This is how they appear, no picture at all. Your mate must have a phone from the future. Give me all the information on how to get one of those phones, would love a phone like that.
I have the same phone as you, and you can view people's default pictures on BlackBerry Messenger, depending on the version of BBM you have. I myself can view people's default pictures, so its not a phone from the future.

To be fair there is actually an app you can download for blackberry messenger which gives pictures next to the name.

Rumours linking Steve Davies with Newcastle are nonsense, it's fairly obvious Thompson was deemed surplus to requirements because davies will be used in his favoured central berth. Don't profess to have any inside info but it would seem mcarthur is a stick on to join rangers. Can't believe the lack of quality Celtic are bringing in, looks to me he's just changing like for like and looking for a marquee signing with the money he gets for mcgeady.

People on this site need to grow up. Torres is not leaving the reds and how do i know this, it simple, his armband proved he was red. Torres have given many clues of staying for instance, the world cup picture with torres wearing the lfc scarf, he told a mascot he was staying the article is on lfc.tv and finaly torres has said he wants to make up with the fans because of a injury plagued season. Surely this indicates that he is staying at liverpool. As for mascherano he is amazing player bit has disrespected the club by not answering to lfc phone calls, texts and email. This is only going to be the major player leaving the reds. Trust me you have my word.

Bad news for us Liverpool fans. Acoording to SSN, Fernando Torres refused to commit his future to the club.
This sounds very worrying. Obviously if Fernando was planning on starting the new season while still wearing the LFC shirt, he would of guaranteed Roy that he will still be here come the end of August.
Supposedly Roy had only a short conversation with Fernando. Like why the hell would he fly for 2 straight hours to have a short chat. Surely he could have doing that over the phone. I think Torres made it quite clear to Roy that he don't want to be at LFC next season. Fernando's attitude is absolutely terrible.
He's really starting to annoy me know.
I say lets take 50mil for him and flog him off. His head has been turned by europes elite and he now seems like a completely different person. He's also got a taste of what it feels like to win some silverware after winning the World Cup.
He obviously thinks that Liverpool aint a big enough club for him now. All this b.s he has in his book about wanting to stay at LFC for a long time and how money would never affect his decision making BLAH BLAH BLAH.
I say get rid of him. The whole club does not revolve around this clown. LFC is bigger than this.

My question. I know nothing of "loyalty bonuses. But, traditionally, players were paid 5% of the transer fee if they did not put in a transfer request. And 0% if they did. These rules were governed by the league – not by the club.

Previous posts will prove that my info has been pretty on the money. Here are a few developments worth watching;
Samaras – Club are desperate to off load and replace with Anthony stokes. Sammy has two offers from the Championship but they cannot meet his wages at Celtic. Hibs will accept 2m + add–ons for Stokes who is desperate to move to Celtic.
Ramis – This deal is close to being completed and Lennon is also considering a move for Mark Reynolds of Motherwell, this will leave the door open for Loovens to return to Cardiff in a possible swap deal for Ross McCormack.
Bellamy / Keane – Let's put and end to this – Keane will not return to Celtic but their is every possibility that Bellamy will move north once McGeady deal is done and dusted. Lot's of choices for him in EPL but it's his preference to move to Celtic or Cardiff.
David James – If his family agree, he will sign a two year deal.

Any Liverpool player who is not 100% committed must leave. This goes for Torres and Gerrard. Sick of the lack of passion for our club. Players like Kuyt and Reina will flourish under Roy.
As for transfers. I doubt Roy will bring in Cole who is injury prone like Torres. Two very good players taking it in turns in the medical room? No thanks.
Remy looks to be done. Although Roy's comments suggest he doesn't know who he is, Liverpool's technical director has watched this lad for 5 years.
Benega will come in for Masch. Although in my dream world I would like to see Alonso.
As for the left back position Steven Warnock will rightfully be back at Liverpool. A player who carries out things well. Very consistent.
Other rumours I've heard: Scott Parker, Matty Etherington, Simon Davies (Ew) and er, Christiano Ronaldo.. Bahaha.

