Sheffield Wednesday is expected to sign for £1.5m within the week. Diego Penny is not in the clubs plans.

Defence: Andre Bikey will start the season as first choice centre back, with Tyrone Mears and Danny Fox as the full backs. Clarke Carlisle and Michael Duff are staying at Burnley, along with Leon Cort. David Edgar however is joining Swansea in a £1m part exchange deal involving Ashley Williams coming to Burnley.

Midfield: Chris McCann will be staying at Burnley, Wade Elliott however will be joining Bolton for around £1m. Laws big summer target is Jack Cork from Chelsea, who has said he wants to come back to Burnley. The clubs are in discussions right now and the fee being discussed is around £2.5m. The clubs target to replace Chris Eagles is Craig Conway from Dundee United, who is expected to cost around £600k. The club will also be signing Jason Koumas on a free transfer after his release by Wigan Athletic.

Forward: With Fletcher staying, Paterson will be played in the right wing slot he has excelled in for the last two months. The clubs big signing in this position to replace the outgoing David Nugent, is Gary Hooper from Scthorpe. The player was keen on a move to Burnley in January when Laws made an enquiry, but Nugents loan was eventually extended instead. Now the fee is set at £2.25m and this will be wrapped up shortly.

In addition to these transfers, the club will be taking some gambles on younger players who are not expected to play this coming season. Two players from Wrexham are signing, and Craig Dawson from Rochdale is wanted for around £800k

Barcelona said fabregas would never play professional football, what a load of bollox , anyone who s is not handicapped knows barca did all they could to keep him but Arsene was too convincing and if he does go back to barca this year he still made the right career choice moving to Arsenal, he is adored in London and would be a great loss to the premiership as a whole if he left,

Liverpool News:
Some shock news from Anfield – Despite recently signing a new contract and being touted as a future captain, Pepe Reina may well be leaving this summer !

A friend who lives in Spain, has said the big 'rumour' is that Barca are planning a massive bid for Reina, who they see as the final piece in the jigsaw for their proposed world domination – Figures in the region of £25m have been suggested and, if this happens, LFC would accept !

Make if it as you will – As a fan, I hope this is not true, as I believe he is the most consistant keeper in europe but if he goes, only real option I can see would be Joe Hart (young, English and class !), although don't be surprised to see Kirkland back

Lots of rumours doing the rounds that if Rangers FC don't complete take over within days then administration will follow. If this is the case then their league win (in the face of unbelievable money constraints) will be taken from them. Is this correct? Would they really lose the title and direct entry into champions league?
Any people know of the process involved and is this the correct punishment?

PS I have no desire to see Scottish football hit with such a hammer blow.

Gazidis has spoken to Wenger and reviewed where they've gone wrong. There is going to be a mix of youngsters and experience at the emirates. Commercial branding is going to open new streams of revenue. a new sponsorship deal is likely to be struck seeing us net in an extra 15m/year and not our paltry 5m/yr.
big signings will see us raise revenue through shirt sales.
the wage bill bill will be notched up a level to an almost chelsea level but sustainable from the sole income the club generates.
Keown, winterburn and dixon will be hired as defensive coaches. (keown was defensive coach when we got to champions league final)
Bergkamp will rejoin the gunners as a striking coach, he said that he wouldn't like to be manager coz its too stressful and time consuming.
GPS system has been purchased to assist the medical staff and aim to prevent injuries.(maybe schwarzzeneger should be hired to beef the boys up a bit–lol)

TO THE GUY WHO TOLD
"TO BARCELONA he may be worth just 40mil since they where the team that also sold him for 150k to arsenal and told him he would never play proffesional football."

who said those, the barca coach or did the whole barca team told him so??the truth is those are rumours made by the upset gunner fans when they heard that their best player is leaving

AGAIN YOU SAID
" kaka, a 27 year old who never at any point of his career was on the same level as fabregas, who has now turned 22 and seen as the second best midfeilder in the world behind xavi. "

dont rate kaka on his recent flops &poor run of form.cesc is good.but kaka is better.i hope nobody will say the other way round except for a few guner fans.kaka single handedly took milan to world cup & champions league glory for which he was awarded prestigious fifa world player of the year

YOU SAID
"fabregas will want to join barca but arsenal will only sell to the club that puts the biggest bid on since that's business."

may be you can keep him if you want.u may even compel him to stay as contract exists.but if you release him then he will have the choice of deciding his future.you can't expect wenger to sign a contract between man c & cesc.the man who sign it should be cesc.but he is adamant that he will leave arsenal for barca only

YOU SAID
"nasri would cost around 30–40mil"
hmm.for a player who couldnt even make into his countries last 30 for world cup.u r a die hard gunner fan that's all

WHY DID YOU SAY
"van der vaart and ruud van nistrelooy will join liverpool. im not sure if this is true or not but supposedly real are asking for a exchange deal with either mash or gerrard."