Your suggestion about money not changing hands is wide of the mark and potentially misleading. Whilstmany clubs have bought players over, say for payments spread over two years, this will not be allowed after 2012 – where payments must be made within a year of the purchase – or possibly, without checking, it may even be within the season of purchase.
Liverpool are owed nothing on Alonso. Whilst the final payment on Aquilani is owed to Roma, I think Liverpoool have otherwise cleared their final debts owing on players with the recent payment for Glen J. No dobt Ed. will put me right if I have erred here.

Ledly is number 16 and Murphy number 27 (celtic fc superstore) despite the rumours Joe would get the number 7 shirt. There is absolutely no way in the world Celtic will start the season without a number 7, this will sound strange to the english teams but the hoops and gers fans will know what i mean and know how high a regard that number is held in, Jinky, King Kenny, Henrik and a restaurant called 'number 7'. Unless Jaurez gets it then it would suggest Celtic have some other players lined up, don't know who but it is a special number in the line up more often than not filled by our main man.

Was at the City Ground today, to pick up my season ticket. I saw at the back of the Brian Clough stand, two guys wearing Forest training type shirts seemingly being shown around by a guy wearing the same shirt, but in his mid 40's. These guys looked around the mid to late 20's in age. Did anyone see these guys today? Around about 2pm I was there. The reason I am posting this is that the first team squad are in Portugal, with the exception of Adebola, Bennett and McGoldrick and they were definately too old for the youth team. So I am wondering if they were new signings? I did not recognise them, I maybe wrong with my theory!

Read a few rumours posted today concerning Arsenal.
1) "One of the best signings Arsenal have ever made" someone said about a midfielder.
2) The one about Daniele De Rossi for 24m or 17m + Denilson or Eboue. Eboue has been linked to Roma before so im not sure (Really hope so though i can't see it)
3) Recent one regarding Eden Hazard at Colney ground.
Any info on any of these or any thing else at all Ed? {editor's note – I really don't believe any of those rumours. The first one is too speculative, when there is absolutely no reason to be like that, so it was just someone taking a hopeful punt imo. It is likely however that Ipswich may sign Wickham's mate and England u–17 skipper Connor Coady on loan esp. as Liverpool see this as a partnership for the future.

As to who will be replacing Vidic, I don't know, but will reiterate Gary Cahill is being closely monitored.

First of all Gerrard will NOT be leaving. Here is a quote from roy hodgson:
"What we haven't had is a club wanting to buy Steven Gerrard. Steven Gerrard is not for sale – I made that clear to him." So he's not leaving.
It is also unlikely that fernando torres will leave due to the fact that
a) Hodgson has spoken with Torres and has said:
"As far as we are concerned he is a Liverpool player and we want him to remain a Liverpool player. He is not for sale and we don't welcome any offers for him." Therefore meaning he isn't for sale.
b) Where would torres go? Not Chelsea or Man City as he has said he would not go to any other premier league club. He won't go to Barcelona because of their debt and they do not need him as they have Messi, Villa, Ibrahimovic and Pedro. The last team who might have been interested was Inter. He won't go because benitez is there.
Mascherano looks like he is on the way out. Hodgson is rumoured to want 15–20 mil for him + cambiasso and the out of favour Mancini on loan. However if Barcelona bid, they would bid around 25–30 mil for the Argentine and this would probably be accepted by Hodgson.
If Mascherano goes we will see Banega coming in for 8–10 mil from Valencia as his replacement.
Loic Remy is said to be having a medical at Liverpool tomorrow ahead of a £12.5 million move. This will be the only striker we sign in the transfer window as we will then have Remy, Torres, Jovanovic, N'gog, Pacheco and Kuyt.
We do not need a Left winger as Riera will be staying and is training with the squad in Switzerland. However if he does leave either Jovanovic will play there or there will be a move for Ruiz from FC Twente.
At Left back, it is rumoured that Hodgson is interested in Wayne Bridge. This deal is a possibility as Man City have had an offer accepted for Kolarov. As Insua seems to be leaving to Fiorentina then we will be in the market for a new Left back. Also Hodgson is looking at Wigan's Honduran Left back Maynor Figueroa. And a move for ex red steven Warnock could be on the cards.

I totally agree with you. I think its unfair that someone slammed your opinion, when its clearly a valid point (you only have to look at the managerial appointment to know that there is no money coming in, in the near future). Am an arsenal support and fully advicate your thought's on what some supporters percieve as their god given right. Hopefully Woy can make the best out of what he has, he is the best man for the job, in all fairness. With his guidance Liverpool could bounce back a lot quicker than you think. But all this talk of spending to solve the problem isn't going to happen. You need to be more specific. I had heard Alonso whispers but there weren't from reliable sources. But you never know. The person that wrote this "I don't think Arsenal have ever even looked to bring him in" – you are wrong. Arsenal made a bid for Alonso during the summer of 2008 on the final day of the transfer window after he was unsettled by the Barry stories. Unfortunately for us, we didn't meet Liverpool's valuation and their was no time to negotiate (AW is so cheap sometimes, its jarring. Silvestre being a purchase on the same day as the Alonso bid is a prime example). We DO need him he isn't explicitly a DM he's a CM full stop. Can you image a midfield of Song, Alonso and Cesc (am smiling just thinking about), but this is a pipe dream. As much as i would like to be rid of Denilson, (not a bad player, BUT he isn't Arsenal quality, like Lucas at Liverpool and he clogging up the bench).

Just heard from a contact connected to Chelsea that Torres is definitely leaving LFC. You may laugh but this WILL happen. After Hodgson met Torres, Purslow stayed back to discuss the transfer with Torres's agent. The offer is £45M plus add ons (£30M now, £15M over 3 years) with Torres getting £150k/week for 5 years. Should be announced within the next 2 weeks. I support LFC but I'm not really gutted as I think we could do better with the money we get.

This comes on the back of his failure to purchase the Golden State Warriors basketball team. I am certain that Frank Lampard is moving to Real Madrid along with the possibilty of Ashley Cole. The replacements I am not sure, I admit.
As a result of the above, Steven Gerrard is staying at Anfield with Torres awaiting the clubs hierachy to confirm stable progress at the club. Liverpool are pondering the transfers of Loic Remy (Nice) and Arda Turan (Galatasaray). Emiliano Insua WILL leave, Lucas will stay (with a more natural, offensive role assigned).
Tottenham, despite securing a fourth place finish, are struggling to sign good players because of the obvious Manchester City attracting interest and the likes of Liverpool still a huge club. Tottenham will not lose players as far as I am concerned, but the likes of your Toure's and your Silva'sare unlikely. Joe Cole signing seems to be a done deal.
Manchester United are obviously having trouble financially, despite thier universal income, however are still VERY much attracting major talents. I hear the club are DEFINATELY looking to bring in Benzema.

The "Aidan McGeady going to Villa" rumour is gathering pace. Villa captain Stiliyan Petrov has publicly encouraged the club to sign his former team mate. Bad news for us Liverpool fans. Acoording to SSN, Fernando Torres refused to commit his future to the club.
This sounds very worrying. Obviously if Fernando was planning on starting the new season while still wearing the LFC shirt, he would of guaranteed Roy that he will still be here come the end of August.
Supposedly Roy had only a short conversation with Fernando. Like why the hell would he fly for 2 straight hours to have a short chat. Surely he could have doing that over the phone. I think Torres made it quite clear to Roy that he don't want to be at LFC next season. Fernando's attitude is absolutely terrible.
He's really starting to annoy me know.
I say lets take 50mil for him and flog him off. His head has been turned by europes elite and he now seems like a completely different person. He's also got a taste of what it feels like to win some silverware after winning the World Cup.

I am surprised you do not unsderstand what this means. Basically, if a club puts a player up for sale then if he has a loyalty bonus in his contract (which players of the calibre of Torres invariably do), then the club has to pay it as it is them who are selling the player as opposed to the player asking to be sold. If a player asks to be sold (puts in a transfer request) then they forfeit any loyalty bonus. All this really is is a warning to Torres – we're not offering you for sale so if you want to go you ask and as a result lose your loyalty bonus, and a warning to any would–be suitors that they are going to have to pay a pretty penny to get their target.
Everyone seems to thionk that if Torres were to go he wouldn't go to a British club however that would only hold true if Liverpool decided to sell him. If he put a transfer request in he will go to whoever meets the clubs asking price and he himself feels is offering the best package and he is most lilkely to win things with.
At the end of the day very few world class players play for any club out of loyalty. The ply their trade for money and glory. Torres will look at whether he thinks he will win major honours at Anfield within the next 2 seasons – 3 tops. If he doesn't think they will then he'll go to where he thinks he will win and to be brutally frank he'd be a fool not to.
On the bright side, if he does stay then it means he thinks Liverpool will win major honours very soon and he wants to be part of it.