i don't think real has anything to do abt nistelrooy–lfc transfer as he is a hamburg player.signed just last year.dont expect him to leave

BUDDY YOU ARE WRONG ABOUT SAYING
"kolo toure will join the premier league in the summer. he said arsenal is his favored destination but i don't think wenger will spend big on a player that will play on the bench because song is better in defencive midfeild. i expect kolo to join man city and play along with his brother yaya toure once again."

kolo toure already plays for mancity.its his brother yaya who plays for barca.and its yaya who is linked with gunners

i won't blame you.cuz you are upset about your best player leaving.may be that forced you to write all these rubbish.hope for the best.thats all

now some rumours

pato/aguero–chelsea, but not torres

dimaria/silva/fabiano/neymar–man utd, benzema said he don't want to leave for another 6 years

hazard+cb+gk+chamakh–arsenal

marko marin(#10–werder bremen)–some premier league club

hope for the best guys.

Don't really care if you believe me or not, but a close friend of mine works within LFCs accounts, and according to them they have no idea that the club is close to a sale. There has been no activity within the accounts department, meaning no sale soon. Also, most of the staff what to see the back of rafa, as they know how much he has wasted on players. Like I said belive me or not, I don't care!

If micheal owen leaves united were will he go ?

16 May 2010 01:24:49
Neil Lennon to be offered the Celtic job in the next week – and he will accept in a flash.
Alan Thompson will join the backroom staff with Johan staying as assistant and will refuse the AIK Stolkhom job to stay at parkhead.
John Hartson could also be joining backroom staff as he slowly recovers from his problems.

Neil to jet out during world cup to find celtic a striker that will bang in the goals and john hartson will give his thought to see if he agrees that the player is good enough for celtic

Dermot Desmond will back alot of transfers like the MON era and try and push for the domestic treble next season

At least 1 big name signing to join celtic
Keane is unlikely, Bellamy could but doubtful.

Expect alot of the current team to be sold or let go

" RANGERS NEWS "
The TAX OFFICE has decided rangers owe 58 million pounds! on top of the 32m debt we have, if we appeal it could reach 80m. Walter and Ally will walk this week, most 1st team players will be sold thomson, bougerra, davis, wilson, mcgregor , mcculloch, papac, miller, as well as the players who are out of contract. The management team have been told the under–19s will be the side next season!. We are going to takes years to get out of this disaster that murray has got us into. The media will report these facts in tomorrows papers, I heard tonight from a distraught stevie smith , hes said the players can't take it in. WATP..

Hey im not going to mess about and I am going to give you real liverpool roumers and facts.
JOE COLE Has signed for Liverpool on a Bosman deal
MILAN JONANOVIC Has signed for Liverpool on a Bosman deal but the deal says if rafa leaves the contract is not valid.

Things that Liverpool are working on
Danny Wilson– deal nearly done
Van der vaart– Liverpool have had a bidded 6 million and they are waiting for madrid to answer back.
tordis – A rb liverpool had a done deal for him in january but he couldnt get to liverpool in time to meet the transfer so we might get him know.

Takeover
we have a couple off people looking at us and have made formal bids but its all happening at the moment. martin broughton has been appointed by the premier league and the bank so liverpool stay well financed. he will pick the buyer and liverpool should be safe soon.

Finally more facts
Benitez is in talks still but is going to stay because off the fans.
Torres is not going to be sold or doesn't want to go but if Liverpool have a bad season then yes he will go next season.
Gerrard is not going anywhere he wants to stay at liverpool all his life.

thank you

Regarding arda turan. I was the one who brought it to the attention of this websit yesterday about arda and spurs. And all this rubbish that he has already signed is nonsense. As I stated clearly yesterday harry is going to watch him when turkey play USA and then make his mind up. And the contract is said to be around 2million pound. So stop telliing lies and p.s I garentee he will be a flop in the prem As yes he can dribble but that's where it stops. Once again yours faithfully sinistar.

What's all this rubbish about Craig Levein being Celtic's new manager?

NO CHANCE! The man is a proven failure everwhere he went. Plus he will not walk out on Scotland after just one game – what was the point of him taking the job in the first place if he had no intension of staying?

Trappatoni, Hughes or Lennon.