To all the eager Leeds fans (myself included) there is no substance in Hooper joining Leeds either on the QT or out aloud. The deal is dead as Scthorpe wanted too many clauses, including a huge selling on clause that was not of interest to Mr. Shaun Harvey (more say Ken).

Ed, Kyel Reid is the only, er, Kyle/Kyel Reid. He was released by West Ham a few years ago and went to Sheff Utd, now he's been released by them and Sky sports "understands" that he's moving back to Charlton where he spent the last half of last season on loan. {editor's note – my mistake. I listened to a friend of mine who is a West Ham fan, he swore blind that there are two because Kyel is still at the Hammers and they are looking to loan him out. So eagles knocked us back due to his wage demands. A bit worrying to be honest. Loic remy has signed for Liverpool in an up front fee of 7.5 million with further instamments to total 12.5 million. He is likely to partner Torres up front with Gerrard dropping back into his best position Midfield. All this rubbish about Toores going to Chelsea is BS. Torres will not hand in a transfer request, he is not that kind of man. Mascherano will definitely leave to either Inter or Barcelona but that will not be decided until Barca have given up the Fabregas chase. Why you Gunners want someone to stay that clearly has his heart and mind elsewhere is beyond me. No player is bigger than the club and the level of disrespect he has shown you, should not be forgiven. Loic Remy update. IS he or is he not signing?
Roy Hodgson today played down reports that Liverpool are on the verge of signing Nice striker Loic Remy.
The France international has been linked with a move to the Barclays Premier League throughout the summer, but Hodgson has reacted coolly to suggestions he is poised to arrive at Anfield.
"He's a player who was mentioned to me by the scouting department and a player the club were following before I came, " Hodgson told his press conference in Switzerland.
"He's a player I know very little about. If I am going to be interested in a player I am going to have to watch him playing, study him and make judgments which I have not been able to

So eagles knocked us back due to his wage demands. A bit worrying to be honest. He was a player that should be able to tempt to Ibrox, the actual real reason was simple the maximum wages that rangers can possibly offer anyone is 18k a week (this is determined by the bank) we offered him 15k but he wanted 20k. Im only assuming that he has prob been unofficially been quoted this from a prem team (i know u will all say that is tapping up etc. anyone who doesn't think this exists doesn't know the ins ands outs of football!!)
It was not the wages, he did not want to move to Scotland pure and simple. Blackpool have more chance of signing him then any Scotland team.

I previously posted here some information I had from an informed source.
Theo Walcott to Liverpool as a straight swap for Pepe Reina. This offer was put on the table by Roy Hodgson as a counter proposal to Arsenal's offer of £16 million cash ( and turned down flat by Rafa Benitez). I was also told that this was the reason why Arsenal had stalled on the Mark Schwazer deal.
I've now heard that Theo Walcott has been pulled from the squad against Barnet in the first pre–season friendly! Is this a case of putting two and two together and making five??

I'm not the original poster. But I did hear a rumour the other day that Arsenal are in negotiations with Roma over the £24m (or 17m + Denilson or Eboue) transfer of Daniele De Rossi. Personally I immediately dismissed the rumour as being ridiculous but maybe this is the player mentioned? I don't think we'd sign him or spend that sort of money on a single player and haven't heard anything from any of my official sources.

Is this by any chance the same Serbian striker who plays CB for Dortmund?
NO! I think he's referring to Danijel Subotic who is actually Bosnian and not Serbian (Don't get those two confused!). Although he has represented Switzerland at U21 level. He's not been playing in Germany though, he's been on loan in Belgium at Waregem (contracted to Portsmouth since 08). I'd say he's within Celtic's budget (less than £500k) although i wouldn't get overexcited. The lad made just 7 first team appearances and only scored one goal!

Sorry mate, firstly i doubt Sidwell would come in, i think he's a decent player and all, but our centre midfeilders are strong, I think Sidwell would block the devolpment of 'Dave' and Crosas, so doubt it.
Also Hibs have apparently slapped a £3–4 million price tag on Stokes, considering he was probably the best striker, if not round about, in the SPL last season.

Holman is being targetted on loan, my opinion is he aint good enough he plays in a position we don't need to strengthen. We need two wingers (out and out wingers) not players that players than can "cope" there. we need a striker regardless of what Smith says in the papers he knows this as well.
There is still a long way to go in the market but I know for a fact that Smith is pretty dissapointed about Eagles as he knew he could make a profit outta him and was convinced he would sign.
ah well, I still don't wanna make any predictions about the league till the window shuts.
A word of warning tho to the tic fans beware of Braga, they are a far better team than a lot of you will originally think. The portuguese league is stronger than ours, financially and quality wise. They finished 2nd last year ahead of Porto and Sporting, already have a strong organised team. Celtics first competitive game of the season will be away to them. Id think Celtic will be ok at home but overall i feel there chances are pretty much 50/50.

Celtic will not let Feruz go (huge talent) but he has been warned on several occasions not to play amatuer footie on the side his range of passing and vision was outstanding for a 14 year old especially in an amatuer league when everyone is trying to rough him up.
I played in the match to which is being referenced in the Glasgow Sunday league the other player was a clyde player, big Stevie O (can't even spell his second name lol) but he's been kicked into touch and now plays for amatuer saturday team. A young St.Mirren player also played in this match but he is still on their books.

Even thought Lee trundle has signed for Neath he got shown round a house in the swansea area yesterday(thursday) which would set him back 500k.. Not bad wages at neath then is it. I am a Forest fan so not trying to cause trouble im just stating a fact.
Source – The lady who showed him round the house is my girlfriends best mate and we were getting pissed with her and stayed at hers the night before she showed him round. Delph is worth more than McGeady alone. He's also one of the best up and coming prospects England has and Villa would never get rid of him. Hugely doubt he'd go to Celtic to begin with.

Celtic info.. Lenny know's Aiden is on his way out & will use the fee to bolster the team so he won't splash all of it on Keane or Bellamy as he thinks we need more stregnth in depth than a marque signing. Keane's going to Villa & Bellamy's a def possibility on loan as wages freed up from Boruc will help.
Lenny wants Bellamy in soon as Spurs are interested, although Bellamy has said he'll only leave Mcfc for us or Cardiff.

Rangers are chasing Australian World Cup star Brett Holman.
SportTimes can today reveal Ibrox manager Walter Smith is attempting to land the attacking midfielder on a season–long loan deal from Dutch side AZ Alkmaar. The 26–year–old caught the eye at the World Cup Finals in South Africa when he scored Australia's opening goal in their 1–1 draw with Ghana and then netted a stunning 25–yarder against Serbia.
Now Smith is hoping to convince the player to kick–start his club career by moving to the SPL champions after failing to command a regular starting slot in Holland.
It's understood Alkmaar coach Dick Advocaat has already sanctioned the potential loan deal and it will now come down to whether or not Rangers can afford to match the midfielder's £16,000–a–week wages.

The United rumours are absolutley flying around at the moment but the only one's that seem to add up are the Lahm rumour involving either Park or Berba and cash, and the Balotelli rumour. An attacking midfielder is an absolute priority though.
The rumour I have heard is one involving mesut ozil again, this has come about since the Bremen chairman has accepted that a decent offer coupled with the player wanting to go could lead to a sale this summer. He would totally reinvogorate the United midfield. The idea that Fergie has set himself an arbitrary limit of 1 signing is total rubbish, if the right players are available then United will spend!

Regarding West Ham. We are supposed to announce atleast one signing today which the board has described as an 'exciting' new signing.
The Barrera deal is almost done, we are still waiting on a work permit for him and then the deal is done.
Looks like we will sign Piquionne (spelling) on a deal worth £1million with a wage of £40k per week.
The Lolic Remy deal is hung in the air at the moment. West Ham have reached a stublimg block as they want to pay Nice the £13million over a period of three to four years, Nice want it all within 6 months.