In reply to this joker :
"ANOTHER FOOLISH GOON FAN, CESC IS WORTH HALF THAT AMOUNT! BARCELONA WILL GO IN WITH A 40M EURO BID NEXT WEEK AND IT IS BEING EXPECTED TO BE ACCEPTED AS CESC WILL TELL ARSENAL HE WANTS TO MOVE ON, BARCA HAVE A KITTY OF 50M EURO'S PUT BACK FOR FABREGAS, SO ARSENAL WILL GET £44M OR CESC WILL STAY!£70M IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN, ITS 50M EURO'S OR HE STAYS! PERSONALLY I THINK AN OFFER BETWEEN £40?45M WILL BE ACCEPTED IN AN HEARTBEAT!"

ok you know what ? your right. TO BARCELONA he may be worth just 40mil since they where the team that also sold him for 150k to arsenal and told him he would never play proffesional football. however welcome to the real world myfreind real madrid payed 60 something mil for kaka, a 27 year old who never at any point of his career was on the same level as fabregas, who has now turned 22 and seen as the second best midfeilder in the world behind xavi. if barca put a 40mil bid on fabregas , what cruel disorder makes you beleive a mega rich club like inter or real madrid or man city (who alredy confirmed a £50mil bid) will not jump in and outbid fabregas ?
i mean yeah fabregas will want to join barca but arsenal will only sell to the club that puts the biggest bid on since that's business.

also an offer of 40–45mil will not be accepted in a "heartbeat" exactly what makes you think such a thing? a midfeilder like gourcuff or nasri would cost around 30–40mil alone why the second best midfeilder in the world who is only 22 and the number 1 is 30 would cost the same as those players is a load of crap.

like i said once arsene wenger realises a player is no longer loyal to the club he won't do them any favors and sell to the club that offers the most money. so far man city have offered £50mil (about 50% more than the amount you said barca offered), and inter are going to make a bid in the summer.

anyway moving onto factual rumors.

gallas has declined his contract renewal and is pretty much on a free transfer now. wenger will decide if he wants to resign him depending on how well he plays in the wc and if he plays injury free. if he does leave on a free he will simply rejoin chelsea.

diaby will leave for juventus in the summer in a complicated exchange offer. buffon will come to arsenal for 5mil including diaby and arsenal will clear the debt for viera that juventus owe arsenal. (well that's what the latest negotiations are leading to apparently).

kolo toure will join the premier league in the summer. he said arsenal is his favored destination but i don't think wenger will spend big on a player that will play on the bench because song is better in defencive midfeild. i expect kolo to join man city and play along with his brother yaya toure once again.

van der vaart and ruud van nistrelooy will join liverpool. im not sure if this is true or not but supposedly real are asking for a exchange deal with either mash or gerrard.

redknapp will be given a massive kitty due to his massive success this season and will be able to sign joe cole and pay his slighlty reduced wages no problem. i just don't see any other club in london signing him.

if liverpool do not manage to gain new owners in the summer they may take a loan out to buy the players they need. ronaldinho and guti are some of the possible "big" signings if this does happen. also rumors about theo walcott joining in partnering torres. imagine that the fastest player in the world theo walcott partners the 5th fastest in the world torres what an amazing partnership that would be and ronaldinho on the flank ! not a liverpool fan but i read about this on a fancy news site so a bit far feched but still interesting !

IN RESPONSE TO No he wont, Just been speaking with him whilst he was celebrating the FA Cup win. A little worse for wear but said he was signing for a team who played in red. I said 'so you staying in London or you joining the devils' he replied 'can't say much until its sorted as a LIVER birdy told me not to'!

What a load of rubbish!! What you mean is that you've just woke up from your fix and this is what you have dreamt
Real transfers–Gerrard to Madrid–Silva to Man U –Fabregas–Barcelona

ARSENAL ACTION BLOG

EXCLUSIVE SPURS BEAT ARSENAL IN RACE FOR £12 MILLION TURKISH WINGER

Arsenal Action can confirm that Spurs have beaten Arsenal in the race to sign Turkish winger Arda Turan.

The player who has been linked with a summer move to Arsenal, will sign for Spurs after he returns from the USA with Turkey for £12m and on a 5 year contract.

Spurs moved fast in the race for the winger, and have beaten off Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool in the race to sign the talented winger.

Wenger, who has admits his admiration fo Turan in the past and his agent "Ahmet Bulut" recently said that "Arsenal are interested, and if they want him, Arda's first choice is Arsenal."

But Galatasaray Chairman "Adnan Polat" confirmed that a secret contract with Spurs had already been agreed and the player will sign for spurs in less then 12 days time.

Its seems that Arsenal waited far too long to get a deal on the table before spurs came in with a solid offer.

This is not the first time spurs have beaten Arsenal in a transfer race, Spurs also signed Luka Modric from under the nose of Arsenal. Wenger had said that Modric was too lightweight for the premiership.

Its would seem that Arsenal take an eternity to sign a player, We saw this with the Nasri and Arshavin deal that dragged on for weeks. Arsenal always seem to want to get the player on the cheap and always risk the chance of losing them. As the Arda deal proves.

Jus been informed that J.Cole's agent is currently sorting out the last few minor details with lfc. The signing will be made public at the same time as jovanovic. Also the claims that QIA are close to buying us is sadly a lie. These rumours about Kolarov and higuian are both just hot air aswell, amazingly rafa is only planning on bringing one striker (only if torres stays) in which is jovanovic