I have heard nothing about this proposal at all – but it does seem entirely plausible. AC Milan would like Robinho to replace Ronaldinho and this has been known for a number of weeks.
However, I understand that Milan would have a preference to take Robinho on loan for the first season and then buy the player. They are very keen to see what sponsorship could be bought to the club by Robinho as they are concerned that Ronaldinho leaving is going to have a financial impact.
I would guess that a loan would not suit Manchester City – but a deal based on Robinho and cash to try and lure Pato away from Milan would seem like something City may think is viable. Somehow I doubt AC Milan would accept it, but I think an offer such as this could well be made. Interesting.

Have received a message via e–mail from a friend in Slovakia watching the Leeds tour, supposedley Gary Hooper is out there with the boys and will be playing in tonight's friendly. This is because Leeds medical staff are all out there, so he has travelled to undergo a medical with the signing completed tomorrow.
In the meantime, he will be playing under the name "Bartholomew Gadsby" so as to keep a low profile.

I posted two days ago that Robinio will be joining United on a 12 month loan with option to buy. This has now be stopped by the city board as they fear he will turn it on at Old Trafford. Fergie is turning his attention to Modric with a swap of berbatov and 6 million. Vidic is definatly on his way to Real Madrid, with Benzema and 5 million coming to United. Loic Remy looks add on to join Liverpool. A friend of mine runs a small magazine for English speaking ex–pats out in the Cote D'Azure (of which Nice is part) and spends alot of time around the club. He told me about the bid yesterday and it is common knowledge that Remy would chose Anfield. It is just up to the clubs to agree the fee now but the player wants the move so Nice are likely to accept. This will facilitate West Broms' loan move for Babel. My friend also told me that initial enquiries have been amde by LFC for Taiwo at Marseille. I've also heard that Hodgson is interested in Bridge for th LB position but Man City are using it as leverage to talk to Torres. Southampton are preparing to offer out of contract Degenham and Redbridge midfielder Harlee Dean. Dean is on trial with Southampton and is currently training with the reserves. The 18 year old scored on his debut against Winchester City. Dubbed as a future star Dean spent a chunk of last season on loan at Grays Athletic, impressing The Dagenham manager enough to be offered a contract, but Dean has stated his desire to join Southampton. Saints would have to try and agree a fee for Dean with the daggers otherwise the fee could be settled by a tribunal.
Southampton are also apparently keen on signing former Wycombe keeper Scott Shearer on a one year contract, proably as back–up to Kelvin Davis. Shearer is a free agent after being released by Wycombe on July 1st 2010.

Delph is worth more than McGeady alone. He's also one of the best up and coming prospects England has and Villa would never get rid of him. Hugely doubt he'd go to Celtic to begin with.

First port of call, Fernando Torres. The guy is Champions League quality, which he won't be competing in this year. There are three clubs rumoured to be interested, Chelsea, Manchester City and Barcelona, with staying at liverpool another option. Barcelona, I don't think they will fork out the money, they do have David Villa as well as Ibrahimovic. manchester city, I think you can shake it off too, in all honesty, don't be surprised if Manchester land Didier Drogba. yes I know silly, but the money offered by Man City is silly, and for a 32 year old going on 33. If I was Chelsea I would accept it, and fo for Torres. Staying at liverpool is also reasonable, he could give Roy and the Kop one more year.
Now on to my pride and joy, Newcastle. Steve Harper I believe is off to celtic, this leaves the door open for Newcastle. David James looks more and more likely leaving Pompey, with Fulham chasing his signature, Newcastle could take a look at him. I am tossing a name up here don't shoot me down, Shay Given, did leave Newcastle, and could return as joe Hart will be a rival for the goalkeeper spot, and could land with him.
Just one last point, Ed, Joe Cole is being a greedy little thing, I mean the figures being reported, first that he wants to be on par with Gerrard on wages at Liverpool, and just the wages being reported, it has got to a stage where nobody cares now, pick a clkub and shut up.

Heard from my old bhoy who is paly with a celtic director that Mcgeady is on the move. Both Brum clubs are sniffing about with Birmingham danglin Mcfadden plus cash as a carrot. This could add up as both Mcgeady and Mcfadden did not go on pre season tours Mcgeady with a "thigh strain" and Mcfadden's mrs has just had a kid (homesick possibly??) not sure though. Liverpools days have been and gone and Liverpools chances of winning the league again sadly is very slim, i know its harsh but its true! Times change and theres nothing wrong with supporting a mid–table team. Just because Liverpool has been successful does not give us any right to win the league, or to be in the top 4. Alot of Liverpool fans seem to think we belong at the TOP which is not the case, Liverpool belong where they finish at the end of each season.

I totally agree with you pal some LFC fans are so deluded, some of the players supposedly joining LFC will never happen, the only rumours i've heard are Steven Warnnock and Garath Barry could be heading to Anfield or Barry will be keeping the bench warm at Eastlands.

Heard a rumour that Celtic are now after Eagles (they have form Loovens, Brown, Hartley, etc)
and that Newcastle are interested in Steve Davis (hope not though as I'm a Rangers fan)
Also that Islam Feruz has 'lost his way' a bit at Celtic (for those that don't know he is 15 and the big hope at Celtic)

Barca have confirmed they have €50 million (£41.7m) to spend this summer, and that isn't enough for Fabregas. Sooo all you hating and saying Fabregas is leaving are WRONG!!
Fabregas isn't worth £40m, he is only a back up player for Spain, Silva is that too & was sold for £24m, sure Barca will up their originally offer for him but he will end up going to Barca for around £35m.

Slight difference between Fabregas and Silva! Fabregas signed a new contract last season which keeps him at the club for another 5 yrs. Arsenal are not in a financial predicament and do not need to sell their captain to stay afloat. Silva was nearing the end of his contract and Valencia were desperate for the money – hence the deal being £24m! Valencia had to sell both Silva and Villa this summer or they knew they would lose the players on Bosman's as they weren't going to sign contract extensions. I'm an Arsenal fan and I don't justify Fabregas (or any other player) being worth £40m, but to suggest he's a 'benchwarmer' is a childish statement that reeks of jealousy and bitterness. He would walk into the first team of most clubs, but both Barca and Spain have an embarrassment of riches right now. So if Ronaldo was worth £70m and Kaka £55m, then yes given the overinflated fees, Arsenal are quite right to demand the money they are looking for. You need to look at the bigger picture – its not just what Cesc does on the pitch – its also down to marketing the club, shirt sales, sponsors etc. A deal to take him to Camp Nou won't happen this summer. The 2 clubs are miles apart in their valuations and while Cesc is a luxury in the current Barca side, he's a necessity in the current Arsenal side. Wenger has to be the most stubborn Manager to do business with and once he's got his teeth into something he won't let go. Barca have gone about the whole episode completely the wrong way and even with their refinancing complete it still won't be enough to convince Wenger to let him go at this late stage of the summer.
PS) Loic Remy to West Ham £12m? Doubt it pal, Wenger enquired about him last season and was told to start bidding at £16m, he ended his interest despite Remy claiming "Arsenal are a club that makes me dream". Remy is highly regarded as a big future talent in France – A) West Ham couldn't afford him – transfer or wages B) He wouldn't move to a side that will be battling relegation C) He will be looking for at the very least a Europa League side to join as he has the opportunity now to break into the French National team and become a regular (given that Henry and Anelka won't play for Les Bleus any longer and Gignac did very little to convince!)

Heard from a friend of mine who knew about Man City's attempt to sign Kaka that Liverpool FC have asked about a number of Man City's home nation players. Man City have rebuffed LFC simply saying if you want to make offers on any of them let us talk to Torres first. Hodgson will fly out to ask Torres if he wants to be a LFC player next year. Expect news on Torres future to be announced either way late next week.

Delph + Sidwell + Cash for McGeady?
Delph is worth more than McGeady alone. He's also one of the best up and coming prospects England has and Villa would never get rid of him. Hugely doubt he'd go to Celtic to begin with.

Norwich City haven't quite finished with their transfer dealings for the summer! Have heard from an ex–player who is currently a scout that a fee of £350,000 has been agreed to bring Martin Craine to the club from Coventry.
Also, expect Dagenham & Redbridge winger Danny Green to sign as he has been to have a look around the club today with the chief executive. Have no idea of the fee on this one though.

it is nice that have announced this evening that liverpool, spurs and west ham have all bid £12million for loic remy, with himself announcing he would 'obviously' favour a move to anfield although spurs does have an appeal? has a 1 in 2.5 goalscoring average i believe, not alot of footage available but seems to have a good touch and a turn of pace too and only 23 too.
